Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction." 'Fear' means to reverence or to have a profound respect for God. It's not dread or terror. Terror and worship are, in some sense, polar opposites. Here is how my scripture memory review schedule works. I recite each section for 30 days before it moves into Weekly. There I merge all the chapter sections into a single line for that chapter, and each chapter gets 2 rows of 10. The first row is for weekly review, The second row is for every other week. Then it moved to monthly where I do the same thing, then quarterly gets only one row of 10, then it moved to annually. . I haven’t done this long enough to know if the annual review will work or if it needs to be more frequent. We shall see in time… .
