Christmas in Spain (Carlos Sainz)
First term is over so you go back home to spend Christmas with your family
Note: english is not my first language. Dad!driver always gets me fluffy (and let's pretend it's Christmas season for a bit - it was a bit tricky considering it's sunny and warm outside 😅)
Thank you so much to everyone who likes and reblogs, your feedback is appreciated 🤍 and I'm taking requests so if you have any ideas or concepts you want to share, feel free to do so as I'll try to get to them the best I can!
my masterlist
Tag list: @myloverjk-blog @hiireadstuff @c-losur3
"I hope you have fun holidays!", you waved to the kids as they got their backpacks and ran out the door, excited for the Christmas break.
Grades would be sent over e-mail and on the school platform and a parent-teacher meeting would happen in January, so for now all you had to do was tidy the classroom a bit so you wouldn't come back to a big mess.
"Do you need help?", one of the cleaning staff asked you as they pushed the cart along the corridor.
"No, I'm fine, thank you though! The classroom is not looking so bad - Mark thought it was funny to do the drawings I asked them to on the table, but I had him clean all of that out and I think we've finally won over that bug that was going around because the bin barely has any tissues!", you cheered like you had just won a championship.
"Just in time for them to go home and spend time with all the extended family and friends and catch some other bug, right?", the older lady joked and you laughed along.
"I tidied this the best I could so this one is hopefully quick for you to clean - thank you", you smiled as you grabbed your bags, making sure nothing important was left behind before leaving the room, "I hope your holidays are nice too, I'll see you in January!".
You got in the car and drove home, hoping to find a small chaos since Carlos said he would get everything ready for you to fly out to spend the holiday time with his family in Spain, volunteering to pick up the kids from school so he could get them ready to travel too.
"Mis amores, I'm home!", you gave them a quick shout before putting your things away in the office, having already packed them in separate bags so you could leave the backpack with the things you didn't need in the office and take only the things you needed already in the backpack you would fly with.
"Mama!", Clara was the first to greet you at the door, letting you pull her up so you could hug her, "I'm all dressed for the flight!", she smiled, twirling around in the tracksuit. Since the flight would arrive late, it would be best to have the kids dressed in comfortable clothes given that they would probably fall asleep and in the event that they would arrive at Carlos' parents already asleep, it wouldn't be too bad if they slept in them.
"I can see that, is papa getting the boys ready?", you kissed her cheek and walked up with her to the boys' bedroom.
Mateo was sitting in the play area, his fingers holding finger puppets while Carlos put Benjamín's sweater on, making you sit down with him.
"Why don't we show mama just how handsome you two look?", your husband said as he allowed him to go to the floor and join his brother in the cuddle you had him on.
"Mama! We're matching!", Benjamín said, leaving a splotchy kiss on your cheek and showing you the sweatshirt and sweatpants set all three kids had. When you spotted the Christmas themed Disney sets, you had to get them. While the boys had the dark blue version, Clara had the pine green one.
"You look really cute, guys! Are they comfy?", you wondered.
"Yes, feels nice, it's not itchy", Mateo offered and his siblings nodded before you pulled yourself up to your feet, Carlos helping you and landing you on his chest.
"Hello, beautiful", he greeted, kissing your lips after what felt like an eternity as he watched you and your kids. He would happily stare at the four of you forever, but a kiss was needed.
"Hey, amor", you spoke, "seems like you did just fine getting these three monkeys ready to go", you smiled.
"Don't be fooled by it - the boys were not happy they had to have a bath since they weren't going to bed yet, so there were some negotiations and some tantrums", Carlos chuckled.
"Mama, did you know we're flying tonight?", Clara asked, big brown eyes looking up at you as she pulled on your pants' leg.
"Yes, I did! We're going to see abuela and abuelo for Christmas!", you agreed, "which means I also have to go and put something comfortable on, pack what's left and then we can head out!", you clapped your hands.
Changing into an appropriate outfit, you put the last minute things in your luggage before heading down, Carlos already buckling the kids in their car seats while you fit the test of the carry-ons on the car boot.
Driving to the airport was a nice challenge since you wanted to keep the kids awake until you boarded the plane to make things easier and not change their sleep routine too much, meaning that you blasted every Bluey album you had, singing along loudly with the three children.
"Why can't I push the trolley?", Mateo asked as Carlos pushed the trolley with all the bags.
"Because it's to heavy for you, buddy - papa will do it and you hold my hands", you assured, stretching them out once your backpack was secured on, "Clara, stay close to papa, okay?", you warned.
It certainly wasn't the first time you were travelling all together - even though you didn't travel to races as much as you did when it was just you, the kids would often be in most of the European races and a few other ones outside of the continent too -, but your stress levels were still the usual.
"Relax, amor, I packed everything we needed, and if by chance something is missing, either my parents or my sisters will have it or we can go to the store and get it", Carlos tranquilized as you sat in the lounge, the kids happily eating some dry cereal from the bowl.
"I know, I think the school stress is still here somehow even though I've left everything ready and done with - I only have those reports to finish on monday", you sighed as your husband rubbed your shoulders.
"You don't have to worry, okay?", he assured, pulling you to rest on his chest until you got the flight call to board.
The flight itself was fine, the kids staying awake without making too much of a mess and entertaining themselves with their sticker books. As soon as you got to the car, though, everyone was out like a light before you left the airport parking zone.
"Welcome back!", Reyes was the first to greet you as Carlos' stopped the car
Putting his finger in front of lips so they wouldn't be too loud, Carlos spoke softly, "they fell asleep right away, if one of you could help us with them, please", he said as his father took Clara in his arms while you and your husband took each of the boys.
"I'll bring your luggage inside, dears", your moment in-law assured as you walked upstairs to the bedroom where the kids would sleep in.
Tucking the kids with some coos and shushes, you were able to come back to the kitchen and be met with some snacky bits Reyes prepared, "have something to eat and drink, I'm sure it will do you good", she smiled as you sat around the table, catching up for a bit before you retired to your respective bedrooms for the night.
.
"This year I decided I wanted to bake our own roscón", Reyes announced as she got the ingredients out of the cupboard, not missing the wide-eyed looks and scoff from her children and her husband, "why is it no one has faith in me to pull it off?", she reasoned.
"Mama - it's just, you've never done it", Ana reasoned as her siblings nodded.
"For you to be able to say you can do something, you have to do something you've never done before", the matriarch offered.
"I believe you can do it, abuela", Clara added, "mama always says that when we want to do something, we have to put our minds to it and work as much as we can for it!".
"See? At least someone thinks I can do it - you can be my sous-chef, cariño", she smiled at her granddaughter, "do you boys want to join us?".
"Abuelo said he has a new toy car that we can play with him and papa outside", Benjamín hugged her legs and Mateo followed and replied with "I know you'll do well, abuela".
"Off you go then - means I also get your mama all to myself because not only does she have a magic finger for baking - and I do need all the help I can get - and I won't have all of you stealing her from me", she giggled, tapping their noses and letting them go outside.
Reyes loved all her children the same, and her daughters were no exception to her love. When she found out her only son was enamoured by someone, she wanted to meet the young woman who had taken her boy's heart. Since then, you always felt included in their family activities and like you were her third daughter.
