Honey Badger in the Lion's Den
Pairing: Max Verstappen x reader x Dan Riccciardo
Warnings: smut, threesomes, fmm, swearing
Word Count: 1.5k
a/n: Maxiel is real, prove me wrong. Let me know what you think about the pairing, I hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
Summary: Being the girlfriend of Max Verstappen has its perks: traveling all around the world, attending luxurious parties, and grabbing the attention of a certain Australian driver who can't stop staring at you and Max.
Tumblr media
You and Max had been dating for two years, and enjoyed every second of it. From traveling around the world to attending the most luxurious parties, Max made sure you were always comfortable and happy during the busy racing season. For him, most weekends consisted of tough practice sessions and grueling workouts.
You made it your mission to help him relax when necessary in order to prevent burn out. This consisted of massages or venting sessions before bed. If it was a particularly bad day rough sex in the bed or shower was usually the solution.
This weekend you arrived in Australia, just as Max and Daniel were doing media duties. You couldn't imagine any serious answers were given as the two drivers loved to mess with other during interviews. Watching the two interact from a screen there was no denying Max's boy crush on Daniel. This had been a long running joke online between fans, but it wasn't far from the truth. Max had been idolizing Daniel since they first met, and considered him a best friend. Max would never tell a soul, but whenever his imagination ran loose, the idea of Daniel on top of you made his pants get tighter. He thinks to himself it's wrong to imagine his girlfriend with another man, but it's just a harmless fantasy right?
Australia had been a total disaster for Max, not finishing the race due a gas leak was the last thing any driver wants on Sundays. Daniel had finished 6th, a respectable position considering he was driving in a shitty McLaren tractor-like car. Max was still in a bad mood as night fell on the racing city. Most drivers wanted to go clubbing and celebrate their earned points, including Daniel.
That's when the two of you heard knocking on the hotel door around 10 P.M. Opening the door you find Daniel's signature smile pulling you into a hug. "Hey y/n I haven't had a chance to say hi all weekend, how are you?" You responded by giving him a recap of the shops you visited and the restaurants you tried- his recommendations of course. Max hadn't looked up from his phone, not in the mood to match the Australian's cheery mood. "Are you guys coming out with us? The club we picked has the best champagne."
Max responds by telling him he's too tired to go out tonight and to have fun without him. Daniel could see through Max's bullshit response and looks over to you for an explanation. You shrug your shoulders not exactly sure what to say. Usually when Max had a rough race, him fucking your brains out helped him feel better. That's when you thought of an idea to cheer up Max. It was risky and could ruin one of the closest relationships Max had, but you were positive it would exciting.
Leaning closer to Max, you whisper, "what if we let Daniel watch as I suck your cock?" Max turns quickly around to face you, turning red in the cheeks, "what?" You snake your hand to palm his crouch, already hardening. You turn to face Daniel who's eyes glaze over with desire as he stares intently at the two of you sitting down on the chair nearby. "I think he also wants to watch me take you in my mouth."
Kissing up Max's neck, you unzip his pants and continue to palm his hard cock through his boxers. Max had given in to the pleasure and began making louder noises in response to your touches. You could hear the zip of Daniel's pants as he takes his semi-hard cock out beginning to slowly stroke it.
You decided it was enough teasing for one night and helped Max take off the article of clothing that was separating your mouth and his cock. He was already painfully hard, his tip was colored brightly red, begging for some sort of relief. You began at the bottom licking the shaft and taking his balls in the hands, avoiding the head. "Fuck-please take it all in y/n." You could see how much pre-cum had collected on top of his cock and collected it all on your tongue.
Max soon becomes confused as you get up and walk over to Daniel. He can only watch as you sat on you on one of Daniel's thighs and connected your lips together. After releasing your mouths apart you ask, "How does Max taste?"
"Like fucking Heaven" Daniel is quick to putting his hands on your shirt tugging it off of you. He was pleased to see you opted for a braless outfit as he began to fondle your breasts, kissing you once again. Max began to notice your hips moving against the Australian's thighs, in an attempt to give your clit some attention. Your hands found Daniel's cock and began rubbing him until he was fully erect.
Max thought he had died and was in his personal Heaven, this scenario only played out in his head when he was jerking off by himself, giving him the most intense orgasms. Yet, here they were, his girlfriend and best friend making out as Max got unbelievably harder. He could see y/n whispered something to Daniel as they both got up to remove the remaining pieces of clothing they both had on.
You came up to Max, while Daniel came from the back. Stroking his cock Max let his head fall back onto Daniel's chest. "That's it baby keep going" You however had another idea. You took one of Daniel's hands and placed it on Max's cock, molding it to go up and down the shaft. Max opened his eyes and began grunting louder turning to face Daniel. The two began to make out as Max was reaching closer to his orgasm. Daniel's lips tasted like the pre-game vodka he drank before he knocked on their door. Even though the taste of alcohol lingered on Max's lips he could get drunk on the feeling of having Daniel so close to him only. Why hadn't they done this sooner?
You removed Daniel's hand and instructed Max to lay down as you climbed on top of him and began rubbing his cock on your wet pussy. Finally, you push yourself down, having to adjust to his size no matter how many times you take him inside you. Riding on Max's cock you take Daniel in your mouth moving up and down. Sounds of moans and grunts could be heard as the three of you reach closer to the end.
Max moves his hips at the same time as yours to reach into deeper and faster. Max's cock curves perfectly into you pushing on your walls as you bounce on him in a faster, more desperate pace. He takes his fingers and rubs your clit, "come with me y/n." With the combination of Max deep inside you and stimulation on your clit, you explode first, Max following soon after. The two of you feel as Max's cum fills you up to the brim.
Daniel grabs your head and brings it down on his cock until your nose pressed against his abdomen. "Shit I'm going to cum." He pulls you off and releases his cum onto your lips and face, groaning as waves of pleasure ripple through his body.
You pull off of Max when Daniel puts you on your back, legs open towards him. Max's cum had started dripping out of you when Daniel began licking at your pussy. Throwing your head back in pleasure you couldn't believe you were close to cumming again so soon. He stuck his tongue inside of you licking up all of Max's cum and swallowing it. You finally reached your end as you tugged on Daniel's dark locks and made eye contact with him. As you rode through your second orgasm of the night, you noticed Max had gone to the bathroom and brought water and washcloths for the three of you.
Still breathing hard, you sat up on the bed and accepted the water giving a soft thanks, while Daniel helped clean you up. The room was silent, but comforting. Daniel and Max put on their boxers once more, while you wore one of Max's shirts. In the middle of the bed Max welcomed the embraces of both you and Daniel. He first kissed you also whispering a soft thank-you. He turned to Daniel and kissed him tenderly as the older man accepted the show of affection. Cuddling up all together the three of you drift to sleep, not worrying about the questions you would receive the next day from the other drivers about your absence.

PART ONE (the alchemy)
Juniper receives good news and has no choice but to celebrate with her closest friends, leading her right into the path of Aemond Targaryen (again.)
(TW: 18+ partying, drug use, nothing too crazy!)
word count: 4.3k
NEXT PART
By midnight, June’s feet ached in the heels required by her uniform. It was ridiculous, truly. The gala attendees barely looked at her for longer than a few seconds, so why was she squeezed into a cocktail dress that had probably been handed down a dozen times and shoes that made her calves tense and sore for days? As she ran drinks to and from tables, flashing her best million-dollar smile, she reminded herself the paycheck would be worth it. Her rent would be paid, her credit card debt knocked down, and she could finally buy the cat tree that had been sitting in her online shopping cart for weeks. Maybe she’d even splurge on a night out at The Velvet Throne with her roommate, Arianne, and their friends.
After a night working the Green Party’s latest altruistic-yet-off-putting kickoff gala, she would need at least four martinis and a cigarette. She had spotted Alicent Hightower, as beautiful as ever, gliding through the room in a deep sage silk gown. June wasn’t sure what the gala was raising money for, but they had raised a hell of a lot of it. She had to admit, Alicent was so stunning she might have emptied her own pockets for her, too. The Targaryen-Hightower children had made an appearance. The eldest—whose name escaped her—was drunk by the time the opening speeches began. Helaena had left early, trailed by three bodyguards. She’d seen the second son, Aemond, only from behind. Taller than his older brother, and surprisingly, not wearing green. Odd, considering the rumor was he was at odds with party advisors ahead of the election.
That morning, Arianne, Edith, and Seraphina had dissected the election over bagels and coffee. Edith claimed he seemed different from his father, with more progressive policies aimed at gaining the younger generation's vote. Arianne rolled her eyes and insisted he might put on a good show, but he was just as much a Targaryen as his father, with his scheming grandfather pulling the strings. “I’m sure he’ll say anything to get into office, and once he’s there, he’ll line his pockets like the rest of them.”
June had stayed quiet, editing her thesis on her laptop and mulling over her use of the word "delve." She had no faith in the system, nor those who upheld it. But she had heard a speech Aemond had given about student debt, arguing that education shouldn't have a price because knowledge was power, and everyday people deserved to hold it. It intrigued her—how young he was, and the impact that could have. She promised herself she would research more closer to the election and do her duty as a citizen of Westeros. Her brain was too full of edits and deadlines to give it much space now.
“June, we need more champagnes to the front table, like right now,” one of the other servers hissed at her, voice anything but subtle. She nodded and forced her aching legs to move.
At the table sat the Hightowers and their equally powerful, politically savvy friends. She spotted Larys Strong, who had served the late Prime Minister, looking as intense and off-putting as ever as he leaned on his cane. Jason Lannister's spray tan was a shade too deep, and June had to bite back a giggle. How could someone be so rich and yet so blind? Surely, he could hire someone to remind him that a few hours was more than enough.
