NEWS UPDATE
SPOILER NEWS!
Heyyy everyone! So, I know its been a long while since I've posted, I decided to take a few weeks off for me, I was struggling to keep up with episodes and writing a blog whilst also working a full time job as well as trying to find a new house with my partner - it's been a stressful couple of weeks. Also I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy the episodes as much as I'm constantly making notes to make sure I don't miss anything in my blog posts, but over the last few weeks I've been able to binge watch all the episodes I have missed.
I have to acknowledge the fantastic acting skills from Stevie Basaula who plays Isaac Baptise, watching him play the role of someone with schizophrenia has been absolutely stunning. I always thought that Isaac going off his medication was going to cause him to go on a downward spiral, it seems that he has come completely obsessed with the murder of his brother Paul, and is eager to prove that Ruby has some hidden agenda regarding his death. It's been really fascinating watching Isaac become gripped with this theory he's put together in his mind. I can't applaud Stevie enough for his mind-blowing performance!
To cover a few minor points of the recent episodes I have seen:-
Rainie and Stuart have finally chosen Bernie to be their surrogate
Jags ended up being murdered in prison
Suki blamed Vinny, to which Vinny then blamed himself and almost drank himself into oblivion
Seeking comfort, Vinny then ended up sleeping with Dotty, much to her regret
Dana found out the truth about Bobby's real identity and is left heartbroken
After some wise words from Peter, she decides to give Bobby a second chance
Phil and Kat have opened their new business together
After some wise words from Kat and Patrick, Denise allowed Phil to spend more time with Raymond
However he betrayed her trust by informing the young child that he was in fact his real Dad
Ben received some devastating news from Pam Coker
One of Paul's killers have been released from prison after only serving 5 years
Chelsea and Gray are now dating and he has asked her to move in! (HUGE RED FLAGS GOING UP!)
Overall it's been a dramatic and couple of weeks! Anyway the main reason I've wanted to write this post is that some exciting news was announced yesterday. EastEnders have cast Kate Robbins as the role of Jen Glover. The storyline regarding this new characters seems to be that she is introduced to the Square by Terry (Rocky) to suspend Whitney into the career of pop superstardom. This is quite an interesting turn for Whitney, I'm intrigued to see how all this will unravel. What will it mean for Whitney? Will she be successful or could this be another horrendous storyline which will see her get into some form of trouble? Who knows?!
Tumblr media
What are your thoughts on this upcoming storyline? Please feel free to let me know your thoughts! Oh that reminds me, regarding Janine's return, it seems that EastEnders will be putting together a huge fire stunt to welcome the power bitch back to the Square! What or who will cause the fire? Where will it be taking place? Could some of our beloved characters be seriously hurt? I for one am incredibly excited to see this all kick off!
Even though this has been a nice blog post, I will be away for a week now as I'm going away with my partner for my birthday, when I'm back I'll try my absolute best to get back to blogging. Thank you all for being incredibly understanding! I'm looking forward to getting back into my blog properly. Enjoy the rest of your week everyone and I'll be back very soon! Love you all xXx

"Another Time, Yeah?"
Tuesday 15th June 2021
(Part One & Part Two)
Hello again everyone, as promised I'm back with another post - 3 blog posts from me this week, that's more than I did last week!! But anyway I'm going to review everything from Tuesday's episodes in this post.
So without further ado, I'm going to begin with mentioning Ruby. The day after her second miscarriage, Martin is surprised to learn that once again she has every intention of going to work and forgetting about the events that have occurred. Martin tries his best to convince his wife to rest for the rest of the day but as Ruby tries to explain her reasons for wanting to go to work, she notices the screen on Martin's laptop, it shows that he's been looking up options for IVF.
Understandably, Martin is trying to help in any way he can to make sure he and his wife have they family they've been longing for. However Ruby makes the valid point that it's not the getting pregnant that's the problem, it's being able to stay pregnant. Martin tries to explain that if they really want to have a family they can consider other options available, but Ruby then drops the bombshell that after everything she's gone through she really can't bring herself to go through any more trauma and loss. She informs Martin that instead of trying to fight to have a family, she's going to embrace the family she already has.
However, later Ruby is seen alone, visiting the memorial that she and Martin created for their lost baby, she gently adds another stone to commemorate the second baby she has lost. As the camera spins we see that just across the patch of grass, Jean is sat on her own but as she turns around and notices Ruby, she joins her. Jean realises exactly what's happening and speaks softly to her. Informing Jean about the decision to not try for another baby and to accept the family she has, Jean makes a very touching statement - "You know what I see? I don't see a woman who's given up, I see a woman who's grieving, and I believe there's still a lot of fight in you!" - as beautiful as those words are, it completely hits Ruby to the core and she softly begins to cry, such a moving moment.
--
The next thing I'm going to mention is Tiffany and Keegan. It's the day of their photoshoot and Tiffany is completely excited about the press and media attention. Wanting to get her name out there also, she informs Keegan that she's come up with a name for their joint business - Something along the lines of "ButcherBakerBeauty-Baps?" ... (I'm sure they'll come up with a better name eventually!) Suddenly when Tiffany sees herself in the mirror she's horrified to see that the day of their photoshoot she been graced with a spot on her chin, frantically she begins to flap, claiming that she needs to look good for their photoshoot - I have to be honest the main thought that was entering my mind at this point was "The photoshoot isn't even meant to be hers so why is she making such a fuss?" - without meaning to be mean, but I don't know I guess it just didn't sit right with me, she shouldn't be focusing on her and should be supporting her husband instead.
As Tiffany calls her friend in desperate need of some assistance, it seems that her friend manages to get someone round to do Tiffany's make-up. However when Tiffany compliments the stylist's skin, the lady informs her that she does cheat by using injections such as Botox and fillers. Realising that injecting herself with something could change her appearance to the way she wants, Tiffany urges the beautician to use the injections on her for her photoshoot - even though the beautician warns her it can be very pricey! Again, I have to be honest - as soon as I realised that Tiffany was going to ask for injections my mind just went racing - how much do you want to bet that Tiffany is going to become addicted to beauty injections?! It could be a possible new storyline for her which could end with serious consequences?
Even though she is thrilled with the end results, Tiffany is shocked to see the price she has to pay for the treatment and asks whether she can pay half now and pay the rest within in the next couple of days. Later as Keegan and Tiffany are enjoying the photoshoot - the photographer is keen on focusing on Keegan and asking him questions about his business. But when Keegan tries to turn their attention to Tiffany so she can promote her business/brand - you can see that the photographer is the least bit interested.
The next day, as everyone is gushing about the article in the newspaper about Keegan, Tiffany buys herself a newspaper hoping to see a whole page spread of herself and her husband in the newspaper. But she is visibly devastated when she realises that she hasn't even been mentioned and the whole article is about Keegan and his business. She later voices her annoyance and devastation to her friend Chloe, claiming that she has spent a fortune on injections for nothing! But worse still, how is her husband going to react when he finds out she's spending money on things she doesn't need!
Chloe then suggests that in a way to make as much money as she can so Keegan won't suspect anything is for her to flog diet pills. She claims she doesn't know how they work and has never used them but manages to sell them and get decent enough money for doing so. For a split moment I had hoped that Tiffany would know better than to sell some dodgy diet pills, but it looks as though she is very tempted. Later when she meets up with Bernie, she confides in her friend about the money she has spent on fillers to make herself look good for the photoshoot.
Of course Bernie is sympathetic towards her friends, but then suddenly Tiffany starts rummaging in her bag for something and empties out the contents of her bag, quickly Bernie notices the tubs of diet pills she's in possession of and asks where she got them from and whether they work, it's then that Bernie drops the bombshell that she needs to lose weight quickly, and Tiffany is a bit surprised by her choice of words, asking why "Quickly". It's then that finally Bernie feel able to tell someone about her plans and informs Tiffany that she's agreed to be Rainie and Stuart's surrogate, much to her best friend's shock. Tiffany warns Bernie to be careful where Rainie and Stuart are concerned because when she offered to be their surrogate she recalled that they didn't leave her alone. But Bernie is adamant that she needs the money for her family and claims that her Mum believes that she'll be getting a bonus from the call centre. Eventually she practically begs Tiff to allow her to use the diet pills, she claims she can be her guinea pig in a way and will pay her once she's made her money from the surrogacy. Tiffany looks really reluctant to do so but makes Bernie promise that she'll read the instructions before taking them.
Honestly, I fear this is going to be a massive downward spiral for the both of them. Tiffany getting hooked on beauty injections and then Bernadette getting addicted to diet pills and both making themselves ill. What do you guys think?! I'm really intrigued to hear your thoughts on this one!
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Shirley is still reeling about the news of Linda's pregnancy, she still can't understand why she wasn't told much earlier on when she arrived back in Walford. She admits to Nancy and Frankie that she feels as though her family are shutting her out. I have to say though I loved the banter between the three of them in this scene. Nancy tries to swerve the conversation from her parents sex life to Shirley's own love life and happens to point out that she hasn't been with anyone since Buster!!!
Oh my goodness, do you guys remember Buster??? It was proven that he was in fact Mick's biological Dad, which makes him Nancy and Frankie's Grandad. Hearing that Frankie has a Grandad seemed to excite the girl, but she and Nancy still continue to make fun of Shirley - claiming that for her next birthday they're going to buy her a pair of slippers and a throw as they claim it's time for her to hang up her knee-high leather boots. I do love the jip that Shirley snaps back at them, it makes the whole scene much more comical and the dynamic between them all is just brilliant!
It's then they Frankie points to Terry sat on his own and urges Shirley to ask him for a drink, at first Shirley shows no interest but after being goaded by her Granddaughters, she eventually gets the courage to approach Terry and (in not so many words) informs him that he will be buying her a drink. The one thing that completely confused me though was that Terry called himself by the name "Rocky" as he introduced himself to Shirley, can anyone explain to me why? His name is Terry right? I don't understand where the "Rocky" came from? - Unless it's similar to Callum's name - Callum "Halfway" Highway?!
Meanwhile, as Terry agrees to have a quick drink with Shirley, Sonia is at home prepping a lovely roast dinner meal for herself and her Dad to celebrate and early Father's Day. But back in the pub, as Shirley and Terry begin to chat and get to know each other, Nancy and Frankie keep showering them with drinks. As the sisters notice that they appear to be getting on, Nancy places down another drink in front of them claiming it's on the house, while Frankie sneakily changes the time on the clock.
Terry is adamant he can only stay until 1pm as he has a lunch date with Sonia, but as he looks at clock to see he still has plenty of time, he continues to drink. Unfortunately though, both Frankie and Nancy reveal to each other that instead of giving them single vodka drinks, they've been serving them triple vodka's all shift. Eventually as things get a bit loud, Nancy and Frankie realise their mistake. Shirley and Terry are both drunkenly singing along to "Come On, Eileen!" and then eventually "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)".
I have to admit, even though it was hilarious watching drunk Shirley singing along to the music and having a laugh with Terry, you do feel sorry for Sonia as you realise that Terry has accidentally stood her up for her meal. Arriving at the Vic and seeing the drunken state her Dad is in, she demands Terry to leave Walford and to never come back. Over the next day or so, Terry is desperate to make it up to his daughter and he appears to think that the only way he can do it is to roll out the red carpet in her house for her and make her a meal of her own and instead of calling it "Father's Day" makes it a "Daughter's Day".
As Sonia agrees to give him one final chance, they make it up by taking a selfie together. But when Terry leaves his phone on the table and Sonia takes a look at the picture, she begins to scroll through his phone and sees that there are other photos of houses on his phone. What could these mean? Is he planning on moving to Albert Square for good? OR is he in some kind of business where some of the local properties are going to be knocked down? Who knows?!
--
The next thing I have to mention is Kat and Phil. Kat is completely excited to learn that things are on the move where her business with Phil is concerned. Phil has confirmed that he has bought the laundrette for their business opportunity and they're just waiting for the paperwork to go through. Only her happiness doesn't seem to last for long as when she enters the café and is confronted by Sharon, it seems that Sharon warns her that anything that Phil is involved in is never legit. Although Sharon's relationship with Phil was completely different compared to Kat's relationship with him, it seems that Sharon's words fill Kat's head with doubt. Eventually she takes it upon herself to confront Phil, claiming she wants to see the paperwork to make sure everything they're doing is legit. She claims that she has already been prison once and doesn't want to end up there again, she needs to be completely certain that going into business with Phil is the right thing to do. I think people are too easy to judge Phil, they should give him a break, he informs Kat that he shouldn't listen to a word that Sharon's said and to trust him, he wants to focus on their future and having something in place for both of their children, but more importantly if she is wanting this as much as he does, then she needs to learn to trust him. I still think that if all goes well for these two, Kat and Phil could potentially be the new power couple on the Square! What do you think?!
--
Lastly, Callum is still appearing to struggle with the trauma of what happened with his partner. The one person he's been able to confide in is Whitney. After anxiously waiting to hear news about his partner's condition, he was completely relieved when Ash informs him that Fitzy's operation was a success and he should make a full recovery.
As he excitedly informs Whitney about the good news, Whitney reminds him that he should tell Ben now, considering that Fitzy is going to be okay. Callum kind of shuts that comment down and asks Whitney whether she'll accompany him to the hospital to see his partner. However, without their knowledge, Ben sees them from across the Square getting into a cab together, I have to say Ben & Callum's married life hasn't really started off well has it? They've come back from their honeymoon, Phil is still reluctant to talk to either Callum or Ben as he stills holds a grudge against Callum for going behind his back, and Callum has had to deal with the trauma of witnessing his partner being stabbed on the job.
But even though Callum maybe wants to tell Ben about his, Ben did at the start find it hard to accept Callum in the police and had the cheek to ask him to quit, but realising that he loves Callum for who he is and not is job, changes his mind and just requests that Callum never speaks about work to him. So of course, with that in mind, Callum must feel that he has no one else to talk to about recent events, which is why he has leaned on Whitney over the past couple of days. But when Ben sees them getting into that car together, you can tell he's beginning to speculate what they could be up to.
Unfortunately, after returning from seeing Fitzy in the hospital, it looks like it hasn't really helped Callum cope with it, he begins to fret and lash out claiming it was his fault that he's in hospital with wires all attached to him. Almost hurting himself on the garden gate, Whitney acknowledges that she has seen Callum this way before, and it's all down to his PTSD - (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) - we know that he went through it when he was in the army, but now it appears to be resurfacing. The one thing that crossed my mind was, is Ben aware about Callum's PTSD? Has that always been a thing that Ben has known about, I'm a bit unsure?
However, it seems that Whitney is eager for Callum to inform his husband now more so than ever that what's been happening. But when Callum arrives home and Ben asks him how his day at work was, Callum lies to him once again claiming he's had a really busy day and just wants to have a shower alone. Now Ben knows that Callum is lying about being in work, so obviously he's going to be wondering what else he's lying about or not telling him. As Callum makes his way into the shower, Ben grabs his opportunity to search his rucksack and it seems he's completely stunned to find an engagement ring - of course he's going to be completely clueless and wondering why his husband has an engagement ring, but we know that before Fitzy was rushed to hospital, Fitzy gave it to Callum to give to his girlfriend.
I think Callum really needs to talk to Ben soon before he jumps to conclusions and lashes out, accusing Callum of something he's completely innocent of. Overall a good few episodes I have to say, I've really enjoyed being able to type up a couple of blogs this week, I was getting myself a little stressed out that I was so far behind and hadn't posted in a while, but again I want to thank you all for continuing to follow me and show your interest in my blog, it really means the world. Please feel free to send me any thoughts or opinions you may have on the current storylines. Enjoy the rest of your week and I'll be back very soon! Love you all xXx

