summer break
Tumblr media
cowboy paul 🤠 hair looked a lot lighter after his italy visit but idk how much time he actually spent in the sun? considering his fair northern european skin? (like im also northern european so i know it's hard to keep your hair in the sun to bleach it and still keep your skin safe 🥲) it was SO hard to make this collage without spending five hours just staring at his abs, ngl.
monza
Tumblr media
why do the top four pics give me like… golf vibes? like he's sitting there trying to see if the ball went into the hole?? ANYWAYS. kinda dark considering how light it looked during the summer break?? but very defined curls. *chefs kiss*
baku
Tumblr media
not as curly as sometimes, just… very messy? kinda flat at times, pretty light and fluffy other times. very cute nonetheless <33 (also speaking of him and his hairline… some pics here are ruthless in that way aaaa)

Tumblr media
looove the way the hair curls around the cap he's wearing when he's out in the wind!! like he has some kind of fluffy padding in it yk?? b a b y. the pics of him right after the feature race are crazy, the hair is everywhere but i understand that he had other things to care about 😭
abu dhabi
Tumblr media
the pics on the far right are from a vid on the f2 story from that weekend and i was kinda heartbroken that i chose the collage format to only include his hair and not his facial expressions, because he was SO babyboy in that video. (it's still available in their story highlights! check it out if you havent seen it yet!!!) the curls are so defined and curly but so so pretty, like not very messy just !!! feels like maybe he properly styled them very well this weekend? because the curls look so perfect at times that im like "yeah he didnt just wake up like that". (and that's more than okay!!! 🥰) except for when he just got out of the car lmao like the bottom left pic. insane

What are your hair headcanons for the chain? I personally think Wild, Wars and Legend have the longest hair but thats just because I think Legend's hat is full of hair he just pretends isnt there so he doesnt havd to brush it(warriors is going to kill him when he realizes)
Oooooh nice!!
I think Wild’s is definitely the longest, no contest. And I don’t think it’s THICK, it’s just dense. Like, the individual strands are rather fine, and his hair is soft and silky but he’s got a LOT of it. It’s definitely waist length, and has a slight natural wave to it, and he’s a natural dirty blonde. He’s experimented with temporary dyes because he got bored though. Also he does a lot with his hair and he takes really good care of it! It’s not HIS fault he wiped out and fell in a bush and got a bunch of sticks in it 😔
Second longest for me is Time, whose hair to me goes about two inches past his collar bone. He’s a warmer toned blond, and the color is completely natural, he doesn’t do much to his hair. I hc he has bad sensory issues and his hair can sometimes really bother his neck, but if he cut it short he’d never make it through growing it out again so when it bothers him he ties it up off his neck. Any hairstyles he does don’t have a WHOLE lot of thought put into them, but Malon and Wars have done pretty things with his hair before and he enjoyed it. He just can’t do that for himself. I also hc his hair is very thick and naturally wavy and Wars is constantly one toe over the line crossing into GENUINE jealously because Time does NOTHING and his hair just looks incredible and it hurts Wars to know that if he out just a Little effort into it it would look even better
Legend’s is about the same length as Time’s but most of it is always tied up and/or shoved into his hat. He’s naturally strawberry blond, and his hair is thick but pretty straight. It would hold a curl if he did curl it though, and he’s (of course) dyed it a few times in his life
We all know Four’s fuckass /pos bob. What an absolute legend I love his haircut. I hc his hair is very thin and fine, but it has that really pretty silky quality to it? It’s the type of stick straight hair that won’t curl even if you spray it to death and say a prayer. Its a cooler toned blond and it’s a lighter color than any of the other naturally blond Links
Hyrule to me has very dark 3c hair and if he pulls on it to straighten it out then he for sure beats Time for second place, but where his hair actually like falls to is right at his shoulders. Like it just rests at his shoulders. He had to learn to take care of it before he let it get that long because it was just kinda hard for a 10 yo kid to care for when he was so on his own, but he’s got the hang of it now and he’s really happy with how it looks. He doesn’t often do too much with it in terms of styling but sometimes he’ll braid it because it is kinda annoying to have to pick sticks out of it when he and Wild take a tumble and both walk back to camp FULL of sticks and then Warriors has to help the both of them
