Had the impulse to draw bill after reading the revamped chapter 7 of @ckret2 ‘s wasting away again in the goldielocks zone, aka originally known as bill goldielocks cipher au.

My main motivation for drawing this (other then getting to draw bill in prime gremlin form, as god intended) but mostly to draw the sick scar/birthmark/deathmark as described in the chapter. The scar Wawa described as being “blackish blue” which I interpreted as dark blue, to as dark a blue as possible

I told my family about Bill Cipher (as one does) and they asked me to draw him lifting weights (don't ask).

I decided that it would be funny if I drew @ckret2 's Bill doing that and here he is! I fucked up his face but don't worry about it

So I’ve been skimming through the goldielocks bill cipher tag, and something stuck out to me when you were answering an ask involving how bill shows “affection” with gifts and flattery. So I’ve got two questions: was bill somehow conditioned to think that the only way to show affection with gives and flattery is cause that’s the only thing his parents gave him in the past? With what little we as an audience have glimpsed from bill’s past, he was obviously a golden child, so he most likely wouldn’t have gotten anything deeper then “good job son” “we knew you could do it,” “you’re our special little boy” to the point that when someone gives or asks for something intimate or vulnerable from him, he goes straight to into panic mode. “wait what? This isn’t how it’s supposed to work, they must want something.”

Going along with this, in the chapter post the ‘gravitational eclipse’ when bill cried in Mabel’s arms, was that the first time he let himself be vulnerable? If so that breaks my heart

it's not the ONLY way Bill got affection from his parents, but it is the PRIMARY way. And, probably more importantly, as a child Bill didn't get a majority of his affection from his parents.

He got it from his fans.

That's not the very first time ever that Bill's let himself be vulnerable. Mainly just because, as old as he is, it would be almost impossible to never have been vulnerable with someone before. He's a trillion years old; he's met a few people who have gotten glimpses beneath the surface.

But only people who he thinks would get it. People who understand who he is and where he's coming from. People who are just like him. The people he honors with that label are rare; and inevitably he eventually realizes they aren't as much like him as he'd assumed, and he throws them aside in disappointment.

Having recently died has shaken him deeply. It's a lot harder for him to keep his mask on than it usually is. Mabel got to take some shortcuts past a lot of Bill's usual emotional defenses. It's not the first time Bill's been vulnerable; but it might be the most vulnerable he's been in hundreds of billions of years.

I drew scene from @ckret2's fic. Chapter 8 of the Bill "Goldielocks" Cipher Fic.. TW- for Blood, slight nudity, and bill angst.

This scene got to me. Something I have really appreciated in this fic, was the fact Bill's human form is outright stated to be wrong. The non-natural form of Bill, he's not comfortable in the body, it's not him. That is such a huge thing and reason why I have enjoyed the fic so much, and this scene broke me. Bill tearing out the last part of him, that is still him and only registering it when he's done it, that is so angst heavy and heart wrenching.

I am so ready to read more of this fic either tonight, or tomorrow morning.
