Post-Delivery Care Instructions for Normal Vaginal Delivery: A Comprehensive Guide
After the joyous and often intense experience of childbirth through normal vaginal delivery (NVD), the focus shifts to post-delivery care for both the mother and the newborn. This period, also known as the postpartum period, is crucial for the physical and emotional recovery of the mother and the well-being of the baby. Understanding the necessary care instructions is essential to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. Get best advice from Best Normal Vaginal Delivery doctors in Delhi.
Post-Delivery Care Instructions for Mothers:
Rest and Recovery: After childbirth, the mother needs adequate rest to recover from labor and birth. It's essential to prioritize rest and avoid strenuous activities in the days following delivery.
Perineal Care: If the mother has experienced perineal tears or an episiotomy during childbirth, proper perineal care is crucial for healing. This includes keeping the area clean and dry, using sitz baths, and applying prescribed medications or soothing ointments as recommended by healthcare providers.
Pain Management: It's common for women to experience postpartum pain, including uterine cramping and discomfort in the perineal area. Over-the-counter pain relievers or prescribed medications can help manage pain effectively.
Hydration and Nutrition: Adequate hydration and a nutritious diet are essential for postpartum recovery and breastfeeding success. Drinking plenty of water and consuming nutrient-rich foods can support healing and replenish energy levels.
Pelvic Floor Exercises: Pelvic floor exercises, also known as Kegel exercises, can help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles weakened during childbirth. These exercises aid in bladder control and promote faster recovery of pelvic floor function.
Emotional Support: The postpartum period can bring about a range of emotions, including joy, excitement, anxiety, and sadness. It's essential for mothers to seek emotional support from partners, family members, friends, or support groups to navigate the emotional challenges of new motherhood.
Post-Delivery Care Instructions for Newborns:
Skin-to-Skin Contact: Skin-to-skin contact between the mother and newborn is beneficial for bonding, regulating the baby's temperature, and establishing breastfeeding. Encouraging frequent skin-to-skin contact in the early days after birth can promote a strong parent-infant bond.
Breastfeeding Support: If breastfeeding, seek assistance from lactation consultants or healthcare providers to ensure proper latch and positioning. Breastfeeding provides essential nutrients and antibodies for the baby and promotes maternal-infant bonding.
Umbilical Cord Care: Keep the umbilical cord stump clean and dry to prevent infection. Avoid submerging the baby in water until the umbilical cord stump falls off naturally, typically within one to two weeks after birth.
Diaper Changes: Change the baby's diaper frequently to keep the skin clean and dry. Use gentle wipes or warm water and cotton balls for cleaning the diaper area to prevent irritation and diaper rash.
Newborn Screening and Vaccinations: Follow the recommended schedule for newborn screening tests and vaccinations to ensure the baby's health and well-being.
Sleep Patterns: Newborns sleep for short periods throughout the day and night. Establishing a consistent sleep routine can help regulate the baby's sleep patterns over time.
Conclusion:
Post-delivery care following normal vaginal delivery is essential for the well-being of both mother and baby. By following these care instructions and seeking support from healthcare providers, family members, and friends, new parents can navigate the challenges of the postpartum period with confidence and ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. Doctor's Orders: in which you have an interesting visit with your gynecologist when you come to him with an inconvenient problem.

“M’name is Dr. Harry Styles. You can call me Harry, Dr. Styles, or Doc. Whatever you’re comfortable with. I’m personally fine with it all. I know your name already and…” he blows out a breath with his eyes comically wide “…basically your entire medical history so I think it’s safe to say we’re well acquainted!” You take his hand and shake it softly, a small giggle leaving your lips. You don’t miss the way he glances down at the contact. His hand feels nice. And you know it’s weird to be thinking that about your doctor, especially when that same hand will probably be somewhere near your genitals in the next couple of minutes, but his hand feels really nice against yours. Calloused and sturdy, yet gentle and soft.
You appreciate how he immediately got in tune with how cracking jokes made you more comfortable. It feels like extra effort to you and a warm feeling blooms in your chest at how attentive he is. You can tell that he cares about his patients and takes pride in his job, and it makes you feel so much more comfortable.
“Okay m’darling. Says you’re here for a regular check up. Are you sure there’s no concerns? Nothing we should be worryin’ about? She was dead-set on becoming a nun before Harry found her and swept her off her feet. He loved and cared for her, showing her he would never hurt her like her ex did. How do they behave in the face of your pregnancy?
All characters are over 25 years old ;D
Tumblr media
Midoriya Izuku
Tumblr media
- The first action Izuku did when he found out about your pregnancy was to let out big tears of joy, he hugged you with so much love for the new life you have in you.
- He always calls you at the time of his patrols to know if you are feeling well and if you need something for him to buy it for you, it makes you tender at his action of always being helpful to you.
- When he arrives after a day of surveillance, the first thing you do is kiss your forehead and unconsciously he puts his big hand on your belly where his future child is growing, feeling the warmth of his hand on your belly gives you so much peace.
- He always cares when you were in the famous ascos in your first 3 months of pregnancy, he would gently caress your back while you were feeling pretty bad, you appreciated those moments of support in front of you and your poor stomach.
- He goes out of his way to be at your gynecologist appointments, even if it means escaping his patrols and his phone won't stop ringing.
