Oh god I’m sorry that it took me so long, I had a break from rtte but now I catched up.

First I love their chimestry (I even shipped them a little in my head before It was known that theyre siblings). You may know that there are other siblings on the show: Ruff and Tuff (that are my baes I love them) so when they interact I see it as platonic, really I see there nothing happening between them (btw I ship Ruffnut and Snotlout with all my life and I see Tuffnut as asexual and another part of me ships him with an oc)

Anyway, I think Dagur didnt think anything of her till they worked together and he got attached to her and later even loved her. He found her amazing and loved everything about her and blah.Heather on the other hand hated him at first but couldnt kill him and later worked “with” him and she hated that she found him a little attracive. But yeah she would also grow to love him, since lots of things have happened like him sacrificing himself for her and the others and changing for her.Anyway, since theyre off having adventures now they would be together all the time, learn even more about each other and talk a lot about their family, them and etc. Theyre gonna come even closer and since Dagur is “deranged” I think a little part of him would realise that its not normal to want to fuck ur sister but the other big part would be like “Oh thor shes so fuckin beautiful and lovely oh and she sings like an angel and her food and shes badass must be genes and- AHAHAH omg I hate your clothes heather, take em off” so he would do everything for her and to please her. But like even if he feels like this the whole time he wont do anything bc he fears that hes gonna scare her and she wouldnt want to see him ever again.Heather too would realise that she likes him more than you like your brother “Heather stop staring at his chest, Its your brother stoooop why are you doing this go away now“ but she also wouldnt act up, she would think its wrong and impossible and so on.

I have lots of headcanons of how they confess their feelings my main one:Dagur gets injured on his chest and Heather helps him, washes the wound etc. this is just an excuse for him to be topless tbh when shes done they talk a little dagur tells her about their father and gets emotional then he gets up and hugs her. He cant stop himself and also kisses her, she pushes him away and asks “why did you do that” he says “I cant hide it anymore, I * insert dramatic speech* ” then he looks down and she suddenly kisses him, they make out against a desk and there is his bed, u know, HAPPY END.Actually no, there is so much more in my head, they have to hide their relationship from everyone and there is so much angst and love and loooots of sex. I wish I could write bc I feel like I’m could write a very long fanfic but I cant sadly. Thats all for now. omg I explain so badly in my head it looks nicer lol

@thestolentardis61 MOST DEFINITELY. I mean, shit, I'd ship it anyway even without everything we've seen in canon but like... the writers are making it so damn easy. It isn't subtle. Berserkcest IS real and I feel robbed because here this show is handing us an incest ship on a silver platter and I find no fanworks for it anywhere. Actually I can't even find non-shippy fanworks of those two. ON A SILVER PLATTER. I've seen people ship siblings over less, I'VE shipped siblings over less. I'm so disappointed people are not taking advantage of this. Obviously I am into incest shipping, of course. But you know it's pretty sad when non-incest shippers can see the ship plain as day yet there's really no fanbase for it. Still, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it or thinks it's real (practically canon, if canon could get away with it lol).

I’ve successfully rallied the Berserkcest shippers. Once again, my utter shamelessness has let people know they’re not alone in shipping something.

This is like the second time it’s happened this year. First Enki x Samon (I’m so tempted to call it Monkeycest but I’m just a little too mature to do it) in Nanbaka. Now Dagur x Heather in RTTE.

I wish I could find fic or art (mostly fic, particularly of the lewd variety) of Berserkcest. Like come on, I can’t be the only one who ships it.

I got loads of ideas for the ship but I don’t feel like exerting the effort to say it cuz it feels like I’m just speaking into the wind, or however the saying goes.

I'd love to see anything about Dagur and Heather tbh but angst just makes it so much better!

I have an idea too! It's from personal experience so here we go:

Heather actually wishes she could hate Mala. Keeps trying to find any little thing wrong with her to go "ha, see, you're not good enough for my brother!"

But Mala is just so nice. A strong leader Heather actually respects. And worst of all, Heather knows she's just being blinded by her own feelings for Dagur, that it's warping how she sees Mala. But Heather is rational enough to realize Mala doesn't deserve that, and that Dagur doesn't need Heather acting all possessive of him.

She knows this all stems from her FINALLY having a family, then all of a sudden he's getting married and glued to Mala's side and Heather isn't going to have Dagur to herself anymore. In a sense, she feels like she's lost someone important to another woman.

She knows she's being irrational, but that irritates her even more because why can't she just get over Dagur already? She still can't help feeling jealous tho. After all, what's Mala got that she hasn't?

Besides, shouldn't Mala have to fight her if Dagur had to complete those trials to marry Mala? (Of course it's a stupid irrational thought Heather has)

And what about ruling their respective tribes? Will they join together? Will Dagur leave Heather to rule the Berserkers on her own? There's so much uncertainty involved with this, Heather can't help but dwell on and obsess over it while desperately trying to not act snippy or terrible to Mala or Dagur.

Basically: Heather's an emotional wreck.

That's my idea, at least. 😃

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time and I decided: I want to write a full fanfic about Heather and Dagur, cause there are clearly too little. I would want to write about how their relationship will develop after the shows ending, especially now Mala and Dagur are canon, which means extra extra angst. Like the whole incest thing is angst enough, but Dagur and Malas marriage takes the angst on another level, and it changed my headcanons a lot. I intentionally waited till the shows ending so that we have all the details about them.

I wanted to know, are you guys interested in reading that? I dont know when I’ll start but eventually someday you’ll see the first chapter popping up on my blog.

Also I’m kinda in the mood for some headcanons, if you want any special headcanons or have requests, please tell me😊💕
