Okay, I always thought the final ending of all the episodes of Attack On Titan was seeing everyone follow Eren, trying to stop The Rumbling. I thought it was metaphorical for the endless fighting and killing man-kind will forever participate in. Although I do believe that is still the ending's general vibe. I never thought I'd see everybody else still alive and Eren dead. And I CERTAINLY never thought Eren could remove all traces of eldian power and Titans without killing anyone.

What a powerful ending, my heart is broken in all the best ways...
