How to plan a budget-friendly vacation
"# Plan a Budget-Friendly Vacation
Vacations are a great way to relax, unwind and get away from the stresses of everyday life. But vacations can also be expensive, and it’s important to plan ahead to ensure that you can get the most out of your trip while staying within your budget. Here are some tips to help you plan a budget-friendly vacation that won’t break the bank.
Research Deals and Travel Packages
The first step to planning a budget-friendly vacation is to do your research. There are a lot of deals and travel packages that you can take advantage of to save money. Check online for discounts and deals, or call your local travel agent to get the best prices on flights, hotels, rental cars, and more.
Set a Realistic Budget
Once you’ve done your research, it’s time to set a budget. You should consider how much money you’re willing to spend on flights, hotels, food, activities, and more. Be realistic about what you can afford and stick to your budget so you don’t overspend.
Choose an Affordable Destination
When it comes to choosing a destination for your vacation, it’s important to find a place that’s within your budget. Consider places that don’t require lots of travel costs or expensive accommodations. You can also look for places that offer activities and attractions that are free or low cost.
Find Cheap Accommodations
Accommodations can be one of the biggest expenses on a vacation. To save money, consider staying in hostels, dorm rooms, or rental apartments rather than hotels. You can also try to find deals on hotel rooms or last-minute discounts.
Look for Free Activities
There are lots of activities that you can do on vacation that won’t cost you a lot of money. Look for free activities such as walking tours, outdoor concerts, parks, and more. You can also take advantage of discounts and deals on activities such as museums, attractions, and other tourist sites.
Try Local Cuisine
Eating out can be expensive, so it’s important to look for ways to save money on meals while on vacation. Try local restaurants and markets where you can get delicious and affordable food. You can also look for coupon deals or discounts at restaurants.
Avoid Overpacking
The cost of checked baggage fees can add up quickly, so it’s important to pack light and only bring what you need. Try to pack clothes that are versatile and can be used for different occasions. This will help you avoid having to buy new clothes while on vacation.
Vacations can be a great way to relax and escape from everyday life, but it’s important to plan ahead and be smart about your budget. Doing your research, setting a realistic budget, finding affordable accommodations and activities, and packing light are all great ways to save money while still having a great time on vacation."
Summary
Planning a vacation can be done on a budget by researching the best deals on flights and accommodations, creating a budget and sticking to it, and making smart choices when it comes to food and activities.

Tourist Destinations Of The Outer Planes
Mechanus: How dare you suggest there would be anything novel or unique in Mechanus?! To cog jail with you!
Arcadia: Like those normal towns with "world best fish and chips" except they're scrupulously fact checked. "Home of Arcadia's 3826th best B&B according to multiple double-blind studies (citations available on request)"
Mount Celestia: Pure and ineffable spiritual bliss in the face of the divine and, after that, a pretty decent pizza shop where you can get a t-shirt with your face when you learnt the true name of God.
Bytopia: Bytopia is the embodiment of the concept of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" and also the domain of the gnome deities, so if you've ever wanted to see the Great Wheel's only 24/7 prank youtuber live show where all the pranks revolve around how millennials need to spend less on avocado toast, you're in luck! If not, may I recommend the abyssal layer where snakes drink your eyes as a pleasant reprieve?
Elysium: Just a rabbit sat on a rock but because you're in Elysuim it's the best thing you've ever seen. You autodelete all memories of your wedding and children's birth and suchlike for being shit in comparison.
The Beastlands: Who's the best dog in the world? Who is it? This isn't a rhetorical question, there's an objective answer. You can see him for the low price of four acorns and a fancy rock.
Arborea: Don't be fooled by the signs! The natives of Arborea spend their time playing and dancing so they have things like open plan offices and tax return help-desks as vacation spots. Instead ask where the boring parts of Arborea are to be given directions to the firework waterslide music concert video game dance party.
Ysgard: Monuments to epic deeds literally everywhere. So many monuments they start sounding sarcastic. If you successfully get to your hotel room they erect a 15ft statue commemorating it.
Limbo: "Look, you had to be there. Literally, what I saw existed beyond the capacity of human words to describe and I weep tadpoles when I try to recall it in any detail"
Pandemonium: Great acoustic guitar scene. Well, we assume they're good. If nothing else, you have to admire their perseverance.