"It's Not Yours!"
Tuesday 4th May 2021
Hello again everyone and good morning! I'm up bright and early today to make sure I get this post up! So in the previous post I recalled everything I had caught up on, and Monday's episode ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger. Now Callum has revealed everything to Ben, are they going to be able to move on from this?! I'm really looking forward to finding out, so without further ado, lets focus on the episode!
The first thing I'm going to mention of course is Ben & Callum! Ben appears to be seething after learning the truth about Callum's betrayal to his family. Even though we all know that Callum was blackmailed into going behind the Mitchell's back, he tries his absolute best to explain himself to Ben. But the one thing that Ben wants to know is who was behind it, as he slams the dining room table in anger he demands Callum tells him truth. Realising he's going to have to come clean, Callum admits that it was Thompson who was behind everything. Ben begins to panic, asking him what he actually knows or what he's been told. But Callum swears that Thompson knows nothing and he hasn't told them anything.
As things escalate, Callum tries to persuade Ben that if they still love each other they can both get through anything together, but for Ben there seems to be no way back from this. He can't seem to fathom that he's been sharing his bed with someone who has betrayed his family and basically become a grass. Later on, as Ben takes some time to breathe and digest what he's just learnt, he take a visit to his Mum's. Kathy can see that Ben isn't looking in the best of moods considering he's due to be married soon. As Ben makes a slight comment stating that she shouldn't have bothered collecting the wedding rings, Kathy sits beside her son and demands an explanation. Ben doesn't really tell her very much, only that Callum has lied to him about something, but Kathy finds that hard to believe and questions whether her own son is has played a guilty part in any way. She actually gives her son some good advice - Callum is the best thing that's ever happened to him, if he loves him he needs to sort things out before their wedding!
As Ben listens to his Mum, he returns to the Mitchell household where Callum is anxiously waiting for him. But this time, there is no raised voices and no arguing, Ben is more quiet this time. In my opinion, it looks as if Ben blames himself for the way Callum has become. He recalls that when they first met, Callum was sweet and honest and terrible liar, but since he's been with him, Ben seems to think that he's somehow turned his fiancé into something he's not. Callum shakes his head, not believing a word that's coming out of Ben's mouth. Ben still voices his concern of not being good enough for Callum, claiming that at some point in the future he will hurt Callum, possibly more than once - not that he'll ever mean to but at some point, Callum will end up hurt. Callum refuses to listen to his partner and asks him straight out whether he loves him or not. Even though Ben admits that he does love Callum, he announces that regardless of that - there isn't going to be a wedding! Could this really be the end of Ballum? Will Ben be able to forgive his partner and actually end up marrying the one person he truly loves?!
--
The next thing I have to mention is Isaac, we saw that he flushed his medication down the drain - are things slowly taking a turn for Isaac now he's off his medication? Whilst he's sat in the Cafe, he seems to be staring at the missing poster of Bailey - but suddenly he begins to rip down every poster he finds as he realises that they've missed a digit on the phone number. Everyone seems shocked by this action, especially Lola. Even though Isaac explains why he's ripped down the posters, it looks as if Lola questions whether ripping them down was the best idea? He could've simply taken them down without ripping them or just simply penned in the missing digit?
As Keegan and Bernie continue searching the streets for Bailey, Keegan is saddened to see one of their posters ripped. Bernie tries to console Keegan by explaining that it could've been immature kids. But as they go off on their separate ways, Keegan witnesses Isaac ripping down more posters. As anger boils up inside him he rushes after him and confronts him about why he's ripping down their posters. Once again Isaac notifies him that he was doing them a favour because they missed a digit. As Keegan checks over the poster he realises his mistake, his anger evaporates and turns into worry, speculating that people might've been trying to call trying to notify them that Bailey had been seen or even found. As Keegan apologises for his outburst, Isaac is completely understanding saying that he would've reacted exactly the same way.
However as the day goes on, Lola decides to pay her boyfriend a visit, only as she walks in she can see that he's looked like he's not slept and is completely obsessed over finding Bailey. Could these small signs be the sign of a breakdown for Isaac? Lola pleads that her boyfriends gets some rest otherwise his meds won't work. However as soon as she mentions his medication, Isaac goes cold and she can see that he's hiding something from her. He realises that he can't keep this secret from her and informs her that he's stop taking his medication, but he's feeling fine! Lola seems shocked to hear this news and questions whether it's the right thing to do, to make sure that Isaac will be okay without his medication, she makes him promise to inform his doctor about coming off his meds. But even though Isaac promises, I've got the feeling that he has no intention about informing his doctor or even his parents that he's flushed his medication.
Meanwhile as the Taylor's are still fretting about Bailey, Jack decides to inform them that another way of getting the word out there about Bailey's disappearance would be to do a TV appeal. Even though Karen agrees to do it, Mitch doesn't feel that it'll make much difference and hides himself away whilst Karen tries to come up with a speech. Will Bailey be found safe and well?!
--
Now the last thing I have to mention of course is the Carter's. As Nancy prepares to open up the gym with Sharon and Zack, Frankie pays her visit trying to inform her half-sister that she completely understands Linda's worry, but also acknowledges that she's on Nancy's side. At the end of the day it's her body and she can do what she wants, she just wants to be the supportive sister. This act of kindness seems to really touch Nancy, she thanks her half-sister and invites her to take part in a trial run of the electric bike. This is the moment where I think Nancy realises that she'll always have a sister there to support her - which I found really sweet!
Only, without Nancy's knowledge, her Mum has gone behind her back and gone to the clinic and cancelled her appointment. Linda of course only thinks she's doing right by her daughter, but she needs to understand that it's not her body, she can't control Nancy's life. Only as Linda tries to explain herself to the doctor, she becomes a little light-headed and has to take a rest. As the doctor offers to check her over to make sure she's okay, Linda seems to realise what is actually happening to her - she seems to think she might be pregnant!
Returning back to the gym whilst Nancy and Frankie enjoy some sisterly bonding, Nancy receives a call and it looks as if it's not the best news. As everyone comes together back at the Vic, Nancy is raging with anger and explaining the phone call she has had to her Dad, she's learnt that her Mum has actually gone behind her back and cancelled her appointment. As Linda enters she tries to explain that she was only thinking of her daughter, but Nancy is furious, shouting at her Mum that she's the one who actually shouldn't be allowed kids! As Nancy walks out leaving Linda and Mick alone - Mick is also shocked to hear what his wife has done and claims that if it's something that Nancy really wants, hopefully she'll be able to rebook her operation.
Linda admits that all her life all she's tried to do was be the best Mum and support her children, but then she states "Maybe I'll get it right next time!" - Mick looks a bit confused and asks what she means by "Next time". But the pin suddenly drops and Mick realises that Linda is informing him that she's pregnant with her fifth child. Mick is completely over the moon, the look on his face is pure joy as he states that this is what the family has needed for a long time, a fresh start and a new little one in the family is just what they need, he joyously even thinks that Ollie would love having a little friend around, but then Linda drops the bombshell that she's actually in fact 5 months pregnant - if the dates add up correctly, it might mean that Mick isn't the father of the baby, and she could actually be pregnant with Max's child!
Oooh gosh!!! This is going to cause more sadness between Mick and Linda isn't it? Will she decide to keep the baby? Will Mick be able to stand by her if she's carrying someone else's child? We know that Kellie Bright is also pregnant herself and will be going on maternity leave at some point in the near future, but what could be her temporary exit story? I've got the feeling that maybe this could be it? Could this pregnancy come between the couple and will she feel the need to leave for a little while? Who knows? What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the recent episode! Thank you all for reading! I am so happy to be back and I can't wait to post up again very soon! Enjoy the rest of your day folks! Love you all xXx

"If You Don't Get A Move On You're Going To Miss It!"
Monday 10th May 2021
Hello again folks! I'm back again with another post. I just want to recap on Thursday's and Friday's episode and applaud the phenomenal performance from Lorraine Stanley! Her portrayal of Karen Taylor has been absolutely stunning and powerful over the last few weeks during Bailey's disappearance and during the aftermath of her losing her job at the laundrette. I do also want to mention how the community and neighbours rallied round her to support their friend and neighbour in their time of need. I found completely touching and was overwhelmingly powerful.
But regarding this week, it's the week the majority of us have all been waiting for since Ben and Callum got engaged! This is the week of the highly anticipated Ballum wedding! Now the big question is, will Ben meet Callum at the alter after he's learnt the truth about him being a grass! (From what the new trailer is to go by, Ben does actually decide to marry Callum) - but oh my goodness, it looks like we're in for some super dramatic scenes this week! For those of you who haven't seen the trailer yet, where have you been? Gray is once manipulating Whitney in to believing that the Mitchell's (particularly Ben) are to blame for Kush's death.
But as Whitney’s grief gets the better of her, she takes it into her own hands to deal with the Mitchell's once and for all, taking a pair of keys, getting into a car and heading straight for them. As this is happening, Phil happens to have learnt the truth about Callum grassing up his family and is eager to have a confrontation with Callum himself, but as Kat tries her best to stop Phil from making a huge mistake - Phil, Callum, Ben and Kat all get caught in the headlights of Whitney's car - who will she hit? And will they be okay?! - I know a few are speculating that it could be Callum or Ben who gets hit, or even Whitney herself getting hurt, but honestly - my biggest fear is Phil getting hurt. Don't get me wrong I love all these characters to appear to be in the frame, but I would be immensely heartbroken if it was Phil to get hurt and possibly be killed off? Hopefully none of them will get killed off - but what are your predictions? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one!
--
So looking at Monday's episode and of course it's all about Ballum!!! But before we focus on the main event I'm going to mention Bailey. Sadly she is still sleeping rough after running away from home. The only company she has is her dog Banjo (who can I just say is the most adorable dog that EastEnders has had for a very long time!) It appears that the only bit of food she has available is a packet of biscuits and of course being a hungry puppo, Banjo longingly stares at Bailey for the biscuit she's about to eat. Bailey willingly gives Banjo the biscuit, but as she begins to gather her things together and move along, a bunch of youths rob her only bag of belongings. Being the hero, Banjo quickly chases after them as Bailey following along behind.
However, meanwhile on the Square as Keegan and Bernie continue to search for Bailey and begin to discuss their concerns about where they're going to find her. Bernie tries to keep positive, informing her brother that Bailey will be found and eventually their luck will change. Of course Keegan is doubtful, but of course we know that Bernadette has offered to be Stuart & Rainie's surrogate, so eventually she will come into some money for the family, but it'll be interesting once her family find out. I'm intrigued on how Keegan is going to react - considering that it was his wife who originally agreed to be their surrogate, now it's his sister!
As Bernie takes her leave, the next thing we see is little Banjo running towards the Square, however the poor little doggo is covered in blood. Keegan understandably relieved to see Banjo, but as soon as he sees the blood coming from the family pet, he begins to question where Bailey is. As Bailey continues her search for her beloved dog, she stumbles across an elderly man named Reg claiming to be a friend of her parents, Mitch and Dinah. Could Bailey perhaps be in danger or is this gentleman genuinely who he says he is?!
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Linda appears to be concerned for Nancy's whereabouts. She reveals that Nancy didn't come the previous evening, even though Mick seems more calmer about the situation, he tries to reassure Linda that Nancy had probably just stayed at a friend's house and would most likely be home by lunchtime, however unbeknown to them, poor Nancy had actually kipped in the gym overnight. It seems that things have gotten that bad between Nancy and her Mum, she could no longer bare to stay in the Vic overnight. As Sharon finds her as she opens up the gym, Nancy promises it's not going to be a long-term thing.
I guess Sharon kind of sympathises with Nancy as she too has felt the raff of Linda, but of course Sharon could be possibly using Nancy to get back into Linda's good books? She offers Nancy to use her shower back at her place and willingly gives her the keys to her apartment. Unfortunately, this is where Nancy once again passes ways with Zack and his awful flirtation. Sorry, but it is a bit cringe-worthy! Zack smooth talks his way with Nancy, claiming that once she's done in the shower he'll treat her to some breakfast!
I have to say I love Nancy's lack of enthusiasm, well I guess you could call it sarcasm also! Honestly though, how would you feel if Zack and Nancy were to become a new couple? I'm not sure how I'd feel about it, as much as I love Nancy, I haven't really made my mind up yet on Zack, I think we need to see a bit of him before I can make a decision. Anyway, they both end up in Ruby's club and Zack is once again flirtatious and eager to get a second date with Nancy, even though she even states that this is anything but a date! As she mentions how she's currently stuck in a ruckus with her Mum, she frets about not even being able to brush her teeth properly as she hasn't got a tooth brush, plus she wants to avoid going home to fetch her one and be confronted by her Mum yet again.
I think in an attempt to win Nancy round he promises that somehow, someway he will make all her problems disappear, but she scoffs at his claim and heads towards to the bar to grab some snacks. But while she's not looking Zack sneaks off and eventually finds himself in the Vic, nosing through all the Carter's belongings, is he simply just trying to find Nancy's toothbrush for her, or perhaps something else? Unfortunately his search doesn't last very long as he's walloped over the head with a frying pan by Linda! Almost like a scene from the Disney movie Tangled!