"How has school been?", she asked as you followed the recipe on the propped up iPad, measuring the ingredients and setting them apart.
"My little ones are finally able to do some independent work, they're confident enough to do it and that gives me more time to prepare different things to do with them - I've been really enjoying teaching this class", you smiled, helping Clara with the eggs to make sure no shells fell in the bowl.
"That's nice to hear - you know, Carlos used to worry a lot about you running yourself too much and overworking, especially now with three kids, so I can't hide the fact that I'm happy that it's becoming easier on you", Reyes stated.
"There are hard days - they will always be even if I work all day or no time at all -, but we've got a routine down with them, Carlos is spending as much time home as he can and so far, there hasn't so been much to worry about", you offered.
After kneading everyhting and waiting for the three hours the recipe recalled, you began decorating it.
"Abuela, does this one look good next to this one?", Clara wondered as she displayed the candied fruits on the dough.
"Yes, amor, it looks very delicious - we can only hope it will taste delicious as well!", Reyes kissed her cheek and mixed the sugar with water before sprinkling the mixture.
.
"Are we ready to start writing our letters?", Carlos Sr clapped his hands before joining the kids at the table, Mateo already holding the glue.
"Yes, we're ready, abuelo! Can you help me with my spelling, please?", Clara asked.
The boys were too young to write, so they chose to draw instead and your daughter still required some help.
"Tres Reyes Magos, my name is Clara Sainz, and this year I have been a good girl. I always did as I was told and I did really well in school too - Do you think that's good, abuelo?", your daughter wondered, wanting to know her grandfather's opinion on the start of her letter.
"That's good, cariño - now, you have to write to them what you'd like to get for a present", your father in-law praised, turning his attention back to the boys' letters, "have you two decided what you're going to ask for?".
"Yes! I want this game here", Mateo said as he showed his drawing.
"I really hope they'll bring me this book", Benjamín showed his best attempt of the cover his grandfather had seen you wrap the night before, smiling at the prospect.
"Let's hope they'll bring you those, then", the oldest Sainz in the room said.
"Are we going to watch the Cabalgata tomorrow?", Mateo asked, "I saw some photos from last year but I don't remember much from them", he admitted.
"Yes, if all goes well - we usually go every year, I don't see why we can't go and watch it again", Carlos Sr smiled.

Someday, we’ll all take comfort in the internet’s “dark corners”
Tumblr media
I'm on tour with my new, nationally bestselling novel The Bezzle! Catch me on SUNDAY (Mar 24) with LAURA POITRAS in NYC, then Anaheim, and beyond!
Tumblr media
Platforms decay. Tech bosses, unconstrained by competition; regulation; ad blockers and other adversarial interoperability; and their own workers, will inevitably hollow out their platforms, using ultraflexible digital technology to siphon value away from end users and business customers, leaving behind the bare minimum of value to keep all those users locked in:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/01/30/go-nuts-meine-kerle/#ich-bin-ein-bratapfel
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this thread to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/03/23/evacuate-the-platforms/#let-the-platforms-burn
Enshittification is the inevitable result of high switching costs. Tech bosses are keenly attuned to opportunities to lock in their customers and users, because the harder is to leave a platform, the worse the platform can treat you – the more value it can rob you of – without risking your departure.
But platform users are a heterogeneous, lumpy mass. Different groups of users have different switching costs. An adult Facebook user of long tenure has more reasons to stay than a younger user: they have more complex social lives, with nonoverlapping social circles from high school, college, various jobs, affinity groups, and family. They are more likely to have a chronic illness, or to be caring for someone with chronic illness, and to be a member of a social media support group they value highly. They are more likely to be connected to practical communities, like little league carpool rotas.
That's the terrible irony of platform decay: the more value you get from a platform, the more cost that platform can extract, a cost denominated in your wellbeing, enjoyment and dignity.
(At this point, someone will pipe up and say, "If you're not paying for the product, you're the product." It's nonsense. Dignity, respect and fairness aren't frequent flier program perks that tech companies dribble out to their best customers. Companies will happily treat their paying customers as "products" if they think those customers can't avoid other forms of rent-extraction, such as "attention rents")
https://pluralistic.net/2023/11/06/attention-rents/#consumer-welfare-queens
Now, consider the converse proposition: for younger users, platforms deliver less value. Younger users have less complex social lives on average relative to their parents and grandparents, which means that platforms have fewer ways to sink their hooks into those young users. Further: young users tend to want things that the platforms don't want them to have, right from the first day they sign up. In particular, young users often want to conduct their socializing out of eyesight and earshot of adults, especially parents, teachers, and other authority figures. This means that a typical younger user has both more reasons to leave a platform as well as fewer reasons to stay there.
Younger people have an additional reason to bail on platforms early and often: if your online and offline social circles strongly overlap – if you see the same people at school as you do in your feed, it's much easier to reassemble your (smaller, less complex) social circle on a new platform.
And so: on average, young people like platforms less, hate them more, and have both less to lose and more to gain by leaving one platform for another. Sure, some young people are also burning with youth's neophilia. But even without that neophilia, young people are among the first to go when tech bosses start to ratchet up the enshittification.
Beyond young people, there are others who tend to jump ship early, like sex-workers:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/06/21/early-adopters/#sex-tech
Sex-workers' technology changes are only incidentally the result of some novelty-seeking impulse. The real reason to change platforms if you're a sex-worker is that the platforms are either absolutely hostile to sex-workers, or profoundly indifferent to the suffering their policy changes rain down upon them.
The same is broadly true of other disfavored groups, including those with out-of-mainstream political ideologies. Some of these groups hold progressive views, others are out-and-out Nazis, but all of them chafe at the platforms' policies at the best of times, and are far more ready to jump ship when the platforms tighten the noose on all their users.
This is where "dark corners" come in. The worst people on the internet have relocated to its so-called dark corners – privately hosted servers, groupchats, message-boards, etc. Some of these are notorious: Kiwi Farms, 4chan, 8kun, sprawling Telegram groupchats. Others only breach when they are implicated in waves of unthinkably cruel and grotesque crimes:
https://www.wired.com/story/764-com-child-predator-network/
The answer to crimes committed in the internet's dark corners is the same as for crimes committed anywhere: catch the criminals, prosecute the crimes. But a distressing number of well-meaning people observe the nexus between dark corners and the crimes that fester there, and conclude that the problem is with the dark corners, themselves.
These people observe that social media platforms like Facebook, and intermediaries like Cloudflare, DNS providers, and domain registrars constitute a "nexus of control" – chokepoints that trap the online lives of billions of people – and conclude that these gigantic corporations can and should be made "responsible" for their users:
https://www.techdirt.com/2020/06/23/hello-youve-been-referred-here-because-youre-wrong-about-section-230-communications-decency-act/
From there, it's a short leap to conclude that anyone who isn't in a position to be controlled by these too big to jail, too big to fail, relentlessly enshittifying corporations must be pushed into their demesne.