Sky’s hair to me has natural loose curls and is a fairly dark, slightly red toned brown. It’s very thick and just brushes his shoulders. It’s long enough that he can tie it back if he wants to, but he usually doesn’t because its so thick his arms will get sore from spending so much time trying to tie it back in a way that doesn’t look absolutely atrocious because theres just so MUCH of it and its hard to handle
Warriors’s is similar to Sky’s in length, and it’s naturally very thick, dark and curly, but he straightens and bleaches it to death. His roots are a very dark brown, but he does his best to cover that up. He also tries very hard to keep his hair as nice as possible and do what he can to prevent further damage. It’s curlier than Sky’s is naturally, but when it starts to curl up again it because of humidity or because he didn’t straighten it very successfully it looks a bit similar
Wind is a different styling technique away from a bowl cut. His hair is curly as fuck, not QUITE as curly as Hyrule’s is but definitely close, and his hair is naturally brown but has been highlighted and appears very blond. His roots are clearly brown, but not as dark as Warriors’s. His hair is very thick and hard to manage and Wars taught him how to care for it properly so after the journey when he’s more confident in how it looks, he lets it grow out past his shoulders. I hc Wars helped him LOVE his hair
Twilight is out here fighting demons but the demons are him. His hair is thick as hell AND dense as fuck, and it’s a bit wavy. It doesn’t listen to him, ever. He can’t so much as PART it differently because it’s gonna do what it’s gonna do. His hair was naturally a reddish brown, not a super dark color but definitely brown, but since the transformation he has a constantly dark roots no matter HOW much his hair seems to grow out, and his hair still has a red tone to it but he thinks it looks darker. It also takes him forever to wash his scalp because his hair refuses to let the water in anywhere and he gets a bit annoyed. Length wise you CAN see the back of his neck a bit, and it was definitely cut like, around his head in the sense that it’s not just layered with the intention of it hanging down long. the hair coming from the top of his head which is the longest part of his haircut are like 6 inches long MAX

Okay shit, now I'm invested in this whole low-effort-nice-curly-hair thing, SO!
I have thin, sparse hair that I've repeatedly ruined for years by dyeing it red. Then the pandemic hit and I've let it grow. It's now mostly my natural color with the lower quarter an off-reddish-gold, which is also the part that holds the curl best. I put it in a twisty bun before bed and in the morning brush it out and it holds almost the entire day. This is as low-effort as I think is possible.
So, the tools you'll need:
1. Stretchy headband
2. Claw clip
3. (Optional) Decent hairspray
Steps:
1. Pile your hair on top of your head loosely and hold it with a claw clip.
2. Shower with steam before bed. Heat+water males the hair pliant.
3. Brush it out, gather at the nape of your neck, twist it like a rag you're wringing out, make a bun, and then twist the remaining length around the base.
4. Tie with a headband securely.
5. Sleep. Or at least lie down for 6-8 hours. You'll end up with this:
Tumblr media
6. Take the headband out and brush out with your fingers.
7. Optional: spritz some no-residue hairspray and enjoy your curls.
Tumblr media
It seems like a lot of steps at first but it doesn't take a full minute on either end after like, the third try.
Better yet, if you twist it the same way every day your hair holds the curl longer.
Hope it helps!
Those look absolutely gorgeous, professionally made, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do that to achieve natural-looking curly hair to hair that's too short to get on a ponytail. Like barely-covers-your-ears length men's haircut length.

How to cut a long pixie?
Long pixie cuts are classic and adaptable. For people who desire a change without entirely committing to a short, cropped appearance, this style is perfect since it combines the beauty of longer hair with the lighthearted vibe of a short cut. The fundamentals of cutting a long pixie will be covered in this article, including how to choose the appropriate equipment, prepare the hair, and use several cutting techniques to get a gorgeous finish. Now let's begin!
I. The long pixie cut what is it?
The traditional pixie cut is somewhat longer than the long pixie cut, which has layers that provide softness and adaptability. With side-swept bangs, lengthier top layers, or tapered sides and back, this cut may be customized to fit a variety of facial shapes and hair types. While maintaining a little length for style, it's a fantastic way to appreciate short hair.
II. Being aware of hair types and face shapes.
Assessing the facial shape and hair type is crucial before reaching for scissors:
Choose a long pixie cut with slightly shorter sides and more volume on top for those with round faces. The face might appear longer and slimmer with side-swept bangs.
Square faces: Apply layers of longer pieces around a square face to soften it. It is best to have a pixie with volume on top and tapering sides.