She set the glasses down gently, adding a smile and a dragon-embossed napkin. June tried to ignore that Alicent Hightower was looking at her but managed a polite, “Is there anything else I can get for you?”
“I think we’re okay for now, thank you,” Alicent replied, her voice as graceful as her movements.
June smiled again, hoping her lipstick hadn’t smudged, and glanced around the table. The eldest Targaryen son sat to Alicent’s left, and next to him was Aemond, the current parliamentary candidate. He was all sharp lines and elegance, with blue eyes that were now fixed on her. June paled, frozen in place. Her gaze traveled from his silver hair to the scar etched over his eye and then to the gold signet ring on his pinky.
He was a Targaryen in every sense of the word, elegantly leaned back in his chair, hands folded on the table, eyes like steel.
The seconds stretched into an eternity before her brain caught up with her body. With another awkward grin and a slight tilt of her head, she turned—no, scurried—away.
Nothing embarrassed June more than feeling out of place. And that had been mortifying.
Back in the kitchen, she sipped water and fanned her face, hoping she wasn’t too flushed. She quickly asked the manager—an older woman with a sharp determination to break in the new servers—if she could take her first break. The manager nodded, and June didn’t waste a second before slipping outside. The cool air of a late August evening felt refreshing against her skin, drawing out some of the heat as she leaned against the brick wall. Her phone dinged.
TO: JUNIPER GREYSONFROM: DR. ORWYLE
Miss Greyson,
I apologize for the late correspondence. I have just received confirmation that your dissertation has been approved by the committee. Please call my office tomorrow morning to set a date for your defense.
CongratulationsSent from my iPhone
She squealed—a high-pitched, elated sound that escaped before she could stop it. It didn’t matter who heard. She had spent three years on that thesis, hours upon hours of research and writing and scraping by, and now she’d done it. Her fingers found Arianne’s contact, and she didn't care if the brunette was with her “so-not-my-girlfriend” girlfriend.
After a single ring, Arianne answered, “Junie! Are you off work yet?”
“No, not yet. Another hour, maybe. Do you have a second?”
“For my beautiful, smart, strawberry blonde best friend? Of course!” June could picture her now, animated, hands moving as she spoke. Arianne always had a flair for the dramatic—and for flattery, which June usually appreciated.
“It got approved! My thesis, I mean. Dr. Orwyle just emailed. It’s going to committee as soon as I set a date.”
Through the phone came another excited, ear-piercing squeal.
“Oh, Seven! June, that’s incredible! I knew you could do it!”
“I—” June stuttered, adrenaline catching up to her, “I think I’m in shock. I expected another round of edits, you know? The conclusion didn’t feel right on the last read—”
Arianne cut her off before she could spiral into self-doubt. “Breathe, Junie. You got approved! That’s the only thing that matters right now. Any chance you can leave early so we can celebrate?”
June glanced from her phone to the open kitchen door. “Give me twenty minutes, and I’ll be home.”
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Arianne, Edith, and Seraphina were waiting for her with wide grins and a drink in hand when she finally stumbled through the front door. In the mere twenty minutes it had taken June to get home, they had somehow managed to drape a glittering “Congratulations!” banner across the mantle, fill the room with balloons, and crack open a bottle of champagne. The faint scent of perfume and laughter filled the air.
Her heart swelled as they swarmed her, squealing and hugging her like they hadn't seen her in years. "Junie, we are so, so proud of you!" Edith sang, throwing her long arms around June in a hug that rocked them back and forth. The others echoed their congratulations, their voices bright and cheerful, brimming with the kind of excitement only best friends can muster.
They didn’t give her a chance to catch her breath, herded her straight to the bathroom, insisting she shower and change. She let them fuss over her, laughing as they debated outfits, finally settling on something so skimpy it would’ve made her mother clutch her pearls in horror.
For a moment, June thought of her mother, a sharp pang tugging at her chest. She should call her, share the news— but just as quickly, she shoved the thought away, burying it deep. Her mother had been so distant since the accident, so different from the bubbly, over-involved PTA mom who used to cheer too loudly at every recital, every bake sale. It broke June’s heart, but it had been three years, and she had learned to lock those feelings away in a box that she only opened on rare, quiet nights. She was different now too—tougher, more self-reliant. Or at least that’s what she told herself as she swiped concealer under her eyes and dabbed on a thick layer of blush.
"Come on, Junie, let’s go!" Arianne urged, grabbing her arm with a grin. "The Velvet Throne is gonna have a line out the door!"
She barely had time to grab her purse before they were out the door, tumbling into the warm night air. The city buzzed around them—cars honked, street lights flickered, and the distant thrum of music seemed to pulse from every corner. They giggled like schoolgirls as they raced down the street in their high heels, their excitement infectious. After a few glasses of champagne, the ache in her feet had disappeared and she was ready to dance.
When they reached the Velvet Throne, the line was indeed snaking around the block, a mass of people dressed to impress, chattering with anticipation. But Edith, ever the charmer, knew the bouncer. With a coy smile and a flutter of her eyelashes, they were whisked inside and escorted up to the VIP level.
The music hit her like a wave, a deep, pounding bass that vibrated in her chests. One drink turned into two, two into three. The bartender, hearing their redheaded friend was on her way to becoming a doctor, poured them free shots. June held her breath, pinched her nose, and downed it, wincing at the bitter taste but reveling in the warm, numbing sensation that spread through her limbs. The music was so loud it seemed to drown out her thoughts, and for the first time in a long time, she let go.
She danced like she was weightless, the beat coursing through her veins, her friends spinning around her, hair flying, eyes sparkling under the neon lights. They were all in their own little world, a blur of laughter, movement, and joy. At one point, she caught sight of Edith slipping a small baggie from a man in a dark jacket, his expression unreadable.
Edith grabbed her hand, pulling her into a corner and shouting over the music, "Cregan’s at a party at the Keep! He said we’re invited." She opened her palm, revealing the little baggie with a sly grin. "I say we take our new little friend here," she gestured to the baggie, "and head over! Lots of sexy, rich men and free drinks!"
The girls cheered, their excitement infectious, and June felt a surge of adrenaline. This night was far from over.
The Keep was the heart of King’s Landing, home to the city’s wealthiest and most influential residents. The girls had been to a few parties there before, the most memorable being the one where Seraphina ended up spending the night with a Prince from Dorne. They hadn’t let her live it down for months, teasing her with “Your Majesty” until they were breathless with laughter. The prince had texted her the next day, practically begging her to hop on the flight back with him. Sera had only shrugged, saying that while he was amazing in bed and seemed like a nice guy, living in the public eye wasn't for her.
Arianne and Edith had disagreed, dreaming up all the scandalous headlines they’d make if they were ever involved with someone so high-profile. "We’d be the perfect all-Westerosi girls," Arianne had insisted, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
June, as usual, had just nodded and giggled along, content to listen. But now, with the buzz of champagne and a little powder still fresh in her system, she was feeling more chatty. “How did Cregan manage to get into a party at the Keep?” she asked, her voice louder than she intended, her words slightly slurred.
Edith shrugged, adjusting the hem of her skirt. “Old money, babe. His parents have a house there. I’m sure he’s got connections.”
June leaned in closer, her eyebrows raised, chin tipped playfully. “So, are you two ever going to date? Or finally address all that crazy sexual tension?”
Edith laughed, tossing her hair back, her eyes gleaming under the streetlights. “Ask me that tomorrow,” she replied with a wink, just as a car pulled up to the curb. She quickly touched up everyone’s lipstick and hair with a practiced hand. “That’s us!” she shouted.
The Uber ride was a blur, the city lights whizzing by in streaks of neon and gold. It took only fifteen minutes, thanks to the late-night traffic, but it felt like a heartbeat. By now, it was past three in the morning, and though June wouldn’t admit it, she could feel the exhaustion creeping in, the night beginning to weigh heavy on her bones. Still, she was committed to the bit, the thrill of the night pushing her forward.
Cregan was waiting for them outside, leaning casually against the wall in his usual outfit: an open button-up shirt and jeans that clung just right. They exchanged quick hellos, June’s eyes flicking to Edith, who was already batting her lashes and nodding eagerly at everything Cregan said. She nudged Sera with her elbow, tilting her head toward the two of them.
“He’s definitely ending up at your place tonight, I hope you can sleep through it.” June whispered, twisting the silver ring around her middle finger. Sera managed a quick eye roll before they were whisked inside.
The drunk crowd sprawled across the plush living room seemed almost out of place, like they’d stumbled into the wrong kind of party. The room felt like it belonged to someone who read classic novels by the fireplace or debated politics over brandy. June noticed a distinct lack of personal photos; instead, the walls were adorned with stunning artwork, pieces that seemed to glow under the soft lighting and made her mouth water with envy.
She glanced up, her eyes following the endless ceilings that stretched toward a glittering chandelier, so ornate it looked like it belonged in a palace. Above it, a second level.
“Who’s place is this anyway?” she asked, turning to Cregan.
He tore his gaze away from Edith, though his hand remained comfortably on her lower back. “One of the Targaryens,” he replied with a casual grin. “I play ball with Aegon on the weekends. He’s around here somewhere.”
June raised an eyebrow, amused by the casualness of his tone, as if dropping the name of one of the city’s most influential families was no big deal, “He’s the oldest, right?” Cregan nodded, “I worked their gala event tonight. Rumor has it he left early because he was smashed.”
An arm slid around her shoulder, the weight of it startling her. She could see blonde curls from the corner of her eye. A voice, smooth and amused, spoke close to her ear. “Smashed would be correct, little red. But I have sobered up enough to throw one hell of a party.”
“June, meet Aegon. Aegon, meet Juniper Greyson.” Cregan interjected, gesturing between them. The blonde took his arm away from her shoulders and offered his hand to shake.
