✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
-Calling him Bill just to piss him off
-The two of you sat at the bar, you drank a beer despite hating the taste of it and Billy was drinking god knows what. The two of you were giggling about a guy's hairstyle at the bar.
“Goddamn he just needs to shave it off at that point” Billy laughed
“Now Bill that's not very mature of you” you said desperately trying to hold back laughter.
“Bill?” He said and poked your shoulder teasingly “Who are you calling Bill shithead” he laughed and began tickling you. Making you spill your drink on him.
“Oh you're really in for it now baby”
-Let's pretend this man is faithful to you despite past behavior
-He has such a soft spot for you, he teases you a lot and can lose his temper but he would do anything for you.
-You and Billy were joking around as you walked back to your apartment, and he accidentally shoved you a little too hard while laughing and you fell over.
“Ow Billy you ass” you said looking up at him
He kneeled down to check on you “shit I'm sorry, are you okay baby”
“I’m okay honey, just a scratch” you smiled and grabbed his tie to pull him in for a kiss.
-Really protective over you, if he sees someone at the bar making you uncomfortable, he’s there in a second.
“Is this jackass bothering you sugar?” He said, getting in the guy's face who had previously been getting too close to you.
“Yeah, he is, thanks Billy” you said sweetly.
-Always willing to talk to you about your problems, he's bad at comforting you but he'll crack jokes and hug you until you're laughing with him.
-He learns your favorite songs on the sax and surprises you with playing them.
-Your pet names for each other are not endearing besides the occasional 'honey' or 'baby' it mostly consists of teasing names like 'shithead' or 'asshole'
-He can be kind of an asshole and closed off at times, but he would do anything for you because he really does love you. He's just bad at showing it and regulating his emotions at times.

Here Comes The Sun
Billy Hargrove x AFAB! Reader
I didn't intend for the Billy one-shots I've posted so far to link up, I just really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the 'Sunshine' reader to his (let's be honest with ourselves) less than stellar personality. But evidently I'm hashing them into a series with a random timeline. Presenting the night you and Billy met.
Warnings: Mentions of domestic violence, mentions of abusive parent, explicit language, sex references, under-age drinking (under 21), smoking.
_______________________________________________
Billy is wasted.
It had been his sole purpose for the evening, spurred into self-destruct mode by yet another fight with his father, face stinging with the reminder of respect and responsibility.
He knew there was a party going on, gunning his Camaro through the winding, backwater, shithole roads of Hawkins, pulling up with a skidding flair to a boarded up building called ‘Benny’s Burgers’. The steady thumping bass emanating from inside was literal music to his ears, no plan except get drunk, maybe get his dick wet and forget about his shit life for a few hours.
Beer, vodka, tequila, it was all the same, burning his throat and stomach with numbing relief. Sweat poured off of him, chain smoking until he felt light-headed, some girl was sucking on his neck but she was faceless, nameless, he didn’t care, didn’t want to know.
He did a keg-stand, the cheers and shouts around him meant nothing, he didn’t need the praise of slack-jawed hicks. He staggered and lurched outside, away from the crowds, dizzy from the kegger. Get some air Billy, you fucking pussy he snarled at himself, punching his chest.
He drops heavily to sit on the damp grass, trying to light another cigarette but the lighter keeps drifting away from where he needs it to be.
“Piece of shit.” He mumbles, throwing the zippo away, letting himself fall backwards to lay flat, chest heaving.
_______________________________________________
He doesn’t remember passing out, dazedly brought round by something, no, someone tapping his face lightly.
“Hey - you ok?” The voice is soft, gentle.
Billy opens his eyes, vision bleary and hazed around the edges, your face floats in front of him, you seem concerned.
“‘Mfine.” He slurs, blinking rapidly trying to bring everything into focus.
“You sure about that?” You ask disbelievingly, cocking an eyebrow at his current state. He somehow pushes himself up into a sitting position, you’re kneeling down next to him not seeming to mind the wet grass on your bare legs.
“Heeyy - you’re cute, name’s Billy.” Billy smiles, trying to turn on the charm, thinking about the part of the evening where he could get his dick wet.
“Y/n, and you are very drunk.” You laugh, the sound echoing off the trees.
“I’m not as d-drunk as the other people.” He gestures haphazardly to the building, which now he really looked, seemed oddly quiet and empty.
“Uh - pretty much everyone has gone home, it’s like 4am, you must have been passed out for a while.” You place a delicate hand on his knee, patting it sympathetically, a small smile playing about your lips.
“Fu-ck.” Billy hiccups, he hauls himself up on bandy legs stumbling immediately, you step forward on instinct wrapping an arm about his waist to steady him, his muscular frame heavy. “S’ why’re you still here?” He asks, not remembering seeing you at the party, because he definitely would have remembered you.
“My friend called me to pick her up.” You sigh, pointing towards your car, he can see a blonde girl slumped in the rear passenger seat. “Can I give you a ride home?” You offer gently.
Billy shakes his head, the momentum throwing him into a dizzy lurch again, you press your other hand to his chest bracing him securely.
“No - I can’t go home.” He mumbles
“Well I’m certainly not letting you drive anywhere.” You insist, steering him towards your vehicle.
“My dad’ll kill me.” He sighs with a mirthless laugh, ignoring the sudden burn in his eyes and the hiss of ‘fucking cry-baby’ in his head.
You chuckle, helping him to perch on the bonnet of your car, hands hovering in case he slips.
“You’re just a little drunk I'm sure your dad wo-”
“No - no you don’t understand - he’ll k-kill me.” Billy says seriously, but the words still sound a little mashed together, he notices your concerned frown again and it makes his heart feel tight.
“Ok not home, but I’m not leaving you out here by yourself either.” You say firmly, hands on your hips, foot tapping against the gravel of the parking lot. “You gonna murder me in my sleep if I take you home with me?” You ask, eyes narrowed, finger pointing at his chest accusingly but there’s the hint of a smile playing about your pretty lips.
“Murder y-? Y/n, I don’t think I could find my dick to take a piss right now.” Billy says honestly, and you let out a bell-like laugh.
“I’m holding you to that Billy.” You warned teasingly. “Get in, I need to drop Sleeping Beauty home first.” You say nodding towards your friend who is snoring heavily, face smushed up against the rear window.
_______________________________________________
Billy drifts in and out of a doze as you drive, the window rolled down just in case, cold night air feeling nice on his hot face, you were singing along under your breath to some tape but he wasn’t really registering the words, maybe something about an octopus or some shit.
“Billy, I’m gonna take Cassidy inside ok?” You say gently, tapping him on the shoulder, jerking him back to the present, he nods sleepily, sinking further into the seat. Despite his drunken state, he still watches you carefully as you half carry your wasted friend up the steps and into her house, he probably should have gone to help but he definitely would be more of a hindrance in his condition.
He jolts at the sound of the car door opening, and the engine starting, having drifted off again.
“She ‘k?” He asks, rubbing at his eyes.
“Who? Cass? Yeah she’ll be fine, apart from the hangover.” You laugh. “We’ll be home in like ten minutes, I live just a little off of Brantford, you?”
“Cherry.”
You both lapse into a comfortable silence, Billy is close to nodding off again when the volume of music increases slightly, rousing him once more.
“Sorry,” You say, smiling sheepishly, withdrawing your hand from the dial “it’s my favourite.”
‘-Little darlin’, it’s been a long, cold lonely winter
Little darlin’, it feels like years since it’s been here -’
Something stirs in Billy’s sluggish memory as you carry on singing softly, it’s The Beatles, the tape you’re listening to, he knows that now but there’s something else.
“Mom -.” He breathes, the word escaping his mouth before he can stop it, you glance at him curiously as he sits up straighter cranking the volume up again to listen properly.
‘-Little darlin’, it seems like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun
Here come the sun-’
“- and I say, it’s alright…” You both finish off the lyric together, Billy blinking hard, willing the tears away.
“Wouldn’t have you pegged as a Beatles fan.” You say gently.
“This was my mom’s favourite song - I’d forgotten.” Billy says roughly, sniffing hard, memories of distant sunlit days, the sound of her shimmering laughter and the cresting of the ocean against the sandy shore crashing down over him like he was caught in a swell.
“Where is she? Your Mom?” You ask cautiously.
“Away from all the shit.” Billy says simply, effectively ending the conversation.
“You want me to turn it off?” You reach for the dial, but Billy catches your hand.
“Leave it on - please.” The please is whispered, the word moving unfamiliarly in his mouth, you give a small nod, neither of you dropping the hand of the other.
You pull in front of a modest house, not unlike his own as the song comes to a close, shutting off the engine, sending him a slightly nervous smile.
“Still good on the not murdering me front?” You ask, and he laughs, feeling a little bereft when you drop his hand to get out of the car.
“Scouts honour.” He hums, following you up the path on slightly steadier feet.
“I highly doubt that you were ever in the scouts.” You laugh.
“Looks can be deceiving sunshine.”
He notices the way you flush slightly and how your fingers fumble with your key in the lock, in response to the nickname, and decides he likes it a lot.
“My parents are pretty heavy sleepers, we just need to be careful on the stairs, they creak a bit” You whisper, toeing off your sneakers, taking Billy’s hand once more and leading him up the stairs, both of you stifling giggles when the tenth step groans and the snores of presumably your father kick up a notch.
You point Billy in the direction of the bathroom, and then wordlessly step into your room leaving the door open for him.
Clearly your parents have an en-suite as this obviously serves as your bathroom, soft, sweet peach like perfume hanging in the air, makeup littering the counter, he chuckles at the Aquanet perched on the sink. Billy takes a much needed piss, sighing in relief, he notes he must like you because he’s bothered to wipe the seat across knowing his aim is still dogshit from the alcohol. Washing his hands at the sink, the unforgiving bathroom light and mirror lays it all bare, bloodshot eyes, the curls of his forehead damp with sweat, the shiner on his cheek courtesy of Neil blooming purple. He splashes cool water over his face and neck in an attempt to wash some of the clamminess away, jumping slightly at the soft knock on the door. You’re on the other side when he opens it, in an oversized Mickey Mouse nightie that rests just above your knees, you look fucking adorable and he feels his heart tighten again.
“Hi, I just wanna brush my teeth.” You say softly.
“Uh - sure, yeah - go ahead.” He murmurs, skin feeling electrified when your arms brush as you move past.
“I won’t be long, make yourself comfortable.” You whisper.
Your room is softly lit by a small pink shaded lamp, the walls a lilac with green ivy leaves around the border, they almost look hand painted and Billy wonders if you did it yourself. He takes in the general clutter with a smile, a battered but very loved looking Snoopy stuffie sat on a wicker basket chair, polaroid photos of you and your friends over the years stuck to the wall above your bed in the shape of a heart.
“You could have got in the bed you know, can’t sleep standing up, well, unless you’re a Zebra.” Your voice cuts through the silence, carefully closing the door, smiling softly at Billy.
“I didn’t know which side you preferred.” He says awkwardly, internally wondering when he became a fourteen year old boy again.
You breeze past unbothered, settling on the left side, pulling the comforter down for him on the right. This is weird right? Sharing a bed with a literal stranger, not that he’s never done that before, but this feels different, intimate.
“I can take the floor you know, you don’t have to -”
“Billy, would you just get in please, so we can go to sleep.” You press, turning the light off with one last expectant glance in his direction. Billy takes his jeans off as they’re still damp from the wet grass, before sliding under the covers, body taut and on alert keeping himself to the furthest edge of the bed.
“Do I smell?” You ask quietly but he can tell you’re teasing, he feels you shift onto your side so you’re facing him. “Billy, I know we only met like an hour ago, but if you ever need a place to stay - away from the shit - you only need to ask.” Voice completely sincere.
He rolls over to face you in the dark, hand searching for yours in unspoken thanks, he expects you to pull away but you only return his grip, thumb tracing along his own.
“Goodnight Billy.” You whisper.
“Goodnight sunshine.”

Billy Hargrove x Amab Reader
cw. bottom! billy x dom! male reader
i wanted to write a steve fanfic but this was requested more 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are many reasons why Billy hates Hawkins, Indiana. Being uprooted and dragged away from his life back in Cali to this place is in his top 5 reasons why his life is shitty. All his friends are thousands of miles away, and he’s stuck here alone, surrounded by the local hicks, high school cows, and forced to spend increasing amounts of time with Max, and his pathetic excuse of a family.
It wouldn’t be so bad if he could get his rocks off every now and then, but in Hawkins, the queer population is exactly zero. And for good reason. You wanna keep breathing, you don’t mention the fact that you might have a proclivity for dick.
He makes do with his left hand as best he can.
There is one good thing about this pathetic excuse of a town though. Y/N. Big-dicked Y/N. Billy would know, he’s ingrained the glances of Y/N’s dick he gets to have in the Gym showers into his mind. He’s only allowed a glance or two though. Everyone knows it’s perfectly normal for guys to check each other out in the showers. You’re just comparing merchandise. Billy does more than compare merchandise. He’s not an idiot though, he’s subtle about it. And Y/N?
Billy likes his merchandise.
Y/N is fucking hung. In the showers, whilst he’s soaping up Billy gets a glance or two at him and Y/N even flaccid, is long and thick. The first time he got a look, he knew he was fucked. And sure enough, that dick has been the star of every jerk-off fantasy Billy’s had since. Billy can admit to himself that he looks forward to those one or two glances he gets to have of Y/N’s cock a little too much. It’s pathetic as shit, but not much else Billy can do in this town.
Today he’ll get another chance to catch a few glimpses of Y/N in all his glory. Or he thought he would, but when the guys hit the showers after practice, Y/N didn’t appear to be joining them. Great. He’ll just have to survive with images from last week then. He takes his time showering, stays longer than the other guys, everyone leaving till it’s just Billy and the weak water pressure. Doesn’t notice the new figure walking in until he starts his shower beside Billy.
It’s Y/N, naturally. He’s under the water, letting the water flow through his hair and over his face and isn’t acknowledging Billy’s even there. Billy’s heart gives a little jump and he realizes this is the perfect opportunity. He stares, no one there to see him do it and Y/N’s got his eyes closed. So, Billy lets his eye drag up his body. From his calves to thighs, right to that tight ass, across his lean torso and then down to his cock and balls.
“Like what you see, Hargrove?” Y/N teases.
FUCK, Billy thinks, “You wish, Y/N” Billy scoffs looking away, but Christ, he can feel his face heat, his fucking ears burning, those traitorous bastards.
When he looks over at Y/N again, he’s smirking at him, washing over his torso with soap.
“You’re not as subtle as you think you are.” Y/N remarks.
“The fuck is that supposed to mean, Y/N?” Billy retorts, and shoves Y/N’s shoulder, stepping into his space. Billy’s heart is gonna beat straight out of his chest.
“It means, I’ve seen you looking before Hargrove, and not like how the other guys look. You look and for a split second, your face changes.” Y/N smirks at him.
Billy’s gonna fucking kill him, his breathing is increasing and he’s tensing up, waiting for Y/N to make the accusation. “Yeah? How does my face change, hmm?” Billy looks Y/N square in the eye when he says it, daring him to take this any further.
Y/N’s mocking smirk turns straight into a grin and he leans closer, Billy swears he sees him glance down at his lips for a second. “You get this look, of pure want” Y/N whispers, and then he kisses Billy, plants his lips firmly against his.
Billy’s whole body locks up and his arms shoot up to grab Y/N by his upper arms, planning to push him the fuck away and take a swing most likely, but Y/N stops kissing him all at once, and stares at Billy as he stares back, in mild shock.
“You gonna kiss me back, or just stand there stock-still?” Y/M says, smiling at him as if Billy’s the sweetest thing he’s ever seen, and Billy’s freaking the fuck out right now. “Are you messing with me, Y/N? Cause if this is some kinda joke, I will bash your head in against these tiles” Billy warns.
Y/N leans in and whispers “Not a joke”, before planting his lips on Billy’s again. Billy relaxes, kisses back, and nearly melts into Y/N. Slides his arms up and around Y/N’s shoulders, gets his hand in that hair as he deepens the kiss. Opens his mouth and pushes his tongue against Y/N’s. Y/N wraps his arms around Billy’s lower back and pulls him closer. Their bodies collide and Billy feels his cock meeting Y/N’s, and fuck that feels good. They pull back, panting into each other’s mouths.
Billy glances down, sees Y/N’s half-hard against his hip and fuck, he’s huge. Blood rushes to Billy’s cock at the sight of it, and he knows what he wants. Has wanted it from the moment he saw Y/N in the showers. “You ever been sucked off by a guy before, Y/N?” Billy whispers.
“Fuck, Billy, no…not by a guy” Y/N pants out, his pupils wide.
“You wanna be?” Billy says, licking his lips.
Y/N nods, “Yeah, please…?”. That’s all Billy needs, he drops to his knees in front of Y/N, the tiles hard beneath him. Y/N’s cock is a fucking work of art, long and thick, curving upward. Billy takes a hold of him, feels the weight of him in his hand, the girth. And looks up at Y/N through his eyelashes.
“Fuck, look at you,” Y/N says, pushing his hand through Billy’s hair, practically petting him. Billy smirks and then licks straight up from the base of Y/N’s cock to the head before taking the head into his mouth and swirling his tongue. Y/N groans above him, and Billy can taste the precum that’s gathered at the tip. Gripping Y/N’s hips, Billy works on taking him deeper, bobbing his head and using his tongue to swirl around the head of Y/N’s cock. Billy loves this, hasn’t had it for weeks since moving to Hawkins and he plans to make the most of this opportunity.
Y/N is panting above him, making all these soft noises. Staring down at Billy like he can’t believe he’s real. “God, Billy” he pants out and Billy would smirk if his mouth wasn’t so full. He’s good at this, knows it, but Y/N is the biggest he’s ever had. Billy’s determined to make this the best head Y/N has ever gotten though. So, he closes his eyes and takes as much of Y/N into as throat as he can. Concentrating on not gagging and feeling the head of Y/N’s cock hit the back of his throat and pushes further.
Y/N lets out a noise that’s close to a shout and Billy opens his eyes and pulls off, panting. “Gotta stay quiet for me, Y/N. Can’t have anyone hearing” Billy says, and he continues to mouth at the head of Y/N’s cock. “Yeah, yeah, I’ll be quiet” Y/N pants out. “You’re just, like, really good at that” Y/N says with a huff of laughter. This time, Billy does smirk, “Yeah, I know” and then promptly swallows Y/N down again. Y/N makes a cut off sound and Billy looks up as he’s bobbing his head to see Y/N biting into his fist
Billy can tell he’s gonna blow soon, so he really goes for it. Closing his eyes, he bobs his head faster, swirls his tongue around the head of Y/N’s cock and concentrates on getting as much of him into his mouth as he can manage. He’s got a pretty good rhythm going when Y/N’s grip in his hair starts getting tight, “Billy I’m gonna cum” Y/N manages to get out between the pants and small noises he’s making. Billy’s gives him all he’s got, increases his speed as much as he can, jaw aching and lungs burning until Y/N suddenly grips his hair tight and pushes his cock as far into Billy’s throat as it’ll go and then coming. Billy gags, grip tightening on Y/N’s thighs as he struggles to swallow the cum filling his mouth. Manages most of it but some leaks out past his lips. When Y/N finally comes down from his climax, he pulls out of Billy’s mouth.