- He fulfills your cravings, although sometimes he worries when you ask for extravagant things, he doesn't judge you, he just gets tender and a little nervous about the combinations you make.
- When you sleep Izuku always kisses you with all his love and hugs you gently for fear of crushing you.
Todoroki Shoto
Tumblr media
- He was nervous about the news that they were going to be parents, he was afraid to be like Endeavor, but you calmed him down, saying that they can make mistakes, but from that they will learn, they will never stop supporting each other.
- He was reading all the books about pregnancy and parenthood, how to support you in everything, for you that was very adorable and reminded you of how you fell in love with that serious and kind boy.
- Always when the two of you slept, Shoto was always looking out for you, for any discomfort or craving you might have, for you it is cute and funny to see how he rushes out when he goes to buy the craving he gave you in the middle of the night, (mostly it was cold soba).
- When he broke the news to his family that they were going to be parents, he was very nervous about how his family would react, but everything turned out well and it reassured Shoto to know that he has the support of his siblings and parents.
- He likes to spend on everything he sees cute for his baby, no matter how much it costs, you see it and it's already in your hands.
- When it's your gynecologist appointments he always accompanies you, he holds your hand when you have the ultrasound in his mind it's to calm your nerves, but he is the nervous one.
- After a very hectic day of going out, the first thing he does is help you sit down and massage your tired feet, he always has creams for leg pain near the room.
Bakugo Katsuki
Tumblr media
- A big, smug smile was on his face all day when he found out about your pregnancy, he kept bragging to all the "extras" that he would be the best father in the world.
- Katsuki, being one of the most recognized heroes in all of Japan, was always careful not to leave you alone, no matter the circumstances.
- He always went to every appointment with you at the gynecologist, making sure you felt safe and at ease.
- All the baby's clothes are from his hero merchandise, he would not let his baby wear clothes from other extras (heroes) because for him they are not worthy for his future child to wear that kind of clothes.
- To you, Katsuki would always hold you gently by the waist, giving you soft and loving kisses thanking you for expanding his family and saying how great you were.
- If you had a craving, Bakugo would make it for you, preferring to make you the food you were craving before buying it for fear that it would hurt you and just to prove that he was the best cook.
- If you get tired don't be scared when Katsuki picks you up and carries you in his arms, you are a little embarrassed, but he knows you love to get up and take you home like this.

Period Products 101
There isn't much sex education in the US and Canada, so here's some information on period products.
I'm going over the common disposable and reusable period products, how to use them safely, what is most accessible for people with disabilities, if they can be used with an IUD, and if you can have sex with them in.
Pads and Tampons
Pads are a disposable period product placed on the underwear and worn outside the body. For boy-shorts and boxers, use pads without wings.
Tampons are a disposable period product inserted into the vagina to prevent blood from leaking outside the body. They are also safe to use in water and during physical activity.
Both tampons and pads can hold approximately 10-15 mL of fluid. Note that tampons should be worn to near saturation to prevent pain on removal. Pads and tampons can be safely worn for 4–8 hours. Be sure to always use pads and tampons made out of cotton and are fragrance-free.
Period Underwear
Period underwear is the reusable replacement to pads. It's functionally just another underwear you wear and can hold 20-40 mL of fluid. After use, rinse it out to remove the blood and throw it in the wash within 2 days. Aisle also has boxer options for people who prefer a more traditionally masculine style.
Period underwear can be worn for a full day safely, although some brands recommend replacing every 12 hours. They should last you upwards of 5 years.
Menstrual Cups and Discs
Menstrual cups and discs are the reusable alternative to tampons. Both can be worn safely in the water and during physical activity. PeriodNirvana has a quiz to help suggest the best cup or disc for you.
Menstrual cups are a small cup made of medical grade silicon that are inserted into the vagina and create a seal to prevent blood from exiting the vagina. They can hold approximately 30 mL of fluid.
Menstrual discs are a disc made of medical grade silicon that sits behind the vaginal fornix without creating a seal. They can hold approximately 50 mL of fluid.
To wear cups/discs safely, take it out and wash it every 10–12 hours using fragrance-free soap before re-insertion and boil your cup/disc once a month for about 5 minutes.
The product will come with a booklet explaining the insertion and removal process because it's a bit involved. Additionally, insertion or removal may get blood on your fingers. There should be no pain in the process.
Cups and discs last up to 10 years of use. If it's showing signs of degradation or falls into the toilet, replace it with a new one.
Toxic Shock Syndrome
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a very rare but also life-threatening case of bacteria entering the body and releasing toxins. It is very rare but using tampons, menstrual cups, and menstrual discs is associated with increased risk (sources: NLM, saalt). Use the products as directed on the instructions to prevent TSS. Set a timer to replace/wash if needed.
IUDs
Most research currently shows that using a menstrual cup, menstrual disc, or tampons will not increase your risk of IUD expulsion, which occurs in about 3-10% of IUD insertions. That said, I have seen papers claiming the opposite and that more research needs to be done.
Be sure to discuss with your gynecologist and if it's possible to cut your IUD string shorter. Reproductive rights are not protected in many places, and it might be safer to use a pad or period panties.
PFAs
PFAs are commonly called "forever chemicals" and are a type of chemical that will not break down in nature. They have been linked to several negative health effects, including cancer. Under the current EPA standard editions, PFAs are prohibited in certified products. If present as a contaminant, the level must be below 100 ppm. There currently isn't much conclusive research on how bad PFAs are when used outside the body by the vulva, so your best bet is sticking with the 100ppm limit.
