Tumblr media
Keeping your home devices and personal items clean has become critical in today’s time when there is an increasing risk of viral and bacterial infections. UV sanitisation has changed the way we keep our devices clean. With the use of ultraviolet (UV-C) light, one can eliminate harmful microorganisms from their devices without using any chemicals. UV-C light directly targets the DNA of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, leaving them inactive. This method is usually used in hospital operating and cleaning rooms to maintain a sterile environment.
Using a UV sanitiser machine for home devices helps to maintain proper hygiene while extending the lifespan of devices. The best part is that there is no need to use any harmful chemicals that could damage the surface of various devices.

INNOVATIVE SOFT, SILICONE FRAME
One of DreamWear's most exciting innovations is the soft frame that directs airflow through two silicone tubes to join at the full face cushion. Because the frame is soft it adapts naturally to facial contours without pinching or pressure points; and it will accommodate almost any sleeping position.
If you sleep on your back DreamWear distributes therapy air through both tubes equally. If you shift onto your side DreamWear's lower tube compresses to maintain a comfortable seal without pressing into the skin; therapy air is channelled into the open, upper tube maintaining an unrestricted airflow at prescribed therapy levels. Optional soft fabric wraps can be wrapped around the tubing for extra plushness!
UNDER-THE-NOSE FULL FACE CUSHION
The DreamWear system's full face cushion rests under the nose, providing airflow to both the mouth and nostrils without actually inserting into the nose or exerting any excess pressure. Because of the cushion's low profile design there is absolutely no contact on the top of the nose or at the sensitive nasal bridge. Exhalation ports on the cushion, and in the system's elbow, quietly disperse excess air.
SIMPLE, SECURE HEADGEAR & TUBING ATTACHMENT
DreamWear features soft, single strap headgear that rests at the back of the head, stabilizing the system without requiring over-tightening or excessive contact. The tubing elbow is located on the top of the head where it can swivel freely to help reduce drag and clutter on the bed sheets.
LIGHTWEIGHT, MINIMAL CONTACT & AN OPEN FIELD OF VIEW
With its combination of a low profile cushion, a soft tubing frame, and single strap headgear the Dreamwear is one of the most minimal systems available for Sleep Apnea therapy. It provides the user with an open field of view for reading, talking or watching TV before bed.
MULTIPLE CUSHION & FRAME SIZES AVAILABLE
DreamWear's frame is available in three sizes -- Small, Medium & Large. Most users will find the medium frame to be the best fit; and system packs are available with Small and Medium frames.
DreamWear full face cushions are available in four sizes -- Small, Medium, MediumWide & Large -- to fit a wide range of noses. If you're unsure of which size to choose, download the sizing guide available elsewhere on this page to determine your best fit; or purchase a FitPack available elsewhere on this site. All DreamWear parts are interchangeable so any cushion will work with any frame size.
COMPATIBLE WITH DREAMWEAR GEL PILLOWS & NASAL CUSHIONS TOO!
This DreamWear system is also compatible with DreamWear Nasal Cushions and DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillows, so if you want to sleep with a full face system one night and a nasal or pillow the next night it's easy!  Order now

How to Choose CPAP cleaning machine
Things to Consider When Buying a CPAP Cleaner
Here's a series of questions to ask before buying a CPAP cleaner so that you're delighted with your purchase.
1: Will the CPAP sanitizing device deal with my CPAP model?
There are lots of various CPAP models out there. Prior to you start examining a particular CPAP cleaner, you'll need to confirm that it's compatible with your CPAP machine.
2: How reliable is the CPAP sanitizer?
Among the main benefits of a CPAP cleaner and sanitizer is that it's a lot easier to successfully get rid of bacteria than if you were to utilize soap and water or CPAP wipes. If you discover yourself getting ill more than typical since beginning CPAP treatment, the ease and effectiveness of a CPAP sanitizer is specifically essential.
3: Will the CPAP cleaning machine disinfect all of my CPAP devices?
Germs can accumulate in any of your CPAP devices. The ideal CPAP sanitizing device will clean up not only your mask, but the rest of your CPAP machine.
Sleep8 CPAP Cleaner utilizes a safe, activated-oxygen to sanitize all of your CPAP devices: mask, hose pipe and reservoir. For that reason, every nook and cranny is completely cleaned. The very best part is that you don't even need to disassemble any of it.

