Gem was lying in her grave. She had made a small room for herself there, intending to live out the rest of her days there, where she'll inevitably die and be at peace with the rest of her friends.
There was a small issue however, she wasn't dying. When she'd buried herself there she had expected to lose all her lives within a month or so due to starvation or other means but the death never came.
Hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months..
Gem didn't know what was happening, had she been dreaming? Was she just down there for a short period of time but had gotten impatient so timed seemed like it slowed down?
.. Eventually, the months had turned into years. Gem didn't know how long she'd been down there, rotting away in that room she'd intended to be her final resting place, still looking the same as before she trapped herself down there
Restless nights and boring days came and went, Gem wished she could just close her eyes and fall into a blissful sleep for the rest of eternity. During these days, Gem ruminated on what her life was before and what awaited her back on the surface. She wondered who was left alive, if any.
There were times where she wanted to dig herself out, escape this nightmare she's putting herself through. However, she always decided against it in the end. (It's not like she could leave if she tried to anyways)
'No one would be happy or maybe even be there to see me alive anyways.. ' She bitterly thought, remembering when Scott read out Jack's will which told them to kill her because she was still on her first life and the others actually tried to go through with it.
Finally, after what felt like decades(maybe even more) she managed to finally get some quality sleep. When she awoke one thing was immediately clear to her. She wasn't in her room anymore
She slowly stood up trying to not fall, unfortunately, Gem currently had the grace and stealth of a dramatic, dying rat. Having done nothing but lay down and eaten practically nothing for the past few decades (or even centuries)
While she was trying to get her bearings someone grabbed her hand and helped her up.
"Erm, hello there" The stranger said, he had brown hair and a beard (He was also wearing some unusual clothing, in Gem's humble opinion) Gem didn't know who this was but it did look like he meant no harm
"Uh.." Was all Gem managed to get out once she got over the shock of the new person suddenly appearing, she internally berated herself for that
He paused, clearly expecting more of a response. "My name's Pixlriffs" The man smiled nervously, holding out his hand
Gem hesitated a bit "GeminiTay" She muttered, shaking the stranger's- Pixlriffs' hand
-
I didn't know where I was going with this, I was just watching Gem's X life series and this manifested itself in my head so apologies if it ended a bit abruptly
Also I might post this on Ao3 too

Can we take a second just to admire cc!Joel Smallishbeans. Like my guy is currently on two smp's, he keeps up with Hermitcraft, he is somewhat present on SOS. Also his base is incredibly detailed, its large, and he has gotten really good at armor stands out of nowhere. He updates an average of once a week, he took a vacation to Japan and still managed to keep up with Hermitcraft.
He can follow the bit and has an uncanny ability to stop himself from being the butt of the joke. Like for example the neck kisses thing was at first a kind of 'ha ha that's really weird Joel' then he leaned into it so hard that now Etho is the one obsessed with Joel's neck kisses and both of them are obsessed with each other and its not just Joel.
And the whole ieseki harem bit too?? Like he has half of the server around his finger cause of a bit.
Also he is actually kind of good at tricking people? Like bro convinced three (I think) people that Etho built the statues not him.
Hes funny as hell and also he is like really bold? Like my guy posted himself singing a Minecraft parody to 'Money Money Money' he makes Hollywood level intros in Minecraft. His intros are the best by the way always have been. They're more elaborate now and they are really funny but there was a charm to when his intros were him standing in front of a horse hilling machine with no acknowledgment of it.
Joel appreciation post completed

Here are both my pieces for the @bdubszine !!!!! Such a great opportunity to run with it and just have fun with detail work.
I am in love with sungod bdubs and very proud of this piece with the improv class^^
Down below is some in depth talk for the first piece with bdubs and all his clocks :D
The one on his chest is a regular minecraft clock - he always carries one in his offhand. In the background his his big tower from his "building with bdubs" series. He is wearing his moss cloak. On his wirst: A clock with a horse: he loves horses. also it actually is inspired by the horse-mountain he build in season 9 of hermitcraft A purple clock with ears: a purple panda clock. He joined one mcc (minecraft championship) and one it first try on the team called purple pandas) A tnt block-clock: Season 7 of hermitcraft he had, alongside impulse and tango, a company called "the boomers" who would explode stuff with tnt for diamonds - bdubs stick was he would die in every blow up they do (there are compilations)
in his jacket: The clock looking like a ring: reference to double life. He was soul-bonded to impulse and they lowkey roleplayed as a married couple and impulse gifted him a clock as a sign or marriage. therefore it looks like a ring. it also has "i" pointers because impulse always puts "i"s on his stuff A regular alarm clock: Basically that - maybe a reference for him always sleeping through the night. The red glasses clock: reference to season 8. He, tango and keralis based together and called themself "big eyes crew" and they all wore red glasses Emerald shaped clock: season 9 as the right hand to king rendog (theres also a crown inside the shape) emeralds because rendog and bdubs wanted to change currency to royal emeralds which started a war on the server and led to rendogs execution. bdubs stayed loyal till the end "hep" clock: Season 7. He plays right hand man to mayor scar. There was a turfwar between two groups - one wanted their main island to be mycelium the other wanted it to be grass. HEP was the group who wanted grassblocks so its a grassblocked shaped clock. they lost the war clock with a snake: 3rd life reference. Inside the clock theres a castle "the crastle" which was his and cleos base in 3rd life. The snake stands for cleo. the heart is part of the logo for the traffic series (same btw count for the heart in the impulse ring) sundial: reference to the hermitcraftxempires smp crossover. bdubs came to empires smp and announced himself as "the sungod" and basically became a god and gem, oli, fwhip and sausage were his followers for the short time. the shape is after a build sausage made in his name the "B" sign: reference to last life. He was part of team B.E.S.T. and they had shields with their initials aka Bdubs, Etho, Skizzlman and Tango. The four hearts are the lifes he was given at the start of the series half tnt clock: reference to ethoslab who is his best friend on hermitcraft and they are just unnormal about each other messed up steam punk clock: reference to the create series he did with keralis, tango, scar and zedaph who unfortunatly was short lived mcc coin: the coin he got for winning mcc broken heart monitor clock: limited life. there's a heart monitor and digital clock. the clock is broken because bdubs didnt uploaded his view for limited life (at the time of drawing this piece) so we never new how much time he had left (we know now) small pocket watch with snake and wings: also limited life. he teamed up with scar (the wings) and cleo (the snake) tree clock: the tree of whimsey. one of his first builds of season 9. he crowned tango as parkour king, cub as royal magican/dragonslayer and ren as king under it
rest of the smaller clocks are filler

The Frost Citadel
Builder : TangoTek
Series : Hermitcraft Season 9
Propaganda : decked out is not only an incredible build on the OUTSIDE, with a great colour scheme and a lot of detail, it's also a hugely important build for the season in general - being the place most people would hang out for the last few months of the server - and importantly a redstone MASTERPIECE. how did this man create literally an entire game with a point buy system and effect cards and randomised threats in minecraft?! like this is vanilla. i think the only mod used was for the disc system and even then he was ready to run that without mods. on so many levels this is such a fantastic build.
