It was a Teen Wolf Sterek fic, an au with magic. Claudia either adopted stiles or was his bio mom and pretended to adopt him, but stiles had a familiar who constantly turned into dead grotesque bodies and the only person who accepted them fully (and laughed at the familiar being gruesome) was laura. laura dies somehow and derek comes in. I think laura and stiles were partners for the magic things law enforcement? I remember that they thought stiles might have killed laura/tried to pin it on him, but after lauras death derek takes over as stiles' partner. I remember one scene with lydia and maybe heather and stiles with candles? I'm pretty sure both lyds and stiles lived with claudia. by the end of the fic the familiar sacrifices itself to save stiles and his friends from the argents, and I'm pretty sure there's a scene where ally defects from her aunt/grandpa. First one - Stiles gets a stressful job in IT (poss in San Fran?) and starts hallucinating rich Derek drinking posh coffee in NYC. After several hallucinations of Derek being all "you really need a new job," it turns out that Derek is real, is an alpha, and Stiles is fated to be his emissary. The Sun to Rise by andavs | 7.5K Stiles has an imaginary friend. He's kind of a dick.

Second one - (which may have been deleted from AO3) is a canon divergent S1 AU. It hits the beats of S1 but instead Scott doesn't hesitate when Derek offers him the chance to kill Peter and possibly reverse the bite. Scott kills Peter and is human again. The main thing I remember is after the fact, Stiles visits Derek at the burned down Hale house and says something like "it's like none of it really happened." And Derek levels him with a sour wolf look and says "it happened." Timshel by jsea | 12.5K Derek lets Scott kill Peter for the cure at the end of S1. This is the story of how that choice changes everyone's fate. "Sir, you should know..." Derek starts to say, then snaps his mouth closed when the Sheriff takes one hand off the steering wheel, and holds it up in a halting gesture. "You're not a bad kid, Derek." "I'm a werewolf," Derek says, before he can think about it. For the first time in his life the word feels dirty, like something to be ashamed of. I can't remember if it was a steter or sterek fic. It's a short humourous fic where Stiles has an injury but he was adamant that bandaids could fix it and it was at least a six inch long-ass gash or something. If this sounds familiar to anyone? Thanks!

