Android 21 was enjoying her piece of the cake, until she felt something cling onto her from behind and turns her head to see Lucas. "It certainly is. Thought I support my friend, PJ. Actually, I was brought here after being brought back from Other World, since I... had to sacrifice myself to stop my hunger persona." She said mentioning her sacrifice pushing herself into the Spirit Bomb with the Evil Android 21.

"But that's in the past." She said shaking her head. "We also got something to heal your Pokémon after that battle. The Sacred Ash of Ho-oh." She said taking out reviving most of Lucas's mons. "I also brought in the others from his collection to join." She said bringing out his other Pokemon that he had following Ash's adventures. Such as his team from Kanto, the Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola and Galar, even if some of them were released. That includes Pidgeot since it came back to Ash.

Medi was warming up to Clef, with the Star Shaped Pokémon on her head and uses Psychic to give her a piece of cake. Big Belly the Snorlax was eating his own fill of food, and laying down, falling asleep. As Lucas's Pokemon revived, my Pikachu offered Sparks a slice of cake for them to share. "Pika pika, Pikachu? (No hard feelings, Sparks?)" My Pikachu offered.

Now the party can start. Clef popped out of Lucas's shirt to see if Mewtwo's still around. Now that the coast is clear, she hops around, plopping herself on Medi's head to join her. As much as Lucas can agree with PJ, at least his own mons could have pleasant company should they recover in the Pokémon Center. Any case, whatever the cake is, Lucas hoped it would be chocolate with white frosting.

They should have a gigantamax/dynamax or mega evo Slothking who has a forest growing on it's back. Kinda like Snorlax with the big tree on it's belly

Sighing after a long time of eating sweet treats and pretty much dealing with the aftermath with a noisy belly full of so many sweet treats, groaning while feeling the various treats busy churning underneath his hands and rubbing that overly stuffed belly. Certainly no joke when overly stuffed and bloated from the sweets while having such an interesting time eating so much leftover food.

Chhuurrrnn… Gllooorrp… Grrooaann…

Certainly feeling the packing on pounds now when those sweets are doing a number on them and being much more plump as a result, having made that shirt pop open when eating food like a Snorlax and having a good time being so stuffed with food like this too. Would gladly have any plans for the future to partake in having extra treats if needed be when taking treats off Katy’s hands.

“Tasty as ever… woah… ugh… I think that I have overdid it when eating but… oh well.”

Having turned into a big overstuffed mound of a person that ate a lot of food and was slowly processing so much, feeling each deep gurgling churn under his hands while rubbing his belly and huffing a little when so full now that his poor bloated food belly be having quite the noisy time handling so much food.

At least helping out a gym leader had some perks and tasty food too honestly even when stuck in place when breaking a poor chair, looking much fatter from the whole thing and not minding the change either while having such a big bloated overstuffed belly. Lightly grabbing ahold of that belly roll when jiggling it a little and chuckling of the loud groaning that it make when letting his belly digest it all.

pokédiary entry 01:

friend of mine recently dropped off their snorlax with me to pokésit while they toured unova. i was prepared for the whole thing. bought more pokéfood than i could possibly imagine, did very minimal research on how to care for a snorlax. what i wasn't prepared for, however, was when i had asked when they would be coming back for the snorlax and they had simply replied "you can have him."

so here i am. on the first couple days i've found myself waiting a few hours for the bathroom to be available (not that anyone was in it, i live mostly alone, snorlax just had cleverly decided his napping spot was going to he in front of the restroom.) something that trainer blogs do not tell you; snorlaxes are super great napping partners! he loves to sleep, and doesn't mind if you lay on his massive belly for a snooze of your own.

on the downside, i had not planned on owning a snorlax. my house isn't really big-mon friendly, which is really disappointing. i don't think he minds though. he's taken a liking towards sleeping next to (not on) the couch in my living room.

i think i'll name him wilbur. do you think it sounds fitting?

[A video. You aren't sure how it's being recorded.

You see Heart and Cecelia enter the summit of Mt. Silver. Miku is on Heart's shoulder.

"I-It's so cold...I'm so tired...I...I want to go back down..."

The girl looks at her Pokémon.