When looking up period products, reference tests run by external labs to ensure that the research was conducted correctly. Menstrual cups and discs are classified as low to no risk of PFAs by the FDA because they are made of medical grade silicon.
Accessibility
Menstrual cups and discs are often not accessible to people with disabilities because they have to be folded and wiggled around. The Hello Disc is probably the most accessible option on the market because it has a pull tab. There are some insertion tools for menstrual cups, however these are not necessarily the easiest to use.
The most accessible options are period panties or pads, although usability of anything will vary from person to person.
Sex on your Period
Menstrual cups create a seal inside the vagina that will prevent blood from reaching the vulva, so you can have oral sex with a cup in. Menstrual discs tuck behind the cervix, so you can have sex where a penis or fingers enter the vagina.
Frankly, just put a towel down on the bed during light flow and just have sex. If having sex with someone with a penis, then make sure you're using a condom. Blood washes out.
Douching
Don't ever douche. This is so horribly bad for you. Periods are a bit gross, but it's just a normal bodily function. There's no need to fight it. Don't put this shit anywhere near your body.

Double Isekai - Chapter 9
So here we are at the end of my backlog. It was nice to be able to post once a day and not have to stress over jumping straight back into it, but I knew that wasn't gonna finish LLW ch. 14 anywhere near the time my backlog was gone. It did, however, firm up my desire to actually get a backlog going and eliminate that stress-point from my life.
Summary:
Ranma gets the chance to talk to someone who isn't directly impacted by the isekai and knew her both before and after. She gets some advice that she probably should have received in her previous life.
Notes:
And here we have the first canonical events that are directly impacted by the new timeline.
Preview below the cut:
The visit to Dr. Tofu's clinic went about as well as they could have expected, given the man's general open-mindedness about things involving magic and spiritual. It helped that the man could read qi auras; he'd described what he saw with Ranma like blending flavors of ice cream, which both isekai'd individuals smiled at.
"I must say, as much trauma as I'm seeing in your auras, you're remarkably well adjusted even after...well, all this." The doctor gestured up and down at the pair of them, sitting side by side on his exam table.
"Thank you, Doctor," "Thanks, Doc," they said at the same time. Ranma rolled her eyes and Nodoka giggled.
"Fascinating," he murmured under his breath, "If it's alright with you two, I'd like to set up ongoing monitoring appointments. Even in your other world the concept of the 'isekai' was fictional, so there wouldn't be any medical knowledge for managing cases like yours. While it's unlikely that I'll ever get a chance to publish anything on the issue, it would be good to at least make sure everything is working out okay for you two long-term."
Nodoka smiled warmly at the man, If I swung that way...ah well, he'll make someone a good husband soon enough, I'm sure. "That sounds lovely, and I'd be interested in reading your findings and discussing your conclusions."
"If you're sure you can keep up..." he returned her smile.
Ranma snorted, "Doc, c'mon. We taught ourselves data analytics and auto repair. Might need a reference or five, but we aint slouches."
Like many aspects of the conversation so far, Tofu showed all the signs of being pleasantly surprised by the new fold in the origami puzzle that was his most complex patient. "Fascinating...was the intelligence always there but expressed in purely martial ways or was your previous incarnation for this universe a savant and this more broad-spectrum intelligence a new addition from the merging?"
Ranma shrugged, "Think it was prolly the first one. Pops did his level best t'beat anything that wasn't The Art outa me. Kinda made me stupid in all sorts of ways. Aint sayin' I know for sure, but I did teach myself the 'roasting chestnuts' thing using adaptive methods thanks to an artificially imposed temporary disability, an' that was a LONG time before the isekai."
The conversation lasted a bit longer, Doctor Tofu completing the same physical that he did for the Tendo girls and providing a referral for a gynecologist he'd already 'felt out' about the Jusenkyo issue with a promise to have another ready if they should prove less receptive than he'd expected.
"I'll see what I can do about a counselor or therapist as well," he said after Nodoka brought up the concern, "That will be...harder, most likely. Not only is that a bit outside my specialty, without the ability to see qi and already having a history with either of you like I did, any therapist is going to be inherently skeptical."
Nodoka nodded, "As can be expected, this is a highly unusual case, to say the least." She paused visibly, as though bracing herself for a challenge, "I...don't want you to do anything that might violate your ethical obligations or result in a loss of your license, but about Ranma's male form..."
Tofu leaned back, a clearly intelligent mind piecing together the request before she could even make it but allowing his patient to ask the question anyway. Such manners...maybe some Jusenkyo water? No, don't be silly. You're a horny old woman but that's no reason to go looking for people to make dysphoric. Out loud, she said, "Might it be possible to see about transitioning her other body?" she gestured to her daughter, who was clearly doing her best to not get her hopes up too much.
Tofu appeared to ponder the question, "I'll admit I don't believe anyone has asked for such a thing in the annals of Jusenkyo." He stood and walked over to the counter he'd placed Ranma's file on earlier and flipped it open, jotting a few notes down, "I've started a correspondence with Cologne's tribe as they're the nearest group of people to the springs and so have the most experience with them." He finished his note and closed the file, facing them directly, "Most 'curse victims' opt to simply have the curse locked."