June took it, taking him in. While he and his brother shared the same icy hair and serene blue eyes, there was a softness to Aegon’s features that set him apart. His nose had a gentle slope, and his eyes, though strikingly similar in color, lacked the hard edge she’d seen in his brother— but were identical to their mother’s set and shape.
Aegon turned his attention to her friends, his grin widening as he introduced himself. His blue eyes stuck to Seraphina as they walked to the kitchen. June withheld her giggle, watching Sera blush under his gaze.
The girls chatted and the boys eventually drifted away to find more of their friends, not before finding the girls cans of seltzers and bottles of water. June watched as her friends chatted, feeling that odd sensation of being inside the conversation, but also outside of it. She figured the drinking, dancing and coke had caught up to her.
“I’m gonna find the bathroom— be right back.” She gave her friends a tightlipped smile.
“Want me to come?” Edith offered, but June shook her head.
“No, I’m alright. Go talk to Cregan again, he’s been staring at you this whole time.” She nodded her head at him across the room, and he quickly looked away, almost embarrassed that he’d been caught.
The first bathroom had been occupied but what she could only assume to be the raunchiest couple in King’s Landing with the sounds that they were making. She scoffed, sure she hadn’t really ever had mind-blowing sex, but that level of noise was just so obviously unnecessary. The second had just been locked with no answer to her knock. She sighed as she made her way up the stairs, finding not a single bathroom, but a bedroom with one connected.
After taking care of her business and washing her hands, drying them off on the fluffiest hand towel she had ever touched, she wandered around the bedroom. It felt wrong to snoop, but with the lack of trinkets or personal belongings she assumed it must have been a guest room. The bookshelf was full of classics and history books, a few well-loved first editions she could guess by the aged and worn spines. Now, in the silence, her head began to pound as the music faded away. She counted the drinks in her head.
One at home. Three at the bar. Add two shots at the bar. One downstairs. Two lines in between.
She realized she had definitely overdone it. While June enjoyed nights like these with her friends—welcomed them even—it wasn’t something she wanted to make a habit of every weekend. The way her vision blurred told her it would take weeks to muster the courage to drink again. Sitting on the bed, she ran her fingers over the dark green quilt and giggled.
Green. Of course it was green. Like the hand towel and the bathroom rug. She wondered if that’s what the owner of the room had told the interior designer, “Well, you see I like green. And I’m so, disgustingly rich.” She said aloud in the poshest accent she could manage, making herself laugh even harder.
The door swinging open seemed to sober her up quickly, pulling any laughter out of her chest.
She looked up, horrified to find Aemond Targaryen in the doorframe. He was wearing the same dark suit from earlier in the evening, but his jacket had been shrugged off and tossed over his arm and the first few buttons of his shirt were undone. “You.” He said, something like recognition washing over his face.
“Me,” June stammered, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks. “I, uh, just needed to use the bathroom and get away from the crowd for a moment. The one downstairs was occupied by a couple making the most disgusting noises, and the other one was locked—someone probably doing coke or something. I thought this was a guest room. I’m sorry. I should go. My friends might be looking for me.” She rambled on, the alcohol making her spill a play-by-play of how she ended up in his bedroom.
Aemond remained in the doorway, his expression unreadable. Despite leaning against the frame, he was still a head and a half taller than her. “You were at the event tonight, and now you’re in my bedroom. Stalking me?”
“You’re a very tough guy to stalk, Mr. Targaryen. I spent all night knocking on doors until Aegon let me in here,” June found herself looking down at her feet, the carpet much easier to maintain eye contact with.
“So, you’re friends with Aegon then?”
“No, not really. One of my friends is kind of seeing Cregan Stark, and he’s friends with Aegon. We were out celebrating and he invited us. I didn’t realize whose house it was—or that you must live here with Aegon.”
“I don’t live here with Aegon. The place is mine, but Aegon thought it’d be a good joke to throw a party here.” He crossed his long arms over his chest, and June tried to ignore the enticing hint of skin peeking from his undone shirt.
“Oh, that’s kind of shitty.”
“Kind of shitty should be Aegon’s middle name. I’ve already kicked everyone out. Your friends might be gone, but if my driver is still out front, I can have him take you home.” He gestured to the hallway and began to walk. June followed, too tired to argue.
“You don’t have to. I can call an Uber.” She said, not wanting to be a bother. But she did think, in the back of her mind, that Elide would have a fit if she knew Aemond Targaryen’s personal driver had taken her home. Arianne would pretend to be less impressed, but would hound her later on the make and model; asking if there was a privacy shade and free champagne.
“Ride-share crime has gone up 10% last quarter, I can’t in good conscience—especially not to a constituent.”
“Trying to win my vote, Mr. Targaryen?” She asked, grinning.
“I was hoping I already had it.”
“You probably do. I saw your student debt speech and liked it, but I’ve been putting off thinking about the election until school settles down. So I can make a well-informed decision of course.”
They descended the stairs. Indeed, Aemond had kicked everyone out, and only Aegon lay sprawled on the leather sofa. “Little red! I see you met my brother, charmer isn’t he?”
Aemond’s gaze was cold as he replied, “Go back to sleep, you oaf. I’m going to have Criston take her home.”
“Oh, I sent Criston back home. Oops.” Aegon giggled, clearly drunker than the last time she saw him. Aemond only sighed as they reached the door.
“I can take you home. I don’t drink, so I’m as sober as can be.”
June nodded, too tired to argue. The liquor made her pliant, and she was eager to get home. Aemond led her to a sleek black Mercedes, opening the door for her with a practiced ease. She found the gesture oddly intimate.
As he turned on the engine, the hum of the car snapped her out of her daze. She glanced around at the luxurious, leather interior. “You’re a PhD student at KLU, right?”
“Stalking me, Mr. Targaryen?” She peered at him.
“Aemond,” he corrected, his tone softer but still firm, glancing over at her as he handed her his phone, maps open and ready for her to enter her address. “Call me Aemond, please. ‘Mr.’ makes me feel old. I stepped out for a smoke this evening and overheard you on the phone. Congratulations, by the way. Dr. Orwyle is not an easy man to impress.”
“Oh.” June’s lips curled into a smile at the praise as she handed his phone back to him. She watched as the map popped up on the car’s screen, showing it was only a ten-minute drive home. “Thank you. I’m excited for it to be over, I think. You studied under Dr. Orwyle?”
She found herself looking at him again, her gaze lingering on his muscular hand gripping the steering wheel. “For my first PhD. He was a hard-ass, but pressure makes diamonds, and I couldn’t have done it without him.”
“Were you nervous for your defense? I know you do speeches all the time now, but I can’t shake the feeling that it’s going to be the hardest part.”
“Can I tell you a secret?” He asked, his voice dropping close to a whisper, as if anyone else could hear him. “I still get nervous. Every time. Whether it's a crowd of twenty or two thousand. But I remind myself that it’s not about me; it’s about the content, about getting people to listen. All the other stuff—the cadence of your voice or your posture—will come naturally.”
She hummed in response, her head resting against the cold window. The city lights blurred past, and she wondered if Elide had gone home with Cregan. “That’s good advice, thank you.”
“If politics doesn’t work out, my mother thinks I should go into consulting. Perhaps I have a knack for it.” He glanced over at her, his gaze intense. June tried to imagine the setting of that conversation. Was he worried about losing, or was the confidence from his team (or his family) faltering?
“You might, but I think politics might suit you better. The whole country seems to be buzzing about you.”
He shrugged, a flicker of something—appreciation, relief?—in his eyes. “We’ll have to see if that's the case in a few months.”
“Oh, this is me, with the red door.” She pointed out, and he brought the car to a slow stop. Before she could unbuckle her seat belt, he was out of the driver’s side and rounding the car to open the door for her. She found his chivalry oddly compelling, a sharp contrast to his earlier indifference to seemingly everything and everyone.
“Thank you for giving me a ride home, Aemond,” she said again, her voice tinged with genuine gratitude and something more. He just nodded, watching her unlock the door and step inside,
Juniper and Aemond failed to notice the blacked out SUV across the street, a long camera lens poking out of the passenger side, snapping away.
okay part one is out! I see this being 7-12 parts, depending on how much i daydream about it in class tomorrow. please leave comments questions etc! so excited to share this <3

the already impressive length of the text you're typing out to a friend is growing longer with each second that passes as you wait for him to come out of the shower. you're perched on the edge of the hotel bed, switching between replying to the texts and doing a little online shopping. the hotel that he's paid for is one of four that he books for these nights with you. he will only have the best room, in the best hotel and it shows.
the floor to ceiling windows boast the best 360 views of the city and you can still pinpoint the exact window that had your silhouette pressed against it like the touch from a ghost, leaving your presence within the room for hours after you've physically left it. the room is simple yet everything screams expensive. the mini bar is stocked with bottles of only the finest of champagnes, wines, and selection of spirits. you've image searched the art and it costs more than what he gives you a month. the bedsheets are the highest quality cotton and silk on a bed that was certainly not flat pack.
by the time you're dropping your phone back onto the bed and debating flinging yourself backwards too, he's stepping out of the bathroom in a blur of condensation and towards you.
"it's a good thing you don't have to pay me by the hour for these visits." you state, taking time to allow your gaze to linger over his body as he steps further into the room. the towel he's wearing is hanging low on his hips, not leaving much to the imagination at all.
"and why is that?" he's not oblivious to the way that you drink him in and there's already tell-tale signs of arousal. his own gaze drags over your body, admiring the new lingerie that he had sent your way as a "thinking of you in and out of this" gift. "You took your time," you comment, parting your legs and leaning back slightly as he fills the gap between your thighs and brings his torso close to yours. he's still slightly damp but you don't mind as you slot to him so perfectly it should be a crime to do so.