"...A-Are you sure you two don't want to go into your Poké Balls?"

The Pokémon shake her head. You note the harsh blizzard, lightly obstructing the view. Heart looks up and sees a familiar boy in a red cap. Well not familiar to her, but to the viewer perhaps.

"There's...someone up here...?"

Heart carefully approaches the boy.

"Hello...? What are you doing up here?"

"... ... ..."

The boy turns around to look at her. He stares at her for a moment before grabbing a Poké Ball.

"...!"

"I-I really don't think this is a suitable place to battle..."

The boy either didn't hear or didn't listen as he sent out a Pikachu.

"O-Oh- aah...Cecelia? Just take the lead for a minute, I-I can't think straight..."

Cecelia nods and goes into battle. She immediately starts it off with an Energy Ball, immediately knocking the Pikachu out.

"...!" The boy looks a little surprised. He sends out a Charizard.

Cecelia used Return, hurting the Charizard a little. The Pokémon responds with Flare Blitz, hurting Cecelia greatly and hurting itself a little due to recoil, though you never heard a command from the boy. Cecelia panics and fires back with an Ancient Power, knocking it out. The boy sends out a Lapras and Cecelia looks at Heart, who has been trying to get her bearings the entire time.

"O-Oh, come back Cece...!" Heart commands. She looks at Miku "Are you able to battle?"

Miku nods, jumping off her Trainer's shoulder into battle.

"Th—Thunderbolt-!" She yells. Miku fires a Thunderbolt, which is strong, but not strong enough to knock out the Lapras, who uses Blizzard to knock Miku out. Heart returns the Pikachu to its ball and quickly looks through her Pokémon.

"R-Rin...!"

She sends her Butterfree out. Red quickly uses a Full Restore before Rin uses But Buzz doing...some damage to it.

"Psychic...?"

Rin launches off a Psychic, doing some damage, but not enough. Lapras lets off another Blizzard, knocking Rin out immediately. Heart returns the Butterfree, taking a moment to think. Eventually, she sends out Luka. The Clefairy looks a little hesitant. Lapras uses Blizzard again, leaving Luka at low health. Cecelia takes initiative and takes a Full Restore out of Heart's satchel, healing the Clefairy.

"Thanks Cece..." Heart smiles. The Lapras uses Brine, but it doesn't seem to do much.

"Meteor Mash...!"

Luka uses Meteor Mash, but the Lapras doesn't even seem to care. Instead, it lets off a Blizzard, knocking Luka out.

"I can't...think straight...Gumi..!"

She sends out her Nidoqueen and you see the boy's eye's widen, almost as if he recognises something.

"Rock Climb...!"

Gumi attempts to use Rock Climb, but misses. Lapras fires back with Brine, which takes Gumi to around half health

"Sludge Bomb...!"

Gumi launches a Sludge Bomb at Lapras, nearly knocking it out. The Pokémon is poisoned however. It uses Psychic, nearly knocking Gumi out, but she hangs on and Poison soon makes Lapras succumb as it faints. Gumi smiles at her trainer who weakly smiles back.

"H-Hold on...I'm just gonna..."

Heart reaches into her bag for a revive and revives Miku. While she's distracted however, Blastoise uses Blizzard, knocking Gumi out. Heart sighs before letting the Pikachu out. Blastoise uses Blizzard nearly knocking Miku out and you almost think she's frozen, but she thaws out in time.

"Thunderbolt!!"

Miku let's off a Thunderbolt, knocking Blastoise out instantly.

"A-Awesome...! Now just gotta..."

Heart switches Miku out for Kaito, who seems more than eager to battle.

"Waterfall...!"

Kaito lets off a Waterfall, hurting Snorlax a little. The big Pokémon retaliates with Crunch, slightly hurting the Pokémon. Heart quickly heals Kaito.

"Belly Drum!"

Kaito halves it's HP, but maxes it's attack. This doesn't seem to be useful as Kaito immediately gets knocked out by crunch. The girl turns to Cecelia, healing her, before nodding to her. The Celebi springs into battle without a second thought. Snorlax uses Blizzard, hurting Cecelia by a lot.