The Abyss: Go on Demogorgan's tour of all infinity layers! The most fucked up shit you've ever seen or your spinal column back guaranteed!
Carceri: Be in the audience at History's Greatest Monster, where the most evil people in history compete for the crown! If you're lucky, you might get an autograph before they're hurled back into their eternal prisons once more!
Hades: Fuck you.
Gehenna: Tourist traps, in the sense of big holes you fall in and have to give a deamon all your money before it will let you out.
The Nine Hells: The Nine Hells are a wonderful place to visit, with a wide varieties of eateries, vistas and attractions that you should visit before you die! I am not writing this under duress and you should not send help to
Acheron: One extremely dangerous theme park. It's cheap and there are few queues but be aware that sometimes the god of orcs will show up and use whatever ride you're on as a bludgeoning weapon. Overall nice atmosphere, 4 stars.
The Outlands: Alas, I'm pretty sure there's absolutely nowhere worth visiting in the outlands. Sorry guys.

So @skellydun is back and doing let’s plays on youtube now--if you like low res horror w/ funny charismatic hosts definitely check him out, he’s really good--and his latest video brought back a memory that I haven’t really thought about for a very long time, and thought I might as well share with the internet.
So growing up we couldn’t afford full destination vacations. Mostly when my dad had time off, we’d stay at home, play games, maybe do a few things nearby or find something cool and semi-touristy we could do in a day trip. But my mom has always had a deep and abiding love for the beach, which was just far enough to make day trips a pain. So what we ended up doing a handful of times in my tween years was go, stay for a couple of nights, be very frugal while we were there, and go home.
But as I said, we couldn’t afford much. And by couldn’t afford much, I mean the decent hotels around our usual beach were by far out of our reach. What we could afford was a couple of nights at a cheap motel. Back then (I’m talking late 90′s) it was still a pretty family-friendly area, even still, but...yeah. There were some that my mom took one look at (or one smell) and walked right back to the car. (Fun fact: one of the ones that actually met our low bar made the news a couple of decades later for an outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease!)
If you’ve never stayed at a run down motel, I actually recommend trying it at least once. Not alone. Especially not alone if you’re a woman. But it’s an odd, liminal experience that I don’t know if I’ve had anywhere else. You can’t sleep. You won’t. (If you do, it’s not that run down.) You’ll watch old tv and sit out on the balcony in the middle of the night in a space where everything’s transitional and time has no meaning besides ‘not light yet.’ It kind of sucks, and is kind of magic, and you’ll be glad when it’s over and you’re drinking coffee at sunrise and moving on. (Also bring your own pillows, don’t walk on the carpet in your bare feet, and wear sweatpants to bed, trust me on this)
So after a while we did find a decent spot that was fairly clean, didn’t have too many problems, and wasn’t too far from the beach, and we went back there a few times. It was nice, and I have plenty of good memories of that place.
Except the last time we went on one of these trips.
It was high summer and our usual place was full. I don’t know if my parents forgot to make reservations, or if it wasn’t something we usually bothered with, but there we were with our bags in our car and doing our old routine of trying to find a place that wasn’t too moldy or visibly stained.
Fortunately up the same road a little bit was another motel that wasn’t full. It even looked similar to the other one, it may have been built at the same time. It even was clean. So we took a room, went off to have fun, and didn’t think too much about it.
Until it was night and we were trying to sleep. And the guys in the room next door (I think they were college-aged) apparently thought this was a GREAT time to have a party! Loud, thumping music, yelling voices, all up against our wall. We were annoyed as hell, but did our best to ignore it for a while.
Until they started banging on our door.
They banged loud and long, and started shouting for help. There were several of them. Maybe they actually needed help, god knows. They definitely sounded drunk and/or high. But yelling and pounding on the door and trying to peek in the window of the family next door was NOT the way to get us to open up.
We absolutely did not help. We sat there with the lights off, trying to be completely silent, hoping they’d think we were out somewhere. My mom was by the bed trying to figure out the motel phone (press these series of digits for an outside line! Then dial the long number on the back of the phone card you have purchased at any convenience store in the area!) so that we could call the cops, but couldn’t get it to work. As I mentioned before, this was the 90s, so no cell phones. So we just...hid. And hoped they’d give up trying to pound down the door and that nothing worse would happen.
They gave up pounding on the door.
In the morning, we got the fuck out of there.