This is a deal with the devil. In the name of preventing small groups of terrible people from gathering in private, beyond the control of the world's insufferable and cruel tech barons, we risk dooming everyone else to being permanently within those unworthy billionaires' thumbs.
This is why people like Mark Zuckerberg are so eager to see an increase in "intermediary liability" rules like Section 230. Zuckerberg's greatest fear isn't having to spend more on moderators or algorithms that suppress controversial subjects:
https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/03/instagram-users-outraged-by-app-limiting-political-content-ahead-of-elections/
The thing he fears the most is losing control over his users. That's why he bought Instagram: to recapture the young users who were fleeing his mismanaged, enshittified platform in droves:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/09/03/big-tech-cant-stop-telling-on-itself/
A legal mandate for Zuckerberg to police his users is a legal requirement that he surveil and control those users. It's fundamentally incompatible with the new drive in competition circles to force Zuckerberg and his fellow tech barons to offer gateways that make it easier to escape their grasp, by allowing users to depart Facebook and continue to socialize with the users who stay behind:
https://www.eff.org/interoperablefacebook
Remember: the more locked-in a platform user is, the harder that platform will squeeze that user, safe in the knowledge that the cost of leaving is higher than the cost of staying and tolerating the platform's abuse.
This is the problem with "feudal security" – the warlord who lures you into his castle fortress with the promise of protection from external threats is, in reality, operating a prison where no one can protect you from him:
https://pluralistic.net/2021/06/08/leona-helmsley-was-a-pioneer/#manorialism
Rather than fighting to abolish dark corners because only the worst people on the internet use them today, we should be normalizing dark corners, making it easier for every kind of user to find a cozy nook that is shaded from the baleful glare of Zuck and his fellow, eminently guillotineable tech warlords:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/01/15/normalize-dark-corners/
Enshittification is relentless. The collapse of the restraints that penalized tech companies who abused their users – competition, regulation, interoperability and their own workers' consciences – has inculcated every tech boss with an incurable enshittification imperative.
Efforts to make the platforms safer for their users can only take us so far. Fundamentally, these vast, centralized systems that vest authority with flawed and mediocre and frail human dictators (who fancy themselves noble, brilliant and infallible) will never be safe for human habitation. Rather than focusing on improving the platforms, we should be evacuating them:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/07/09/let-the-platforms-burn/
Online communities that control their own moderation policies won't always get it right. But there is a whole host of difficult moderation calls that can never be adequately handled by outsiders overseeing vast, sprawling platforms. Distinguishing friendly banter from harassment requires the context that only an insider can hope to possess.
We all deserve dark corners where we stand a chance of finding well-managed communities that can deliver the value that keeps us stuck to our decaying giant platforms. Eventually, the enshittification will chase every user off these platforms – not just kids or sex-workers or political radicals. When that happens, it sure would be nice if everyone could set up in a dark corner of their own.

yeah so if you genuinely don't know how to write an email instead of using chatgpt and getting something that 1: has a chance to just fucking suck (and potentially be noticeably AI) and 2: uses stolen content, ruins the environment and indicates to the gen-AI companies that you want more gen-AI bullshit that will steal things and ruin the environment, you can look up how to write an email or look up email examples. here's a website, here's another, here's the wikihow page (it's a bit shit but it does its job), here's a good one for formal emails, and here's an email I sent today (more examples under the cut):
Tumblr media
something that's really annoying right now is that most websites are desperately trying to sell you their cool funky AI friend that can write the email for you, and look at me: you have to tell it to go fuck itself (in your head, don't use it). this isn't about you being a moron for not being about to write an email, I struggled with it for a while too, I still do sometimes, writing emails notoriously sucks. gen-AI sucks more.
also, this might not be the case for everyone, but please at least try to learn how to write the email before using chatgpt, it will help you forever. if you have a question about emails or if you're not sure how to write one specific email, you can send an ask: I'm not all-knowing but I'll do my best to help.
I can mostly help for college/high school levels and I am studying in a French school, so the codes may not be exactly the same, but I am in fact being taught by English speakers, sometimes native ones.
I'll give more general advice at the end, but here are a few examples of emails I would send.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If there's even a small chance of your teacher not recognizing you, write at the top something like "I am Name Last name, I am in your X-Y-Z class on Mondays from 8AM to 9AM". This isn't too useful in high school because your teachers likely know you, but in college your teachers might not. This will give them context.
Do your best to avoid typos or grammar errors. Reread your email, especially if the teacher is a language teacher.
Be polite, always, unless the teacher explicitly specified they don't care.
You do not need to beg for anything, don't debase yourself, and if a teacher makes you debase yourself, report them. You shouldn't have to beg for something that you ask for in an email. (so no more than one please per email, and avoid this one please if possible).
If it's possible and safe for you, prefer discussing important matters IRL.
Remember who you're talking to. Is the teacher strict or chill? Younger or older? Are they a white abled man or a Black disabled woman? Are they very into "respect the teacher!!" or do they put themselves at your level? Are you a 15 y/o high school student or a 20 something college student? Is this teacher familiar with you? Have they been understanding in the past? etc.
Generally, despite all my warnings above, a simple polite email will be fine with most teachers. If you're not sure how to identify the above possibilities or how to alter your emails depending on them, just write a formal, polite email (like seen above).
Some universities have online courses that teach you how to write emails. If there is a web-type course in your university and you can take it, take it.
Mine has one. I hate it. They defined a tweet as a "post on a blogging platform". I have to complete it or I don't pass. It still has a good tutorial for writing emails. You are lucky in the sense that emails are like the basic thing that even the boomer teachers know how to do (even if they don't like doing it), so there are a lot of resources for people who haven't written emails yet and need to learn.
If possible, ask your teacher at the start of the year what email to contact them with - if you're lucky, they'll say things about what kinds of emails they want.
If you're lucky still, someone else will send a shit email and the teacher will make a point during the class to remind how to write a proper email.
I put "Dear name" everywhere, but if it's not an extremely formal setting, some teachers will be fine with a "Hello". If you're not sure of the receiver's gender, use their title (Dr. etc).
For the extension: sometimes teachers aren't allowed to give you an extension or are assholes who don't want to give you an extension. In that case, don't bother writing another email (again: don't beg. + it will make them dislike you which you don't want).
This works more in work settings, but I read once that it's good to say "I will be taking a day off" rather than "May I take a day off/is it possible to take a day off". Just say that it's going to happen.
Know your rights. I can't know them for you. Figure out what the teacher can and cannot do through legal documents on your school's website or whatever. Know your rights depending on your state or country.
If you have a bad memory and don't want to have to look up how to write an email everytime, open your notes app or your blocknote or any preferred place to take notes and write down the important. I'd advise to note common greetings, subjects, opening and closing lines. Same for your teachers, if you need to remember which one is a bitch and which one is chill, write their name down with a description.

How I Think Various Members of the Mysterious Benedict Society (show) Would Use Social Media (in no particular order)
Miss. Perumal: makes Instagram reels about being a homeschooling mother (in a good way) and shares education tips with other parents and teachers.
Jackson and Jillson: Do dance routines together on TikTok. The entire comment section is speculating on whether they are dating or siblings. They never clarify because the speculation keeps their account popular.