Pandora's Vault
Builder : Awesamdude
Series : DSMP
Propaganda : its so big. Its so so big. Look at a map of the dsmp. Its just a black void bigger than l'manburg was. You look at it and you just know it's something terrible. the obsidian walls, lava, the iron. It's just there. In the middle of the ocean. It does not fit in and its scary. the AMOUNT of redstone and functions it go is AMAZING. the only way to enter is through a portal that then leads u to the nether and has to be manually activated again by the warden. So to enter you literally NEED the wardens permission. All the bridges and all the door. It's so fucking cool man what can I say. The amount of security. the lore that happened inside pandora as well. Pandoras arc was the best arc of the whole of dream smp and I stand by that. There is so so much to unpack. Sam and Dream could have just built some shitty obsidian box and called it a prison, but no they made PANDORAS VAULT
Bonus : it's a very big prison and now it's containing the smallest little guy (Bdubs)

Welcome to the United SMP, where 60 people- most of whom haven’t been invited yet- speaking six different language- the majority of which originate from Europe, but, hey, we’ve got South America in there somewhere, and we even have one Asian language!- play minecraft using live translation technology- which is being developed by a company known for pretty bad inventions in the translation field. It’s not like other Minecraft servers. It’s the first server with members that speak different languages.
People interested in joining should click on this English tweet that they probably haven’t seen because they aren’t on English twitter. Only ten people per language are invited, and there will be a leaderboard! Who’s the best German speaker? The best Korean speaker? We all know the best English speaker is Dream. He’s so good at talking that underage girls flock to him to hear his voice!
Definitely don’t watch the qsmp. Though Dream may have announced the new smp idea on the same day as the qsmp announcement and though he may have launched this preview on the same day as the first major qsmp event, that doesn’t mean anything! The qsmp event was moved, anyway! He couldn’t have gotten the idea without Quackity’s help, anyway.
From the man who refused to learn any Spanish when joining a Spanish minecraft tournament and who said that he doesn’t need to learn a foreign language because he only speaks winning, the United SMP will rank languages and break barriers just as easily as Dream breaks speedrunning records without cheating.

♡ more than just playing minecraft with hamzah ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
words: 3k
genre: fluff
summary: You and Hamzah had been playing Minecraft together for a while but when you finally video call you start to realise that the flirty conversations could lead to something more.
notes: i love this idea so much, and wanted to write about a nervous little gamer hamzah for a while!!
The sun had just begun to set, casting a warm glow over your room as you settled into your gaming chair, the familiar setup glowing softly in front of you. The headphones fit snugly over your ears, and the familiar “ping” of a message from Hamzah brought a smile to your face.
hamzahthefantastic: are you ready to play?
You chuckled, fingers dancing over the keyboard as you replied.
You: i always am!!
You had met Hamzah months ago on a random Minecraft server, and what started as a simple gaming night to distract yourself had now turned into a close friendship. Countless hours had been spent building, exploring, and mining on your own little SMP. Hamzah had a way of making even all the boring stuff so entertaining, his humor and stupid way of describing the game had meant that you had been playing every night.
The best times with Hamzah were the late-night talks when the rest of the world was asleep, and the game was forgotten. Hamzah opened up about his life, his goals for his channel, and his struggles in a way that felt so genuine. You found yourself looking forward to these conversations more than anything else, your heart racing whenever Hamzah’s name lit up your screen.
Recently, though, something had shifted. It was subtle, but undeniable. The easy conversation had begun to carry a weight of something more. You had caught yourself thinking about Hamzah more often, wondering what he looked like, imagining the expression behind the voice you had come to know so well.
As you were about to load the game, another message from Hamzah popped up, catching you off guard.
hamzahthefantastic: okay so i’ve got an idea, its okay if you don’t want to do it
You: oh no, should i be worried
hamzahthefantastic: no no! how about we like call tonight but with our cameras on?
hamzahthefantastic: i don’t know like we’ve been talking for so long, i feel like we should finally see each other
Your heart skipped a beat. You had thought about suggesting it yourself more than once, but nerves always got the better of you. Now, with Hamzah being the one to bring it up, the nervous feeling you’d been suppressing came rushing back.
You: i’d love to hamzah!!
hamzahthefantastic: thank god, i’m just curious to put a face to the voice, you know
The idea of finally seeing Hamzah’s face both excited and terrified you. What if he didn’t like what he saw? What if this changed things between you?
You hesitated for a moment, then pushed the doubts aside. You can’t back down now.
You: when do you want to
hamzahthefantastic: i’ll call you in a few
With the Minecraft world loaded and ready in the background, you couldn’t help the nervous energy buzzing through you as you prepared for the call. Your mind raced with what-ifs and half-formed thoughts.
Shaking off the doubts, you took a deep breath as your computer began playing the familiar tune of the incoming call appearing on your monitor. The screen flickered as it connected, and then there he was—Hamzah, the voice you had known so well, now accompanied by a face.
The first thing you noticed was his hair—thick, brown, and curly, disheveled around his face somehow so perfectly. His skin was a warm olive tone, and as he smiled shyly at the camera, your heart pounded in his chest. Those brown eyes, so full of life and warmth, met yours, and for a moment, you forgot how to speak.
“Hey,” Hamzah greeted, his voice slightly softer than usual, a hint of nervousness creeping in.
“Hey,” you replied, trying to keep your own voice steady. “So.. this is what you look like.”
Hamzah laughed, the sound making your stomach flutter. “Yeah, this is me. You’re not too disappointed, are you?”