I was already in the car, so I heard this part from my mom secondhand (I don’t think she would have wanted me there anyway): As we were putting our stuff in the car, my mom bumped into the lady who ran the place, as she was already starting to straighten out the rooms. (Again, these were small, cheap places that didn’t have a lot of (or any) staff, maybe 7-8 rooms total.) My mom, of course, told her what happened. Naturally she was like “what the fuck I don’t run a place like that” and right there and then, with my mom, she took her master key and opened up the guys’ room.
The boys staying there were already long gone. Their room was covered in blood.
#don't even know what to tag this really#cw: blood#cw: creeps#true story#iirc they trashed the room too#so yeah we didn't really do vacations after that

The Great Hunt ❄ Aokiji (Kuzan) x Female Reader ❄ Chapter 7 of 7
I cannot tell you now; When the wind's drive and whirl Blow me along no longer, And the wind's a whisper at last— Maybe I'll tell you then— some other time. The Great Hunt, Carl Sandburg
A story of departures and returns. And sex. Of course there's sex.

.・゜゜・Author notes: Just a lil epilogue type thing to wrap things up. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my pretty niche content (ಥ◡ಥ) @thehanging-gardens, I'll tag you here even though this chapter is short and kinda irrelevant lol.
.・゜゜・This chapter is SFT.
.・゜゜・Chapter word count: 443.
.・゜゜・AO3 (See first chapter for tags.)
.・゜゜・
It was coming up on a year since you and Kuzan had taken to the seas.
At first, you hadn’t dared to stay on one island for more than a handful of weeks…but things were different now. The World Government was almost completely incapacitated; most of the Marines had quit or simply deserted their posts, and the geographical realities of the Navy’s operations made compulsory conscription a near-impossibility.
From where you were standing, the resulting power vacuum had yet to cause any major problems. So, when you and Kuzan came across an island with cheap rent and an abundance of delicious food and new places to explore, you decided to take a risk and settle down for a few months.
The months had passed uneventfully, in the best possible way. Occasionally, a local’s curious gaze would find its way to your partner’s handsome face, and something like recognition would flash in their eyes. It was nothing that he hadn’t been able to resolve with a disarming smile and an offer of a free drink.
And now, as you both watched a distinctly familiar cloaked figure slide an envelope under your door, you were not too worried.
Despite your half-assed hiding spot down the hall.
Despite your partner’s 10-foot stature.
The figure turned and waved, their unforgettable grin poking out from under that same unforgettable mask, and disappeared without a word.
Kuzan just chuckled and shook his head. When you opened the door, he lazily stretched and plucked the envelope from the floor, ripping it open with a yawn.
When he read the contents, he looked considerably more interested.
“We’ve been invited to an event.”
“‘We’?”
“It’s on an island you’ve never been to.”
“...But you have?”
“Once.”
You grinned and pulled out your favorite world map. “Where at?”
“Not on there.”
You raised an eyebrow, but once you processed the implications of his words, you blanched. “You mean…?”
“Yes.” Kuzan stared at the invitation. “We’ve been invited to Ohara, for some sort of a consecration. Our invitation is, and I quote, ‘in recognition of our contributions toward the cause of the Revolutionary Army’...and yes, they addressed you by name as well.” You were almost flustered at the realization, but were distracted by the hint of a blush on Kuzan’s own cheeks, just barely visible against his brown skin. “I can’t imagine it’s much of a vacation spot, but…I’d like to accept.”
…That grabbed your attention.
“Oh? This might be the first time you’ve expressed any interest in our next destination.”
His eyes snapped to yours, shining with excitement. “What do you say?”
Your grin widened.
“...You know I’d go anywhere with you.”

Renaissance Masterlist
Words: 943
Summary: A marriage façade leads to a destination honeymoon in Florence, Italy. Vacationing in the Tuscan hills shows Feyre there's more to Rhys than meets the eye—maybe even a man she could come to love.
Chapter I: Forming a Façade
“You are so screwed.”
“He wouldn’t shut up about it, Mor!” Rhys moaned.
“You couldn’t have said you had a long-distance girlfriend or something? You told your father you eloped?”
Feyre stifled her snicker as his head thumped against the wood. As annoying as Rhys was, she felt bad for him. Cool, composed, Rhysand Stern was so sick of his father trying to match him with some socialite, he blurted the first lie he could think of to escape the conversation. Apparently it was better to be grilled about eloping than let his ass of a father pair him off.
