Me gusta pensar que Sektor (al igual que su VoiceActor en inglés) forma parte de la comunidad LGBT, más específicamente es Género-Fluido. También que el nombre "Sektor" es un nombre que usó para que no se refieran con su deathname.

Y que fue Bi Han la primer persona a la cuál recurrió para decírselo, y de ahí en parte surge el cariño que le tiene. En los dibujos representé a Bi Han poniéndole su binder y también cortándole el pelo. Espero que les guste uwu

I didn't even remember this scene, but I hope it happens again in Mk1 (and it looks like it will, but the roles will be reversed). I like Sektor and the fact that Bi-Han has someone who likes him for who he is. Sektor having feelings for Bi-Han in this new era already proves that she is not a completely evil person, she just has high standards… And good taste. I'm just saying… 😏🥂

MK11: Noob/Bi-Han and Sektor?

Some time ago I wrote long-ish text about Bi-Han and Sektor and how their (potential) relationship could affect Cyber Sektor’s decision to not work with Quan Chi after taking control of Lin Kuei. I’m quite pleased that MK11 hinted that Sektor and Bi-Han in fact could have positive attitude toward each other, suggested by Sub-Zero’s ending (“I studied every second of Bi-Han’s life to understand why… Why he embraced Sektor’s corruption” in which we need to remember it’s Kuai Liang’s POV, so the corruption may be just embracing Lin Kuei the most unhealthly traditions) and maybe even intro as such:

Noob: Time to die, Kano.

Kano: Come on, Bi-Han! Our bizzo’s been good.

Noob: Good for you alone.

There is nothing new about fact that most of MK characters dislike or loathe Kano. Surprising, even Noob, though he and Kano had like little to none on-screen interaction by the whole story-mode. I’m not even sure if they were on the screen at the same time at all… and yet Noob has low opinion on Kano.

I was wondering for some time, why Noob would said “good for you alone” if he did not have much contact with Kano. Beside that both worked for Kronika, of course. And I come to conclusion - that similar to MKX, when we learn Cyber Sektor refused to work with Quan Chi because he broke the deal by keeping Hanzo’s soul as his servant slave Scorpion (who, as we all know, killed Bi-Han and that was the main, if not the only one bad thing that happened to Lin Kuei in the process) - that Noob may blame Kano for what happened to Cyber Sektor.

During fight in factory, Cyber Sektor (like Cyrax) “died” - we could see that Noob is the one taking care (checking?) of him while Frost took them all back to Kronika/safe place:

Later, battered body of Cyber Sektor was seen when Geras asked Kano(s) and younger Erron if Black Dragons could repair the damage done to cyborg. They agreed to do so. But during attack on Special Forces base, Sektor was used by Kano as a bomb, to destroy the place. Since Frost become the head (central part) of Cyber Lin Kuei, Sektor was set by Kano to self-destroying himself… so I assume he lost his independence and with that, life.

We don’t know if Frost would bother to take Sektor with herself if Noob wasn’t there. It’s hard to tell for sure anything based on such short moment - still there is something haunting about this little scene. Maybe because we did not see on-screen up until now Noob to take care of anyone, even for pragmatic reasons? Whatever feeling gives this moment, the way the supposed allies treated, used and ultimately killed Sektor is rather obviously he was just a tool for Kronika and Kano.

So maybe Sektor’s fate could be one of reasons why Noob seems to put Kano on the list “to kill” as eliminate for good rather than seek some more positive (for a Wraith) working relationship with said mercenary? Dunno. I like the idea that Sektor and Bi-Han still keep together, even after their change/death.

I fw sekhan, am I saying this is the most sensible, well written developed relationship in mk with years worth of lore and deep moments prior to mk1? Hell no.

But I like what was shown in the game, I enjoy their moments and I like Sektor. I’m having fun.

I will answer this in headcanons. Bi-Han x Fem. Reader by the way! Also kind of a little sad :(

Finding out what Bi-Han had done was like a knife to the heart.

She was so close to his brothers that they were her own, as they too viewed her as a sister.

