The sun hits my face in the morning, making me squint my eyes and turn in my bed covers. I do not want to go out today, and I regret my sheer curtains. The man lets out another chuckle. I do not understand what is funny this time. “You do not know my people?” He asks.

This time, I let out an awkward laugh. “Am I s-supposed to?” Now my head is cocked in confusion.

“I suppose not… I just thought with the shop so popular you would have seen one of my people before. I am a Mandalorian, Mando.” I notice now that his voice is too deep and vibrates my entire being “at least that is what my friends call me.”

I write Mando on the form, trying not to look too interested in the man in front of me. “Okay, we have a few services available. For a moment I am stuck admiring the man. I force myself out of my illusions and explain that the fish will be done in two to three hours, the last of the fish cooked before we close.

Back behind the counter, I hand him the fish. This time, I see his hands are exposed. His skin is a golden color, like the sunrise on Sesid. “Okay, Mando. You are all set. Is there anything else I can do for you?” My customer service voice is back on.

“Eat with me?” He responds, “I know you must be hungry from working.” His hands still press against mine, staying in limbo as we pass over the fish.

He laughs a real, deep, laugh this time. “I will turn away from you and you will turn away from me. I am trusting you though, not to look.” Suddenly his voice is serious and pleading at the same time.

Admittedly, she knows nothing about fashion, and concludes she may need some assistance before they get to the first sun destination on the tour. The problem is going to be in deciding who to ask. Ryu would be the logical choice, since she trusts him the most, but her pretty new bathing suit won’t be much of a surprise for him if he helps to pick it out.

Sarah or Sheridan might be the next best people to ask, but she can’t exactly do that either because then she’d have to explain why she wants a new swimsuit.

Suddenly, the answer occurs to her.

Haru.

That’s who she’ll get to help her. He knows about style, and he’s good at hiding things from Sarah. Perhaps Taiji can help as well. The two of them could teach her about makeup too, and they could probably give lots of tips about improving her entire look.

I just got a swimsuit for my Mordred!!! We're going to the beach tomorrow, do you have any tips or tricks on how to safely Beach With Your Servant?

Get them a surfboard!! With Mordreds specifically, it's not known as well depending on the area, but most are natural-born surfers - to the point that the Summer Mo subspecies was developed in tropical areas specifically to cater to this instinct they have. If you don't provide one, there's a chance that your Mordred may steal a board from a local shop or another beachgoer.

Additional General Tips:

Most Servants are actually okay without sunscreen! They have much stronger naturally regenerative properties than we do, so even if it seems like they'll get burnt, it's nothing a little more mana can't fix, and most aren't at risk of further illness later down the line. (If your Servant has pre-existing conditions such as an Okita, you may want to double check with a local vet what their needs are.)

Double check the fish population of the area and what sort of fishing regulations there are. Plenty of Servants enjoy fishing - with rods, with spears, even with their bare hands. You'll want to make sure that nothing particularly dangerous is out there for them and that you won't get arrested if they're found eating something later.

Do your best to avoid fights between Servants on the beach unless both participants have been raised for sport, as for many Servants these can turn into all-out duels (it's an instinct). If conflict is to be approached, try to frame it through a safe medium such as a water gun fight. (Saberfaces tend to like them, so your Mordred might enjoy one as well!)
