and i know. i know that doctors hate it when you present possible diagnoses and that you should let them do it themselves but like. you don't understand. i have had 22 years of not having anything done when i had a health concern, to the point where i stopped even realizing that things were concerning until someone else pointed out to me that it may be a problem.

so im coming armed and prepared and if the doctor refuses to work with me like im an actual person, then i will leave and i will ask for a different doctor. rinse and repeat until i find someone who will actually help me.

It's the 26th of January here on my country, which means one thing. It's Changkyun's birthday! 🥳

It seems messy and rushed but believe me, actually there's a reason why it looks like this. It's connected with the little letter I wrote above for him sooooo...we'll go to the emotional part immediately.

Changkyun holds a special place into my heart. When I discovered Monsta X and I was listening to their discography, he was the member I recognized the most.

Surely the main reason was connected to his rapper role (rappers are the first members I always, and I mean ALWAYS, recognize when I discover a new group.) but what stood out to me was his voice too. It was deep, a little raspy and incredibly sweet. Exactly, sweet. It might sound strange but if you've listened to Monsta X's most mellow songs probably you might have noticed how his voice changes. And it was for this reason why he immediately became my bias at the time.

Even tho, I must admit I thought that I biased the wrong member after watching some photos of him. I really blamed my instinct at the time. I really said to myself "Seriously? Him? It looks like the cold member. Probably I'll change the bias line after a while." I was so naive at the time, I didn't dive into Monsta X's extra content yet.

And in fact, after a little more dive into their content, I've discovered that behind this cold man, there's actually an introvert member who tries to stay calm while the others bring chaos, but then he joins them in the exact moment he feels comfortable. I've discovered a man with a very silly sense of humour, someone who makes the most cracked selfies when he has the occasion, someone who's completely incapable to do an handstand and someone who gives us the warmest smile when he's genuinely happy. And I've understood that my instinct was right once again. Changkyun was meant to become my bias.

My dear Changkyun, during these recent years you've been very open with us about your insecurities and how you really want to show different sides of you. Last year you made a brave decision, something that not everyone can do. I must admit that I even got scared at the time because I really thought for a moment that you really decided to leave the group. I was silly, I know.

I'm so proud of you already, I love the direction you gave to your songs and I can't wait for an entire album made by this new you. Please, keep showing us this new sides, don't be afraid of the outcome. Many fans are ready to cheer you and supporting you on this path.

Good god, even with the light-hearted BGM and Claire talking and explaining through everything really fast so we don’t have to dwell on just how scary this unexpected virus was, it’s still freaking terrifying that it spread among all her kitties (except TT cuz of those supplements for her kidney problems, thank goodness) and that their illness reached dangerous levels so quickly.

I’m so sorry Claire and her babies had to go through this, especially during Lunar New Year holidays, but I’m so super glad they were able to overcome it and recover because of her tireless efforts.