Quarantine, Day 38
Today's plan was to stay home all day, make some ham salad, fuck around with the sewing machine, and generally just avoid the outside. It was a fine plan. And then I didn't!
I did make the ham salad and fuck around with the sewing machine, to be fair. It was a very good ham salad, too! I don't get too fussy with it, I tossed a big chunk of ham in the food processor, some mayonnaise, some sweet pickle relish, and some brown sugar. Spin it all until it is just this side of paste, then serve it on bread every lunch time for the next week. Yum! My husband won't touch it, but the kiddo has become fond. Which is good, because he is a human vacuum cleaner and we are already going through potato chips at an astonishing rate. I also made whipped coffee again and discovered that it will still whip up into foam with three tablespoons of sugar to two tablespoons of coffee, and it will taste _way_ better. It will get me through until the coffeeshop is an option again. That was nice because I forgot to load water into my CPAP machine last night, so it blew cold, dry air down my throat all night and I woke up feeling pretty shitty. Lesson learned, ugh.
A few days ago I signed up with a local charity group that has formed up to connect high risk people to people who can do errands for them, plus gather and distribute essentials to people in need. They texted me this morning and asked if I could deliver care packages, and I said I could, but only north of the bridge-tunnel. They gave me three places in Newport News, but because the pickup was in Norfolk, I ended up going down there anyway. Oh well. Had to get gas for the first time in weeks! But I got all those boxes dropped off, diapers and paper towels, disinfectant spray, food, coloring books. Very useful stuff! It is still weird driving around in Newport News because I still get completely lost without the GPS, but enough places are familiar enough that I sort of feel like I should know where I am, I just don't. Oh, and the folks coordinating the dropoffs gave me a cloth mask! It has baby elephants on it. <3
I got home in the mid-afternoon and got a personal video tutorial from my best friend from college, who is quarantining in DC with her husband. He videoed while she showed me how to use a sewing machine on her machine, very kindly going over all the very basic things like "put the cloth under the foot, not next to the foot" and "sew forward and then backward, then forward again to begin and end your seams." It was super helpful! Man, I wish I could go visit them, and my family, and my in-laws, and so many other people. But since I can't, thank god for video chat, glitchy and insecure as it may be.
I was going to try my hand at actually doing a mask, but during supper (husband made amazing penne with leftover ham and white wine) I got a Red Cross call. They needed a card runner all the way down to Portsmouth, and nobody south of the bridge-tunnel could do it. So I suited up and headed out to do that. The bridge-tunnels are so much easier to navigate when nobody is going anywhere! I found out that my partner for the call, the one doing the virtual interviewing, was in VA but nearly all the way to Kentucky. Where the fuck were all the Norfolk/VA Beach DATs tonight? Who can say? The average age for Red Cross volunteers is something like 55, so we've got lots of people on the bench right now. The trip ended up being almost two hours to drop a card on somebody's windshield, but it means they got the money they needed tonight instead of tomorrow, so that's worth it. Got home just in time for the kiddo's bedtime, too.
With the child in bed and unhindered by marg-o-clock, I was finally free to tackle the sewing machine. I did it up proper, watched the YouTube mask tutorial and got out my iron and everything. And it worked! It's not exactly gorgeous, both in construction and because I used scrap fabric instead of anything pretty for my practice run. But it worked! I made a mask, and it fits! I'm very proud.
I did get to talk to most of my family on the phone this evening. I have been conditioned to call my mom during car trips so she can entertain me and keep me awake. This time I got both my folks, my sister, and her fiance all together on the speaker. They are quarantining together because both their work has gone all-digital and this way they can do all the running around for my folks and other older relatives in my hometown. And because my folks' house is much bigger and has way better internet than either of their apartments. It really does work out all around! They were having Mexican takeout tonight, supporting their favorite local restaurant, so I told them about my margarita that still stubbornly refuses to freeze. They were impressed.
Well, that's about everything, except that it is now after midnight, so it is officially April 19 and I am now 38 years old. I'll probably wax poetic about that later, but until then, I leave you with this birthday quarantine mood:
