he's a nasty skank bitch and I don't trust him!!! he's sooo babygirl omg, so good at murder and scheming, his high bodycount and ratboy lifestyle have bewitched me body and soul

literally anyone and everyone. james, sirius, and remus are all fantastic candidates for babygirl peter's love and eventual heartbroken betrayal. sneter is a wonderfully deranged time. I wrote peter and sybill that one time and that worked oddly well? petition to make peter the new fandom bicycle!

My non-romantic OTP for this character

he is of course voldemort's little bitch bestie.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I hate that the 'solution' to jkr's fatphobia was to just decide that peter isn't evil actually, he's just the silly ace friend!! ...

instead, I think we should let him be evil in the fun, sexy, babygirl way that we let all other evil characters be evil! he's genuinely the most competent villain in the entire series if you think about it. (I mean the bar is on the floor but STILL)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I tend to associate specific Laufey songs with NJ, ‘Bewitched’ and ‘Valentine’ those are the two main ones, other songs would be ‘Everyone Adores You (At Least I Do)’ by Matt Maltese, ‘Romantic Lover’ by Eyedress, ‘When He Sees Me’ from The Waitress musical, my list goes on.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ♱ evangeline fox — evangeline fox might just be the most unrelatable fmc i’ve ever read, but it’s seriously okay. each novel’s mcs have their own traits and flaws, and eva’s is that she’s too optimistic and trusting. i do feel bad for her, tho.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ♱ jacks / the prince of hearts — now look, for someone who’s reading this after reading caraval, I’M IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN. my absolute fav kind of fictional characters are the cocky and sarcastic ones with a mysterious backstory, so jacks is perfect <33 everything about him screams ‘love me’ so 😋💓

𓂃 ࣪˖ ♱ evajacks — SPOILERS ‼️ : evajacks’ chemistry was almost non-existent in this book (except when he tried to bite her and turn into a vampire beep boop), but i’m hoping it gets much better in the next (though, i’m finding it hard to predict how that will happen considering what eva knows about jacks what she does 💀) i’m rooting for evajacks anyway because they’re now my caravalverse otp along with scarlian <3 : spoilers end <3 <

𓂃 ࣪˖ ♱ marisol tourmaline — marisol is such a classic high school white girl. see, i get that her mum said all that stuff to her face (which is so not how parenting works) which might have led her to want to be loved and cared for, BUT STILL. MARISOL. COME ON. she’s literally like ‘i want only what she has, because i just do.’ which is so wrong on a lot of levels. get yourself a bf without bewitching them, and i would have had 0 problems with you, marisol.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ♱ apollo acadian — apollo. mon dieu, this man. ik it was a curse, but oh god. my hopeless romantic heart beat for apollo’s dialogues when he was cursed in this book. he was borderline obsessed (but in a non-stalker way, guys) but STILL 😭 (can you tell I have issues? 💀) oh, to be loved like cursed apollo loved eva.

How I feel about this character: i love him completely, his creepy aura and always watching eye has bewitched me, body and soul. everyone hates him but i love him. if he has no fans, it means im dead.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: idk if i'd call it romantic but the relationship he has with alicent and aegon... i can't look away, i don't want to look away. if this is how people felt about littlefinger, i finally get it

My non-romantic OTP for this character: i do think he loved harwin, but in the end he had to die for larys' plans to succeed. but i think they had a good sibling relationship (amongst the best we've seen in asoiaf in general) (better than the baratheon brothers by a mile)

My unpopular opinion about this character: he has never done anything wrong ever in his entire life and he's the human form of the 🥰 emoji

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: two things: one, i wish he is confirmed as a greenseer and two, what's a possible (?) spoiler for fire and blood and maybe HOTD but i wish he doesn't kill aegon and takes the blame for alicent or does it on aegon's/alicent's request

Just in time for Halloween, I’ve noticed all my absolute favorite OTPs fit one oddly-specific trope:

Strong-willed, compassionate good witch meets goofy (but not dim-witted), kind-hearted guy who loves his witch more than he ever thought possible.

(My Personal) Trope Originator:

Cassie Nightingale and Sam Radford from Hallmark Channel’s Good Witch

If I try to describe the incredible friends-first dynamic of these two I’d be here all day. Just do yourself a favor and watch. I do recommend starting with the very first The Good Witch movie for a proper introduction to all characters involved. If you like Jake Russell there’s a whole series of movies for you. (Not that I don’t like Jake. He’s just no Sam Radford.)

Other Examples I’ve Recently Discovered:

I say “recently” with some irony, as these two are relics by today’s standards. But trust me there’s plenty of shipping to be had! And yes, that IS Angela Lansbury, playing a witch in a Disney movie! As for Bewitched, honestly I always thought Darrin was a jerk especially concerning Samantha’s witchcraft, but I watched some episodes a few months ago and now I Get It.

I started thinking about where all this came from and it hit me:

Okay hear me out. I know Monica isn’t a witch (then again name one thing beyond her power). But the dynamic is the same and Friends was a formative show for me. I started watching when they were first airing season seven - yes I’m old, what’s it to you?

Then I realized this goes even deeper:

Harvey Kinkle and Sabrina Spellman from Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Talk about formative. During elementary school this was my absolute favorite (though we might also need to discuss Alex and Ray from The Secret World of Alex Mack). I wouldn’t say I was actively shipping Harvey and Sabrina but I loved the show and I’m sure it seeped into my psyche.

This post doubles as a list of Halloween-y type things to watch (Friends did eventually do a Halloween episode), so I hope you obsess over these ships as much as I have.

Happy...Phoneversary(?) 💛💚🎉 

5 years ago, the 2nd cour of Shokugeki's 3rd season aired it's 8th episode - in which we first became witness of Eizan throwing Nene's phone through the train in motion 🤧 and...ever since then, I've become bewitched 🥹 

(so yes, it's basically the anniversary of them having "OTP of OTPs" status, ahaha...) But I mean, working with these two has brought me so much joy these last 5 years - I just had to pay tribute in some manner //wipes away tear//