"Wh-Why do all of his Pokémon know Blizzard??? Wh-Whatever...Psychic..."

Cecelia let's off a Psychic, nearly knocking out Snorlax, but not enough. Snorlax uses Blizzard again, nearly knocking out Cecelia. The boy quickly uses a Full Restore before Cecelia launches another Psychic

"Aagh! This isn't working...!"

Heart uses a Full Restore on Cecelia as well and Snorlax fires back with another Blizzard. This battle of Psychic, Blizzard, Full Restore, repeat seems to go on for a while until Snorlax finally faints. The boy sends out his Venusaur and though Heart seems hesitant, she keeps Cecelia in.

"C-Cecelia...please....end this...Psy...chic...!"

Cecelia let's out one final Psychic, knocking Venusaur out. The boy's eyes widen again and he seems surprised before looking down and nodding. A flurry of snow blocks the camera and when the view returns, the boy is gone. Heart looks out of breath and tired, but smiles.

"We did it...that's...great....awesome...."

Heart stumbles around, trying to move, but she falls to the ground face first. Cecelia looks panicked and immediately begins crying for help.

The Rare Candy gets stashed away in his bag for later so he can divide them all up equally amongst his team members, and the sunglasses are deposited in front of his hat, PokéSpe style. No guys, he's not the manga version of Gold, stop sending him hatemail.

All in all, he's really enjoyed his birthday thus far. All he needs now is his gift from his parents...

Obey Me! Pokemon Teams

All of this was made using the pokemon trainer card makers on pokecharms.com. i couldn't fit this all in one post partly bc of explanations. But mostly be of the 10 pic max. Badges don't mean anything they're just there to look cool.

I spent way too much time (5 hours) looking at Pokemon and making teams then making the cards and sometimes completely redoing the cards but i have no regrets. Please enjoy!

Belphegor

Snorlax - napping buddy! Loves being able to cuddle his Pokemon during naps. Snorlax also makes a perfect pillow with his big soft belly.

Lunatone - Twin thing! Sun and moon is a constant theme with the twins. So i had to include these.

Komala - Pokedex literally says it's born asleep and dies asleep. Perfect for belphie. It's cute too! Another great candidate for naptime cuddles.

Darkrai - as the avatar of sloth he does have connections to dreams as well. Darkrai brings nightmares. Not intentionally. Like belphie, he's very powerful and scary. But they both have a softer side.

Mimikyu - revenge. Mimikyu wants revenge. Someone broke the neck of it's costume and it wants revenge. Belphegor is the same. He had a grudge on humans and he holds a grudge against Lucifer. Mimikyu is also said to be terrifying under it's disguise. But it's also desperately trying to fix his disguise constantly. The Pokedex literally says it's crying inside while trying to fix it. Belphie feels bad for it. He loves mimikyu.

Cresselia - belphie loves the stars. Cresselia represents the moon but is also described as looking like the milky way. Cresselia also brings joyful dreams.

Lets give Penny a fun combo. Appetite apricot, blubber blackberry, and growth grannysmith. I could lay on that belly and enjoy the show

Penny took the sodas you gave her and looked at them with interest “these are some extremely odd flavors and names, looks safe to me”

Penny then drank all 3 one after another her gut started to rumble as the magic drinks began to get to work “UUURRRP excuse me, why do I feel hungry all of a sudden” penny then began to put on some weight “why am I getting fat, I didn’t even eat anything, but i really could BBUURP” penny wasn’t only getting fatter but taller as well

“AM I GROWING, I’m getting taller, shit what did you give me?” Penny burped as she gained even more pudge and hight “ya know what, I don’t care just get me something to UUUUUEEURP eat, I’m more hungry than a snorlax, and I look like one anyways”

Penny eventually outgrew the couch and room she was in, she was at least 2,500 pounds and 14 feet tall “BBUUURRRP, I can’t believe this happened, but honestly I’m not complaining it feels nice being this tall and big, still really EEEEUUURRRP gassy and hungry, I could use some food”

i can probably clarify myself a little more lol

i own an altaria and she’s quite a lazy (but a really really cute type of lazy) ‘mon

i’ve tried to motivate her but she just seems to love cuddling with her own cloud wings and sleeping all the time

ok first of all your altaria sounds based if i was that fluffy you bet your ass i’d sleep in my floof all the time

second of all your altaria sounds like a less annoying gonzap so boy howdy do i have some things for you