"you should already be nice and wet for me since you've been waiting so impatiently." he replies with a slight tone that brings a grin to your lips. he leaves enough of a gap to bring your hand between you both, hand reaching for his cock which is already stiffening against the towel. when your mouth opens to retort, he seizes the opportunity to claim your mouth.
Closing your fingers around his covered shaft, you stroke him ever so teasingly, enough to draw a slight whimper from him. you don't have time to be smug about such a thing, because you can already feel his own fingers brushing over the inside of your thigh and against your underwear.
your hips act with a mind of their own and buck up into his touch before you can stop yourself and you mirror the sound he made only moments ago. this arrangement was supposed to be financial only. and while there were no real feelings involved in a romantic sense, you did enjoy the genuine connection and chemistry that the two of you had which couldn't be bought.
"see," he says, middle finger stroking over the gusset of your panties, feeling the silky soaked patch increase as time ticks by. "so wet." "maybe that was from the thought of how I was going to be spending your money" you tease, and he grins; the action making your teeth clash together a little.
"you know what you did last time?" he asks in a quiet voice before his teeth nibble their way over your bottom lip. all you can do is hum your response as his fingers swipe over your swelling clit. "if you do that again, I'll pay for your shopping spree on top of this weeks payment."
the thought of having him powerlessly at your mercy once more is almost too great of an opportunity to pass up. you'd have done it again for free but if he was offering...

Moschino and Muddy Water [Emily x Reader]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Prompt: You offer unsolicited fashion advice to a total stranger in the dressing room; aka when you meet Emily Prentiss in the Moschino dressing room and give her some much-needed confidence… and maybe something more.
Category: Fluff/Comfort
Word Count: 3.2K
A/N: This is yet another @imagining-in-the-margins prompt from her Meet Cute writing challenge. Thank you for all the inspiration! Please know that I don’t have Moschino money, so if my writing about the brand or experience of shopping there is off, that’s why. I’m just giving my best guess as to what it’s like to shop at a luxury store like that. Also, I don’t love the current Moschino collection, but they seem like clothes Emily would wear to me. This is the first time that I’ve written a story in the second person. Please let me know if you like this formatting more than the third-person formatting I’ve done in the past. I hope you enjoy this story, and if you do - comments, likes, and reblogs are appreciated!
P.S. The reader uses she/her pronouns

You had spent the morning window shopping at the outdoor  Historic Downton Shopping Mall. She was currently standing outside the Moschino storefront with its crisp glass exterior and metrosexual, jewel-toned fall collection on the mannequins. _y/n_ would never stop at such a high-end shop, but a pair of boots had caught your eye and you really, really like them. _y/n_ thought, ‘Oh god, why do you have to torture yourself like this?’ As you walked into the store to take a closer look at those shoes. You justified the choice by thinking that she would take a closer look at the boots so you could try and find a convincing and far cheaper dupe online. As soon as you walked into the store a sharply dressed sales assistant approached her and said, “Good morning, Miss. Can I grab you a glass of champagne while you are looking around?” You smiled and said, “Yes, please.” The assistant nodded and moved into a back room for a moment. You heard the pop of a cork. While the woman was away, you looked over the dresses and jackets in the women’s section. You like this season’s collection and found a dress that you thought you had seen one of her coworkers wearing. The sales assistant came back and handed you a champagne flute and asked, “Is there anything particular you’re looking for today? Any style or event you’d like to help you with?” Now that you had committed to the bit by accepting the champagne you realized you were going to have to play that you were going to buy something, even though you knew you weren't. You turned to the assistant and said, “Well the black boots in the window caught my eye. I’m also looking for a new jacket; something that can transition from day to night.” The woman nodded and said, “Great. What’s your shoe and dress size?” You replied, “I’m a _s/s_ and a _d/s_.” The woman nodded and said, “I’ll go in the back to get those shoes. Feel free to look around the jacket sections -- it’s on the far wall.”
You did go look at the jackets, but not before looking at the price of the dress you had seen her co-worker in. The number on the label took your breath away and you wondered how your co-worker could possibly afford something so expensive? ‘Maybe she’s loaded?’ you thought. You stepped toward the jackets and pulled one from the rack. The quality of stitching and the material used was impeccable. You placed the piece back on the rack as a _f/c_ dress nearby caught your eye. It would be perfect for work. You looked at it longingly and hadn’t noticed the sales assistant had come back. You nearly jumped out of your skin when the woman said, “Ma’am.” You caught your breath and turned, trying to look composed. The assistant motioned for one of the plush chairs on the floor. As you sat, she took out the shoes. You tried them on; you were happy they weren’t that comfortable, because with how good they looked on you, you might be tempted to waste two months' salary and eat ramen for two weeks straight to get them. The sales assistant said, “Why don’t you walk around a bit and see if you like them. There’s a mirror on the other side of the wall so you can properly see them. I also saw you looking at that dress and jacket. I’ll grab them in your size and put them in a changing room for you.” You smiled and thanked her. As the woman moved to the racks, you did a few circuits of the store and looked at the shoes in the mirror. When you finished trying on the boots, you moved back to your old shoes and put them back on. You moved to the dressing room. It was lush and as a grandiose, over-the-top addition the hallway that was lined with changing rooms was essentially lit like a runway with two towering mirrors on either end of the hallway. Just before the changing rooms, there’s a seating area full of neutral-color plush sofas and chairs similar to those in the showroom. For a moment you thought they might be for the poor husbands who were dragged out shopping with their wives. However, after a second look, the space was far too feminine; you ascertained that this was for mothers and girlfriends to coo and make recommendations on the fit and look of the clothes to be soon bought and stuck in a closet somewhere potentially to be forgotten. A shot of jealousy shot up you for a moment before you took a breath and let it out. You may not have come from money, but you were happy. You had a job that fulfilled you and that’s all that mattered.
Your thoughts were interrupted when the sales assistant called for you. You moved to the dressing room she had picked out for you. As you peered into the large space you noticed two things. The first was that the woman had brought your champagne glass into the changing room and topped it up. Secondly, she had brought more than the two pieces into the dressing room. From your count, there were at least ten items on the small personal rack in the ostentatious room. The saleswoman said, “I took the liberty to pull a few more pieces in your sizes that matched the description of day to night that you mentioned. I’m going to let you try these items on. If you need anything like a different size or a top-up for your champagne, just let me know. My name is Kirsten, so please let me know if you need anything.” Kirsten graciously moved out of the dressing room and closed the door behind her. There was a satisfying click as the door automatically locked behind her. You relaxed after letting out a breath that you hadn’t realized you were holding. The fact that Kristen hadn’t realized that you didn’t have any money to buy anything she had pulled for you was shocking, or maybe she was just taking pity on her and not making this a humiliating experience. Whatever the cause was, you took off your pants and shirt and tried on the first dress, the original one you had been eyeing. When you looked in the mirror it really wasn’t as pretty on you as you had anticipated. It looked great on the rack, but on your _b/t_ it wasn’t flattering. With that disappointment swept under the rug, you took off the dress and grabbed for the next garment because surely they couldn’t all look as bad as the first.
As you slipped the second dress off the hanger you heard Kisten’s voice and a new voice a few feet from your dressing room. From what you could hear Kristen was talking to a regular. The jealousy swelled again, but you pushed it down again. The next two dresses were also flops and you started to try on the jackets Kirsten had picked for you, the new voice spoke. Whoever was in the changing room with you caught your interest. It was clear to you that whoever was speaking was on the phone. If you listened with concentration, you could hear some of the words being exchanged. Given this was such a stupid and surreal experience, why not listen to how ‘the other half lived?’ As you eavesdropped these were the snippets of conversation you heard: “Listen J.J. I’ve shopped here for years, but I don’t know about the Fall 23’ collection. If I buy these dresses and pants they will have to function for work and this date I’ve got coming up on Saturday… I can’t decide if this dress is tacky or chic” There was a long pause before the woman who was speaking said, “Okay, okay, fine, I’ll look in the big mirror if you insist.” You couldn’t help but leave your lush cubicle to see who this woman was and what someone who sounded like they had been a consistent customer for years looked like. You zipped up the hidden zipper of the _f/j/c/_ dress you were pretending to be trying on. After the zipper was up, you peeked out of the door to see the woman. She was still on the phone and hadn’t noticed you standing there yet. Your jaw almost dropped when you saw the woman. She was beautiful; the most attractive person she had seen in months. The maroon dress she wore hugged her body in the best possible way. Its plunging neckline showed her cleavage in a way that highlighted her form. Seeing her in that dress she realized who these clothes were made for. You could help yourself and you said aloud, “You look amazing.” At your comment the woman finally realized that she wasn’t alone and her eyes looked up to the mirror, locking onto yours. She turned and said, “Thank you. Do you really think so? I think the neckline might be a bit much” You smiled and nodded saying, “I think that dress was made for you. I couldn't help but overhear your comment on the phone and I don’t think it’s tacky at all. I would probably wear a cami under it at work, but other than that I don’t see any downsides.” The woman smiled and said, “Thank you. I needed to hear that. It’s been a rough week.” The woman took a moment to look you over, and you flushed as you felt her eyes quickly rake over you. She said, “You look great as well. That dress really suits you.” You beamed replying, “Thank you.” With slight hesitation and a bit of awkwardness, the conversation stopped and both women went back to their own stalls.