“Wipe that smirk off your face, Feyre. I was half-tempted to give him your name.”
She scowled, but wisely kept quiet. Before she was fully brought into the fold she had been Mor’s college friend, later the recipient of a glowing endorsement from a wealthy benefactor her best friend happened to be loosely related to. He then put his money where his mouth was. Honestly, one internet search and his mother would likely believe her son fell for the young upstart he only meant to help along from a business standpoint.
“Now there’s an idea.”
She snapped her eyes to Mor’s. “No.”
“So what if you two go buy a pretty ring, play the happy couple, and then get “divorced” in a few months.”
“I don’t give a shit about my father, but I won’t lie to my mother again. I’m going to call her and explain—” His phone pinged. After taking a few seconds to read the message, he let out a heavy sigh, running a hand over his face. “Speak of the devil. My wife and I are to meet her for lunch on Saturday before promptly leaving for a surprise honeymoon destination. Back just in time for the charity event.”
Mor wiggled her brows. “You are not roping me into this, Morrigan. You or your fool of a cousin.”
“Uh oh,” she heard as the front door slammed shut. “What did Rhysie do this time to get you wound up, Feyre darling?”
She and Rhys both shot a glare at Cassian, leaving Az to put away the evening’s groceries as the former brought Feyre into a bear hug. “He was going on and on,” Rhys groaned.
“He told his father he had eloped last week when he tried to play matchmaker on their call,” she clarified. “Now Mor is proposing to me for him. The answer is N-O, my friend.”
“Even if I told you that destination honeymoon is likely the Stern family villa in Florence, Italy?”
Any artist’s dream destination, of course. Where the fine arts, education, philosophy, and many other elements of the world were reborn.
“Are you trying to bribe me with the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance?”
“Shamelessly,” Rhys said, shaking his head at the fiendish blonde seated across from him.
Feyre glared at her old friend. “I hope you realize I know there was more to how we met than your maneuverings of your cousin’s interest in art. Is this your second shot at shameless matchmaking, Mor?”
“Yes.” Mor was brutally honest, if nothing else. “Come on, Feyre. Let Rhysie try to woo you under the Tuscan sun.”
She scoffed. “Unbelievable. He has no interest in wooing me.”
“I wouldn’t go that far.”
Startled, Feyre looked back to the dark-haired subject. He held her gaze, absently swirling his half glass of wine—one of the few cheap red blends the three of them could agree on. You could have heard a pin drop. “Pardon?”
She expected that little half-smirk and some witty comment to follow. Instead, “Am I supposed to deny I’m attracted to you? I thought the flirting these months would have made that clear enough.”
“Flirting and wooing are very different things.”
He smirked and she turned around to help Az cook dinner for the group. Mercifully, there was no further mention of Rhys’ family or flirting that night, though the light in Mor’s eyes told her it was far from forgotten. As soon as the two of them left the apartment she was going to push this.
Feyre felt her pocket buzz with a text notification just as she stepped out of the living room and into the privacy of the kitchen. She reached to check the message. Her eyes scanned the message once. Then again, her chest tightening with every word.
It’s me, Tamlin.
No more running, Feyre. Let’s talk about this.
Graduating with her art degree had also meant leaving her controlling boyfriend behind, changing her phone number as quick as she left the city. Apparently he wasn’t fond of being ghosted. Feyre had graduated nearly two years ago. She thought she was in the clear. Either her number had been hard to find, or he had been biding his time.
“Feyre.” She hadn’t even noticed Rhys approach as the panic began setting in. “What’s wrong? Who texted you?” Wordlessly, she passed him her phone and he skimmed the messages himself, jaw clenching. Feyre knew Mor had mentioned her history in passing, especially since she was trying to get them to hook up at the gallery event. Still, seeing impulsive, genuine concern for her well-being from him was odd. It left a strangely warm feeling inside of her, despite not having any bond beyond his casual flirting. “We’ll get eyes on your apartment. You can have the guest room tonight.”
She took a sip of her water, trying to settle her nerves. “Feyre, I know things were difficult with him. History won’t repeat itself, I swear.”
“I moved to another city to get away from him. I really hope this is just a matter of a new number.”
He cocked his head. “And what if it’s a matter of a vacation?”