Heart-shaped faces: With longer bangs and a layered, textured long pixie cut, the chin may be softened and the forehead width balanced.
Oval faces: Most oval features look good with pixie haircut. Try adding layers or a fringe to draw attention to your best features.
Think about texture and thickness while choosing your hair type:
Fine hair: Use texture and layers to add volume.
Thick hair: For a polished appearance and to prevent bulk, texturizing is essential.
Curly hair: When layered to minimize weight, a long pixie cut may look fantastic on curly hair.
Tumblr media
III. Selecting appropriate tools.
To get a professional appearance, having the right equipment is crucial:
Sharp scissors: Make use of hair-cutting tools made with accuracy in mind.
Clippers: Clippers are necessary for neat, even trims on the back and sides.
Thinning shears: Shears for thinning hair are ideal for texturizing thick hair.
Comb: To divide and untangle hair, use a fine-toothed comb.
Clips: To hold parts in place during cutting.
Spray bottle: To maintain and manage texture, keep the hair moist.
IV. Getting the hair ready.
Start with clean hair by washing and towel-drying it.
Dampen: If the hair is drying too rapidly, spritz it with a spray bottle. It's simpler to handle damp hair.
Comb through: To guarantee even portions and a clean cut, remove knots.
Sectioning: To maintain control, divide the hair into parts, usually beginning with the top and back, then clip them.
Tumblr media
V. A detailed tutorial on how to trim a long pixie.
Step 1: Dividing the hair into sections.
Separate the hair into three sections: the back, sides, and crown. Clip every segment independently. Work your way forward by beginning at the rear.
Step 2: Methods of cutting.
Clippers versus Scissors: Choose your preferred precision tool. Generally speaking, scissors are simpler for novices to use, particularly at the top and sides. Short parts on the sides and back combine well with clippers.
Step 3: Section at the back.
Work your way up from the nape of the neck.
Cut to the appropriate length after combing tiny portions directly off the scalp.
To taper and shape, use scissors or clippers.
Step 4: Sides.
Comb out the hair at a small slant as you move to the sides.
For a seamless transition, cut parallel to the head contour.
Make sure both sides match by regularly checking the symmetry.
Step 5: Uppermost part.
Cut the top longer than the back and sides to provide volume.
Work your way toward the forehead by starting with a guideline at the crown.
For a delicate, layered look, tilt the scissors slightly upward.
Step 6: Layering and blending.
Blend layers with thinning shears, particularly at the top and sides.
To get rid of bulk, texturize as necessary.
Step 7: Adding texture and style:
To make the ends softer, point-cut them.
For more texture, use thinning shears or a razor cut.
VI. Long pixie hairstyle advice.
Once the pixie has been trimmed, style it to highlight its finest qualities:
Volume: To add volume, raise the roots by blow-drying them with a round brush.
Texture: split strands and add dimension with a pomade or wax.
Sleek looks: use a flat iron and a smoothing serum.
VII. Maintenance and aftercare.
A long pixie has to be trimmed often, generally every four to six weeks, to maintain its youthful appearance. Use high-quality products that are appropriate for your hair type, and think about using style products to boost volume or improve texture.
VIII. Common inquiries.
What is the average time required to cut a pixie at home?
A: If you're taking your time, budget between forty-five and one hour.
How can I tell whether I'll look well with a long pixie cut?
A: Take into account your lifestyle, hair type, and facial shape. A stylist can be consulted if you are uncertain. https://www.youtube.com/embed/eFT3igbGGc4

Hair Health Tips from Professional Hairdressers
As much as we all strive for beautiful hair, taking proper care to maintain it is equally as essential to keeping it looking its best. Just like skincare regimes can have amazing effects if executed properly, so should the same be applied to hair care routines.
In this article we will outline the most effective techniques for maintaining hair health daily, weekly, and monthly as prescribed by Hair Salon Jurong West.
Daily Hair Care
Your daily hair care routine depends as suggested by Hair Salon Jurong on the type of hair you have . Thin and oily locks may require daily washing while curly or dry locks don’t. If your locks tend towards being on the dryer side, wash it two to three times every week instead.
Tumblr media
Once your hair is clean and wet, carefully dry it using a microfibre towel without rubbing your wet locks with it but rather pressing and pressing gently instead in order to prevent damage. After towel drying it thoroughly (do NOT rub!) blow dry it on low heat using heat protectant (use heat protectant for optimal results), only brushing your locks once dry as brushing wet hair can lead to breakage!