Right focusing on the main story at hand, as Callum and Stuart prepare themselves for the wedding, Callum voices his concern as to whether Ben will truly show up to their wedding. Stuart also voices his concern as to whether his brother should actually go, he can't bare to picture his young brother being left stood up at the alter. But the interesting thing is on the other side of the Square, as Kathy and Phil are discussing the wedding and the fact that Ben would be making a huge mistake if he didn't turn up, Ben is sat on the stairs in the hallway listening to their every word.
Kathy is all dressed up in her wonderful wedding outfit and of course little Lexi looks beautiful in her bridesmaid dress, rehearsing her steps for the wedding ceremony. Phil informs Kathy that Ben is adamant that the wedding is off, but Kathy urges the Father of their son to talk Ben round and make him see sense! Eventually as everyone gathers in the Vic waiting for Ben to show his face, Phil appears all dressed up his suit and breaks the news that Ben has gone missing, he's simply left his suit on his bed and disappeared, much to the family's shock.
While all this chaos appears to be happening in the middle of the Square, poor Callum and Stuart have made it to the register's office and are waiting anxiously for Ben's arrival! As they hear someone bursting through the doors, they look with hope and desperation, but it appears to be Jay. But as much as Callum is happy to see him, Jay gives him the devastating news that Ben has gone AWOL and no one can find him anywhere. Eager to make sure that his brother marries the man he loves, Stuart takes it upon himself to go back to the Square and find Ben and bring him to Callum.
Although it appears that Phil has managed to find Ben before he can. Phil eventually finds his son in the Arches working away on a car, almost as if he's trying to avoid the day itself and carry on as normal. Phil tries once again to reassure his son that marrying Callum would be the best thing he's ever done, even admitting that it took him a long time to come round - this moment really touched me - but also claiming that if Ben was to marry Callum today, it would Phil the proudest he has ever been of his son. I have to say those words really moved me, and to be honest I think it moved Ben - almost to the point where it nearly broke him and he almost revealed what Callum had done.
Ben gets so overcome with emotion, tears are slowly falling from his eyes. He almost breaks as he informs his Dad that Callum had betrayed him, all of them! Phil looks to his son with confusion in his eyes. What does he mean, all of them? But Ben stops in his tracks and makes up the excuse that Callum actually cheated on him. Although it seems as though Phil doesn't believe this explanation, he takes it on the chin and leaves Ben to it. However, once he's back on the Square he comes face-to-face with Stuart ... now this is where everything goes completely wrong! Of course Stuart has no idea what's been happening on the Square, he's just concerned about his little brother waiting at the alter for the man he loves.
As they cross paths, Stuart pleads Phil to inform her where Ben has got to, but Phil seems eager to defend his son after the explanation he's been given, as soon as Phil mentions that he welcomed Callum into the family, Stuart completely gets the wrong end of the stick and reveals everything. Claiming that Callum never wanted to go undercover, claiming that all he did it for was for Ben, putting his career on the line for Ben, even if it meant going behind Phil's back and reporting everything to the police. But you can see from the look in Phil's face that this is all news to him and this is the first he's hearing about Callum's betrayal. Once Stuart realises his mistake he warns that if Phil ever lays a finger on Callum he will come back and kill him!
Returning to the Arches, Ben is once again alone with his thoughts, is he questioning himself whether he should marry Callum? But it seems like another visit from a little lady changes his mind. Lexi finds him in the Arches and comments that it's the same place she finds him every time when Ben decides to take some time on his own. Now this moment I absolutely loved, Lexi questions her Father about love, What does it mean? What's it all about? She claims that she doesn't believe in love, considering that her Mum has had 3 different boyfriends since she's been home and her Grandparents have been married "300 times!". Her exaggerations make Ben giggle, but he tries to reassure his daughter that she should believe in love, because it's the one thing in life that you can't describe the feeling of. It can hurt but it's also wonderful too to be in love. He claims that being with that one person who trusts you and believes in you is the best feeling in the world and with them by your side, you face the world together, forever. As he explains all this to his daughter, she then asks the very important question, "Then why aren't you marrying Callum?"
Listening to his own words and realising that it's been his daughter who's made him see sense, Ben rushes to the wedding reception. As the guests almost sit themselves up and get ready to leave as they believe Ben isn't showing up, Stuart arrives back at the wedding reception eager to inform his brother about what's happened on the Square between him and Phil. But before Stuart can begin to explain himself, both Lexi and Ben burst through the door just in time for the ceremony, to Callum's absolute happiness and relief.
Only unbeknown to them, back at home, Phil is seen listening to a voice message from Kathy, informing him that the wedding appears to be back on. Ben has arrived at the wedding reception and she urges him to get there before he misses his son getting married. As the voice message ends, Phil notices a picture of Callum on the shelf, all dressed up smartly in his police uniform. Reeling from the news he's learnt from Stuart, he smashes Callum's picture to pieces. What is Phil going to do now?

"He's My Brother?!"
Tuesday 16th March 2021
Part One
Hello again everyone, hope you're all doing well! I wanted to share some personal news with you, I received my first Covid-19 vaccine yesterday, we're slowly on the path on getting things back to some form of normality! Who knows, maybe soon EastEnders might be able to go back to its original 30 minutes, even though I'm enjoying it and don't care how long the episodes are, it'll just feel normal, right? Anyway, I've seen a few spoilers regarding these two episodes, I'm really intrigued to write about these episodes. Tuesday aired two episodes of EastEnders so I'll be doing two posts to review each one.
Monday's episode ended on such a cliff-hanger, it's only right that I start this blog with mentioning Lucas and Chelsea first. The episode opened right there Monday left off, Chelsea and Lucas are at the airport preparing to go to Ibiza with suitcases full of drugs. Chelsea's suitcase is currently being checked, she's stood in absolute panic about what the security guard is going to find. Only when he reveals a bottle being over the correct amount she's allowed to take, I got really confused! I was completely and utterly convinced that Lucas had given Chelsea the drugs as a way of teaching her a lesson, and not in a bad way but in a cruel-to-be-kind kind of way. But as soon as Lucas begins to walk through with his suitcase, Chelsea hears commotion from behind and Lucas is surrounded by armed guards. The interesting thing is, Lucas doesn't hesitate, calmly and willingly, he drops the suitcase, opens it up to reveal the amount of drugs stored inside it, Chelsea watches on in dismay as her Father basically gives up on the whole job. Lucas looked over at his daughter, but the look on his face, I couldn't quite tell what he was doing? Was he doing this to save his daughter?
Frantically, Chelsea later arrives home, informing her Mum that Lucas has been arrested and he plain and simply gave up the drugs as if he'd planned it. Denise is visibly shook to hear but she's more relieved to know that Chelsea is safe and no harm has come to her, as far as she's concerned, Lucas can look after himself, whereas Chelsea needs her family around her. However, Chelsea seems to think that Lucas has given up the job on purpose, and now because the job hasn't gone through, Chelsea and the rest of the family could be in danger.
Returning to the airport, Lucas has been taken to side room, there he is begging the officer to allow him one phone call. At first the officer seems to think he's part of a drug gang and is wanting a call to let his comrades know about his arrest, however when Lucas mentions that it's to do with his family and that they could be in danger, it looks as if the police officer suspects he could be telling the truth and allows the phone call. As Denise and Chelsea are at home, Jack is there trying to keep them calm and discuss what actions could be taken due to Lucas's arrest, but of course his main concern is to keep Denise and Chelsea safe, if Caleb finds out the job hasn't been done, he knows that the Fox family could be in huge danger, he instructs them to not go on their phones and don't answer any calls or answer the door to anyone but himself. It's then that he receives a phone call from Lucas, pleading to for his help. What on Earth could Lucas be asking of Jack? Will Lucas be okay? (Of course some of you may have already seen the second episode, but as I haven't, I'm going to be speculating, please no spoilers, thank you!)
--
The next thing I want to mention is Bailey and Bernadette. The sisters are still deeply saddened by Bronson's passing, but as they sit in the park with Mitch, they continue to discuss Bronson's personality and his favourite foods. Always the best way to remember a happy doggo! Unfortunately, as the family reminisce about their beloved pup, Mitch has devastating when he hears a job opportunity had fell through, which he was hoping would keep him going until the winter. Are the Taylor family falling on hard times? Are they really struggling for money so much right now?
Bailey however tries to reassure her Dad, informing him that he has to keep positive as something will come up eventually, but she also drops the bombshell that he wouldn't have to pray for Astronomy Camp for her as she didn't win her competition, both Bernie and Mitch voice their disappointment for Bailey as she begins to feel sorry for herself.  But suddenly a little surprise makes the young girl begin to smile, a little dog approaches her as she holds food in her hand, it appears to not be wearing a collar and no one is around to claim the dog, must be a stray. Happily Bailey interacts with dog and smiles to her Dad that it's a sign from Bronson.
Seeing the little pup bring a smile back onto his daughter's face, he later approaches Karen about the possibility of keeping the new found dog. I also just want to mention how adorable the new dog is, I know not many dog last for long on the Square, but it would be nice for them to fill the void of Bronson. I don't think EastEnders have ever had a better dog since Wellard. They need a pet who's going to become memorable, and with one as adorable as this new pup, it could really work. Karen unfortunately is against the idea of getting a new dog, mainly because they can't afford it. But something tells me that maybe she's just not ready to get over Bronson, maybe? I feel if you've been able to afford a dog before, there's no reason why you can't get another one after? Right?! Mitch really wants to cheer his daughter up, I'm hoping Mitch will go and find the new dog, adopt him and bring him in to their family.
--
The next thing I have to mention is Ash and Suki, after finding her daughter at home alone with Peter, Suki takes it upon herself to confront Ash about the fact that she's been suspended from work, of course she has no idea why, but we all know it's because of Peter begging her to give him pain medication whilst off duty. As the ladies begin to argue, Ash tries to reassure her Mum that everything will be fine when she attends the hearing, she'll be able to explain and she'll get her job back. But Suki begins to fret, considering how much she cares for her family, and more so their reputation, I reckon?
Peter takes it upon himself to interrupt, informing Suki that Ash wouldn't have been suspended if it wasn't for him, this makes Suki realise that it's all Peter's fault, but the devastating blow is that her daughter could potentially lose her job because of a boy! Later on, as things begin to cool off, Suki is alone at the family business as Ash visits her, without Peter in tow. She begs her Mum to not worry and let things slide as she and Peter have a plan of way of getting her job back, but Suki seems to really struggle as the realisation sinks in, she voices that the reason she's so upset is that was she so proud of her daughter for getting so far with her career, for the job role she took on in life, how she has become successful in life, and now she fears that because of Peter, everything could be taken away from her! For me, I found it interesting to see this side of Suki, we know she loves the idea of power and success, but to actually hear that she's proud of one of her children, seems that maybe she really just wants the best for her family.
--
Okay, now the main event! After hearing the news that Gavin has passed away, Kathy and Sharon are discussing whether to attend the memorial. Of course, Sharon isn't interested in sharing memories of her biological Father, needless to say she doesn't have any fond memories of him, Gavin did have a bad reputation after all. Kathy however, considering as she was married to him once - I'm assuming, we know for sure she loved him and/or dated him, is considering going, whether Sharon joins her or not. As far as Sharon is concerned he can "Rot in hell!"
However, after a few wise words from Callum about Dad's in general, regardless whether they were pigs or not, it's always best to be the bigger person, Sharon then decides to tag along with Kathy and attend the memorial. As the arrive Kathy realises that she recognises a few faces, where of course Sharon knows nobody. Sally, Gavin's sister approaches them and thanks Kathy for coming, regardless of the awful things Gavin did, she makes the valid point that she did love him once.
As they look around the room, there is one bloke in particular who seems to be downing a lot more alcohol than others, he seems to be banging to people and knocking into the bar, eventually this man decides to make a speech, but it's not one of the speeches you'd expect. But however, to Sharon's interest, he seems to be saying things which she would actually agree with. Gavin was the scum of all scumbags. This speech however doesn't sit well with other family members and the young man dashes over chairs and tables to escape the angry mob!
As Kathy and Sharon make their exit, they watch as everyone gathers in the parking lot. However Sharon seems to have somehow managed to get her hands on Gavin's urn, without a second thought she simply dumps it into a litter bin, much to Kathy's shock. Looking for the drunken, suspicious man who rudely corrupted the memorial, both Kathy and Sharon seem to notice that their car has been left un-open. Realising that the young man could be hiding in their car, they make a subtle entrance and sit in the front seats. This scene looked like something out of a comedy, the young man appears between them in the backseat, shushing them not to give away his hiding place. Unfortunately, for the young man, the angry mob begin taking their anger out on his sports car - I did find this pretty comical as Kathy and Sharon both describing the damage being made to his car as he hides on the backseat. After the angry mob seem to finish off the last of their damage and head back into the building, Kathy asks the young man his connection with Gavin, how did he know him? Why was he at the memorial? Were they business partners or something?
But then as he walks away, he drops the big bombshell, introducing himself as Zack and that Gavin was in fact his Dad! As he walks away to his damaged car, both Kathy and Sharon look at each other in their shock as they come to realise Sharon has a brother she never knew existed!
Now I just want to say, most of us recall what happened when Sharon found out about another long-lost brother, however, I have to make the valid point that Dennis was in fact an adoptive brother. Den Watts was her adoptive father, so technically Sharon and Dennis were never really blood related, which I guess is why their romance can be looked to one side, however, Zack would be Sharon's Half-Brother! People might think history will be repeating itself if Zack was to become Sharon's new love interest, but I'd hope that EastEnders wouldn't go down the route of incest. It would be interesting though to see how Sharon will come to terms with knowing about her secret brother, will she want to build a relationship with him? Will he want to know her? Could they bond knowing that they've both had such a horrid man for a Father? Who knows?
I'm really looking forward to seeing the second episode following this one, I will be posting about it tomorrow, but in the mean time please no spoilers for me. I'll look forward to blogging about it tomorrow! Thank you again for reading! Love you all xXx

