Owl however are technically zygodactal but can switch between depending on the situation. On a lighter note, I’ve decided to put my whole “do an art challenge every month” thing on the shelf. After the fiasco Dinovember turned into, and my current lack of enthusiasm for January, I think it’s best to give myself a free month between every structured one. So I’ll be back for Birbuary, I guess, and I still probably won’t post so much as a thumbnail (though I should at least have my own computer again, by that point).

Lost birds fly away because they are inexperienced and a overwhelmed at all the new stuff that get thrown at them. Once they have settled in the humans become a part of their flock and are less likely to fly away.