Use a hair serum to lock in moisture, and consider wearing a sleeping cap or using a silk pillowcase to protect your strands if they become damaged due to movement during sleep.
Weekly Hair Care
To reduce how often you shampoo, try co-washing (washing your hair only with conditioner). Your locks will still get cleaned thoroughly while being spared from harsher shampoos that strip natural oils away. In addition, try doing a weekly light hair mask which locks in nutrients – this mask should last one hour before being rinsed out – however this approach won’t provide as many nutritional benefits or heavy benefits than an all-out treatment once every month or every two months.
Monthly Care
Once your daily and weekly hair care regimens are suggested by Hair Salon Jurong Point, take the time to treat your locks to some special treatments every now and then. Deep conditioning treatments once every month can give your locks an important health boost–especially important if your locks are dry or damaged. Some treatments, like an all-natural coconut oil mask left overnight before being rinsed thoroughly out in the morning.
Tumblr media
If you require regular upkeep of bleached or short haircuts that need trimming, such as bleached hair or short haircuts with regular trims, such as regular trims with your stylist, this may necessitate seeing one once every month or every six-12 weeks to refresh up your style and eliminate split ends for healthier locks and shinier styles.
Conclusion
If you want the healthiest hair possible, scheduling regular trims is one way to do just that. Super Blade Hair Salon has you covered for all your cut, color or treatment needs; our experienced Hairdresser Jurong Eastcan advise on which method would be most suitable based on your specific hair type and needs. Contact us to book a consultation so we can give you your most beautiful locks yet!

Fade Haircuts for Every Hair Type: Finding the Right Style for You
The fade haircut, a defining style in men's fashion, is not just about sleekness and versatility. It's about the transformative power it holds, capable of turning your everyday look into a statement. Whether you're seeking a subtle change or a dramatic transformation, understanding how to tailor a fade to your hair type can make all the difference in achieving a stylish and functional look.
As we dive into the world of fade haircuts, it's essential to consider the aesthetic appeal and how a haircut fits your lifestyle and grooming routine. A good fade can minimize styling time while maximizing impact, providing a clean, sharp outline that enhances your facial features. This guide will help you explore the various types of fade haircuts and guide you in choosing the right one for your hair type, with insights into where you can get the best men’s haircut in Victoria, BC.
Tumblr media
Understanding Fade Haircuts
A fade haircut involves tapering the length of the hair from short at the back and sides to longer at the top. It can vary in where the fade starts, how short it gets, and how it blends with the top of the hair. Here’s how to find the best fade haircut for your specific hair type:
1. Thick Hair:
For those with thick locks, a fade haircut can remove some bulk while providing a structured and easily manageable style. A mid to high fade works best as it starts higher on the head, reducing weight and allowing for a striking contrast with the thicker hair on top.
2. Thin or Fine Hair:
Men with thinner hair might opt for a low fade, which provides a subtle taper and can help create the illusion of thicker hair on top. This approach ensures the hair doesn’t become too sparse along the sides and back, maintaining a balanced look.
3. Curly or Wavy Hair:
Fade cuts for guys are particularly effective with curly or wavy hair. A skin fade can enhance the hair’s natural texture while maintaining a neat, low-maintenance cut at the sides. This style accentuates the curls on top without letting the hair at the sides overwhelm the overall look.
4. Straight Hair:
Men with straight hair can experiment with various fades but might find a high fade appealing. This style highlights the sleekness of straight hair while offering a modern and sharp silhouette.
Choosing a Fade Haircut Near You
When searching for a fade haircut for men, consider your style preferences and lifestyle needs. Do you prefer a more understated look, or are you aiming for something bold and visible? Also, think about your maintenance preferences and how much time you will spend styling your hair each day.

Are Layered Hairstyles Good For Winter?
Hair trends are changing constantly. Sometimes, these styles are dictated by those who sported them on the red carpet and at other times, it's about being alternate and left of center. But sometimes, hairstyles are dictated by something more basic – for example: the weather.
And as we inch closer to winter, a question we’re asked these days (and quite often) is, are layered hairstyles good for winter, or are they more of a summer cut?
So we thought, why not spend some time discussing one of our absolutely favorite hairstyles of all time? If you feel the same, then join us as we explore layered hairstyles!
Tumblr media
Layered hairstyles are versatile, allowing you to change your hairstyle to suit the new scarf or hat you got for this winter!