Sticky: He has the most professional looking LinkedIn you could possibly imagine and also has membership on those fancy sites where professors post their research.
Reynie: Got a Facebook and rarely uses it because he spends most of his time on Goodreads where he has hundreds of followers because he gives the best book recommendations.
Kate: Went viral for doing circus tricks on TikTok (as she should).
Constance: Has a twitter she uses exclusively to bully Curtain. Has another twitter she uses to pretend to be Curtain’s friend to gain his trust and learn his secrets in order to manipulate him. She also has a tumblr where she posts poetry but like all good tumblr users, no one knows it’s her.
SQ: Has an art Instagram account that’s super popular. Follows a ton of psychology accounts about toxic parenting and boundary setting.
Jeffers: Somehow ended up on a random side of TikTok that has nothing to do with him or he got himself cancelled on accident.
Dr. Garrison: Sends Curtain anonymous hate and follows Sticky on LinkedIn under a fake name. Spends most of her time on academic platforms updating her research portfolio.
Number Two: became mutuals with SQ because they both follow the same psychology accounts about boundary setting and toxic parenting. They don’t know who each other is, so neither understands the implications of this.
Rhonda: runs a positivity account and posts stuff like “you’re doing amazing!” and “take some time to be grateful today!”. Everyone knows her as “that nice lady from the internet!”
Martina: Bullies people online through anon accounts until she gets some therapy and turns it around and starts live blogging tetherball matches instead.
Nicholas: he spends a lot of time on Goodreads and has a TikTok where he reviews books. He also keeps trying to DM Nathaniel on various social media platforms. Nathaniel leaves hate comments under Nicholas’ videos, but Nicholas never blocks him because he hopes his brother will keep commenting (and he views this as a healthier way for Nathaniel to express his anger. More social media hate, less time taking over the world. Plus Constance bullies him right back, so it’s even).
Milligan: films videos and makes posts about woodworking, grilling, and wilderness survival because these are his hobbies. People follow him for that, and then one day Kate is in one of his videos and the entire comment section is “WAIT THIS GUY IS THE VIRAL CIRCUS GIRL’S DAD??”
Nathaniel Benedict/LD Curtain: has tons of old accounts because he’s been cancelled so many times. He made an account to promote the Institute that he never showed his face on and one to promote his happiness cult that he later deleted. He also made a secret account under a fake name that he uses to follow Nicholas and comment on his posts to earn his trust. Nathaniel smugly considers this high level spy work that Nicholas is none the wiser to, but he mainly uses the account because he misses Nicholas, and he doesn’t get a ton of intelligence from it. Meanwhile, Nicholas thinks of this account as a mutual and online friend that happens to remind him of his brother that he really misses.

Tbh being in this fandom helped me to recover my love for drawing?
I've always loved to draw, since early childhood, and I've always picked bright colors and put too much thought and detail into drawings! Like, I wasn't yet six years old and my ways to draw were already showing xD
Things started to go sour since maybe 14, because it was when teachers noticed my talent and started to exploit it to make me draw shit for stupid school events -_- It was also when I started to draw digitally, so, posting my art online. It became an obligation I was not even compensated for irl and a strong stress of "getting audience" and "improvement" online. And it was a very long timeframe of drawing with how my art will be received in mind. I think I've temporarily lost originality as an artist when I've got on Tumblr, even. Because I tried to chameleon to ideas, trends and styles of everyone else. It's been YEARS.
But joining this fandom forced me to abandon my fixation on reception. I've never gotten my art side-eyed and disliked so much in my whole life. I've heard pearls like "You don't have a talent (as an artist) and it is cringe that you say you do", "I don't like how you draw people", "I think you should focus on writing, you are way better at it than at visual art", "Only people who can't draw would enjoy your art" - and none of these came from haters! A lot of ignoring, a lot of visible and obvious irritation from a fan of [character] because I've drawn them "ugly", pity liking because they don't like my art but like me as a person, nothing good to say about my art besides "well you've put a lot of effort in" etc. It just became obvious that my art doesn't fit in Soulsborne fandom. Everyone here are talented, studied artists with academical skill. When they aren't, their style is appealing, simple, anime-ish and pleasing for the eyes. And then there is me lol
The thing is, whereas I had multiple episodes of wanting to delete all my fanart from socials, wanting to give up on art altogether, starting to hate my art myself because others hated it and avoiding looking at other artists' blogs to not face the humiliation of how much more love they get compared to me... I waded through it.
I came out of it a stronger person, that learned to love drawing only and ONLY for the heck of it. I've noticed that I really just like drawing, because it's fun. Because I want to see some drawing, not because someone else might. I was forced to grow up, except.. I wasn't? I could have given up on art like I "wanted" to! I knew some artists in Soulsborne, mostly 16-17 but not only, who gave up on drawing (at least for this fandom) or straight up abandoned their blogs because of facing similar snobbery regarding their art styles! They were similarly very detailed and "inconvenient", to think back on it. 🤔 But I am here, right? I didn't even do the bare minimum of trying to "fix" my art style to be more "appealing", I just continued drawing the way I like to.. and tbh, the way I used to love drawing back in childhood returned. Long ago before internet, "content", "platform", "relevance" and all this stupid shit that defeats the point. I am lucky to get 30 notes on fully colored fully detalized drawing, 20 of which are friends or mutuals, but I just stopped caring? I am drawing for the heck of it, so many years later, again?
In general, guys, I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you are dealing with ignoring, snobbery, taunting or all at once as an artist, I really recommend you to endure through it and not give up. Eventually you will naturally become strong and self-sufficient! The best way to learn to not rely on anyone else's approval is to actually not be given this approval but continue. The joy of enjoying the drawing regardless of whether your art is liked by others is a wealth much bigger than popularity

Hi Tumblr, What's Up?
Hello Tumblr! Can you believe I have existed in fandom spaces for this long and have never been on this platform? It seems that Tumblr is fandom’s MVP but I just never made the trek over this way – anyways, I’m here now. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because I told you about it on one of the other social media platforms and you probably at least know that I’ve very recently packed up my life and moved to China! I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to document my experiences here, and although we live in a visual era, I’m just not interested in being in front of a camera. I love to write and want to talk about my journey, so a blog seems like the best fit for me.
So, why China? Despite the fandom spaces that I occupy, my decision to move to China had absolutely nothing to do with Zhang Yixing or Wang Yibo. When people ask me why I made this change, I jokingly tell them it was an act of sheer desperation, but really, although I’ve always been joking when I’ve said that, it’s not too far from the truth. If you’re interested in learning why I moved to China and hearing about my experiences here, I hope you’ll stick around.
Desperate Times, Desperate Measures
If you don’t know, I’m Australian but I have spent the majority of the last 14 years living and teaching in the United States. I worked in Los Angeles for 11 years and then in New York City for another 2 before I packed myself and my cat up and went back to Australia. I left the United States for three main reasons – all of which were related to my job. In no particular order, because they were all as problematic for me as each other, I left because of low teacher pay, egregious student behaviour, and the insanely high workload. In short, I was b u r n e d o u t. A lot of Western countries are experiencing a teacher shortage right now, and America is definitely leading the charge. There is a reason why people are fleeing the profession, and most of them are rooted the same reasons that I left the country.
