Little is known about the Alpha Tauri driver’s lover, but we do know that their height difference is adorable 🥰

Twitter was sent into a frenzy on Sunday, as AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda sneakily revealed during his post-race interview that his previously-unknown beau was in attendance at the Miami GP!

Tsunoda has been notoriously quiet about his private life, leaving fans stunned at the seemingly out-of-nowhere revelation. The Internet quickly began to scour for the unknown woman online, however with what little information they had, quickly turned up empty. Though, the commotion evidently attracted the attention of the team at AlphaTauri themselves. On Monday, their official Instagram account uploaded a post commemorating the weekend, in which Tsunoda’s girlfriend was also featured.

Eagle-eyed fans may have noted that both Yuki Tsunoda and the AlphaTauri Instagram account were both cheekily interacting with a private account. Soon, rumours were flying that this account was indeed run by Tsunoda’s girlfriend. As seen above, a quick look reveals that numerous Formula 1 drivers including Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, and Tsunoda himself, are following the account.

Some were not so convinced, however. Fans were also quick to question the account’s authenticity, with some expressing doubts on whether the account owner was even the alleged girlfriend herself.  However, these rumours were soon revealed to be true. On Tuesday, the account – which had previously been private with little over 300 followers – mysteriously became public. Fans immediately flocked to the account, taking to Twitter and Instagram to report their findings. With her most recent post being a dedication to her boyfriend and her time “in miamiiiiii with my boyyyyyy”, there is little doubt that the account’s owner – whom we can now confirm is Y/N L/N – is in fact the Japanese driver’s girlfriend!

The reason for the account’s sudden change in privacy is unknown, though some theorise that the account was hacked, perhaps by an extremely dedicated fan. Daily Mail has reached out to Tsunoda, AlphaTauri, and Y/N L/N herself for comment.

obviously none of the above are directly comparable, didn't run every race/sprint in 2023 that's been run this year, different cars (McLaren in particular is in a drastically different place), it's not as close of a like for like as I would like

I do think Austria will be interesting though, last year in the sprint Checo finished 21 seconds behind Max, but in the race Charles only finished 5.2 seconds behind Max - so the fact Max and Lando both normally go well around Austria and with the recent performances of Red Bull/Ferrari/McLaren and the seemingly better late than never comeback approach Merc have started on? I'm excited

Hey! I’m still buzzing over Lando’s win, but I’ve got a couple of questions. Before the race Andrea was saying this set of upgrades wouldn’t be as significant as the ones they brought to Austria last year, but they have more coming. Do you think it’s possible that McLaren could actually challenge for the constructors this year? Also they were also saying that Miami as a track doesn’t really suit the car. Why is that and which tracks do suit it?

God, I am also buzzing, and it still feels surreal tbh. Like wow, he finally did it 🥺😭

I saw a post saying Lando's upgrades looked to contribute around 4 tenths a lap (with Oscar's half giving around 2 tenths as well) which is wild. I don't remember what their gains were after Austria/Silverstone last year, but I do remember they were also massive (obviously. we were in the fucking trenches pre-Austria 2023).

I believe what Andrea primarily meant by saying Miami doesn't necessarily suit their car was because of the temperatures. It was very hot in Miami, and their rear tires still really struggle with the heat. It's why they tend to be good in the cooler temps (e.g., see China temperature differences between Saturday and Sunday). The formu1a.uno article I link below states that they specifically set up their car for lower speeds that are present in Miami as well (which has also traditionally been a problem area compared to circuits with higher speed corners so.... 👀).

What they brought to Miami was mostly aero and efficiency updates from what I understand. Part of where the hype comes from on my end is that the article I linked also mentions this update tries to get at their lower speed issues. There will always be further things to optimize and further develop in new ways, so that's what will likely be coming next. At one point towards the end of last year, I remember Andrea saying something about targeting some qualifying issues that those major upgrades last year brought out. I don't think they've addressed those yet, but also a potential further direction.

All in all though, I don't think there's any legitimate chance to challenge for P1 in the Constructors' this year. Max had a bit of floor damage following his run-in with the cone in Miami, so we don't know his true pace at the end (though, Oscar was keeping up with him for the first stint so 🤷‍♀️). Maybe there's a chance to challenge for P2. We should get a better idea about what Ferrari's doing when they bring their Imola updates in a week and a half. Ferrari always seems hit or miss with upgrades, so we'll see. McLaren will also take the next few races to really dial everything in, which they can luckily do now that we're done with sprint races for a bit. I feel like by Canada or Spain, we should get a better idea of what's going on championship-wise with the first half of the season.

