Sawyer grins as he watches the horses eat he offered his own horse a carrot and she whinnies as she plucks it from his hand “Good girl Dolly” He pets his horse

“Sawyer”

He turned around and saw his pregnant wife Sarah behind him “Honey what are you doing out of bed you need rest”

“I’m fine Sawyer I just wanted to see you”

“I’m glad you did” He wraps his arms around her “But still your health sweetie”

“I feel fine today and besides walking is good”

“Well if you say so I trust you”

“Thanks Sawyer now we can” A stream of liquid goes down her leg “Oh Sawyer I think my water just broke”

Sawyer’s eyes go wide “What?!” He scoops her into his arms “Come on we gotta get to the doctor!” He carries her to his truck then tries to start it but the engine sputters and smoke billow’s out of it “Damn! Of all the times to blow a gasket!”

“What are we gonna do Sawyer the contractions will start”

Sawyer pauses then smirks “Wait here” He gets out the truck then returns a few minutes later on horse back “Let’s go Sarah”

“We’re riding on Dolly? Can she carry us both especially with my stomach?”

“She can Dolly is strong enough to do it”

“I don’t know Sawyer we need to get to the doctor’s quickly and how you gonna make sure I don’t fall off”

“Don’t you trust me Sarah?”

“I do but I’m looking at it rationally”

Sawyer rests his forehead against hers “I’m not gonna let you down Sarah I wouldn’t suggest this if I didn’t believe in Dolley and we don’t really have a choice we gotta get you to the doctor unless you wanna have the baby here on the ground”

Sarah looks around then nods “Ok Sawyer”

Sawyer grins then he puts her on the horse then rides as quickly as he can to the doctor office”

Sarah feels the contractions begin to start she grits her teeth then waits till the pain passes

After what feels like hours they finally reach the town’s clinic Sawyer scoops her up and carries her inside “See I told you we’ll get there”

“I’m glad Sawyer but the contractions have started”

“Right can we get a room my wife is about to give birth”

A nurse pulls out a wheelchair and Sawyer sits her down. They roll her into the delivery room. As she was prepped for delivery Sarah turned to Sawyer “Hold my hand”

Sawyer grips her hand “Squeeze the life out of it”

The doctor walks in “Ok Mrs. Oakley you ready?”

Sarah bites her lip then nods “Yes I am”

After pushing the hospital room is filled with the sounds of a baby crying Sarah let’s out tears of joy as she holds her daughter

Sawyer grins “Hi there cutie I’m your daddy” He kisses her forehead “She’s beautiful Sarah she has my face”

Sarah raises an eyebrow “Your face? This is my face”

Sawyer chuckles “Come on you can’t deny she looks like me”

Sarah giggles “Maybe around the eyes”

Sawyer laughs then smiles “What shall we name her?”

Sarah smirks “Well I was gonna name her Sawyer Jr. cause I thought she was gonna be a boy”

“Oh hell no if we have any boys down the line you better not name them that”

Sarah giggles then smiles “I’ve always loved the name Clemintine rhymes with Brooklynne”

Sawyer chuckles then grins “I love it welcome to the world little Clemintine” He kisses her softly “I love you”

“I love you too”

‘I know not a lot of people like Big Sky County it's a pretty low stakes and mellow series, and honestly, it's one of the few series where the M!MC didn't feel like an afterthought. Also gay cowboys 🤠 I swear some parts gave Broke back mountain vibes 🤣’

You know, I'm replaying Big Sky Country and some of the things that Sawyer says about his childhood are low-key (very high-key) concerning. His father buzzed all his hair off because he dyed it blue, his mother made him walk back to his house when he was veeeeery young while everybody else was in the car because of a fight between brothers, and uh, well, I'm sure something else will come up in future chapters.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if another reason Duke left is because maybe he thought that they would have been "strict" (iykyk) with his daughter too.

I'm replaying with a m!MC and Sawyer doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's flirting. PB would probably never go for that route, and there is even a complete sequel now, but mh I do pity this sweet cowboy a bit by thinking of his hypothetical coming out.

I'd been wanting it for a bit, and I finally had to get a new computer so it's a blank slate for new stickers hehe (and yes I got a sparkly pink case). Is it possible for you to do the following: Matt Rodriguez from RCD, Sawyer Oakley from BSC, Caucasian Liam, Drake, Maxwell from TRR and Caucasian Male Kit for Untameable in not only their underwear, but also wearing their Stetsons as well? Reason is because how they do Rodeo here down in Texas in different cities during February and March.

Hannah walks down the stairs hand on her pregnant belly she smiles as her daughter Mia runs up to her “Good morning mommy!”

“Morning sweetie merry Christmas”

“Merry Christmas mommy!”

“Where’s daddy?”

Mia takes her hand and guides her to the kitchen when she sees a wonderful Christmas feast spread out on the dining table Sawyer appears from the kitchen holding a plate of food “Your breakfast gorgeous”

Hannah giggles as she takes the plate “Thanks merry Christmas”

“Same to you pretty lady” He kisses her cheek

“Let’s eat mommy so we can see what Santa brought”

Hannah giggles “Ok baby” They eat their breakfast and head to the tree to open presents

Mia rips over her gifts “Oh so many toys”

“All for you baby but next year toys will be for you and”

“My baby brother!”

Sawyer chuckles “Yes that’s right”

“Mommy want do you think he’ll like?”

Hannah thinks for a moment “Well let’s see maybe a toy car and you have some old baby toys you don’t use”

Mia grins “I’m gonna give it to him and play with him!”

“Good job baby now open the rest of your gifts”

As Mia goes through all her gifts Sawyer comes up to Hannah with a gift “Here you go”

“Aww Sawyer you didn’t have to get me anything”

“But I love spoiling you”

Hannah giggles as she opens the gift and sees a glass heart with a picture of them together “Oh Sawyer this is so sweet”

“It’s engraved”

Hannah smiles as she reads

To my beautiful wife

Not even this can compare to how much I love you Merry Christmas baby

“Sawyer you’re gonna make me cry”

Sawyer chuckles “Long as it’s happy tears” He kisses her softly

“I’ve got something for you too” Hannah reaches for a small gift under the tree

“You’re the greatest gift of all but I thank you sweetheart”

He unwraps it and see a leather jacket and boots

“For when we have parties and the boots are for working”

“This is really nice babe”

“There’s one more thing in there”

Sawyer looks deeper into the box and sees a white leather cowboy hat with his name stitched into it

“Hannah…”

“I took inspiration from your dad’s hat” They look over at Cliffs hat hanging on the wall

Sawyer smiles “He sure loved that hat”

“Yup now you got one to match his”

Sawyer smiles as he pulls her into a hug “Thank you baby that is the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever gotten”

“I’m glad you love it”

“I love you” He kisses her deeply

“I love you too Sawyer”

He pulls away and rests his forehead on hers “I can’t wait for many more Christmas’s with you and Mia”