Nodoka grimaced and Ranma squirmed. The younger isekai'd woman piped in, "I aint sure that's a good idea, doc. It's...well, it's like noise-cancelling headphones if I'm thinkin' correctly."
"'Noise-cancelling...'?" parroted the doctor.
Nodoka chuckled, "I believe they're working on industrial applications for the technology now and it won't be on the consumer market for a decade or two yet, but they use the principal of a cancelled waveform to block sound." She traced a sine wave in the air in front of her, "Sound is just pressure waves in the air, so one simply sets up a microphone to capture the sound, a computer processes the opposite waveform, then broadcasts that back in the direction of the audio source," she traced an opposite sine wave going the other direction, "And the two waveforms cancel each other out."
"Problem is, doc, it's technically just more sound, only ya can't hear it," added Ranma. "And dependin' on how loud the original sound is, yer slamming a LOT of dee-bees into your ears."
Tofu gave her a confused smile, "'dee-bees'?"
Ranma smirked, "Decibels, or dBs." Tofu nodded with a quiet 'ah!' as Ranma continued, holding up a hand and punching it lightly, "It's like yer hammerin' yer eardrums twice as hard but ya can't hear it." She dropped her hands into her lap, "Aint interested in getting' magical tinnitus or whatever it'd be called."
He chuckled at her metaphor, "That's not a bad comparison, though I'll want to confer with some experts to see if that's actually a concern. If it is, then we'll definitely want to look into alternatives. As for hormone replacement therapy," he sounded hesitant, and his next words made it clear why, "We'll need to try some things, and I'll need to confer with some colleagues with discrete inquiries. I'm not an endocrinologist and I'm not equipped to do the hormonal testing here, so we'll need to bring in some others to see what can be done." He adjusted his glasses thoughtfully, "This could be an interesting, if extremely niche article in a journal somewhere." He chuckled as he put a hand on his hip and scratched the back of his head, "I'll probably need to find a way to introduce the Amazon's magic and traditional medicine doctors to some open minded colleagues," he focused on Ranma, "Would you be willing to demonstrate your curse to a select few people? If your descriptions of dysphoria are anything to go by, it might be uncomfortable and I wouldn't want you to subject yourself to that..."
Ranma smirked, "I aint sayin' no, but I can talk to Shampoo t'see if she'd demonstrate first. I'm betting a girl turning into a cat'd be enough of a metaphorical gut-punch to convince just about anyone of how real magic is."
Tofu could only chuckle at this proposal, "Now, if you'll excuse us, Nodoka. We're at the part of the appointment where I talk to Ranma about things teenagers don't want their parents to hear about."

What are the Causes of Late Periods? A period is a natural part of a woman's life, and its arrival, or lack thereof, can be a source of curiosity or concern. While a late period might send your mind racing to pregnancy tests, there are numerous reasons why your period might be behind schedule. Let's discuss the world of menstrual cycles and explore the top causes of late periods.
Pregnancy: The Obvious One
We can't ignore the most common reason for a missed period – pregnancy. If you're sexually active and haven't used contraception, a late period could be the first sign of a bun in the oven. However, it's important to note that pregnancy tests might not be conclusive in the very early stages. For accurate results, wait at least a week after a missed period before taking a test. You can also visit or take an online consultation with our specialist doctor Geetanjali Thakur , the best Gynecologist in Karnal.

Hormonal Harmony: When Things Get Out of Sync
Our bodies are like intricate orchestras, and hormones play the lead role in regulating our menstrual cycles. When these hormones get out of sync, it can lead to a late period or even missed periods altogether. Here are some common hormonal culprits:
●     Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): PCOS is a hormonal imbalance that affects ovulation, leading to irregular periods or their absence.
●     Thyroid Issues: An overactive or underactive thyroid can disrupt hormone production, impacting your cycle.
●     Birth Control: Starting, stopping, or switching birth control methods can disrupt your cycle for a few months as your body adjusts to the hormonal changes.
●     Perimenopause: As you approach menopause, your estrogen levels naturally decline, leading to irregular periods or their absence.
Lifestyle Choices: Big Impact on Small Cycles

Understanding Urinary Tract Infections: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatment
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most common bacterial infections, affecting millions of individuals worldwide each year. While they can occur at any age, women are more susceptible to UTIs than men, with approximately one in two women experiencing a UTI in their lifetime. From the discomfort they cause to potential complications if left untreated, UTIs warrant attention and understanding. Let's explore the causes, symptoms, risk factors, and treatment options for urinary tract infections. Book Consultation With Doctors Online Near You to take expert advice.
Causes of Urinary Tract Infections:
UTIs typically occur when bacteria enter the urinary tract and multiply, leading to infection. The most common bacteria responsible for UTIs is Escherichia coli (E. coli), which is normally found in the gastrointestinal tract but can migrate to the urinary tract through the urethra. Other bacteria, such as Klebsiella and Proteus species, can also cause UTIs, albeit less frequently. Factors that contribute to the development of UTIs include:
Urinary Tract Anatomy: Women have a shorter urethra than men, making it easier for bacteria to reach the bladder and cause infection.
Sexual Activity: Sexual intercourse can introduce bacteria into the urinary tract, increasing the risk of UTIs in sexually active individuals.
Urinary Catheterization: The use of urinary catheters, particularly over an extended period, can facilitate bacterial entry into the urinary tract and lead to infection.