Your mouth went dry as you took him in, from his muscular build visible even through the screen to the way his teeth gleamed when he smiled. He was more than you had imagined—so much more.
“No No! Not at all,” you managed to say, your voice betraying just a hint of the awe you felt. “You’re… definitely not what I expected.”
“Good or bad?” Hamzah asked, tilting his head slightly, a teasing smile on his lips.
“Definitely good,” you replied, your cheeks heating up. “Way better than good, actually.”
Hamzah’s confident exterior seemed to waver at the compliment, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. He looked away from the camera for a moment, clearly flustered. “Thanks,” he mumbled, clearly embarrassed but trying to brush it off with a laugh. “I mean I could say the same about you, you are so...beautiful, is that weird to say?”
You smiled, feeling a warm glow across your face. You’d been curious about what Hamzah looked like, but now that you knew, it felt like you could never go back to just calling. The face on the screen wasn’t just a voice or a friend—he was someone you could see yourself really falling for.
And as the conversation flowed from that moment on, just as it always did, you couldn’t help but wonder if Hamzah was feeling the same way.
The first call with Hamzah had gone even better than you could have imagined. The initial nerves had quickly went away, replaced by the familiar conversation that you both had already perfected over countless hours of gaming. But now, there was something different—an extra layer of connection that made every smile, every laugh, every glance feel more meaningful.
After that call, it became a regular part of your routine. You still played Minecraft together, but now you did so while seeing each other’s faces. The game became a backdrop to your conversations, a way to stay connected while exploring topics far beyond the blocky world on your screens.
Hamzah was now more than just someone you played Minecraft with—he was becoming someone you could confide in. He had this way of asking questions that made you open up, sharing pieces of yourself that you hadn’t shown to many people. And he did the same, revealing parts of his life that you hadn’t known before.
You’d talk about everything—your families, your lives, your favorites of anything. But there were also the quieter moments, the ones where neither of you felt the need to fill the silence. Those moments spoke louder than words ever could, and in them, you felt a growing relationship that made you feel warm all over.
One evening, as the two of you wandered through your Minecraft world, Hamzah leaned closer to the camera, his brown eyes gleaming with excitement.
“Okay, so hear me out,” he began, “I’ve been thinking about building this massive castle. Like, with those secret rooms, underground tunnels, the whole thing. What do you think?”
You smiled at his enthusiasm, watching as his curls bounced slightly with each gesture. “That sounds amazing,” you said, feeling your heart flutter at how passionate he was. “But only if we make it an actual project. I want it to be cute so please no ugly dirt towers.”
Hamzah grinned, his lips looking so soft, something that you hadn’t noticed before. “Ugh fine. It’s going to be so cool.”
As you started planning the castle, discussing everything from the type of stone to use to where the hidden passages would lead, you couldn’t help but be distracted by him. The way his eyes lit up when he was excited, the sound of his laughter when you teased him about his ambitious plans—it all made you feel an excitement that had nothing to do with the game and everything to do with him.
The more time you spent on these calls, the harder it became to ignore the way you felt about Hamzah. He was kind, funny, and ridiculously attractive without even trying. And every time he smiled at you through the screen, you found yourself falling a little more.
You hadn’t told him how you felt—partly out of fear, partly because you were content with the way things were. But deep down, you couldn’t help but wonder if Hamzah might feel the same way.
Then it was that Friday.
It was the evening, and you and Hamzah had just finished a particularly intense gaming night. Your characters were resting in a makeshift spruce house, and you both were still catching your breath from a surprise mob ambush that had left you laughing and shouting at the screen.
“That was insane,” Hamzah said, his grin wide and infectious. “I thought we were done for when those creepers showed up.”
“Honestly, same,” you laughed, leaning back in your chair. “But we made it through, thanks to me and you I guess.”
Hamzah shrugged, trying to play it cool, but you could tell he was pleased with the compliment. “Thank you thank you”
“Right,” you agreed, feeling that familiar comfort spread through you.
Just then, there was a noise on Hamzah’s end— voices you didn’t recognize, speaking in the background. Hamzah glanced off-screen, his expression shifting from relaxed to slightly annoyed.
“Hang on,” he said, raising a finger as if to pause the conversation. “Martin and Mandy are here. Let me just…” He trailed off as he turned away from the camera, clearly intending to mute his mic, but the sound of his voice continued to come through.
You heard the voice again, now more clearly. “Girl, are you still on with her?”
“Yeah, just finishing up,” Hamzah replied, his tone casual.
“You’re so lucky, man,” Mandy said, and you felt your breath catch in your throat. “She’s beautiful, like seriously. How did you even pull this off?”
You froze, your heart pounding as you realized what you were hearing. Hamzah had forgotten to mute himself, and now you were hearing a conversation you were never meant to hear.
Hamzah let out a soft, almost embarrassed laugh. “I know, right? I can’t believe it either. I’m really lucky. She’s just… incredible.”
Your face felt hot, your thoughts a whirlwind. Hamzah thought you were beautiful? And incredible? You could hardly believe what you were hearing. Part of you wanted to jump in and let him know that you could hear every word, but another part of you didn’t want to break the moment. It was as if everything you’d been wondering about, all the doubts and questions, had just been answered in one accidental confession.
Martin’s voice cut through your thoughts. “So, what are you going to do about it?”
Hamzah sighed, a mix of frustration and uncertainty in the sound. “I don’t know, man. I want to say something, but I don’t want to mess it up. What if she doesn’t feel the same?”
You swallowed hard, your heart aching at the vulnerability in his voice. Hamzah wasn’t just your friend—he was someone who cared about you, who was scared of losing what you had. And in that moment, you knew that whatever happened next, you didn’t want to lose him either.
Before you could decide whether to speak up, Hamzah’s attention snapped back to the camera. “Martin, get out of here, you too Mandy” he said, this time making sure to mute the call as he dealt with his friends.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself as you watched Hamzah return to the screen, his expression back to its usual playful self.
“Sorry about that,” he said, shaking his head. “They’re always showing up at the worst times.”
You smiled, the warmth in your chest now mixed with a newfound confidence. You knew now, without a doubt, that Hamzah saw you as more than just a friend. And even though he didn’t know you had overheard, you felt closer to him than ever.