I went back to Australia naively thinking that work was going to be better there. I grew up there and went to school there, and I completed my teacher training in Australia.  When I went through my university degree and prac assignments in Victoria, the job was definitely not this. So I returned  home with rose-coloured glasses thinking that teaching would be far superior in Australia than the experiences I was having in the United States. Boy, was I ever wrong! While the kids in Australia don’t have guns like they do in the U.S., their attitudes towards education and teachers in general is very reminiscent of what is going on in the U.S, and schools are still places of violence and conflict. I can’t speak for the private system, but all my friends in the public system say the same thing. And honestly, teacher workload in Australia is not lesser than that of the U.S., so I found myself – again - completely stressed out all the time, despite making this huge change that was supposed to better my life. That coupled with the outrageous cost of living in Australia (my god things got really expensive while I was living abroad) prompted a pervasive idea that just would not stop taunting me. The voice inside me kept saying I can’t do this anymore.
And so, it became clear that I had a choice to make: either stop teaching altogether or find somewhere to teach that isn’t going to break me. I did not initially consider China but as I continued to research my options, all roads always lead right here – The People’s Republic of China.
And, to cut a very long story (which I will elaborate on in other posts) short, here I am!
Right Here, Right Now
I’ve been here for 38 days now and it’s been the mother of all whirlwinds, for sure. I had been to China twice before on holidays (one of those holidays was to scope out my city and my school) so it wasn’t like I was coming into the country blind, like so many other foreigners do, but even so, it’s been hard. Very hard. Maybe one of the hardest things I’ve ever done? Probably.
I don’t speak the language very well, despite all the lessons I’ve been taking. Man, nothing tests your skills like absolute immersion and being surrounded by people who don’t speak a lick of your native language. I’m an articulate, educated person and here I’m reduced to a blubbering mess who stumbles and fumbles over sentence fragments, and fragments of fragments! The language is going to take time. A lot of time.
I’ve had many low points, and there were a few days a couple of weeks ago when I was legitimately considering throwing in the towel and going home. But, I am still here, so obviously I didn’t do that. And I’m glad I didn’t because it’s getting easier and all the things I love about China are starting to overshadow all the hard things that make me feel like living here is impossible.
My cat is arriving from Australia on October 11 so we’re here for the longer haul after that. I can’t take him back to Australia from China (I’ll make a post about that later) so we either stay till he dies, or we exit and live in another country for a year before returning home. Don’t worry, I have an exit strategy planned if I need it, I just don’t want to need it, if you get me.
I’ll be blogging about teaching here, my fandom experiences (of which, I’ve already been lucky enough to have some of), travel, and general thoughts and insights on what it’s like to live in China as a foreigner.
I hope you stick around because this place is crazy and I’ve got so much to tell you all. If you’ve got questions, I’m happy to answer them. I'm new to this Tumblr thing so be kind and patient with me while I work it all out!
Till next time, peace.

Note
do you have any advice for someone who wants to start up a writing blog? specifically for how to make nice borders or graphics on posts like writers seem to do these days? and anything else in general that pops into your head, i'll appreciate anything and everything <3
I will try my best to put some good advice into words - a lot of the things I do are second nature to me, so hopefully I can actually remember to write them down. So -
Advice For Starting A Writing Blog On Tumblr
My biggest piece of advice ever (and this is for fanfiction in general, not just for Tumblr) - write what you want to write. Write ideas you are passionate about - write for yourself.
If you are concerned about following trends and concerned only about writing requests or writing fics for other people, then you will get creative burnout very quickly and you will come to resent writing as a whole.
If you are starting a writing blog to be popular and get a lot of notes, and you think the way to do that is through writing popular, trendy fanfiction - then you're doing it for the wrong reasons (and again, creative burnout will get to you).
If you're starting a blog because you have a passion for certain fictional characters, you see a niche in the fandom that you want to fill, and you want to make a few good, close friends along the way - then be prepared to put some work in, and it will massively pay off and be very creatively satisfying. And it's likely that the fics you write will be intensely fond to you forever, and those friends will be yours for life.
Writing fanfiction is not always easy, and posting it for others to see it can be a very emotionally raw experience - but seeing ideas that you are passionate about come to life and discussing those ideas with others is a truly amazing experience. And it's very worth it.
As far as covers/graphics - I am not at all savvy with photoshop (due to having to use it in school and failing, and having a really shitty teacher in the process, I actually despise it) so I use the most simple caveman techniques to make my covers.
I find my pictures on Pinterest (or, I find a youtube video with a scene from the original show in order to screenshot my subject) and then I upload those pictures into a word doc in order to position them how I want them, and then I screenshot the pictures in that doc in order to get multiple pictures into one cover together. Some people will do the 3-panel format that I do, but they will upload the 3 pictures to Tumblr individually and use Tumblr's photo feature to stack the pictures side by side - but I don't like this, because sometimes Tumblr will fuck up the formatting and put the pictures end to end instead of side by side when you hit upload (and if the pictures have different dimensions, they don't always look good together). The way I do it guarantees no fuck ups.
After I have all the pictures in one, I then use editing tools in the photo program that was pre-installed on my computer in order to edit it how I like. This includes basic filters, trimming the edges, lighting, saturation, adding a black and white filter if I want one - very basic stuff. I have discovered that you can do a lot with very little skill. And I love how my covers turn out using this method. You don't need photoshop in order to make nice covers for fics.
I don't typically use dividers/boarders on my actual fics, but I do use them for things like a masterlist - and most of my boarders are just pictures from pinterest that I trim so that are more narrow like boarders. Everything I do is just very basic stuff that achieves a pretty aesthetic in the end.
I don't know if you're new to Tumblr? If you are, then there are some things you need to know. I know there are a lot of people who are new to using Tumblr as a platform. Because there are a lot of things that are unique to Tumblr that are very second nature to me that I think newbies need to know.
So I am just gonna go over those things quickly, and if you (or anybody else reading this) wants to know about those things in greater detail later, then I can discuss them more if you simply ask.
Tumblr used to be a lot different in its functionality, but since the pandemic in 2020, where there was a large flood of mobile only users, the staff have catered the website to mobile only users. But imo, there are a lot of desktop only features that are very, very useful - especially to writers. If you don't have a laptop or a desktop computer, you don't really have to worry about this kind of stuff, but some of it will be useful to you.
Tumblr has an archiving system - but you need to turn on your blog's archive in order to use it. It's under Blog Settings, and you toggle the button called Enable Custom Theme - this does not cost you any money. What this does do, is that it archives your blog on the internet. (Do this for the blog that you intend to be your writing blog - if it's a sideblog, do it there, not on your main blog.) So now, in addition to the 'username' address that Tumblr gave you when you made the account or made the blog (tumblr.com/yourusername) you now have a custom blog address (yourusername.tumblr.com) - and using that url, you can go to the archive - which would be yourusername.tumblr.com/archive
This makes it much, much, easier to find your posts than the inefficient search function - so every single post you have ever made will be right in front of your eyes, and you can also search for posts by specific tags (which is why I also recommend using tags you will remember/custom tags). Again - you will never lose posts and posts are much easier to find than using the search function.