You took off the dress and put it back on the hanger. As silly as it was, you didn’t want the woman she had complimented to see her walk out of the store empty-handed. You exited the dressing room and told the sales associate that none of the dresses or jackets had worked out, and she thanked her for her time and help. Outside the weather had turned cloudy and grey. It had been raining a lot that fall and it looked like the trend was going to continue today. You decided to go to a store you could afford. You looked around the racks of _f/m/s_ and picked out a suad purse. You moved to the front of the store and checked out. You spent some time just walking around appreciating the cool weather and people-watching. You remembered that you had a Starbucks gift card and decided to treat yourself. As you walked toward the coffee shop you heard a noise on the opposite side of the road in front of her. You looked over in that direction and found the woman from the dressing room. It seems that she had fallen for some reason. You became increasingly annoyed as a group of guys and a few women walked by and didn’t help her up. More infuriating was the fact that you could hear one of the men laugh, and you knew that if she could hear his nasal laugh the woman most certainly could. You quickly moved across the road, avoiding a slow-moving car, and knelt down near the woman offering her a hand. The woman took it with surprising strength and you leaned back to help her up. Not only had she fallen, but she had fallen in a puddle of muddy water, staining her crisp white shirt. As she helped the woman up, she said, “Thank you so much! You’re my savior.” You smiled and said, “I’m happy to help.” Once she was back on the sidewalk, you leaned down and got to her dropped shopping bag and purse from the puddle. You made sure the bag labeled Moschino didn’t have any water damage to the package. Thankfully whatever clothing the woman had bought was put in another box due to the quality of the product. You shook the bag slightly to remove any excess water.
You noticed the reason for the woman’s fall was due to the fact that her right high heel had broken off. You couldn’t help but feel a bit of pity for this woman; she had said she had had a bad week, she had fallen and no one had helped her up, and now even her shoes were betraying her. Without even really thinking you said, “I was going to go grab a coffee and Starbucks, could I treat you to a drink? I’m_y/n_, by the way.” The woman looked at you and replied, “That sounds really nice actually. I’m Emily, Pretiss. It’s nice to meet you _y/n_.” You handed the Mischino bag back to Emily and you both moved down the street toward the Starbucks. As you were walking, Emily said, “You didn’t buy the dress from the dressing room? It looked so good on you?” You flushed but responded truthfully with, “I couldn’t afford the dress. I can barely afford Guess which is just a knock-off Prada.” Emily laughed at the last comment and you thought the sound of her laughing was the most beautiful thing you had heard all week. She replied, “Tell me about it. Why does shopping have to be so humiliating? First, you have to try on clothes and be disappointed when they don’t fit, and second, if they do fit, you can’t afford them! Certainly, men don’t have this type of problem while shopping.” You chuckled and said, “They most certainly don’t, but most men are wearing cargo shorts and Polo’s. A two-year-old could make the outfit.” You both burst into another fit of laughter. As you got to the Starbucks Emily opened the door for you. You both waited in line and as you got to the front you ordered your usual creme brulee latte with a shot of espresso and a pump of vanilla. You turned to Emily and asked, “What would you like?” She thought for a second before saying, “I’ll have a cold brew with sweet cream foam.” After you had paid you both found a quiet table in the corner of the store.
As you sat across from each other you appreciated Emily’s face. You couldn’t stop thinking about how pretty she was. You were pulled from your thoughts when Emily said, “So, where do you work?” You replied I’m an intern for _f/s_ currently. How about you, Emily?” Emily replied, “I work for the F.B.I. actually. I’m a profiler?” At this, your eyes widened and you said, “Really? What’s that like; it must be dangerous I assume?” Emily nodded. She was looking at you and the way you were looking at her ignited a small warmth in the pit of her stomach. _y/n_ was looking at her with a kind and attentive gaze. Emily had been struggling with dating since she had joined the BAU and now, by fate or fortune, she was someone who seemed lovely. She was actually dreading her upcoming date, but didn’t want to cancel on the guy and have to explain that she wasn’t into him anymore. So she was going to savor this moment with _y/n_. She responded to the question saying, “It is. It is dangerous most of the time. But it has to be done you know. People deserve to live in a safe world. And that’s what I do.” There was a moment of silence after this before Emily continued, “So what’s an average weekend like for you apart from boosting my confidence by fifty percent?” As both Emily and you recognized how this feels like a first date this all felt. However, neither one minded, and you replied, “I like to sleep in if I can. Then get a workout in and answer some emails and after that, I’ll grab a coffee and do something fun if I have the energy. I have a penchant for used bookstores and vintage copies of Virginia Wolfe. In the evenings I like to listen to _f/a_ on vinyl while I unwind with a glass of wine. How about you?” Emily liked what had said and replied, “Oh my god, I love _f/a_! I was them in concert last year. I think I changed my life.” You smiled and said, “Lucky.” After finishing a sip of her cold brew, Emily said, “Well it depends if my team is on a case then I’m working, obviously, but if I’m free I like to get in a workout like Yoga or pilates. I cuddle my cat and spend time making a nice meal. I’m trying to see every art museum in the city, so if I can fit that in then I will. My job is pretty stressful, so relaxing stuff mostly.” You couldn’t help but think about Emily cuddling her cat, or maybe you were thinking of her cuddling you instead. Your face visibly reddened and you had to look away for a moment. You and Emily continued to chat as you finished your drinks and before you got up to go Emily went out on a limb and said, “Hey, _y/n_, would you like to do this for real sometime soon?” At hearing this the butterflies in your stomach fluttered up into your chest and you thought you might float up to the ceiling. You wanted to be sure you heard correctly and said, “This?” Now Emily flushed and she replied, “Would you go on a date with me? You seem really kind and I’d like to get to know you better.” You wanted to nod or scream with excitement, but something stopped you for a moment and asked, “What about your date on Thursday?” Emily shook her head and said, “I’ll cancel. He was rude in his messages with me and I was having doubts already.” You took in the information and nodded replying, “Then yes. I’d love to go on a date with you, Emily.” Emily’s face broke into a radiant smile and she said, “Great. What day works for you?”
As you planned the day and time for the date the chemistry was palpable between them. As they both walked to the door to go their separate ways, Emily held the door for you. Feel blossoming feelings Emily felt toward you surged as you turned away from her and she couldn’t stop herself from saying your name. You turned and there was a look of desire on Emily’s face. You stepped forward and whispered her name. Emily closed the gap between you. She took one of your hands and leaned down slowly. Slowly enough for you to say no if you wanted. But you didn’t want to say no. Instead, you raised up on your toes to meet her lips. They were as warm and soft as you had imagined. The scent of her light perfume overwhelmed you and you felt dizzy in an intoxicating sort of way. Emily was similarly reveling in your closeness. She lifted her hand and ran her thumb down your jawline. The kiss lingered, but it was polite and respectful and left room for more when the time was right for them both. As you parted for real this time as you walked toward the train you had never been so happy to have gone into that Moschino to look at shoes you couldn't buy in your life.

A/N: And we're back with part 1 of Mikey and Reader's big date! Enjoy!
Michael took a deep breath as he walked back down Y/N's driveway. He honestly hadn't expected their conversation with Anna to go nearly as well as it had, but thankfully Anna had ultimately agreed to stay away from Bren.
What Michael wasn't pleased about was the newfound knowledge that no matter how much he had tried to protect Y/N from his father's predatory ways, Bren had still managed to get his hands on her.
As he had sat and listened to Y/N recount her trauma, it had taken every ounce of self-control he had to not go hunt Bren down and kill the bastard right then and there. The only reason Michael was sticking to the plan was because he finally felt like he was at least getting a chance to be happy, and he didn't want to fuck that up by going back to prison for killing his father in broad daylight.
He shook his head. He had a lot to do in order to prepare for his and Y/N's date and not a lot of time in which to get it all done, so he needed to focus.
He had already made dinner reservations online, so next on his list was flowers.
Florist Dublin, he typed into the search bar on his phone's web browser, scrolling through the list of results until he found a nearby flower shop within walking distance that also happened to conveniently be located next door to a wine shop.
As he walked there, he grinned to himself at the thought of possibly having gotten to take Y/N out as teenagers, a bright smile blooming on her face as Michael shyly handed her a single red rose upon picking her up for their first date.
"Good afternoon," the clerk, an older lady with gray hair, said as he entered the shop. "May I help ya, sir?"
"Err, ah, yes, ma'am," Michael replied, looking around at the different arrangements. "I'm lookin' fer some flowers."
The clerk let out a gentle laugh. "Well, ya've certainly come to tha right place, dearie. What's tha occasion?"
"Well, it's fer a date." Michael couldn't help but smile. "A firs' date, actually, but she's been my best friend fer years."
The clerk nodded in understanding. "Do you know wha' kind a' flowers she likes?"
Michael thought for a moment. In all his years of knowing Y/N he actually had never known her to have mentioned receiving flowers from anyone. "Actually, no."
"Okay, in tha' case, maybe roses? It's a classic tha' never goes out 'a style." The clerk pulled out a binder, flipping through it briefly before turning it to face Michael then pointing at the photograph of a bouquet of roses. "Perhaps a mix of yellow and white then, symbolizing friendship and new beginnings."
Michael nodded. "That sounds grand. How soon can ya have it done?"
"Luckily we keep plenty of roses on hand, so… twenty minutes or so?"
"Perfect." Michael paid for the flowers then popped into the wine shop next door to look for a bottle of champagne while he waited for the bouquet to be ready, then on a whim he went into the hardware store across the street to look for some LED candles.
He collected his purchases and headed home, putting the roses in some water to keep them fresh until the evening.
He marked them off of his to-do list then smiled as a text from Y/N arrived. Ya busy?
Nah, not really, Michael replied. Just straightening up around the house.
Good, because I need some help deciding what to wear.
A new message arrived, this one with an attachment.
Michael's throat went dry as he opened it. Fuckin' hell.
Y/N had sent several photos of herself modeling various lingerie sets, the marks Michael had left on her proudly on display.