She was definitely distraught knowing that her family was ripping itself apart.

But, she could not just leave Bi-Han. She had married him, but she also married the Lin Kuei when she said her vows.

Leaving him would only result in more anguish.

She would have to support Bi-Han’s decision either way, even if she had her doubts or believed that he was actually losing his sanity.

Bi-Han never fully discussed all the details, but he would tell her the big important ones such as the development of the Cyber Initiative and how they were close to overpowering the Shirai Ryu.

It pained her greatly, but she would smile and congratulate Bi-Han on his success. That was all she could do unfortunately as arguing with Bi-Han about his betrayal was like speaking to a brick wall.

Bi-Han believes that his brothers have betrayed him rather than the other way around. He is delusional lol.

He is blinded by his own anger and thirst for power.

It is argued whether he truly wants to kill his brothers or just wants them to stand down and let the Lin Kuei thrive.

Sometimes, she is never so sure if he really wants to kill his brothers in cold blood. In his eyes, she can see the glimmer of murderous intent, but then it will form into something else.

Like he had lost something important to him.

It was definitely arguable. She had hoped that Bi-Han would never be that cruel.

She could not bear to see any harm come to Kuai Liang and Tomas.

If she somehow ever came across them, whether it was at an event or some different way, she would feel like crying.

She would hug her boys close.

They would hug her back, joyful to be reunited with her.

They know she is not to be enemies with as their fight is with Bi-Han, not his wife.

Even though Bi-Han has stated that family is not off limits in their war, Kuai Liang cannot bring himself to harm her, nor can Tomas.

They know how much she means to Bi-Han, and he would go to the depths of the Netherrealm to protect her.

When those three reunite, it is usually quick as they cannot stay long. If Sektor or Cyrax were to catch a glimpse of them, they would be in trouble.

The brothers understand that she has to support Bi-Han no matter what, yet sometimes they feel that she is not trying enough to reason with him.

But again, they understand that reasoning with Bi-Han is something that cannot be achievable.

Once he is passionate and confident in something, he will continue to pursue it.

Just like he is passionate about overthrowing the Shirai Ryu and teaching his brothers a lesson.

Bi-Han hardly lets her leave the premises. He does not trust soldiers to go with her, and he does not have his brothers.

So only Sektor or Cyrax are really supposed to go with her, sometimes both of them will go with.

They are nothing like Kuai and Tomas though, which saddens her.

They have different personalities, and they put on the soldier face to prevent others from attempting to mess with them.

It is mainly for intimidation. That was something Kuai and Tomas hardly ever did unless it was truly needed.

Trips with Sektor and Cyrax are quick and usually not that fun. They are disconnected from her as they do not want attachments to the Grandmaster’s wife.

Supporting Bi-Han may be difficult in this because her loyalty also stands with his brothers, but since Bi-Han exiled them from ever being mentioned, her loyalties were forced to change.

She had to fully be loyal to Bi-Han and support his decisions. Just as Sektor and Cyrax supported them.

They were almost like the “replacements” for Kuai Liang and Tomas. That’s what Bi-Han tried to show her by sending them with her when she needed a break from the Arctika.

Replacements that were never going to fulfill the places of the brothers.

She dearly misses them. She does not have much contact with them and she thinks about them often.

She thinks about her old life often, truthfully.

If Bi-Han had a change of heart, they could be reunited and happy like they once were.

Kuai Liang and Tomas give her the offer of staying with the Shirai Ryu, even though they both know Bi-Han would rip the realms apart for her.

If she is too scared of Bi-Han or he is doing worse things, they want to make sure that the door is open for her.

She can be part of their clan and live a happier life. One that is not full of darkness and evil.

But they do not pressure her or try convincing her because deep down, they know that her place is with the Lin Kuei.

She is shackled by them, she will never be able to leave unless in death.

