You just transferred to Academy High School and after learning about the clubs, you wanted to join the gardening club and met the leader of the club.

It was 7 am.

You were approaching to your new school. You felt yourself uncomfortable… There were many students around you. but… they were all in groups, they were talking about their own, while approaching to the school, while you were walking alone. Maybe you should make friends here for not being alone at new place.

After entering the classroom 2-1, someone touches your shoulder. Turning head back you saw a girl with blue and green dyed hair, also she was wearing a hairclip with musical symbol.

"Hi there! You're that new one, right?" the girl asked. Her voice sounded melodiously.

"Hi, yeah, I am. My name is Y/N Y/L"

"Cool name, Y/N! I am Beshi Takamine!" you two shaked hands, as she continued, "Nice to meet you!"

You were very happy that a new friend finds you by themself! After that, Beshi was asking you some basic questions to get you known better.

"Did you thought about in which club you will join?" she asked after some time.

"Hm. I didn't thought about that... You know, I really love nature and plants, do they have a gardening club or something like that?"

"Of course they do! Before classes their leader is at the school garden, maybe if she's still there, go and join the club!" she replies.

Maybe this is a really good chance. You should try it out! You thanked Beshi for information and nice talk, while you were leaving the classroom for searching the leader of the club.

It wasn't very hard to find the school garden. And the garden was REALLY gorgeous! You were like hypnotized by their appearance… But someone broked the spell with very gentle voice.

"Oh, hello, dear! Welcome to the gardening club!" the girl greeted.

She has golden brown hair that reaches her shoulders with a long strand of hair around her left eye. She wears a variety of pink and green hair clips in her hair bun, with a large yellow to pink gradient colored flower in front that connects to a pink floral headband, and she also has brown hazel eyes. She looked like an angel that fell from the sky... And now you fell under another spell...

"I- uh, h-hi..." 'Cause of her prettiness your voice were trembling a little bit, "A-are you the g-gardening club leader?"

"Yes, dear." she replied, as she shows her left arm with a red armband of leadership. After, she continued "Do you need something?"

Now you were feeling yourself more confident for not trembling, and asked "Can you tell me some information about the club, please?"

At that moment she smiled wider and ran to you taking your hands, while your confidence disappeared and you started to blush.

"I'd be more than happy to tell you a bit about us! To sum it up, we plant flowers, create hedge artwork, and grow veggies! If you join us, you'll have full access to our shed, greenhouse, and garden!" happily listed the girl, while you were nodding.

All of this was your favorite actions, you'd really wanted to join, the leader like read your mind.

"Would you like to join us? That would be so delightful!" the girl exclaimed.

"Yeah, I would like to." after these words the girl smiled wider and her eyes began to shine.

"Oh, wonderful! You're a member of the gardening club now. I hope you enjoy your time with us!" you nodded, as she continued, "Wait a second..." the girl said leaving you for few minutes.

After coming back her hands were behind her back.

"Close your eyes", the girl said, while giggling.

You closed your eyes and felt the girl leaned to you, putting something in your hair. After she stepped back you opened your eyes and touched your hair. It was a... flower?

"Is that a flower?"

"It's a hairclip with an artificial flower! It's the accessories, what all our club members are wearing!"

"What kind of flower is in my hair?", you said still touching the hairclip.

"Oh it's (your favorite flower). Do you like it?"

"Yeah, that's my favorite flower!"

"Oh, that's great! And also we have club activities at 5.30pm, you can come to between 5 and 5.30pm!"

"Oh, thank you for information... Um..."

"Uekiya Engeika.", the girl said looking at her phone, "Oh, dear! Look at the time! It's 7.55! It's time for class!"

"Oh, yeah you are right.", you said walking from the school garden to the main building, still admiring its beauty.

This part is getting quite long, so I'll split it into two parts. Honestly, this is the first time I’m publishing something on this platform, and I hope someone will like it and I’ll write a second part.

You and her were just friends, that’s it. Granted, it might not look like it. The two of you were closer than most. With each other through thick and thin, inseparable. Your parents used to joke that your souls were superglued together at birth. You never saw one without the other, except for classes that is. You hung around her before, and after, class and always, always, walked home together. Arms linked and laughing. Just like it was meant to be.

“Besh,” you happily yelled as you rushed up to her in your apron. Your bandana tied tightly to your scalp, a symbol of the cooking club, “try these! I’m trying out a new recipe! They're called Oreo Cinnamon Rolls!"

You exclaimed and held the tray out for her to take one. The roll sat on a platter with a thin covering of frosting, your eyes excited as you watched her playfully roll her eyes and set her guitar down. A gentle smile on your face as she plucked a treat from your tray and took a cautious bite, her wary eyes watched you before they fluttered shut.

“Mmmm,” she hummed out and took another bite, “this is so good! Like really really good Luv!”

She said through a mouthful of food, making your cheeks flush red with her praise, “you think so,” you questioned with a little tilt of your head as you watched her nod excitedly and smile warmly.

“Of course! I mean damn Luv! That’s so good! Can I have another?” She asked, already reaching for another. Making you balance the tray on your fingertips and raise it up before slapping her hand.

“No, I only made enough for everyone to have one. I’ll make you some for lunch tomorrow when we get out of school Besh. Alright?” You reasoned as she pouted and reached again, making you cover her face with your hand and push her back into her seat. Her eyes meeting yours between the slots in between your fingers, you tried to remain strong but eventually you gave in and took a step back.

“Fine,” you said as you plucked another from the tray, “have mine okay? I’ll just eat any that no one wants.”

You said with a warm shrug before ruffling her hair and smiling fondly before returning to your typical route of delivering your treats. Happy already that Beshi liked them. Because at the end of the day, that’s all that mattered. As long as your best friend approved of your cooking, that’s what mattered.
