It is (to date) the only Thai BL that I’ve rated a 10/10 predominantly on the basis of story structure. That said it is also very well cast (and it’s a BIG cast), with solid production values, and enduring pair branding. Discussion here.

Hwang Da Seul directing this angsty BL that's a tiny bit dark and a tiny bit bittersweet, almost too honest to a university experience and first love. But if you want your mind ever-so-slightly messed with and your intimacy hellishly sweet, this BL will do it for you in a coldly distant manner, while bitch slapping you with self worth issues. I wasn’t into it at first, but the leads are solid and by ep 5 it got really good, becoming a narrative about self discovery meets understanding and accepting others people’s flaws without hurting them. Ultimately we witnessed two characters maturing because of each other and their mutual affection, without that affection becoming the conflict point. Instead, tension was built around other aspects of identity, popularity, and childhood trauma.

Two young men with a shared tragic past reunite and fall in love all over again, but the past will not stop hunting them. Based on a manga, this office set reunion romance is GREAT… damn it. It’s Japan in full on soft focus which means it gets emo, abusive, and chewy. These two characters are giving parts of their souls away in a desperate attempt to shape themselves to the expectations they have of each other.

This feels more atmospheric gay coming of age romance than strictly BL. It’s got a bit of an age gap, country boy/city boy, stellar acting, complex characters, and leads with great chemistry and tension. It’s a bit chewy and sticky and less perfect than most KBLs (do I detect a touch of Taiwan?) This one deployed BL tropes (messy eater, shoulder sleep, protective seme, there’s even some hyung-slinging) but front loaded them with painful backstory and tons angst drives the 2nd half. This isn’t in the KBL bubble, there’s sharp edges and lots of triggers. For a BL the darkness of the content left me feeling unsettled (which is the only reason it didn't get a perfect score) but it does have a glorious ending and that counts for a lot.

This was GMMTV’s flagship BL and it started 2022 on a BANG (okay no actual banging but you know what I mean), starring heavy hitters Ohm & Nanon in a pitch perfect university Romeo & Romeo masterpiece that will give you domesticity meets pain whiplash throughout and jet lag at the end. Some of the friendship and family dynamics are overworked, but it has great production values, killer acting, and some conscious effort to correct for half a decade of Thai BL’s anti-queer mistakes. The whole set up is build on family drama so, yeah.

Office frienamies transition a flaming hot one night stand into a f-buddy relationship that is built on a puppy/cat dynamic (and kinks into it at one point). Our puppy is loyal, smitten, and protective with endlessly longing eyes, while our cat is snarky, prickly, and deeply damaged. NetJames give lovely high-heat with excellent chemistry and tuned-in performances of surprising depth, could have been spectacular but was the story is overworked, especially at the end. Still if high heat is your thing, this one will not let you down.

What Lovely Writer does, at heart, is reexamine Thai BL has done to queerness, but in a very gentle way that has more to do with Thai BL growing up than any actual queer authenticity. It’s not parody or pastiche, but it is self reflective and trying to correct for some chronic mistakes. Whether it is ultimately successful in this matter is going to depend on the watcher’s relationship to BL and queer identity. But that’s what makes this show beautiful, interesting, and thought provoking. And I, for one, applaud the effort even if I didn’t personally connect to the characters. There is both family trauma and dram and childhood stuff.

Stars Lee Dong Won (KNK) as an ex-idol turned wedding singer with an abusive ex and a panic disorder + the sunshine pianist who falls in love with him. Timid tsundere & sweetheart gay is an interesting match. They’re gentle together, almost kindly, and there is a calm ache to their pairing. However, it lost its way as a BL, being more about the main character’s struggle than the romance. It had a strong finish but ultimately the premise & characters meant this was never going to be one of my favorites. But if you like angst, well...

The singing is terrible, fast forward through that but with the possible exception of the hair styles, this BL could have been made in 2015 and no one would be surprised. As such, it wasn’t ground breaking, but it didn’t disappoint either. Very much a tortured past for our singer. (More here.)