-okay motivation. this is a big one and i’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve especially for stubborn birds. the big thing is: food. if they have a favorite food or treat that they’re really driven to, try motivating them with that. like maybe just start out by teaching them some tricks all lillipup style. teach em to roll over or do a little spin or walk through a hoop. they’ll learn that doing these things is a good thing and might start looking forward to it, and once you get to the point that your mon is getting excited when you start doing a daily trick routine, that’s when you know you’ve got them in a good spot. teach them to do some more strenuous stuff, like agility training or lifting a weight, reward them, and then it’ll just come naturally. pokemon love just doing stuff even if they’re the laziest snorlax in the world. it’s kinda just how they are, so once you reaffirm that to them, it gets real easy. seriously mons crave stimulation, both mental and physical, and providing that in ways that gets you both involved and doing things together will help strengthen your bond and trust in one another. heck even just playing with your guy for fifteen minutes each day might be enough to get them motivated for more serious training

-specific exercises i’d recommend: core and weight lifting. gonzap used to love doing crunches from a pull up bar and other bird pokemon i’ve trained that can do it seem to enjoy it too, so i’d give those a try. specifically what i used to do was make gonzap sit below the bar and then i’d get down and start lifting him up until his moved his head above the bar. then i’d slowly go back down and he just sorta instinctually curled his neck around it to hang there. initially i had to manually kinda make him do a crunch by lifting up his legs and butt but then it started to click and he just went off. there’s other types of core that he liked besides crunches too, like piano twists and a sort of modified plank. for the twists i’d make a sort of “nest” out of a towel for him to be able to lay in and id prop him up so his legs were out and he was kinda on his back a little. you turn their head to one side and use their legs to twist their body to the other and then swap (their legs usually splay out when they reach the end of the twist so it looks like they’re playing piano, hence the name). the plank is super easy, i made him sit and then pulled his legs out behind him so he was balancing on his belly. basically you just get them to hold that pose for about a minute then rest, then do it again a few times. weight lifting is pretty self explanatory but can be kinda hard if your bird has sensitive legs. you put a weight around their ankles and get them to fly upwards, usually towards food or your hand. i’ve also seen people make their own weights by taking an old shirt, cutting it open, tying the end to their birds feet, and putting books in the middle. so if you don’t have weights you can do that

-or if you just want your bird to be a little less lazy? just involve them in your day a little more. call them over when you make dinner and let them hold something for you, go on a walk together, play at the park or with a toy, etc. again stimulation is key. if they’re given something to do, chances are they’ll do it and genuinely enjoy it, making them want to do it again. if not then unfortunately you have found gonzap’s long lost sibling and you are cursed with a couch potato

Tabitha, in this timeline, felt unfulfilled by his work in the wake of the crisis involving Primal Groudon & Kyogre. As a former Devon Corporation top researcher he felt it was beneath him to perform the mundane calculations required to repair the damage he, and the rest of Team Magma had wrought. To his credit he stayed with Team Magma and did his due diligence. He invented a device to help prevent unstable tectonic activity in the vicinity of Mt.Chimney, which were caused by his attempts to synthesize a Mega Stone for Groudon.

His desire for recognition swelled beyond his sycophantic desire to please Maxie. He left the team on amicable grounds and through a series of undisclosed deals, set up his own research laboratory on a small island off the Eastern Hoenn coastline. Its name, TechTonne Labs, derives from the word tectonic (a word symbolic of his past with Team Magma) and tonne (referring to the weight, as he wants the weight of his genius to be felt throughout the world).

His first market-ready product was a mass produced Magma Suit, which he sold at inflated prices to rival labs and research bodies. Without it they couldn't investigate the cavern Primal Groudon inhabited, or study the composition of Mt.Chimney safely.

The initial success... may have gone to his head.

And the money, to his waistline.

"Number 62!"

A meek man in a white lab coat underpinned by the thermalwear all TechTonne researchers wore crept into the room. He looked up at Tabitha, with reverence, of course. How could anyone look upon the magnificence of Tabitha's body, and not feel humbled?