What is a layered hairstyle?
Layered hairstyles have hair arranged into layers, with those on top being shorter than the layers beneath them. The result is that the top layers blend seamlessly into the layers below them. This blending of hair creates the illusion that the hair has been cut into different layers - even though that's not necessarily the case.
Adding layers to hair can help increase the volume, making it an ideal option for those with thin, light hair. But that’s not all. Curls and layers go really well together too! Curly hair can often be ponderous, adding layers is a great way to spread out the fullness.
Tumblr media
The Fern Lace Front wig brings the very best of shoulder-length layers with loose barrel curls
What are the benefits of layered hairstyles?
In addition to the ability to add volume, and take off volume, layered haircuts also help give a nice shape to the hair and face. Layers facilitate movement, and depending on the type of layers, add some texture to your hair.
But it’s not just about style, layered hairstyles help with comfort as well by reducing the weight.
Now that we know what layered hairstyles are, and some of the benefits of this popular cut, it’s time to move on to the main question…
Are layered hairstyles good for winter?
Winter brings with it cold gusts of wind and dry air. Both of these variants of the weather have one common impact - causing your skin and hair to get dry and dehydrated. And this is where the layers come in.
When the temperature drops, a layered hairstyle will keep you warm. Hair is a great insulator, it prevents the cold and wind from getting through. Adding layers - even on short hairstyles - helps create additional barriers that help you keep your temperature up even when it's falling all around you.
Tumblr media
The Albany is a piecey pixie enhanced with feathery, razor-finished layers that give it some extra oomph!
Layers also help keep dry ends, which are synonymous with winter, in check without the need to sacrifice length.
Conclusion
Layered hairstyles have made quite a comeback this year. They are an extremely versatile style that look just as good in a short cut pixie or a long hair with waves. With a layered haircut, you aren’t bound to one or two particular looks. Depending on the occasion, you can comfortably mix things up a bit while still feeling confident your hair has all the right energy.
All this, and the fact that layered hairstyles are quite simple and easy to maintain, makes them an ideal choice for the winter season.

How do set part hair?
The way hair grows is the natural part. Even if you never use this, knowing where it is is beneficial. Make a slick style of holding it in your hand and gently moving your hair forward. Some bubbles will form in the hair. Repeat this several times until the natural part of the hair appears. Use a comb to make a new part that is straight and well-defined. For this purpose, some combs have a pointed tail or tip. Hair can be trained to have a new feature over time. Apply heat and product to reinforce the new direction, brushing it in the desired direction. Please click here on the site and get to know about info Menzone.ca.

Pedro Pascal met up his hairdresser friend in Chile.
18/05/2021
Tumblr media
On Saturday, Javier Fernandez received a message on WhatsApp that surprised him. The hairdresser, specializing in men's haircuts, was contacted by Pedro Pascal.
"Today (Sunday) I had the honor of cutting the hair of a great and old friend. An actor that I deeply admire as a person" wrote the stylist on his Instagram account (@jafe29), where he also published several photos with the star of The Mandalorian, who he called him "adorable"
We haven't known much about the actor since he arrived in Chile on the 06/05, date on which a photo went viral by Diego Contreras, cleaning assistant at the laboratory of the airport (where all new arrivals have to be tested) who had the fortunate to come across Pedro. "It was very shocking because I'm a Star Wars fan", he said.
Although another newspaper assured that the star of "GOT", "Narcos" and "WW1984" traveled to shoot a tv commercial, Pascal hasn't confirmed the reason of his visit.
The stylist - who obviously doesn't give details about Pedro's stay - does admit that the haircut was done at the actor's father's house. "He told me that he would go wherever I wanted, there was no requirement. I told him that I could go to his house because it was Sunday and the salon was closed"
Q: On Instagram you said he was an old friend, how long have you known each other?
- Maybe about 15 - 20 years. I lived in Buenos Aires and I met his sister Javiera there. We have a friend in common called Jose.
My younger sisters are friends with Lux because they studied together. I've cutted his aunties hair, there's been always a good relationship between us. We are not the best friends, we haven't seen each other for years but there's affection because we have known each other for years. We came across on wedding parties and for some reason our families intertwined. He's still the same person, he hasn't changed at all.
Q: Is it the first time you do his haircut?
- Yes. He's so much simple than other costumers hahaha. They said the bigger the artist, the humbler is.
Q: I imagine then you were surprised about the call.