But instead of revealing what you’d heard, you decided to let things unfold naturally. There was no rush—you had time, and you wanted to savor every moment of this friendship, letting it grow at its own pace.
“Don’t worry about it,” you said, your voice soft but steady. “I’m just glad we survived that though.”
Hamzah grinned, clearly relieved that you hadn’t seemed to notice anything unusual. “Same here. So, what’s next? More building, or are we calling it a night?”
You leaned forward, your heart still racing but your mind clear. “Let’s keep going. I think our castle could use a little more work.”
The castle was finally taking shape, with its towering walls and hidden rooms, all meticulously planned and built. You and Hamzah had spent hours perfecting every detail, and now, as the virtual sun began to set over your Minecraft world, you both stepped back to admire your work.
“Look at that,” Hamzah said, his voice filled with pride. “We actually did it.”
“Yeah, we did,” you agreed, smiling at the screen. “It’s perfect.”
For a moment, the two of you just sat there, quietly appreciating what you’d created together. But as the virtual day faded to night, so did your energy. You stifled a yawn, the late hour finally catching up to you.
“Hey,” you said softly, “I think I’m going to log off for the night. It’s getting pretty late.”
Hamzah hesitated, and you noticed the slight shift in his expression—a reluctance, as if he wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye yet. “Yeah, me too,” he finally said, though his voice lacked its usual enthusiasm. “But… do you think we could still stay on the call for a bit? You know, just talk?”
His request took you by surprise, though it wasn’t completely unexpected. Over the past few days, you’d grown accustomed to your late-night conversations, the ones that stretched long after the game had ended. There was something comforting about those quiet moments when it was just the two of you, the world around you fading into the background.
But tonight, you were exhausted, and the idea of lying in bed while still on call was tempting. You bit your lip, considering how to phrase your response.
“I’d love to,” you said gently, “but I’m getting ready for bed, so I’ll have to turn off my camera. Is that okay?”
There was a brief pause on Hamzah’s end, and when he spoke again, his voice was softer, tinged with something you couldn’t quite place. “Yeah, that’s okay. I just… I’ll miss your face, that’s all.”
You felt your heart skip a beat at his words, the unexpected vulnerability catching you off guard. Hamzah rarely let his guard down like this, and it was clear that he was nervous about admitting how he felt.
“Hamzah,” you said, smiling even though he couldn’t see you, “I’ll miss seeing you too. But I’m still here, even if you can’t see me.”
There was a soft, almost shy chuckle from his end. “I know, I know. It’s just… different, you know? Seeing you there, it just… makes me you know… happy.”
His words made your heart swell, and you couldn’t help but feel a rush of affection for him. “You make me happy too,” you replied, your voice warm and sincere.
Another pause, and then Hamzah spoke again, his tone a mix of relief and embarrassment. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to make it weird. I just… I really like talking to you.”
“You didn’t make it weird,” you assured him, your heart aching at how sweet and genuine he was. “I like talking to you too. That’s why I’m still here.”
There was a moment of silence, but it wasn’t awkward or uncomfortable. Instead, it was filled with understanding.
Finally, Hamzah let out a deep breath, as if he’d been holding it in. “Okay, well… I’ll let you get ready for bed. But don’t log off just yet, okay? I want to hear your voice a little longer.”
You smiled, feeling a warmth spread through you at his words. “I’m not going anywhere,” you promised.
With that, you turned off your camera and set your phone down, the screen now dark but still connected to Hamzah. You moved about your room, getting ready for bed while Hamzah kept talking, his voice a comforting presence in the background. He told you about his day, about something funny that had happened with Martin, and about a new game he thought you might like.
As you climbed into bed, you found yourself listening more to the sound of his voice than to the actual words. There was something soothing about it, something that made you feel safe and content. You closed your eyes, imagining his face even though you couldn’t see it.
“Hey,” Hamzah said after a while, his voice quieter now. “You still there?”
“Yeah,” you murmured, already feeling yourself drifting off. “I’m here.”
He chuckled softly. “You sound tired. Maybe I should let you sleep.”
“Maybe,” you agreed, though you didn’t really want to end the call. “But I don’t mind. I like listening to you.”
There was a pause, and then Hamzah spoke again, his voice barely above a whisper. “I like listening to you too. I could do this every night.”
The sincerity in his voice made your heart flutter, and you smiled, even though he couldn’t see it. “Maybe we will,” you whispered back.
“Yeah,” he said softly. “Maybe we will.”
And with that, you let the comforting sound of Hamzah’s voice carry you into sleep, knowing that when you woke up, he’d still be there—maybe not physically, but in the connection you shared, one that was growing stronger with every conversation.
As your breathing evened out, Hamzah listened to the silence on the other end of the call, a small smile playing on his lips. He didn’t say anything else, not wanting to wake you. Instead, he just stayed on the line for a little while longer, content to know that you were there, even if you weren’t awake to hear him.
And as he finally hung up the call, he couldn’t help but feel that something special was beginning to take shape, something that went beyond the game, beyond the screen—something lovely with Hamzah.

Look all I'm saying is that if I were going to make a minecraft movie.
Well, first off I'd put down the first person to even reccomend we do it in cgi. Not just because it looks objectively terrible and half of the magic and nostalgia factor of minecraft is in its texture but holy shit budget much??? You are literally looking at a situation where the cheaper option is also objectively the better option. What the fuck are you doing
But I mean, after that.
Second off, all my writers must watch popular smps and minecraft roleplays/let's plays to understand the "magic" of the game. That's how we're studying for this, not the game books or whatever. Those guys are clearly doing smthn right, and as the executive/writer who knows very little about mineraft that I am in this hypothetical scenario, I need to do my best to make money. And that means learning what people like about the game and community.
Maybe even bring on some popular (non controversial please god) smp writers for consulting. They literally make minecraft movies as their fucking job, they are the expert u need to consult
Story wise, you NEED to choose if you wanna play this straight or silly. I'm so sick of movies trying to be all emotional and "ohh this world is so beautiful,, if u could only understand,, woaa" with their epic sound track and dramatic lighting, but then the dialogue being ripped out of a stupid marvel knockoff trying too hard to be witty
Anyways. Give me a generic "kid has a hard life and uses [thing] to escape it but then their parent trashes [thing] to teach them a "lesson"" movie.
