1 - Song of the year? According to my Last.fm, it's all three songs from Apulanta's new EP Oire jostakin. I have listened to all 3 songs at least 15 times so far, but in general this has been quite an Apulanta autumn. Or, November. But not just Apulanta, because I have been listening to other Finnish bands in general, mainly Klamydia and also Tehosekoitin. Anyway I would say that my favourite one was this Klamydia song called Bonusta ja plussaa:

11. Something you want to do again next year? Well I definitely would have wanted to go to Berlin again next year, but I don't know if that is gonna happen. I have no plans now since I couldn't get that student exchange arranged, so now I'll just see what the future brings to me. But to say something: I definitely want to keep creating. I want to edit more videos, preferrably for something that would work as, well, work. I would like to edit and make videos for a living, and that's what I'm going towards. I just have a bit of trouble figuring out how to because there are no proper job market but everything happens in Facebook groups (at least in Finland), and I'm not the biggest fan of social medias where you have to appear with your own face and name, and it's in the rules of some groups that you cannot join them unless your account has a real name and profile pic... but yeah, I'm trying to look into this more and hopefully I could find work from the media field one way or another.

21. What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year? Stuff is always changing, but it depends whether it's positive or negative. I can't even say "new posters" because I was trying to buy a Deadpool & Wolverine poster from the local movie theater to hang on the wall next to DP and DP2 posters, but they sold out before I got mine and had to text me that unfortunately they didn't have enough posters, so there's not even that now :D But I do have new post-it notes on my wall, I think. And the pile of sketchbooks on my side table is definitely higher than it was at the beginning of this year XD And I have a bat plushie I bought from the other zoo in Berlin this summer. That's maybe all, I honestly can't think of anything else that is new, other than some smaller stuff I have bought such as the previous, or a few vinyl records or other merch of my fave band :D

The Hobbit: BOTFA: The Appendices, Part 11 (1/4)

Last Friday, we, the happy people of The Hobbit Discord Server (aka the Dwarf Lovers aka The Cult of Saint Bofur) spent a very pleasant evening on rewatching The Hobbit Behind the Scenes. And now I’m catching up with bringing you our silly comments :)

The evening started very predictably...

Due to weather conditions, a part of the crew was stranded on the mountain.

YES, THORIN (We kinda decided we're going camping with RA dressed like Thorin but the details are confidential, sorry guys!)

The crewmembers (for example Luke Evans was the first one to get it) were given medals for their courageous act in the field of movie continuity preservation. It was called “The Victoria’s Cross” and guess what nerd of an actor got this award as well?

Thanks for offering but I don’t know really, it feels like a physical sensation rather that mental, you know, I’m not panicking or having doubts about anything, but my body is just really strung up and that causes the bad feeling, if that makes any sense?

The Hobbit: AUJ: The Appendices, Part 8 (3/4)

The tumblr group The Hobbit (aka the Dwarf Lovers aka The Cult of Saint Bofur) had another watch party! We were all tired after a looong week, but we made it! :)

RA being excited about getting the role of Thorin. RA is such a fan boy and we love it! Wonder if he wrote fanfiction... He is a Bagginshield fan! HE INVENTED IT!

All the dwarves is just Gandalf's try at getting Bilbo to speed date I still remember that tumblr post that's like: "Thorin doesn't know what sex is." I mean, Bilbo is so desperate he's going on an adventure, even tho he doesn't know what he's there for. BECAUSE HE WANTS TO GET LAID!

Yes, it’s done. It ended up being fun, especially the translating. I hope those translations work, oh god. My English gets so rusty somedays :’D  I need to write more in English, I know and I want to do it.

But the reason to choose these five was my own love for them. These five have taught me something and have worked way better than I expected. It was strange to come back to these fics and think about them through words only. I have no such things as “fantastic last words” or “the last sentence that leaves you breathless” in my fics. But these... work. Somehow. And no one judges any piece of written art by the last words, right?