GMMTV does gay Blacklist with a good boy/bad boy pairing. This is a good show but the cast is excellent and the leads are absolutely flawless, which elevates it beyond just good. We got a nuanced and multifaceted burgeoning relationship: philosophical (and socio-political) conflict contrasted to moments of empathy; flirtation contrasted to moments of genuine affection, plus plenty of angst. This narrative is less about love than it is about courage and tenderness. However, near the end the pacing was off and the plot frustrating. Still, this is an enjoyable watch, with a finale that features verbal consent and a fun blooper reel.

3 couples form within a semester of university: 1. a hyung romance reunion of exes, one of whom has a dangerous past, 2. a friends to lovers romance, and 3. a one night stand between a mature student and a TA (many aspects of which had me laughing). I enjoyed the characters and dialogue of this show immensely. It was a little bit more breezy and friendly than I was expecting after the first installment, Love Class (to which this bears little resemblance and no connection). I’m not entirely sure Korea can handle multiple couples like this because it definitely felt disjointed, especially with the 3rd more mature couple (also my favorite) who probably should’ve had their own series. But I enjoyed something different from Korea.

A truly lovely little coming of age high school BL with a classic YA low drama but high angst and an earnest depth. I didn’t even mind the singing, and that’s saying a lot. A weak seme/uke dynamic but tons of BL tropes (both rare in a high school setting but common for Taiwan) makes this one feel both sweet and colored by an almost real world authenticity and grit. DNA deserves extra marks for an upbeat approach to a queer story arc that other shows have systemically mishandled with sadness (in the guise of realism). There is a twist, which I found predictable, but knowing what would happen didn't spoil this show. The leads are luminous and engaging, and it’s full of queer found family representation and an unexpected amount of domesticity, plus it’s Taiwan, so the kisses are great. The first few eps are rough going but have patiences, it's worth it as the last ones really are special and life/love affirming - and the end is big-grin charming.

My Tooth Your Love

Earnest dentist hottie with sad eyes who worries too much is smitten by an adorable sunshine neurotic bar owner with serious anxiety issues. They fall madly in love while courting each other with food, plushies, and naps. Then, shocker, talk about their feelings and try to actually sort out their problems so they can have an adult relationship. Bonus crumbs = 18 year old poor little rich kid in mad crush with a much older man. I really enjoyed this show, it had a unique premise, killer dialogue, there was a solid lead pair with charming chemistry, soft flirtation, delightful smiling kisses, and stinkingly cute domesticity.

Ostensibly high school set about a poor kid whose been raised in a mafia kid’s family specifically to protect him (whipping boy trope, attack dog variant). Themes of codependency and survival with pretty classic Korean style romance ending.

This Thai BL has everything: university setting, great acting and complex characters, interesting friendship groups, enemies to lovers, angsty coming out, high production values, AMAZING chemistry, and multiple BL side couples with all the issues. But when I said everything I meant it because there's also: damaging queer rep, strong seme/uke and husband/wife language, classic tropes and lots of them, child abuse, bullying, mental illness, rough play, dub-con, non-con, and statutory rape (by the seme/gay character).

Got tagged by @chaotic-neutral-knitter to share my favorite fics I've written and I feel a little bad not putting any of my 3 OFMD fics on the list. But in my defense it was very hard to choose between my 116 slutty slutty children, and while I like my OFMD fics a lot (especially Learning and Remembering) I decided to limit myself to five fics across all the fandoms I have written for over the past nine (!!) years, and there are some that stand above the rest.

Maybe I'll Show You the Way (Dune, Paul/Chani). Maybe my recency bias is showing but I really think this is one of the best things I've written. Paul and Chani's whole "falling in love while fighting side by side in an anti-colonial armed resistance movement" romance in Dune Part Two felt like it was designed in a lab to appeal to me specifically, and I just wanted more of it! What started with a simple "5 times they fucked in between fighting the Harkonnens" premise has become a novella-length character study about war, politics, solidarity and resistance to oppression in all its forms, interlaced with a very sweet, youthful first-love romance that always has a bittersweet edge because we the audience know these characters are living in a tragedy. This fic is one chapter from completion and I've been stalling because I really wanna stick the landing on this one, but it will get finished!

a narrow door, swiftly closing (Dune, Paul/Duncan) Different ship, different era (post-Dune Part One) and a very different vibe. The fun of this ship is the multiple power imbalances running in different directions (younger/older, student/teacher, lord/vassal, end product of a 90-generation eugenics program with a mind that can bridge time and space/Just Some Guy). It's also got that chewy age gap thing where the older character has watched the younger character grow from a child to an adult and has to wrestle with the realization that they find them sexually attractive now. Peak forbidden romance and mutual pining in this one and not just one but two of my favorite finally-crossing-the-line kisses I have ever written.