Billy’s keeps his eyes closed and pants for air. Then Y/N is gripping his chin and bending over to lick the cum from the side of his mouth before plunging his tongue into Billy’s mouth. Billy’s too tired to do much of anything, but slowly kiss back, letting Y/N explore his mouth with his tongue. Can likely taste himself, and Billy’s own cock throbs with the thought.
Eventually Y/N pulls back, and Billy opens his eyes to see Y/N regarding him. “You alright?” Y/N asks, and Billy huffs out a laugh.
“I’m so good, Y/N,” Billy says, still laughing. Y/N smiles at him before his eyes travel lower to Billy’s own painfully hard cock. “You want help with that?” He asks looking hungrily at Billy. Billy’s surprised but also fucking delighted, he thought Y/N would awkwardly thank him and then leave Billy in his own state of painful arousal. “What, you offering to help, handsome?” Billy says, raising an eyebrow at Y/N.
Y/N looks up at the two shower heads still spraying now, lukewarm water, before shutting them both off. “Lie back,” He says gesturing with his hands for Billy to lie down.
“On these fucking tiles? I don’t need fungus growing on my balls, Y/N.” Billy says, cause really, is he dumb?
“Yeah okay, fair enough, uh,” Y/N looks around before he seems to come to an idea. “Here, over here then,” he says offering his hand for Billy to take in getting up, which he does. Y/N leads him to the benches, between the row of lockers in the changing rooms. “Lie down.” Y/N instructs.
Billy doesn’t usually enjoy people telling him what to do, but he's excited for what Y/N has planned for him, so he lays back on the bench. Y/N smiles before planting his knees between Billy’s on the bench and bending over to hover his face above Billy’s dick. And holy fuck, Billy isn’t going to last long. “I’ve, uh, never actually done this before so, um,” Y/n mutters looking up at him.
“Yeah, figured as much Y/N, but I’m about two seconds away from blowing my load so you won’t need to do much,” Billy says, pushing his right hand through Y/N hair. “Right,” Y/N says, laughing a little before he licks right up Billy’s cock and takes the head in his mouth. “Fuck,” Billy exclaims, before biting down hard into his bottom lip to quiet himself.
Y/N was by no means an expert, but the mere sight of him looking up at Billy whilst he bobbed up and down had Billy’s gut tightening, and his orgasms rising fast. But fuck, Billy doesn't want this to end so fast, so he pants out a breath and tries to quell his orgasm.
Y/N was taking more of him into his mouth, closing his eyes with a look of concentration. His mouth is so wet and hot around Billy, and better than Billy ever imagined. “Fuck, Y/N, you’re so fucking hot,” Billy says, stroking his fingers through Y/N hair.
Y/N hums, and then did something unexpected, takes his right hand from Billy’s hip and slides his index and middle finger down Billy’s perineum to stroke them over Billy’s hole. Billy gasps, his toes curling. He cums so fast and hard, he doesn't even have time to warn Y/N, whose eyes widen when cum hits his tongue.
Billy can't even stop the noises spilling from his mouth, his orgasm blazing through him, and he can only hold on as Y/N continues to suck him through it. When the last wave of it hit, and Y/N pulls off, Billy feels so blissed out and relaxed, he doesn't think he ever wants to get up off this bench.
Opening his eyes, Y/N was looking at him with amusement in his eyes. “What’s so funny, Y/N?” Billy says, narrowing his eyes and daring Y/N to say something to ruin all of this. Y/N laughs a little, “Think I did a pretty good job for my first time” he says, smirking at Billy, clearly noticing how blissed out Billy looks.
Billy smirks back at him, “Don’t let it go to your head Y/N, I haven’t gotten any in weeks since moving to this shithole” Billy states, finally sitting up.
Y/N looks at him in confusion, “You have like, a new girl at your side every week, Billy” Y/N says, frowning confusedly.
Billy wanted to laugh, Y/N really wasn’t the sharpest, “I just came at the feeling of your fingers on my hole, Y/N, you really think I enjoy my time with those cows?” Billy says, laughing at Y/N’s face when it clicks in his mind.
“Oh, so what, you’re just keeping up appearances?” Y/N says, laughing a little.
“Yeah, don’t know if you’ve noticed but being a fag isn’t really celebrated around here,” Billy says, which is true for pretty much everywhere, but Billy knows in Hawkins his life would only get so much worse if it got out. Or the short period of time between when it got out and when his Dad found out and promptly murdered him.
Jesus, wonderful post-sex thoughts Y/N’s inspiring. Getting up and grabbing his towel, Billy quickly dries off. Y/N doing the same at his locker. “You know, my parents won’t be around later if you maybe, wanna come around?” Y/N says. Billy glances over at Y/N, what was he offering here? “You looking for round two, Y/N?” Billy smirks. Y/N rolls his eyes, smiling and says, “No, I’m offering to braid your hair and paint your nails.”
“Well why didn’t ye say so! See you later then, Y/N!” Billy says as he finishes dressing, sauntering past Y/N, as he felt his ass get smacked. Maybe Hawkins wasn't so bad.

Pairing: PlusSize!Fem!Reader x Billy Hargrove
Rating: E - MINORS!DNI
CW & WC: 5.4k — body image but like, you take it like a champ for the most part. Slightly jealous billy? Reader teases tf out of him. Smut! Oral (f & m receiving), dirty talk, p in v. can i get an amen for friends to lovers trope? OOC for billy. (Cross posted from my ao3)
Summary: You saw Billy for who he really was… a boy who was severely damaged and just needed to feel like he was loved somehow, even if that love was in the form of fake friendships from the majority of the student population and easy girls looking to know what California tasted like. Or the one where you are Billy’s only real friend and you guys fall in love once he finally sees how hot you can look.
Tumblr media
When Billy moved to Hawkins with the rest of his dysfunctional family, it wasn’t hard to notice how unamused he was with all of it. Disdain was shown by Billy when it had become apparent that he would have to drive Max to and from school everyday. Billy was disturbed by how many hicks openly walked around this shit hole town. Furthermore, he was impassioned with how much pressure he put himself under, day in and day out, to make himself seem macho to everyone else who would never see what happens behind his front door.
Then he met you. You had been able to create amusement in the dull evenings in this shit hole town, around all these hicks, without being bothered by how much he projected his own insecurities that he had never admitted. All the while making driving Max around worth it because you chipped in a few bucks for gas here and there just because you could. You saw Billy for who he really was… a boy who was severely damaged and just needed to feel like he was loved somehow, even if that love was in the form of fake friendships from the majority of the student population and easy girls looking to know what California tasted like.
Neither one of you really remembers how your friendship was formed. If it had been like the movies you’ve watched, he would have never given you the time of day to begin with. Because if your life was one of those movies, it would be like that one scene when the least desired girl walks past the lead role with heart eyes while he’s walking to his insanely hot girlfriend. The same girlfriend that’s using cigarettes and dick as meal replacements. Because that’s not you… and it's not hard to see. You’ve always been the heavy girl and you’ve come to accept that.
“Hey Billy…” You start to say, flipping through a magazine while he wrenches on something under the hood of his car. He doesn’t stop what he’s doing, just grunts as a way to acknowledge that he’s listening. “Cassidy Wymen, ya’know the only sophomore in advanced bio this year? She was crying in the bathroom today because she said you had turned her down on account of her boobs being too small.” A chuckle leaves your lips as you recount looking right at her chest when she had said what Billy allegedly told her. When you look up, Billy meets your eyes and wipes his hands on the grease rag.
“Yeah? Well, tough tits.” You both laughed at his joke, but Billy continued on with what he needed to say. “I don’t know Y/N… I mean, we’re seniors now. I guess my tastes are changing a little bit. I’m feeling more like a grown man - like a real grown ass man - so it feels eh… weird… to be feeling on tits a boy would be feelin’ up on.” Billy’s nonchalant nature of his explanation stirred more questions than you had anticipated. When you brought it up, it was because you wanted to tell Billy to at least be nicer to the girls he knew are less experienced in the art of awkward high school hookup culture. It’s not even like you knew from first hand experience… Billy had just explained everything to you so that you wouldn’t get your heart broken.
“Wait, so you’re saying that a rack like Regan Convery’s is now more your speed?” You asked. It was no secret that Regan was working with less than a D-cup, but her waist and rib cage to breast ratio definitely made them look bigger than they actually were. Billy just shrugged and furrowed his eyebrows.
“Yeah, I guess. I mean she’s, like, probably the only one at our school that’s gonna be sizing up a cup size before the second coming.” Billy jokes. You both chuckle at his joke. Yeah, but I know mine are bigger, You think to yourself. Having to attend gym class and get dressed in front of some of the student body, you may or may not have compared your body to your peers’. They always had thinner arms, flatter stomachs, and narrower thighs… but you always had bigger boobs.
“Aye, when you find out who has bigger boobs than Regan, make sure she doesn’t have braces. You don’t need a repeat of the Amanda incident.” You say as you start walking towards your house. On the days Billy works on his car, you’re glad that you live on the same street as him because you know there’s no way in hell he’d drive his baby anywhere in such a trying time.
As you’re about to open your front door to your house, you hear Billy holler back, “Dear lord, Y/N.” And you close the door with a chuckle.
A few days later, you and Billy decided to sneak into your parent’s alcohol cabinet late in the evening. To be fair, it was a Saturday night where he didn’t need to take Max anywhere and your parents were out of town on an impromptu honeymoon redo. It was clearly the only logical thing to do.
“Alright, Y/N… I can’t be the only one getting action around here. I mean, your parents are probably even boning more than you are.” Billy half yells, passing the bottle to you . A fake gagging noise from him making that comment about your parents makes him wholeheartedly laugh. You take a swig from the bottle and lean back, letting your arm support your new position.
“First of all, gross. Second of all, I probably would be fucking someone if there was someone to fuck. I mean, c’mon Billy… get real. I don’t know a single person who wants to have sex with me.” You shake your head at the last few words and pass the bottle back to Billy.
“I know someone…” Your ears perk up. “Daniel Williams said he’d totally bang you if- ah, don’t worry. Never mind… he was being a dick about it.” Billy stammered. He busied himself from your stare by crawling over to your record player and starting up one of the vinyls he brought over.
“What the fuck, Billy. You can’t just say shit like ‘Ah, don’t worry… Nevermind..’ and expect me to just be content.” You said while mocking him with a funny voice.
“Y/N, I don't sound like that.” He said. You gave him a look that could only be translated as ‘Hurry up and tell me already’. Billy sighed, sat back in front of you on the floor, and handed you the bottle before he started talking again. “Look, he was seriously being a dick about it and I already told him that if he ever said this to you, we’d both knock his teeth in… but he had said that he’d be totally down to fuck if you’d be down to keep it in secret…” You were confused at first, because that’s what Billy did with more than half the girls he slept with. So you didn’t understand why he was so upset with Daniel for saying the same thing, until you heard the next thing he said, “… because you’re shaped like the icebox in his basement.”
Billy fully anticipated for you to be hurt by this, so he was nervous when you started to cackle. Tears were forming in your eyes from how hard you were laughing at this point and Billy was starting to look uncomfortable. “Oh Billy, that is the funniest thing I’ve heard since you told me you were going to stop smoking.” You sighed once your laughing fit calmed itself down.
“How’s that funny to you? I swear, if you were any other girl, you’d probably cry from how fucked up that was.” Billy shakes his head, unable to wrap his head around the thought of a girl laughing at being made fun of.
“Well, duh, because it’s not true. It just looks true because I wear baggy shirts.” You explain. He looks at you with a raised eyebrow. “I don’t normally wear clothes that show my figure because old fucks can’t mind their business.” You get up, walk to your closet, and start looking for that one dress you had bought for your trip to Texas last summer. Walking into the hallway for privacy, you quickly change into it. It fits a little bit tighter than it did last year, but this will just help prove your point more. Your boobs fill it in more, even having a little overflow. The dress does wonders to camouflage your stomach pouch and accentuate the inward curve of your waist that leads to the outward curves of your hips and ass.
Before walking back into your room, you peek your head through the door to Billy who had now moved to sit on your bed. “Alright dude, close your eyes and then I’ll tell you when to open them,” You say. Billy rolls his eyes, but complies. Walking into your room slowly, you start to feel a little nervous. Billy has never seen you dressed like this. It’s not like you’re hoping he’d find you attractive or anything, but you definitely would be pissed if he said something fucked up. At the end of the day, he really is the only person you value the opinion of. When you’re finally standing right in front of him, you poke him right in the forehead and he opens his eyes.
“Goddamn, Y/N…” He stammers. Billy sits up straight and shifts his eyes around your body, quickly scanning over the many parts that appeal to him. You turn around to your vanity to find the bottle. Grabbing it, you catch the reflection of Billy behind you staring right at your ass. The dress was just barely long enough to cover everything. You cough a little after taking a swig, causing you and Billy to lock eyes through the mirror. “I mean, uh, you look very nice.” Billy says, then clears his throat.
Turning around to walk back to him, you ask, “Do you think I look like Daniel’s fucking icebox?” The nervous part of you doesn’t want to know what his answer is, but the part that values his opinion - and tipsy part - needs to hear what he thinks. He just shakes his head and grabs the bottle from your grasp. Taking a sip, then placing it on the floor by his feet, Billy just stares you right in the eyes.
“Nah, Y/N… I’d have to say you look like… like…” The intensity of his eyes on you becomes too much to handle, so you turn away with heat rushing to your face. He quickly grabs you by the hand to stop you from walking away from him, and says, “You look, like, really hot. I’m sorry, I just didn’t know how to just say it. Y/N, c’mon just look at me for a second.” He coaxes and then continues, “As your friend, that happens to be a guy, I’d totally bang you if you didn’t already know I was a man-whore.” Laughter filled the room from both of you.  The feeling of the alcohol started to become more prominent in your body and you grabbed onto Billy’s shoulders to maintain your balance. Billy’s hand instinctively went to your waist to support your swaying. Taking the opportunity, Billy looked where his hand had landed and soaked in the way it looked around your curves. As if his feet had a mind of their own, he stepped closer to you so that now the both of you had the opportunity to smell the alcohol radiating off of yourselves.
“Hey Y/N, I think I found out who has bigger tits than Regan. Can you just do me a favor and smile?” He asks. You chuckle and push at his chest to gain distance. Walking back to your closet, you say over your shoulder, “You already know I don’t have braces, you fuckhead.” You start skimming through your clothes in your closet to keep yourself busy. There’s no way you’re about to let Billy see how much he has you blushing from his little joke.
“You should wear something nice and tight to school on Monday and make Daniel cream his pants.” Billy suggested. You pondered that scenario for a few seconds, but shook your head.
“If I’m going to wear something like that, it's not going to be for Daniel.” You turn around and see Billy had taken a seat on your bed again, but this time he had made himself more comfortable with your pillows. Even taking one to put on his lap so that he could rest his arms more comfortably. Your brain is fuzzy from the alcohol and from seeing Billy so comfortable, so you cross your arms and rest your weight on one leg - cocking your hip to that side in the process - to be able to give yourself time to think of what you were going to say next. But as you watch Billy’s eyes scan the way your tits squeeze closer to each other, and the way he shifts the pillow in his lap, the lightbulb in your head lights up. No, it doesn’t just light up, it bursts. Your plan forms so quickly in your head, you barely have time to process it before Billy can meet your eyes again. You’re not going to wear something nice and tight for Daniel, no. Not at all. You’re going to wear something nice and tight for Billy and he’s not gonna know what hit him.
You give yourself one last one over in front of the hallway mirror before heading out the front door. It’s Monday morning and Billy should be waiting outside with Max at his car. You’re following your plan, fully hoping it would work, but also feeling like it might fail. You’re wearing a denim skirt you know is long enough to not get you dress coded, but short enough to catch Billy’s attention and one of his shirts that you tied in a knot at your waist to show off your hips. Walking out to the car, Max and Billy look up at you.
“Holy shit Y/N, you look hot!” Max says in disbelief. She climbs into the backseat as you patiently wait to get into the passenger. You thank her as you close the door. Billy takes a second, but he finally gets into the car and roars it to life. Being dressed like this, Billy can’t help but notice the way your boobs jiggle at every bump and pothole in the roads. When you’re too distracted talking to Max, he tilts his rear view mirror to align with your chest so he has a better view of them. Within no time, he’s pulling into the middle school’s side of the parking lot. Knowing that you’d have to get out for Max, you deliberately put on a show of arching your back while climbing out the car.
“Bye Max, I’ll see you later” You say as she skates away. Climbing back into the car, you look over to him already staring right at you. “What? Is something the matter?” You ask Billy.
“No, I just thought you weren’t going to do this. Ya’know, I thought you weren’t going to fuck with Daniel like this.” He said, his eyes shifting back to the front of the car so that he could drive the both of you to his parking space.
“Oh, I’m not. I just thought it would be a cool idea to see who else would be totally down to fuck me and not want to keep it in secret.” You replied right as he was parking. You quickly get out of the car and start walking to the building, leaving him scrambling to get out of the car. You holler over your shoulder at him, “If you hear anything, tell me. I want names and specifics!” Saying this, you hope it would make Billy get in his head. But there’s only one way to find out… and you’d have to wait until the end of the day when school was out to see if it worked.
The whole ride back to your neighborhood was quiet. Well, except for Max. “I don’t know how, but there were kids in my school that heard about you Y/N. The first rumor was that you were a new kid, then the next rumor was that you had plastic surgery over the weekend. Ah, you should have heard it.” She said as she leaned forward so that she could be between you and Billy. You just chuckled and left her to her thoughts. Billy stayed quiet…  Getting out of the car, you ask Billy if he had gotten the notes during the part of history class that you ‘totally spaced out’ during. “Yeah, here’s my notebook. Just make sure to grab it and bring it in the morning.”
“Wait no, just come over really quickly. I can just jot it down and hand it right over.” You counter. He stares at you for a second before walking in the direction of your house with you.
“Thank you, Billy.” You say, drawing out the end of his name. The both of you walk up the stairs with you leading the way. You make it a point to sway your hips with every step.
“So… Do I have any admirers?” You ask once you sit down at your desk. You won't tell Billy this, but you have all the notes you needed from today’s lesson. In fact, you have more than he does. You just wanted to get him alone. He lays down on your bed with a grunt. If he had a choice, he wouldn’t want you to ask that question at all. In frustration, he closes his eyes as he lays.
“Yeah, you do.” He says. His short answer doesn't satisfy you, so you hum in encouragement for him to continue while you pretend to copy his notes. “I fucking caught Steve Harrington catching flies with his mouth during second period. Then in third period, in history, I saw our teacher fix his pants about a gazillion times. I mean, what a pervert…” He huffs. He’s clearly getting irritated recalling how your history teacher reacted. “…And then in the locker room, oh god they wouldn’t shut the fuck up. Tommy and Derek kept going on and on about how they’d just love to ‘taste that sweetness’ and watch your boobs boun- ya’know what? Forget it. They were saying very distasteful things about you.” He sighed. Hearing Billy say distasteful and boobs in the same sentence was unheard of so, naturally, you turn to him in a questioning nature.
“You’re mad at them for being distasteful? Billy, I’m almost certain you’ve said something along those lines about many girls.” You say. Standing up and walking over to your bed, Billy continues to rest his eyes. He doesn't notice your presence until you sit on the edge next to him. “Why are you mad about it, Billy?” You ask.
“Am not. My head just hurts from idiots.” He replies. But he won’t meet your eyes, so you know he’s lying. “Nuh uh, Billy. You’re full of shit right now. Why’re you so bothered about it?” You continue to nudge him with your hand and encourage him to tell you what’s got him so pissed. “Oh, come on Billy. Just tell me!” You push on his chest and nudge his side with your hips. Your smile drops when he snaps and finally spills.