Even if you don't use the desktop version of Tumblr ever, this is still useful and relevant to you, because eventually when your blog has 100s of posts, if you are looking for that one pesky post that you can't find, using the desktop version of Tumblr in a mobile browser and going to your archive will help you find it infinitely faster.
After you enable the custom theme/custom url, you can install a more custom theme onto your blog - I recommend using the one that I have on my blog, or you can go to Tumblr's Theme Garden (you can get there by googling it) and look for writer friendly themes. Or you can browse themes by using the paint pallette icon in the right upper hand corner on the desktop version of your blog. When doing this, you can also change the colours, the pictures in your theme, and the font size - which is something I find particularly helpful, because I have bad eyes, and I usually change the size from 11 to 13 or 14.
Use a readmore on long posts. A readmore (also known as a 'cut') is a tool used to hide long paragraphs of text so that people have to click through in order to read more of it. This is essential to writing blogs. People don't want to scroll through long walls of text on their dashboard or in tags, and it's good for smut, so that people have to consent in order to read smut, and it makes people more likely reblog fics if your posts are shortened. So just upload the fic as you want it to be, and then after the first paragraph (or after the summary, that's usually where I do it) - put a readmore so that your fic is properly trimmed.
To put a readmore on posts - the readmore button is beside the poll button (I think on mobile and desktop, right now I'm on the desktop version) - you have to hit new paragraph and be on a clean line in order for it to work, and once you hit the button, a grey jagged line will appear, showing you where the work cuts off in order for you to know that you have been successful. I have used a readmore on this post - so you have seen that in a published post, it appears as a blue link that says 'keep reading', and then you click through to read the rest of what someone has written. You can put it literally anywhere (sometimes people put them over one half a joke, so clicking through is like being told the punchline) - but it is kinder/common courtesy to put them more toward the top so that posts are shorter.
DO NOT WRITE IN TUMBLR.
Whenever I see people saying that they use Tumblr as their docs and that their drafts are all drafts of their writing - I get stressed the fuck out. Sometimes I write random little blurbs in Tumblr, but please, listen to someone who has had ten years of experience with this hellsite - do not write in Tumblr unless you are prepared to lose all of your work. Use any other type of document services other than Tumblr, and then copy-paste your work into Tumblr later. And always read through your work to make sure that it's formatted how you want after you have pasted it into Tumblr.
Also - you should always cross-post. Post your writing on at least one other platform. I highly, highly reccomend using AO3 to cross-post your writing, and I don't know much about Wattpad (I know I don't like it lmao) - but if it's something you like using, you can post your writing there too. Posting your writing on AO3 in addition to Tumblr means that you will have a second copy of it if your Tumblr account gets deleted, which is a huge bonus - and if there are people who only use AO3, then they can read your writing too.
Use appropriate tags, but don't be afraid to 'tag spam' - it is annoying and inappropriate to tag a fic with a wrong character if they aren't the main interest (for example, tagging a fic as Derek Morgan x Reader when the real main love interest is Spencer Reid) - so don't do that. It's tacky and likely to get you blocked.
However, use every single tag that is relevant to your character, especially when you are starting out. I am tired and older and lazy now, and I don't necessarily care if a lot of people see my work or not, so when I am posting a fic, I don't always use a lot of tags. But when you are starting out - use as many tags as possible. Before you gain followers, tags are the #1 way that people will see your fics. So use as many as you can - tag the relevant fandom, and use every variation of the love interest's name. Plus, some fandoms use the term 'x reader' and some use the term 'x you', along with other things like 'x Y/N' or saying '(character name) fanfiction', '(character name) imagine' - so use every variation of those tags too.
Write a good warnings list for your fic. This is one that a lot of people ignore, but it is highly appreciated. For a while now, I have been meaning to make a specific post about how to make a good warnings list for fics - so many people forget that warnings are not just about telling people about the potential sexual content of your fic (and in the realm of sexual content, so many people are way too fucking vague with their sexual warnings because they think that 'vanilla' p in v sex is not worth warning others of, so they say 'this fic doesn't have any warnings' - as if kinky sex should be the only thing described in detail in the warnings when that is not the case).
Warnings are not just about sex, they are about foretelling people of any content in your fic that could be potentially triggering - triggering to phobias, addictions, anxiety, discomfort, etc. This includes alcohol (in any amount), characters being drunk, characters consuming drugs (prescription or not), slurs, harassing words, violence, common phobias - like spiders, needles, heights, clowns, claustrophobia, etc. and many other things. I am always thanked for how detailed the warnings in my fics are, and I think it should be common practice.
It is my biggest opinion about fanfiction that people should never be banned from writing controversial or dark content, but readers should always be fully informed about what they are going to read so that they can fully consent before reading. As a writer, you are never a bad person for forgetting or leaving out warnings, but it is always a basic kindness to your readers to make your warnings as detailed as possible, so that your readers are as informed as possible.
Use hyperlinks when making a masterlist - again, this is a Tumblr thing and I can explain it more in detail in a different post (if someone wants, maybe I can make a post about how to make a masterlist). A lot of Tumblr writers make Masterlists because Tumblr's search system is very shitty and difficult to use, and it's polite to compile all of your work for your readers - and it makes people more likely to read your older fics if they can find those fics easier. I have seen some people using Tumblr's copy/paste link system, and it's bulky and ugly (if you are someone who is concerned about the aesthetics of fanfic covers, then you are gonna want to use hyperlinks) - using the Hyperlink feature is way prettier, but it is not automatic, it is something you have to put in a little extra work in order to do.
Also, a mobile theme is different from the desktop theme I discussed earlier. If you're new to Tumblr, this is important - on the app, there is that same little paint palette icon when you click on your profile, and when you use the paint palette, you can change your icon, your header photo, and the colours of your theme - and you should do this 1) because it will appeal to people who click on your blog and 2) it will make you seem less like a bot so people don't block you
And you're gonna need a pinned post. This is a relatively new thing on Tumblr - people have been using pinned posts more than the bio section. (It's much easier to put important links in this section.) You can put your name and your age in your bio section (don't get be started on the whole 'ageless blogs will be blocked thing', and minors having the word 'minor' in their bio as pedophile bait) - and then in the pinned post, put a little bit about yourself, and then you can put a link to your masterlist when you make it.
I know (if you're new to tumblr) - all of this sounds very complicated, but I am waaaaaaay open to answering more questions and explaining these concepts further in detail. But if I tried to explain all this stuff in detail in one post, that post would take me like 6 hours to write, and I am a bit tired lmao

Upskirt ch6
Marvel | Starker
Someone has been taking pictures up Peter's skirt when he's not looking and poor Peter has found their blog.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
Warnings and tags below
Warnings and tags: femboy!Peter, public sex, teacher/student, romnoncon, spanking, threesome, thigh fucking, face fucking
The weekend dragged on for much too long. Peter did his best to use his free time to get caught up on homework and studying, but he just kept thinking about his teacher. He checked the blog a million times a day, but there were no new pictures. He half expected there to be one of him with Tony's cum on his face. He'd definitely taken one. Peter supposed it would get them both into trouble if someone recognized his face. Covering your student in cum was definitely a firing offense if not a crime.