Three Times Is a Habit (Trust, Primo/The Other Paul) Ah yes, my "which doomed curly-haired teenage twink heir to a powerful dynasty named Paul are we talking about?" era. For a hot second (most of 2021) I was really into this hidden gem FX limited series Trust, based (with many creative liberties taken) on the real kidnapping of John Paul Getty III in Italy in the 1970s. The fun of this fandom is that every ship is an absolute garbage fire of bad decisions, and writing the trainwreck emotional logic that leads to a traumatized teenager repeatedly hooking up with his kidnapper was an adventure. There's also a fun meta layer at play in the relationship between our reality, the fictionalized "true" version of the kidnapping that happens in the show, the lies the characters tell about the fictionalized version of the kidnapping in the show, and the version of the characters I'm writing, some of whom are based on real people and some of whom are made up. (Is this RPF? You decide.) This fic will make zero sense if you haven't watched the show. But you should! It's a wild ride with a great cast (Donald Sutherland presente!)

Salvage & Scrap (Mad Max: Fury Road, Gen) Two minor characters who have a combined total of maybe five minutes of screen time produced what was until recently my longest fic on AO3. This fic was based on a fantastic prompt: what if Ace (the older war boy who seems to be Furiosa's second in command on the War Rig) and Valkyrie (Furiosa's Green Place gal pal) both survived their violent vehicular encounters and met each other? The idea was immediately appealing to me because they both care about Furiosa but have known such different versions of her, and the way their worldviews would clash seemed like great story fodder. I still love the imagery of them meeting at the place where their worlds have literally collided--the wreck of the War Rig in the Rock Riders' canyon. Also I recently reread this and I forgot how devastating the tiny glimpse we get of Furiosa is in this fic.

Fightplay (Mad Max: Fury Road, Max/Furiosa) You know this list wouldn't be complete without a smutty Maxiosa fic. It was really hard to pick one piece of the 127k smut novel I wrote about them in non-chronological order over the course of about 3 years (2015-2018). But Fightplay was definitely the start of writing uhhh a certain kind of dynamic for them. The prose is very spare and exacting in a way that I still find hot 9 years later.

Mag Safeguard #SafeWash Even at Home | Safeguard

In the Philippines, welcoming a family member, whether it is the parents or the children, with a warm hug and kisses is a very common practice. However, ever since the pandemic started, even these traditions were restricted between families when the new normal policy of going out was implemented. According to the World Health Organization (2020), COVID-19 can be transmitted through direct contact by mouth and nose secretion and indirect contact through contaminated objects and surfaces. Hence, several products were released through advertisements to promote protection to people around the world.

Safeguard, a well-known anti-bacterial and anti-fungal soap, released an advertisement regarding protection and shield against the virus. The advertisement titled “Mag Safeguard #SafeWash Even at Home” was aired on March 11, 2021, depicting a short story about a family. The story starts in a set-up where a common Filipino household practice is shown where the children and mother at home are very excited to meet their father, who came from work. The pre-pandemic practice was shown where the children welcomed their father with a hug; however, the advertisement depicted a giant character of bacteria which portrays the father. Here, it was shown that the germs and bacteria were then transferred to the children, which may cause them harm by catching mild to severe diseases.

Through the given situation, the main goal of the advertisement was shown where they promoted the body soap that is proven to kill 99.9% of bacteria they have gathered outdoors and protected them for 24 hours. This brings a message to the intended viewers from the age range between toddlers and adults that it is best to immediately clean up when one comes from an outdoor setting before getting in touch with the family physician. This will prevent each member of the household from carrying and transferring communicable diseases to one another and will keep a healthy state that also benefits maintaining the strong immune system to fight bacteria and viruses several places and objects could bring. The commercial delivery was portrayed to give an entertaining appeal to young audiences so that they could visually imagine how much it would affect them and the entire family if ever they did not practice proper hygiene. It was also intended to give proper lessons to adult audiences about how much their family and/or children might get sick through their household practices. 