"I'm Your Father, Love!"
Tuesday 18th May 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all doing okay, I'm back with another post and tonight I'll be reviewing Tuesday's post episode. However before we get started I have a little bit of news to share, which I'm sure the majority of you might've heard by now. Adam Woodyatt has announced that he's not going to be returning to Albert Square until at least 2022! So of course, for me, that raises the question - What has Ian been doing all of this time? Where did he go when he wondered off into the night? I know that there's going to be some major questions to be asked. We all last saw Ian leave the Square after he realised that his new wife, Sharon was poisoning him after she found out about his involvement in her son, Dennis's death. I hope Ian's return will be a big one, considering the way he left - with no money, no phone - just the clothes on his back, I'm eager to see where he has been and what he's been doing. What do you guys think?
Tumblr media
Anyway, focusing on the episode at hand, firstly I'm going to begin with Katy and Frankie. Considering that Monday's episode ended with Katy returning to the Square, it wasn't going to be long until she crossed someone's path. Unfortunately for Frankie, it turns out her Mum has come back to the Square to see her. As Frankie is sat quietly in the club, she's startled as she looks up to see her Mum standing over her. Katy tries to plead with her to have one last drink with her before she gets locked up, but Frankie is having none of it. Although when she escapes from her Mum arrives back at the Vic, she realises that Mick's victim statement is all placed in an envelope and ready to be read out loud in court.
To me it seems that Frankie was struggling whether to go and see her Mum or not, because at the end of the day, she is her Mum. Eventually Frankie agrees to meet with her Mum in the park, without anyone else around. At first it looks as if they're bonding as Katy recalls about the time she took her daughter to the beach around Christmas time. It looks as if Katy is still holding onto the hope that she can be seen as a good person in her daughter's eyes. Eventually it becomes perfectly clear what Katy is wanting from her daughter, she questions whether Frankie will give her a character reference so the court can see what kind of person she can be. But Frankie realises that once again she's being used by her Mum, she walks away completely ignoring her Mother. I do feel for Frankie as she is kind of in the middle of all of this, but she needs to realise that she has no blame in any of it, all the blame leads directly to Katy.
Returning to the Vic, Frankie confides in Shirley, informing her of her Mother's request but she makes it known that she completely refused, much to Shirley's delight. Shirley claims she's proud of Frankie for doing the right thing and how she always knew she was on their side. I think as much as Frankie is wanting to stand by her Dad and help him through this ordeal, I guess a part of her is also thinking that she's also losing her Mum in all of this. I think I do feel for Frankie right now, but I am really intrigued to see the court scenes when they air. Will Mick be able to read his statement in court with Katy sat right there in the room?!
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Sharon is prepping herself for the launch of her new gym, however she's getting very little help from Zack. As she voices her ideas to him, he's insulting every single suggestion. He informs her that she needs to think bigger and advertise on social media and consider that people are going to be wanting to join the gym, so she should have some fresh smoothies made etc etc.
As Zack tries to, once again, show off, Martin and Ruby happen to be walking with Lily across the Square. Is it me, or does this Zack think that he's God's gift to women? Showing off and flirting with anything that moves, but it seems his eyes are focused on Ruby at the moment - and Martin is really noticing which is making him incredibly jealous and possibly even cautious. Only did you guys happen to see the look on Lily's face? Do you think she has sussed out that her Dad may be jealous of Zack?
Later as Zack is trying out a new cocktail, I'm not 100% sure whether it was something new for the club or something he was working on for the gym launch, but regardless he gets Ruby to be his guinea pig. However, lurking in the corner, sitting and watching everything unfold in front of her, is Lily. Ruby happens to notice her step-daughter and questions why she's not in school. Lily makes up an excuse and instantly asks her step-mum whether she has a crush on Zack, which of course Ruby firmly denies and informs her not to get involved in "Adult Business!"
However, it looks as if the cogs are turning in Lily's mind. I'm assuming she still really doesn't look Ruby and will do anything to make her life a misery, maybe even split her and her Dad up. As she returns him and is sat watching TV with her Dad, Martin asks about what she's been doing whilst he's been away. It's then that Lily spins a web of lies, telling her Dad that Ruby wasn't around much and she was hanging around with Zack a lot, even mentioning that Zack had stayed over. Knowing full well how this would make her Dad feel, I think it's simply to do with Lily getting back at Ruby, purely for her Mum's sake. Is there anything Lily won't do to ruin Martin and Ruby's marriage?!
--
Another thing I have to mention is Bernie! Now Bailey has returned home, the Taylor family are slowly getting back to normal and having the family together again. Even though the family are terrified to let Bailey out of their sight. Bailey overhears Karen shouting for her in a blind panic, but once Karen realises that she's still safe and sound in the apartment, Bailey realises how worried her family were about it, claiming that she's seen all the online posts about her online. Does Bailey now feel guilty for running out on her family? Did she really believe that her family would be better off without her? The poor kid!
But it seems that Karen isn't the only one who's concerned about Bailey's whereabouts, it looks as if Keegan is eager to keep a close eye on her also. He mentions to Tiffany that he and Bernie will be taking Bailey out for some lunch. Later as they all gather at McKlunky's, Keegan asks his sister about this "bonus" she'll be getting from Kheerat. But Bernie reassures her brother that he doesn't have to match her money, and he doesn't have to pay her back either. As a sweet and joking gesture, she informs him that as soon he has made his first million, that he can pay her back!
However, the previous episode, Rainie informed Bernadette that she and Stuart are going to be finding another surrogate, so if Bernie is eager to make some quick cash for her family then she needs to act fast! Desperately she approaches Rainie begging her to give her a chance, to the point where she pushes herself to inform Rainie that she can lose the weight within a month! Rainie realises that Bernie is deeply serious about her surrogate and agrees to give her the one month deadline for her to lose weight so she can be their surrogate and carry a baby safely.
Now I fear that this is where Bernie's eating disorder is going to come in, I know what it's like to lose weight, it can be a long and hard process - weight does not simply drop off you within a month! I fear that Bernie may make some drastic and hard decisions when it comes to her eating now. Will she perhaps start making herself sick? Or will she not eat at all and eventually go light headed and pass out? There could so many different and dark roads this storyline will take, I just hope there will be no lasting damage to both Bernadette, and the soon to be baby she'll be carrying - if it ever gets to that point! What do you guys think of this current storyline? I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts on this one!
--
The final thing I have to mention is Sonia! Oh poor Sonia! After overhearing Dotty and Tiffany taking the mick out of her and calling her horrendous names, it looks as if Sonia is feeling as if she's aged since leaving the Square. Almost to the point where she feels it's time for her to change her look, she approaches Denise in the salon and asks her to give her a new do - from what we gather, something along the lines of what Dua Lipa has!
Now Denise questions Sonia's decision and can see that maybe Sonia is having some kind of breakdown. She swiftly talks her into having a drink with her at the Vic. I have to say though, this scene between Sonia and Denise I absolutely loved. We don't get to see these two women socialise enough, it was just so lovely to see Denise reassure Sonia that she's not as "Boring" as some people think she is! She is a very important part of the community and mentions rightly how much Sonia has had to cope with over the last year, being a nurse and regards to the pandemic. It made it feel quite realistic for me, everyone knows how much we have needed the NHS this last year or so and how hard every single NHS employee has worked to keep us all safe! Even though the pandemic is real and Sonia is a fictional character, it was just nice for someone to reassure her that she is important and she is deeply loved within the community. I also have to say how much I love Denise also - I don't think Diane Parish gets the recognition she deserves!
However as the drinks begin to flow, Denise and Sonia begin talking about Dotty. Denise informs her that she shouldn't listen to anything Dotty has to say, but unfortunately lets slip that Dotty has been performing as a hostess at the club. Learning this news, Sonia storms right over to the club and instructs Dotty to stop doing what she's doing, flaunting herself over middle aged men for money! However, she happens to insult a man standing by the bar, calling him a pervert! Dotty is left absolutely humiliated, but personally - it felt good to see Dotty be told straight! Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Dotty, but I think becoming a hostess and dragging Tiffany in to doing it also, just doesn't seem right. I don't think she's no where near as bad as her Father, but I think she'll always have a rebel side to her!
Oh so finally Brian Connelly has made his first appearance on the Square as Terry Cant. His first encounter was accidently bumping into Rainie. But as he continued to wonder Walford, he found himself in Ruby's club, working up an audience telling them a really interesting story, from what I could make out! However, he happened to be the one who was caught up in Sonia's confrontation with Dotty, being the one called a pervert.
As Sonia returned back to the Square and began chatting once again with Denise and Tiffany, she was horrified to see that the "Pervert Man" had followed her back to the Vic. As she makes herself scarce by hiding underneath the table, Terry begins to ask for Sonia Fowler. But as Denise questions what he wants her for and whether she's done anything wrong, Terry informs them that she in fact hasn't done anything wrong, but called her Dad a pervert! Yep, that's right! Terry Cant is Sonia's Dad!!!! Where has he been all this time? How will Sonia react to her Father rolling up on the Square?
I know that Thursday's episode has already aired, but I'm looking forward to reviewing that episode tomorrow! Do you hope that Terry will become a permanent member of the cast? What else will bring him to Walford other than reconnecting with his daughter? I have to be honest, I'm looking forward to seeing what Brian Connelly will bring to the Square. I know he's well known for his comedy, but I'll be interested to see if they bring a more serious and maybe dark side to his character. I just think it'll give Brian Connelly that chance to shine and prove he can be a brilliant actor as well as a brilliant comedian! What do you guys think??
Thank you all for reading, it truly means the world! Please feel free to leave me a comment or leave me a message regarding anything currently happening in EastEnders right now. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts, opinions and theories! Love you all xXx

"How Do You Sleep At Night?!"
Thursday 8th April 2021
Hello again folks! We're back with another episode in my attempt to catch up, of course there was not an episode on Friday evening due to the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Philip - but that does mean that Monday was given two episodes! (Feeling slightly stressed with the amount of episodes I need to catch up on!) Plus being back at the day job and trying to save for a house is proving a bit stressful - but I want to let you all know I am committed to sticking to this blog, I've been at it for over a year so why should I stop now?!
I'll try my very best to catch up through out the week, but my post may have to be posted late in the evening, just a heads up incase you guys think I'm not posting! Anyway, let's get right to it and focus on the matter at hand, I'm going to begin first with mentioning Bailey, it turns out that Bailey has actually won the competition she applied for with the school, but she hasn't had the heart to inform her family about the win, knowing they won't be able afford the cost of her going to her expedition.
Unfortunately, as Bailey and her Dad are out taking little Banjo out for a walk, Isaac happens to congratulate Bailey on her win, much to Mitch's surprise. As Mitch begins to question his daughter, she admits that the hotel would cost them £200 and £30 for the coach trip. Mitch tries his absolute best to persuade his daughter not to worry and informs her that he will find the money some how for her go to on her trip. But as Mitch walks away leaving Bailey alone with little Banjo, she happens to notice the flyer advertising Banjo as lost dog "Ziggy"!
As devastating as it is for her, Bailey knows that she has do to the right thing and give Banjo back to his rightful owner. She get's Bernie to help her contact the owner and they arrange to meet up in the park. Only Bernie makes up a story about finding him behind some bins - I don't know about you guys but the dog didn't seem happy to see it's owner, you'd think it would recognise it's owner by sense of smell?! Personally, I believe the dog is actually more happy living with the Taylor's, even the girl could tell that the dog had been looked after. It's then that Bailey admits that they've been looking after the dog for a couple of weeks but had no idea that he was a lost dog. As the girl takes her dog and walks away, without a second glance at Bernie, for a split second the dog looks back at Bailey and Bernie, and I don't know why but for some reason, I am hoping the dog will be reunited with the Taylor family again, I'd like to think that we haven't seen the last of this adorable pup!
--
The second thing I have to focus on is Sharon and the arrival of her long lost half-brother, Zack! It look as if after his very much unwelcoming arrival to the Square, Zack slept in his car overnight outside of Sharon's apartment, regardless of Sharon making it perfectly clear to him that she didn't want him around and instructed him to go home! As Zack gets out of his car he pleads for his sister just hear him out, he claims he's not here for anything and wants anything from her, he just simply wants to talk.
However, when Jay approaches acknowledging the look of Zack's car, Zack almost insults Jay, warning him not to touch his car. As much as innocent as the situation was, I think his insult to Jay was a bit uncalled for, and it also gives an insight to his character, even Sharon makes a comment to him about interreacting with the locals. But in an attempt to make it up to her, he suggests taking her for breakfast so they can at least sit down and get to know each other.
Things seem to go well it seems at first, they begin to discuss Gavin and how each of them spent their childhood, it seems that they have some kind bond when it comes to discussions about their biological Dad, even though Sharon was adopted, her memories of Gavin aren't necessarily nice ones, but neither are Zack's and unfortunately, Gavin did bring him up! It appears that they are actually getting along. But as Kheerat walks in, Sharon begins to apologise to him for missing their date, but even then Zack's attitude towards the locals still doesn't impress Sharon, especially when he claims to Kheerat that Sharon can do better than him. But whilst Sharon still tries to arrange a second date with Kheerat, Zack discreetly nicks a pair of keys from Sharon's handbag!!! Doesn't appear to be the doting new brother does he?!
Later as Sharon is alone sorting out things for the gym, Jean approaches her with a bunch of flowers as a way of an apology for causing damage to her gym equipment, but luckily Sharon gives her the good news that she was in fact insured for all the damages. As Jean breathes a sigh of relief she compliments how things are slowly coming together, but when she happens to mention Sharon getting along with brother and mentioning that she saw Zack entering her flat, Sharon is instantly on the march to find out what her brother is up to!
Clearly, Zack is looking for something, he pretty much turns her apartment upside down and he searches high and low for something. Also I have to mention how I never realised that Sharon is now staying in the apartment that Mick and Linda were briefly staying in before they returned to the Vic! It's almost like they've simply swapped properties! Eventually Sharon finds her brother searching deep in her wardrobes, calling out to him and claiming that she knows exactly what he's after. It turns out that Gavin left Sharon a box, but the funny thing is, he left Zack the key to open it - so maybe he wanted his two children to meet one day?! As they both agree that whatever lays inside the box they'll go halves on, with hope they open the old metal black box. Unfortunately all that it holds inside is papers and memories such as old birthday cards, Zack is clearly angered - was he hoping for something else? Was there something more he was hoping to get his hands on?!
As they come to terms with the fact there was nothing of value in the box, Zack begins to reminisce about his Dad, recalling about a time when he made him fairy cakes but his Dad showed no sense of pride and informed his son not to embarrass him again, Sharon begins to feel a sense of compassion for her brother. I guess it's fair to say they've never had it easy when it's come to their parents - biological or adoptive. She opens up to Zack, informing her about her son Dennis and admits that maybe it would be nice to have a brother around? It looks as if there's some mutual ground between them, could this be the start of a powerful sibling relationship?!
--
Meanwhile, it looks as if Kush is having deep concerns about Ruby bringing up his son, Arthur. Poor Arthur has been dragged from pillar to post, losing his Mum, moving out of his Nan's to live with his second Dad and Stepmum. As little Arthur kicks a football about on his own, Kush admits to Whitney that little Arthur has spoken about shouting accruing whilst he's been staying with Ruby and Martin. Of course Kush trusts Martin with his son, but his biggest concern is Ruby.
In an attempt to build bridges and maybe find out a bit more, Kush takes it upon himself to visit Ruby alone. I think he spoke to Ruby in a very adult and mature way, he didn't go in all guns blazing and acknowledged that it must be hard with having 3 children suddenly to look after, especially considering the loss they have both been through, it's expected that sometimes parenting can get the better of you. Parenting isn't easy, that's for sure. He does however voice his concerns for Arthur and whether he wants him to be around raised voices.
But as much as Kush is being polite and reasonable, Ruby seems to think that he's attacking her, personally, and if Martin was present he wouldn't be voicing his concerns to Ruby. But the fact is that Kush knows exactly what Ruby is capable of and states that he can fill Martin in if he was pushed far enough, but Ruby calls his bluff - knowing full well that he wouldn't, simply because of his son! Ooooo I know it's coming, but I can't wait for Ruby to get her comeuppance! What do you guys think?!
--
Lastly, Kat and Phil are still sneaking about, it looks as if Kat had actually spent the night at the Mitchell household. Even though she's cautious of being seen, Phil informs her that Ben and Callum are aware of their romance and are happy for them to be seeing each other. Kat seems surprised by this news, it seems that she is deeply concerned about what people would say if they were to find out. I think it's perfectly clear that both Phil and Kat aren't quite ready to go public yet.
But, if they were to go public, what would they be going public as? A couple?! Friends With Benefits? Who knows? As far as Kat is concerned, they haven't had "The chat" - and everyone knows what she means by that! Whether their fling is something casual or whether it's leading to something more serious? I mean, at first it probably was just a bit of fun, but it's seems to be escalating as time goes on. Does Kat maybe want more from Phil than just fun and a romp? Are there feelings slowly growing for each of them?!
Later on, as Kat is doing her shopping in the Minute Mart, she happens to overhear Phil on the phone booking a couple's holiday away, from the sound of it, it sounds very romantic, a sea view cabin in a glorious destination! Poor Kat, she instantly assumes that Phil is booking them an exotic get away and instantly grabs a bottle of sun lotion! As the day progresses, Kat eventually finds Phil alone in the Arches and shows off the sun lotion that she's bought, asking him to wipe some on her back. At first, Phil seems to think she's joking, but as it comes clear that Kat believes they're going on holiday together, Phil puts her straight claiming that the holiday he has booked is actually a honeymoon for Ben and Callum.
Poor Kat instantly feels completely humiliated. Is she wanting to actually enter a proper relationship with Phil or is she getting the feeling that this fling is going nowhere? Everyone knows that Phil isn't the romantic type, but of course he was doing a nice gesture his son on his fiancé. I guess it's fair to say that Phil and Kat don't want their relationship to become public, but they still want to be together - whether that means intimately, emotionally - it could mean everything. Phil actually admits that he actually does like Kat and in a attempt to make it up to her, he suggests they go for meal, just the two of them.
Kat smiles, admitting that he's not exactly Shakespeare, but she's happy to finally be going somewhere with Phil other than the bedroom. Later on in the evening as Kat and Phil go their separate ways, Kat opens her front door to find a bunch of flowers left on her wall, reading the tag on the flowers she realises they're from Phil, maybe there is a romantic side to him after all?! Only, as Whitney witnesses Kat laughing on the phone to an unknown male, gushing over the bunch of flowers, she approaches her claiming that while Kat appears to be enjoying herself, Kush's life is on the line, he's facing prison simply because of Kat! She can't seem to understand why Kat seems to have forgotten about Kush's sacrifice to save his family.
Quite an interesting episode, once again, a lot of different things happening at once, but I'm really excited to see what happens next! I'm going to try and catch up as much as I can this week, but I want to thank you all for being incredibly patient with me! It really means the world! Thank you for your on-going support and I'll be back again very soon! Enjoy the rest of your day! Love you all xXx