“I’m just- ugh! I just don't know how to feel because when they were saying how they’d just love to see how your big tits bounced as you ride their cocks, I couldn’t help but think the same thing… and it's too much. I’ve never thought about you that way…” You stand up from where you had been sitting and fully turn your body to look at him. “… Y/N, I’m sorry.” He sits up to the edge of the bed so that he could meet you eye to eye more easily. Billy dons the look of shame as he bows his head. But you don't let him look that way for long. Slowly, mustering up every ounce of courage you had, you placed your hand on the back of his head and guide it so that he was looking back up at you.
“What if I wanted you to think of me like that?” You asked. Confused, Billy cocks his head to the side. You ask again, “What if I wore this outfit, specifically with your shirt, so that you would think of me like that? I know how you were looking at me when I showed you my dress…” Pushing him backwards by his shoulders, you crawled onto your bed so that your legs sat on either side of his hips. Out of instinct, Billy placed his hands on your hips. Billy was too stunned by what you were doing and saying to answer you. Leaning down to get closer, you whisper, “I know you were hiding a boner that night. You totally want to bone me, huh?”
“So what if I do?” He counters in a defensive tone. You lean back up, shifting your weight around to find a more comfortable angle for your hips, and ask, “So why don’t you?” Within a matter of seconds, Billy’s grip on your hips tighten and he flips the both of you over so that he is now hovering over you. Your legs find a comfortable position around his hips as he balances most of his weight on his right arm with his other hand still grabbing your hip.
“Do you actually want this, Y/N?” You nod your head and let out a quiet ‘yes’, not trusting your voice. Being able to feel the weight of his hips pressed against your groin was intoxicating, so you roll your hips up to gain more pleasure. Billy groans and drops his face to the crook of your neck, placing sloppy kisses and lightly nipping at the skin. “All day, I’ve been thinking about how fucking oblivious I’ve been to what you look like… how much time I’ve wasted not being able to know what your curves feel like… not knowing what this juicy cunt tastes like…” He trails off as the hand he had on your hip moves under your skirt, not stopping his attention to your neck. A breathy moan falls from your lips when you feel the palm of his hand press against where your clit would be, but your puffy lips hide it from him.
“Y/N, you’re my only real friend - my best friend - so I’m not going to bullshit you here.” A lump starts to form in your throat, thinking Billy was going to tell you that he couldn’t do this because of your friendship. Or how he couldn’t do this because he wouldn't want it getting out that you two had done this. So what he said next surprised you, “I don't think I can do this if you want to keep it a secret. In fact, I won't do this if I’m not allowed to walk you into school tomorrow and show everyone that you’re my girl… so just tell me now to stop if that’s not something you want from me.”
Instead of saying anything, you grab Billy’s face and kiss him. Taking the kiss as permission to go farther, he dipped his finger under the side of your panties. Dipping into your wetness, Billy trailed his finger up through your folds to your clit and started pleasing you with a slow side to side movement. You broke the kiss, moaning his name, and looked down to where his hand was hidden under your skirt. When you look back at him, he’s already looking right at you; studying the way your eyebrows furrow and mouth hangs open from the pleasure he’s giving you. Billy stops his motions and slowly pops his finger into his mouth, never breaking eye contact. “Damn, Y/N… With a pussy that sweet, I don't think I’ll need to have a piece of candy for the rest of my life.” And with that, Billy was moving off the bed to kneel between your legs.
Delicately, Billy removed your panties. This confused you, so you went to unbutton your skirt so that you would be completely bare for him, but he stopped your movements, “No way, Y/N… I’ve been thinking all day about how much I wanted to hide my head under this damn skirt and make you squirm. It’s staying on.” And with that, Billy moved your hands to the side of your body, shifted the skirt up slightly to give you some slack, and picked your legs up so that they were supported on his shoulders. He gave you a devious smile and a wink before disappearing under the skirt. Billy didn’t ease his way into pleasuring you, he just drove straight in.
“Oh my God, Billy! Fuck…” You draw out. Your back arches off of your bed as pornographic moans leave your lips. Billy kept your hips as steady as he could, but you were still able to get little bucks in here and there. You felt his tongue go wide at your hole, lapping up all of your juices, before returning back to your clit. Burrowing his lips and tongue between your puffy lips to find your clit again, Billy began sucking steadily on it. The intense pleasure he was giving you made you produce high pitched moans, each one coming out with each exhale. You knew you weren’t going to last long if he stayed at this speed, but you were adamant on wanting to cum from him fucking you.
“Billy, stop…” You grabbed him by his head and yanked him off your clit with a satisfying pop. He looked at you like he did something wrong, but you spoke before he could ask, “I wanna cum on your cock.” Billy groans and bites his lip at hearing this. You both start stripping away at your clothes, throwing them into a mixed pile on the ground. Before Billy knows it, you’re pushing him down so that he was then sitting on the bed and you were the one kneeling before him this time.
“Aw, fuck yeah. You gonna be a good girl and suck my cock?” He asks with a smirk. Looking up at Billy, you nod your head and make it a point to put on a little show for him. You start by slowly rubbing your hands up and down the inside of his thighs, barely letting the tips of your fingernails lightly drag across his skin. All while maintaining eye contact with him, you grab him and guide his tip to your mouth. Little by little, you allow most of his member to slip into your mouth until it hits the back of your throat. Billy’s eyes fluttered shut, “Fuck, just like that.” He moaned out.
Picking up the speed, loud wet sounds filled the room alongside Billy’s moans and whimpers. You shouldn’t be so surprised with how thick his cock is, but you are. Especially since your jaw is already starting to feel uncomfortable after such a little amount of time of blowing him. Even if Billy hadn’t eaten you out, you know that seeing him and hearing him like this would have gotten you just as wet. He doesn't let you continue for too long before he's pulling your mouth off of his cock and guiding you to lay down on the bed.
“I thought you wanted me to ride your cock so you could see my tits bounce.”
“Oh trust me Y/N, I’ll get my chance to see that next time. Just lay back and relax.” He replied. Grabbing the base of his cock, Billy dragged his tip through your folds. Teasing you, he tapped your clit causing both of you to whimper in anticipation. He looked at you for a second to see if there was any hesitation showing in your face. And when he didn’t see any, he started to press the tip in. Billy takes his time pushing himself all the way in, giving you enough time in between shallow thrusts to adjust to his size. You never ever thought in a million years that you would actually be under your best friend, waiting for him to fuck the daylights out of you. But when you thought about it, which was more times than youd like to admit, you didn’t account for how potentially thick he could be. So when he fully bottoms out, you cannot help but think how incredibly full and stretched out you feel.
“Y/N… uh- baby…” Billy moans, continuing his slow and shallow thrusts. “Your pussy feels so good, I dont know how long I’m going to last.” With a strained look on his face, you watch through fluttering lashes as he changes the pace to slow and long thrusts. With Billy fucking you at this pace, you can feel him hit your sweet spot every time he goes to the hilt.
“Me neither. Fuck me, Billy. Make me cum on your thick, strong cock.” You moan out. The way you spoke to Billy was not something he’d ever expect from you, but it was also not something he’d ever get tired of. Your words did something to him and it was soon thereafter that he began pounding you into your bed. Loud, wet smacks of skin, with a mixture of both of your moans, filled the room. Snaking your hand down to rub your clit, you focused on aiding yourself in reaching your own climax. Billy noticed what you were doing and reached out to roll one of your nipples between his fingers before leaning down to latch onto the other one with his mouth. The same mouth that latched onto your clit in a similar way. Just thinking about what his lips and tongue were doing to you earlier, and what they were doing to you now, pushed you right to your climax.
Screaming his name, you cum hard. Billy’s hips stutter in rhythm when he feels how your walls squeeze him almost impossibly tight. “Where? Hurry baby, tell me where…” he pants. You could tell him to pull out and cum anywhere he aimed like you told previous partners, but you didn’t want to. Billy was different… Billy meant something to you. So you said, “In me. Fill me up, Billy.”
Billy leaned down and began pounding you at a speed you weren’t aware he was capable of. Billy was pure animalistic with his thrusts, growling out, “Fuck, taking my cock like a good girl.” His words and the way he was pounding you started to push you towards another climax. Nipping at your earlobe, he asked, “Are you going to milk my balls with your tight pussy?” You nod your head frantically and let out high pitched moans with every breath. Billy grabbed a fistful of hair for purchase , causing a delightful amount of pain for you. Feeling like Billy was there to keep you in that position, making you take his cock, you began unraveling. Your walls clenched down on his cock, fluttering with every thrust he made.
With only a few more thrust left in him, Billy pushed himself all the way into you and held himself there. When you thought Billy was done cumming, and working on slipping himself out, he roughly pounded himself into your overstimulated pussy a few more times accompanied by deep grunts that punctuated each one.  When he had finally rolled off of you and was laying by your side, you both looked at each other and let out a few chuckles. Billy grabbed you and rolled you onto your side so that both of you could look at each other. Neither one of you did say anything for a beat; just stared and drank each other in.
“What are you thinking about?” You ask him.
“Don't worry about it sweetheart…” He trailed off. He brought his hand up to the side of your face and ghosted his thumb in soft circles.
Did Billy hate Hawkins? Absolutely. But he knew that as long as you were by his side, his life here would be more bearable until he left. And now that being just friends was no longer an option, he knew that he would do anything to get you to leave this shit hole, hick infested town with him. But until then, he was perfectly content with laying with you on your bed

Things Unsaid
Sidney Prescott x Reader (Female) [Scream 2022]
Warnings: SPOILERS for the fifth Scream movie (2022), Injury, Blood, Death (mentioned), Swearing
Genre: Romance, Angst, Hurt/Comfort
Summary: What if instead of Judy, Ghostface stabs a deputy that arrives there before her. Deputy L/N.
Requested by @daydreamsofbee Hi dear! Thank you so much for your request and I’m sorry it took me so long to write your fic - I was stalling to watch the movie because I had Dewey’s death spoiled for me 😭 - but here it finally is and I hope you enjoy the read! Love, Vy ❤
“Hey Dewey! What can I do for you?“ This has become a regular thing between the long time friends.
Ever since Dewey’s retirement, Y/N has been his main source of police work news. Cases they’re working on, suspects they’re questioning, criminals that have been caught, etc. Dewey has been of great help to investigations as well, no that Y/N’s ever disclosed him as her secret helper but their dynamic works well.
“Hey there, Deputy. I need you to keep an eye on this new Nancy Drew in town. Billy Loomis’ daughter, Samantha Carpenter and her boyfriend....“
“Richie Kirsch.“ She finishes his sentence for him, “How do you know about them anyway?“
“They stopped by my place earlier. Ghostface strikes again and you don’t tell me? That’s real nice of you, Y/N.“ He mutters bitterly, earning himself an eye-roll from the woman.
“I didn’t want to freak you out! You’ve dealt with this shit enough already.“ She argues, pinching the bridge of her nose.
That’s really the truth, she didn’t want this reaching Dewey or Sidney or Gale. Of course, she couldn’t prevent the news reporter from catching wind of it but Dewey was a more difficult task.
“You’ve been dealing with it for just as long as I have!“ That’s true too.
Y/N has been on the target list since the days of Billy Loomis and Stu Macher and who’s to say she’s been taken off it now. She can never seem to catch a break: from Stu using her as bait by kindling a close friendship with her, to Mickey who she even dated at one point to Roman who she became friends with and even slept with a couple of times. She’s never been far from the killer, always mere minutes from receiving a blade through the back if the killer wanted that. She thanks her lucky stars for making it this far with a pulse.
“As a retired Sherriff, you’re allowed to catch a break from the chaos, Dewey. On the other hand, it’s my duty to help stop this asshole.“ She counters his point with her own before battling the pit in her stomach to finally bring herself to ask the question that’s looming in the cop car with her ever since she exchanged the first line of conversation with him. “Did you tell Sidney?“
“Yes.“ The answer causes her to squeeze her eyes shut. This is the one thing she was praying wouldn’t happen and yet.... “But don’t worry, she’s not coming back here....ever. She’s safe.“
Hearing that evokes a bittersweet feeling in the Deputy. On one hand she’s happy to hear that her friend is safe and won’t be getting sucked into the chaos anytime soon or, as Dewey said, ever. But on the other....that means she’ll never see Sidney again and that seriously stings. Makes her regret all the times she could’ve come clean about her feelings but ended up being too much of a coward instead.
“ Ok, that’s great....“ She’s found herself unable to find a proper reply but, just her luck, the police radio goes off, Sherriff Hicks asking for backup to her house immediately. “Gotta go, Dewey!” She says quickly, hanging up the call and stepping on the gas.
Checking the GPS, she sees that she’s only mere five minutes away from the location but with the way she’s speeding, she’ll make it there in three, probably the first to make it there entirely. Regardless, with the panic in Judy’s voice, Y/N can’t step on that gas enough. She can only guess Wes is the one in danger and for that this car cannot go fast enough. Y/N’s hand tightly grip the steering wheel, making intents in the leather.
If that fucker lays a finger on Wes....
The car comes to a halting stop by the curb in front of the Hicks home. Gun drawn, Deputy L/N jumps out of the car, carefully but quickly approaching the house.
Unfortunately, not carefully enough.
A blade has breached her skin and flesh right below the hem of her bulletproof vest before she’s even been able to register the masked figure standing in front of her.
“Y/N L/N.“ The grumbled voice says with an infuriating snark to the tone, “Must say, I’m a big fan.“
With that the knife is retracted from Y/N’s abdomen just for it to be stabbed into her three more times.
Y/N’s vision goes black, all her muscles screaming in unison at the pain as her body falls limp into the pool of blood forming beneath her on the pavement.

"Sidney." The name falls from Gale's lips in a mix of surprise and content, both caused by the sight of the woman standing in front of her in the hospital lobby.
She gets up from her seat, giving the newcomer a hug.
"I came as soon as I heard. I'm so sorry." Sidney replies, the hurt evident in her voice as she wraps her arms around Gale who can no longer hold back her sobs.
One would say she should have gotten used to seeing people drop like flies but that could not be more false. Sidney knows that best.
"You shouldn't be here." The older woman says as the two pull away, looking into each other's eyes, seeing their hurt looking right back at them.
"You shouldn't either." Sidney replies, earning her a small sigh from Gale.
"I know, and I don't plan on sticking around. God knows I'd be on the first flight home after the...funeral, but I can't leave while Y/N's still in the state she's in." She explains, the pain in her chest unwavering.
However, the name she dropped seems to knock Sidney out of balance for a moment as she comprehends everything, "Wait, Y/N as in Y/N L/N?"
"Deputy L/N herself indeed." Gale nods, confirming Sidney's worries.
All this time she's been away from Y/N she's never stopped wondering how she's been holding up, what she has been up to. And yet, not a single one of those times was she able to pick up the phone and give her used-to-be best friend a call. Not even once and especially not after she married Mark. When her daughters were born she was the first person she wanted to call after leaving the hospital and tell her the good news. She was the first person she wanted to call after her divorce a few months ago, seek comfort. But alas she didn't.
Why? Now that she cannot answer. Or rather, she's afraid to.
"What happened to her?" The tightness in her chest increases in the two seconds it takes Gale to reply to her question.
"Ghostface got a bit too stab-friendly, was aiming to turn her insides into outsides but luckily Sherriff Hicks arrived at the scene on time. She's in one piece again but high on painkillers constantly, asleep 24/7. I don't know what to say...but she isn't doing well, that's all I know."
Sidney's heart sinks.
"C-Can I see her?" She stutters out, her words breaking up as they stumble out of her sore, dry throat.
"Room 103 in the ICU." And Sid is off, " Oh, and tell Louisa to get her ass here immediately so I can drive her to school or I'll go get her myself!" Gale shouts after her, her words not exactly reaching her through the fog in her brain which now is working solely on navigating her to Y/N's room.
The scavenger hunt ends once she finds herself in front of a door with the number 103 on it. It's safe to say she barges in so quickly she almost takes the door off its hinges. And most definitely startles the shit out of the girl sitting in the chair by the hospital bed.
Panic is evident in her eyes until a spark of recognition flashes in them. She gets up from her seat and motions for Sidney to follow her back out into the hallway.
"You're Sidney Prescott." She declares in a hushed tone the woman was expecting to be accusatory but wasn't. It was more amazed than anything.
"Y-Yes." Sid stutters as she tries reading the girl's expression but failing to do so because of how numb and emotionless her features are. She sees a lot of herself in her, a lot of the reflection she saw in the mirror after her mom died.
"Mom has told me a lot about you. All good things, don't worry." She gives a faint smile, "Oh, sorry, I'm Louisa, by the way, her daughter."
"Nice to meet you, I'm sorry it's under these circumstances though." The older woman says, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder. "And I'm sorry you have to go through this. You're just a kid....you don't deserve any of these."
Louisa shakes her head, "Neither did my mom. She was actually a year younger than I am now when she first had to deal with murderous freaks. You didn't deserve it either. You were both just kids....but it seems like it's all coming back around full circle."
"Hey." Sidney takes hold of the girl's other shoulder as well, "We'll break this fucking pattern, ok? Once and for all."
The teenager nods before a sob wracks her body, "I just want mom to wake up. I want her to come home, hug me and Michael and tell us that it'll all be alright."
Sid pulls her in for a hug which she gladly accepts, "Is Michael your brother?" She feels the girl nod against her shoulder, "How old is he?"
"Seven." She weakly replies.
"Does he know?" The girl shakes her head, "Good." She pulls away from the hug to look Louisa in the eyes, "He'll never have to know. You'll neve have to explain why mom won't be coming home cause she'll come home, ok? She'll wake up and she'll be back to being the bossy pushover she can sometimes be. She's a walking, talking boulder." This gets a laugh out of the crying girl, "And I see you've inherited that from her. So, wipe those tears away and go give Michael a big hug, don't let him miss Y/N. Missing a mother is the most painful feeling ever."
Louisa nods again, following Sidney's instructions as she straightens he posture and dries her cheeks, "Thank you." She whispers with a faint smile that somehow manages to grace her features.
She's got the same smile as Y/N, Sidney thinks to herself.
Just then, a voice booms through the hallway, "Louisa!"
It's Gale.
"Right.." Unlike the confused Sidney, Louisa knows exactly what's going on, "I have to get to school."
With that the two exchange goodbyes and depart, leaving Sidney to have to face the task of walking back into that hospital room again.
After a brief sigh and a sharp inhale she makes her way inside. But things are different this time.
For example, Y/N's eyes are open.
"Thought I recognized that voice...." The Deputy chuckles, "Wait, it's really you, right? I don't know what to believe anymore...these pills are killing my perception."
Sidney's emotional disbalance counters Y/N's casual and calm tone. She squats down by the bed, taking the patient's hand in hers, "Oh God, Y/N, it's me. From head to toe, the Angel of Death herself."
The other woman giggles, "Don't call yourself that. And what brings you here, anyway? Thought you'd never step foot here again."
That's when it hits Sidney - She doesn't know.
She contemplates telling her, really not looking forward to being the one to break the awful news to her but postponing the inevitable is also not at all gonna help the situation. It's only gonna hurt more and she's well aware of that.
So she takes the painful alternative...