The media was conveyed with involving one of media manipulation, a hoax. Claiming that the soap could kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria as well as 24-hour protection was a little exaggerated because several studies proved that no product could totally wipe out that many pathogens we hold. According to Medline Plus (2020), using strong chemicals and alcohol are the only ones that could swipe off a huge percentage of bacteria. This means that for skin types, no products are really made to kill such amount of bacteria; however it could lessen them.

Biden to Retaliate Against Saudi Arabia

LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Oct. 11, 2022.--Lashing out at U.S. foreign relations, 79-year-old President Joe Biden continues to make enemies out of traditional U.S. allies, and wreck cooperative relations with U.S. adversaries.  Since taking office Jan. 20m 2021, Biden has wrecked generations of working relations with Russia and China, now looks to sabotage U.S.-Saudi relations, all because his July 15 visit to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman backfired on the aged president.  Biden tried to use Saudi Arabia to bail him out from his failed energy policy that’s left the U.S. and European Union with shortages and skyrocketing prices.  Biden visited Bin Salman over the objections of his closest advisers all because his political strategists told him high oil prices was going to turn the House and Senate back to Republicans in the Midterm election. Biden’s trip to Riyadh was disaster with staged fist-bump with Bin Salman backfiring.

Biden was vicious critic of Bin Salman vowing during the 2020 campaign to never recognize him as the leader of Saudi Arabia.  Biden blamed Bin Salman for the Oct. 2, 2018 brutal murder of 59-year-old Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul.  Khashoggi went in to the Embassy but never came out, rumored murdered by Saudi agents and cut up in little pieces with a bone saw. Biden blamed Bin Salman for ordering the hit on the Washington Post journalist, vowing he would only do business with Bin Salman’s 86-year-old father King Salman.  Biden knew at the time that the 36-year-old Bin Salam was the Kingdom’s de facto leader due to King Salman’s failing health.  Yet Biden went to Riyadh July 15 to beg Bin Salman to ramp up oil production to reduce the cost of gasoline in the U.S.  Biden has been hammered in the polls because of high gas prices.

State Department and Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby said Biden wants to “re-evaluate” its relationship to Saudi Arabia, all because Biden didn’t get what he wanted to increase Saudi oil production.  Shortly after Biden took his oath-of-office, he cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline, a vital link for the fracking industry, making the U.S. energy independent under the Trump administration.  So, once anti-fossil fuel groups prevailed on Biden to slow the fracking industry, the U.S. went from a net energy exporter to a net energy importer.  Biden’s July 15 visit to Bin Salman was supposed to correct his failed energy policy, relying only on renewables and nuclear power to meet the country’s future energy needs..  One the Feb. 24 Ukraine War started, Biden quickly embargoed Russian oil, demanding that U.S. allies no longer do business with the Kremlin on energy purchases.

Biden’s foreign policy is built around coercion, telling adversaries they must do what he wants or they get on his black list.  Well, Biden has already started a proxy war using Ukrainian troops with the Russian Federation and has wrecked U.S.-Chinese relations stating loudly Sept. 18 that he would defend Taiwan with U.S. troops.  Now Biden’s wrecking relations with Saudi Arabia, all because they’re in the OPEC trade alliance with the Russian Federation.  No U.S. diplomacy can be built of coercion and threats, that if Bdien doesn’t get his way he’ll reevaluate the relationship.  “I think the president’s been very clear that this is a relationship that we need to continue to re-evaluate, that we need to be willing to revisit,” said State Department Spokesman John Kirby.  Kirby said Biden would work with Democrats, like Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) to sanction the Kingdom

Biden’s foreign policy has painted the U.S. into a corner, threatening U.S. national security.  Whatever issues Bin Salman has with increasing oil output, he’s entitled to do what’s best for Saudi Arabia and OPEC.  Biden can stomp his feet all he wants but it only makes the U.S. government look fecklesss.  Biden “is going to be willing to work with Congress as we think about what the right relationship with Saudi Arabia needs to be going forward,” Kirby said.  Biden officials have announced plans to limit the price Russian can sell its crude oil on the world market, trying to harm the Russian economy.  Biden’s crippling economic sanctions on Moscow have largely backfired because Russia sells more oil and natural gas to India and China and other BRICS bloc countries, including Brazil an South Africa.  Mendendez wants to freeze all military sales to Saudi Arabia.