Tabitha had swelled to grandiose proportions in the years since he established TechTonne. He was still an average heighted man, but the sheer width of his body gave him the looming presence of a creature far bigger. Like an Electrike that somehow possessed the intimidating aura of a Gyarados. Though some people likened him to a Snorlax, and they were usually sent to the less... 'safety first' areas of the lab for the rest of their tenure.

"The doorways need widened, make a note of it."

"Again T--"

Tabitha scowled. His usually close lidded eyes widened to reveal his crimson stare.

"Right away, oh Great Tabitha."

"That's more like it, and while you're at it, another serving of lava cake," Tabitha tapped his desk counter, where a plate that once held up a decadent chocolate cake filled with gooey melted milk and dark chocolate 'lava' sat. It was licked clean, and Tabitha's stomach, broad and spilled over his lap, growled a warning to the assistant.

The assistant didn't need to be reminded of the punishment that awaited him if he didn't fulfil Tabitha's desires with alacrity.

Tabitha ran a hand over his stomach. His thermalwear one-piece suit stretched tightly over his full chest, belly and hips, it was practically painted on with how it hugged his skin. It contained his corpulence in such a way as to make him resemble a water balloon when he moved. He reclined deeper into his reinforced desk chair, and gave the assistant a dismissive wave.

"A genius cannot think without the appropriate fuel for his magnificent brain. So get me that cake. Off you go, I'm starving."

Krenko’s Guide to Pokemon: Munchlax Line

Height two feet, weight two hundred thirty one pounds. I don’t think density works that way.

DESIGN:

I don’t like Munchlax’s face. It’s furry boddy, bear-like feet, fluffy arms, and tall ears are all fine, but when compared to the rest of it not only is its face woefully underdesigned, but the straight line of separation between the two colors that goes all the way around its head makes it look like the top of its head should just pop off like a South Park Canadian. For the most part, it’s cute, and I love the tiny bear-like design, but I really wish the darker color went down behind its jawline.

Also, it has blank eyes. The vast majority of pokemon either have proper irises or some sort of solid eye with a shine to it. Munchlax just has little dots in the middle of white spaces, and while it’s not the only Pokemon with eyes like that, it stands out as a design issue.

Snorlax, on the other hand, is basically perfect. It’s a big, fat bear-like thing that’s just flopping around and doesn’t want any part of this. I do wish the basic design was a bit more textured with less distinct lines to make it clear that this is a furry creature, especially at its forehead, but overall it reads like a real animal that’s not an animal we actually know.  There’s a brief appearance of Snorlax in Detective Pikachu, and honestly it looks perfect there. Just by making it clear that it’s furry the Pokemon gets a huge layer of life… But I can’t really complain about that not being there in most games, as Pokemon has a very smooth graphical style and even fluffballs like Pikachu tend to look overly smooth.

Gigantamax Snorlax is one of my favorite Gigantamaxes, because while Snorlax itself doesn’t really change, its sedentary nature allows foliage to grow up and over it. This brings in a strong addition of color and new design space without feeling as though it’s rewriting the Pokemon’s design. It also just looks like a really nice place to spend an afternoon. Would anyone like to picnic with me on a Snorlax’s tummy?

TYPING: 

Pure Normal is a great defensive type and a poor offensive one. Weak only to Fighting, but not strong against anything, the best normal types tend to be ones built for survivability. Fortunately, that’s exactly what Snorlax is. 

STATS:

With 160 HP, Snorlax is one of the beefiest Pokemon around, even when Legends are considered. 65 Physical Defense is a bit low for a tank, but  the HP more than makes up for it and 110 Special Defense is rather strong. Further, while there are others with more HP, none of them come with a higher Attack or Special Attack than Snorlax’s 110 Physical. It does have to get by with one of the lowest speeds in the game, but that’s a normal tradeoff for tankier builds.

ABILITIES:

Snorlax’s three abilities are, surprisingly, all quite good.

Immunity, likely the weakest of the three, grants immunity to Poison. As Toxic is one of the deadliest moves to tanky pokemon, this should be beneficial, but if that’s the worry it’s generally better to just include Rest in your build and instead use one of Snorlax’s other abilities.