The thing is minecraft and this kid is totally in love with letsplays and smps and has a server with their online friends (get a sponsorship from discord for that good good film sponsorship money, have them play while in call)
The mom or dad or maybe both trash the kids computer for some reason (bad grades maybe or one of those shitty "you need to talk to us more!!! That computer is killing ur brain!!! You don't love us as much as you should and it's that damn games fault!!!" But like it's actually just a kid being a normal fucking kid and having normal fucking kid hobbies things and the parents are dicks)
They delete the minecraft world rip
Them boom, kid somehow gets stuck in the game
Switch to NON CGI FILMING IN MINECRAFT. If you really need to add your stupid shitty fucking cgi then at least make it look like an ACTUAL MINECRAFT ANIMATION holy shit
It'll save us so much money too
So main plot is this kid, being trapped in minecraft, actually falling through different minecraft servers.
We can have different cameos from popular smps and youtubers, get some old youtubers and gameplay in here too. Get fucking dantdm and the diamond minecarts og series with the lab thing, it'll make the old fans lose their fucking MINDS.
The youtubers themselves don't even have to show up, just shove the kid into settings that are clear references to smps and letsplays. Have them wander through Aphmau's OG minecraft diaries sets or Sundee's lucky block series
The best part is that as backdrops, you don't even have to fully commit to "you'll only get this/find this interesting if you know these guys" bc if your writing is good enough you can still make people care by just. Introducing it correctly. Don't present it as "Aphmau's old minecraft diaries series world" go "oh wow look st this cool village,, woah I wonder who built this ,," And have them interact with NPCs organically
Meanwhile the parents go into the game after the kid to bring them back and we do this whole world hopping adventure where the parents learn that,, minecraft can be fun? Actually?
They find the kid and the kid is like "nooo I'm having too much fun the real world SUCKS!!!" but then we do that "it's cool to have fun and indulge but you still need to be present in the real world and do real people things too in order to have that fun responsibly" where somehow the kid realizes that moderation is good for u.
Maybe they almost die in game fr fr? Every world they enter has its difficulty upped a little bit till they enter *gasp* a hardcore world (oh no)
So like the kid learns that you can't just lock yourself in the room and wish the world goes away while you play minecraft for 12 hours straight, and the parents learn that minecraft is cool and fun and can be a good outlet and outlets are important for adults and children alike. And also that they totally pulled a dick move and they need to try to understand their kid instead of just demanding the kid understands them
Somewhere along the way, the kid ends up in their friends server and the friends help to pull them out of the game w the parents
We end the movie with the kid making an effort to be more present with the parents, and the parents also making an effort to interact with the kid in ways that they know the kid will enjoy and respond well to— shown a family dinner scene where the kid very eagerly eats their food while talking about school, then they all go to play minecraft together
The end <3
Oh right and if you seriously want Jack Black there so fucking bad then make him either the dad or like. School computer teacher who helps the kid use Minecraft EU to learn science (shows off that some schools use minecraft for education purposes) who also helps the kids friends pull them and the parents out of the game
Overall, lots of themes not just about how the game is cool and can let you do cool shit, but also about how the community is cool, and how it's provided so many kids and adults outlets to express themselves and have fun together
That's how you do a game movie
Anyways yeah, minecraft movie looks shit. Hire me instead next time

Anyway Quackity was one of the people on DSMP who was most involved in and invested in lore. Las Nevadas and the Butcher Army and the Red Banquet and everything with L'Manberg. He clearly loved telling the story he wanted to tell and playing on a roleplay server.
But a lot of creators have pointed out that the most fun they had on the server was when they were doing improv, when they were reacting to things that happened and building the story naturally that way. When things got scripted, when creators had to come up with and write and execute their lore basically on their own, when it stopped being playing and started being acting, that's when you got players disengaging and losing interest and motivation. By the end, literally every bit of lore was scripted. Most of it was prerecorded just so it could end up telling a complete story, instead of starting a dozen plot threads that had to be abandoned when the other people involved didn't answer your DMs or the big lore day that was meant to move the whole server's story along didn't happen. The last big, whole-server lore event only happened because Technoblade was dying. Communication was so bad that was the only thing that could get everyone to get organised enough for a single day of lore, a story event that had been set up for months.
And so when Quackity comes up with his own server, he wants it to have a strong roleplay element (if that's what the other creators involved end up wanting). Quackity loved his roleplaying on DSMP. But he wants it to be fun for the creators as well as for the fans, and the way lore was fun on DSMP was for it to be improv, not for it to be creators acting out a script. But things got scripted because once they set up a story, it had to escalate in a specific way in order for it to be narratively satisfying, which made it less fun. A single arc is fine, but things just won't work for more than that without at least a loose script. By the end DSMP wasn't roleplay, it was acting. Some creators managed to tell satisfying stories, but it wasn't the same as when it was a bunch of friends messing around doing Hamilton Breaking Bad improv because it was fun. The DSMP, for a good chunk of its life, was not fun to play on. So people didn't.
But how do you set up satisfying, coherent stories over a long period of time while also maintaining the fun roleplay element? Someone needs to guide them and develop them, but it can't be the creators on a server if you're going to keep the fun roleplay element.
Hence the admins, and their role not just maintaining the server, but in developing and guiding the story. Their role is basically a GM, in tabletop roleplaying terms, and the creators get to be player characters roleplaying in reaction to that. Creators don't know much more than we do; how many times have creators said they don't get told shit, have they been told to log on and been faced with huge big developments they didn't see coming and have to figure out how to roleplay that? QSMP works kind of like Dungeons and Dragons but in Minecraft. Keeps the story consistent and escalating, without the need for creators to sacrifice their own enjoyment of their content.
I don't know how stuff like Karmaland works, maybe Quackity got it from there. But as a former Dream SMP fan, I see Quackity taking the best part of DSMP and finding a way to make it work for something a lot more sustainable and ambitious, keeping it fun and enjoyable for both fans and creators.

Heyy :) Can you please write headcanons of dating quackity, but in his earlier eras? (like 2019-21 maybe) ❤
ooooo yes of course!!! ; fun fact I've been watching him since 2018 or so (I don't mean this in a "Oh I'm cooler than you way) ; thank you for the request!! this was fun as hell ; I tried to kinda do it in a chronological order but yeah, I did like stuff and then more details of relationship if that makes sense yk???