Real, If I could choose a romantic partner for Bi-Han, it would also be a Lin Kuei, and even though I was harassed simply for telling the truth to whoever asked (that Bi-Han and Sareena had never canonically been a couple and that in Mk1 it would make even less sense for them to be one) and for expressing my opposing opinion about making Bi-Han an irrelevant character for the sake of making Sareena seem relevant since she never had half the relevance that they were lying about her having (like, come on, after all the time I spent here defending Bi-Han, someone getting angry with me to the point of twisting my words to attack me for telling the truth was shocking to me. Especially because of the hypocrisy that kept happening around here until the "leader" was banned with most of her clones), I don't hold a grudge against the ship's fans (because even though most of them are annoying and toxic, I've met some who weren't), still not my cup of tea, though.  And even though I would have preferred a brand new Lin Kuei character to be Bi-Han's canonically romantic partner, I have no problem with Sektor taking on that role since from what I've seen of the character's bio and new story-wise, Sektor will be very different from what fans knew as Sektor and that she is, pretty much, a new character with Sektor gameplay (Ishii's words, who voices Sektor). And since Cyrax is no longer even from Botswana, I can only assume and hope for confirmation in this New Era that in fact Sektor and Cyrax are codenames like Sub-Zero, Smoke and Scorpion, and any competent warrior can assume them, regardless of gender, and that they will finally have real names like any other Lin Kuei (with the exception of Frost) have.  

Like, if Kuai Liang once assumed Bi-Han's codename (Sub-Zero), in this new era Kuai Liang is Scorpion, Hanzo is much younger than Kuai Liang and Bi-Han, Rain is a mage instead of a demigod, Mileena is Kitana's twin sister instead of her evil clone, Tomas is Bi-Han and Kuai Liang's adoptive brother, Kenshi and Takeda are cousins ​​and former yakuzas, being a Tarkatan is having a disease, Raiden is a farmerboy who now has his powers coming from an amulet, Liu Kang is a god, Bi-Han is the grandmaster of the Lin Kuei instead of simply the most efficient and loyal warrior... 

There are so many changes in the New Era that it amazes me how upset some people get over this specific change,  just because Cyrax and Sektor are women now. Like, come on, when was Cyrax and Sektor's gender ever relevant storywise? Then someone asks, if it was never relevant, why change it?  Because for the New Era it is relevant story-wise. And they like it or not, it is not even the only noticeable change of the New Era and it can be as interesting as the others...

I see potential. 

Unfortunately, many people are just making up problems and excuses to hate the characters without even giving them a chance. As if this kind of behavior would change a decision that was made and developed years ago...

extremely unpopular opinion but i don't mind sektor being female or being shipped with bi-han and if pressed to choose i'd choose it over bireena

-ok so first, I just think Sektor x BiHan wasn’t really necessary, it was sort of cringy in my opinion

-a lot shorter than I thought, and the ending could have been a lot better. I think Bi Han should have gotten started on a redemption arc while Sektor takes the reins of the Lin Kuei and she would still be able to continue to cyberization. It would be much more interesting to turn the two against each other

-the skins for Emperors Reiko and Rain, and Empresses Li Mei and Tanya were really good and I loved Emperor Rain and Tanya💕 and it’s also also hilarious to think that their current timeline counterparts would definitely be grossed out if they learned they were together in another timeline

-Empress Mileena skin? Ate. Maze Hunters Kitana and Mileena skins? Also ate.

-Smoke and Kung Lao lived 😭 thank god

-Nrs PLEASE have give us Madame Bo and Sektor content in the future I gotta know what happened PLS

-also a lot of characters the chapters focused on were characters I don’t really play that much so I was on the struggle bus😓 and I have discovered that I SUCK at Cyrax (I still love her as a character tho)

-give us Cyrax x Takeda if you aren’t gonna give us Jackie!!!! Their dialogue was so cute!

-I don’t think it really made sense for Bi Han to randomly turn to chaos :(

-I liked how a lot of new dialogues alluded to Hanzo’s future! He probably is gonna be the next Scorpion, but it would be really cool if he would actually be the next subzero, seeing as how the title is currently vacant with BiHan turning into Noob Saibot

-I absolutely need to know more about Sektor’s dad Longwei (his canon name) and her siblings (referenced in dialogues)