- Of course. I was shocked because I've been following his career and I'm a fan of GOT and Narcos.
Q: How about his hair?
- He has an exquisite hair. I cut it with razor-edged scissors, not with hair clipper because he didn't want it too short, just a trim. He has a very thin hair but with a lot of volume. He's not bald at all, he has a wonderful hair.
As a hairdresser, I think his hair is his big strength. That messy, a bit long and curly hair gives him a lot of style.
Q: Did you catch up with him?
- Yes, after to do his haircut we shared a cup of coffee. He's a lovely person. We didn't speak about his fame or career. We catch up about our families.
Q: How did you feel about seeing him after so long?
- He's so charismatic and humble. He's a very intellectual guy who reads a lot and it's not a trivial person. He's not worried much about the physical and that makes him most trendy. He's a fashion icon at the moment. In his last red carpet at the Bafta, was dressed by Prada.
Q: You are also an actor.
- Yes and I admired him so much because of that. For me he's the best chilean actor.

Haircuts For Men in Caledonia: 5 Hairstyles That Are Still Fresh In 2024
Tumblr media
Gents of Caledonia, let's talk hair. It's 2024, and while trends come and go, some styles have staying power. Whether you're looking to freshen up your look or stick with a classic, we've got you covered. Here are five hairstyles that are still turning heads in Caledonia this year.
The Modern Undercut
In male haircuts, the undercut remains a go-to for those who want a sharp, clean look. In Caledonia, barbers are putting their spin on this classic style. The key is in the contrast—short sides with length on top give you versatility.
What Makes It Work:
The adaptability is the major feature of the undercut. For guys dealing with thinning hair in Caledonia, it's a game-changer. By keeping the sides tight and leaving length on top, you create the illusion of fuller, thicker hair.
Styling Tip:
Invest in a good pomade or clay. Run it through damp hair, especially on the longer top section. Use a comb for a sleek finish or your fingers for a more textured, casual vibe.
2. The Timeless Pompadour
Elvis may have made it famous, but the men's pompadour haircut is far from old news. The current take on the pompadour is all about texture and balance. It's less about the sky-high volume and more about a natural, effortless look.
Who It Suits Best:
Guys with thick hair can really rock this style, but don't count yourself out if your hair's on the thinner side. A skilled barber, right cut, and product can do wonders for you too. The key is to tailor the height and volume to your face shape and hair type.
Maintenance Matters:
To keep your pompadour looking fresh, you'll need to visit your barber every 4-6 weeks. At home, a round brush and blow dryer will be your best friends for creating that classic shape.
3. The Fade With a Twist
Fades are still going strong, but 2024 is all about customization. The undercut fade is having a moment in Caledonia. It's like the best of both worlds – the clean lines of an undercut with the gradual blend of a fade.
Why It's Popular:
This style works for pretty much any hair type and face shape. Plus, it's low-maintenance, perfect for guys who don't want to spend hours on their hair every morning. The fade adds a touch of sophistication to the edgy undercut, making it suitable for both work and play.
Barber's Advice:
When asking for this cut, be specific about how high you want the fade and how dramatic you want the contrast. A good barber will consider your head shape and hairline to create a fade that complements your features.
4. Dreadlocks Reimagined
Dreadlocks have been around for ages literally), but they're far from boring. Caledonia's barbers are getting creative with locs, offering fresh takes on this classic style. From undercut dreads to tapered styles, there's a lot you can do.
Trend Alert:
One of the hottest looks in Caledonia right now is the loc fade. It combines the appeal of dreadlocks with the edge of a fade, creating a striking contrast.
Care Tip:
The best dreadlock haircuts in Caledonia aren't just about the initial style – they're about maintenance too. Regular retwisting and moisturizing are key to keeping your locs looking fresh and healthy.
5. The Textured Crop
Last but not least, let's talk about the textured crop. This style is perfect for guys who want a low-fuss, high-impact look. It's short on the sides and back, with just enough length on top to add some texture.
Versatility is Key:
It works well for all hair types, but it's especially great for guys with wavy or curly hair. In Caledonia, barbers are pairing this cut with subtle fades for a clean, modern look. The best part is that it looks just as good fresh out of bed as it does when styled for a night out.
Styling Tip:
To enhance the texture, work a small amount of matte clay or sea salt spray through dry hair. Use your fingers to create a definition for an effortlessly cool vibe.