"I came as soon as I heard....Dewey was killed.....I'm so sorry, Y/N. I'm so fucking sorry...." She stumbles over her words before trailing off, tears prickling her eyes so she chooses to squeeze them shut.
A tear slips out of Y/N's.
"Oh, God, why did he have to involve himself?! I knew it was a bad idea! Why wasn't I there to protect him?! What kind of fucking friend am I?! Why him?! Why am I alive and he's not?!" The woman sobs, for the first time since she woke up wishing that she really was dead.
"Shh, shh..." With tears of her own staining her shirt, Sidney hugs the guilt-ridden, dread-filled woman, "He'd hate for you to be keeping him company right now. He'd much rather have you here to avenge him. Please, Y/N, for me, for Gale and for Dewey but most importantly for your kids, please, don't crumble. Don't lose yourself, cause the you I know will pick herself up and kick ass like nothing ever happened."
But many things have happened and all of them have slowly been piling up. Starting that night at Stu's house up until this very point. She's cheated death too many times, almost always at the hands of the people she trusted so much. Stu betrayed her, she didn't care. The man she was starting to fall in love with ended up being a serial killer, an utter psychopath. It broke her, but no one noticed. Getting betrayed by Roman felt like a hit a spot where pain receptors no longer work. Like a punch to a brick wall. She had grown numb. Numb to pain and sadness only.
The last two times she's felt great pain like this is when she lost Sidney and the other when she lost her fiancée to a drunk driver a year ago.
It's safe to say this woman hasn't cried nearly as enough as she's wanted and needed to throughout the years.
"I will. I promise I will." She sniffles, "But for now I just want to let it all out."
"I'll be here while you do so." Sidney squeezes her hand tighter, a seal to the promise that she won't be leaving her side anytime soon.
* * * * *
"Mama loves you, Mikey. See you soon, baby. Bye." Sidney catches the last part of Y/N's phone call from outside her room door.
It's nice to see her being able to stay conscious for longer periods of time. She's still in the ICU though, so nothing is to be said for certain about the future. Sidney and Y/N both are just happy for the current moments they have.
"You're a wonderful mother, Y/N. I always knew you would be." She tells the Deputy as she waltzes her way in.
She chuckles in response, "Remember that I swore up and down I'd never have kids? Look at me now. Thought I'd stay a party girl forever."
"I think you got it all out of your system in high school and college." Sidney laughs as she settles in the chair by Y/N's bed. "Remember our first high school party?"
The other woman gasps, "How could I not?! I was ready to murder those two girls, they were being so annoying. That was my first official fight."
"And you would've gotten your ass kicked if I didn't get us out of there." Sid comments, making Y/N laugh.
"Fair enough....I felt so bad for cutting our night short. But at least we got to rewatch Breakfast at Tiffany's again at your place."
The brunette shrugs, "I didn't mind at all. I always would've preferred a quite night in with you than going out to party."
A moment of silence falls over the two, the air thickening with memories they've both been grasping onto as to not let them be shadowed by all the bad that laced their youth.
"How's Kincaid?" Y/N is the one to put an end to the reminiscing quiet.
"You don't care." Sidney replies but through a small laugh which is surprising to say the least.
She's not wrong, though - Y/N really doesn't care. She didn't really care or like Billy, or Derek...you see the pattern here?
"Ok, how are the kids then?" She retorts with a playful eye roll.
This question she does get an answer to, "They're doing well. I just hope this co-parenting thing and the divorce won't affect them badly. Mark and I are doing out best to not let them sense a difference but I'm still worried."
"Communicate it properly to them, make sure they understand that it's not their fault. Make sure to assure and reassure them every chance you get that you love them and will never stop loving them, both you and Kincaid. I know how hard it must be to explain that to kids with a single digit age, but maybe that'll give you an advantage."
"What about you and...whoever the lucky man is?" The woman nudges her friend's leg.
Y/N sighs, "He isn't lucky at all. I just hope he runs into Dewey up in heaven so they can keep each other company."
Sidney squeezes Y/N's hand in a comforting gesture, choosing not to say anything, knowing the Y/H/C will understand her regardless.
"You know, sometimes I wonder how different things would've been if I wasn't a coward. How many lives could be saved. I mean, Bronson would probably still be alive right now if he never met me, if we didn't start dating etc. He wouldn't have even been in Woodsboro. But then again I wouldn't have Michael and Louisa in my life so it's a bittersweet reflection." Y/N finally finds it in her to sat what's been bothering you for what feels like forever now. It's not far off the mark though - it's been a decade of her holding back everything, not to mention that it started even way before that.
"You're not a coward, Y/N. You've never been. You may see yourself that way but I hope you know nobody agrees with you. Not a single soul. I owe you my life. I've indebted it to you several times." Sidney runs her thumb over her friend's bruised knuckles, a pit forming in her stomach at the thought of all the lost time between them. How things would have been different if she wasn't a coward.
"Just because I'm courageous in one department doesn't mean I am that way in all aspects of my life. I've never been able to go after what I want or who I want. I've never been able to stay true to myself or anyone really. I wish I told you all I wished would just come out of me unexpectedly. I wish I said something instead of waiting and hoping you'd read my mind." Y/N runs her hands through her hair, avoiding Sidney's gaze the whole time before her palms cover her face as a protective gesture that's become a habit when she can't run from or fix a certain awkward or uncomfortable situation.
"What are you saying, Y/N?" The brunette, while with a good guess on her hands, doesn't want to go out on a limb here.
"I'm saying that, since day one I've been constantly in love with you, Sid. Constantly. Never once did that change. I've always loved you, but I've been in love with you too this whole time. And I'm sorry you're hearing this under these circumstances and in this messed up period of your life, but I don't know if I'll ever make it out of this ICU so I better tell you, you know? Before the coward me kicks in and shuts me up." She sighs heavily, her hands still covering her eyes, "Feel free to walk out on me if you'd like, I'll fucking deserve it. Don't worry, I won't take it personally, just....don't say anything, ok?"
Sidney really sticks to that - she doesn't say anything. Not when she leans forward, not when she removes Y/N's hands off her face and most definitely not when her lips collide with hers.
There's a whirlwind of emotions within the the both of them at the moment, there always has been but it's now come to a boiling point, a culmination neither of them could've predicted - especially wouldn't have guessed it would happen in their forties. Never would've thought they'd wait so long to say it. Who's to say they ever would've said it at all. They're both a little cowardly in this very aspect, both having held onto something for so long it's become an aching part of them. Letting it go now out in the open feels practically unreal.
The kiss is brief, hesitant and too instant for Y/N to even process it properly before her eyes meet Sidney's again.
"I'm never walking out on you again, Y/N. I promise you. I'm never walking out on you again. I've made that mistake too many times in the past and I don't plan on repeating it." Sidney's hands replace the hold Y/N's had on her face, but her touch is more gentle, cupping her cheeks. It's not meant to protect her per se, it's more to pull her in, to reassure her of her safety in her arms. Promise her that she'll always be safe in her arms. "I-I've never been the best at...feelings? And that hasn't changed even now. But you've been patient with me thus far, God bless your heart, I'm asking you to wait on me just a little longer. I love you too much to lose you and I'm too in love with you to leap in a relationship without pulling my act together and risk hurting you in the process. Can you do that? Wait for me just a bit longer?"
A smile lights up Y/N's face like Sidney last remembers seeing back in the early days of college - before Mickey and Roman, before Derek and Kincaid. She remembers it all too well and is so glad to see it hasn't been snuffed out of Y/N completely throughout the years. They're both holding onto a small piece of themselves it seems they've only reserved for each other.
"I'll wait for you, Sid, I've spent my whole life waiting for a miracle and now....what's just a bit more time compared to a quarter decade? I can hold your hand throughout it all or remain at a six feet distance, whatever you want or need." Y/N nods eagerly, her forehead resting against Sidney's.
"Let's start with getting you out of the ICU first. And then you gotta promise me you won't be pulling dangerous stunts like this. Understood?"
"A Deputy's word, ma'am."
There's a lot still ahead of them they'll need to yet deal with but there's a lot of stuff they've left behind which they'll now have to uncover and dust off to be able to move forward. There's plenty they left unsaid and things they wish they did but never had the courage to. Plus there's ten years worth of catching up for them to do. These two never can seem to catch a break.
But for now, they aren't gonna busy their minds with that. Instead, they're perfectly content reconnecting that kiss from a few moments ago, but making it last longer this time.

We’re All Changing
Tumblr media
Billy Hicks x Reader
Words: 4065
Summary: One big mistake sends your life completely over the edge and your friends try to help you put the pieces back together. Your best friend Billy is by your side every step and the barriers that you put around your friendship start to crumble.
Notes: I really really love this movie, but this is going to be another imagine that isn’t for everyone. I love the bond between these fucked up people, and I will be writing the characters, including the reader, as such. There’s something about Alec and Billy and Jules and everybody in this movie that I love. (this is kind of a mess, but I hope you like it)
Warnings: Cheating, lots of alcohol, overall angst, and lots and lots of drama.

You opened the door before he even had a chance to knock.
“I didn’t know who else to call.” Your face was red from crying and your hair was a mess. It definitely wasn’t the best condition he’d ever seen you in… but it definitely wasn’t the worst, either. Billy sat on the sofa and you curled up beside him. The strong smell of cheap wine and cigarette smoke hung around you as you laid your head on his chest and let him wrap his arms around you. That was the thing with Billy. It didn’t matter what was wrong. He didn’t need to know why, he would drop whatever he was doing if he knew you were upset about something. And this wasn’t just something, he could tell. This was big.
“You want to tell me what’s going on?” He asked gently. Sure, half the time Billy was a total douche. But he was your best friend so you were the one who got to see his soft side the most.
“I fucked up… everything.” You sat up and his arms fell to his sides. “I really really screwed up, Billy.”
“No way, Little Miss Perfect doesn’t screw up.” He smirked. It was supposed to be funny, but you started to cry. Billy sighed and pulled you back to him. “Hey, I’m sorry. That was a stupid thing to say.”
“I-I can’t tell anyone else.” You barely managed to get the words out between sobs. Now he was scared.
“Y/N, are you in some kind of trouble? Did somebody hurt you?” It usually took a lot to freak him out, but if you were in trouble, all bets were off. You shook your head.
“Billy, I…” You buried your face in your hands, too ashamed to have him look at you. “I fucked someone I met at the bar last night.” He leaned back on the couch, feeling guilty for being so relieved.
“Oh.” It took a moment for him to get rid of all the horrible scenarios he had in his head. “Who, uh, who was it?” You let out a sob.
“That’s the thing Billy. I don’t even know who it was.” You were crying pretty hard now, still hiding your face. “I don’t even know his name.”
“Hey.” Billy brought your hands away and lifted your chin with his finger. “You know that I am the last person to judge you for anything. Let alone something like this.” You gave him a look. He laughed. “Come on, I’m not exactly the posterboy for monogamy here, Y/N.”
“I just…” You took a deep breath, trying to get the words out as clearly as you could. “I was drunk and I was angry and this guy started flirting with me. We ended up doing it in the back of his car like a couple of highschoolers.” You picked up the wine bottle on the coffee table and took a swig. “I just feel so dirty, you know?”
“You’re not-” He stopped at the sound of the front door opening. Your stomach twisted up in knots. Your fiance.
“You should probably go.” Saying Rodney didn’t like Billy was the understatement of the year. He hated him. You couldn’t deal with one of their fights again. As much as Billy would have loved to get under Hot Rod’s skin, he didn’t want to make things worse for you.
“We’ll talk more later, okay?” He gave your hand a reassuring squeeze before he scrambled out the and down the fire escape. He just wasn’t fast enough.
Billy Hicks had been your best friend since you were sixteen. When you weren’t bailing him out of trouble, you were right there with him. He was even your date to senior prom when your boyfriend got caught smoking weed in the locker room. When you found out you were going to college together, you threw yourselves a party that lasted two days.
You’d met Rodney junior year of college at a party that Billy dragged you to. He proposed the day you graduated and you had been so excited to be the first of the group to get married. Well, besides Billy. You were the first person he’d told when Felicia got pregnant. Hell, you were one of the witnesses when they got married. You were there for him the day Melody was born. Now that you needed him to be there for you, you knew you couldn’t let him. Everything was different now.
Rodney’s smile had something off about it as he pulled you in for a kiss. And his eyes had that look he got before he was about to blow.
“You think I don’t know, don’t you?” He spat. “You fucking whore.”
“W-what?”
“When Bill told me he saw you leave the bar with some guy, you know, I had to keep myself from thinking it was him.” He threw his briefcase across the room. “But you brought him here! Billy Hicks was fucking my fiance in my apartment!” His face was turning bright red and his voice was so loud it actually hurt your ears. There was a reason everybody called him Hot Rod...
“Rodney, I just let me explain-”
“Explain what? That you’ve been fucking Billy this whole time?”
“It wasn’t Billy!” You screamed. You were getting angry now. “What about all those girls you’ve been screwing at your office? Huh, Rodney? I have forgiven you for all of them, but the minute I slip up, you come down on me!”
“We are not talking about me here.” This is what you’d fought about that night. You finally asked him about the girls at work and he pretended like it meant nothing. Maybe that’s why you slept with that guy. For it to mean something.  Rodney took a deep breath. “I want you out of the apartment by the time I get back from work tomorrow. And you can find somewhere else to stay tonight.”
“What?” You gasped, feeling like the breath was knocked out of you.
“Pack up your stuff and go.” He turned on his heel and slammed the bedroom door behind him.
You had to get out of there. You needed to run. This couldn’t be happening. You grabbed your Georgetown sweatshirt off the couch and got out of there before Rodney went off again, because you knew he would. It was getting late, but you didn’t care. You needed to run.
When your mind stopped spinning, you took in your surroundings. It was cold and it was starting to rain. Shit. It didn’t help that every alley way you looked down had some dark shape that you could have sworn was a person. To keep yourself calm, you tried to imagine yourself in the safest place you could think of. You quickly shook the thought out of your head when all you could picture was being tucked away in Billy’s arms. When a group of the dark shapes started to move toward you, you ran a little faster until you found a payphone.
“Alec Newbury.” The voice answered groggily.
“Alec? C-could you come and pick me up? I went for a run and I wasn’t paying attention and now I don’t know where I am and now I feel like someone is following me-” The words tumbled out of your mouth before you could think.
“Okay, slow down. Do you see any signs? Any businesses or anything?” He swung his legs over the side of the bed and put on his shoes. Leslie turned over, watching him grab his keys with the phone still pressed against his ear.
“Is everything okay?” She whispered. He shrugged.
“I think I’m not too far from St. Elmo’s.” You stated, the rain starting to make you shiver. “Could you just meet me there?” You sounded more frustrated than scared, which made him panic a little less.
“I’ll be right there.”
You took cover under the bar’s awning. You couldn’t tell if the shiver running down your spine was from the cold or from the feeling of somebody watching you. A chorus of voices and footsteps was getting closer and you shrunk back into the shadows, clutching your keys in your hand. You braced yourself as a group approached. The voices changed to laughter as the group of college aged boys stumbled drunkenly passed you. You let out a sigh of relief. Were you this paranoid in college?
Alec pulled up next to the curb and you scrambled inside.
“You okay?” He asked, taking off his jacket to give to you as you stripped out of your soaking sweatshirt. “What the hell are you doing running this time of night anyway?” He noticed that it wasn’t just rain on your cheeks. You had been crying.
Alec was your best friend in a different way than Billy. Alec was like the group’s big brother. He bailed you out of trouble almost as much as he bailed out Billy. He was the responsible one. The one everybody called when they got too drunk at a party, or when they were stuck in the rain. Or when they couldn’t go home anymore.
“I just wanted to clear my head.” You shrugged. You couldn’t tell him. Billy supported you no matter what, but you couldn’t bear disappointing Alec. He raised a brow. “I had a weird day, alright?”
“Did Hot Rod do something?”
“Come on, Alec, you know he hates being called that.”
“Did he do something or not?”
“No, he didn’t do anything.” You lied, running your fingers through your dripping hair, getting more frustrated by the second. If you told Alec, you knew what he would think. What a shame. I thought things were going so well. I didn’t know she was a slut. “I just… I don’t want to go home right now.” Of course, only one place came to mind. Billy’s. But you couldn’t. There were lines of your friendship that you couldn’t cross. Barging in on him and Felicia was one of them.
“I’ll set up a place for you to sleep at my apartment.” Alec sighed. He just wanted to know what was going on. There was a reason they all called him ‘Hot Rod’. His temper was short and he could get mean when he was angry. In all honesty, everybody in the group only put up with him because you were together.
“Thank you, Alec.” You said quietly as he opened the door to his apartment after spending the rest of the car ride in silence. He looked over to see you staring at the floor. A tear slipped down your face and fell to the carpet.
“Hey,” He put a hand on your shoulder. “Everything is gonna sort itself out, okay?” You raised your head and gave him a small smile, wishing you were as sure as he was.
-
The next morning, Alec drove you back to your apartment without asking any more questions. The more he asked you, he knew the more you’d just cover up what was really going on. He’d have to find out a different way.
“You know you can call me and Leslie if anything happens, right?” He said suddenly before you got out of the car. You nodded and quickly kissed his cheek to say thank you. He watched you walk in before he drove off, reminding himself to call Billy and see what he knew. The two of you were inseparable and if something was going on, Billy would know every detail. You stood outside the building with a building sense of dread.
You should have seen this coming. Everybody else did. Your tears had let up by the time you got the last box in the back of your car. Your mind was so occupied, that you didn’t even see the person approaching you.
“He didn’t.” Billy sighed as you slammed the trunk closed. You gave him a weak shrug.
“He said I have until he gets back from work to get all of my things.” At least you had stopped crying. You felt stupid enough as it was. “I called Wendy and she said I could move in with her until I can find my own place, so that’s where I’m headed.”
“I’ll help you.” He said, more of a statement than an offer.
“Billy you don’t have to-”
“Y/N.” He gave you a determined stare, those blue eyes melting your heart as he put a hand on your cheek. “I’m not leaving you alone for this.” You looked into his eyes for a little too long. You quickly got into the car without saying anything you would regret. Like how Rodney thought the guy was Billy.
It was a pact you made your senior year of high school. You said that the only way to never screw up your friendship was to never screw around with each other. While there’s been brief kisses and fleeting touches, it never went further than that. Ever. You both accepted that. Rodney knew that, but he’d always said he didn’t believe it. He would tease you about what you’d told him about high school. About that prom that Billy rented a suit at the last minute to be your date. About the time Billy beat up a handful of guys on the football team when they were harassing you at a party. About how Billy was your first kiss after that fight, sophomore year under a street lamp in the rain. Rodney said there was no way nothing ever happened. You never told him how much you had wanted something to.
You got to Wendy’s apartment and Billy started grabbing boxes before you could stop him. At least you had an extra pair of hands. It took less than an hour to get all of your things up the stairs, but you didn’t have that much to begin with. Wendy was at work, so she had given you a spare key to let yourself in. You set all the boxes down before you could feel yourself breaking down again. You had failed. How could a person fuck up this much by the age of 22?
“This is a pretty nice place.” Billy noted, turning around to see the tears on your face. He just held out his arms and you ran to him. “Everything is going to turn out okay. You know that everybody is here for you. Hell, I’m surprised Jules hasn’t stormed his office yet.” He chuckled and you felt his chest rise and fall. He pulled back slightly. “And you’ve got me. Always.”
