Feel free to add other popular material you see this with, but sometimes I just see intolerant folk using memes from popular media as templates for their homophobic/transphobic agendas. However, maybe the thing they're a fan of doesn't so much agree with what they're saying. So how about we look at some of them?

On 16 March 1992 Star Trek: The Next Generation aired an episode called "The Outcast" which indirectly addressed the topic of transphobia and homophobia, where the villains of the episode was the system trying to oppress and convert the LGBT character of the episode. Gene Roddenberry, creator of Trek himself, even gave his blessing to let LGBT subjects and characters be discussed in Star Trek.

On 16 February 1997 The Simpson's aired an episode titled "Homer's Phobia", in which Homer is shown to be homophobic. By the end of the episode, however, he apologizes for his assumptions and discrimination, and tells Bart (who he was trying to force into being hypermasculine) that if he were gay, that he'd be perfectly fine with it.

On 3 September 1997 South Park aired "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride" where Stan is told by an adult that homosexuality is wrong and tries to force his dog to be heterosexual. He, however, learns by the end that it's not wrong to be gay, and gives a speech to the town in opposition of homophobia.

So, people who want to post memes of these shows to suit their discriminatory values ought to know that the very thing they're hiding behind is in opposition of them, and that they didn't suddenly "go woke" in the 2010s. It says a lot that the creatives you laud think you're wrong.

Style with gay stan and bi kyle makes way more sense than style with gay kyle and bi stan. The show and even Trey himself has given a lot to work with for the gay stan headcanon, not sure why kyle is always the one being accused of comphet when stan arguably has way more evidence of that. Ik we shouldn’t read too much into early seasons stuff but come on. In the first season kyle was out on the football field while stan was partying on big gay al’s big gay boat ride. Stan was like, having an existential crisis when creek became canon. Stan is also the only one out of the main 5 that hasn’t kissed a girl (at least we haven’t seen it on screen) because he is awkward as fuck around them and not in the same way the other boys are. How are you gonna make kyle the gay one with that information.

●The main four boys (Eric, Kyle, Kenny and Stan) all play soccer with some of their classmates. And while i dont think most of them did it entirely willingly, it could still be a pretty good headcanon that at least one of them continued it when they get older (probably Stan)

●Eric calls Stan's dog gay but Stan thinks he's just confused. That is literally so funny to me man idk why. LMAO ANYWAYS JUST THOUGHT I SHOULD MENTION THIS😭

South Park WOWOW Japanese dub

I remember someone asking years ago if there was a place to watch the Japanese dub of SP, so here's a masterpost of all the episodes I've found so far. Links go to NicoNico Douga, the quality isn't the best but this is the only place I've found them.

SP has three Japanese dubs, from what I can see: the WOWOW dub (seasons 1 - 7), the Fox Japan dub (season 8), and the Netflix dub (seasons 15 - 23). If I find any more, I'll update the post!