QUACKITY ; 2019-2021 era
warnings ; language, talk of drugs, jokes about sex
genre ; fluff
word count ; 858
masterlist
Tumblr media
Raiding Club Penguin with him and Axel was a core memory for you. It was the first true time, however cringe it sounds, that you saw Alex as your best friend.
he'd always try to make you laugh, especially on stream
such a little tease
back in the olden days, we had those Discord server 'wtf is that food' videos
you guys rank some of them and how likely you'd eat them
also ranking Discord memes
so many of them were dumb shit or weird shipart from like 2015 deviantart LMFAO
"guys I know me and y/n are dating but that doesn't mean compare us to Shrek couples!"
"I thought Thanos was your true love?"
"He-He is! Oh my God, stop being so desperate, y/n. ugh"
once he got invited to the Dream SMP, you were all ears and proudly taught him how to play Minecraft
you made his alt skin with the tuxedo, which he didn't wear often, but used in lore some time later
youd often help him with lore ideas
he also got you invited into the SMP where he introduced you to some of his new friends
you knew schlatt and some others, but most of these people were new and it was nice meeting all of them
the fiances are established and then you and quackity are already a think and you also like karl, which creates a weird love rectangle with an open end because you and sapnap are sharing the other two 💀
lore goes fuckin crazy with that
while Karl's off making Kinoko Kingdom and Quackity's running Las Nevadas, you're building El Tropicana, off in the far away jungle biome
Alex would usually stream and translate Mexican soap operas, which you joined in for sometimes
you'd give the characters different voices and twist their words up a bit to make it more entertaining for chat
the amount of drug talk that went into that was wild
also the amount of queer kids bullied in those schools?? yikes on bikes
also the one with that girl who got in trouble for kissing a boy on the playground or whatever that was?? Jesus christ man
youd both act put the scenes on occasion and use Tiger as whatever kid was being yelled at if she was in the room with you
taking a break halfway through stream for him to play guitar and for you to karaoke to fuckin Bo Burnham
also making fake joints out of paper he had laying around and "lighting them up" aka setting paper on fire next to a PC and your faces
Jackbox streams with the Feral Boys until 3am>>>
Paranormal Activity in the middle of the night went so fucking crazy
teaching Bad how to play GTA is your favorite memory with those two
playing horror games and watching him play horror games with Karl while he visited him
how dare he leave you all alone (you couldn't go because you had a busy schedule)
your chats shipping the hell out of you and your dsmp characters
hella fanart and fanfictions man
try not to laugh streams where you always ended up laughing before the ten minute mark because of him
he purposefully does shit to make you laugh
reading fanfiction on stream was a regular activity especially for y/s/n
youd rank the book on a scale from one to ten and how accurate to real life they were
"nahhhh that one doesn't have enough Thanos, two out of ten"
"yknow what... were gonna have our own tier lists... okay?"
"damnit... does this mean I'm not getting laid later?"
"what"
promoting the quackityhq merch religiously
also stealing whichever beanie he wasn't wearing, either the LAFD one or the plain black and blue one
him tying you to a chair and forcing you to laugh was a common stream plot
tweets that were either very inconspicuous about drugs, very sexual, or very old married couple vibes
youd both be frequently trending on twitter
hot wings or dare streams with Bad >>>>
playing girls go games and hoping you wouldn't give his PC a virus
sitting in the inflatable pool fully clothed, playing with children's bath toys
he'd for sure be the type to fall for his best friend
whether it be all the way back then or just now, he could go forever without feeling any feelings but one day they'll show up and the nervousness begins
he'd lend you a hoodie if you were cold in his room and he just straight up begs you to keep it
lots of just staring at you while chat ships you, like genuinley just zones out on your pretty face
would probably doubt his feelings at first and talk to his mom about it and she's like "boy you have a crush. Go ask them the hell out, you're a handsome young man, I'm pretty sure they like you too"
"mOooOooOoOoM"
genuinley spoils you with no good reason and after a while you just accept it
he starts sending good morning and good night texts
he'll repost (or reblog) (he has a secret tumblr) fanart of you two, especially if it's shipart
will constantly send you clips of movie characters making out or kissing and say "this should be us"

Hello I mcyt fandom-ified la Team du Lundi members and wrote a shit ton of text about it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After exhausting myself on trying to catch up on the current QSMP lore I got a sudden craving for a more familiar and fast paced kind of minecraft content and ended up rewatching all the Team du Lundi's SMP best of's I could find
And while doing so with my brain still hazed in fandom brainrot, I started picking up on minor details or info the players casually dropped, and drew parallels to the French speakers' QSMP counterparts This is going to be a long wordy post I don't even know what I am rambling about and for. Three things you need to be aware of about la Team du Lundi before reading :
Baghera, Antoine and Etoiles are the only QSMP players that are part of la Team du Lundi
As far as I remember the only two elements that suggest that la Team du Lundi's SMP could be canon to QSMP are Antoine being pressured into building another Tower of Shit, and Baghera's infamous fountain being mentioned when she was asked if her character remembers anything from her past before the island
La Team du Lundi's SMP was NOT a roleplaying server, it was just a private survival server for a small circle of friends casually playing together. So whenever I quote someone in this specific post, it is the streamer : there is no character other than the persona the streamer is usually showing on stream, but I just thought it would be fun to interpret certain situations while keeping in mind the QSMP lore. And here goes :
Baghera claims that when she was a kid she strongly believed that she could breathe underwater. The others joke about her having fins
Antoine jokingly tells Baghera he doesn’t need oxygen at all
Antoine claims he will still be alive thousands of years forwards
Antoine’s voice shifts when he wants to appear creepy
Baghera built an aquarium at her place, then helped Antoine build one at his tower, then built a giant swimming pool, then a fountain, then a waterslide- do you see a theme ?
