the challenge where i spawn in the end: super chill. extremely pleasant. i made a house on a lakeshore and went swimming and caught fish. the endermen were my autistic best friends and we were chilling and mining wood together in the beautiful end forest biomes listening to the lovely music

the challenge where i spawn in the nether: from literally the minute i spawned in i was assaulted and killed by a ghast and then i brutally murdered a piglin and took its gold chestplate and ate raw mushrooms for ages and ran from blazes and everything was trying to kill me and i fell in lava and a wither skeleton was there

HONESTLY I'm a fabrichead because one of my fave mods (mythic metals and mythic mounts) is fabric only.... (DOES HAVE AN OLD ENOUGH VERSION 4 YOU) wipes away a tear from my eyes... also cheating is based if it helps you have a better game play experience never forget this

I'm honestly not a big betternether head but it's very fun :] BETTEREND THOOOOO mmm that's the good stuff. Would also like to shoutout incendium vrry good nether mod... I checked and it doesn't have backwards compatibility but betterend does!!!

Other then that I don't have any particular faves but I looooove jade and jei.... I love you sodium... I love things that let me have a good time playing game....

The Florans are a peaceful people, no matter what biome they live in. and the groups of florans in all three dimensions generally share a peaceful relationship. When Florans-both from the same dimension and from different dimensions- wish to befriend one another, they engage in the activity of flower-swapping and show one another each others' gardens and/or dimensions. (watch there be a hostile floran after i made this hc lmao)

Having played on some small modded SMPs a few times over the last several years, when you start going above more than a few mods it does get overwhelming really fast - and all of the ones I've been on have had like. Somewhere between 70-200 mods apiece? I watched Jimmy's first day stream for a bit and he said this one had like 300, which is insane.

I guess it depends on what kinds of mods too, how bulky the modpack is - I didn't watch enough beyond to know there's like. The Biomes You'll Go mod I think, some quality of life stuff, and the sorts of little mods pretty much every heavily modded SMP has like Waystones, not to mention all those fantasy mods I don't recognize. Just from what I saw it looks like it would kill my poor computer for good (although that's...not saying much). I know when I'm building I always end up getting overwhelmed and sticking to a lot of vanilla blocks even when there are countless cool looking modded options, and there's too much of a learning curve a lot of the time for me to want to get into the more technical mods when I can just loot places for good gear and go on a quest to make a giant farm full of a bunch of modded crops. (I think exploring new biomes is something I enjoy the most with modding. Betternether and Betterend are some of my favorite mods for that reason.)

When you're making the modpack yourself it gets really hard to narrow it down when there are so many cool options to pick from, whether you have a theme in mind or not. But I feel like oftentimes things get so bloated with mods that are redundant or that no one uses, and basically only serve to make my computer take five more minutes to load up the game. I haven't watched practically any of this SMP to know what I think of it specifically - at least probably folks who Play Video Game for a living have good enough PCs to run such a hefty modpack! I may have to watch more just to see.

oh. my god. just joined rens stream on the new modded smp where a bunch of hermits/empires and friends play, 2 hours later because I was watching zits Olympics and then xisuma (sorry priorities) and got so overstimulated with how modded it is- its not bad really I've just. haven't watched anything modded in years (besides vault hunters)

First gifset post in a while! These are totally inspired by @chiromaws​ incredible screenshots from the mod BetterNether for Fabric, so check out their posts too! I will say my PC was having a hard time dealing with the mod and shaders, but I think it was worth it - such a gorgeous and detailed mod! Will definitely be posting more of it soon ^^

grrr im making the paths in my town out of gold.. well gold coloured blocks, but there just arent enough blocks that are the right colour. im using raw gold ore blocks, honeycomb blocks and shroomlights but i cant find anything else in both vanilla and my mods that matches well. glowstone is too dark, yellow or orange dyeables like wool and concrete arent textured enough...betternether has cincinnasite but thats hard to get and im already using that for village house roofs.. betterend has amber blocks but i havent been to the end yet and i dont want to just yet.... truly horrible times