You don’t know if it was your emotional state or years of holding back that made you kiss him. But once you started, you just couldn’t stop. And neither could he. One of you found a bottle of wine in the fridge and everything just became a mess of drinking, kissing, taking off each other’s clothes.
“God, I can’t believe it has taken us this long.” Billy sighed, falling back onto the sofa.
“Don’t even get me started.”
You’re pretty sure you were still drunk when you woke up with Billy’s body pressed against yours, his breath lightly blowing against the back of your neck as he slept. Shit.
“Shit shit shit shit shit.” You whispered to yourself, trying to move, but he was holding onto you pretty tightly. This couldn’t happen. The gates you had kept closed for so many years came flooding open and you were forced to face a truth you’d been denying since high school. You loved him. And not in a best-friend kind of way. You wanted him. More than anything you could ever remember wanting. Maybe that’s the real reason you cheated on Rodney. How fucked up is that?
“Hey.” You could hear the satisfied smirk in his voice as his arms shifted around you. “You want another drink?” At least he was enjoying this. He’d probably forget it in the morning. You forced yourself out of his embrace and he gave you a confused look.
“We promised we would never do this.” You muttered, gathering up your clothes.
“What?”
“There’s a reason that we never went past kissing, Billy!” You hadn’t meant to yell, but your brain was too hazy to care. “We made a pact that we would never fuck and now everything is different.”
“Why does it have to be different?” Of course this didn’t mean anything to him. Why should have you expected something else?
“It’s different because I-” You couldn’t say it. If sleeping together didn’t ruin your friendship, saying it would. You threw on your pants and Billy started to get up from the couch as you pulled your shirt over your head.
“Can you just wait a second?” He huffed, but your hand was on the door handle already. You were going to Kevin’s. If anybody could talk you out of being in love with your best friend, it was Kevin. Billy grabbed your hand. “Y/N.”
“This was a mistake.” You snapped and slammed the door behind you, passing a very confused Wendy on the way down the stairs.
Wendy didn’t have to unlock her apartment door. Billy emerged, pulling his shirt over his head. She froze.
“You too…”
“Not now, Wendy.” He huffed, storming down the hall.
He went to Jules’ to talk. Jules was honest. He knew she wouldn’t bullshit him. He didn’t anticipate the slap, though.
“You did what?” She shrieked.
“We slept together.” He repeated, rubbing his cheek. She looked like she was going to hit him again so he ducked. “Look, I thought you guys were all waiting for this to happen, why are you so surprised?”
“Because I figured if you guys slept together you would be together, Billy.” She yanked him into her apartment.
“Could you keep your voice down, my head is killing me.” He whined. Man, how much did the two of you drink?
“Billy, do you know what this is going to do to her?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Why do you think you guys have never done it before?” She gave him an accusing stare. He did come over here for her honesty, which was his own fault. He thought for a moment.
“We made this promise in school that we wouldn’t.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know-”
“Because you didn’t want to screw up your friendship by screwing!”
“Again, Jules, with the yelling.”
“Billy, she’s in love with you.” Jules finally blurted. “She has been since high school.” Before Billy could respond, Jules’ phone started ringing. She glared at him and motioned for him to sit on the couch before answering. “Alec?”
There was a long pause and Jules’ face changed. Her eyes got wide and stared at Billy with an expression that was unusual for her. Worry.
“Okay, Alec, slow down. Billy is with me right now and we’ll be right there. I’m sure everything is going to be fine. I’ll see you there.” Jules immediately grabbed the keys to her jeep and pulled Billy off of the couch. “We have to go.”
“What’s going on?”
“Everybody is heading to the hospital. We have to go now.”
“Jules, what the hell are you-”
“Y/N crashed her car.” She stated bluntly, though the panic in her voice was real. “Alec is freaking out. He says they don’t know if she’s okay or not because the doctors won’t tell him anything because he isn’t family.” Billy hardly processed a word. All he understood was that Y/N was in the hospital. And it was his fault.
-
Alec was pacing like a madman. He knew something was wrong. He knew it. He should have said something. When he saw Jules rushing down the hall with Billy in tow, he had to restrain himself from screaming at him right there. He grabbed him by the color and pulled him into the men’s room.
“What happened?” He questioned, his tone actually kind of frightening. Billy shoved him off.
“How should I know?”
“Because she tells you everything!” Alec was scared. Really scared. Y/N was like his sister. Billy just never realised how much she meant to him. “Billy, I picked Y/N up walking in the rain in the middle of the night last night. She was a mess. And now, she crashes her car? I overheard the cops saying something about alcohol in her system. What the hell happened?”
Billy started to walk away. He couldn’t deal with the accusing glares anymore. Alec just scoffed and crossed his arms.
“Do you even care?” Billy froze.
“What did you say?”
“I said do you even care?” Alec’s stare was cold and Billy just snapped. He walked back towards Alec with clenched fists.
“Because I couldn’t possibly care about anything right? Billy’s the group fuck up who only cares about himself. Is that it?” He pushed Alce backwards. “Is that it!”
“Billy-”
“Billy couldn’t love anybody. He just isn’t capable. He doesn’t love his kid, he doesn’t love his friends, he can’t love the girl he’s wanted to be with since high school!” He had Alec backed into the corner now. He was breathing heavily from yelling and Alec’s expression had softened.
“I didn’t know.” Alec said sympathetically.
“Yeah, well, none of you know.” Billy huffed, shoving his fists in his pockets and walking out.
Kevin and Kirby were back with coffee for everyone and Wendy had stopped crying. Leslie had finally found someone who could give some information as to what was going on. Billy kept his distance from everyone, leaning against the waiting room wall. When Alec joined everyone, he gave him an apologetic look which Billy ignored. Everybody was tense. Even Jules’ easy-going demeanor had dimmed with worry. Leslie came away from the nurse and everyone gathered around her.
“They said we can go back and see her. She’s got a couple of scraps and bruises and a mild concussion, but she’s going to be fine.” A collective sigh of relief filled the air. Everyone was eager to go back, but Alec put up a hand to stop them.
“I think Billy should have a moment alone.” He gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder. Billy nodded and wandered the halls until he found the room. You were sitting up on the bed, head in your hands.
“Knock knock.”
You looked up as Billy entered with an awkward smile on his face. You were off the bed and in his arms in the blink of an eye. He laughed and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“I guess you should have let me drive.” You punched his arm, but it made you laugh through your tears nonetheless. He pushed back and forced you to look at him. “What were you thinking?” You just shrugged.
“I wasn’t.” You sat down on the side of the hospital bed and he sat beside you. “When I woke up and you were the one holding me, I realized that I didn’t want anyone else to ever hold me like that. I just wanted you. So I figured Kevin could talk me out of it.”
“Ah, good old Kevin.” Billy noted humorously, but his expression was serious.
“I’m sorry about this morning. I screwed up everything else in my life. I just didn’t want to lose you.”
“You’re not getting rid of me, Y/N.” He smiled. “Besides, you're not the only one to screw up.”
“What do you mean?”
“We got the annulment. Felisha’s getting remarried in a couple of weeks to a guy who can actually take care of her and Melody.” He knew it was the right thing. He was never going to be the father she needed. You blew out a breath.
“I just want everything to go back to the way it was. Not with Rodney, but just the way we all were in college. Fearless. Stupid. Young.” You sighed. Billy put a comforting hand on your knee and you laid your head on his shoulder.
“We’re all changing. And maybe it’s for the better, maybe it’s not, but it’s happening.”
You sat for a moment, taking in his words. He was right. You couldn’t stop life from happening. And while you didn’t know what the two of you were anymore, you knew that you would always have him.

Slashers x Reader(Mostly Chucky and Michael) || Oneshot
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: Sometimes Its Best Not To Decide //or// She Will Always Unlock The Door
Notes:
Chucky is in human form here.
This is a strange ass AU where all the Slashers live in the same time(Including billy and Stu) that caters to my needs to write this shot.
Plot:
You want a normal life, but you will always let the dark in. Even if you don't want it.
Warnings: Swearing, mention of blood? mention of Sawyers?
~~~
It’s been months since I last saw them, so I figured I was okay. I could do this; I could take that last step into a normal life. My final, best chapter.
So, I took the plunge, the risk. I said yes to a nice boy, with glasses who wears a tie at the coffee shop and paid for my drink for me in the morning, and we went out earlier this evening. Everything went great, it was like a fairytale, compared to how the rest of my life has been.
When we nearly kissed is when things went downhill.
As soon as his nose brushed on mine, feather light and not heated at all - nice, -, that’s when the loud, barking knocks on my front door started.
And I knew immediately who it had to be of course, but I still hoped it was just a really, really enthusiastic salesperson.
At 11 at night.
Of course, I was right initially, and the minute I opened that door all hell broke loose. Michael’s brought in from the rain, getting puddles of blood and water all over my damn floor and Chucky drops him on my perfect cream coloured couch. “What the hell happened to him??” I’m asking, hyper aware that he’s injured but Danial is still standing right there by the kitchen doorway, adorably confused. I round on Chucky, who doesn’t seem as concerned as he should be, seeing the situation. “What do you want??”
“Well, I tried to put him down when I found him but then he threw a fucking handful of mud in my face,” He wipes some of what’s left of the mud, off his face. “And kept trying to come here so I came along.”
“Why??” I wouldn’t have stopped the rude lilt to my tone just then if I could have. He just looks amused, at my anguish though and turns back to the bleeding murderer on my couch, which is turning red. I glance at Danial, fearing his reaction, then turn back pleadingly to Chucky. As if him and Michael leaving now will make things easier at all for my poor, now self-destructing ‘normal life’. “Can’t you just leave? Michael will be fine- Michael you’ll be fine. You always are. Take off the mask and go to Hospital- Chucky. I’m on a date.” I clasp my hands together and try to ignore the pinging guilt in my gut for trying to get rid of them, when I know Michaels in pain. But I told them, I can’t be a part of this anymore! I don’t want it; I don’t want his life!
“Aww, doll, you’re gonna abandon him in a time of need? Here I thought you were the good one.”
“Fuck you!” I am the good one, which is why I don’t want anything to do with this. First it’s Michael and Chucky, then I start getting dreams again, and Jason thinks its okay to come over when he’s lonely, I’ll get phone calls from Billy, and then I’ll have the whole fucking Sawyer clan in my home. As much as it hurts, and has downsides like leaving my friends, I cannot be connected to this anymore. I can’t say it enough! I want a normal life! And they know that! “Get out, get out of my house. And make sure to tell Drayton on your travels that this is not a stowaway home and to stop sending me letters with money, I don’t care how much he can pay me.” I put a hand on Chucky’s back and attempt to push him out of the house. I nearly succeed because he’s letting me by some miracle until he turns out of my clutches and back into the living room. Damnit!
I watch, hopelessly as he plops himself down in an armchair. And turns… to… Danial. “So, you’re the new toy?”
“U-Um, sorry? I-s that Michael Myers? Are you- “
“Charles Lee Ray, nice to meet you. Y/N tell you we’re old buddies?” A devious smirk reaches his lips, and he really is a concerning picture right then. With wild hair and a muddy coat. Oh crap, he’s getting mud on my armchair.  “No, I guess she wouldn’t. Too much of a priss to be connected to me.” A second passes and Chucky raises his eyebrows like he just remembered something. “Oh! Have you heard of Fredrick Krueger? He was on the news some years back, she’s pals with him to-“To stop him from talking, I grab a pillow and viciously hit him in the face with it.
Then I kneel down and put it under Michaels head, carefully. I guess there’s no getting rid of them now, the damage is done.
Danial looks to me, looking horrified myself even compared to his pale face. Quickly, I go towards him and try to explain. “I knew him as a kid, I don’t hurt people Danial- “What else can I say? Its best to be straight to the point and focused then to jabber on. I’ve done this all before.
Slowly, he nods. As if he understands. But he doesn’t look at my face, just the floor and occasionally he glances at either Michael or Chucky. “I think I need to go home, Y/N. I, I’m sorry.”
“No, I am.” I sigh, with a severely heavy heart as he walks past me knelt on the floor by the infamous Michael Myers, and leaves. As soon as the door shuts and the sound of rain is muffled, I turn furiously to Chucky. “You should be sorry, too.”
He levels with me, eyes going dark and smirk twisting into a dangerous grimace. “Look, Y/N, you let us in- “
“You pushed your way in! -“
“Irrelevant. You knew who would be at the door, more or less. You knew it would be one of us at least. You can try to pretend to be Plain Jane all you like, but when the wolf comes knocking on your door, you will always open it for him. Your soul is slate grey, get the fuck over it.”
I can’t agree with that because that life, is not what I want. But I can’t disagree either because the simple fact that Michaels hair between my fingers, as I comfort him mask-less makes me feel warm inside. Comfortable, in the right place.
While I get up and grab the medical kit, Chucky pulls out a cigarette and a lighter and lights up, and Michael shifts on the couch tiredly. “I didn’t come up with the Plain Jane thing, by the way. That was Ghostface boy.”
“So, this has been a topic of conversation??” I ask, sternly, half a decibel from vicious really. He chuckles, and nods, causing me to sigh heavily and start looking for Michael’s wound. Really, it could be anywhere. His outfits ripped up in places and there’s blood everywhere. Probably not all his, but it’s still very confusing.
He blows tobacco smoke into my living room. “Hehe, yep.” I find the wound and clear the area, to start cleaning it. Its on Michaels side, as if someone took a machete Jason style and wacked him right in the side with it. Not too deep, though. He’s just lost a lot of blood. I get a roll of toilet paper and get to work cleaning the area. It smells terrible. I don’t think people talk about the smell, enough. It really is rank. At least for me. So metallic, and totally unbreathable.
Quietly, I excuse my actions to them both. “I just don’t think, that because I love you,” And, by that, I mean all of them. Someone had to in this life and I guess that’s me, despite everything they’ve done. That’s what I tell myself. “That I should be taken away from my life, because of it.”
“But, there’s a part of you that loves it. The chaos and danger. Every good girl does, and yours grows every time one of us contacts you.”
“How dare you be so deep.” I half joke, carefully cleaning closer to the gash so Michael won’t move. When I’m done with that, I throw the tissues indifferently to the floor, where Chucky already tread mud. Its not like it can get any worse. Not wanting to talk about this anymore, I start sewing up Michael, feigning the fact that I need to concentrate. I know Chucky knows that, at this point, I don’t need to concentrate when doing this -I’ve stitched him and the rest up enough times to do it with my eyes closed,- but he grants me a few minutes of silence, thank goodness.
When I finish, I wipe the area quickly, but carefully to get every possibly infected spot with a medical wipe and get up. “Michael, you should be okay in the morning. I mean, I would recommend to anyone but you that you should rest for a few more days, but I know you wont. So, I’m just putting that idea out there at this point.” Wiping blood off my hands and onto my jeans -date jeans!!- I turn tiredly to Chucky who’s just quietly chain smoking away on the chair. “Are you gonna stay tonight? Cuz if you are, you’re taking a shower. You already owe me 15 bucks to get the mud out of that chair.”
“A gracious offer, but I got a hiding place for tonight.” He aims a dirty smirk at me then, hinting at something about his new hiding place that I really don’t want to think too hard about, and then pushes off the chair. He walks on by me, but before he can pass, he stops and turns to me one last time. “Think about what I said, Y/N. You’re lucky you get to live both worlds- even with us crashing into this one too often. If it were up to just Michael or Jason, or even Freddy, and definitely those crazy hick Sawyers, you wouldn’t see normal life again. You’d be kept in a basement, or a coma. Be happy with what you have, because we love you too. But not enough to respect your freedom if you go too far.” He looks down at me carefully through his hair. “Got it?”
Same old threats… “Yeah, I got it.” … But they’re getting closer to being real, I know that. Not all the love and care in the world could change their inability to handle loss without a fight. And if it came to a fight, I would most definitely lose.
A few minutes after he leaves, I check on Michael again and find he’s sleeping peacefully on the couch. If I was honest with myself, I like him there. I like having him around- I like having them all around. A musty old forest zombie isn’t so scary when you come to feel safe with him around, and nightmares aren’t so bad when they include mostly bad puns and dad jokes. Just like a crazy, possibly incestuous, definitely cannibalistic and slightly off the hanger family isn’t unbearable when they leave aside a plate of veggies just for you because they know you won’t eat human.
I love them, and I want them around. And if I was honest with Chucky, I would agree that I couldn’t survive without the splash of danger and extraordinary in my life. But I won’t, because if I do then I’m locked in, but then again if I say it isn’t true then I’m lying to myself. And he might leave and take the rest with him. So, sometimes it’s best not to decide.
Finally, I turn off the light and whisper goodnight to Michael and go to bed.
---
It was today when you had a weird feeling as you were only days away from your due date. And you were right. Your braxton hicks started for a short period of time before you dilated one centimeter as your body was preparing for what was to come. You were just now packing your hospital bag while your mother scolded you for waiting so long.
"What if you went into labor early? I would've had to pack your bag for you. What if I didn't get the right things packed?"
"Mom, you're way too concerned. I already have everything packed."
"You're absolutely sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. Everything on the list." You sighed, annoyed "You don't have to worry, but thank you for your concern. The doctor said Emily is fine, she's healthy and there's no reason why I should have complications during delivery."
"And you're sure Billy will call after the baby is born?"
"Yes, mother. He promised."
"Okay. Love you, sweetie."
"Love you too Mom." You said before hanging up the receiver.
You checked the list and made sure everything was in the bag one last time before zipping it shut. With a small smile you looked around Emily's nursery, stopping when your eyes landed on her crib. Knowing you would finally soon be holding her in your arms or watching her sleep had your heart skipping a few beats.
---
It was sometime that day when you felt the gush of liquid run down the insides of your thighs. Your water had broke. On the way to the hospital Billy tried to help calm you as your contractions started to hit your body.
"You're three centimeters dilated." The nurse said as she then attached the fetal monitor and leaving the room after the machine reached the nurse's approval.
You hissed at the contraction that shot through you. Billy placed a hand to your belly and nudged you with his nose, purring to try and sooth the pain. The pain was gone, but there was still pressure, but you could feel Emily slowly moving further down.
"I can sense her. She's more than ready to be born." A small smile crept on Billy's face.
---
Y/N smiled as she sorted through the piles of clothes in front of her. It almost seemed like she's more than ready to give birth but really, she wasn't sure mentally. The fact that everyone in Hawkins would be gawking at her progeny isn't something she's prepared for. At least Emily will be covered in her's and Billy's scent. The thought about the future after Emily crossed her mind. She would probably be an only child unless Billy wants another one. Which he possibly will.
"What are you smiling about?" Billy knelt down beside her and planted a kiss to her temple.
"I'm just happy that we'll finally be holding Emily in our arms soon. To hear her giggles and other little sounds she'll make."
The Alpha purrs against her neck "Me too, Omega. Me too."
Billy sensed every emotion the Omega is feeling. Even the worrying. The worrying she has about some saying Billy wouldn't make a good father because of what happened to him. Only reason he hasn't let anything get to him is because of his mate. He would prove them wrong. All of them.
---
"Almost there Omega. You're doing great."
Over the next few hours you tried to find different positions to get comfortable but unfortunately your body wasn't having it. Billy never left your side, not for anything. He held you when you were on the verge of howling due to very painful contractions. Finally when you reached then centimeters, it was time to push. When you wanted to give up Billy reminded you how much of a miracle Emily is, reminded you how strong you are.