Remember, a great haircut is more than just following trends. It's about feeling confident and looking your best. So whether you're going for a classic undercut or trying out something new, wear it with pride.
So there you have it, gents. Five hairstyles that are still fresh in 2024. Which one will you be trying out on your next visit to the barber? Don't be afraid to experiment – your perfect style might be just a snip away!

I’ve always had super curly hair. When I was younger, no one seemed to know what to do with it. My mom didn’t have curls. My dad did, but he never really needed to do anything with it. So when I was a kid, my mom used to brush it out which, for anyone who has curly hair knows, does nothing but make it puffy. I was teased, picked on, and outright bullied because of my hair.
All I ever wanted was to get rid of my curls even though everyone would tell me “Oh, I would kill for your hair!”. But I hated it. So I thought cutting it short would help. They even tried to thin the thickness by shearing it.  Unfortunately, this was done wrong and when it started growing back, it grew out
My peers were so awful to me that I still have trauma from it and still panic about it. For the longest time, once I finally learned how to control my curls and straighten them (which I do most of the times), I was way too afraid to cut it. I’ve gone years before without even getting a trim.
Only once or twice since then have I really cut it. The last time I did was almost a decade ago. When I did, my grandmother no longer recognized me. She has dementia and once I looked different she completely forgot that I was her grandchild. She knew I existed, but didn’t know I was them. After that, once again, I didn’t want to cut it and when it grew again, I kept it long, never cutting it above my shoulders.
But for the last year or so, I’ve wanted a more androgynous cut. One that matches more of who I feel I am on the inside. I’ve been too afraid to do it because of the texture and thickness and curls. Until today.
I went to a salon that was recommended to me by my best friend. The hairdresser sat me down and asked what I wanted. I hesitated, almost backed out, but told her that I wanted to do something a little drastic but wasn’t sure how or if I could get what I wanted. I told her that I’m non-binary and while I’m fine with presenting feminine, I wanted a little bit more of an androgynous hairstyle. She listened patiently, went through some pics with me, gave me advice, and also reassured me that we could do something nice with it without me having to panic (she could easily tell how nervous I was).
Before she started, she told me where she was going to cut to and that if I wanted her to stop at any point, that I could say something. She even paused a few times to ask how I was doing. Believe me, I was very tense. While she worked, she explained to me how to maintain this new look, that it wouldn’t take much, and that she’d give me some products to use to style it.
By the time she finished, I was stunned. I couldn’t believe how much I liked it. How happy I am. Not only have I been super nervous about what will happen, I keep thinking my face is too fat for such a short haircut. But I love it. I mean, I really love it.
Today, I did something that’s terrified me for years.
And I’m so glad I did!

How can I find my signature hairstyle? I’ve tried wigs/sew ins but they never look natural and my real hair needs to be protected
It depends on your face shape and features. What are your best features? A hairstyle can bring out your qualities just right. For example Nia had a classic short haircut that was signature in the 90s.
Tumblr media
For a natural look, natural colored braids, faux locs, u part wigs, and sew ins do look natural compared to the newest trend of lace fronts or closures. Look at your texture...does it line up with Yaki straight or Brazilian curly? How thin or thick is your hair? What is a natural length for you? This can help you next time.

Bubba’s Pampering Day
Warnings: Mention of sex and slight description. Thats pretty much it ppl.
Tumblr media
You had been with Bubba for a few years now. 3 to be exact. Everything in you adored the soft man that was this Sawyer boy. Tho your beginnings had been a bit rough you grew to love him and care for him, stood up for him and tried your best to be their for him. Bubba’s pampering days were very rare, in fact they only happened a few times a year. This would be the days where the boys had brought home much more ‘food’ than needed. In these day the boys including Drayton would give the day off to the sibling who did the most. This was always mostly Bubba and Nubbins. Today it was Bubba’s day off. It was a cool Spring morning for a normal Texas day it was unnaturally cold, but the transition from winter to spring was going on and the weather was surprisingly beautiful. These types of pampering days started a few months into your relationship with Bubba.
The day normally started off with letting Bubba sleep in, and since the whole Sawyer family including you was accustomed to waking up at 6 am this meant sleeping till 9 or 10 am. not much of a sleep in eh? Well either ways. You noticed that Bubba would most likely wake up around 9:30 am so by then you already had a nice golden stack of pancakes, some fresh fruit and a cold glass of orange juice. At 9:30 your dear Bubba would wake up and do the most adorable gibberish as a thank you for the food in bed. After eating the next thing on the list was a nice haircut. Out of all the boys Bubba’s hair grew the longest so every few months you would trim it.