Thick Fat, generally the best of the three abilities, grants Snorlax resistance to both Fire and Ice attacks. As Snorlax is generally already being used for defense, this is a great ability that allows it to more easily cover more attackers with the only tradeoff being that you’re then susceptible to Toxic. The vast majority of Snorlax builds are going to want Thick Fat.

And then there’s Gluttony. Gluttony allows a Snorlax to eat either a health-restoring berry or an ability-enhancing berry at 50% HP instead of 25% HP. While this is a very limited number of berries, it’s important to remember that Snorlax has access to the move Recycle and that its G-Max move has a 50% chance to restore a consumed berry. Further, Snorlax can use Belly Drum to immediately halve its HP to maximize its attack stat, and being able to trigger a berry off that enables survivability. A Gluttony Snorlax requires building around Gluttony and thus limits options, but a Gluttony build can be very good.

MOVES:

As a Gen 1 Normal type, Snorlax has access to way more moves than it will ever need, with random TM access like Thunderbolt and Psychic that it really has no need for. That said, Snorlax also has access to a number of solid attacks.

A Snorlax’s primary attack varies by build, but Double-Edge, Body Slam, and Return/Frustration all offer significant power with STAB. A Snorlax build should probably have one of these moves, but which one is entirely up to you.

For a secondary attack, Rock and Steel types both resist Normal but are conveniently both weak to Fighting and Ground. While Snorlax does have some useful Fighting moves, Earthquake also enables it to hit Ghost types, leaving only a few Pokemon like Mismagius and Skarmory to be serious road blocks.

If further coverage is desired, Snorlax has plenty of it, with the elemental punches, Heavy Slam, Seed Bomb, Darkest Lariat, and plenty of other options. Finding the right attacks is simply not an issue for Snorlax.

What Snorlax is best known for, though, is Rest. With its huge HP and solid defenses, a Snorlax can sleep through most attacks, especially if Sleep Talk is used to make up for the lost turns during Rest.  A Return/Earthquake/Rest/Sleep Talk lineup is a solid option on its own.

Another very popular move on Snorlax is Curse. Curse’s speed debuff is basically negligible to a Pokemon who has almost no speed to begin with, and Snorlax both leans heavily on Attack and can really benefit from just a bit of defense boosts. Further, Snorlax’s bulk and support from Rest enable it to build up Curse with less risk than many other Pokemon.

And then there’s Gluttony. While a normal Snorlax is going to want Thick Fat, there are a few moves that would make it want Gluttony instead.

First off, G-Max Replenish has a 50% chance of restoring a used Berry, so if you’re planning to Gigantimax your Snorlax in a fight, using your berry early and then recovering it can go a long way. 

Second, Recycle simply restores Snorlax’s berry when used, and when combined with a Figy, Wiki, Mago, Aguav, or Iapapa berry this enables Snorlax to regularly recover HP without worrying about the ‘drawback’ of rest, though how much HP it recovers depends on which generation you’re playing.

Finally, while not exclusive to a Gluttony Snorlax, the use of Belly Drum to halve your HP and immediately max out your Attack stat is far safer when that move triggers berry recovery.  A Gluttony build that includes Belly Drum, Recycle, Body Slam (or Double-Edge), and Earthquake can work quite well for a Gigantamax Snorlax.

OVERALL:

Snorlax is a great Pokemon with a strong move variety, good abilities, and the ability to play as either a tank with decent attacks or a powerful attacker that can take hits. If anything, it has too many move options, but as more and more Pokemon exist, it’s leveling out to somewhere near fine. In the early days, Snorlax was an overpowered force to be reckoned with, getting weaker overall not because it’s any less competent than it was in Gen 1, but because there’s simply more competition from things like Mega Evolutions and Ultra Beasts.

That said, with a base stat total similar to that of a fully-evolved starter, Snorlax could certainly get a Mega Evolution without breaking anything… unless you’re of the opinion that Megas are already broken. Either way, Snorlax doesn’t really need any help to realize its full potential, it’s just having a bit of trouble keeping up with power creep.