After four more pushes the pain was over and you heard a cry as well as smelling the scent of Emily. The doctor that pulled Emily from you laid her on your chest as your looked at Billy, who was trying to hold back the tears at the sight of his daughter. You looked at her in your arms and smiled, this baby that Billy helped create, this baby that grew in your womb over the past nine months was the only thing that mattered.
---
An hour after Emily's birth they moved you to a regular hospital room while the nurse took Emily for health checks and a dynamic check but it wasn't clear what she is.
"The doctor and nurse said she hasn't presented yet but they're sure she will later in age."
Billy stroked Emily's cheek gently "It doesn't matter what she is Alpha, Beta or Omega she's perfect."
The happiness that filled Billy's heart was something he's never felt before and right in front of him is a reason for that happiness.
S.T. REWRITE - S2:E2; Chapter Two, Trick or Treat, Freak - [Pt. 2]
A Will Byers x Reader Series
After Will sees something terrible on trick-or-treat night, Mike wonders whether Eleven’s still out there. Tensions grow between Y/n and Mike as does their concern for Will.
Tumblr media
A//N: This chapter is slightly different cause I realized I'm a complete Doof™, and I had Max and reader meet twice. It had been so long since I wrote MADMAX, that I forgot they met in the arcade lol. So if you've read this before, the scene in the hallway is different.
||Reader's POV||
"Well, good new is, this is only slightly humiliating," I mumble.
I was doing the best I could to shrink back and be as hard to notice as possible, even though I know it's a lost cause.
Unfortunately, the boys all had the same thought and I had been slowly pushed front in center.
"Oh, my God," Someone laughed.
I did my best to let the side comments and laughter slide off my back.
"Maybe its's not so bad," I tried.
"That's easy for you to say [Y/N], you're not in a proton pack and jumpsuit." Lucas said.
I winced. He did have a point, their costumes are a bit more obvious than mine.
"When do people make these decisions?" Dustin said.
I heard Will speak up behind me. "Everyone dressed up last year."
"Yeah! I mean, who are they to judge, he went as Frankenstein's monster last year, and no one laughed despite that being super played out." My anger was getting the best of me, and I made direct eye contact and let my voice rise as I uttered those last words.
The boy I had targeted, covered his laughs with a cough and grew silent fairly quickly. At least I shut someone up.
"It's a conspiracy, I'm telling you."
"Just be cool" Mike encouraged.
I took a deep breath in, and that's when we all heard some prick speak out. "Who you gonna call? The nerds!"
I had a million things I wanted to say to that kid but nevertheless I took another deep breath in. That's wen I felt a hand grab my own, and I knew it was Will. I gave his hand a light squeeze as a silent thank you and kept walking.
+++
...three to the right, four to the left.
I mindlessly repeat the combination in my head as I've done a thousand times before at this school and my locker opens once again. I let it swing open and I sigh. I pull the fake glasses off my head and fold them, putting them on the small shelf in the locker space. I reach forward and grab my textbook and notebook after scanning for them. It's then that I barely make out my brother's voice.
"...so you probably don't have any friends to take you trick-or-treating,"
I frown and look over to find them just down the hall. Talking to Max. Or, attempting to at least. I continue to exchange my things and get ready for the next class. Although, I can't help but wince when I hear him continue.
"and you're scared of bullies, so we were thinking that it would be okay if you come with us."
My eyes widened slightly, and I took that as my cue.
"'It'd be okay'?"
My eyes widened slightly and I took that as my cue to jump in. I closed my locker and quickly reset the dial.
"Yeah. Our party's a democracy, and the majority voted that you could come."
I quickly made my way over, my things held tightly against my chest. I smiled and spoke up.
"Hey guys," I chirped. I made eye contact with Max and I chose my words carefully. "How are you guys?"
I ignored the frantic and slightly confused looks Dustin and Lucas were desperately trying to send my way.
Max smiled knowingly at me.
"I'm good." And I knew, just like me, she had a double meaning to that.
She turned back to the guys and plastered on a fake smile.
"I didn't realize it was such an honor to go trick-or-treating with you." I couldn't help but smirk at that.
"Yeah, I mean, we know where to get the full-sized candy bars. We figured you'd want in."
Her eyes squinted ever so slightly. "That's presumptuous of you."
I stood there awkwardly before I recalled that Max and I had our next class together.
Desperately wanting to change the subject, I smiled and turned to her. She was already closing her locker.
"Wanna head to class?"
"Sure thing." She smiled, and the two of us walked away, leaving the boys a gaping mess.
I felt kinda bad for the guys, but at the same time, I hadn't realized how nice, and refreshing it was to have another female friend for once.
||3rd person POV||
Max felt a looming sense of dread knowing it was time to go home. Which meant another painful care ride with him. She hated even being around him, he made her life a living hell. As she skated across the parking lot, she knew he was gonna threaten her in some way for being late. She didn't feel bad though, of course.
"You're late again."
"Yeah, I had to get catch-up homework." She mumbled, opening the passenger door and climbing in.
"Jesus. I don't care. You're late again, and you're skating home. Do you hear me?"
+++
Max sits quietly, wishing with all of her might that the car ride could just be over.
Billy, her older step-brother blasts the song Wango Tango as he drives, wrecklously down the road. He scoffs.
"God, this place is such a shithole."
Max thinks of the [Y/N], the only girl who had actually been nice to her, despite her own short temper. Her only real friend since moving here.
"It's not that bad,"
He looks at her, and she knows - she knew as soon as she said something, anything, Billy would find away to use that against her. And sure enough.
"No?" He said, angrily.
She watched as he reached for the window mechanism and rolled down her window. He watched smugly as she winced at the smell and harsh wave of cold crisp air. He took a deep breath, and pulled his nose.
"You smell that, Max? That's actually shit. Cow shit."
"I don't see any cows." She said, matter-of-factly, reaching over and rolling up the windows.
"Clearly, you haven't met the high-school girls."
Max's head threw itself back at the headrest at the comment. She felt her anger boiling up, but she tried to keep it down.
"So what, you like it here now?" He snapped.
"No," she said defensively.
"Then why are you defending it?"
"I'm not."
Max knew he was getting angry again. He knew his pattern by now and she knew he was already up to no good. He loved to corner her.
"Sure sounds like it," He said calmly.
Max hated it when he got calm like this. It always meant he was going to snap. Go too far. Her heart began to pound. She shook her head, tying to regain her composure.
"It's just we're stuck here, so..."
"Hmm. You're right. We're stuck here," She felt his head turn and his eyes zero in on her. "and whose fault is that?"
"yours."
His attention when back to the road. She couldn't help it, her anger was getting the best of her, and the answer came out in a weak whisper she prayed he didn't hear. But he did, and she knew
he was going to do anything to make her pay.
He looked at her, then back at the road but then back at her. "What'd you say?"
Max felt like she was shrinking. "Nothing," She mumbled, quickly.
Billy got calm again. Her heart began to beat faster once more. "Did you say it's my fault?"
"No," she said quickly.
"You know whose fault it is."
She stayed quiet. Max knew anything she said would it would piss him off. Her words failed her.
"Say it,"
Her eyes began to burn, but she refused to cry. He always made her feel weak and powerless and she knew she might not be able to do anything now, but she sure as hell wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of seeing her cry.
"Max..." He said lowly, drawing out her name. "Say it." He growled.
He whirled towards her in his seat, his face inches away from hers. His face was completely red as he screamed his throat raw. "Say it!"
She closed her eyes tried to ignore him. Even though she could feel his spit on her face, and his screams were loud enough to vibrate the car. She couldn't let him see how he got to her.
He returned to road, and reached for the volume dial, cranking it all the way up. His foot stomped on the gas and the car was suddenly going unnaturally fast. Billy threw his hands on wheel to every beat of the song.
She let him take it out on the car, grateful it wasn't her. But she knew there was nothing she could do to stop him anyway, right?
She was prepared to make it through the rest of the car ride, but her pounding heart stopped, her breath hitched and her eyes went wide when she saw four figures on their bikes in the middle of the road, not far up ahead.
"Billy, slow down." She said, quickly.
"Oh, these your new hick friends?" he asked, a scary gleam in his eye.
She quickly shook her head. "No! I don't know them."
"I guess you won't care if I hit 'em, then?"
Max knew Billy was crazy. He was out of his damn mind, but what terrified her most, was that she truly and honestly did not know if he was crazy enough to hit some kids with his car. She felt sick to her stomach, everything was going too fast and her heart began pounding faster and faster.
"I get bonus points, I get 'em all in one go?" he asked excitedly.
The car was getting close and just like that, her fear was quickly replaced by anger and her adrenaline was pumping. She whirled herself around all the way to face her nasty scum of a step-brother and her voice was rising. "No, Billy, stop. It's not funny."
His body kept dancing, his head bobbing and hands drumming themselves against the steering wheel, but his head turned to her and his eyes were stone cold. He had no emotion in his face and it was enough to send a chill down her spine, but she knew now wasn't the time. He stomped on the gas pedal and the car roared.
Max wondered to herself why and how in the hell do these idiots not here this car and why the hell aren't they moving?!
She kept an eye on the road, the kids, the girl - [Y/N] - noticed the car coming first.
'Why the hell, aren't they moving?' she thought.
Max found her voice one more and screamed at the top her lungs. "Billy, come on, stop it. It's not funny. Stop!" The car got faster.
What she feared most was coming true. He snapped, and he might as well have been in trance cause he was laser focused, she was positive he hadn't even blinked, and she knew it didn't matter whether or not he had any intention of stopping. She couldn't afford to sit around and wait, they were only a few feet in front of them.
"Billy, stop it!"
With a racing heart, Max lunged forward, gripping the steering wheel and the car swerved to the left, just in the nick of time.
Billy came to life and started shouting again. "Yeah! That was a close one, huh?"
He let out a wild and crazed laugh, and Max whipped around in her seat, peering out the back to see her classmates emerging form the leaves on the side of the road. She was unable to get a good look, the car was over the hill within seconds and they were out of sight. But she breathed a sigh of relief knowing they were alive.
3 Year (Billy Hargrove x reader) SMUT
This is a request I got from the lovely @montanagirlatheart
“Could I request an imagine where the reader knew Billy/Max in Cali. They were dating but broke up when he moved. Max calls to tell her how bad he’s gotten. Her family ends up moving to Hawkins and she doesn’t tell him. She shows up at school to surprise him! He’s excited but feels bad about the girls he’s been with. She gets jealous cuz they’re all skinny/pretty. If it could be with a not skinny but a little bit bigger reader too? Billy has to win her back? Also smut always welcome! Thanks!“
I switched it up a little bit but I hope you all love it! REQUESTS ARE OPEN LOVES
                                -------------------------------------
“Wait. What?” you said as tears pricked the corners of your eyes. You mouth hung open, unsure of what to say.
“Babe, shh, it’s okay, c’mere,” Billy said, pulling you in to his open arms.
“W-what do you mean you’re moving? You can’t move! What about school? Your friends? What about me…” your voice trailed off as you started to reluctantly accept that your boyfriend was moving across the country.
“I know sweetheart, I know. It won’t be for very long though alright? I’m just gonna finish high school then I’m gonna come right back.”
“You promise?” you said, sniffling as the tears streamed steadily down your face.
“I promise.”
                      ————————————————————-
3 YEARS LATER
“Honey, is everything packed? Are you ready to go?” you mother shouted, her voice echoing throughout the house. You sighed and threw your things sloppily in to a suitcase.
Billy had promised to come back to California. He promised he would come back to you but he lied. 3 years passed and you never heard from him again. To say you were sad would be a harsh understatement. You were devastated, you couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t really do anything. You lived each day in misery until you just became numb.
What were the chances that your dad would get a job offer at Hawkins Lab, the same Hawkins that your beloved Billy had left you for. You looked at the framed picture you still kept of you and Billy at your first school dance. He was so cute with his baby blue eyes, his blonde curls, and a goofy smile as he held you with everything he had. You never stopped loving him, and as dumb as you felt not getting over the boy who broke your heart, you felt that a part of you would never stop loving him.
“Y/N let’s go! The cab’s going to be here soon!” your father yelled.
“I’m coming!” you screamed back. As much as you knew you shouldn’t, you threw the old photo in your suitcase and zipped it up, dragging your suitcase down the hall.
The drive to the airport was brief and before you knew it you had stepped foot in to the bustling airport. You were miserable. You didn’t want to leave California, it was your home. You loved the beach, the waves, the palm trees, even the sketchy Chinese food place down the road.
“Come on sweetie, it’ll be great! It’s an adventure. You’ll make friends before you know it,” your mother said with a kind smile. You gave her a look of disappointment laced with a tinge of anger. “Now honey, I know it’s not what you wanted but it’ll be good for us. Your father got a new job, pays a heck of a lot better than his old one, and it’s a cute little town.” Your mother was the kindest woman on the planet, always looking on the bright side of things. You rested your head on her shoulder and patiently waited for your flight to be called over the loud intercom.
You soon boarded the plane and shut your eyes, hoping to get some sleep before you entered hell. After what felt like five minutes your mother nudged you awake.
“We’re here honey, time to wake up!” your mother said excitedly. You groaned and opened your eyes, taking a moment to adjust to the sunlight pouring in through the window. Your trudged to the exit of the plane before stepping off, headed towards your new life.
“I don’t understand why I couldn’t just stay in California. I’m 19, I’m an adult,” you huffed.
“Now honey, you might think you’re an adult but you’re so young, you’ve got plenty of time,” your dad said gleefully. You rolled your eyes and waited for your luggage to come around the belt before following your parents to the car they had rented for the time being.
The drive wasn’t too short but you groaned at the sight of the cheesy “Welcome to Hawkins” sign you drove past. You took in the small town around you, seeing the middle school and high school, an arcade, a grocery store, and not much else. You rolled your eyes and threw your head back against the head rest. You pulled in to the driveway of a small white house, cute but small, but nothing compared to your house in California.
Once you had unpacked what you could and settled in you took a deep breath.
“We don’t even have a couch. Or beds. Or anything for that matter,” you yelled, frustrated at the whole situation.
“Well honey, they were supposed to arrive with us but turns out they’re coming in tomorrow so we’ll just have to make do with what we have,” you mother explained.
“With what mom? We have literally nothing. We have our clothes.”
“Now honey don’t yell at your mother,” your father intervened. “We rented a hotel room for the night until our things get delivered tomorrow.” You sighed heavily and turned around, pinching the bridge of your nose in an effort to relieve yourself of the headache that had been growing.
“I’m going for a walk, I’ll see you later.”
“Bu-“ Your mother pushed down your fathers hand and looked at you.
“Go ahead sweetie, be back before dark,” your mother said as she offered you a kind smile.
—————————————
The grocery store was empty, not surprising in a hick town like this. You looked around grabbing yourself a pack of sour gummy worms and headed up to the front.
“And a pack of Camels please,” the cashier nodded and grabbed your things, placing them on the counter in front of you.
“That’ll be $1.50,” she said with a smile. She had short, dark hair and friendly eyes. “You don’t look very familiar and trust me, in a town like Hawkins that not too common. What’s your name sweetie?” she said.
“Oh… Uhm Y/N.” She reached out her hand as if to shake it.
“Joyce, nice to meet you. Don’t worry, it’s not as bad as you might think Y/N,” she said with a wink as he handed you your things. You hummed and grabbed your cigarettes and candy and nodded at her with a slight smile. She waved goodbye as you exited the store in to the crisp cold. You walked around, looking at the small shops and store around you, the bustling arcade, the centre of it all.
“Y/N?” You heard a voice from behind you and you turned around. Your eyes immediately lit up as you ran towards the young girl you had always considered your little sister.
“Oh my God, Max? Holy shit, you’re not small anymore! You’ve gotten so big! Come here I missed you punk!” you said to her with open arms, a wide grin on your face. She ran towards you and wrapped her frail arms around your torso. “How have you been kid?”
“Oh Y/N, I missed you,” she said, unwilling to let you out of her arms. Every part of you wanted to ask how Billy was but you knew better than to open that door. “Why are you here?” Max questioned.
“Dad got a job at Hawkins Lab, so here I am,” you said with a smile. You heard the revving of an engine and you turned around. There he was. He looked older, more mature. He didn’t look like your Billy. You noticed his arm around a brunette, she was smacking her gum and looking at her nails but she was there with him in his car. You felt your earth shatter, your heart felt like it had been ripped from your chest and stomped on. The colour drained from the world around you and you felt like you were frozen, like you couldn’t move, you couldn’t stop staring at her, desperately wishing it was you. But you had no right to feel like that. That all stopped when he moved away and never spoke to you again. You weren’t his and he wasn’t yours anymore.
You felt a slight tug on your sleeve and you looked beside you to Max. The tears were pouring down your face, you weren’t in control of of anything anymore. She looked at you with a look of pity, a look you had always despised.
‘Y/N I-“ Your broke her off before she could finish her sentence.
“I’ll see you around Max.” A sad smile adorned your face as you turned around and left. You walked away just like he did.
                           —————————————————-
BILLY’S POV
“You’re a dumbass, you know that?” Max spat at her step brother.
“Hey! Watch who you’re talking to,” his voice boomed.
“Guess who I saw today Billy?” Max said angrily.
“Jesus, I don’t care,” he said as he lit his cigarette and continued lifting the heavy weights.
“Y/N. I saw Y/N today Billy.” He froze and the weights dropped in front of him. He slowly turned to Max, a menacing look on his face.
“What the fuck did you just say Max?” He staked towards her, slowly backing her in to the wall.
“I saw Y/N today Billy. Her dad got a job at Hawkins Lab and guess what she was welcomed with? You and some dumb bimbo you’re always with,” Max’s voice was getting louder by the second. Max had always loved Y/N. She was the only one that could get Billy to be nice to her. She was the one to protect her when things got a little rough at home. Y/N would take Max to the park and watch her skateboard or Y/N would take her to a movie. Y/N was Max’s best friend.
Billy wiped his face with his hands as he backed away. Max could see his body starting to shake with anger, she hated this Billy. So did Y/N, whenever Billy got like this she would always calm him down, a saviour to both Billy and Max. Billy paced around the room running his hands through his hair.
“FUCK,” he screamed, slamming his fist in the wall. He felt a tear slide down his cheek as he rested his head against the wall, his breaths coming out in short huffs. “Tell me again Max.”
“Her dad got a job at Hawkins Lab so they moved here. Y/N saw you in the arcade parking lot with whoever that was. She bolted Billy.” His heart was crushed. He didn’t know what to do. He loved her, he always had and he knew he always would but when they had moved his dad had cut off all ties with California, including Y/N. It was the hardest thing he had ever done so he drowned away the hole it left in his chest. He started drinking more, smoking more, he would bring random girls home every weekend, anything to forget about Y/N. He couldn’t handle the pain of being without her.
“Do you know where she’s living?” Max shook her head and stared at Billy. The bar. He knew Y/N, she had a near perfect fake ID and whenever things got to be too much for her she would head down to the bar to play some pool and have a drink. She was so predictable at times but he loved her for it.
He started up his Camaro and raced off his street to the local bar.
As he expected there she was. Beautiful, exactly how he remembered. Her long Y/H/C hair, her sparkling eyes, the way she always bit her lips when she was about to shoot. He stopped at the entrance, unsure of what to say to fix everything. He hadn’t really thought this out. Every feeling he had repressed came to the surface. He decided to bite the bullet and walk over to her. His first instinct was to turn on the charm but he knew her better than that, that would never work. She had always said Billy Hargrove you’re gonna kill me with that charm and I wanna be alive, just be yourself baby. He could hear her voice in his head as she scolded him in true Y/N form. He walked towards her, it felt like he had 75 pound weights pushing down on his chest.