Menendez, who heads the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, urges his colleagues to “immediately freeze all aspect of our cooperation with Saudi Arabia, including any arms sales and security cooperation beyond what is absolutely necessary to defend U.S. personnel and interest.”  Mendenez would drive Bin Salman into a closer alliance with Putin, much like Biden did when he boycotted the Beijing Winter Games, driving China into Russia’s arms.  Biden’s approach to U.S. foreign policy, whether allies or adversaries, is to bully sovereign states into automatic obedience.  Mendendez’s approach would hit U.S. Saudi relations with a sledgehammer much like Biden did with Russia and China.   If Sauidi chooses to cut oil production, Mendendez should urge Biden to approve the Keystone XL pipeline and provide every incentive to the fracking industry to ramp up domestic oil production.

The elder son of Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill, Douglas earned his Bachelor of Arts in drama from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His early acting roles included film, stage, and television productions. Douglas first achieved prominence for his performance in the ABC police procedural television series The Streets of San Francisco, for which he received three consecutive Emmy Award nominations. In 1975, Douglas produced One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, having acquired the rights to the Ken Kesey novel from his father. The film received critical and popular acclaim, and won the Academy Award for Best Picture, earning Douglas his first Oscar as one of the film's producers.

The commercial shoots that ZZH took part in showed us how versatile a person he can be. Some required him to show off skills that he was not a master of, but he always tried to do what he was supposed to do to the best of his ability. And sometimes ZZH was not given such challenges. In the first half of 2021, ZZH took part in countless commercial shoots for various companies. One of the brands was the cosmetics brand Elizabeth Arden. For the commercial shoot, ZZH was dressed, as far as I remember, in two styles, one more classic, consisting of a simple suit, and the other slightly stylized as historical Chinese robes. We have to admit that ZZH looked amazing in both styles. Today, I chose the first style, in which ZZH presented a gift in the form of an anti-aging face serum. Looking at the advertised product and ZZH, it seems to us that choosing him for the commercial was a bull's eye. ZZH has a beautifully groomed face, which he takes great care of. Besides, it's easy not to notice it when he posts photos online with cosmetic face masks. But let's get back to the photo. ZZH is dressed in a simple black suit and a white T-shirt. This outfit looks very good on his figure. But what gave this photoshoot such energy was the choice of background. Very intense and with vivid colors. The background is orange in various shades. From very light orange to its dark shade. Here, a shading technique was used, lighter colors are next to ZZH's figure, and darker ones in the distance. This gives the impression that ZZH's figure radiates with light. But this is just an optical illusion, however, such a lighting arrangement greatly exposed ZZH's figure through intense color contrast. In the presented photo, ZZH has longer hair, which is nicely arranged, some strands of hair fall unruly over his forehead. His face shines with light, there is delicate makeup on it, which slightly covers the birthmarks. ZZH has such a thoughtful expression on his face, his gaze is somewhere in the distance. ZZH looks like he's thinking intensely about something. Maybe about what he'll do the next day, or whether he'll have time to rest. I like ZZH with this melancholic look. Then he gives the impression of a delicate, fragile person with a beautiful body and a good heart. Looking at ZZH in this pose, you want to go up to him and hug him.

It is (to date) the only Thai BL (of c.300 watched) that I’ve rated 10/10 predominantly on the basis of its story structure. That said it is also very well cast (and it’s a BIG cast), with solid production values, beautiful food, powerful themes, and enduring pair branding.

With great casting and cinematography this drama nods at BL tropes but manages to elevate them (and itself) with a strong mature story concept about a spoiled rich kid who gets a heart transplant and becomes a teacher it order to pay out survivor’s guilt. On the way he falls in love with a local park ranger and contends with his own classism and escapist tendencies. Everyone seemed to perfectly suit their roles and GMMTV made the most out of its stable. Combined with excellent production (and post production) values, 1000 Stars is without question GMMTV’s most mature, charming, and smart BL series. I think it should go down as one of the top BLs of all time. I feel safe recommending this one to friends and non BL watchers.