Blockages or Obstructions: Conditions such as kidney stones, enlarged prostate in men, or anatomical abnormalities can obstruct urine flow, allowing bacteria to proliferate and cause UTIs.
Weakened Immune System: Individuals with compromised immune systems due to conditions such as diabetes, HIV/AIDS, or immunosuppressive medications are at increased risk of UTIs.
Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infections:
The symptoms of a UTI can vary depending on the part of the urinary tract affected and the severity of the infection. Common signs and symptoms include:
Frequent Urination: An increased urge to urinate, often accompanied by a small amount of urine.
Pain or Burning Sensation: Discomfort or burning sensation during urination, which may indicate inflammation of the urinary tract.
Cloudy or Foul-Smelling Urine: Changes in the appearance or odor of urine, such as cloudiness or a strong, unpleasant smell.
Pelvic Pain: Pain or pressure in the lower abdomen or pelvic region.
Hematuria: Blood in the urine, which may appear pink, red, or brownish in color.
Fever and Chills: In more severe cases, UTIs can cause fever, chills, and general malaise.
Diagnosis and Treatment:
Diagnosing a UTI typically involves a combination of medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests. Urinalysis, which involves analyzing a urine sample for the presence of bacteria, white blood cells, and other indicators of infection, is often the first step in diagnosis. In some cases, urine culture may be performed to identify the specific bacteria causing the infection and determine the most appropriate antibiotic treatment. Consult best gynecologist in delhi.
Treatment for UTIs usually involves a course of antibiotics to eliminate the bacterial infection. The choice of antibiotic and duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of the infection, the type of bacteria involved, and individual factors such as allergies and previous antibiotic use. In addition to antibiotics, symptomatic relief measures such as pain relievers and increased fluid intake may help alleviate discomfort and promote recovery.
Prevention Strategies:
While UTIs can be recurrent and challenging to prevent entirely, several strategies may help reduce the risk of infection:
Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of water helps flush bacteria out of the urinary tract and dilute urine, reducing the risk of infection.
Practice Good Hygiene: Wiping from front to back after urination and bowel movements helps prevent the spread of bacteria from the anus to the urethra.
Urinate After Sex: Emptying the bladder shortly after sexual activity can help flush out bacteria introduced during intercourse.
Avoid Irritants: Limiting the consumption of bladder irritants such as caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods may help reduce the risk of UTIs.
Prompt Treatment of Underlying Conditions: Treating conditions such as diabetes, urinary incontinence, and anatomical abnormalities promptly can help minimize the risk of UTIs.
Conclusion:
Urinary tract infections are a common and often uncomfortable condition that can affect individuals of all ages and backgrounds. While they can be disruptive and occasionally lead to complications if left untreated, UTIs are generally straightforward to diagnose and treat with appropriate medical care.
By understanding the causes, symptoms, and prevention strategies for UTIs, individuals can take proactive steps to reduce their risk and maintain urinary tract health. Prompt recognition and treatment of UTIs are key to minimizing discomfort, preventing complications, and promoting overall well-being.

How to smell good down there? Please let us know every possible way 😭
Let your pussy be a fucking pussy. Pussy will always smell like pussy. Not like roses, sweetness, honey, flowers. Like pussy. And the quicker you understand that, the better your pussy's health will be. That's the best and only tip I will give you.
It doesn't need products, soap, sprays, perfumes or powders to smell "good". It needs to be left alone and to be able to function how she is supposed to function. A few tips I can give you which will not harm your pussy:
Wash only with water (in theory you wouldn't even have to do that because the pussy is a self-cleaning organ, but if it makes you feel more comfortable to "wash away the day" do it ONLY WITH WATER)
Also obviously only wash the outside of your pussy. You do not have to go inside. Just gently cleaning off the outside is enough.
Make sure that when you wipe, you wipe from front to back. This also goes for washing your pussy. Wipe from front to back.
Wear cotton or linen panties and stay away from synthetic fabrics.
If you feel comfortable doing it, sleep without panties to let her breathe for a little.
Discharge is normal and healthy. It means your pussy is cleaning herself and doing what she is supposed to do.
If your pussy actually starts to stink (and trust me you will know when she does, you will not miss it) go to a gynecologist to make sure that you don't have any sort of infection. Your pussy only really stinks if she's sick, otherwise the way she smells is normal.
I also want to mention that semen has a different ph-level than pussy, which means that if someone climaxes inside you without a condom (yk creampies) there is a possibility that their semen’s ph-level will throw off your pussy’s. That can also result in a changed smell. But again, it will not STINK, it will simply smell different. If it does stink unbearably, go to a doctor to check it out.
Also if someone tells you that your pussy stinks, you are very welcome to tell them to fuck off and grow up because a pussy will not smell like flowers and sweets. If your long-term partner, who knows your normal smell, is telling you that "your pussy smells weird all of a sudden" maybe go to a doctor in case you caught something. Otherwise, everyone who tells you that a pussy should smell sweet and dreamy, needs to grow up and not be let anywhere near one until they learned actual biology.
Also yes I gave the pussy a gender hahaha it happens naturally fajdfja pussy will always have she/her pronouns to me even if I know it’s actually an it hahhaha

Out of Time - Prologue.

Out of Time Masterlist / Next Part: One Year
⚠️ TW: Mentions of Cancer ⚠️
word count: 1.7k words
••••••••••••••
Prologue
evelyn’s pov.