“Come On, You!”
Monday 14th June 2021
(Part 1)
Hello everyone! I'm back from a huge week off! Instead of wittering on about episodes you've already seen I've decided I'm going to make some headline points of what happened last week and then jump straight into this week. But before I do there is a bit of EastEnders gossip that I need to share with you, Charlie Brooks has officially been seen entering and/or leaving the EastEnders set at Elstree Studios! I don't know about you, but this sighting of her has made me hugely excited - I am excitedly awaiting Janine's return to the screens!!! Check out these stunning new promo pictures of Charlie Brooks back on the Square as Janine Butcher!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elsewhere, EastEnders have also announced another addition to their cast, Ross Boatman has been cast as the role of Harvey Monroe - Dana's Father! For those of you who don't remember, Dana is the young girl who Bobby has recently been seeing/dating. He's said to be a proud East End family man who is fiercely protective over his daughter. We know that Bobby has been hiding his true identity from Dana, going by the name of Rob - Will Harvey end up digging for information about the lad his daughter is seeing? Will he find out the truth about Bobby's identity and will he put everything in his power to stop him seeing Dana?!
Tumblr media
So highlighting the main points from last week, I'm going to make a few bullet points on the main events:-
Ben asks Callum to leave the police, but after witnessing his partner being stabbed, Callum finds it hard to open up to him. Ben later realises that he can't ask his husband to make the biggest sacrifice for him, so he informs Callum that he can live with him being a policeman, but to never speak to him about work. So of course Callum is left feeling lost and ends up taking his anger/sadness/frustration out on a brick wall.
Ruby asks Lola and Isaac for advice on how to win over Lily. Ruby has been seen as The Wicked Stepmum in Lily's eyes, but after some mothership advice from Lola, Ruby reaches out to Lily and they come up with an agreement. However, Isaac also decides to step in and buys the children a pet rabbit - much to everyone's surprise. But the one thing that gets a bit awkward is when Isaac starts questioning Ruby about her Dad and eventually comes across a picture of Johnny Allen with his deceased brother, Paul.
After being mugged, Kat is furious at Phil for not being there to support her in her time of need and instead of supporting her he's still holding a grudge against Callum. However Phil later tries to cheer her up by informing her that he's considering buying the laundrette as he wants something legit for Raymond in the future, and asks Kat to be his partner in their new business opportunity.
Violet appears to be making foes instead of friends as she tries to set up Honey with Stuart - but Rainie still isn't happy about her Mother-In-Law still living with them and informs her husband that she wants her out. Violet then almost ruins their change of having a surrogate after interrupting Rainie's meeting with a candidate. But when Rainie confronts her and informs her to leave, Violet admits she doesn't have a home. As they talk their differences though and get prepared to welcome Abi home, Jack gives them devastating blow that Max has run off with Abi.
Elsewhere Bernadette is still trying her hardest to lose weight so she can go through with being Rainie and Stuart's surrogate - after seeing her running with Tiffany, Rainie approaches Bernie and admits that even thought they're grateful for her determination to lose the weight - they're going to look for another surrogate in the mean time, much to Bernie's devastation.
Linda tries fishing information from Denise on Max's whereabouts as she and Mick come to the decision to decide to inform Max about her pregnancy together, but Mick appears to be having doubts about informing Max though. However we've come to learn that Max has "settled down". But later Jack arrives home informing Denise that Max has done a runner with baby Abi and they've simply disappeared.
Bobby is still trying to impress his new girlfriend Dana - but after failing getting the afternoon off work to see her, she surprises him at the restaurant and Iqra is surprised to hear Dana calling him by the name "Rob" and also that he apparently owns half the restaurant. She tries to persuade him to come clean, but when Dana hints she wants to go back to his for "dessert", Bobby panics.
Now focusing on the first half of Monday's episode once again, there's a lot to mention, so I'm going to begin with Rainie, Stuart and Bernie. After the devastating news of learning that Max has done a runner with Abi, Rainie and Stuart decide to head off to the station to report Max for kidnapping. Whilst Rainie is completely and utterly heartbroken about the news of Abi, Bernie is still doing everything she can to make sure she loses the weight to officially become Rainie and Stuart's surrogate.
It seems that all her family have been asking why she's been wanting to lose weight all of a sudden, but Bernie isn't telling them the truth - other than she just wants to be healthier. In an attempt to be the supportive Mum and Best Friend, both Karen and Tiffany inform Bernie that they will join her at the weight loss club, Fat Blasters and will support her and help her through it. Only, whilst they're there at the meeting, as Bernie approaches the scales she less than impressed to realise that she's only just lost 2 pounds, regardless of her eating well and going on runs. I have to say though, as someone who has tried to lose weight and has yo-yoed with their weight almost all their life, losing two pounds is a brilliant achievement, any low amount of weight loss is a huge gain to the weight you want to be or body you want to have!
However, even though the lovely lady running the club help put Bernie's spirit up, Karen was less than helpful after making comments such as "Some people weren't made to be skinny!" and something about a sausage roll? - Bernie then informs her Mum and Tiffany to leave and she'll be more than capable of losing weight on her own, without their help. Only later, as she leaves the dieting club Bernie finds Rainie on Arthur's bench in the gardens and can the see the sadness in her eyes over Abi, it's here that Rainie informs us that Abi's disappearance will only be classed as kidnap after 28 days, which is devastatingly unfortunate for both Rainie and Stuart - at the minute they can't do anything but wait. Bernie acknowledges Abi's disappearance and tries to cheer Rainie up that she is still sticking to losing the weight, but as soon as Rainie asks her how much she's lost, Bernie feels a bit to shy to tell her the truth, but as soon as Rainie assumes that she's lost no weight, Bernie mentions that she's almost lost a stone a weight. Rainie is visibly and clearly thrilled to hear of Bernie's weight loss and praises her, but deep down we know she's only lost 2 pounds - is Bernie going to find losing weight much hard? Could it spiral into depression maybe or worse - a horrific eating disorder?!
--
Meanwhile, after taking Isaac's advice, Ruby decides to make a "Worry Box" for the children and informs both Arthur and Lily that each day if something is on their mind they write down their worry or concern on a piece of paper and slip it into the box, but the most important thing is that it'll be kept a secret and no one will know about their worry.
At first, Lily is a bit reluctant to use it, claiming that she has no worries or concerns but after a bit of goading from her Dad and seeing her Dad put in his own worry, Lily grabs a pen a piece of paper and willingly puts in her own worry into the box. Only, later after informing the children that the worries were a secret, Ruby takes it upon herself to have sneak peak at the children's worries and eventually finds Lily's which mentions something along the lines of Amy not talking to her at school. Trying to be the best supportive stepmum she can be, Ruby catches Lily before she leaves for school and informs her that she'll do great at her first day back and if anyone decides to give her any trouble to completely ignore them and don't give them the time of day - but Lily is once again too smart for Ruby and she can tell straight away that Ruby is referring to her worry that she put in the box, feeling annoyed, she claims that trying to be the nice stepmum doesn't suit Ruby.
As Lily walks away, Ruby is once again make to feel like the wicked stepmum and as Jean approaches her and tries to give her advice on just trying to be normal, as Ruby turns to walk back into the house she creases over in pain. Later we see that Jean has accompanied Ruby to the clinic and it looks as if Jean is growing concerned as she seems to ask the receptionist whether Ruby was okay, considering that she had been in the room for a long time. Eventually Ruby comes out of the room looking completely and utterly shocked, lost, worried, scared and informs Jean that she is in fact pregnant again. Even though Jean reacts with a gasp of excitement, Ruby informs her of the devastating news that unfortunately, her pregnancy hormones are completely wrong and she'll most likely end up having another miscarriage.
As Jean brings Ruby back home and makes her feel comfortable, she can't help but act all motherly with her, asking whether she needs washing doing or whether she can help with the cooking, but Ruby thanks her for her help but reassures that she will be fine. As Jean turns to take her leave, she notices the "Worry Box" on the table. Ruby plays it down saying it was just a stupid idea for the children but then suddenly Jean asks whether she has put her worry inside the box, but when she admits that she hasn't, Jean takes it upon herself to write her own little note and puts it into the box, and gently urges Ruby to do the same, and of course willingly taking Jean's advice, Ruby then grabs and pen and paper and begins to write her own worry.
Although I do feel sorry for Ruby with her condition and also knowing that she's going to be losing another baby, I do wonder what her worry is going to be. Does she worry that she'll never get to be a proper Mum? Will the "Worry Box" be read out between the family and will someone stumble upon Jean's worry? I'm really intrigued as to where this could go!
--
Lastly, it's the day of Linda's scan after her collapse at the gym, however it seems that the news regarding Max and Abi has also worried Linda, she is carrying the baby of a man who has just done a runner with his Grandchild. Is this something that the Carter's can face together? Will Linda maybe even feel the need to inform Jack about her pregnancy?
As she waits in her bedroom for Mick, Nancy approaches and claims that her bump is getting bigger and bigger as the days go by and she can no longer hide it, at some point people might start to notice. As Mick then enters the room, Linda reminds him of the scan appointment and Mick looks as though he didn't quite remember but regardless he promises to be there with her to be by her side at the scan. Even though he has to meet someone from the brewery first and informs Linda that he will meet her there.
Although Mick is trying to remain positive for his wife, Nancy knows that maybe her Dad is feeling some doubts and it looks like Linda is also clicking onto something that's going on between her husband and her daughter. When Mick is out, Linda grabs the opportunity to confront Nancy and informs her that she saw the look they shared to one another and she begins to fret that Mick has changed his mind about the baby, even though Nancy tries to calm her down. Unfortunately Nancy finds herself in a bit of a corner as Linda urges her to inform her what she knows, she informs her Mum that Mick is feeling a little worried - bringing a child into the family and having to play happy families with Max Branning is going to be quite difficult for Mick. Linda is devastated to hear this and voices her upset with Mick for not being able to talk to her ... I have to say though I loved the quote from her "I'm 6 months pregnant with another man's baby and my husband isn't talking to me, I'm sorry if I'm a bit emotional!" - I have to say but I thought that was a brilliant one-liner!
Later we see Mick making his way to the hospital to meet Linda, but unfortunately his car has a flat tire and then the train station is closed, as he scrolls through his phone to find a contact number, his phone suddenly dies - he knows that if he doesn't act fast, Linda is going to be facing her scan alone. For a small brief moment, I thought Mick was going to have another panic attack the way he was trying to get his breathing together, but he managed to keep it all under control. Eventually, Linda arrives at the hospital in preparation for her scan and we can see that she leaves Mick a voicemail informing him that she has spoken to Nancy and knows about his concerns and admits that she wishes that he could've talked to her about his worries. But she softly ends the call asking whether he's still coming to the scan.
For a brief moment it looks like Mick is never going to get to the hospital in time, but luckily he manages to flag down a cab - and of course the driver just so happens to be Danny Dyer's real life daughter Dani Dyer. To be honest, I was a bit sceptical after I heard the news that she was going to appear in EastEnders, but to be honest I thought her performance wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Even though she was just playing an extra, she seems to do a pretty good part. The dynamic between her and her Dad on screen of course was brilliantly done!
Dani Dyer's character was named Jeanette, who just so happened to be pregnant and was heading towards to the hospital also. Only as she promises to get Mick there on time to be with his wife, she does have to have a pit stop on the way to use a café' toilet - due to her being heavily pregnant, but suddenly as she's about to get back into the cab, her waters break and Mick is then forced to drive himself and his cab driver to the hospital!
Luckily he gets Jeanette there in time to see somebody but as he tries to leave her with a nurse, she begs him not to leave her, claiming he's her guardian angel, plus the minor fact that he owes her £20 for the taxi ride, even though he pretty much drove himself. Mick unfortunately finds himself stuck with Jeanette and as he leads her to be seen too, Linda walks out of another room, holding her baby scan picture as we realise she had to face her scan alone. However she does the most interesting thing, instead of taking the scan picture with her, she leaves it behind on a hospital table and walks out of the hospital alone.
I completely understand that Linda is going to be feeling saddened that Mick didn't turn up, is she going to see it as some form of confirmation that Mick doesn't want her to have the baby? Or that he can't play happy families with Max? Either way, I hope Linda and Mick have a serious discussion about this baby and their feelings about it before it's too late, otherwise it's going to cause to deep heartbreaks in the future when the baby arrives!
I just want to say a huge thank you to you all for being so patient with me, I realise it's been a long time since I've posted, and now with all the EastEnders episodes being online due to the football, I'm going to be doing a blog post every night this week hopefully. Thank you all for reading, it truly means the world. Feel free to leave me any messages or comments about the episodes or storylines happening at the moment! Enjoy the rest of your evening, love you all xXx

