(Val's Metal Fury Parodies AU) Yuki has a panic attack, Gingka wants to inspire him, Johannes wants chaos, Bao wants silence, and the blader spirit has been there for 3 seasons.

Hot take, the reason Yuki and Gingka lost to Aguma and Bao in the tag team tournament is because of Bao. I can explain…

So first of all Aguma was holding back because he didn’t want Bao to get caught in the crossfire and possibly get hurt, he only pulled out the decisive move when Bao told him to. Already that’s one thing, but we can go one step further. While Gingka and Aguma were duking it out Bao managed to sneak attack Yuki out of nowhere, but clearly neither Gingka nor Yuki learned from this because after Yuki nearly buried Hades Crown with Anubius they go back to ignoring him. This comes back to bite them when Hades Crown slams Pegasus out of its special move which could have knocked Kronos out of the match and Yuki and Gingka could beat Bao in a 2v1. This gave Aguma the chance to eliminate all three of them.

I guess we could also make the argument that they lost because of tunnel vision, because they focused almost exclusively on the bigger threat in terms of sheer power, completely forgetting that this is a tag team for both sides. They should have taken Bao out first so they could focus on Aguma without the risk of being blindsided, but they didn’t and gave Bao the opportunity to surprise attack them TWICE.

Why don’t you ship it? I think I just consider them to be more like brothers or something... like the whole Beylin Fist strikes me as a kind of "brotherhood" thing and I just wouldn't want to date one of my brothers

What would have made you like it? Not sure, maybe seeing fan content of them as a ship. But I don't really think I'd care regardless, since Aguma is Not my favourite guy in the garage and Bao is just kinda... there.

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it? They have a nice, caring relationship in the show, so I'm sure their ship would be very sweet

And then… Metal Fury. Ho boy, this is a wild ride.

Dynamis explains what happened with the star fragment, as his arcs’ episodes showed he was the one to split the star fragments, but didn't know where they went. So when Kyoya and Gingka revealed their beys evolved, he starts freaking out. And then when Ryuga and Yuki's beys are evolved, that's when he comes to the conclusion.

Dynamis: Did the star fragments literally go to every single one of us? Like is this the reason we are linked together?!

Gingka: Only one way to find out. Road Trip!

Thus starts the journey to find the other legendary bladers, except Ryutaro joins in with the group. Canon events happen, with some changes. The boys meet up with Aguma and Bao in the tournament (with Bao knowing the whole story, those two have a brotherly bond and you can't convince me otherwise). Johannes goes after them to recruit the beylin fist without knowing Aguma and Bao are already on the Legendary Bladers’ side, and the two decide heck it, let's spy on them, because it's gone well in the past. Next is to New York for Destroyer Dome, where we learn some new details about some of the boys. Dynamis wasn't too happy about the temple holding VariAres being destroyed.

Dynamis: “You destroyed your family's temple?”

Kyoya: “You're so screwed.”

Gingka (slightly terrified): “I don't think I've ever heard Dynamis this mad before.”

Yeah... don't destroy temples around the historian/lorekeeper/guardian. He's not a happy person when you do that.

Anyways!

The boys finally get to Mist Mountain, run into Ryuto, and scale the mountain. Via their spying, Aguma and Bao get into some battles, Johannes starts getting into Kyoya's head. Canon events continue up until the end, where instead after Kyoya leaves the temple, he just goes outside to take a breather. The other legendary bladers are there to pick up the pieces of Kyoya's emotions, and eventually Kyoya stays the night before parting to help find Tithi. Both Tithi and Chris’ searches fall around the same time frame, and everyone is happy. Except for one thing.

Pluto.

He barges in on the middle of this happy group and activates Dynamis’ curse like the smug little man he is. This puts all the legendary bladers on high alert to get to Nemesis’ revival site to save their friend. Some battles happen as Canon, although some interactions are adjusted for this AU. At some point it goes from the standard Chris VS Gingka, Yuki VS Cycnus, Dynamis VS Kyoya, and Aguma VS Tithi to Aguma, Kyoya, and Tithi teaming up to save Dynamis, and Gingka, Yuki, and Chris just wrecking Cycnus and causing mayhem.

Now where is Ryuga in all this?

Still training to get stronger and master L-Drago, and Kenta is determined to recruit Ryuga to help. The Sagitarrio blader took Ryuga's not willing to join in on the search as him not helping his friends (when it's really the opposite, Ryuga just isn't one for big groups). Eventually the misunderstanding is cleared up, and Kenta actually grows on the L-Drago blader. All the while he's just giving commentary on the whole thing.

Ryuga: Gingka your friend is not half bad as a blader as he thinks he is. He cracked L-Drago's face bolt this time.

Gingka: Oh wow! That's some strength!

The remaining events in the temple fall under Canon, Doji returns (and is the menace that he is except he throws his own bey in there to bait Ryuga to breaking formation). Ryuga actually stays with the group while they all heal, but still gets badly injured during the final battle and gives Kenta his star fragment (he's living though, screw the anime on that). The final battle happens and they all recover again together. Kenta ends up linked to their group during the final battle, and he's not expecting the chaos of it all in the days after that.Part 3 will probably cover personality differences and AU changes for our boys.

I’ll start with our resident Filipino legend Acec since he’s in the same timeline as my gang. Xe’s a very OuO guy, so I think at first Ash and Kylie would be a bit put off, maybe try but struggle to hold conversations with him. They may eventually they warm up to him when they realise xe is just A Guy and not a changling of some kind. But fellow autism Madina knows there’s no need for flowing conversations when you have funny little pictures to share. They’d hit it off best with their simultaneous lack of seriousness and genuine sincerity. They snoop around team Dungeon collecting The Goss. They sit quietly and watch mcyt videos for hours on end, eyes dead and legs bouncing. Madina would pick him up and swing him around like Mario swinging Gay Bowser. Also they both like beautiful men. Maybe they can double date and re-introduce Tsubasa and Bao to each other, since they definitely do not remember each other at all. God bless amercia o7

Trucker Dave is the person who’s most likely to know Vita and the crew since he's Coach Steel’s husband. Idk if Steel’s still the main coach in the Zero Era but ain’t no way he’s out of there completely, so Dave still passes through from time to time. And if he notices a kid having a rough time, he'll try to offer a bit of Queer Trucker Wisdom. With Vita being the leader of her team and also queer, it's likely Dave could notice her going through some Stuff and give some good ol' advice, maybe let her pet his dog while she vents a bit. They both seem to have very calming and trusting presences so I think they'd get on quite well.

Now, ASHANTI. Ash would LOVE Vita. In her time, she was the only female team leader in the championships, so seeing an up-and-coming female team leader would be absolutely delightful. At that point she's also a beyblading coach, so maybe she could reach out and give some advice? Offer some training or even a mentorship if she can stand being in the US for that long? They're both sort of "older sister" figures, so she could also help Vita navigate the feelings that come with that (also them combined with Aria and Kylie?? Slay).

The Birrung girls would see Ashton Angsto and think "man aren't we glad we had no dudes on our team" or maybe "wow the kids these days have problems. we had problems once." But they don't see him as a threat to anyone as much as just a dickhead who'll hopefully learn about the magic of friendship, as all other minor dickheads in the championships tend to do. So long as he stays in his lane and doesn't join any evil corporations, they won't sick any wild hounds on him (although if Ash is also Vita's mentor... then that might change. Go full Madina mode if you know what I mean (I really don't care that you're a baby, I'll snap your neck like a twig)).