Michael swallowed before replying. Honestly, pet, ya look beautiful in all of them.
Mmm, so that means surprise ya, then?
One more photo arrived. Y/N was topless in this one, her left arm strategically covering her breasts.
Michael huffed out a breath, fighting to keep all of his blood from rushing south. Keep that up and we won't even make it to dinner.
Maybe that's what I'm counting on.
Michael grinned. Patience, pet. You're definitely gonna need your strength for later tonight.
Mmm, I'm looking forward to it.
Me too. See ya soon, love.
Michael stuck his phone back in his pocket and finished unloading his purchases, putting the champagne in his refrigerator before setting the candles up.
He headed upstairs, changing the covers on his bed before going to take another shower.
As he stood under the hot spray of water, his mind drifted back to the photos Y/N had sent him earlier that day.
He could picture her spread out beneath him, little whimpers and moans escaping her lips as Michael slowly peeled whichever lingerie set she had chosen to wear off of her then kissed and marked his way down her body to her warm, waiting core --
He shook his head. He was already running a bit behind, he didn't have time for shower fantasies at the moment.
He hurried through his shower then pulled on a suit before drying and styling his hair.
He examined himself in the mirror. The last time he had worn a suit had been at Jamie's funeral over a year ago.
Y/N was one of the few people who had always known the truth -- that Michael, not Jimmy, had been Jamie's biological father -- and had agreed to accompany Michael to the funeral despite Amanda's explicit demands for a private service attended only by family.
Y/N may not be a Kinsella in name , Birdy had said when Amanda had protested Y/N's presence, but she is family. She has every right to be here as the rest of us.
After the service, Y/N had gone back to Michael's with him and held him as he had privately cried over the loss of his son. "I'm here fer ya, love, ya can let it out," she had murmured into his ear while gently stroking his hair. "I know, it's okay, I'm here, I've got ya."
Once Michael had cried himself out Y/N had pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead and gotten up from Michael's sofa.
He had assumed she had been getting ready to leave but instead she had returned with a warm, wet washcloth and gently wiped the tears from Michael's face before grabbing a blanket and covering the both of them up.
"I'm not goin' anywhere," she had said after Michael had said as much. "Not as long as ya need me here wit' ya."
In hindsight, Michael was surprised that he hadn't confessed his love for her that day. The emotions that had been rolling around in him had been a strange mix of grief over the loss of Jamie combined with his love for Y/N and gratitude for the comfort she brought to him.
He shook his head. He wasn't going to dwell on the regrets of the past, he was going to focus on his future with Y/N.
He made sure he had his keys and wallet then headed downstairs, grabbing the bouquet of roses as the cab he had called for pulled up.
"Good evenin'," the cab driver said as Michael climbed in. "Where ta?"
Michael gave Y/N's address. "And then 1900 Bar and Restaurant."
The cabbie nodded and input the addresses into his GPS. "Alrigh', we'll have ya at yer firs' location in a jif'."
Michael sat back as the cab began to move, and a couple of minutes later, the cab pulled up to Y/N's.
Michael opened the door. "I'll be right back."
He walked up to Y/N's door and rang the bell, butterflies beginning to flutter in his stomach.
He could hear Y/N's heels clicking across the floor as she approached the door, and after a brief pause, the door opened.
Michael's heart skipped a beat.
Y/N looked breathtaking in a long black dress with a slit up the side and a top that covered her chest and wrapped around her neck, hiding the love bites Michael had left on her the night before.
…As beautiful as she looked in it, Michael couldn't wait to get her out of it later.
He mentally shook his head. Dinner first, then dessert.
A slow smile spread across Y/N's lips. "Hello, love."
Michael smiled back at her. "Ya look mesmerizin', pet."
He held the roses out. "These are fer ya."
Y/N took the bouquet. "Oh Mikey, they're beautiful."
Michael rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Tha, uh, tha woman a' tha shop said they symbolize friendship and new beginnin's."
Y/N gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I absolutely love 'em. Let me go pop 'em in some water before we go."
Michael nodded. "Okay."
He waited as she went to put her flowers into a vase, then they headed to the waiting cab.
He opened the door for her and gestured for her to get in. "Ladies firs'."
He waited for Y/N to get in then slid in after her, taking her hand as the car began to move once again.
Y/N smiled over at him. "By the way, ya look amazin' too, love."
Michael grinned. "Thank ya. So how was yer afternoon?"
Y/N shrugged. "It was grand. Went ta tha grocer's and finished up some housework, then got ready fer our date. How was yers?"
"Same. Ran some errands then got ready fer tonigh'." Michael gave Y/N's hand a soft squeeze. "Ya have no idea how many times I've imagined gettin' ta take ya out on a date. I still can't believe I'm actually gettin' tha chance."
"Me too." Y/N squeezed his hand back. "I never thought ya'd feel tha same way about me as I feel about ya."
Michael shook his head. "I've loved ya fer a long time, pet."
They rode in comfortable silence the rest of the way to the restaurant.
After thanking their driver, Michael slid out of the car then extended his hand to Y/N.
Y/N took it and stepped out, a beautiful smile across her face.
Michael opened the door to the restaurant and they walked in.
"Good evenin', welcome to that 1900," the maitre'd said as they approached the host stand. "Do ya have a reservation with us?"
Michael nodded. "Fer 6:30. Name's 'Kinsella'."
The maitre'd tapped on a computer screen. "Ah, yes, sir. Righ' this way."
He escorted them to a private table near the bar. "Here we are. Yer server'll be righ' wit' ya."
Michael nodded as he pulled Y/N's chair out for her. "Thank ya."
Y/N smiled up at Michael as she sat. "So gentlemanly. Thank you, love."
Michael sat across from her with a grin. "Yer' welcome, pet."
He looked around. "This is nice."
Y/N nodded as she opened her menu. "Yeah, I've heard good things."
A few seconds later their server walked up to pour them each a glass of water and take their drink orders.
After they had gone, Y/N gave Michael a cheeky grin. "So… Michael, tell me a bit abou' yerself."
Michael chuckled and took a sip of his water. "Well, I'm widowed with a 16-year-old daughter, I spent 8 years in prison, and I'm hopelessly in love wit' my childhood best mate, who's tha mos' beautiful woman I've ever met both inside and out."
Y/N let out a light laugh. "Hmm, well okay, I can work wit' tha'."
Michael gestured to her. "Your turn. Tell me about yerself."
"Well, I've never been married and have no children but I do have a sort-of niece tha's always been more like a daughter ta me, and I'm also hopelessly in love wit' my childhood best mate, who is the sweetest, kindest, mos' caring, loving, and handsome man I've ever clapped eyes on."
Michael grinned as their server came to deliver their drinks and take their orders. "Glad ta see we have somethin' in common then."
Y/N shot him a wink. "Few things."
Michael shook his head. "Seriously though, love, thank ya for always bein' there fer me."
Y/N bit her lip, then nodded. "Yer' my best mate and one of tha mos' important people in my life, Mikey. Nothin's ever gonna change tha'."
Michael nodded back. "I feel tha same way about ya too, pet."
Their conversation flowed easily throughout dinner, switching back and forth from their usual jokes and good-natured ribbing with each other to more serious topics, like Y/N's latest shifts at the hospital and their discussion with Anna earlier that day.
Michael was still curious what Y/N had spoken privately to her about, but believed Y/N when she had said that Anna was fine physically and that if she had been in any sort of danger that Y/N would let him know.
After they had eaten and he had paid the check, he bit his lip with a smile. "So I was wonderin', uh, would ya be interested in continuin' tha evenin' by comin' over ta my place fer a nightcap?"
Y/N grinned as she pretended to think. "Well, I don' normally go home wit' someone on tha firs' date," she replied, "but we've been gettin' on so well tha' I don' see the harm in one drink."
Michael stood and held his hand out to her. "Shall we, then?"
Y/N stood as well and took his offered hand. "Yeah, let's go."
They headed outside and hailed a cab, then were on their way back to Michael's.
Michael's stomach fluttered in anticipation as they pulled up to his house.
He took Y/N's hand as they stepped out of the cab. "Well, here we are."
Y/N gave his hand a little squeeze as they walked up the driveway to Michael's front door. "Jus' so ya know, this has been tha bes' firs' date I've ever been on."
Michael smiled. "Yeah, fer me too."
He unlocked the door and led her inside, hoping that the rest of their evening would go just as well.

there's glitter on the floor (after the party)
Tumblr media
ship: Helnik
rated: T
read on AO3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/52884196
Part 4 of the Helnik Royalty AU is Christmas fluff, written for Kay (@im-doing-hot-girl-shit ) for the Bastards of the Barrel WInter Exchange. Hope you enjoy, Kay!
there's glitter on the floor (after the party)
Christmas banquets and New Years galas are all the same – the same themes, same music, same kind of classy entertainment – year after year. Matthias has never found them exciting. Even Christmas has long since lost its charm. When expensive clothes and items are an everyday requirement, gift-giving can easily get excessive. He really appreciates his little sister's handmade or thoughtful gifts – Embla has always been artistic – but the family traditions have felt a tad stiff and planned and lackluster. The highlight has always been decorating their own private tree together, and getting a few rare days of downtime between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Nina throws all his expectations for another boring holiday season out of the window.
The day before the row of banquets start, she shows up with two homemade bingo sheets.
"These are things I think we'll spot people doing," she explains with an excited smile. Matthias stares at the paper, confused. It contains squares like Ambassador Gröndahl itches his nose and someone trips on their skirt and Embla shocks someone with descriptions of her current obsession (horror TV-series) and a parent gives their child the patented disapproving stare and someone gets too drunk and knocks over a glass. "Every time we see something on this list happen, we get to cross it off after the party! And then if we get the whole bingo card we can celebrate!"