He was up early Monday morning. He told his aunt he would most likely be late again before running out the door. His heart raced all the way down the street and onto the subway platform. It was the usual morning crowd full of barely awake zombie faces. Everyone sipped coffee or scrolled on their phones. The train pulled up and they squeezed their way on. Peter didn't see Mr. Stark anywhere, but he rarely did. Still he was disappointed. He need it.
The subway began to move along and that's when Peter spotted Mr. Stark standing a few spots ahead. His teacher looked back and met his eye. He shot him a wink that he felt in his groin. He didn't seem interested in pushing his way through to Peter. It was even worse to have seen him and still not get what he wanted, but maybe he could volunteer to stay after to help 'grade homework'.
Peter jumped as someone touched him. A curious hand fondled his ass through his skirt. He stared at the back of his teacher's head across the train. Did he know? Was that why he looked back at him?
When he didn't pull away, that hand grew bolder just as Mr. Stark once had. It slipped under his skirt and calloused knuckles ran over the curve of his ass where it stuck out the bottom of his panties. Peter licked his lips. He wanted him to touch him he needed it. Whoever this person was, they didn't seem to have the same reservations Mr. Stark had started with. They reached between his legs, forcing him to shift his feet apart, and palmed his cock rubbing and squeezing as if he were some sort of toy.
They played with him for a while, getting him fully hard and embarrassingly close, before stopping. Their hands traced his waist up to his chest and found his nipples under his shirt. His mouth dropped open, but he choked back the squeal that almost escaped. They pinched and tugged and it had Peter humping the air and desperate.
Mr. Stark looked back and watched him for a moment with amusement. He'd definitely set this up, whoever it was. Peter swallowed. Mr. Rogers? Mr. Stark had promised to call him after their talk about how fuckable he was. He was so rough and Mr. Stark was so mean and if the two of them didn't give him the nastiest spit roasting possible he would going to simply die.
As the train reached its stop, the hands went away. Peter stood, panting, nipples hard under his shirt and cock aching in his panties. When it came time to move, he was stuck until the person behind him nudged him forward.
He didn't look back. Not until he reached the front of the school. Sure enough, Mr. Stark was walking and talking with Mr. Rogers. They spotted him and Mr. Stark grinned while Mr. Rogers looked hungry. Peter almost wanted to laugh. If Mr. Stark wasn't going to fuck him, Mr. Rogers definitely would. He looked like he wanted to throw him down on the sidewalk and fuck him like a dog.
Now he had two classes that he could barely survive. Mr. Roger's class was early in the morning. The man acted like he didn't know Peter existed, but Peter's nipples were still hard under his shirt from where he'd touched him. Or maybe they'd hardened up when he came into the room. He wasn't sure. He couldn't think straight. Mr. Stark's class wasn't any better. He didn't take in a word being said. He was busy remembering the taste of his cock.
At the end of the day, he ran back to Mr. Stark's room. The room was empty. Peter stood beside, Mr. Stark's desk. It was just the same old desk that had always been there, but now looking at it just made him horny.
The classroom door closed. Peter jumped, quickly turning around. Mr. Rogers stood by the door with his arms crossed over his chest.
"How long have you been letting strangers molest you in public?" he asked. He didn't hide the disgust his voice. As if he wasn't the one who had done the 'molesting'. Peter's face burned. He didn't know how to answer that, but it sure seemed like the man expected an answer.
"I uh..."
His eyebrows raised. His arms dropped. He marched across the room with heavy steps backing Peter into the desk. His hand gripped his chin. "You are a little slut aren't you? I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. Thought you were sweet, but you're not are you?"
Peter whimpered. He seemed so angry. Like Peter's lack of morals was a personal affront. He wanted to argue that the teacher was really no better, but he couldn't find his voice. Mr. Roger's grabbed his wrist and Peter flinched. He brought it to his crotch and pressed Peter's palm against his erection.
"That's what you do to the grown men who see you bouncing around like somebody's toy. You've got us all walking around thinking the most disgusting thoughts about you and you love it don't you?" He let go of Peter's wrist. His knuckles trailed up his thigh and under his skirt. "Well... it's my job to teach you after all."
He let go of Peter's chin to turn him around. He pushed down on his back, bending him over the desk. His arm knocked over Mr. Stark's pens and they rolled across the floor. One hand held the back of his neck. He shivered at the sound of a belt coming undone.
Finally.
He was so ready for it. He was starving. Mr. Rogers grabbed the bottom of his skirt and flipped it up around his waist, but rather than a hand pulling down his panties he felt the cool leather of the man's belt touching his thigh.
Peter jumped as he heard the door click. The hand on his neck kept him from moving.
"Started without me? And I invited you to my party," Mr. Stark said.
"I'm just doing my civic duty and teaching the youth."
"He's a really slow learner. You're gonna need some help making sure the lesson sticks."
"Could use some help making sure the rest of the staff don't come running."
Mr. Stark chuckled. "I have just the thing."
He heard the sound of another belt coming undone. Mr. Rogers manhandled him until he his head could hang off the side of the desk. Mr. Stark walked around, pants hanging open, stroking his cock. Peter licked his lips. The teacher smirked.
"You know what to do don't you?"
Peter opened his mouth as he came close. He moaned as his teacher's cock filled up his mouth. And screamed when Mr. Rogers struck his ass with the belt.
"Perfect," Mr. Stark sighed. He pushed himself into Peter's throat. Tears welled in his eyes as he choked. Mr. Stark wiped them away while a grin.
"Never took you for a sadist," Mr. Rogers commented.
"Me? No, I just love teaching my favorite student how to be a more upstanding citizen."
Mr. Rogers scoffed. "Sure, Stark."
"Isn't that what you're doing?"
"Of course." He struck him again with the belt and Peter squealed. Mr. Stark kept his cock in his mouth, though it didn't actually do much to quiet him, while Mr. Rogers spanked him. His ass heated up quickly, stinging more and more and with each strike of the belt until he thought it had to be bleeding, but when his teacher stopped and ran his hands over his ass he didn't feel any broken skin.
Mr. Rogers knelt behind him and pulled down his panties. "Nice and red," he mused. "Have you learned your lesson yet, Peter?"
He tried to say yes, but his mouth was too stuffed. Mr. Stark just laughed. "I think he wants more, Steve."
A hand palmed his sore flesh. "I think so, too." Rough hands spread his ass open. Peter jumped and then moaned as his teacher's tongue swiped over his hole.
"Oh he loved that, listen to him," Mr. Stark said. He slowly fucked his mouth while Mr. Rogers ate him out. It felt so good, that tongue pressing over his hole, running around his rim, running down over his taint and back up. He couldn't do anything but spread his legs asking for more. Mr. Rogers slurped up the mess he'd made with his own spit and Peter shivered at how dirty that was.
He picked up the belt again. Peter whined.