You would walk Bubba to the bathroom that was connected to his bed room only and wash the rich curly strands of hair on his head. He would usually just lean back while sitting on the outside of the tub, Bubba was so tall that this was actually quite the comfortable position for him. Lavender was his all time favorite scent so that’s the type of special shampoo and conditioner you would use on him. After washing his hair you would sit him down in front of your vanity that had an old mirror and everything you would need for this day. The thin silver scissors you had where actually a gift form dear old Nubbins. You were surprised by the amount of scissors that he had in his room. You would start from the top of Bubba’s head and make your way down. Cutting about half an inch or a simple centimeter. You never went over 1 inch of trimming since Bubba always said he didn’t like his hair so short. The black comb that you used would always make Bubba make satisfied noises since it brushed lightly agains his scalp.
After the hair cut came the bath. This bath would normally consist of bath bombs bubbles and scented oils. Every time bubba Picked a new color but always stayed with the lavender scent. Once the tub was nice and warm you helped Bubba out of his clothes and into the tub. Even tho you didn’t know Bubba cherished these moments with you. When he first met you he didn’t think you’d ever be able to love him as much as he loved you. He didn’t want to show himself to you because he believed you’d be repulsed by his looks and touch. But here you were, willingly rubbing his shoulders and caressing the soft skin of his neck. Bubba thought he was hideous. You on the other hand thought he was the most handsome boy on Earth. His thick eyebrows were a dark brown. His eyes held so much emotions and if he gave you puppy dog eyes you were gone.
After the bath came the scar cream. The story behind this was that, when you were a few months into your relationship you shared childhood stories with Bubba. You had talked about how your mom had gotten an extremely large gash from a knife that would leave a deep scar on her right shoulder. But one of her friends had recommended a cream that treated scars. After this story Bubba begged you to buy the cream for his face. Surely it wouldn't solve his nose problem but at least helped with the rest. Hesitant at first you wanted to make sure Bubba was happy so you went into town and got one. Now his once rough and scabbing scars were simply small marks and light splotches on his face. If he scratched his face a lot they were sure to scab but since he wasn't a scratcher they didn’t. They didn’t even had much texture to them, barely any were still there. But hey anything to make your Bub happy.
Once done with the cleaning came one of Bubba’s favorite. Makeup and nail painting. You would do Bubba’s makeup and let him do yours. He wasn’t very bad at all, in fact he knew just what colors to put on your face and lips. You made sure Bubba always had enough makeup to play with and that he had the right brushes. Over the time you and Bubba had been together you piled up many colors of nail polish. Today Bubba would do a skin color and you would do black with sparkles. He loved when you gave your face or nails to him so he could have his fun.
One of the last things was actually intimate time. No matter what Bubba always got excited and you ended up having a passionate time in bed. At first it would start as a strip from your part. Taking off the light dress that was specifically for pampering days. Bubba’s rough meaty hands would explore your body and kiss every now and then. He’d squeeze, rub and kiss your body. But after a while you would completely submit to Bubba Sawyer and he’d end up just laying you down and pounding into you wether it be on your back or stomach. You always let Bubba finish inside of you. For starters, we all know the boy has a breeding kink wether he knows it or not. And secondly you both have been wanting to have a baby for a few weeks now so you tried every chance you got.
The day would finish around 8 pm where you would finish your intimate time with Bubba and start the routinely massage. You’d put on one of Bubba’s old t shirts that covered your body and lay on his thighs. You’d use cream or oils to start massaging form his lower back to his shoulders and neck. His meaty skin was always warm under your touch. Sometimes you would joke around and say that Bubba had a better ass than you, we all know he’s one thick boi. The joke would start when you “accidentally” started to lightly squeeze his supple behind. After finishing on his back he would turn around and get his belly rubbed plus a nice and long front shoulder, neck and chest massage. Your agile hands worked on each of his pressure point to completely relax him.
The night ended officially when you’d put everything away and lay one top of Bubba’s broad chest playing with his freshly trimmed head of hair. Bubba always made sure to thank you with kisses and cuddle close to you while you babied him to sleep.
Jesus first off i can’t remember writing half this shit since i wrote it at 1am sorry for any mistakes this has been edited now.