I walked around the store in search of my favorite comfort candy. I smiled as I saw the different assortments of chocolate in front of me. Picking up some Kit Kats and Lindor White Chocolate, I felt a rush of serotonin come over me. I was in need of a pick me up and these chocolates would do just the trick.
I had gotten back from the doctor's office about an hour ago. Sitting in my car, I let the new found information my doctor told me sink in while tears rolled down my face. I had hoped that all the chemotherapy and medicines they were providing me with would change my results and change them for good. I was wrong.
My journey with stage three breast cancer began three years ago. I noticed a strange discoloration on my breast. I asked my mum about it and she told me that I needed to see a gynecologist. At first I thought she was being overly dramatic like she always was, but once I googled my symptoms—like any other 22 year old would do—I began to understand her concern.
Later that week, I had my first gynecologist visit. My gynecologist was very sweet. I expressed to her that I was a bit nervous since I'd never been to a gynecologist before. She told me it was normal to be nervous and that she would try her best not to make it awkward for either of us. She placed her gloves on and began to work.
At the end of the appointment, she told me she felt some lumps in my breast. The lumps in my breast plus the discoloration led her to believe that I may have breast cancer.
I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I didn't hear anything she said after that. All I remember was hearing her say to come back on another day for screening to confirm whether I had cancer.
After two years had gone by of chemotherapy, shaving my head, losing weight, and surgery, the doctors had finally given me the best news I had ever heard since the Jonas Brothers getting back together. I was finally free of cancer, but only for a year.
Now it's back and has metastasized into the early stages of stage four breast cancer. The doctor told me there was still a chance for me to be saved; however, it was a small percentage, so I shouldn't get my hopes up.
As I placed the chocolates in my basket, I noticed a man staring at me. When we made eye contact, he quickly averted his eyes, pretending to be looking for some treats himself. I brushed off the weird feeling he gave me and decided to walk to the check out.
I patiently waited as the person in front of me took their sweet time to get their items checked out.
I placed my items on the conveyor belt and waited for the cashier to scan them. I smiled lightly and whispered 'hello' as the cashier began to scan my items. She gave me a small smile in return.
"Your total is $7.85." I nodded before handing her a ten dollar bill.
"Thank you." she said softly. As she turned to the register to look for my change, another eerie feeling came over me. Looking past the cashier, I saw the same man from the candy aisle staring me down.
As soon as our eyes met once again, he looked away, busying himself with a random pamphlet near the exit. I had half a mind to walk up to him and ask him if he needed something, but I decided against it knowing that I would be too weak to defend myself if anything were to happen.
"$2.15 is your change, and enjoy the rest of your day!" I thanked her for my change and placed it in my wallet. I grabbed my items and glanced at the exit. The man was no longer standing there.
I quickly rushed out the door. The once blue sky had already began to turn dark. I silently scolded myself for parking so far away from the store entrance. The eerie feeling came over me once again and I felt my heart rate pick up. I walked in the direction I thought I had parked my car, but began to panic once I couldn't see my car.
Suddenly, an arm wrapped around my shoulders. I released a small gasp as my head turned in the intruder's direction. To my relief, it wasn't the strange man from the convenient store.
"Hey baby." he said loudly. I winced at how loud and close he was.
"I'm sorry. You must have me confused for somebody else." I said back, getting ready to remove myself from his embrace, but he was quick to react and tighten his grip around me.
He leaned down to my ear and whispered, "There's a strange man following you. Just go with it 'till you find your car, okay?"
His emerald eyes held sincerity that made me think he genuinely cared about me getting to my car safely. I nodded and offered him a small smile.
"Do you know where you parked, love?" he asked as we stopped walking. I paused and looked around the lot, no sign of my car in sight. I shook my head.
"Here. Push the panic button so we can find it." He gently grabbed the keys from my hand and pressed PANIC. We followed the sound of my car alarm, two rows over and a bit further down.
From my peripheral vision, I saw the man look behind us before he removed his arm from my shoulders.
"Thank you." I say as I unlock my car. I truly owe my life to him. Had this man not come up and pretend to be someone I know, I would've been a goner.
"Don't mention it." he says, a small grin plastered onto his face.
"I mean it. I owe you big time. I haven't the slightest clue who that man is and he had been following me around the store and now to my car...Really, thank you."
He shakes his head sheepishly.
"I'm Harry, by the way." he says, effectively changing the subject.
"Nice to meet you, Harry. I'm Evelyn." I reply, sticking my hand out. Harry's eyes go back and forth from my hand to my face.
He lets out a small chuckle before placing his hand in mine and shaking it.
I am the first to let go of the embrace, feeling my cheeks getting hot. Having his hand in mine released butterflies in my stomach.
Now that the chaos was put behind us, I was finally able to get a good look at Harry. He is a very attractive man.
He has beautiful, chestnut curls that are pushed back out of his face; a single curl had fallen in his face.
Vibrant green eyes that are absolutely breathtaking and pink heart-shaped lips. He was also very tall and had a British accent.
Everything about him was stunning including his casual attire, while I looked a righteous mess with my beanie to hide my head from the cold along with light makeup that was probably washed off from tears.
We stood there for a second taking in each other's features. As I was getting ready to leave the semi-awkward silence, Harry breaks it.
"So how do you intend to repay me?" he asks.
