Ok uh, so I've been away for a bit (just a couple weeks but oh well) but for good reason

I've recently discovered a couple things about myself and have found two more kin identities, both of them being totally different!

The first one I've discovered is that I am in fact an angel kin! I want to possible draw what my angelic form looks like soon because I have a clear idea in my head of what I look like

And the second one is that I am a Garcello fictionkin-- however that one is a bit more complex because I have a very odd relationship with my source material due to past experiences

I had someone who was Annie at the time who later betrayed me but-- that aside, I am slowly learning to love it again

But I am definitely Garcello and I'll probably be posting and finding a new group/building a new relationship with FNF

I did ramble more about my fictionkin but basically TLDR; I'm Angekin and Garcello kin! And I wanna share more of those moving forward

So I’ll be answering this from the perspective of an angel as that’s what I am. But of course this is only my experience and I’m not speaking for anyone else.

I am religious, maybe more so now than before I really knew I was an angel. I definitely consider myself apart of my religion. It is my origin and what I remember. It’s the closest thing I have to a home on earth. I don’t think I’d say that my identity changed my relationship with spirituality so much. But in truth, it did. Just not in a negative sense. I wasn’t very religious before I discovered my past. Afterwards I began to find myself looking deeper into my faith for answers. And with memories and everything that came up along the way. I became more religious, it felt right finally. But my relationship with my identity changed too. I tend to confirm things I remember about myself if it makes sense with the angels of my religion. With what they’d do or how they’d act. And if what I remember doesn’t match up, I look deeper. Perhaps I’d been seeing it from an odd perspective. And usually that’s the case. I find this actually makes me feel more sure of myself. It gives me a deep sense of validation. And when I see the angels, my siblings and friends, mentioned in the religious texts, it’s a very special feeling. Like looking at an old photo album.

ok. i have questions for some therians and otherkin. these are genuine and will be below the cut! you can dm or send an ask of tag or comment or whatever. these aren't too serious or anything i don't think. but they're bugging me and i need answers but im SHY and scared to send asks to folks who may not be comfy answering.

ok so first is deity, god, angel, and demon otherkin. and this one is a bit personal, but I've been thinking about it a lot. are you religious? or do you consider yourself a part of your religion of origin? how has your identity changed your relationship with spirituality and all that? i feel like being any sort of divine otherkin would cause for a few complications, especially if you were spiritual beforehand. it seems like an interesting dynamic and i am yet to really see anyone talk about it in depth (granted, i do not peruse yalls kin specific tags much, so what do I really know)

ok next. most mammal therians/kin apply to this one. Yall's ears. When I see conversations about ear placements and interacting with phantom limbs, its always described on the top of your head. But on most, it's right behind the eyes, maybe closer to the brow bone. is that where yall feel them, or is it almost like an anime character (yk what i mean)? If so, do you think it has to do with our heads being so much taller? Or is it a hybrid system.

ok. finally for my birds. why are the wings on yalls back? is it because hands are too foreign? Bird wings and human arms are the same limbs with evolved features. Like idk it just confuses me.

i know for the last two shifts are different for everyone and all that but. I'm such a literal and logical person that these things keep bugging me and they will continue to bug me until i get answers. if i felt wings on my back, i'd assume i was some harpy or griffin. eaugh. anyway! thank you for your time have a wonderful day.

Fr 😭 I have a hard time keeping compassion for humans sometimes, they are difficult. Idk how The Lord handles them constantly lol He is great indeed because my gosh what strength it must take!

I think we kinda forget how there's a whole choir of angels, so when we 'discovered' that angels are also these massive gold rings with millons of eyes and wings that doesn't mean the angels we grown to know aren't real, because there's a whole choir, like ranks.