"She Don't Scare Me No More!"
Monday 17th May 2021
Hello everyone! I realise this post is quite late, I've been working so many hours under the sun recently, I'm finding very little time to sit and make a post. So for the meantime, I'll probably be doing catch up posts, I'll still notify you on any EastEnders news making headlines etc! But before we jump into this week, we need to recap on the happenings of last week's epic episodes following Ben & Callum's wedding. It was eventually revealed that it was actually Kat who Whitney ran Gray's car into. But the main thing that been playing on my mind, and possibly you guys also - that car has now become interest in the hit and run, the police know that the car belongs to Gray, do you think if they do tests on it they'll find some form of DNA from Tina Carter??? Could this be the beginning of Gray's demise?! Of course I'm just speculating, but I'm sure you'll all agree that it's about time that Gray got captured!
Other than this unexpected hit and run, Ben and Callum's wedding went off without a hitch, other than Phil learning about Callum betraying the Mitchell family, but after what's happened to Kat, is Phil going to let this one with Callum slide? Or is he going to make Callum know that he hasn't been forgiven? Oh and speaking of Phil and Kat, it looks as if their relationship is hot gossip, as now Kathy, Linda and Sharon are all aware about their fling. When Phil steps into the ambulance with Kat, he looked genuinely concerned for her - do you think it's possible that he's fallen deeply for Kat?!
Also which has also grabbed my attention is the new, I guess you could call it a promo picture, of Janine's return to Albert Square! It makes it feel much more real now, knowing that she's returning to the Square, as far as I'm aware there has been a lot of gossip with people assuming that Janine could be the one to bring down Gray!! What do you guys think of the new picture?! Are you excited for Janine's return as much as I am? I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this particular subject!
Tumblr media
Lastly, before we focus on Monday's episode, another spoiler I have heard is regarding Bernie. We know that Bernadette has offered to be Stuart and Rainie's surrogate as she knows her family are in desperate need for the money on offer. But during a recent episode, a doctor/nurse informed Bernie that for her to have a successful pregnancy, she needs to lose weight. Rainie wasn't best pleased when she learned that Bernie had suffered miscarriage a while back, could it have been due to her weight? However, as much as Bernie is eager to please Stuart and Rainie and help both them out as well as her family, it seems that Bernadette is going to suffer from some kind of eating disorder - could it be bulimia? I happened to notice that  she recently went to throw away a piece of toast but Mitch and Karen stopped her before she could. Could this be the beginning of Bernadette's eating disorder storyline?!
Tumblr media
Now focusing on Monday's episode, quite a lot of different things happened, but first I'm going to start off with the happy news that Bailey was finally found safe and well. The Taylor have been completely distraught by her disappearance and being going out of their minds with worry. However, during the last couple of days, unbeknown to them, Amy has been hiding Bailey at the allotments. The one thing that I never really understood is that Amy knew her family we worried sick, so why would she lie to Bailey informing her that her Dad was angry at her for running away, suggesting that she stays away a bit longer.
But Denise happened to notice Amy's behaviour and become increasingly suspicious of her. Amy has been nicking food from all sorts of different stalls for Bailey, so when Denise catches her out in the street and asking why she's not in school, Amy lies informing her that she's taking part in a chess club during break time. But Denise seems to know her soon-to-be step-daughter all too well, and ends up following Amy and finding both her and Bailey sat in a shed at the allotment.
I have to be honest, it was a beautiful scene when everyone on the Square began to applaud Bailey's return to the Square, and the way both Bailey and Mitch's faces lit up as they saw one another and she ran into her Dad's arms, it really moved me. It kind of puts it into perspective, sadly some children who disappear or run away from home, some sadly never get found or return home. It's clear to see that everyone is relieved to have Bailey home safe and sound.
--
Sticking with the Taylor's, we need to discuss Bernie. She still hasn't told her family that she has offered to be Rainie and Stuart's surrogate, being seeing them struggle for money is making her more determined than ever to make sure she can lose the weight to be able to carry a baby safely. It seems though that her family isn't the only person she hasn't told - her new girlfriend Molly happens to think that Bernie has a "Friend" who is doing the surrogacy.
But when Molly happens to mention the future plans she wants to have with Bernie, going on holiday etc etc, Bernie happens to inform her that she couldn't, using the excuse that her family are skint and she can't afford to go anywhere right now. But Bernadette soon comes to realise that she can no longer hide the secret from her new girlfriend and comes clean that it's actually her who's agreed to be a surrogate. Needless to say that Molly is not best pleased with Bernie's decision, claiming that giving away a baby isn't normal.
But Bernie I think knows more than anyone what it must be like to fall pregnant and then to devastatingly lose it. We know that Bernie's first major storyline on EastEnders was her miscarriage. As the episode progresses, Molly tries to convince Bernadette that being a surrogate is not a good idea, but once Bailey returns home and Bernie overhears her Mum informing the family that even though they may not be rich, it makes them the most strongest and powerful family ever! Feeling her Mum's positive energy and realising her Mum is right, Bernie informs her girlfriend that Bailey ran away because she felt guilty of her family not being able to afford looking after her, but with the money she'll receive from the surrogacy, she'll be able to provide for her family - and in her world, her family comes first, always have and always will! Which kind of means that maybe sadly Bernadette and Molly's brief relationship has come to an end. But as time goes on, will Molly be able to see Bernie's point of view? Will she be able to come round and support her girlfriend's decision?
However, later when Bernie finds Rainie and informs her about the good news about Bailey returning home safe and well, she informs Rainie that she's going to start herself on the strict diet the following day to make sure she can lose the weight. But devastatingly Rainie reveals the devastating blow that she and Stuart are going to look for another surrogate, as the risk of losing the baby is too high if they were to continue with Bernadette as the surrogate. Leaving Bernie completely and utterly devastated, almost pleading Rainie for her to give her a chance to prove herself. But I feel I can kind of understand Rainie's concern, as she said herself she's not getting any younger, so in her mind, her chance to become a Mum is slowly drifting away from her and with Bernadette having to lose weight, it could take quite a long time, time that Rainie simply doesn't have. I did feel for Bernie, will she able to persuade Rainie to change her mind?
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Sharon is having to put up with her brother and the flashy women he keeps bringing back to her apartment. I have to say I thought it was brilliant at the beginning of the episode when Sharon completely embarrassed Zack in front of his lady friend, who happened to stay the night before. She quickly informs Zack that he needs to find a job if he's thinking about sticking around in Walford and suggests that he approaches Ruby at her club. But, as Sharon heads out, it seems that her brother has had more than one lady friend that he's been bringing round to the flat. Sharon is horrified when she notices another lady on the Square wearing her blazer and scarf and demands it back!
Eventually she bumps into Martin as he returns from home from Kush's funeral. I just have to say that I loved the look of confusion on Martin's face when he's asked about the crash that happened and Sharon informs him that it was Kat - but the fact that Phil has been sat by her bedside every night. It looks as if the news about Kat and Phil's fling/romance is slowly spreading around the Square. But then Sharon also informs him that her brother has arrived on the Square and she's sent him across to Ruby to see if she can give him a job.
I guess it's hard to tell how Martin is feeling at this point, however as soon as he comes face to face with Ruby and Zack, he really is not pleased with what he's witnessing. Zack is once again back to his old tricks and is horrendously flirting with Ruby. Martin informs him that he is in fact his bosses wife, so he needs to be incredibly careful not to cross the line where his boss is concerned. But Ruby informs her husband that she is glad to have him home and she missed him terribly, which kind of eases Martin's mood, but something tells me that this Zack is going to cause a stir. What do you guys think?
--
Finally I have to mention Nancy and Mick, I have to say though, it's been really lovely seeing these two share scenes again, I've really missed that Dad and Daughter bonding from these two. Nancy informs her Dad that if he's still willing to go to the Doctor's appointment then he can still join her. When she pops by the Vic to inform him the time, even though Mick reassures her that he'll be there, Shirley is suspicious to what the two of them are planning/doing and informs her "technically" Granddaughter that Mick needs to focus on writing his victim statement for court and can't have any distractions.
However, even though that of course Nancy wouldn't want to distract her Dad from something as important as his victim statement, but she feels happy that her Dad joined her for the appointment. However, from what I can gather, it looks as if that Nancy is having to wait 12 more months until she can go through with being sterilized, is it something to do with her being the right age? I'm not so sure, I think I missed that bit, however I recall Nancy mentioning that she is old enough to make the decision if she does wants kids at aged 16, but she's not allowed to make the decision if she doesn't want children at the age of 27?! Does she need to be 28 then for them to go through with the sterilization?
She agrees to wait for the 12 months as she is completely certain that her feelings is not going to change on the matter - however, can I just say? - How much do you guys want to bet now that during these next 12 months, at some point Nancy will find herself pregnant? What will she do if she does??? - But back to the present, she informs her Dad that if she agrees to wait for the next 12 months, she wants to make sure that her Dad promises to do something for her also - read his victim statement aloud in court. She's hoping it'll give him the opportunity for him to have his say - about how everything that happened with Katy truly made him feel!
As they arrive back on the Square, Mick heads to the Vic and gets his head down to write his victim statement, as Shirley enters and sees her son working away, she questions him whether he wants her to go over it. However Mick informs her that she'll be able to hear it for herself as he's agreed he's going to read it in court. But as Shirley voices her concern, Mick informs her that he's changed his mind about reading his statement - Katy doesn't scare him anymore! Although, unbeknown to them, as Mick is sat inside the pub writing his victim statement, Katy is stood right outside the pub, watching, staring, waiting! What is she doing back in Walford? Shouldn't she be behind bars? If there's going to be court date coming up, surely she's broken the rules of her bail if she's arrived back on the Square? I'm intrigued to see what's going to happen next. I hope Mick doesn't see her, he'll flip his lid! I have to be honest though, I'm looking forward to seeing the court hearing, as hopefully we'll get to see/hear what kind of sentence Katy will get and whether justice has been served!
Thank you all again for reading, I know it's been a while but I truly appreciate you all taking the time to read and respond! I can't wait to see what happens next, please feel free to leave me a message or comment on any of the storylines happening in EastEnders right now. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you again everyone, enjoy the rest of your evening! Love you all xXx

