#githyanki#githzerai#dnd#bg3#bg3 makes Gith out to be as if shes some nice martyr queen#the entire orpheus plot line is bonkers if you know the lore#when in reality Gith's story is about how hate can give you the power you need to overcome millennia of oppression and beat the odds#but also eat you from the inside out because that level of hate needed is all consuming#when the gith people were finally free from illithid oppression and they pondered what next - if they should stop their hunt#Gith said no - wipe them out#i like to imagine the burning rage still flickering in her intense eyes#zerthimon seeing this and feeling both fear and sadness to it#then hence the war of the two skies