Baghera knows that her skin is actually that of a chick and not a duckling, and calls it so here
Chat said that Baghera has a middle child syndrome, justifying that she bullies Angle Droit because Etoiles bullies her in the first place (Etoiles has also called her « little sister » in a derogatory way)
Etoiles has repeatedly asked people to play Valorant with him at least once
Here's a clip of Etoiles getting languaged in french and owing "a gifted sub in the swear jar"
Unrelated random clip of Etoiles because it creates happy hormones in me brain
Etoiles is regularly refered to as "the warrior"
Etoiles guided the whole group during an expedition to the End and he was literally glowing doing so (enchanted arrows effect) Everyone called him "the guide"
Baghera was the one who gave the final blow to the Enderdragon (and died from magic right after)
Etoiles spent most of his time adventuring in order to bring stuff and gear back to everyone for their builds
Etoiles asked Aypierre for help in order to design a redstone door for his cave which could only open upon solving a puzzle (which was egg & arrow related) (Aypierre was not a member of the server)
Etoiles built a nightclub with the walls and ceiling covered in wardenblocks making it look like a starry sky. He also rehomed Allays holding golden apples inside claiming them to be the souls working for him and that they lived there peacefuly
Etoiles jokingly talks about Antoine acting jealous and violent towards him because Etoiles told him he wanted to go and visit Kameto (who also was not a member of the server)
Baghera (along with Horty) had a rivalry with Joueur du Grenier (host of the server with admin powers) after he decided to build a massive parking lot right next to their house. They countered by covering the whole thing with dirt, followed by JDG building a factory and the two parties went back and forth. Baghera argued that it was stupid because they didnt even have cars to begin with (which is a sentence she reused when talking about Forever's roads) Also she tells JDG that he could've built a seaport instead, which makes JDG contemplate the thought of building an airport (and though he ended up never building it, I am side eyeing the French's plane crash)
At some point JDG wonders about what a roleplaying minecraft server would look like (RPZ 2), to which Baghera replies that she has a hard time picturing the thing "We'd all just build things you see ? I don't think we'd create stories, we would all just be like "I'm a builder, ah you too ? Well awesome, builders, cool"" and I find this to be hilariously ironic (fun fact : Baghera had no idea that QSMP was a roleplaying server when she first joined and often claims she would've taken a different approach with her character had she known right off the gate)
As I was finishing to write this down, these fuckers (/lh) decided to host a closure night for the server as they've never really officially did it, everyone just sort of deserted the server after a while. Baghera, Etoiles and Antoine kept referring to QSMP throughout the night, mostly talking about how weird it felt without mods. Among other meta commentary things
They mentionned Cellbit and Bad multiple times as the group was trying to solve enigmas. Antoine talked about "the cultural sharing" between communities as he taught insults to each others with Mike, Roier and Maximus in their respective languages Multiple more players were namedropped (including eggs) while Antoine was talking about how the server functions
Yes, Baghera and Etoiles kept their QSMP skins. Etoiles with his code corrupted purgatory one, and Baghera with her fading pink disheveled hair (with the addition of her cubito wearing Horty's merch)
Baghera admits that going back to this small familiar vanilla server feels like coming back home to your family during the holidays
Team du Lundi's cameos in QSMP :
Though Pomme has never canonically met JDG (even though most of her parents have talked about him to her at least once), she occasionaly breaks the 4th wall to refer to him. She once compared one of BBH's "vacation" flower shirts with his, and when Foolish and Bad asked her to elaborate (obviously not getting the reference) she proceeded to play JDG's music theme with the flute instead (Also I really feel the need to once more point out how mindblowing it is for your average french speaking viewer to have JDG's intro theme being added to the mod they use in the QSMP because of how anchored it is within french internet pop culture. Like this shit has been existing for 14 fucking years, it's part of the childhood of a lot of us, so to find a clip of British hardcore player Philza peacefuly listening to Mexican egg admin Tallulah play this theme on her flute feels like a multiverse fever dream)
Horty has been on Quesadilla Island through cc!Baghera's account, but neither of them really wanted to justify it RP wise. Baghera just wanted to give her best friend a tour of the island. Horty only got to meet Richarlyson who gave her a tour of Cellbit's castle and made her pick a room (she chose Chaos). She also chatted with Etoiles who tagged along for a bit and (this is obviously justified by it being a one-shot out of roleplay filler episode kind of night) they both already knew each other and were on friendly enough terms to bicker with one another Also she was part of the French speakers Quackity reached out to to invite on the server, but she had to decline because she was very busy at that time (and also not interested) Also also she was Baghera's teammate for that Formula 4 event, and Baghera has discussed it and showed pictures to a couple of islanders, including Richas who was very hyped about it
Another player the viewers were hoping to see on Quackity's server is Mynthos. He exists within the server with the picture of him that hangs in Pomme's art gallery, the cursed animation video that used to play in La France, as well as with Aypierre's health potion factory that bears his name
Angle Droit and Zerator are sometimes namedropped when the French speakers talk with their chat. Angle Droit frequently raids Baghera's and Antoine's streams, and though it has never been confirmed, a lot of viewers theorized that she was the +1 player Baghera and Etoiles wanted to invite on the server had they won the elections.
As for Zera, Etoiles went AFK on QSMP a couple of times in order to test some of Zerator's TrackMania maps (which he later discussed with Pac). I also remember a very trivial conversation Etoiles had with Mouse and Aypierre where he laughed about hurting his back very badly after carrying a fellow streamer during a caritative event, said event was hosted by Zerator (he's also the one judging them with concern from his desk)
I'm done.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonus alternative design for Angle Droit because at first I thought she was a fox then it turned out she was a corgi but then she changed it again to a fox and woop

Given how much Scar’s character knows. (From him connecting series that we don’t think he should know about to his character. And him knowing things he shouldn’t…) I’m on the band wagon that Scar is some sort of Eldtrich God.
Righttt like, my best guess is he's some sort of dimension-hopper or something... a traveling trickster god.. mentally i'm at a corkboard w/all the red strings connecting to different scars trying to piece it all together, holding my head in my hands
It's like. Okay. He had an encounter with s8 tycoon scar where he stole his hat, and he killed him (?) but today he said he simply broke a wheel on the wagon and stole the hat? He says each hat has a story. Does Jellie's hat also have a story. Jellie obviously travels with him across every universe. He seems not to mind when people don't remember who he is but he gets VERY upset when people don't know who Jellie is; just thought that was interesting
Did P!Scar travel to the hermitcraft season 8 universe? After the moon hit the server? Did tycoon scar travel to the pirates universe? Or are they the same person and it's just a lie? When he first spawns in Pirates SMP he makes it a point to mention a mysterious flower crown in his inventory. He says it's an important crown, and it's the only one on the server. Buttercups??? (Sidenote he also spawns with some blocks of cyan glazed terracotta. Not sure what that's about but it's dangerously close to being light blue glazed aka the vex magic. I would have lost my mind)
At the very beginning Scar says his ship was called the Flying Jellie. The Flying Jellie. What if it wasn't a boat. What if it was a space ship. He calls it a pirate ship but that doesn't necessarily mean a boat, ti could be a space pirate ship. (He's done loopholes with his phrasing like this before, like today when he sold michela a sword that was "nearly full" durability, only to later clarify it was "nearly full-y depleted"). He says he won an important battle with the ship, but he lost the ship and the crew. I've seen people say that the crew is supposed to have been boatem, not sure if that's canon? Is the ship story even true?