“Y/N,” he mumbled, her eyes looking up to him. His favourite part about her was her smile, he lived for her smile, did everything he possibly could to see her smile, it filled him with complete and utter joy, but the look she gave him was anything but a smile. Her face stayed straight but her eyes told a different story, they screamed defeat and sadness.
Y/N POV
“Y/N.” You heard your name and you knew who it was. His voice was imprinted in your brain. The voice that once made you so happy had turned in to a voice that crushed your soul. You looked up at him, daring yourself to be brave for once. You met his eyes and you felt a tear slide down your face.
“No, no, no, baby don’t cry, I’m right here.” At one point his voice may have sounded soothing but when he reached out to wipe your tear you flinched away from him, harshly turning your head so he couldn’t see you cry. He breathed out deeply and rubbed the back of his neck. He knew you better than anyone so he knew that your sadness showed itself through anger. You may have been angry but you were devastated, all because of him. “Y/N I’m sorry. Please, please, please let me explain. We can go back to my place, I’ll make you hot chocolate, and we can talk, okay?”
“Yea? Back to your place Billy? The same place where you fucked every god damn pussy in the god forsaken town?” You were raising your voice, aware the people in the bar were diverting their eyes to the scene in front of them.
“No Y/N. It’s not what you think, please. Let me explain. You don’t have to forgive me, I fucked up, I know but please, can we talk?” You looked at his baby blue eyes, no matter how hard you tried you could never say no to those eyes. You nodded and downed your drink, walking past him to the door.
“Baby steps,” he said quietly, reminding himself that this wasn’t going to fix itself overnight. He opened the car door for you then slid in himself. You sat in silence until you pulled up to a pale yellow house. His house in California was much nicer, you thought to yourself, making a mental note of your surroundings. He led you to the front door and you were greeted by Max as soon as you stepped through the doorway.
“Hey Max, how’s it going kid?” You said with a smile that didn’t quite reach your eyes. Billy gave her a look, silently telling her to go to her room.
“Alright. Explain.”
“When mom died and he got remarried it was okay. You know everything, so I’ll skip that. When we moved here everything got worse. He started hitting me more, yelling at Susan more, yelling at Max. He’s always been an angry guy but it got worse, so much worse. He made sure that everything from California was burned. Pictures, phone number, posters, anything and everything. He took you away from me. I didn’t know what to do Y/N. I missed you so fucking much. I have thought about every single day for the past three years. I was heartbroken. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t do anything.” Hm sounds familiar, you thought to yourself.
“I had this hole in me. This deep hole in my heart that I couldn’t get rid of. I tried to forget about you but I couldn’t do it. You were in my every thought, God I just loved you so much and I didn’t have you with me so I tried to find other ways to cope. I started drinking more, smoking more, I was so angry that he took you away from me that I started to take it out on other people.” You sighed and closed your eyes. This wasn’t your Billy. He paused for a moment, thinking of his next move.
“And what about the girls Billy? Y’know, I never touched another man since you left. I couldn’t without thinking of you. You were my everything Billy and you just left.”
“YOU THINK I HAD A FUCKING CHOICE Y/N,” you were used to his yelling, an unfortunate trait he had inherited from his father. You looked at him, unfazed by his yelling. “Leaving you destroyed me Y/N. I haven’t fucked another girl in three year Y/N cause all I saw was you, crying when I left you. I couldn’t do that to you. I felt so guilty Y/N, I thought that maybe if I tried to be with other girls it would get better. That maybe I would forget for a while but I couldn’t. I just couldn’t.” He was looking down, shaking his and and you could see the tears fall on to the table.
“Billy I needed you and you didn’t even try to contact me. I waited for you. I waited for a call, a letter, something!” You were getting heated, you could feel the blood rush to the tips of your ears. You stood up, turning so you could take a deep breath. He followed suit and came to stand behind you, wrapping his arms around you as if you weren’t hurt. You pushed him off and pushed his chest. He stumbled backwards but never once did he retaliate.
“I. Hate. You. Billy. Hargrove,” you said, lightly punching his chest after every word. Before you could control yourself you collapsed in his arms, a loud sob leaving you trembling lips. “God I hate you so much. I cried for you Billy.” He wrapped his arms around you and you sunk in to his warm chest. He placed a daring kiss on the top of your head and rested his chin atop your head.
“Shh baby girl, I’m here. I’m right here with you.” He soothingly rubbed your back as you cried, letting out all the pent up emotions you had felt for years. He kissed your head once again, wrapping his arms around you tighter. “I love you Y/N. I always have, and I always will.” You sniffled and pulled away, looking deep in his ocean blue eyes. You could see his eye were bloodshot, a sign that he had been crying just like you. You wrapped your own arms around him, breathing in his cologne.
“Billy is this new cologne?” you said, your face scrunching up in displeasure.
“Yea, it is, you like it?” he said with a goofy smile.
“No Billy, it’s awful! What happened to your old one?”
“I wanted to switch it up!” You laughed, enduring the awful smell, you relaxed your head back on his chest.
“Next thing we’re doing is getting rid of that cologne. I like your old one so much better. You smell like an… old man in a nursing home,” you said as you giggled.
“Old man! I’ll show you who’s an old man babe,” he said with a wink. “That is, if you want to. I love you Y/N. You mean everything to me. I want you back Y/N, I’m lost without you.” You nodded and he took your hand, leading you towards his bedroom.
                               ——————————————-
Sex with Billy had always been amazing. He left you speechless every time. He was a selfless lover, always putting you before himself; he would make sure that you reached your climax well before he did, leaving you a content, sensitive mess. He could be so gentle and loving, showing his every emotion through his actions or he could be rough and domineering, either way you were always left satisfied.
His large hands groped your breasts as your lips connected in a fiery kiss. He ran his hands along your body, making sure to touch every inch of your precious body. His hands ran over your supple stomach, his favourite part of your body. He would always say how much he loves it cause it’s just so cute and squishy. He loved your stomach, he could spend hours kissing you all over. He slid down your body, his fingertips leaving a gentle touch on your thighs - another part of you he adored always saying that they were the perfect pillow because he didn’t have to leave you.
“God you’re so beautiful Y/N. Just love everything about you.” He popped the button on your jeans and slid the zipper down as he yanked your pants down you legs. He groaned at the smell of your wet pussy god how he missed that smell. He pulled your panties down as well leaving your bottom half exposed to him.
“Billy,” you said in a strangled tone. It had been so long since someone had touched you so intimately. He looked up at you with raised eyebrows, allowing you to continue your sentence. “Billy I love you but enough foreplay. I need you so bad right now, I’m dripping for you,” you begged. He stood up and towered over you. He had definitely grown since the last time you saw him. He stood tall and muscular before you, his soft tan skin stretched over the muscles he had acquired. He looked at you with a lopsided smirk and you knew you had started something. His lips smashed against yours, his hands placed on your cheeks as if he never wanted to let go.
“Y/N I love you so much but this is not the time for gentle,” he said, a devilish smiled adorned his face. You absolutely loved this side of him. “Now Y/N, you’re gonna be a good girl for me alright?” You nodded your head frantically. “Take your top off princess and lay on the bed.” God you loved it when he called you princess.
You did as he asked and pulled your top over your head in what you hoped was a sexy manner. He smiled and flattened the hair that had lifted in the process. You did as he asked and laid down. You looked up to him awaiting his next move.
“Billy please,” your said quietly, your eyes fluttering shut. He stood at the end of the bed and thought of his next move.
“On all fours baby, I changed my mind.” You switched positions without thinking twice, your bare cunt was on display for him, glistening under the soft glow in his room. You heard his deep breaths behind you as he grabbed and played with your thick ass cheeks. His thumb briefly ran over your pussy, collecting some of the wetness that had gathered. ‘All for me baby?”
“All for you… Daddy.” He always loved that term. It would turn him ravenous, as if he could never fill his desire for you completely. He growled and before yu could say another word he plunged himself in to you. He’s a lot bigger than I remembered, you thought to yourself. He started pumping mercilessly, filling you completely with his huge cock.
“You like that baby girl? You like when Daddy pounds your pretty little pussy. God I missed you.” You moaned at his words, unsure if you could vocalize what you were thinking. “Answer me princess,” he said with a harsh slap to your ass.
“Yes! Yes I love it! I love when you fuck me Daddy. I love it so much, slap my ass baby,” you screamed for him. His hand came down once your bonding ass cheek once again, a flood of wetness pouring over his cock.
“That’s it baby girl, nice and wet for Daddy.” His filthy mouth only turned you on further and you could feel your release building.
“I’m so close, fuck keep going. I need you so bad, cum for me Daddy,” you begged.
“You want Daddy’s cum?” His pace picked up and he was ramming his hard cock in to your thirsty cunt. With a final smack to your bum you came. Hard. You came all over his cock, egging on his release. You convulsing pussy pushed him over the edge and he was coating your walls with his cum. You both moaned at the feeling of your mutual release before collapsing on his bed. He slipped his dick out and you both winced at the loss of contact.
“I love you,” you mumbled in to his chest as he pulled you in.
“I love you more,” he countered.
“I’ve gotta pee babe, where’s your washroom?” You grabbed his shirt and pulled it over your head, grabbing your panties and sliding them on as well.
“First door on your left babe.” You exited the room and quickly found the washroom. As you exited you saw Max standing in the hallway, waiting for the bathroom after you.
“You guys are gross, can you be quieter next time?” Max said. You blushed and nodded, rushing back to Billy’s room.
You snuggled in beside him and wrapped your arms around his torso.
“I have to go Billy,” you said quietly. He groaned and pulled you in tighter. “I’m serious! You know my parents, if I’m not back soon they’ll freak and knock on every door in town. He huffed and reluctantly stepped out of the bed, grabbing pants and throwing you a pair of his sweats - you always loved to wear his clothes, it made you feel safe.
He pulled out of the driveway and sped towards your house, giving you a passionate kiss before letting you get up.
“I’ll see you tomorrow Hargrove, I love you,” you said as you blew him a kiss.
“I love Y/N, I’m taking you on a date tomorrow,” he yelled as you stepped away from the vehicle. He sighed as he watched you walk off and he smiled, genuinely smiled, for the first time in 3 years.
This dinner was thrilling.
No really, it was the highlight of your life. Your mother and Neill sat at the heads of the table. You and Max were sitting together on one side of the table while Billy sat on the other. You were sure that no more than fifteen words had been uttered since you all sat down.
“So Billy,” Susan spoke up after a while and looked over at him. “Where will you be going tonight?”
You held yourself back from rolling your eyes at the lame attempt at striking up a conversation. You watched as Billy slowly turned his head towards your mother.
“Out,” he kept it short and sweet.
“Where will you be going out?” Neill decided that it would be a good time to participate in the conversation and you knew it could only go down hill from there.
“I’m going to a party,” Billy muttered underneath his breath.
“I’m sorry, did your forget something?” Neill taunted him. You hated Billy, you really did, but you wanted to get up and punch Neill for how obnoxious he could be.
“I’m going to a party, sir,” Billy glared over at his father.
“Oh!” Susan said with a small smile. She leaned onto the table and looked over you. You knew what was coming next. “Sweetie, why don’t you go with Billy?It’s a good chance for you two to catch up and make new friends.”
“No thanks,” you shot that idea down quickly.
“Left behind your party days huh, Y/N?” Billy looked over at you with that arrogant smirk you hated so much.
You chose to ignore his comment and kept looking at your mother as you spoke, “I will drop off Max to wherever she needs to go and then come back here to finish unpacking.”
“Oh okay,” Susan nodded her head a bit and then the table went silent.
You turned your head and caught Billy staring you down. Your eyebrow arched as you stared back at him, almost challenging him to say anything to you. He didn’t take the bait and instead, pushed himself from the table without another word.
You took that as a cue that dinner had officially ended and looked over at Max, asking her if she was ready to go. She jumped up and ran out to her room so she could get her things.
“I’ll be back later tonight. Don’t wait up for me,” you said to your Mom. You moved to your room to grab your leather jacket and slid it over your arms, pushing your feet into your shoes. You snatched your car keys up and met up with Max in the hallway, who was holding on to a Michael Myers mask.
You snorted and pointed to the mask, “Really?”
“Michael Myers is awesome, Y/N,” she grinned up at you which caused you to laugh and swing your arm around her shoulder.
The two of you moved out to the Challenger and you held the door open for her so she could climb in. Once you were seated and Max was buckled in, you started the engine and pulled away from the house. “Where am I taking you?”
“Just a few blocks. There’s this area that all of the kids hit so I figured I’d run around,” she shrugged her shoulders a bit.
You nodded your head and glanced over at her, your voice soft, “Are you hanging out with those boys that were on the bikes before?”
Max’s face turned red as she inhaled and she quickly shook her head, “No. I don’t have friends here.”
“Okay,” you left the subject alone but you reached over to touch her shoulder gently. “I don’t want you to be afraid of settling in and making friends, Max.”
“I’m not,” she tried to deny it.
“I’m not saying that you are, kid,” you sighed. “But I know this move was hard, especially since I didn’t make it with you, and for that I am sorry. I want you to know that I’m here now though and I’m not going anywhere, okay?”
Max nodded her head slowly and reached up to squeeze your hand. “Mom told me about George, Y/N,” she whispered.
You breathed in suddenly and pulled your hand away at the mention of your ex-boyfriend. “We’re not talking about that now or never,” you muttered underneath your breath and the two of you went silent.
A few minutes later you pulled over to the side so Max could climb out and join the rest of the trick or treaters. You told her to have fun and she gave you a small smile before she climbed out, and you watched her for a minute to make sure she would be okay. After a few minutes you pulled away, whispering to herself, “Now let’s go find dear stepbrother Billy!’
You drove around Hawkins for a while, trying to find a house that looked like it was being the host of an unsupervised Halloween party and it did not take you long at all. Cars lined the streets and you could hear music fill the air. Teens littered the lawn as they pushed their way into the house. You brought your car to a stop and took a deep breath. This was the last place you wanted to be, but you had to get Billy alone without Max, your Mom and Neill around.
You left your car and locked it up before you started walking over to the house. You pushed the door open and pushed your way through a group of people, looking around slowly. Mötley Crüe was blasting through the speakers and you took your time walking around the house to see if you could catch a glimpse of Billy. It didn’t take you too long.
He was making his way over to a couple pressed up against the wall. The girl was looking over at Billy with a concerned face as the guy pulled his sunglasses off, staring him down. There were two other guys behind Billy, patting his shoulders and egging on the one in the blazer.
“Yeah. Eat it, Harrington!”
You stepped over just as the girl walked away and stood behind everyone, shouting loudly over the music, “I see you’ve found yourself some cronies, Billy!”
He turned slowly and the other two looked at you with confused expressions, or maybe that was how they always looked. You weren’t sure. The one in the blazer took off and ran after his girlfriend.
Billy glared at you and you smirked.
“What the fuck are you doing here?” he practically spat the words at you.
“I came to visit my brother!” you smiled widely.
“Whoa! This is your sister?” One of the guys looked you up and down slowly, causing you to roll your eyes.
“She is not my sister,” Billy growled.
You pouted, “Well that’s not very nice.”
“What do you want, Mayfield?”
“You and I need to have a little heart to heart. Let’s go,” you turned your back to him as you made your way out to the backyard. He followed, without his cronies trailing after him, and you kept walking until you two were completely alone.
You spun around and pushed his chest violently, glaring at him. He stumbled back and breathed in, his eyes lighting up with anger.
“Who the fuck do you think you are?” you yelled at him. “You could have killed those kids!”
“You mean Max’s little hick friends?” he started to laugh slowly and held his cigarette up to his lips, taking a slow drag of it. He blew the smoke in your face and you held you breath. “I would’ve been doing this town a favor by running them down.”
“You’re an asshole,” you snapped at him. “Whatever you’ve been doing to Max while I was gone stops now. If I see you even blink in her direction or in the directions of any of her friends, I swear to you that I will make your life a living hell.”
“You’re not gonna do shit to me, princess,” Billy continued to laugh, completely unaffected by your threats. “Why don’t you get back in your car, drive all the way back to California, and stay with George? Oh wait...” Billy gasped a bit and held his hand up to his mouth. “You can’t because-”
Your hand swung back and came in contact with his face as you slapped him hard, the sound reverberating. His face snapped to the side and he slowly turned it back towards you, whispering dangerously, “You’re going to regret that.”
“Not as much as you’ll regret hurting my sister and those kids once I’m done with you,” you spit down at his shoes and he turned away, rushing back to the house.
You stayed behind to get yourself together. You could feel your chest tightening up and you leaned forward, breathing in and breathing out slowly. You kept your eyes shut tight and stood like that for quite some time before you felt good enough to walk back into the house so you could leave.
Duran Duran was playing now and you pushed your way around people to try and find the exit. You jumped back as someone rushed in front of you and you looked over, seeing that it was the guy wearing the black blazer. He had his head down and was rushing for the front door. You followed him, not because you were creepy but because you two were leaving, but you noticed that he seemed to be stumbling over his own two feet and couldn’t get his car open.
You slowly made your way over to him, hearing him mutter under his breath, “Bullshit...doesn’t love me, it’s all bullshit...”
He dropped his keys and cursed, and that’s when you stepped in. “Hey,” you called out to him. “Are you okay?”
He looked up at you and you could see that he had been crying. He looked away quickly and cleared his throat, speaking up a little, “Yeah I’m fine.”
“Okay well you seem a little drunk so I don’t think driving is the best thing for you right now,” you took a step closer to him.
“Trust me, I’m fine. I can drive,” he tried reassuring you.
Something in you snapped and you reached forward to snatch his keys from the ground. He jumped up and yelled, trying to reach forward to grab them but you jumped back.
“My car is down this street,” you said. “Let me give you a ride and you can come back tomorrow to get it.”
Without saying another word, you started to walk off. Whether he followed you or not wasn’t a problem. You had his keys and the world wouldn’t have to worry about a drunk driver.
You unlocked your car and turned your head, seeing that he had in fact followed you. The two of you climbed in without speaking and you drove away.
After a while, you looked over at him and asked, “You gonna tell me your address or not?”
He muttered it under his breath as he gazed out of the window. Silence filled the car again and you focused on driving instead of what had happened to make this guy so miserable.
About ten minutes later, you pulled up a house that seemed pretty empty. “Is this your place?” you asked him.
He nodded his head and without saying anything, not even a proper thank you, he reached between you two to grab his keys and stepped out of the car, practically dragging himself to his front door.
“You’re welcome!” you shouted after him before shaking your head, putting the car back in drive. “Un-fucking-believable,” you cursed as you drove away, the tires screeching as you slammed your foot on the gas.
Welcome to Hawkins, Indiana. Everything here will suck.
Tumblr media
It was October and your birthday was only a few short days away. When you were a kid, your mom had always invited as many family members as possible over to watch you blow out the candles on your cake and you’d hated it more and more each year. The only person close to you in age was your older sister and your relationship had always been… strained, to put it kindly. Maybe you should’ve been happy to have your living room and dining room crammed full of family members eager to see you grow, but it mostly made you want to crawl out of your own skin.