GMMTV gave us a classic high school set Thai BL with tropes like messy boys singing their feelings that made this one Love Sick for the modern age with all the gentle sweetness and pining ache, but none of the dated damaging tropes or issues. Yes, we’ve seen it all before, but I still ADORED this. And there is a lot to be said for the classics being re-executed perfectly. Who let my BL be this wholesome and funny? This show was fantastic, it’s only flaw was the singing (and that’s my baggage). My favourite GMMTV BL offering to date. And yes, I've watched them ALL.

This show is literally everything (except straight) all at once. It's BL, queer, band of brothers, romcom, erotica, PNR, fated mates, police procedural, fantasy, mystery, suspense, and slasher. It’s the king of genre mash-up chaos. Sure, it's madness but there is genius in it. Was it a crazy unhinged mess +1 roll for damage? Yes. Yes it was. Did it manage to hold all those tangled threads together? No it did not. Was it also a charming, sexy, engaging, non-stop piece of entertainment? Sure thing. I think this show is basically my KinnPorsche, and frankly I’ve been chasing that dragon naga since KP aired. Is it perfect? No. But it is balls to the wall FUN.

This was GMMTV’s flagship BL and it started 2022 on a BANG (okay no actual banging but you know what I mean), starring heavy hitters Ohm & Nanon in a pitch perfect university Romeo & Romeo masterpiece that will give you domesticity meets pain whiplash throughout and jet lag at the end. Some of the friendship and family dynamics are overworked, but it has great production values, killer acting, and some conscious effort to correct for half a decade of Thai BL’s anti-queer mistakes. I did a watch along for this one.

Softest seme in the universe sings his affection to the older boy at the cafe. Let the slow burn courting commence. Oxygen uses every BL trope in the playbook for one of the gentlest lowest angst BLs ever made. It’s a hyung romance (younger boy courts older boy) but very very earnest about it. Am I biased? Sure. This is probably one of my biggest comfort watches.

Thailand criticizes itself and the BL industry while simultaneously giving us classic seme/uke with great chemistry in a one-two punch of “we love it, but are we supposed to? and must we think this hard, yet enjoy it SO MUCH?” This show won’t appeal or make sense to those who don’t already have at least some Thai BL watching experience. What Lovely Writer does, at heart, is reexamine Thai BL has done to queerness, but in a very gentle way that has more to do with Thai BL growing up than any actual queer authenticity. It’s not parody or pastiche, but it is self reflective and trying to correct for some chronic mistakes. Whether it is ultimately successful in this matter is going to depend on the watcher’s relationship to BL and queer identity. But that’s what makes this show beautiful, interesting, and thought provoking. And I, for one, applaud the effort even if I didn’t personally connect to all the characters.

How do you say antidisestablishmentarianism in Thai? + hot boys kissing who probably shouldn't be and convoluted soap opera identical twins plot... someone at GMMTV thought it made sense, we just here for the tattoos and the the Pride scene.

Okay so, GMMTV gave us a dark disestablishment narrative (in a time of civil unrest) with established queer award-winning director Anucha and starring the biggest guns of BL, OffGun and THIS WAS AN AMAZING THING to get to experience at the time - nerve racking but remarkable. But was it ACTUALLY BL? It certainly has a lot of BL elements, but in the end romance was not what this show was about, or even what it was genuinely trying to be as a performance piece. Still a remarkable moment in Thai cinema, certainly worth your time. Don’t worry, it all ends happily.

The set up on this one is enemies (also boss/employee) and they don’t like each other to start. But that gets resolved pretty quickly. And then they are some of the cutest, hottest, and best boyfriends ever. This is an under-appreciated BL, IMHO.

Strongberry are true masters of their craft and yet A First Love Story is still one of the best things they have ever produced. It’s the only microfilm every to make one of my year end top ten list. It’s two episodes of about 8 minutes each that manage to perfectly portray the sweetest friends-to-lovers confession ever. It’s joyful, and gentle with its characters, and a little hot. How on earth do they manage to leave us yearning for more yet completely satisfied at the same time? It’s like the perfect amuse-bouche, that one finger food at that one cocktail party that you will never forget. You are a ridiculous human if you haven’t spent 16 minutes with these two boys. Go watch it now. Or go watch it again. It’s time VERY well spent.
