The intermediate workout plan. If you have been using the beginners workout routine regular and feel that your technique is good and your recovery isn’t a problem then you may be ready to increase your workout intensity and start using the intermediate workout routine. The intermediate routine is a 3-way split which means your body is split up over 3 workouts in a week. It means you can push each body part harder as there is no fear of not recovering for the next workout. Plus psychologically you tend to push harder because you’re not training that muscle group for a week. For each workout warm up the muscle groups that you are going to be training by doing high rep and light weight exercises. Cardio can be done after the weights routine. On each exercise do 3 sets of 10 – 15 reps. Let us know how you get on ! p.s.