"Press your legs together. I don't think you want your balls in the way." He grabbed Peter's hips and positioned him with his ass a little higher and his cock and balls against the desk where they were safe but uncomfortable.
He screamed again as the belt struck his ass. Neither one of his teachers seemed interested in being gentle with him now. Mr. Stark fucked his face while Mr. Rogers belted him. They had him rocking against the desk, hanging on desperately to the surface. The desk top was too hard, but it made no difference to his cock at this point.
"You're not getting close are you?" Mr. Stark teased. "I think you're enjoying this too much."
Mr. Rogers stopped and sighed. "We're trying to help you here, Peter. How are you ever going to learn like this?" He grabbed his hips and pulled him back from the desk.
"Hey, I was using that," Mr. Stark complained.
"He's not going anywhere. I'm just fixing the problem." He turned Peter around and pushed him onto his back. Mr. Rogers moved him around so easily, like he weighed nothing. He positioned him again with his head hanging so Mr. Stark could use his mouth. He could get so much deeper at this angle and he didn't care when Peter choked and spit ran down his face.
Mr. Rogers grabbed his legs and pulled them straight up in the air. Peter moaned as he felt his cock against his ass.
"I've got dibs on that," Mr. Stark growled.
"Easy. I'm happy with this." His cock squeezed between Peter's thighs, sliding against his cock. He whined desperately with every thrust of his teacher's hips, especially when he dug his fingers into his skin and his hips smacked against his sore ass. It felt so good. One teacher stretching out his throat while the other used his thighs.
"Fuck," Mr. Rogers moaned. "Such a filthy little boy."
"Told you so," Mr. Stark laughed.
Mr. Rogers squeezed his thighs tighter together. He fucked him like he should have fucked his hole. Peter held on to the desk top feeling like he might fall off. Then Mr. Roger's groaned and he could feel the wet spurts of his cum all over his cock and the inside of his skirt.
"There," he sighed. "I'll let you jack off with my cum." He swatted Peter's sore ass as he took a step back. Peter was quick to wrap a hand around himself. Mr. Stark kept fucking his throat. Every time he gagged it made his cock throb. Drool had run down into his eye, but he loved it.
"That's a good whore," Mr. Stark purred. "Make yourself cum while I bruise your throat. You won't be able to speak when I'm done with you, but that's not what your mouth is for anymore is it?"
Peter moaned. He pumped his cock with his fist full of his teacher's cum and in no time he was cumming, too. Mr. Stark pulled out of his mouth and let him catch his breath. Even his breathing was raspy and painful and it just made him want to cum again. He felt so used.
He slid down off the desk. The disgusting mess under his skirt stuck to his skin. "Here, we don't want to waste all of that do we?" Mr. Rogers said. He bent and pulled up Peter's panties.
"I've got one more for you," Mr. Stark said. "Lift the skirt up."
Peter did what he was told. Mr. Stark pulled his panties down enough to aim his cock inside while he stroked himself. He sighed happily as he came, filling up his panties all the more before pulling them back up. Peter felt like he could barely stand. It was too good, his brain felt like mush and his cock was hard again.
"I hope you learned something," Mr. Rogers scolded.
"Yeah, Peter," Mr. Stark said with a grin. "If you keep running around like a slut this is what dirty old men are gonna do to you."
Peter smiled. "Is that a promise?" His voice was raspy and broken.
Mr. Rogers chuckled. "I guess there's no saving a whore after all."

Hello, internet!
I have a confession to make. I find Instagram too overwhelming now with all the reels and the algorithm. Twitter (now named X) feels like a graveyard. I feel a bit uncomfortable to put my life on TikTok. I don’t think I have the following to start a newsletter. I know I’m not eloquent enough to write amazing things on Medium or Substack. So, where do I go?
Here I am, in the platform where I basically started and learned how to express my creativity. The good ‘ol Tumblr blog. A lot of things have definitely changed and there’s a bit of learning curve into navigating the interface again. I do, however, find some comfort in feeling like I’m just talking to myself. No number of real-time views, no algorithm, and not a single care whether or not I gain followers.
It’s been almost a decade since I last used Tumblr seriously. I know it’s dramatic to say, but this place is truly where I discovered my skills and passion. There was a time when doodles were a thing and I became that girl in high school who would just doodle during math class. I would get scolded by my teachers but it never really bothered me. I also remember getting into coding my own Tumblr themes, that’s why until now some basic CSS/HTML is ingrained into my brain. I learned how to use Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI, etc. I got into digital photography because everyone else on my feed was doing it. Even though I had the most beginner friendly DSLR, I treasured it the most up until college. Basically, I was a sponge. Anything that piques my creative interest, I would always try my best to learn something about it.
10 years later.
Sometimes when we look at our current self and where we are now, we tend to overlook the progress we’ve made throughout the years. Writing this somehow makes me smile. Because even though I know deep down that I’m not a hundred percent satisfied with who I am at the moment, I know that the person I described in my last paragraph is extremely proud of our progress. I wish I could tell her that we graduated at our dream university with flying colors and best solo thesis award. I wish I could tell her about the projects we’ve done and that we have a published children’s book locally. Lastly, I wish I could tell her that the things that made her feel “weird” in high school is now her part of her career that funds her bills, little travels, and dates with self & friends.
I am, by no means, saying that I am successful by society’s standard. There are boxes in my artist career checklist written 5 years ago that I no longer what to pursue. I am the kind of person who believes that success is defined by one’s self, and it’s not only limited to career but your life as a whole.
The shift.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you might’ve read a couple of stories I’ve shared about struggling with burnout and finding motivation to create personal art again. At first I was convinced that it was just a creative burnout. But, a burnout can’t possibly last for years, right? 😅 My second theory is that maybe deep down I wanted to just prioritize having a creative day job, since it brings in money to pay the bills. My last theory is how I feel like I’ve associated my creativity to my emotions, and that I could only create when I’m really going through something. (Like a heartbreak or during the peak of the panini.) And since I’m at my happiest state, I no longer feel the need to escape through art.
Whether it’s a burnout or something else, I do believe that I’m just taking my time. Quoting Ursula from Kiki’s Delivery Service, "Stop trying. Take long walks. Look at scenery. Doze off at noon. Don’t even think about flying. And then, pretty soon, you’ll be flying again.”
I don’t want to put myself in a box.
When you have a lot of interests, it’s kind of difficult to find an outlet for all the things that you want do. The internet advice always seem to tell you to “find a niche and stick with it.” But…what if I don’t want to? I really thought my dream was to become an independent illustrator, but somehow I found myself enjoying design too. As I described earlier, I am the kind of person who likes to explore anything that piques her creative interest — and this took me a while to fully embrace. Throughout the years, I also learned that I have non-creative skills that can thrive in a workplace such as team & project management. So why put myself in a box when there’s so much more out there that I can try out?
I still have a lot to figure out, but I’m slowly trying to get back to things I enjoy doing. I’m just really calm and happy right now being the most basic adult with her day job on weekdays and doing her silly little chores on weekends.
Whew, this is one lengthy post. Maybe I am a yapper, after all. Haha! But I do hope to share more of my life and thoughts here. If you’re still reading this, thank you and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
All love and sunshine,
Allyana