“No seas grosera, no seas caprichosa, no seas malcriada,” your mom would hiss at you whenever you’d catch her alone and tell her you wanted everyone to leave already. And you didn’t want to be bad, so you’d stay in your itchy dress and your jacket that always pinched your armpits and you’d smile wide with a clenched jaw until your house was finally empty. You’d curl up on your top bunk in the room you shared with your sister and read under your thin covers with a flashlight you’d stolen from the kitchen until she told you to stop fucking around and let her sleep.
As you got older, you drew less and less attention to your birthday. You were never very good at being the center of attention and your friends back in Miami had mostly respected that. Usually, you, Jorge, Laura, and whoever else you were on good terms with at the moment would spend the day at an arcade before getting dinner and meeting up in your living room to watch cartoons. You always opened your presents alone after they left. In a weird way, that was one thing you were happy about with Hawkins. Nobody other than your mom and sister knew your birthday, not even David. Not even Billy.
The two of you were in his Camaro again, panting in your respective seats in the front as the sweat on your body cooled. In your blissful, fucked-out headspace, you were glad you’d given Billy another chance to prove himself. He was a ravenous fucking animal. You knew your legs would be sore tomorrow, knew you had bright hickeys all over your tits and you loved it. It was late. It was always late when you and Billy saw each other and you preferred it that way. It felt like a clear, impenetrable barrier that kept the two of you at arm’s length. When the sun’s out, Billy goes to school and you rollerskate around your neighborhood, chainsmoking and chewing cinnamon gum just to keep your mouth busy, just to do something. Just to be out of the house.
You turned your head to look at Billy’s profile. He’d already lit a cigarette and it was dangling from his lips as he bobbed his head to the rock music streaming softly from his car’s speakers. You thought he’d be the type to blast it while he fucked you, so loud that the beat would be deeper inside you than his dick could ever hope to reach, but he’d surprised you. Well, maybe surprised wasn’t the right word because he’d been the exact kind of cocky little shithead you’d expected him to be when he’d leaned down with a smirk on his face and whispered in your ear, “I don’t wanna’ miss a thing, sweetheart, so c’mon, get nice and loud for me.” You had screamed so loud, you were worried for a second you’d actually hurt his ears, digging your short nails into his meaty shoulders when he egged you on, urging you to get louder, louder.
You could go for another round, but you knew Billy was probably all tapped out for the night and it made you want to pout as your eyes raked over his naked torso. “Do you work out?” you finally asked, needing to break the silence so you wouldn’t come onto him and show him just how desperate you were. “Or are you just an athlete? Like, at school.”
“Both.”
Of course it was both. You tore your eyes away and pulled your panties back on. They’d been dangling from your ankle the whole time since you’d already lost a pair somewhere in his cramped car. You were convinced he’d stolen them and kept them as a trophy like some fucking creep, but you didn’t care enough to bother him about it. The pair you’d lost hadn’t been particularly nice anyway. You got dressed quietly as Billy just pulled his jeans and button-up back on, leaving his t-shirt in the backseat. The windows were open and he was driving like a huge dick, as always, but you didn’t mind. Back in Miami, you’d dated a girl named Robin who drove like this and you’d always felt at home in her car, both the front seat and the back. Billy could hit 120 and you wouldn’t even flinch. There were times when you were drunk or high, trying to ignore some tense confrontation with your family, that you’d actually beg him to drive faster or turn harder, feeling the danger and adrenaline rushing through your veins like the roar of a crowd at a heavy metal concert. This wasn’t one of those times, though. He was cruising at a cool 85, drumming his thumbs on his steering wheel as you both smoked. The drive back to the gas station by your house was almost over before you spoke again.
“Where do you work out? I’ve only seen one gym around town.”
“I work out at home.”
“Can I join you sometime?” He snorted. “What?”
“No offense, girlie, but…” He waved dismissively at your small frame as he was making a turn, jerking the car back into the right lane when he put his hand back on the steering wheel. “You’re fucking tiny. I don’t have any five pound dumbbells for you.”
“Five pounds? I used to hit the gym, a lot. I’ve been wanting to go back.” He hummed, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips and filling you with hot shame. “Whatever, Hargrove, forget I fucking asked.”
“Jesus, [Y/N/N], come on.”
“I said, forget I fucking asked,” you snapped, flicking the ash off the end of your cigarette in the wind and popping the filter back in your mouth. You finished it in less than two minutes. You always smoked too fast when you were angry. Your mistake for trying to hang out with Billy during the day, when God could see you and strike you down with a bolt of fucking lightning. The worst part was that he thought you were weak. Sure, you weren’t even five feet tall and the most you’d ever weighed was 98 pounds, but you worked in a fucking meat department. You carried boxes full of frozen bones, you cut up whole pigs, you slung giant roasts over your shoulders before slamming them down on a cutting board and carving them up. You weren’t weak just because you couldn’t bulk up like Billy because he was a guy and built different from you. Whatever. You stayed silent as you lit another cigarette, stewing in your bad mood even when you’d finally collapsed into your bed after a long shower.
It had become more and more common for Billy to join you and your little group on your drunk adventures on the weekends. David still wasn’t cool with him, but he’d probably never be, since Billy had put some kid he’d known in the hospital about a year ago. David had told you who it was, but you couldn’t remember. Not that it would’ve made a difference anyway. It wasn’t like you knew that many people by name in this fucking hick town. Despite that, though, the boys got along for your sake and you and Billy would usually sneak off to fuck or fool around somewhere relatively hidden. One night in November, you’d turned to David while Billy was in the bathroom and asked him if you could work out with him. You’d seen the weights in his room the first time you’d spent the night, but getting back into exercising hadn’t been a priority for you for a while.
“My sister,” he’d said in his big, warm, drunk voice, “of course! I’d love to!” And it made you feel so warm inside, knowing that he thought you could do it even though Billy didn’t. Even though your mom and sister didn’t like it. But that warmth was probably just the liquor. The next day, when you and David were both sober, the two of you hashed out a schedule. Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday night, you’d spend the night at his place so you could work out together in the morning, eat some lunch, and hang out for a bit before going to work on Wednesdays and Fridays. The hanging out portion usually consisted of David fixing something his mom had complained about around the house and taking the opportunity to teach you how to do it, too. On Mondays, the two of you would usually either stay at his place getting reasonably drunk and playing his Atari or head to the quarry and get high.
Your next date with Billy, if you could even call them dates (which you usually didn’t), was about two weeks after you’d started your arrangement with David. He’d shown up to your department a few days later with his stepmother’s order in his hand and a weird, nervous energy crackling around him. He was grounded, so that’s why you’d had to wait two whole weeks to get on your knees at the quarry and suck Billy’s cock while he leaned against his Camaro. You could feel his eyes on you like two searing cigarette burns, like the snake eyes you’d asked one of your friends to melt into your hips on the beach one night in Miami after you’d had too much vodka. He was hot and heavy on your tongue. Sometimes you swallowed, sometimes you didn’t. This time you didn’t, instead choosing to spit it out onto the grass before Billy hauled you up off the ground and slammed you into the side of his car, pulling you into the thick cloud of smoke he’d created while you were busy sucking him off.
You came on his fingers three times that night, not feeling the frigid air on your shaky legs even though your jeans were discarded somewhere in the weeds along with your tennis shoes. “God, look at all that fucking cum, [Y/N],” Billy whispered, pinning you against his car with his hips as he showed you the glistening wetness coating three of his fingers and the palm of his hand. He didn’t even break eye contact when he licked some of it off and your stomach fluttered as your eyes dropped to watch his tongue. “You taste like sour candy.”
You hadn’t planned on having sex with him that night, but damn, how could you not after that? You came two more times, careful not to whimper anything even vaguely resembling his name before letting him manhandle you back into your seat. He fetched your jeans and shoes, tossing them by your feet and speeding away like something awful was chasing him. Before he could get on Junction Road to head to your place, you remembered you were supposed to be spending the night at David’s. That was the whole reason you’d brought your bookbag filled with clothes along for this little “date”.
“Shit, Billy, wait,” you grumbled, waving your hands around, “don’t turn here. Keep going. Turn right on Killian Drive.”
“The fuck? Why?” he asked, but still listened to you.
“I’m spending the night at David’s.”
“What?” You had to fight the laugh clawing it’s way up your throat when you saw his hands clench on his steering wheel. You’d probably imagined it anyway.
“You didn’t know I do that? I thought I’d told you…”
“Your parents are okay with that?”
“My parents can eat a bag of frozen dicks for all I care.” He chuckled as he turned right on Killian Drive. “I’m working out with him.” You definitely didn’t imagined the way his jaw clenched and you didn’t bother to hide the Cheshire grin on your face. “You know the drill. I sleep over, we get sweaty together, we take a shower, no big deal.”
“They got a guest room?”
“Nope,” you chirped, feeling your heart soar as you finally got your revenge. “Oh, turn left here, sweet thing.” When you placed your hand on Billy’s thigh, his muscles tensed. You guided him the rest of the way and he was pulling up to David’s small house in just a few minutes. Your bag was already in your lap and ready to go.
“You know,” he said, licking his lips, “guys don’t really like girls who are too bulky.” You wanted to smack that easy smile off his face, but instead you flashed him a smile of your own and batted your lashes like a little doll.
“You know, girls don’t really like guys who are shorter than six feet or younger than them or nosy or annoying,” you said, letting your voice drip with syrupy sweetness and smiling wider as his face grew more stern. “I could go on. You want me to?”
He turned away to face the empty street ahead. “Goodnight, [Y/L/N].”
“I’ll see you around, Billy,” you giggled, slamming the door a little harder than you normally would’ve on your way out.
A week passed and suddenly Thanksgiving was just a few days away and work was crazy because everyone and their fucking mother was coming in to pick up their bullshit turkeys. Even Billy’s stepmother came by to pick one up, armed with that stupid order of hers. She was a sweet lady, but fuck, man. Who the hell needed five whole chickens skinned, deboned, and then ground twice? Who did that help? Who was that for? What kind of white nonsense was that? They had a whole wall full of ground chicken!
David hadn’t worked today, so you were probably just going to hit up the gas station down the street for a small snack before using their phone to call your mom for a ride. At least, that had been your plan until you saw Billy as you were leaving work at around 10:00 PM and, come to think of it, he’d probably been waiting for you since the store closed. He was parked across the street from the back exit, sitting on the hood of his car and smoking.
“You stalking me now, high school boy?” you called from your place on the sidewalk.
“Like I’d have to.” He smiled at you and it was all teeth, drawing you in until you were sitting on the hood of his car with him. “I wanted to ask you something,” he said after a few long, calm minutes of silence.
“Yeah?” You leaned back and blew a steady stream of cigarette smoke up towards the sky. It was ridiculous that you’d just worked in a department where the temperature was never higher than 60 degrees and you’d been working up a sweat, but out here in this freezing Hawkins Hell weather, you were shivering under three layers of clothes.
“Do you still want to work out together?”
“Oh?” You cocked an eyebrow at him, but he wasn’t looking at you, choosing instead to stare straight ahead like a statue.
“Well?” He fidgeted under your gaze, seemingly feeling your eyes on him like a couple of lead bricks.
“I thought you said you didn’t have any five pound weights for me. What, did you find some in your basement? Were they dusty?”
“Could you not be a shit about this, [Y/N/N]?”
“Only since you asked so nicely.” You leaned forward and patted his shoulder, noticing the way he jumped a little and cataloging it for later. At least he was finally looking at you. The streetlights made him look like he was cased in amber and for once his hair actually looked blonde. “I’ll do it. Besides, you could probably use a few pointers.” He chuckled. “I can only work out with you on Mondays, though.”
“That’s fine, sweetheart.” You knew he was letting you win too easily, so he probably had plans to slowly pull you away from your scheduled time with David until you weren’t lifting with him at all. A smirk crept onto your face. If Billy wanted to play, you could play. That was part of the fun, right?
The Monday before Thanksgiving, you finally entered Billy’s house for the first time. The back door led right into the small basement, which was bare expect for the weight lifting equipment and a boombox propped up on a plastic box with cassettes strewn on the floor around it. Before you’d even pulled your hair up, he made sure you knew you weren’t allowed upstairs. Like you cared. You were there to get built, not creep around his house and meet his whole fucking family.
When he gave you a pair of 20-pound weights, you scoffed at him and dropped them before making a beeline for his empty barbell so you could do your warm-up curls in peace. “You got any Duran Duran?”
“Yeah,” he said uneasily before sifting through his cassettes and shoving one in to play.
There were three fateful occasions in which Y/N and Billy would meet before even knowing each other's names. This was the first.
On a Saturday, the eldest Henderson sibling could be found in one of three places; helping Steve study in her room, simply hanging out with 'the party' wherever they wished to go, or at the Wright household gossiping with Cassidy and Beth by her side. The latter, unsurprisingly, was how the trio decided to spend their afternoon. It was the perfect location since her parents were on their fortnightly date night. They giggled, mocked and questioned until the sun had been covered by a navy blanket sprinkled with stars.
The afternoon had been perfect, home alone and able to do whatever without Mr and Mrs Wright interfering. Most of their time was spent discussing the blonde' s new neighbours; the couple had introduced themselves to Cassidy's parents earlier that day, quote-unquote seeming a little too upbeat after having to leave the golden state for somewhere like Indiana.
They were a blended family; the mother, Susan, had a young girl the same age as Dustin, with long unruly hair that matched her fiery personality perfectly. As for the father, Neil, well he had a son the same age as them. Cassidy hadn't seen his face yet, only a few quick glimpses of him through the safety of her blinds as he helped carry in boxes from the moving truck. She knew two things about the mystery boy; he had a mullet like nobody else in this small town, and, more importantly, he was the dictionary definition of jacked.
One ring to the landline had Bethany sprinting out the door, since Mrs Hart was a woman to be described as a helicopter parent and never had much trust in her daughter's two best friends. Y/N decided to stay an hour or so longer, knowing her mother didn't expect her to be home until midnight like most Saturdays. The girls tidied up all the mess they'd made that day, blaring AC/DC and Metallica as loud as possible from the speakers.
While Cassidy and Beth, and Y/N and Steve were closer to each other, the two girls singing and head-banging had bonded over liking the music their peers shunned them for.
The y/h/c girl reluctantly said goodbye to her friend and stepped out into the biting cold. Y/N was a little idiotic, wearing nothing but a black denim mini skirt, a flouncy white top and her signature leather jacket in late October. Her black converse hit the asphalt harshly, kicking loose stones a few feet each time she stepped towards her car. She contemplated just getting in and driving off, but after finding mouldy milk and having to clean up broken glass in her friend's kitchen, the seventeen year old needed a few minutes of peace and quiet.
With the radio quietly playing and the drivers window down, she leant against the door and pulled out a rectangular packet and a lighter from her jacket pocket. Y/N lit the menthol cigarette, elation bubbling through her after the first drag. While she hated the effects of smoking, the quick burst of pleasure kept her sane at moments like these. She was a giant hypocrite, always smooshing Steve's cigarettes whenever he lit one up in front of her.
Today was not Y/N's day though, because just moments later her tranquil state was shattered by the sound of a turbocharged V6 pulling up next door. She dropped her hand from her mouth, carefully blowing out a cloud of smoke while inspecting the scene in front of her.
The loud engine cut and the boy Cassidy had described got out of the car. Although it was almost pitch black, the amber hue of a nearby street light drew attention to the lightness of his long hair. She couldn't see the razor sharpness of his jawline or the way his oceanic eyes could pierce her soul; she was transfixed by something a little different.
He hadn't noticed her yet, the 'Quiet Riot' cassette luckily playing only loud enough for her to hear. Y/N couldn't tear her eyes away from his movements, or rather the way he treated his car. The boy didn't seem like the type to care about much in life; he probably had below average grades, spent a lot of time lifting weights instead of working and earning money, and thinks life revolves around how many girls he's had sex with or has been seen with.
That's the type of boy he was. She knew it because that's the kind of person Steve was before the events of last year; a pretty face with a pretty car looking for a pretty girl to lay.
He didn't seem like the kind of boy to care, which is why the way he treated his car with such care shocked her. Shock wasn't the right word, it stunned Y/N for a second but quickly reminded her of herself. He had parked it carefully, revving the engine up the road showboating like anyone would with a car like that. But as soon as he approached the driveway he was a completely different driver. Blondie, as she had decided to name him, didn't slam the door or the trunk, he locked his car carefully and was about to approach his porch, that's when he finally noticed her.
She'd taken a couple more drags of her cigarette while admiring him, now tucked between two fingers as he watched her with an almost quizzical expression.
"You planning on staring all night, doll?" He asked cooly, denim jacket thrown over his shoulder and all.
Y/N snorted for the first time in years as she shook her head trying not to let out a snicker, "It's just Hawkins doesn't get a lot of new residents, nobody's used to new faces around here unless it's a baby."
"Why don't you come a little closer then, get to know my face better?" He smirked devilishly in a way only he could pull off.
This time she really did snicker, "Gag me with a spoon, does that line really work? And why'd I move? I have good music."
The boy took a few steps forward, throwing his keys up in the air before catching them and standing at the end of Cassidy's drive. "Hmm? What's that I hear? Cyndi Lauper? Madonna? I'm good."
Y/N crossed her arms and looked at him in utter disgust, just for a moment, then leant through her open window and turned up the volume. Little did she know, the boy was treated to the sight of a ridden up skirt showing off her little black lace number. He smirked, she'd be easy to get wearing something like that.
'Cum on Feel the Noize' sounded through the silent road and his attention switched to the song. "My best friend doesn't like this kind of music, he's more of a Duran Duran kinda guy."
"Maybe you need new friends then, Peach." He paused, enjoying the way her crossed arms made her cleavage more prominent, "But a thing like you shouldn't be out so late, bad things happen when pretty girls stay out late."
Y/N raised her eyebrows at that, shoving off the side of her car to stand right in front of the mysterious mullet-boy. She took a drag from her cigarette, gently blowing it to the side before giving him a disapproving look, "What makes you think I can't handle myself? You may have been number one back in California, but here you don't say shit like that when they're unwanted unless you feel like getting smacked. Girls aren't objects, play and fool around all you want with girls who want it, but you aren't touching me. If you ever decide to have an attitude adjustment, maybe then we could actually be friends."
With one last pointed look, Y/N spun on her heel and went back to her car, getting in the drivers seat and starting the engine. She smirked, hearing a few rushed footsteps towards her.
The boy clasped his hands over the open window frame, leaning down to reach Y/N's level. His eyebrows were furrowed in confusion, "Wait, you aren't the Wright's girl?"
The Henderson girl turned to him, calculating his movements before speaking up in a much calmer tone than before, her smirk replaced with a genuine smile, "Meet me at the Hawk eight o'clock tomorrow night, you don't have to obviously, but you should if you wanna get to know my face better."
"You didn't answer my question." The boy copied her smile, finding himself entranced by the girl in front of him. She didn't shy away from him, or throw herself at him, saying they could be friends without any suggestive gestures or remarks. Girls had two reactions to Billy Hargrove; they either cowered in fear, or dropped their panties in lust. That was it, there was no third option. But somehow, this girl had created one, and it baffled him.
"No, their daughter's my best friend, and before you think about it, you really aren't her type. See you tomorrow, Stud."
Y/N rolled up her window, forcing the boy to move back from the car. He watched in wonder as she sped off down the street, finally walking back to his house once her cherry red car had turned the corner. Their nights went on as usual, but as soon as they were alone in their bedrooms, Y/N couldn't stop thinking about Cassidy's very attractive new neighbour, and Billy couldn't help but let his mind wonder to how good this hick town might just be for him.
