So I was "informed" that these two bible verses refer to homosexuality. I would like to respectfully disagree, when it says that the women went against their natural ways, it refers to, instead of women breeding with men (according to the bible that's the "natural" place for women) they lust for the men. It says that men abandoned their "natural relations with women" not saying they went for other men it is a continuation Of the first verse and it says that, the men, instead of breeding with women for procreational purposes, they lust or them. In this verse it also says "men committed shameful acts with other men" taken out of context it could possibly mean what I've been told[homosexual reference]but with the previously stated words it refers to men committing "lustful" or "shameful" acts against woman (group rape) and it continues to say that they were punished for these acts. In those days if a man rapped or commuted sexual crime against a woman they must have to marry her and never be able to divorce. This, then, would be a punishment. I do not see how this in any way condemns homosexual relations. I have read other verse from the New Testament that try to mention homosexuality but if you compare them with KJV version it does not say the same thing. The only part where it actually says anything on homosexuality being a sin is in the Old Testament. And if you recall, once the New Testament was created all the old ways and laws of the Old Testament were abolished. Like selling your daughters to slavery, burning women who wear clothing of two different Types of thread, stoning men who plant certain crops next to each other. Etc.