This Week’s Horrible-Scopes
It’s time for this week’s Horrible-Scopes! So for those of you that know your Astrological Signs, cool! If not, just pick one, roll a D12, or just make it up as you go along. It really doesn’t matter. Better yet! Check out “Heart of the Game, Fredonia” and see if they can sell you those D12’s with the symbols on them. Tell them “Shujin Tribble” sentcha. And “Hail, Hail, Fredonia!” Home of the Blue Devil!
Summer is right around the corner, so it’s time to start making your vacation plans. And we’re JUST the place to help you decide what to do and where to go. So get out your debit cards and get ready to plan your hotel stays. Remember, there’s a 30% Restocking Fee for any cancelled bookings. The Horrible-Scopes will not be responsible for any accidents, either mid-air or on the ground, to anyone using Ryan Air.
Aries
We’re suggesting you plan your vacation to Costa Rica. It’s relatively easy to get to from the USA and Canada, has reasonable prices, ridiculously clean beaches, and the locals are friendly. What’s not to love about this choice? So This Week… Make sure you book a visit to the Cloud Forest in Monteverde. It’s totally a magical experience!
Taurus
Where Aries went with a reasonable price tag, we’re sending you off an expensive one. Even booking through Costco you’ll be paying about $8,000 for 5 nights - but that puts you in an overwater bungalow, all meals, all flights and taxi to/from the airport - and the destination? Bora Bora! So This Week… Your high school-level French won’t be needed for this trip, but we suggest a hard hat. You’ve heard of Australian Drop Bears? How about Bora Boran Drop Coconuts? That can be a thing.
Gemini
Speaking of the Australian area of the globe, we’re sending you Fiji. No, they do not make Fiji-Brand Water there. But speaking of, bring a good camera with you because you’ll want to remember the water there to swim in. Just amazingly blue and warm water and you’ll enjoy every minute of it. So This Week… When you plan your vacation, just avoid Denarau Island. That’s where you’ll find the largest concentration of Australian Bogans visiting. If you don’t know what that term means, just ask an Ozzie - they’ll explain.
Cancer Moon-Child
We’ll make this one super straight-forward: Iceland! Try to imagine visiting a country that’s incredibly safe, welcoming, chilly, but built like it’s just one giant national park. It’ll be a great visit with a better-than-average chance to see the Northern Lights at night. So This Week… There is an incredible and authentic Ethiopian restaurant in Fludir, run by an Icelandic man and his Ethiopian wife. Some of the best food and coffee. You HAVE to get there and check it out!
Leo
Fancy taking a trip to the European mainland? Don’t care - we’re sending you to Spain. It doesn't get much hype but it promises sun, sand, cheap beer, cheap food, and it delivers 100% of the time… on the experience, not delivering food to you. If you want to stay away from the British and German tourists, plan on visiting the Basque region. It's a little more akin to the Pacific Northwest in the US, with a nice cool climate, still with stellar food. So This Week… You likely didn’t learn Castilian Spanish, so you might be treated with kid gloves if you try to speak Spanish to the natives. At least they’ll respect the effort.
Virgo
Some have suggested this location and it’s stirred up a nasty hornet’s nest of opinions. We’re suggesting you go to… OHIO! Now, yes. Ohio’s birthed a number of people who have gone on to intentionally leave the planet for space, but that’s not exactly a bad point. It could be said that they were simply looking for somewhere more exciting than Ohio, and not finding it on the planet, looked elsewhere. So This Week… Order a bottle of Loganberry Syrup to get your taste buds ready for a week at Cedar Point. You’re Welcome.
Libra
Plan on getting SCUBA Certified because you’ll need it as you head off to Belize! We’re going to remind you to research “the Blue Hole” so you can stay away from it, but this will be an awesome underwater experience! Imagine what it’ll be like to swim with stingray, small sharks, lots and lots of fish, and even eels that you can touch! Nothing will come close to that first dive with your instructor. So This Week… Always fall backwards out of the boat when you’re going SCUBA Diving. Because if you go the other way your facemask will hit the floor of the boat.
Scorpio
Here’s a sleeper hit for you - and you best not go bragging about it to anyone: Northern Michigan. Giant sand dunes, beautiful bays, the Great Lakes, Mackinac Island… It’s like a different country compared to the rest of Michigan. The woodsy lake vibes with all the waterfalls are truly amazing. So This Week… Just remember that you are right next door to Ontario, Canada up there. Do NOT annoy the local bird life.