"You Killed Him!"
Tuesday 20th April 2021
Good evening again everyone! Hope your week is all going well so far! I have to be honest, I am still reeling from Monday's huge ending, still can't get over that Kush has been killed off, I feel shocked and saddened to know that he may never return to the soap. I had every hope that they would at least keep his role open for a return in the future! Where you shocked at the outcome? Or did you have a horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach that Kush would be Gray's 3rd victim? How long can Gray keep getting away with murder?? Seriously!!!
I have a horrible feeling this next episode is going to be hard to watch, the aftermath of Kush's death!
(20 minutes later!)
Oh my goodness, through out that whole episode you could sense and feel the sadness, the mourning and the absence of Kush, how everyone is completely and utterly devastated by his loss. Poor Whitney is sitting alone, still wearing the clothes from the night before, she looks almost numb to the core. In the house with her are Sonia, Tiffany and Martin. Oh Martin - Martin also looks completely and utterly crushed by the loss of his best mate, he must feel as if he's lost a limb! I know it was mentioned in the episode by Mick, but it's going to be devastating not seeing Kush with Martin having a drink together in the pub!
From what I can tell, everyone close to Kush must've learnt the news that evening, I do feel a bit gutted we didn't say how and when everyone found out, especially Whitney - I feel it should've been something we should have seen. But as the news of Kush's death spreads around the Square, Gray feels he needs to show his face, but even more trying to fish for information from anyone who may have any news, He tries getting gossip from Keegan - even though Keegan only knows that minor detail that Kush was hit by a train. Suddenly as Callum makes his way through the Square, Gray takes his opportunity to question Callum about the police are suspecting. Even though poor Callum himself is stunned by the news of Kush's death, he reveals to Gray that the police seem to think it was an accident, but that theory doesn't seem to make sense, as Callum informs Gray that Kush and Whiney were planning on running away together for a new life and it was the last trains of the night they were going to catch, at that time of night the platform would've been empty! But it's then that I think Callum puts the seed in Gray's mind that Kush's might've jumped?
As the news continues to spread, we seem to focus on the people who were important in Kush's life, Whitney, Martin and next was Denise! As she's sat in work, it look as if she has no clue about what's happened, but it's only when Kim makes her way into the salon looking in shock and devastation, Denise questions whether something has happened to Patrick. It's then that her sister informs her that she's learnt about Kush's death. Poor Denise is another one who begin to feel extremely sorry for - of course Kush and Denise had a small fling ages ago and they always remained close. Denise was absolutely heartbroken to hear the news of Kush's passing, she simply couldn't get her head around it.
--
As I said in the previous post, I was really intrigued as to what was going to happen to Shirley and the Mitchell's, now Kush has been killed - what will that mean for them? But it seems that Ben answered my question. Kush was initially asked to be key witness in another investigation against the Mitchell's, but now he's been killed there'll be no evidence for him to give - which actually might mean now that the Mitchell's and Shirley will be able to walk free. It looks as if they have no knowledge about Kush's death until they arrive back on the Square. As locals gather to lay flowers for their beloved member of the community, Ben mentions that the only witness the police have is now a dead man, but regardless of Kush grassing them up to the police, Phil shows his respect - claiming that regardless of what he did to them, he did not deserve to die as such a young way and in such a horrific way! Ooooh deep down in my guts I feel like shouting to them, if only they really knew how Kush died!! How would the locals of Walford know that sleeping amongst them is a murderer?!
But where Shirley is concerned, it looks as if she has no idea about Kush's death either. As she's released from custody, you can see the steam coming from her ears. She's outraged that Kush has grassed her up to the police. She informs both Linda and Nancy that she's going to get her hands on Kush as soon as she can. But later on, when she seems to have calmed down and it looks as if she's learned about Kush's death, Mick holds an absolutely beautiful tribute to Kush and raises a glass to him with their boozers in the Vic. Mick's words were so moving, it nearly brought a tear to my eye. However, Shirley seems reluctant to raise her glass, claiming that as much as she's sorry he's passed away, she can't toast a grass, which I feel is really quite cold-hearted. Kush was never bad man, he was one the most liked people on the Square. But when Nancy questions what people are saying about Kush's death, she's horrified to learn that people are speculating that he jumped in front of the train, but Mick make the interesting point that camera's are everywhere so they should be able to find some sort of explanation as to whether Kush's death was accidental or deliberate.
Also, after waiting all day for her package to arrive, it seems Nancy is pretty secretive about what is in her package. What really caught my attention was when Linda questioned her daughter whether she's still being able to keep control of her epilepsy. Nancy tries to reassure her Mum that she hasn't had a seizure for a very long time, but something is telling me that she's lying to her parents. Is her epilepsy getting worse? Could this package actually be something that helps her to keep control of her seizures? Either way, I'm really intrigued to see what secret Nancy is hiding!
--
Returning to Denise when she's been left alone to take in the news about his death, when Jack comes to finds her to make sure she's okay, she recalls her brief romance with Kush and how happy he made her when they were together. I and I think what she was mentioning about being sat with Kim and Carmel and informing them that she was dating Kush, I think I actually remember watching that moment, of course Carmel wasn't best pleased, but Denise how happy it made her feel being able to hold Kush's hand. That really moved me, especially when she mentioned how much love he had to give and he had initially found the right person to give it to! Gosh it was so emotional!
Meanwhile, as the rest of the Square are mourning Kush, Isaac seems to be listening in to the conversation between Denise and Patrick, but when Denise mentions that Kush was just 35 years of age, Patrick mentions how Kush's death reminds of him of his son, Paul. Now interestingly, Isaac seems to react to the name "Paul" - does he know who Paul is?! As Patrick decides to go ahead with his medical trial for other stroke victims, Isaac is with him - even though everything seems above board, Isaac informs his Dad that he's not happy about his decision but he will support him nonetheless. However it looks like the thought of Paul is still on his mind, it's only later when Isaac is alone in the Cafe that Kim joins him, it's then that he asks her straight out - What is the issue with Paul? Why do people go all coy and cold on the subject of him? Even though Kim feels that it's not her place to say, she decides to inform him that Paul was murdered. I'm intrigued that after all these years Paul is still remembered in this soap, he was another who had a devastating death - is Isaac going to want to learn more about his step-brothers Paul and Anthony? What do you think?
--
Later on, after the advice from Gray about discussing Kush's death with his colleagues, Callum finds Gray in the Cafe and informs them that the theory about Kush's death being accidental has completely been wiped. Unfortunately, Callum also confirms that the CCTV had been vandalized so any form of camera footage they have been able to get hold off could not longer be traced. Hmmm, I wonder who vandalized the camera, eh?! (Rolls eyes!) Of course Gray would've covered his back! However, I am also kind of hoping that maybe the Vic or the Minute Mart or the Cafe may have some kind of CCTV camera looking outwards onto the streets of their businesses - some local companies do have them - could it be possible that maybe one single business camera might've caught Whitney, Kush and little Arthur heading towards the train station and slowly following after them, we'd see Gray! Who knows?! It's a possibility! All I know is that Gray cannot get away with another murder, he just can't! He's murdered so many likeable characters and it's devastating and horrifying that he's getting away with it! I truly can't wait for the day when the locals learn about his crimes and he gets his comeuppance!
Feeling confident that he's covered his tracks, Gray then takes it upon himself to visit Whitney - Ooohh how dare he! - He's acting like the loyal friend who's trying to console their friend in need. Poor Whitney looks absolutely lost, it's clear to see that she has been sobbing her heart out - her face is all smudged with mascara down her cheeks and her cheeks are red from the amount of crying she's done. She still sits silently as Gray tries to give her his condolences, but as soon as he mentions Kush's name - she turns her face slowly towards him, whispering, warning him not to even mention his name.
For a split second, it looks as if Whitney knows Gray's dirty horrid secret! But she begins to claim that he is part of the reason that Kush is dead, if it wasn't for him siding with the Mitchell's and taking their dirty money that they wouldn't have to run away and Kush wouldn't have died! As far as she's concerned, he is as much to blame for his death as much as the Mitchell's are! Gray of course seems slightly surprised by her outburst, but - I don't know whether you noticed it, there was some kind of sigh or huff or scuff that came from him when Whitney mentioned his involvement with the Mitchell's. So, even though Whitney is blaming him for Kush's death and screaming at him that he killed him, it looks as if he is almost relieved that what she is saying ALMOST isn't true! Oooooh - but wait! Wait! WAIT until she really does find out the truth!!! I cannot wait for Gray to be found out, he truly can't keep carrying on murdering such lovely innocent people!
--
Ending this post and a happier note, oooo could there be a love interest for Bernie?! I think since she came out as gay and went to Gay Pride, she hasn't really been able to find anyone, has she? Now after being introduced to this new character, Molly (all thanks to the little doggo Ziggy/Banjo) - Molly is showing a very big interest in Bernadette, but bless Bernie, she can't seem to see it. But luckily Bailey clicks on to what Molly is getting at and decides to take their new doggy friend for a walk in an attempt to get them alone. Bernie is really surprised when Molly openly admits that she's wanting to ask her out. Even though I haven't really got an opinion on this new love interest yet, I just hope Bernadette will be happy and doesn't get hurt, it would be nice for her to enter a new relationship. What do you think?
Thank you again for reading my recent post, it truly means the world! Please feel free to leave me a comment or a message about any of the current storylines, I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on what's going on. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening. I'll back again very soon! Love you all xXx

"That's It!"
Monday 12th April 2021
Part One
Hello again everyone! So I'm back again with another blog post, I'm happy be on the current week now! I'm hoping eventually I will be able to catch up, it is going to be difficult as from Friday onwards I'm going to be away from my computer until the following Monday, so I'm going to have to try super hard to catch up! But I'm going to take it in my stride, I had a feeling that going back to the day job as well as trying to fit in my blogs and trying to cope with things in my personal life would get stressful, but as the saying goes:- We keep calm and carry on! I do have a little bit of news to share though, it seems that Sonia will be returning to Walford after a short period away visiting her daughter, Bex. However it seems that Sonia's return might be a big one, we know she has a family member arriving on the Square, will they be tagging along with her? Who knows? Either way, I'm super excited for what's in store for Sonia!
Tumblr media
So it's a whole new week on the Square and so much going on, but the first thing I'm going to focus on is Gray and the Taylor family. Today just so happens to be Chantelle's birthday and it looks as if to commemorate the day for Chantelle, the family have decided to catch up for a meal all expense paid by Gray! As Karen leaves the laundrette, she's approached by a man in a suit, who we later find out happens to be Mr. P, her boss? It seems as if he's eager to speak to her about something very important, but as Karen is in a rush to be with her family, they arrange to meet up the following day.
As Karen, Mitch, Bailey and Bernadette all make themselves comfortable at the dinner table at the restaurant, the only person missing happens to be Gray! Instead of being with his family, Gray decides to take himself to the Vic and slowly begins to drink his sorrows away. Can't he face being with his family, considering it's the day of Chantelle's birthday? Something is telling me that he still can't seem to live with the guilt - but the guilt of what? Honestly, the guilt of murdering her? He's still continuing to hide the most darkest and horrendous secret from the family! I'm amazed how long he's been able to keep up the pretence, especially in front of the Taylor's.
Eventually it seems as if the Taylor's know that Gray won't be turning up, but as Gray realises he can't face them he sends a message to Karen, once again lying that he's been caught up at work and won't be able to make the meal, however he urges them to order whatever they like and he would transfer the money over to them. But that's when Karen happens to have a better idea, instead of a swanky posh meal, she instead treats them all to a chippy! (Nothing beats a good chippy, right?!) But whilst the family all share happy memories of Chantelle burping the alphabet, Gray has somehow straggled his way to Ruby's club. Of course we don't see him at first, we seem to see more of Keegan and Tiffany - Keegan is also having to miss out on remembering his sister because he's working, but he and Tiffany are having to cope with a rowdy group of men.
Keegan is mentioning that he's having to work as hard as he can to make sure he can make a success of his life. But as Tiffany tries to reassure her husband that eventually he will become a success, the group of men start to become even more rowdy and as Keegan goes to confront them, he happens to see a familiar face sitting amongst them. Sitting in the corner with a drink in his hand, looking almost as if he's about to drink himself into oblivion, is Gray! Keegan is understandably surprised to see his Brother-In-Law in such a state, but it looks as if Gray simply doesn't care - he has no memory of the names of the men he's socialising with, as he gets himself up to speak with Keegan, all the alcohol he's consumed seems to catch up with him and he ends up throwing it all back up!
Eventually, as Gray sobers up, Keegan seems to have joined him at his home. I don't know why though but I feel like saying "Poor Gray" - but I know I shouldn't be! Do any of you guys think that Gray is a misunderstood man who has a terrible anger problem that needs some form of therapy?! Or is he some kind of evil conniving genius? Because I have to be honest there are times where I feel for Gray but then I remember what he's done and I think "Why am I feeling sorry for him?" Ha! You've got to admit, Toby-Alexander Smith always puts on an incredible performance as Gray! There are times I don't know whether Gray is being conniving or whether he's being genuine. In this scene, both Keegan and Gray happen to be discussing Chantelle, but Gray asks his Brother-In-Law a very interesting question, "Do you think she really loved me?" - Now, for any person who's grieving for their loved one, you wouldn't think twice about that kind of question being asked, but there's obviously a deeper meaning behind it, especially when Gray mentions how much he misses his wife and how much he wishes he could tell her how much he loved her, even also mentioning how much the guilt is eating him up inside. BUT WHAT GUILT? The guilt of beating her to pulp through-out their married life? The guilt of killing her? Interestingly, Keegan almost manages to get Gray to open up, asking him what he meant - but once again Gray completely changes the subject of the conversation to swerve attention being on him.
He grabs Keegan's attention by instructing him to write down his back details so he can transfer over money for him to put down a deposit for a stall, much to Keegan's shock! But Gray happens to use the excuse that it's what Chantelle would have wanted. Now I don't know about you, but whilst Keegan was writing down his details, there was a big part of me that was thinking that this was going to be such a terrible idea. What does Gray REALLY want with Keegan's details?! Is he really going to give him money for a stall?! Nahhhh - I think there's definitely going to be some kind of catch, or Gray is going to do something awful, but what?!
But whilst all this is happening, Bernadette has convinced her Mother that Mr. P has actually asked her out on a date, so after taking her daughter's advice and getting dolled up, Karen eventually agrees to meet Mr. P in the pub for a drink later in the evening. I did feel so sorry for her to be honest, it looks as if she's completely got the other end of the stick as it becomes clear that Mr. P just wanted to meet up with her for a simply business meeting. However, devastatingly, it's not the news that Karen was expecting, sadly she's having to be made redundant from her job. What does this mean now for the Taylor's? Will Karen be able to find a new job or will the family fall on hard times?!
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Lola is still learning more about Isaac's condition. As the new couple are sat having breakfast, Isaac seems to be completely focused on his phone whilst Lola is trying to get his attention by asking whether they could catch up for lunch. However, Isaac happens to mention that he has an appointment with his support worker, something that he apparently has every month. Even though Isaac seems to be more interested in his phone screen, Lola wishes her new boyfriend luck and walks out, without Isaac giving her a second glance.
Completely oblivious to the way he kind of ignored his new girlfriend, Isaac eventually has his appointment with his support worker, even though he informs him that everything seems to be going well in his life, he does raise concerns about Patrick, claiming that he's concerned about Patrick being used as a guinea pig for these new trails he's agreeing to take part in. Could they be taking advance of the fact that he's an elderly black man with a history of strokes? As much as the support worker is happy about Isaac's progress, he does ask a very interesting question - is he feeling a bit paranoid about whether he feel's the same way about his own medication? However Isaac seems completely shocked by the question and reassures him that he's still happy taking his own medication and his concern for his Dad is genuine. I have said from the beginning of this storyline for Isaac that it would be interesting to see whether Isaac's personality does change or whether he begins to get controlling or paranoid about certain things? I really do think it would be fascinating for EastEnders to portray exactly what schizophrenia is and how it can affect people who suffer with it, in their every day lives, I think this could be the beginning of that for Isaac?! Will we slowly begin to see what it's all about?!
Later, after getting the hump with Isaac about how he brushed her off earlier in the day, Lola is demanding some answers, is he hiding something? She arrives at his house demanding to know what's going on. Isaac still seems to be acting suspiciously when he asks her to come back in about 20 minutes, but she's insisting on finding out what he's hiding, but to her surprise he's gone and made her a lovely meal with lovely table setting. Are things really going to be this easy in their relationship? Or is there going to be something which causes Isaac to have another breakdown? Who knows? Either way I'm really intrigued to learn and see more of Isaac's story.
--
So, it seems after being confronted by Whitney the previous day, things seem to be really swimming in Kat's mind. She can't seem to live with herself knowing that she's sneaking about and having a fling with Phil, acting so carefree when Kush is having to deal with the fact that he'll be going to prison and leaving his son behind. Considering she was the one who got him into trouble in the first place, if she had never asked him to help with the robbery job with Phil, Kush would never be going to prison! Is she feeling a sense of guilt maybe? In an attempt to maybe clear her conscience, she goes to visit Phil, claiming that everything Kush is going through, really isn't fair and that it doesn't feel right that they have gotten off scot free, Kat states that she can't go public with Phil whilst Kush's life is falling apart!
Even though it seems that both Phil and Kat are enjoying each other's company, in an attempt to help with Kat's concerns for Kush, Phil decides to take it upon himself to give Kush some advice on how to survive in prison. However, we all know the type of reputation Phil has and he has had a bit of history from being in prison, so I'm sure he's thinking he's doing the decent thing suggestion to Kush that he needs to show that he's not to be messed about with whilst he's in there, otherwise he'll make himself a target if he doesn't show them who is boss.
However, as much as this advice comes from a good place, it's not the kind of advice Kush was hoping for. Kush is a completely different man compared to Phil, Kush's original thought process was to just keep his head down, not get into any trouble and just take it one day at a time. Even though Kush is thankful to Phil for his advice and is agreeing to stick to his word for taking the rap for other things the Mitchell's have done (which he is being paid for) - I do fear that maybe Kush will end up serving quite a long time in prison?! He voices his concern to Martin about what Phil had told him - Can I also just say how much I loved Martin describing Phil as "A Dinosaur!" - I don't know what but I just loved that moment so much! Poor Kush really doesn't know what to do?
Thinking he's managed to solve the issue for Kat, Phil calls her from the opposite side of the street as he sees her leaving the Minute Mart. I also thought this scene was very clever, the way they both walked towards the camera - Kat in front and Phil following her from behind at a distant pace, not to give themselves away as being a couple. Phil informs her that he's managed to have a word with Kush and everything seems fine, as Kat seems pleased with the news, they agree to meet for their arranged dinner date.
However, when Kat happens to bump into Martin and asks him how Kush is, Martin reveals to her the conversation that Kush had with Phil and the advice he was given. The thought of Kush beating up men to a pulp and becoming a monster as soon as he gets into prison is not the man Kush is. He's a good man and wouldn't do anything to add any more years onto his sentence, especially when it means he could be away from his son for a lot longer! Kat is absolutely fuming to learn that Phil told Kush to fight his way through prison, because in all seriousness, that is not the way to go about it! In worst case scenario, if Kush was to do that, he'd probably end up dead!
In a way of teaching her new love interest a lesson, Kat decides to stand Phil up and doesn't go to their arrange dinner date. Is it silly to say that I felt sorry for Phil? I think it was the way he was all smartly dressed in his blazer - bless! He rocks up at her house demanding answers as to why she never turned up, but she admits she knows about the advice he gave Kush. She states that she might be Slater and her name might give her a type of reputation of being a bit "Gobby" (Her words, not mine!) but she can't date anyone who has no conscience. She knows what's right and wrong and for someone with Phil's reputation who doesn't care for anyone but his own family, she states that they can't carry on their fling, much to his disappointment!
I have to be honest, I wasn't sure how I felt about Phil and Kat to begin with, but now I have to say, I love them. They're like the couple I never knew EastEnders needed. I can understand Kat's concern about them going public, it could either go one of two ways. They could either be made the laughing stock of the Square, or they could be Walford's next power couple!!! Honestly, if I saw Kat and Phil walking down the street, hand-in-hand, I wouldn't want to get in their way! Will Phil realise the mistake he's made regarding Kush? Will he try and make it so Kush could be out of prison sooner than he's expecting? Or could he maybe get him some protection whilst he's in prison? Who knows? But if Phil is serious about wanting to go public with Kat, he's going to have to think of something fast for her to change her mind.
I have to be honest, I'd love to have the opportunity to message Jessie Wallace directly and ask her what it's like working with Steve McFadden. I'd love to know their thoughts on when they heard that Kat and Phil were to become romantically involved?! Have you guys loved seeing Jessie and Steve in the same scenes as much I have?! I'd love to hear what you think of their story!!
I know there is a part 2 to this episode, I promise I will try and get that up as soon as I can. At this rate, it seems that I'll have to do a double episode post at some point next week in an attempt to catch up, but I will get there! Thank you all for reading, I really appreciate it! Please feel free to leave me any comments or messages about EastEnders and I'll happily take the time to reply! Enjoy the rest of your evening and your week folks! Love you all xXx