I ponder not really knowing how to respond. There was a suggestive look in his eye and that's what snapped me back to reality and realize he was just like any other man in the world. Only one thought in their mind: sex.
"If you're implying that I should have sex with you, that's not going to happen." I huffed, moving towards my car door. I open the door and got inside, placing my chocolates in my passenger seat.
"What? No, no. You've got it all wrong." Harry takes slow, cautious steps towards me.
"Then what is it that you want?" I query.
"I want you to let me take you out for dinner some time." he says with a soft smile.
"Oh..." is all I can manage to say.
"It doesn't have to be anything romantic, unless you want it to be. It can just be a dinner to commemorate the possible start of a beautiful friendship." Harry tucks his hands into his jean pockets as he awaits my answer.
I feel so stupid and embarrassed now. I struggle to hold eye contact with him.
"Okay, sure." I say sheepishly.
"Okay, great. Let's exchange numbers and we can figure out a time that works best for the both of us." he says. His soft smile from before has spread into a wide grin.
I nod my head while handing him my phone, avoiding his gaze. I patiently wait as Harry puts his number into my phone before he hands me his so I can do the same.
"Wonderful. I'll give you a call sometime." I nod again, still refusing to make eye contact with him.
Suddenly, I feel his thumb and forefinger gently move my chin up so I am forced to meet his intense gaze.
"Don't worry about it. I know where you were coming from. Most men typically do only have one thing on their mind," he pauses, his gaze shifting to my lips before he continues, "but I'm hoping over time you'll learn I'm not like most men."
And with that he lets go of my chin and walks away with a smirk on his face while I am rendered speechless. My cheeks were on fire like never before.
"Wow." I mutter, closing my car door and starting the engine. I put the car temperature on cold to cool me down.
As I get ready to take off, my phone chimes. I peer over to see one new text message from Harry.
Harry Styles (IOU): I hope to see you again soon, Evelyn. Stay safe.

So at my last doctor’s appointment, the doc was like “please have a period at some point soon. Please have two periods a year for your bone health”
And I’m really not into that, because a) my periods have been getting more and more painful and crampy and the latest one I was IN BED FOR TWO FUCKING DAYS because I was so miserable and hurting and sick, and b) whatever hormonal shifts happen when I’m getting a period make me at best very depressed, and at worst actively suicidal, so like idk, I feel like that also has to do with my bone health at some point
And furthermore, like with the cholesterol bullshit, you don’t actually seem to understand that there are many other ways I accidentally promote my bone health through other activities, like as a side effect of weightlifting, yoga, and even taking mg dumb little pokewalks, or as a side effect from taking 500 mg of calcium and 500 mg of magnesium every single night to help me sleep better (and let’s not forget the calcium present even in small amounts in ice cream, cheese, and almond milk)
So given that this doctor seems stubborn, and very inclined to talk down to me, AND I’d like to say “fuck you I have a research degree too”, I’ve also spent maybe an hour poking around the internet for well-informed popular articles and scientific articles about bone density and continuous oral contraceptive use, and. Well. Guess the fuck what
Continuous oral contraceptive use only affects bone mineralization in adolescents
When it’s tested in adults, it doesn’t seem to have an effect. The differences in bone density levels are evidently minuscule. (And I’m 32, where I’m basically at the point where my bones are at peak density (approx. age 28-35)—no longer mineralizing and improving, and not yet decreasing in density.)
Tumblr media
Every gynecological website (important, because she’s a GP, not a GYN) I’ve found has said “no, you do not actually have to have a period for any kind of health reason when taking birth control continuously”, which matches what two gynecologists in two very different practicing conditions have told me. (It’s because it virtually stops the endometrium from growing, which is why it also helps people with endometriosis.)
AND FURTHERMORE, we actually don’t know anything about how dense (or not) my bones are. I’ve never broken a bone. The amount of calcium in my bloodstream in the labs is within the normal range (which, what does that mean? No fucking idea).
Tumblr media
So anyway, all this to say that no, I won’t be having any periods in the near future unless there are more fuckups with my prescription. You don’t have enough information—and haven’t requested more information—for me to trust you.
Also I think I need to find a new doctor so that I can actually trust them

Laparoscopic Gynecology in Dubai
Overview
Overview In gynecologic laparoscopy, a gynecologist uses a small cut near the umbilicus to inflate your abdomen with CO2 and pass a surgical telescope with a camera through to examine your pelvic organs.
Due to the small incision that is made in your abdomen, this procedure is referred to as "keyhole surgery." The gynecologist is able to perform Laparoscopic surgeries without having to make large incisions because the cut is typically only about one centimeter long.
Tumblr media
What conditions can be treated with gynecologic laparoscopy?
Multiple conditions can be diagnosed and treated with gynecological laparoscopy. including: Endometriosis Fibroids, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, pelvic issues (urinary incontinence, uterine prolapse, etc.), and so on. It may also be done in conjunction with other procedures, like a hysterectomy, to get better results after the surgery.
How should you get ready for a gynecologic laparoscopy? Your doctor will check your health before the surgery and go over the procedure in detail.
The steps you need to take before the surgery are as follows:
Stop eating and drinking six to twelve hours before the surgery. Avoid taking blood thinners (such as aspirin, warfarin, etc.) a few days before your appointment. Stop smoking a few days before the operation. It's best to arrange for someone to drive you to the hospital and pick you up later that day.