Looking for a fic where I don’t remember much just Isaac coming home to Derek trashing the loft and saying something like “I just saw stiles, he reeks of sex” then it cut scene to something else. History: Although she was unaware of this fact until well after the fire that burned her family, Claudia was born a member of the Hale family. A few hours after she was born, she was somehow mixed up with a stillborn that would have gone to an adoption agency. Claudia was left in the service until she was about nine months old, at which time she was adopted by Kate Argent. It was this adoption that Claudia Jane (having been given the last name of the infant she had been confused with) became Claudia Argent. Growing up, she was allowed a lot of quiet time, which gave her a love of books and drawing. She was five years old when she finally met her uncle Chris and her baby cousin, Allison. She was ecstatic, having never known she had family because Kate had kept it quiet that Claudia was adopted. Despite the age difference, Claudia helped take care of Allison and eventually became a good friend. When the girls showed an interest in archery, they began learning and practicing. Claudia was about 10, and in a different competition ladder than her cousin, but the girls loved it. Not long after their first contest, Claudia discovered she could move things with her mind. It wasn't anything big, but small things, like a pencil or small book. When her mother found out about this, Kate began telling Claudia to use the ability in her archery. Although Claudia did train and practice her power, she refused to use it with her archery. The older she got, the stranger living with Kate became, but the young girl managed.For a few years, life stayed in a relatively similar routine. The single mom moved Claudia around a bit, but when Claudia was thirteen, the two had a stay for a year. Claudia actually made a friend, a girl named Agnes, and befriended the other teen's family. The girls were best friends, who shared everything. The spring break after Claudia's fourteenth birthday, Agnes' dad planned a vacation to a shopping spree to Vegas to see the Cirque de Soleil show, and each of his two daughters were allowed to bring one friend. Agnes chose to invite Claudia, and after days of begging and pleading, Claudia got Kate to agree. With fervor, the best friends made sure they had cameras, clothes, bags, and matching jackets. The Friday before spring break, Claudia was dropped off at her house long enough to grab her bags and then the five people were off, unaware of the fateful twist that awaited them all. The trip to Nevada went with no trouble, and the group of teenagers had a wonderful time. Between the shows, the shopping, the food and the amazing view from the hotel, Claudia forgot about the ability to move things. By the end of the week, the girls were sad to see the end of their fun. The tourists got in the car and headed back to Washington. About halfway home, the car took a pit stop for drinks and restroom breaks. Of all the people in the car, Claudia was the only one to put her seatbelt back on because they were behind schedule. A wreck ahead of them caused the group to take a detour into an area that had recently been iced over. At one point, Agnes' father hit a patch of black ice and lost control, rolling twice. Claudia was the only one left in the car by the time it stopped. The only survivor, although barely. She was placed on a stretcher and was then in an ambulance to the hospital while body bags were being delivered for the remaining four. While in route to the hospital, the ambulance was hit by....something. The driver and two of the three attending EMS staff were killed by a monstrous form. Claudia was dragged out and tossed aside, a huge bite in her side as she rolled down an embankment. As she fell into darkness, she was sure she was going to die.At least until she woke up the next day with no signs of any trauma.Scared, confused, caked in blood, Claudia panicked. Her mom would kill her. Kate hated when Claudia was late for anything, but this? As she struggled for an answer, she got an idea. Her uncle Chris. Perhaps he could warm Kate up to being sympathetic because of the accident? Surely it was worth a try. And so the young Argent began a trip back to her uncle's house. It took a few days, and a few concerned people who stopped her, the first of which being a married couple who offered her fresh clothes when she told them she'd gotten lost while hunting with her mom. With clean and new clothes, she continued on until almost a week later, she arrived in the town her uncle was staying in with her cousin and aunt. Sneaking around to the backyard, she waited until Chris came out to check the barbecue she could smell. When he realized she was there, the shock on his face was heartbreaking, although it was nothing compared to the fear and worry on his face when she explained about the monster that attacked her and the bite that was gone along with all the other injuries she had felt. When she told him she didn't understand what was wrong, Chris explained that nothing was wrong per se. That she had been bitten by a rogue alpha werewolf, she was now one herself and that she had to get to safety. When a confused Claudia asked why she couldn't stay with her mom, Chris told her the truth of the family. Why it was so important they had permits for firearms and all sorts of weapons; they were werewolf hunters. And while Chris followed the code, which he recited to her in perfect French, he was concerned her mother did not. In a last minute decision, or strategy, Chris gave her a bag with money, some food and drinks, a card with a California address and a promise that the family she would find would grant her protection, safety and a family. But she had only two days to get there. As he placed his leather jacket over her shoulders, Claudia asked why the short time frame. Chris merely smiled sadly and explained that the full moon was in three nights, counting the one they were in. Something seemed to understand in Claudia, and she nodded, granting her uncle one last hug before she was gone, heading as quickly as she could towards Beacon Hills and the family that would protect her, entirely unaware that fate was sending her back to her blood family.She was happy when she found herself in the edge of town and figured she could walk through the preserve, that even though she had arrived on the night of a full moon she would be okay. Sadly, she was wrong. The moon reached its peak before she found the house, and she lost control. Violent and unhinged by the beast, she hunted, and found a homeless orphan who had taken refuge in the woods, killing him viciously. Catching the scent of another wolf, the girl attacked, only to be severed back to humanity by the sound of snapping bone. With her senses back to normal because of the pain, she came face to face with Peter. At first, she was startled, but she couldn't bring herself to move. After a moment, the man asked her why she smelled like an Argent. She was confused at first, but realized somehow her uncle must have known the family. She explained what had happened, that her jacket was actually her uncle's and that he had sent her to find the Hale family. Peter took her the the Hale home, where he set her up in the basement and chained her down in case she lost control again. Once the night was over, Claudia felt normal again, but she knew that wasn't the case. For a few days, she was escorted by either Peter, his brother-in-law Jeremy, Peter's sister Talia, or the oldest Hale son Derek. The four taught her control, and once she had it, Peter and Jeremy trained her. She learned fast, and discovered the bite that had turned her also amplified her telekinesis. She felt free, and at home, finding herself calling Talia and Jeremy her parents, their children her siblings and Peter her uncle. It was a nice setting, one Claudia had imagined families to have. Right after she she turned fifteen, she asked Talia if her last name could be changed to Hale, which they did legally and Claudia Marie Argent became, as her birthright intended, Claudia Marie Hale. Claudia was glad to have a family, even if only "adopted", and she was prepared to do anything for her pack. What no one was prepared for was Kate Argent. Claudia began hiding when she realized the huntress was in town, warning Talia and when the plea fell on deaf ears, she fell to Peter, who was by far the confidant she talked to most. She didn't trust her mother, not after what her uncle had explained to her, and so tried to avoid her. And yet, just days before the fire, she happened upon the Argent. The two had a bitter argument before Claudia ran off, eyes the sapphire blue as she fought for control. When the woman vanished, Claudia found herself relieved. Even though she was sixteen, Claudia knew she shouldn't rejoice. Her mom wasn't someone to take lightly. And that was proven the day of the fire.Claudia had decided to wander the preserve, taking her sketchbook and some small snacks and water with her for her little adventure. Finding her favorite place in the woods, she settled in and began drawing. Getting lost in the art and quiet nature, she was brought out of it by a stabbing ache in her body. Gasping, she struggled to stand. Something was wrong, but not with her. Eyes flaring the blue of her wolf, she rushed, leaving her things behind to get home, to check on her family. What she found when she finally got there was smoke, and the sickening smell of burned flesh. When Derek and Laura arrived, she found her way to them, only to find Peter had escaped, but barely managed to stay alive. The three did go to the hospital and while Claudia and Derek stayed close to their uncle, Laura eventually made the decision to leave. As the oldest Hale was now alpha, and Derek and Claudia were only betas, they couldn't argue much. They found themselves in New York, where Claudia began courses for medical degrees while her siblings worked. Laura's free time went into finding the one responsible for the fire. Claudia wasn't sure, but a part of her wondered if her sister suspected Kate. She would never get the chance to ask, since once Laura got close, the alpha went missing. After a week, Derek went looking for Laura and it was a few days before Claudia got a call that it was time to go home. Laura had been killed in Beacon Hills, and they were going to find the alpha responsible.They hadn't expected the alpha to be their uncle. When everything hit the fan and Peter was killed, Derek took the role of alpha. Claudia began scouting for potential betas, people who could benefit from the bite. She had a brief relationship with one of the betas, Erica, but when the other female went missing, Claudia fell into a depression and almost killed herself with wolf's bane tea. She was kept under protection by her family. When a rogue alpha began threatening Beacon Hills, Claudia was threatened and Derek put out a death order on the woman for trying to kill his family. With the rogue missing, things have calmed a little and Claudia has since discovered that genetically, she is a Hale.