Sagittarius
You’ll likely need a translator to help you out at times, but you’re slated to head out to Edinburgh, Scotland. Do your research and look up all the touristy places and stay way the hell away from them. You may love bagpipe music, but by the third day of hearing it incessantly, you WILL want to lance someone through the chest with a Claymore. So This Week… buy new socks and cushioned insoles for your shoes. Since EVERYTHING is uphill from there you WILL need them.
Capricorn
We’re sending you WAY up north to Juneau, Alaska. The wilderness is amazing to walk or trudge through, depending on what time of year it is and the weather. But even beyond the daylight hours, you’ll have an amazing view of the night skies - and again, a better-than-average chance of seeing the Northern Lights. So This Week… Make sure your passport is valid because if you want to head to Anchorage, that’s a 925Km (574Mile) straight-line distance, but that’s a 19 HOUR DRIVE! Do NOT run out of fuel on the drive!
Aquarius
We’ll suggest you consider Maui. Both the location and the animated character as voiced by Dwayne Johnson. We’re pretty sure most of you would LOVE to visit either one for various reasons. So This Week… Don’t even THINK about getting Maori tattoos on your body. They are painful and you WILL regret even trying.
Pisces
You will be getting the best vacation location. No, seriously.. This is the vacation everyone else on this list is going to be asking to trade with you for. (*Grand Pause*) Grandma's house. Just Picture It - Cartoons & Silver dollar pancakes any time you want them, homemade spaghetti & meatballs, and fresh baked cookies before bed. So This Week… We’re not crying! You’re Crying! Shut up!
And THOSE are your Horrible-Scopes for this week! Remember if you liked what you got, we’re obviously not working hard enough at these. BUT! If you want a better or nastier one for your own sign or someone else’s, all you need to do to bribe me is just Let Me Know - or check out the Ko-Fi page ( https://ko-fi.com/icarusthelunarguard )! These will be posted online at the end of each week via Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and BLUESKY.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, Blue!!
😴🌍🌂❓for Espio and Silver
Good morning!🍀
Espio:
hc + 😴 for a sleep-themed headcanon
Espio sleeps very rigidly and unmoving, kind of like he's ready to be carried right off into the grave. But that means if he falls asleep holding something (e.g. Charmy if the latter had a nightmare), that thing is basically stuck until he wakes up again.
hc + 🌍 for a travel-themed headcanon
Though the Chaotix don't really have the money for lavish vacations, they make something fun out of it all the same: they're speedy enough to go to far-off destinations, and manage to scrounge up tasty food and games to play together while travelling and once they have arrived. Even detectives need a day off at times!
hc + 🌂 for a weather-themed headcanon
Espio doesn't like rain because the droplets cling to his body when invisible and make it harder to remain hidden. But it does help with keeping his footsteps more concealed!
hc + ❓ for a headcanon of the receiver's choice
Espio is the one responsible for the groceries and cooking meals in the Chaotix's household: if it were up to Vector they would only be eating cheap instant ramen, and if Charmy had his way it would only be honey candy. Thus, Espio does his best to ensure that they at least get semi-balanced and nutritious meals with the budget they have. He's not a great cook by any means, but he does his best to get by with what they can get.
Silver:
hc + 😴 for a sleep-themed headcanon
Silver likes sleeping on his belly, so that his quills are up in the air to protect him when he's resting. I also figure he could be a light sleeper, though it helps if he has other people around him: knowing they're there for him to wake and help him out in an emergency gives him peace.
hc + 🌍 for a travel-themed headcanon
Silver travels all over the world of the past to see what the civilisations and cultures are like, compared to what he knows of the places Sonic often visits and his own era. Somehow he always ends up helping people out with all matters of issues and problems they encounter.
hc + 🌂 for a weather-themed headcanon
Silver can appreciate all different weather types: they all have their purpose, and he likes the variety that the world possesses. But he might be wary of thunder, due to not wanting to get struck out of the sky while he's flying. The bangs and flashes don't bother him, but he doesn't want to get caught in the midst of a thunderstorm.
hc + ❓ for a headcanon of the receiver's choice
Doesn't have a lot of knowledge on how technologies and inventions work, but he likes poking around in electronical systems and such and see if he can get anything interesting from it. Specifically, he tries various things with his powers to see if the technology reacts to it or not, though it often results in things breaking (which isn't always bad: he can render security systems and stuff harmless quite quickly with this).