He made references to both Pearl and Grian today, are they his Pearl and Grian from the pirates universe or is he referring to the hermits? He mentions Pearl by name to Sausage, who says he doesn't know who that is (and yet Sausage goes on to casually mention the moon at the mention of Pearl, either Sausage is also a dimension-hopper and he's bluffing or he has a subconscious connection to his other lives). He doesn't say Grian's name but he talks about a man on his crew who sunk with the ship that's very obviously meant to be Grian (says the man's head looked like a loaf of bread, that he wore red, would have been a Kite). He doesn't seem too upset about the loss.
He greets Cleo, Scott and Martyn when he first sees them even though they don't know who he is. Cleo flat-out says "I don't believe we've met" after he greets her by name. Interestingly enough when he first calls Martyn by name, Martyn doesn't question it (I know Martyn also has some Lore going on, maybe he recognizes Scar too) Also I saw someone point out that his pants resemble mayor scar's pants. Possible season 7 reference, season 8 reference with tycoon scar and a possible? season 9 reference?? with that flower crown???
I literally can't tell if he has this planned-out intricate lore that connects all of his minecraft SMP characters like Martyn does or if he's literally just saying random stuff for fun. His character could be lying about his entire backstory, we don't know. i have no idea what's important to the lore and what isn't. this man is such a trickster god its not even funny. tldr WHAT IS GOING ON

Minecraft pvp is so freaking interesting. I was thinking back to watching the Jumper pov of the Minute and Pentar ban and it was so good. Like I was on the edge of my seat and I knew how it ended. We need more group battles in Lifesteal, I beg.
1v1 pvp is just like who can get the most hits in, or just who can quick drop the other person faster.
But group fights are sooooo different. The actual personality and experience of each member matters so much. And it doesn't show until there's at least 5 people on the battlefield. Preferably 7.
Minute, Pentar, and Jumper came with basically identical kits, very solo-minded towards their approach to pvp. They got overconfident with their secretly-netherite armor durability and 15 stacks of xp (each.)
And they, as far as I know, have very very little experience in large group battles and long pvp battles. They all fought drain season 5, but 4v3 group drain is much different than a 2v2.
And the fight was LONG. Minute didn’t realize the change in tides until really late, not initiating the run to the trap, their ONLY trap my goodness why didn’t they set up more it’s the final days, so when the trap was already blown up they had zero backup plan.
They didn’t start calling in people until Minute had like 2-3 stacks of xp left, that’s something you do the second you realize the tides are turning, especially when it’s an uneven 3v4.
And just listening to his coms vs Clown’s coms was just night and day. Minute doesn’t have the experience yet to know how to manage a team in a fight, how to allocate assets, choose targets, and keep the team’s morale up and on target while they’re dying. He’s said it himself that he likes the quicker fights kits with netherite sword and diamond armor.
But Clown is naturally skilled at managing his soldiers. He knows exactly who to target and how, reassigning pvp skill so it’s him, the most skilled, with the least skilled player to do maximum durability damage on Minute. Like every phrase out of his mouth is in service of optimizing the team.
And then they came with a minor kit adjustments. Clown and Mapicc came with harming arrows because of their net strength 1 from the blessings/curses, but Minute didn’t know that strat. So it was both an: “they’re trolling” moment, but when Clown came with the same kit it was like: “wait did I miss something?” Psychological warfare right there.
And then Mapicc had his knockback sword and Zam was on water drain duty. Those two small changes to their kit, on just two members, really sealed their victory. Mapicc was such a menace.
Which is so fascinating. Minute had been ruling the server simply through being amazing at getting out of fights and never getting into a slightly outnumbered fight. Same with Jumper. 2v2’s for them were a guaranteed win.
But once you get 7 people on the battlefield it turns into a completely different mindset on how to turn the tides back in your favor and it’s all about targeting specific players. As Clown was targeting the strongest player on their team, pb&j needed to get drain-drop Ro so it would be a 3v2.5 (with Zam/Spep)
And Jumper, just because of her skill level and background, doesn’t know the dynamics of who to target and when, when to be aggressive and when to back off, when to call for help and when it’s better to stay in the fight. She did absolutely her best but it was so interesting to see he true smp pvp skill after months of just being like why is she so good in every fight and undefeated against Mapicc and Zam while she says she never practices.
Lifesteal fights, and yes I’ve only ever really watched Lifesteal fights and I am fascinated in theory for how Levels fights used to go, feel so much more dirty than a normal server. It feels like other servers just get a trap off or fight completely even and it’s just skill vs skill. (And I’m feeling that even more now just observing how Flame talks about other smp pvp)
And Clown coming into the fight with an advantage was so much stronger than Minute deciding an advantage halfway though the fight. Clown does this all the time, not taking a fight until he’s properly prepped for the specific situation. Like bringing the crystals to the finale fight to even out the playing field: he prepares to get the advantage.
Vs Minute is too good-hearted to think that cutthroat from the start (well, except for changing the durability of their armor) He absolutely thinks cut-throat when he realizes he’s doomed, but off the bat he’s too much a superhero. He thought the fight would just be Mapicc and Ro while Zam would sit out, like what??? It’s Lifesteal, if they’re on they’re all fighting. And then they were surprised when Clown came back on to fight. They were confident, but they should have been thinking defensively and like they were doomed the second it was a 4v3. Maybe not doomed, but not like it was even.
Much like all the lore of the server, the specific players matter so much in each scenario. Without someone, or with someone, a whole arc is different. Clown changed the tides in that fight simply from being the better team manager. Had someone else been the 4th player it would have gone completely differently.
-----
jumper pov here
zam here fight starts 2:47:00