"Celebrate with what?" Matthias asks dumbly.
Nina smirks. "Perhaps we'll shop together online for some lingerie."
That gets him on board real fast.
-
The other bingo card contains ridiculous phrases or words they have to try to squeeze into polite conversation.
"Why, I believe Mrs. Andersen is slaying in that dress tonight," Matthias comments to Nina and Embla while watching the dance floor. Mrs. Andersen is about 80 years old and wearing a black ensemble which might be made out of leather, but Nina keeps a surprisingly straight face at his comment, her eyes glittering. Embla in turn is choking on her champagne, eyes comically wide.
"Yes, it's giving fashion," Nina retorts, a pretty tame phrase on their third bingo card – they are going through them way too fast.
"I can't with the two of you," Embla mutters and flits away to join one of her friends.
"Are you having fun, darling?" Nina asks, and Matthias wraps an arm around his wife.
"Surprisingly, yes," he admits.
-
They do keep to Matthias' family's tradition to decorate a private Christmas tree. The rules are that they have to chop it down themselves in the forest edging palace grounds, and every year they manage to find an ugly and lopsided one.
It always looks crazy and colorful and beautiful with the ornaments on, though.
Matthias hangs the star but lets Embla dig through the decorations they've made through the years: pinecones painted by clumsy chubby toddler hands, paper snowflakes that he made when he was still mastering the scissors, tacky painted balls and some uneven crocheted angels Embla has contributed. Of course there's tinsel and family ornaments from years past as well, so it's quite a mess.
Nina runs back to her rooms and contributes an ugly glittering plastic avocado-ornament as well as a red ball with a picture of her family printed onto the side. Embla is ecstatic about the ugly ornament and Matthias shakes his head from the sofa while the women debate the best branch to hang it from.
His parents have already given up, enjoying a hot toddy and casually cranking up the volume on Frank Sinatra Christmas songs to drown out Embla's dictator-like commentary on tree decoration.
Matthias feels happy, at that moment. Content. In the years to come he's sure Nina will add more ugly decorations, and perhaps one day assist new chubby hands in making something for the tree.
-
Nina insists on making Christmas dinner themselves. She somehow gets his mother and father on board. Mother even starts reminiscing about grandpa Krister's Christmas meatballs and digs out all the old family recipes on her side. Matthias' father has always enjoyed cooking, and he cures the salmon for gravad lax and makes the potato casserole.
Matthias religiously follows a recipe for a beetroot salad, and does not mess it up too badly. Nina whips up cranberry mousse and generally cooks like there is no tomorrow. The ham ends up with a lovely mustard glaze and they'll have leftovers for a week. The table looks very different to Christmases before, no carefully plated dishes or subtle flavor combinations. Instead some dishes are a bit burnt, others too salty and some quite perfect. At least their cooks sure enjoy an extra holiday.
Embla's Christmas tarts meant for dessert sort of explode in the oven, but they all agree they taste wonderful.
-
Matthias gets a kiss at midnight that New Years, and he strokes Nina's cold cheek as fireworks explode above. Privately, he muses that she's been the best thing about this year.
-
They make new traditions as well. Nina enjoys having dinner with friends on January the first, to start off the New Year right!, she claims.
Matthias loves how well their friend groups mix, Nina's friends and siblings having flown up to meet them. He especially enjoys watching Nina in her element, playing hostess and tossing jokes around. Her brown hair meshes with Inej's black as they lean their heads together, discussing something in animated whispers.
Fedyor sidles up to him at some point, and they contemplate the starry sky outside while nursing their warming beers.
"She's really happy here," Fedyor says quietly at one point. "Just so you know."
Matthias smiles and claps him on the shoulder.
"I'm really happy she's here," he says, and they rejoin the party.
-
And January the second... Well, the lingerie they ordered arrives, and Matthias tackles Nina into bed and they don't end up leaving their room that day.

Every time though, he’s stopped by a pop of the hip, a flick of the fringe, or those goddamn clear glasses, worn only to make Calum constantly hard.
It’s not that Calum doesn’t believe their relationship would be amazing, because it would be. It’s just, for all that they blend together perfectly, Calum isn’t sure that they’d be sexually compatible. Because while Calum loves to be held down and man-handled, Michael, well…

throw on a jersey, no one gets hurt (ao3) - orphan_account luke/ashton T
Summary: Ashton knew he wasn't normal okay, he fucking knew it, he didn't need his father reminding him of that every goddamn day. He knew it wasn't normal to like wearing girl's clothes and makeup and just feeling pretty, but it was like an itch under his skin - he needed it, just like he needed the sharp blade in his drawer.
Maybe that was why he was close to just ending it all.
Thunderstorm (ao3) - outlawofideal michael/luke, minor calum/ashton M

Summary: "How was it? How was it, Ash? Was it fun? Did you throw the ball? Was it awesome? Did they-"
"Lu, too many questions." Ashton chuckles, petting at Luke's hair as he moves his awkwardly growing fourteen year old body towards the backyard with his twelve year old best friend and neighbor close behind him.
Ashton sits on the warm grass, tossing his shoulder pads and helmet to the side and kicking his muddy cleats off, turning to look at Luke's tanned face and they way it makes his eyes look an even brighter blue than normal. Luke looks anxious to know about Ashton's first football practice, brimming with so many questions that they'd probably be here all night if Ashton let Luke keep asking, and he knows it's only because this is the first thing that Ashton's done without Luke in pretty much forever and that Luke's curious because he wants to play football too. Luke isn't old enough for the town league yet though, and he won't be for two more years so right now he's stuck with living vicariously through Ashton.
Or: Luke and Ashton are football buddies until they're not and then they are again and then they're not and---okay, you get it.
you own me, you rattle my bones (ao3) - iambic_pulse michael/luke/ashton E
Summary: Kink meme prompt: Luke wants to be used, roughed up and degraded but he also wants to be caressed and comforted and told how beautiful and good and perfect he is. At the same time. That's how he ends up with two doms: Ashton to treat him rough and Michael to comfort and encourage him with gentle kisses and sweet nothings.
you're lucky if your memory remains (ao3) - orphan_account michael/calum, minor luke/ashton E
Summary: "Calum's frame is so small and frail, Michael feels like he might turn to dust if touched. His usually amber brown skin is now pale and ghostly, wrapping around his bones like a thin sheet of snow. He reminds Michael of the paper flower he gave the boy when they were younger; fragile, crumpled, and barely holding himself together."   Calum's gone, and Michael can't forget him even if he tried.

Why Gifts in a Box Are the Perfect Choice for Any Occasion
Gift-giving is an age-old tradition that symbolizes appreciation, love, and celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or any other occasion, finding the perfect gift can sometimes be a challenge. However, one increasingly popular trend is the concept of “gift in a box.” This thoughtfully curated option brings elegance and simplicity to the gift-giving experience.
Tumblr media
What Is a Gift in a Box?
A gift in a box is exactly what it sounds like — a collection of themed or personalized items packaged elegantly in a box. These gifts can range from luxury items like chocolates and candles to personalized keepsakes, making them an incredibly versatile option. Rather than giving a single gift, a boxed set allows you to present a curated experience to the recipient, filled with carefully selected items that reflect their preferences, style, and the occasion being celebrated.
Why Choose a Gift in a Box?
1. Versatility for Any Occasion
The beauty of a gift in a box is its versatility. Whether you’re attending a wedding, celebrating Mother’s Day, or congratulating someone on a job well done, there is a box for every occasion. Some popular themes include:
Wedding and Anniversary Gifts: Elegant boxes featuring champagne, glasses, gourmet chocolates, or personalized keepsakes.
Birthday Gifts: Fun, colorful boxes filled with beauty products, artisanal snacks, or personalized stationery.
Corporate Gifts: Professionally curated boxes with luxury pens, notebooks, and gourmet treats perfect for clients or employees.
Holiday Gifts: Themed boxes for Christmas, Easter, and other holidays that can include seasonal goodies and festive decorations.
With so many themes and options, finding the perfect gift in a box is easy and fun.
2. Curated and Personalized Experience
One of the biggest advantages of choosing a gift in a box is the attention to detail. Many sellers, including The Coco Love, take great care in selecting high-quality products that complement each other. These items are often arranged beautifully, turning the unboxing process into a delightful experience.
In addition to that, personalization is often available, allowing you to customize the box based on the recipient’s tastes and preferences. This could include:
Adding a personalized note or message.
Customizing the items inside (e.g., choosing specific scents or flavors).
Including the recipient’s name or initials on some products.
This level of customization makes each box unique, showing that you put thought into creating a memorable and personalized gift.
3. Convenience and Time-Saving
Shopping for the perfect gift can often be time-consuming, especially if you’re unsure what to buy. A gift in a box simplifies the process by offering pre-curated selections, saving you time and effort. With just a few clicks, you can choose a box that fits the occasion and have it delivered directly to the recipient.
Brands like The Coco Love offer seamless online shopping experiences, making it incredibly convenient to find and send the perfect gift. Whether you’re ordering a box for a close friend or a colleague, the process is quick and efficient, helping you avoid the stress of last-minute shopping.
The Element of Surprise
Another reason why gifts in a box are so special is the element of surprise they bring. The recipient doesn’t just receive a single item but a collection of thoughtfully selected products that they may not have expected. The act of unwrapping each item creates excitement and a sense of discovery, making the gift even more memorable.
Why Choose The Coco Love for Your Gift in a Box?