All im saying is that Stiles and Derek being related has so much potential for The Drama and we're not taking enough advantage of that.

So... A little follow up on the (what if Claudia took Mitch with her in estranged), what would've Mitch done if he saw stiles being bullied (by Jackson, or some punk that plays lacrosse with Mitch and was very jealous bc he wasn't the Captain and wanted to get back at Mitch using stiles) I think he would let his very badass side show and that would leave everyone in shock...

Or anything where Mitch was a total badass

For the first scenario, with Jackson bullying Stiles:

Jackson gets jealous when he sees Mitch, back from college for the summer, practicing with Scott and Stiles. He tries to show off for Mitch in that typical douchebag way where he's lifting himself up by stepping on Scott and Stiles. Which is to say: it doesn't work. Mitch tells him to knock it off, and Jackson is a little hurt that his hero just brushed him off like that, but the message never sinks in. It just doesn't compute that Mitch wouldn't like him. And he's determined to show Mitch exactly where he's wrong, and that Mitch should be mentoring him. (Mitch is kind of put off by it, tbh. Like yeah he's a lacrosse star, one of the best college players to live, etc. Whatever, he's also a 20-something kid and doesn't want a fanboy, he just wants to hang out with his little brother.)

When Jackson's Win-Him-Over-With-Charm plan doesn't work, he gets nasty. Under the guise of trying to understand/"help" him, he brings up Mitch's past, asks why he'd have given up his future/inheritance. Jackson may not know his bio parents, but at least his adoptive ones are rich. He can't imagine giving all that up just to live some podunk life in a small town. But if they team up, they could go pro together; Jackson could back Mitch's career, and in return Mitch could train him, help him make connection, etc.

Meanwhile Mitch is ??? Because a literal teenager is trying to buy him. Between Jackson's treatment of Stiles, and his personal digs on Mitch (acting as if he knows the first thing about him), it's the closest Mitch has ever come to actually throwing hands with a teenager. He holds back though; psychological warfare and blackmail are so much more fun. And effective! Especially with someone like Jackson. And the last thing you want to do is piss off a telepath.

In Estranged, Mitch is entirely untrained. But here, with Claudia, he would be fully trained, which means he could do some damage, which Jackson would get to see first hand.

Second scenario, someone on his team decides to fuck with Stiles:

If it was someone Mitch's age picking on Stiles, it would be no holds barred. Mitch would go ballistic. I don't think he would have the same anger issues as he does in Estranged, bc he doesn't have the same trauma, but he's protective over his family. Threatening the people he loves, in any way, will always be a trigger for him. Especially give the age gap here. Stiles is his baby brother; if Mitch was 17, Stiles would be like 12-13. So it's extra levels of "wtf is wrong with you?" No one that close to graduating should be bullying a middle schooler. Mitch would absolutely get bloody over that. (And not necessarily his own.)

