OKAY! HELLO!! been gone a while! semester ended, break was taken, and I kinda want to come back on here but it'll be slightly different. so some new parameters and things i'll be doing:

tootiredmotel is my brand so that will be staying

yes there will be some spn stuff

my creations (videos, fics, edits, etc) will stay up

however I won't be as spn-centric anymore

you can expect dc, marvel, critical role and more dnd stuff, amongst other things

i'll tag everything accordingly dont worry

for the sake of my own stress and time management, i won't be participating in fandom events/games anymore

this includes creator events, follower celebrations, ask games, tag games, etc.

i'll be doing an unfollow spree

if i unfollow you, i promise it's nothing personal, i just want to clear up my dash so it won't all be spn and i can make some space to follow blogs about other things and those won't get drowned

however, if we're close mutuals, friends, or even if we interact a lot and because of that i've developed some sort of attachment to your blog, you're probably good

if i decide to unfollow you, it's most likely because of one of the things in the next point. again, nothing personal and no hard feelings, i'm just re-tailoring my dashboard and my experience on here

i mostly just want to enjoy fan creations. no drama, cons, discourse, and barely any actor stuff, since i've realized those are what drain me the most and make being on here less fun

and speaking of creations, i have no clue if/when i'll be creating stuff again, or even what for, so just a heads up about that!

ok. quick little sentimental post bc i’m abt to hit post limit again (under the cut bc i accidentally wrote a lot) (pictured above me trying to process nov 5 a year ago) (rip i have to do this on my sideblog)

i just wanted to say this past year has been really really fun. idk if i’ll still be here this time next year (i said the same thing about today, ha) but even if not this has been the most fun year of my online life. i’ve never made so many friends in fandom like i have here, i’ve never seen so much incredible fandom creations with fics, artwork, amvs you name it, like i have here. getting to love cas and affirm his identity and his love for dean with you all has been so meaningful to me, as someone who has been uncertainly navigating my own sexuality for more than half my life. maybe it’s pathetic that i log on here every day to literally just like posts from my little friends, but i love it so much. and every time i see all my dm conversations it truly makes me tear up to see a visual of how just how many people i’ve connected with on here through this fandom. if we’ve been mutuals for a year i love you, if we just followed each other today by proxy of our sideblogs i love you, if we’re not technically mutuals but i follow you or you follow me, i love you and i’m so happy you’re on this journey with me. whether i’m only here another week or for the next 10 years, i just want you guys to know how much you’ve impacted my life this past year ❤️

so y'all know how i haven't been very active for a while? here's the deal: i just don't really enjoy spn anymore. i do miss tumblr overall, i'm just always put off by the amount of spn i know i'll find on my dash. it keeps me from enjoying content about other things that do bring me joy lately.

so i'm sorry to say, but the solution is clear: unfollow spree. cleanse the dash, fill it with other stuff, and see if that gets me active again. if we're mutuals, i'll message you before unfollowing.
