It was very fun. It was my first time entering artfight, it seemed really interesting. I tried out my laptop to draw cuz it was just the convenient time to experiment. It was very cool to try drawing new characters.

It’s Bubble Tea Time!

Pluto has brown sugar milk tea while Johannes has either ube or taro bubble tea.

This was yet another impulse doodle turned drawing because I always get sudden urges to just color them. These silly evil complementary color dorks live rent free in my head always.

All except the first one, his original suit, were outfit suggestions I got from some people.

If you saw the original post, no you didn’t. I tried to see how queue worked and realized it uploaded earlier than I was expecting so I had to remove it to add the Johannes and Kira versions.

The Pluto council has gathered. They are discussing very important matters.

They all have moved from their respective universes to gather here today.

Backview Pluto is Solar Swap AU.

Cat ears Pluto is the Cafe Lynx AU.

The only Pluto in the white suit with a flower on him is the Conductor AU.

The Pluto with a horn crown and cape is the Underworld King AU.

The Pluto in the black suit and actual horns that looks high is the Arknights AU.

The Pluto who looks like he wants to leave is the special guest member.

Many Plutos were unable to unattend this meeting, but perhaps a few others may make their appearance in the future.

I’ve been in the mood to do a lot of meme drawings recently. Did most of the line art in Clip Studio Paint, and then colored it in SAI 2. I should probably do that more often since I much prefer to color there.

Mayblade 2023 Day Seventeen: Hero.

“No matter how many flames I put out, it will never be enough to make up for all the ones I started. I do not deserve the title of hero.”

With the nine-tailed empress defeated, the blazing fires that consumed Nasu had finally started to dissipate. For once, the descendant of the destroyer king was not responsible for it. As the raging inferno slowed down, he reminisced to Mist Mountain, where is journey to end it all really began. No, this was different. Now, he was here to dispel those hateful flames that once consumed him.

Heroes are people that are admired for their courage and outstanding achievements to help those in need. Pure of heart and good are often the qualities of these characters. It begs the question however, can someone who has caused great atrocities, redeem themselves and become a “hero”? Can someone like that ever be considered a savior after all that had happened in the past? Do they save people because they want to right their wrongs, or do they do it to save face? If it’s all a farce, are they really worth that title?

It did not matter if the town or his allies wanted to thank him, for he wanted neither their praise or attention. Did he do all of this because he wanted to prove to everyone he could do good, a foolish act as a lousy attempt to redeem his image perhaps? Or maybe he really did want to help repair all the damages he had caused. Even he did not know the answer to his own question. The descendant wanted to believe it was the first answer, it was a much less “vulnerable” response after all. Yet, some part of him knew the truth. No matter what, he could never speak of either.

What makes someone worthy of a title? Do you become a hero when others deem you so, or can you just be one by claiming it yourself? If the individual does not see themselves as one despite others saying otherwise, what does that make them?

In the eyes of the former bringer of ruin, “hero” is a title he can never achieve.

"This looks like a good spot for a picnic!" - Felicity

I wanted to try another drawing in the Beyblade style and just drew this from impulse. This time around, I didn't use any specific existing frame as reference, meaning I sort of just did this from scratch. I want to try to do more frames like these in the future for fun.

This is a scene from Vermillion Vows, where Felicity and He Li Hua are going with Pluto and Johannes to find Fifionne, who has gone missing.

There are a lot of doodles that I did before and during my hiatus, so here are some of them. A few of them are also reuploads from Twitter since I've nuked all of my artworks from there. I'm going to try and slowly reupload them here (assuming I remember). Yes, Pluto is still going strong in my brain what were you all expecting (his tags have been dead for too long I must give him his content!!!).

There are some Vermillion Vows doodles here since I actually finished writing the entire story summary! I'm not sure who would want to read it so I'm only going to share the google link to people who might be interested in it. Speaking of which, I should also work on some Solar Swap AU while I have still have time left before university begins again...

I've been animating for the last three days and I'm very tired but also, satisfied.

Compared to the last two, I actually tried to do this one from complete scratch while still trying to replicate the MFB style. It's not perfect. A lot of things like the pacing of the mouth animation and the way Pluto's hair moves could be fixed but overall, I'm quite proud considering I've done all of this based only on my experiences animating the last two days.

If you recognize his outfit, yes, it's the same one as his Vermillion Vows suit. If I ever have the energy to draw and animate other people, I would love to animate the girls and all my other OCs too.
