"Wow, you're gonna make me blush if you keep heaping on all that praise," Chris joked, joining her in front of the snowman, his arm ever so delicately draped over her shoulders.

Which she immediately noticed, of course,averting her eyes and smiling to herself. "It's cute," she backpedaled, "I just think maybe it's missing someth - hey!"

In one quick move, he pulled her beanie off and stuck it on the snowman's head instead, barely getting out a (needlessly proud) "Ta-da!" before Ashley's first snowball hit him square in the face.
