Purple

thinking about how Hartley has both a car and a motorbike, and can (though very rarely does) do her own engine maintenance. More often on the car, since that's what she's more practised at, but could figure out what to do with the bike in a pinch.

Prefers taking the car when hunting, but the bike is better for zipping around cities. She looks sexy in riding gear too just btw.

10. which muse would be the MOM friend? DAD friend?

Bella is definitely the mum friend, hands down. She takes being fussy and caring for people as a personal challenge (to the point where it's too much for a lot of people sometimes). I think the dad friend would be Callisto, actually. She cares a lot but she's gruff about it. Honourable mention to Barty as the child free, carefree uncle that swans in every so often and imparts WILD life advice.

18. which two muses would immediately fight each other if they met?

Hmmmmm. Callisto and Hartley, maybe? Neither are really prone to physical violence, as such, but they're both incredibly snooty and snarky and would rub each other the wrong way. Lots of pot shot lines.

apricate

apricate means to bask in the sun, to sunbathe. if you got this result, i think you're made of pure sunlight. the warmth you radiate makes people around you feel safe, and i think it's such a wonderful thing. you're like a bouquet of fresh sunflowers, or a box of chocolates on someone's birthday. you remind me so much of chamomile, of pretty rainbows that appear in the sky after a thunderstorm. make sure you love yourself as much as you love others, yeah?

not me thinking this morning about how it's never occurred to me before that Hartley would probably be super open to polyamoury in the right circumstances? Like, her whole thing is that she wants to be as adored as possible which is why she's so often looking for it from different sources but the idea of being in a committed relationship with multiple people who would do that? Being effectively shared (don't @ me that's how she would phrase it) by those who love her and dote on her? Actually yes.

Hartley tries to look as put together as she can at all times. She favours fashionable, stylish pieces that she can rework into different outfits (she's not made of money, out here). More often in skirts than pants, unless she's hunting, in which case she's in the tightest jeans imaginebale. Always in heels, or barefoot (so those toes are always well pedicured). Very rarely will anyone see her anything less than fully dressed (i.e. in pyjamas or in like, sweatpants) and if you do then that's the sign that you're not just temporary in her life.

what do their hair care products smell like? (harts!)

I feel like Harts' hair products have a quite light scent to them? She loves a perfume so she wouldn't want to use anything that would really conflict or overpower.

So the particular shampoo I'm thinking of is bergamot, jasmine, and sandalwood which I think smells nice when you apply it but wouldn't linger too much.

glance: At first glance, what stands out most about your OC’s appearance? What’s their distinguishing feature?

Bella: Bella purposefully styles herself not to stand out, most of the time. So, generally speaking, the first thing people notice is probably her eyes - more of a true blue than a blue-grey. If she's hunting and wearing something a little skimpier, then the burn scar on her shoulder is something people notice pretty quickly too.

Hartley: Harts, on the other hand, kind of wants everything about her to stand out at first glance. She knows she's beautiful, she knows other people see it, and knows people will make assumptions about her that she can either use to her advantage by proving wrong or by getting them to give her what she wants.

motion: How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?

Bella: Bella moves gracefully. Though it's never been trained in her, she has a predator's instinct and can move quickly and quietly should she need to. That said, she mostly doesn't, and doesn't exhibit any sort of enhanced maneuverability that one might expect of a vampire.

Hartley: Hartley was trained as a hunter, from a very young age, so I would say she moves with purpose. Though she likes tight, low cut clothes, she still opts for items that will allow movement (i.e. jeans over a pencil skirt, for example). Given she has been learning self-defence and fighting since she was a child. Hartley is very flexible and understands how to move and maneuver other bodies should she need to.

stillness: How does your OC act while still? Are they fidgety? Do they have any common gestures or tics? Does their clothing affect how they hold themselves while at rest?

Bella: When Bella decides to be truly still, she may as well be carved out of stone. She does not need to breathe, and can take longer between blinks. Her clothing doesn't hinder this, necessarily, as she mostly dresses comfortably. However, she doesn't like doing this because even though she is an unnatural being she doesn't like being unnatural. Mostly only seen when she's lost in her head about her past.

Hartley: Harts is less good at being still. She likes her hands to be doing something. Playing with her hair or tapping or in the BG3 verse doing things like polishing her sword. Part of this is because Hartley is not altogether patient so things where she can't be moving around a lot (like if she's observing someone on a hunt, for example) drive her a little bit nuts.

what does their perfume smell like, and how much do they put on? / hartley!

Hartley likes something a little bit spiced without being too overpowering. The first thing that comes to mind is something like Poison by Dior, where the description says a rich blend of spicy, fruity and amber notes with sensual honey and musk accords. She doesn't go too overboard when putting it on, usually a spritz at the wrists, a spritz at the throat, and depending on the occasion a spritz between the thighs

Hc + soda

Callie and Flynn drink the most, definitely, being Young People. Callisto likes Sprite or Raspberry Fanta where Flynn prefers a standard Coke.

Hartley and Isaac don't really drink it much, being coffee or die kind of people. Mostly mixed with alcohol but even then they both prefer other things.

Bella is a diet soda/no sugar drinker because she's very concious of her teeth. She's got one set she has to make last a long time and it's not exactly like she can go to the dentist!

None of my muses have any pets at this time- Callie or maybe Isaac would be the most likely candidates, but Hartley is on the road too much, Bella would be sad that they live such short lives and Flynn both doesn't think he's capable of looking after a pet and sees the day he gets one as the acceptance that he's never going to live in the ocean again.