What can we anticipate from the surgery? A general anesthetic is typically used for gynecological laparoscopy, so you won't feel anything.
In order to insert the surgical instruments into your body and carry out the procedure, the gynecologist will make a 1 to 1.5 cm incision in your abdomen.
In order to properly treat your organs and allow him to see them clearly, he will first insert a fine tube into your belly to inflate it with carbon dioxide. After that, he inserts a laparoscope that has a camera that is connected to a television screen in front of him, making it easier for him to watch and do the surgery.
In the event that the surgeon needs to remove some organs, he may make additional incisions to guide the instruments through the laparoscope and into the surgical site.
The gynecologist will then close the small cuts with medical stitches or clips and ensure that the CO2 is released from your abdomen.
The gynecologic Laparoscopic surgeries Dubai will take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to perform a diagnosis. It might take longer depending on the situation if it was done to treat a specific condition.

Preparing for Parenthood: The Ultimate Checklist for New Moms
Tumblr media
1. Introduction
Becoming a mom is one of the most exciting and rewarding journeys of life. However, it can also come with its challenges, especially as you prepare for the arrival of your little one. Being well-prepared can make the transition into motherhood much smoother and less stressful. To help you feel more confident and ready, we’ve put together a comprehensive checklist that covers all the essentials you’ll need to take care of both baby and yourself.
Whether it’s setting up the nursery or budgeting for baby care, this guide will support you every step of the way. If you’re looking for best gynecology in Andheri, or a best maternity doctor in Andheri, it’s important to consult with a trusted expert to ensure both you and your baby’s health are well-cared for.
2. Setting Up for Baby’s Arrival
Baby Essentials:
Your baby’s first few weeks will require some key items. Begin by stocking up on diapers, wipes, clothing, and swaddles. These are the basics for keeping your baby comfortable and clean. Don’t forget a crib or bassinet for safe sleep, along with a stroller and car seat for easy transportation.
Feeding Supplies:
Whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle-feed, make sure you have the necessary equipment. For breastfeeding, you’ll need breast pads, a breast pump, and nursing pillows. If you’re bottle-feeding, stock up on bottles, nipples, and a sterilizer to keep everything clean.
Nursery Setup:
Create a peaceful space for your baby to sleep and play. Organize the nursery with storage solutions, a baby monitor for safety, and baby-proofing essentials like outlet covers and corner protectors.
Health and Hygiene:
Prepare for baby’s health needs by getting a baby thermometer, first aid kit, and grooming items like baby nail clippers and a hairbrush. Regular health checks are important, so these items will come in handy. If you’re seeking trusted women care hospitals in Andheri, it’s a good idea to find one that offers a comprehensive range of services, including newborn care.
3. Self-Care and Mental Preparation for Moms
Mental Health:
Preparing mentally for parenthood is just as important as preparing physically. The emotional changes that come with having a baby can be overwhelming, so make sure you’re mentally ready. Counseling or parenting classes can help you navigate these changes and provide you with tools to manage stress. Consulting with a gynecologist in Mumbai can also guide you on mental and physical health during pregnancy and after birth.
Physical Health:
Postpartum recovery varies for every mom, so understanding the process and knowing what to expect will help. Make arrangements for help with chores and ask your partner to support you. Don’t forget about your physical recovery—take time to rest and ask for help when needed. It’s essential to visit the best gynae in Mumbai for any post-birth checkups to ensure a smooth recovery.
Building a Support System:
It’s essential to have a reliable support system. This could include a trusted friend or family member to call when you need assistance. Have an open conversation with your partner about expectations and how to share responsibilities.
4. Financial Planning for Parenthood
Budgeting for Baby:
The cost of raising a baby can add up quickly. Start by estimating the cost of baby care essentials, including diapers, clothes, and healthcare expenses. You should also prepare for maternity/paternity leave and factor in any extra costs.
Insurance and Benefits:
Make sure your health insurance covers the newborn, and review any benefits your employer offers. It’s also a good idea to update your life insurance policy to ensure your family is financially protected. If you’re expecting and planning to deliver in the women care hospital near you, make sure it is covered under your insurance for a hassle-free experience.
5. Packing Your Hospital Bag
When it’s time to head to the hospital, make sure you’re ready. Pack comfortable clothes for yourself, toiletries, and snacks for energy. For your baby, pack a few outfits, diapers, and the car seat for the ride home. Don’t forget any special items like your birth plan, phone charger, and entertainment to keep you occupied during wait times. Choosing a top gynecologist in Mumbai to guide you through the delivery process is also key to ensuring a safe and supportive experience.
6. Preparing for Life After Baby
Establishing a Routine:
Once your baby arrives, life will be full of new routines. Discuss a flexible schedule with your partner for baby care and household tasks. You’ll also need to plan your meals and grocery shopping ahead of time.
Baby’s First Few Weeks:
During the first few weeks, adjusting to sleep patterns and learning the basics of baby care will be your top priorities. Be sure to schedule checkups for both mom and baby with a women care clinic that can address both your and your baby’s needs, offering peace of mind during those early days.
7. Conclusion
Following this checklist will help you feel more prepared for Parenthood, but remember to stay flexible as life with a newborn can be unpredictable. Don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed, and make sure to prioritize self-care. It’s okay to take things one step at a time and lean on your Women Care Clinic for support.