I could also see some "My big brother is gonna kick your big brother's ass!" From a scrappy 12 year old Stiles. He probably gets Mitch into all kinds of trouble lol. Tbh I imagine them having an early Steve/Bucky relationship, where Mitch is always having to drag him out of trouble when Stiles gets into fights with people much bigger and meaner than him. (He was probably a scrawny kid, and then between middle school and Highschool, sprouted like a weed. It's why Stiles is so gangly and awkward; he grew like 6 inches in one summer, and doesn't know where everything is yet.)

And finally, one more addition of my own for Badass Mitch~

I think he'd go ballistic on hunters, too. I already mentioned it on the first post where he gets kidnapped and tortured by Kate. That's not by accident; he totally confronts her (giving Laura time to warn her family), and they probably have a pretty brutal fight before she takes him down. He's got the training, but she has experience, and she fights dirty. But then after Laura and the others free him and have the Hale v. Hunter standoff, even while tortured, Mitch can still hold his own. Him and Laura are totally a badass battle couple, watching each other's backs and tearing through the hunters. Literally, in Laura's case!

And just one more idea because I think it's cute - once they go from Teenage Dating to Werewolf Courting, Laura takes down a deer as a courting gift for Mitch. Just. Fuckin. Goes out and kills the biggest stag she can finds and presents it to him all proud, and he's like O_O What the fuck am I going to do with this, babe??

But he cooks it up once he figures out how to actually butcher the thing (maybe with Papa Hale's help, it could be a father-soninlaw bonding experience) and Laura is heart eyes at him, bc not only did he accept her gift (thus her proving that she can provide for him), but he's also feeding her. And like I said, the girl likes to Eat xD (And thus Mitch shows he can provide for her, too.)

It probably becomes a Thing at the restaurant later, where they'll sometimes have venison on the menu whenever Laura is feeling frisky and Extra Alpha. Maybe she always begins (ends?) the Full Moon with a hunt, and it's a full moon special kind of deal.

Sooo... Am I the only one who needs a Stiles & Jackson switched at birth AU? With Noah and Claudia being Jackson's bio parents and Peter and unnamed, still died in a car crash mom as Stiles' bio parents.

Post season 2 Jackson tries to find his biological father, and he finds out that Peter and his supposed bio mom were a thing at the time, the DNA he somehow got (Peter totally knows because he's Peter, but Jackson doesn't know that Peter thinks he's his bio son,) doesn't match his. So he eventually figures out that he and Stiles were the only babies at the hospital at the time, and, another definitely not illegally obtained DNA sample later, he somehow has to deal with being switched as a baby, never having been able to meet his mother as his mother, if and how to tell Stiles, while also dealing with Peter 'please stop asking me if I have my father's eyes' Hale.

STILES STILINSKI: Stiles Stilinski wasn't a human to begin with. Her father, Noah Stilinski, was actually a werewolf who kept ties with the Hales since Talia was the one keeping peace between all the supernaturals who would wonder in. Stiles was an excited little werewolf, becoming friends with Cora Hale and a few others. She learned how to control herself rather easily and when kindergarten rolled around, she acquired her first real human friend. Scott McCall. She was taught at a young age to keep the supernatural a secret. She wasn't allowed to tell her best friend anything. It didn't take long for her to see the effects of humans knowing about werewolves because a few years later, the Hale House was burned to the ground. Her werewolf friends who understood her were gone. Even worse was that, not even a year later, her human mother died of dementia. Claudia could have been turned but she hadn't wanted to. Stiles lost everything she knew and was left with her father and Scott. From that day on, the Stilinski's were in charge of keeping peace in Beacon Hills. Stiles took on some weight of it so her father wasn't alone. They were the protectors of Beacon Hills...Until Peter Hale came back and bit Scott McCall. 

ELENA STILINSKI: Not every Werewolf and Human relationship ended up in a werewolf child. Sometimes, you did get one that was human. Elena Stilinski was human for the first 21 years of her life. She learned of the supernatural and was even taught to fight herself against it. She was strong and quick and knew her way around a gun. She had decided to go to USC and thought she had left the supernatural behind her. Apparently not. On her twenty first birthday, she was taking her first legal drink with friends at a bar. On the walk home, a two minute walk to the dorms, they were attacked. A vampire with a vengeance for the Stilinski family for killing its nest attacked the group of friends. Elena succeed in killing it with a knife she kept with her but it was too late. The vampire bit her. The next night, she ran back to Beacon Hills. Her father was disappointed in himself for letting her leave but allowed Elena to stay. She know helped protect Beacon Hills as a vampire of the night. 

