Ring update: Finally found one that fits my thumb! I've actually had this forever but I recently found it again, shout out to Riz, the lastest fictional queer teen to convince me that it is queer to wear jewelry
#I also got a new one for my right middle finger#It's actually a little small but my pointer fingers are too big and my ring fingers are too little#I'm really happy I was able to add something that is just silver#And it makes a pretty good little worry stone#The other 2 are Robin from Stanger Things and Van from Yellowjackets so another point in the honorary lesbian column for Riz

Been stressed out for the last couple of weeks by issues with my roof and now it's getting looked at but all I know of the process is what I can hear through my windows.
It sounds like the roofers have just met the spiders.
#spiders tw#They're BIG spiders#For context the ones that make it down to my house can be palm-sized though they usually stay out of the way when it's not September#But September is spider-season so they must be out and about and I shudder to think how big the spiders are in the attic#the attic that nobody goes into unless they need to work on something; like we don't even use it for storage#Anyway it's been stressful so I'm trying to get my kicks where I can and I'm currently envisaging roofers fighting off giant spiders#Lord of the Rings style; although all I've heard so far is 'Another spider! ok so .. is it worth going for light equip load ? im at med currently and ik there’s not too much of a difference between light & medium in this game but do u think it makes a difference ? cause i don’t wanna bother putting a bunch of points into endurance if it’s not gonna rlly gonna matter anyway. slightly related follow-up question - should i increase my strength for the dark moon greatsword instead of going all in on vigor ?

#everybody's always on about miyazaki and poison swamps what about miyazaki and him making us platform off the narrowest of ledges#anyways this is where that levitating coffin from yesterday brought me#other things that happened today:#tracked down all the night cavalry and death bird fights i'd missed for some easy runes#and then lost most of them right here because there's a glitch that sometimes happens when you drop onto a branch slightly off center#that makes the game act like you just jumped off a ten story building and kills you instantly#fought the big boss crucible knight with the name i can't remember (-fuck- that gold dagger) and got the crucible armour set#fought preceptor miriam again and mr. boing boing beach ball after her and then went up the thing and found [redacted]#i finally got my somber smithing stone 7#already had an eight and a nine so now all i need is an ancient dragon one to peak off my dear bloodhound's fang#fought the “baleful shadow” which looked ominously like [redacted] which is probably foreshadowing#:(#and I finally got some manageable champions in the big jar challenge so now i can wear (most of) radahn's armor#now i'm just gonna finish off this place#tomorrow i think i'll try to round out ranni's quests#i.e. continue into the lake of rot#somehow#yay#ølden ring

#and like I know I've whined here about it taking me and my girlfriend longer than I normally would to live together or that I can't ask her#to marry me but I do it online on a foreign language precisely because it's not that big deal and I don't want it reaching her#I 100% understand her need for independence and taking it slow testing if every stone she steps in is safe and won't fall apart#it's both her troubled part and a part of her personality in general one can't say if innate or not. loving her means accepting that#and honestly that trait of hers keeps us safe and has taught me a lot about patience reflection and just being more responsible in life#I can't always predict her timing and needs I did ask her to go for it herself when she wanted to have sex and tell me when she wanted me t#stay over her house longer or have us look at apartments together and all. have been relying on her best friend about when to buy a ring#but I can listen and respect it#and it isn't simply worth it. it genuinely wasn't as much of a big deal as I expected because I love time with her in general#*past