F1 set for first fully dry race weekend in four months | 2023 Italian Grand Prix weather

Formula 1 is set for its first all-dry weekend of track action since May’s Miami Grand Prix with the trip to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix. Each of the last eight rounds have seen at least one session in which the track was wet. The round preceding those was due to be the first of two events in Italy – but the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix was cancelled due to flooding in and around the Imola circuit. It will be not only dry but quite warm this weekend at Monza, which is hosting the final round of the season which takes place in Europe. Both practice sessions on Friday will be held in the afternoon, meaning drivers will be facing air temperatures of 24C in first practice and 26C in second practice while the supporting Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships may be on track when it’s just 15C in the morning. There is no expectation of rain during either of F1’s sessions, although there will be north-blowing winds that could be as strong as 15kph. That means drivers will have a tailwind down the pit straight, but will go up against a headwind on the back straight. It will make the slipstream effect weaker on the run to turn one, but stronger entering Curva Parabolica. The weather will be almost identical for Saturday in terms of temperature and wind, with the F3 sprint race being held in cool 16C conditions but the rest of the day’s track action all taking place when it is 25C or higher. It will be 27C for F1 qualifying. Sunday will be the hottest day of the weekend, seeing temperatures of 17C for the support races, rising to 29C by the time the grand prix begins at 3pm local time. There is a chance of rain, but it is less than 20%, and the winds will be blowing more in a north-easterly direction which means there will be a headwind – and a chance to set up overtakes – between the second Lesmo and the Ascari chicane. I thought about not answering this, but I'm feeling charitable and will impart my wisdom. I'm going to correctly assume you're one of those butthurt so called Max fans and felt offended by my reality check so I'll be extra gentle 😊

First of all, Max didn't have a bad performance, he did the best he could with the car he has. The other teams have improved a lot while RB has not, as simple as that.

Second, there is a big difference between having a good car that you can push towards wins and a car that is so bad you are fighting in the midfield. Max will not deal with a midfield car, he said so numerous times, not my problem you didn't listen. Comparing the RB19, the car which won every single race, except Singapore, in 2023 so 21 out of 22 to the RB20 who already showed signs of being not that great in Australia, DNF for Max and a...I actually forgot in what place Checo finished the race 🤔, but it was nowhere near the podium, then flopped so hard in Miami, still struggled in Imola, now Monaco...see a pattern?! No? Then I guess we'll see in Canada 🤷‍♀️ watch this space 😉 please don't though, I really don't want RB20 apologists on my blog. The block button is there for a reason, do us both a favour and use it 😊

Third, I never said Max will retire tomorrow, but IF RB gets worse, aka if Max can't fight for wins anymore, please get some reading comprehension before getting so offended in my ask box. He has been saying he doesn't think he will continue in f1 if he doesn't get a competitive car and has to struggle in the midfield (like Lewis has been doing for the past 2 years). Max has been very vocal regarding his dislike of the way f1 has been handling the sport lately, having to deal with an uncooperative and noncompetitive car within the frustration of the midfield might be the nail in the coffin. It's not about Max losing his fighting spirit, on the contrary, it's about him being so competitive and always striving to be the best, which will be fruitless if he doesn't get a car capable of sustaining his efforts.

Fourth, I am dramatic, never denied it, but it's in a joking matter. If you would have bothered to have a look through my blog before going all defensive mode, you would have seen that. Or maybe not, since point above was necessary. Also, you might not get my kind of humour, not gonna lose sleep over it 🤷‍♀️

Alas, I can be very dramatic as all Max fans are, if Max is not P1 there is only darkness and despair, in our defence it's because we have been privileged, Max has and still is spoiling us too much with his performance 😂 but you shouldn't take it too seriously, we bounce back from "end-of-world" sorrows real fast 😁 Sometimes I feel like us Max fans are more intense and bothered over wins and records than Max 😆😅

This derailed, sorry, I don't think you'll read all that so I'll make a summary below:

It was not a bad performance, just the car's level, as well as the other teams improving, as seen since China.

Can't compare the 2023 car with this one, 21 wins out of 22 races versus 5 wins out of 8 races.

Never said Max will retire sooner due to the current level of the car 😑

Most important point, if you don't like people's takes just block them.