When it comes to finding the best gift in a box, The Coco Love stands out as a premium option for several reasons:
1. High-Quality Products
The Coco Love is known for its commitment to quality. Their gifts feature a curated selection of artisanal and premium products, ensuring that each item in the box is high-quality and thoughtfully chosen. From gourmet treats to luxurious self-care items, you can trust that the recipient will enjoy every part of the gift.
2. Elegant Presentation
Presentation is key when it comes to gifts, and The Coco Love excels in this area. Each box is beautifully packaged, with attention paid to even the smallest details. Whether it’s a ribbon, personalized card, or a sleek and modern box design, The Coco Love ensures that the gift looks as special as it feels.
3. Personalization Options
One of the standout features of The Coco Love is their ability to customize boxes to fit any occasion. Whether you’re sending a gift for a corporate event, personal celebration, or holiday, they offer options to personalize each gift. You can select the products you want, add a personalized note, and choose packaging that fits the theme of your event.
4. Sustainability Commitment
In today’s eco-conscious world, many people are looking for ways to give gifts that are not only beautiful but also sustainable. The Coco Love is committed to eco-friendly packaging, using recyclable materials and minimizing waste. This makes their gift boxes a great choice for those who want to give meaningful gifts while also being kind to the planet.
A Thoughtful Gift for Any Recipient
A gift in a box from The Coco Love makes the perfect present for anyone, regardless of age or gender. Whether you’re shopping for a significant other, a family member, or a colleague, you can find a box that suits their preferences. Popular categories include:

Gifts for Him: Luxurious grooming products, personalized keepsakes, and artisanal treats.
Gifts for Kids: Fun, colorful items such as toys, snacks, and themed stationery.

Conclusion: Why Gifts in a Box Are the Ultimate Choice
Gifts in a box provide an elegant, thoughtful, and convenient way to celebrate any occasion. Their versatility, personalized touch, and the element of surprise make them a popular choice for modern gift-giving. When you choose a beautifully curated box from The Coco Love, you are giving more than just a gift — you are offering an unforgettable experience. From high-quality products to sustainable packaging, The Coco Love ensures that every box delivers joy, love, and memories.

Exploring Dubai: Top Tours to Experience the Best of the City
Tumblr media
It is a city that beautifully balances the traditional culture with modernity. Whether you like towering skyscrapers or age-old markets, it has something for everyone. Dubai Tours is the best sightseeing in Dubai. If you are going there, don't miss those places to visit. If you are a thrill junkie, culture buff, or just looking to sip champagne and unwind, Dubai provides tours for all requirements.
This blog has compiled the leading tours that must be considered to witness Dubai at its peak. So make sure to get the best deals on your international flight tickets by booking them early so that you can start with this beautiful destination.
Desert Safari Tours:
The desert safari is among Dubai tours. This is the first stop for anyone visiting the city - A desert safari where you can taste Dubai's vast deserts. It often features dune bashing, driving a 4×4 car across the desert - Something to experience, especially for the adrenalin junkies.
But that’s not all. Camel rides, sandboarding, and a proper Bedouin-style dinner under the stars are often found with almost any desert safari. You could even be treated to several cultural performances, such as belly dancing or Tanoura shows.
It is an all-in-one that provides you with the experience of what desert life in Dubai looks like. Plan, especially if you are flying in from another country. By booking your international flight tickets earlier, you have ample time to enjoy Dubai tours and not leave any stress in your mind.
Dubai City Tours:
For first-time visitors to the city, Dubai city tours are ideal if you want to visit some of the most iconic landmarks in a comfortable and air-conditioned bus. These tours typically begin with the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. Climb aboard an elevator to the observation deck that offers some of the best city views.
Next online could be the Dubai shopping center, one of many buying centers that can be greatest globally. However, there are more things to do in the city of course. The guided sightseeing tours of Dubai typically take in the much-photographed exotic Jumeirah Mosque and sail-shaped Burj al-Arab hotel, guarded by its equally arresting fleet of smoke-spewing water taxis.
These tours are so exclusive and offer complete insight into modern Dubai as well as the traditional side. Also, never forget to look for the multi-stop flight offers when you book international flight tickets. It could save you some money.
Dhow Cruise Tours:
Get a Dhow cruise tour for an easy ride. A Dhow is a traditional wooden boat that has been used in the Arabian Gulf for many, many years. These cruises happen in the evening, which can be a transitional experience after your day.
While you cruise past the Dubai Creek or marina, the glitzy view of this city will dazzle your senses. They also serve you dinner (and might have music on board). This is an awesome way of creating a pleasant Dubai feel you enjoy at night with the cool evening breeze on your face.
Couples and families find these Dubai tours exceedingly advantageous because they provide an exceptional experience. Book your international flight ticket as soon – to enter the over sky, otherwise if you want it, then make sure that you will not miss out and about a Dhow cruise.
Dubai Helicopter Tours:
A Dubai helicopter tour is an excellent choice if you want to go all out. It is an aerial tour, where one can view all the city landmarks from above. The helicopter ride takes you over Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, and the World Islands, giving you a view of everything that cannot be seen from ground level.
It is crazy awesome, something to try once, and perfect for a special occasion/luxe treat this evening. As these Helicopter tours are also expensive, you can book your international flight tickets with them so that they can give a merger discount.
Cultural Tours in Dubai:
During your stay, have a cultural tour to dive into Dubai's culture and history. Those Dubai tours usually head to the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, where you can see some of the city's earliest buildings.
You will be taken to the Dubai Museum in Al Fahidi Fort exposing you a great glimpse of historic city. A visit to the Jumeirah Mosque, one of the most beautiful mosques in Dubai, may also be included in your tour.
If you are a big history buff, cultural tours offer an insight into the heritage of Dubai. When planning a trip, remember these tours are very popular, so book your international flight tickets or cultural tour in advance.
Shopping Tours in Dubai:
Dubai arguably ranks as a shopper's paradise -if you are keen on seeing all its maze-like malls and some cool street markets, perhaps take a shopping tour. You will visit the Dubai Mall during most of these tours- it is one of the places to see in Dubai.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, though. You will also have an opportunity to visit the Gold Souk, a market where you can purchase beautiful gold jewelry. Another visit is the Spice Souk, where you will find ample spices, herbs, and much more traditional stuff.
Dubai Marina Yacht Tours:
A shopping tour is just what the doctor ordered to take home some minor crafts or revel in a bit of retail therapy. If you are flying in for some shopping, make sure that your international flight tickets allow you enough weight to bring home all your purchases.
Book an interactive yacht tour around Dubai Marina for a more lavish affair. These serene tours allow you to sit back on a private yacht cruising through the Marina by the coast. Here, you can revel in breathtaking views of many places, including the beacon-like Burj Al Arab
Yacht tours are a great way to celebrate something special, and more than many yacht touts have some form of food or drink included. This is the perfect one for those indulging in luxury Dubai. All the more reason to plan your international flight tickets just right for that yacht tour in case it is from a different country.
Conclusion:
Dubai, the city of wonders has something in store for every genre and kind of traveler. Culture, shopping, thrill, or relaxation you can all find on your local tour. Plan your long journey carefully and take care of the early booking of international flight tickets. Get packing and explore the best of Dubai with interesting tours. Your Dubai adventure awaits!

How to Choose the Perfect Singapore Cruise Package for Your Honeymoon
When thinking of cruising in Asia, Singapore remains the undisputed choice among couples and families.  Your honeymoon is going to be one of the most cherished moments with your significant other, so it can be your experience in Singapore cruises. However, given that there are a number of cruise liners offering their services, not all of them might suit your needs, timing, budget, and even your idea of your post-wedding romantic gateway. So it is important to do your research and choose a service accordingly. And don’t forget to skim through the following if you want to use some practical suggestions.
Define What You Look For
How do you envisage a perfect honeymoon? Why not ask yourself:
Do you want a cruise with exotic destinations or a cruise that offers embalming hospitality, absolute privacy, and a lot of chances to lounge?
How much are you ready to pay for?
Do you have a fancy for any particular cruise line? Or are you okay with a well-reputed company that tends to offer maximum value regarding entertainment, dining, and other amenities?
Do the destinations go with your common interests, which can be anything from culture, beaches, or shopping?
Check for the Itinerary
A number of Singapore Cruise Packages offer various itineraries that might sound tempting. But not all might offer what you are specifically looking for. You can choose by:
Deciding on how long your honeymoon cruise should be.
Check whether the proposed ports of call have the factors that fascinate both of you.
See if any specific cruise is offering themes that you like. They can be anything from gourmet experiences to wellness or romance.
What are the perks?
A number of cruise liners offer upgrades for free to the honeymooners. Or you can also enjoy romantic dinners for a rebated price or even free champagne! So never forget to enquire whether you can enjoy some perks in your package.
Accommodation Matters
Make sure to choose an accommodation that is comfortable, safe, and aligns with your budget and preferences. You can get some excellent deals by comparing and contrasting the services. While booking, you might want to look for extras that add to the luxury quotient.  Examples include whirlpool tubs, balconies, and butler service.
Entertainment and Activities
You can make your honeymoon kind of attractive by choosing a cruise that offers what you like. Look for cruises that offer music, live shows, karaoke, spa service, massages, a range of dining options, and anything that promotes romantic amenities.
Real Reviews Don’t Lie
Check online reviews to see what real-life honeymooners have to say about their experiences with specific cruise lines. Services like Cruisebay, for example, have garnered almost unanimously positive testimonials from couples. From honeymoon perks to travel insurance, as they mention, the company covers it all, giving complete peace of mind.
Popular Singapore Destinations
Some of the most reputed cruise lines cover exotic destinations like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and others. However, the teams can also customize the packages to your needs. Bookings for some of the best-known ships, including the Genting Dreams' and the Anthem of the Seas, are already on for the next year. So, if you want your cabins booked, then consider making it as soon as feasible.
