🐟 Introducing Marmalade, my new betta! 🐠

After a couple of days of causing havoc in her tank, Marmalade has settled in and seems to be enjoying her new home.

She's given up on trying to catch and eat the shrimp and I've seen them walk by her without a reaction multiple times. 🦐

She loves to wriggle around in the Monte Carlo carpeting plant in one corner of the tank and keeps uprooting it.

Her appetite seems to have settled as she was ravenous for the first couple of days. I'm currently feeding her eight Nano Tropical granules from @ntlabs_official per day.

This is a lidless tank so I lowered the water levels by around 15cm until today and I'm slowly increasing them. I've also added some floating plants to act as a fake lid to reduce the risk of her jumping while I try to find a net that will fit the tank.

Marmalade loves to hide, especially around the narrow leaf Java ferns in her tank so I'm thinking of adding another one to offer even more hiding spots.

All in all, she's settling in perfectly! 🏡💙