VERONICA GAJOS: Veronica Gajos was always in touch with nature. She never knew why flowers would grow under her touch or why the outdoors seemed to always speak to her. That wasn't under she turned sixteen and she was able to start a fire within her hand. It had caused her to scream when it first happened but her mother was quick to reassure her. Veronica was a witch. Her family had moved out of Beacon Hills, the hotspot of all things supernatural, in hopes that Veronica didn't have to speak. But she did. They didn't want to shut her magic down, knowing that could only lead to chaos so her mother decided to teach her how to control her magic. It wasn't easy, much less when they learned she had the power of resurgence. The ability to call anything back to life at will. She had a knack for it while for some witches, it took years to master. Now in her college years, she struggled to contain her magic at times. The abilities she had gained always were eager to used. Veronica had to be careful of this since she didn't want to be burned at the stake, something she quickly learned still happened to witches in this day in age. 

BENNY GAJOS: Benny, unlike her sister, never achieved the powers of a witch. It wasn't something that happened to every girl in the family. It might skip a generation or two and it just happened to skip right over Benny. It seemed though, that the supernatural wasn't going to skip right over her. Benny, while she wasn't a witch, could talk to ghosts. She was a psychic. Which many people didn't believe. Her parents, when they discovered this, were not overly thrilled but wanted to help their daughter in anyway they could. At first, it was only small. Ghosts would hover around her much more then most people but soon, she could actually see them. Physically and they were scary at times. Benny wanted to help every single one she had bumped into but some told stories that only freaked her out. It wasn't the best conversation starter at a date to say that she could see and talk to ghost. It seemed like the dead saw her as a beacon of hope. Of light that they clung onto like a magnet no matter what. 

HELENA ROMERO: Helena had always been very close to water. Which was a shock to many people since her mother died in a drowning incident. Helena always loved to swim and stand by the shore. Whenever she was close to the water, she would fiddle with her mother's necklace that she wore and she swore, she could almost hear her mother's voice. Her father encouraged her to swim. Taking her to the ocean as much as he could. That all changed when she was ten. Her friends had invited her to the pool and since the water had chlorine in it, she had taken off her mother's necklace. She didn't want to ruin it after all. They all jumped in and this time, everything was different. Helena's legs had turned into a tail the moment her feet hit the water. Everyone screamed and her father fished her out of the pool before anyone could call the police. They ran away and that's when Helena found out she was a mermaid. Different from a siren as they had beautiful voices but they didn't call to humans. They only pleased the human ear. They also had some control over water, even though it was less then Siren's. They had moved from Florida to California to hide their tracks and Helena learned to never take her necklace off since it was the only thing that kept her human. A gift from her, actually alive, mother who had to return to Atlantis since she couldn't stay human forever like Helena could.

Okay, just a short post season 2 au where Allison and Stiles are Peters bio kids Me half a year later, not having written a single word for this: Allison is Peter and Chris' daughter and has been kidnapped by the winter soldier on Gerard's orders. Stiles is Peter and Clint Barton's son, Clint doesn't know and Peter gave him up for adoption. Claudia is Bucky's niece. Tony Stark kind of adopted him after Hydra kidnapped him and tried to turn him into the next winter soldier (as do the other agents that got burned), but the others don't know about Stiles because of Reasons. Two years later Steve adopts the twenty something 'just a kid' that mindfucked his definitely not son so Tony gets the hell out of that shit show. Bruce still fucks off to space. Civil War happens. Tony may or may not temporarily die in Siberia for the sole purpose of having a you killed my father prepare to die moment. Laura Barton and kids get adopted by team Stark after the Rogues fuck off to Wakanda, so are the Langs and Hope. Tony is the proud, if unaware, father of 23 children. Jackson is Bruces bio kid. There are now 24. Derek is Noah Stilinski's son. Stiles and Peter Quill are related, Quill is related to neither Peter Hale nor Clint. There are rumours that Stiles time travelled and became Peter Q's dad. Depending on who you ask Allison is Howard's daughter because of a) time travel b) Howard having faked his death c) de-aging technology from Hydra d) alternate realities. It turns out that the Maximoffs are Gerard's kids. Thor, Loki and Bruce come back. Everyone regrets letting Stiles and Loki meet. They set the compound on fire in the first 20 minutes. M aria Stark is Claudia Stilinski's sister. Allison accidentally steals Kate Bishop's dog. They bond immediately. Stiles is terrified. There are at least 5 different ways that the Rogues come back, with varying degrees of redemption for certain members.