"Hello, Sis!"
Tuesday 6th April 2021
Hello again everyone! Wow! Feels like it's been a while since I last posted, I had a very busy week last week and again this week being back at work! I'm sure you must all be happy regarding the lockdown easing ever so slowly! I've come to the realisation that now I'm back to the day job, my posts will have to be done in the evenings, so I apologise if some of them seem late from now on. I'm planning on possibly doing another blog post tomorrow and then a double on Thursday in an attempt to catch up! I know the majority of you have already seen last week's episodes, it seems I have a lot of catching up to do!
We know that things are supposed to be kicking off this week (commencing 12th April) due to the return of Nancy Carter and the possible outcome of Kush's trial? I do have a fear Kush may be killed off and become another victim of Gray's but I am hoping that that doesn't happen! But before we can even begin to get excited about it, I need to post about the episodes that you guys have seen, but unfortunately I haven't.
So without further ado, I'm going to begin chatting about Isaac. It seems that Sheree seems to have overstepped the mark regarding both Lola and Patrick. I mean of course she is acting as the concerned Mum and Wife, but she needs to realise that there are some things she can't interfere with. Patrick has been offered the opportunity to go on blood thinners as an experiment for stroke victims - (at least that's the jist I got from it anyway!) - but Sheree is standing her ground claiming she doesn't want her husband to take part in it, purely because she fears for his health. Again, I can understand her concern but she can't stop Patrick from doing something he may want to do, considering he's already suffered two strokes whilst on the Square, he'll want to do his part in helping other victims.
But also where Lola is concerned, Sheree is still interfering in her son's relationship, for a brief moment it looked as if she had scared poor Lola off! Finally Isaac has sat his Mum down and told her straight to stop interfering with everybody's lives, even claiming that some times she can come across as controlling, even though her concern comes from a good place. For the first time in a long time, Isaac is feeling ready to enter another relationship, and he informs her Mum that with Lola, it feels right, he's slowly falling for her and there could be chance that she is feeling the same and the relationship could become serious?!
As Isaac instruct his Mum to kind of back off, Lola appears to have escaped to the Vic. Oh and once again Peter seems it's necessary to poke his nose into business that has nothing to do with him! Urgh, I really don't know about any one else, but for me personally - Peter is one of the worst characters the soap has right now, not in the sense of villainy, but just as a whole - his attitude towards his family, thinking he's the big I AM, urgh I don't like him, I really don't! Something has to change with this Peter I think, what about you guys?! Do you agree or do you think I'm being a little bit harsh? Either way he insults Lola and manages to persuade her to tell him what's on her mind. Believing he's a trusted friend, Lola confides in Peter, informing him about Isaac's diagnosis - something I fear she will possibly live to regret. But after her meeting with Peter, she eventually meets up with Isaac in the club and he informs her to not let his Mother scare her off, Isaac has full control over his illness right now and there would be no way for Lola to trigger any kind of breakdown. Let's hope things remain this way, right? But something is telling me that with all this positivity and reassuring that Isaac is fine and he has everything under control, something is telling me that eventually Isaac will have some form of breakdown and hopefully EastEnders will be able to have an opportunity to portray what having schizophrenia is really like!

Oooooo and what is this?! A possible new love interest for Bernie?! It's about bloody time!!! So, I'm sure the majority of you know that the Taylor family have taken in a new dog named Banjo after finding him on the streets and assuming he was a stray. Unfortunately, since the dog has been in their possession, some flyers advertising the lost dog have been spreading around the Square. Mitch was the first one to notice them, but not wanting to break his young daughter's heart, after their new family member has brought her so much happiness, he disposed of the flyer and never said a word about it to his family.
Now after this young girl seems to catch her eye on the Square, denying to Bailey that she's does not have a crush on her, she claims that she was just interested in the girl's flyer's. As Bailey goads her to ask for one, Bernadette comes to realise what the girl is advertising. (Also just zooming through the end credits of the episode now, there happen to be two female names of who this young lady could be - "Clara" or "Molly" - It'll be interesting if she was to show up again!) Taking the flyer back home, Bernie sadly informs her Mum and Mitch that a girl is out there looking for her dog, who they happen to have living with them, and his name isn't Banjo, it's Ziggy!
At first it seems the Taylor's are in a bit of a denial, it's understandable that they've grown to love the dog, but when Karen calls him by the name "Ziggy", the dog automatically responds. Bernie claims that they have to do the right thing and return the dog to it's rightful owner, however Mitch is looking deeply suspicious as Karen realises that he knew about the flyer's a couple of weeks ago and never said anything. He claims he didn't want to break Bailey's heart after all the loss she's had in recent months. It's then that Karen happens to agree with Mitch and states that the dog will be staying with them. They instruct Bernie to call the girl up and give her false story about the dog. Poor Bernadette isn't one for lying, so it's quite funny and yet sweet when she attempts to make up a story about the dog being lashed into a van to the unknown female. But it seems the girl can see right through Bernie and claims that she saw the way she was looking at her in the Square and offers to buy her a drink. Even though Bernie is already hiding the fact that she has her dog, could this be the start of new relationship for her?!

Ooh yea, so Ruby and Lily are still at loggerheads with each other! After devastatingly realising that Lily has cut her deceased Mum's wedding dress to pieces, Ruby is demanding that Lily leaves the house. Even though Lily isn't Ruby's biggest fan right now, it's clear that she had no idea that the dress belonged to her Mum, but it turns out she might've known that it was a special piece of clothing as Ruby states the dress was kept in a box at the back of her cupboard.
As Martin sends his daughter upstairs to get changed out of Ruby's clothes, he begins to think of some kind of punishment for his daughter, informing his wife that Lily is simply just missing her Mum. However it seems that Ruby's day goes from bad to worse, after discovering the state of her Mother's ripped dress, she informs her husband that she got a call from the clinic. It turns out the Ruby could most likely have endometriosis and that their fears about not having any more children is more likely. Devastatingly, endometriosis is severe and it could mean that she may not be able to have any more children in the future, sadly the one she lost might've been her only chance of being a Mum.
Understandably devastated for his wife, Martin realises he needs to do something to cheer her up. As Lily recovers from changing out of Ruby's clothes, Martin informs Ruby that Lily's punishment is to give her no access to any electronics for a week, and in an attempt to make things up to Ruby, Lily "apparently" has offered to give up her birthday money if it means there could be a way to salvage the ruined wedding dress. Ruby is visibly touched by the kind gesture, claiming that she didn't mean what she said about wanting her to move out, she claims that being her Stepmother - she'll always have a place to stay with them. Lily just simply smiles.
As Martin informs his wife of bubble bath waiting for her upstairs, Ruby thanks her Stepdaughter once again and leaves the room. As Martin follows, giving her the thumbs-up, it seems as if they think Lily will be okay and there'll be no more issues, but from the look on Lily's face, she really doesn't seem happy. Something was telling me that maybe she was being forced to apologise to Ruby? She clearly didn't mean her apology, is she still going to make Ruby's life a living nightmare?!

Oh Jean!!! Poor Jean!! I know I mentioned it in the last post, but I'm going to mention it again, I cannot applaud Gillian Wright enough for her performance as Jean! Jean clearly isn't coping with having her daughter back inside again while she's suffering a terminal illness, all she wants really is to be back with her daughter. As everyone gathers and sees the commotion, Sharon comes to realise that the only reason Jean is acting this way and holding herself up in the vehicle is because she wants to be with her daughter.
In an attempt to get Jean out of the van, Sharon pleads to the police to let her talk to her softly. As she approaches the fragile woman in the vehicle, she explains that even though she understands how Jean is feeling, the actions she's currently doing won't help her in any way. Even though Jean wants to be arrested in an attempt to be with her daughter, Sharon informs her that if she was to get arrested and put in prison, there is no guaranteed chance that she'd end up in the same prison as Stacey, in hindsight the only thing she'd get out of it is probably a criminal record and a hefty fine.
Realising her mistake and that possibly her actions may not get her close to her daughter, Jean agrees to switch off the engine and leave the vehicle. Now the next scene between Sharon and Jean I found funny but really touching also, I don't know why but I've loved the friendship that they've begun to build with these two characters. Two women I never thought would have each other's backs, but it seems that they are both struggling with things in their personal life, and I just LOVED how they both fell about laughing about the outcome of things, Sharon realising she's a single Mother with no money and how Jean has almost corrupted her new gym business. I found the scene really heart-warming as both the women agreed that sometimes shouting out to life itself is sometimes the only thing they have left?
I just loved it, it was as if they have a mutual understanding of each other and they found some common ground. Jean opened up to Sharon and Sharon opened up to Jean, even informing her about discovering a long lost brother that she's still unsure of whether to contact or not. But as Jean claims that having family around you is one of the most important things, Sharon seems to see it as another man in her life who she doesn't really need and decides to bin the phone number.
However, later as Sharon unfortunately misses her date with Kheerat and ends up drinking alone, Jean excitedly approaches her new found friend, even though she appears excited she also seems a little nervous and jittery. Admitting she might've overstepped the mark, she repeats the fact that Sharon needs her family around her and considering she hasn't got that many members of her family left ..... ?! Sharon questions what Jean has done and it's only when they get out onto the Square they see a car pulling up and stepping out of it, appears Zack! Jean only contacted her brother! But the interesting thing that gets me, Zack greets Sharon by calling her "Sis!" - last time he saw her, he had no idea who she was, just another person who attended his Dad's funeral, does this mean that Jean informed about Sharon's true identity?!
Either way, I'm super excited to see what happens next, I'll be sure to follow up this post with another one tomorrow. I once again apologise for this being super late, I'm going to try my very best to catch up, regardless at being back to the day job! Thank you all for reading! I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening. Please feel free to leave me any messages or comments about EastEnders and I'll happily reply! Love you all xXx

"I Love You, Dad!"
Thursday 18th March 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you've all had a fantastic weekend! I apologise for this post being up late, I've had a busy few days and this has been my only chance to catch up on Thursday's episode. So the last episode ended up with Lucas in prison, Caleb getting caught by police and having his men attack Lucas in his prison cell. I'm eager to see what's going to happen next! I just want to thank you for being incredibly patient with me also, I'd like to thank you all for your on-going support, it really means the world!
But now, focusing on the episode at hand, it seems to be the day of a few things, the day of Ash finding out if she still has a career and also the day of Sharon's leaving party at the Vic. I think I'll focus on Sharon and Kim. The first thing I need to mention is how brilliant Kim is during this whole section of the episode, wanting to hold an extravagant leaving party for Sharon, going all out with the decorations and fancy flyer to promote the event. I love how she was complete acting as the host, mentioning how she'll be the first one on the karaoke singing along to "Shout Out To My Ex" by Little Mix - may I add completely singing the wrong lyrics, and also sound-checking the mike! I just completely loved it all, I thought it was brilliant, she is a such a breath of fresh air and the comedy factor of the soap that we just need every now and again! I love her!
Even though Kim is excited to pull off an extravagant party, Sharon has her minds on other things. Even when Kathy pays her visit asking whether she's given her new-found brother, Zack, a call yet, Sharon admit she still hasn't. Is it something that she's really considering though? Will she take Kathy's advice and reach out to him? Later on, it seems as if the party has been a bit of a flop as Kim realises that no one has arrived for Sharon's celebration, unfortunately it's only when Kim is notified about her flyer holding the wrong date she realises her mistake. Poor Sharon however is sat upstairs on her own, it looks as if that she has deep thoughts on her mind, I'm guessing that all she's been thinking about is Zack and realising that she has another brother out there. Her silence is interrupted when Kim finds her and admits the mistake she's made of putting the wrong date on the flyer, however the funny thing is, Sharon admits that she noticed ages ago but never said anything. As they both tend to relax and laugh off the mistake, it's this scene which surprises me - a discussion that Kim and Sharon don't seem to have had before. Sharon seems down that all she seems to live for now is Albie, but Kim mentions that she is a strong woman who has her health and a healthy little boy, in the hindsight of things, she has everything and she is more better off than she actually realises. Realising that Kim is right, she chucks Zack's number to one side - maybe the last thing she needs is another man in her life? But who knows, will she take the plunge into approaching Zack?

The second thing I have to mention is the happiness that this new little pup has brought to Bailey and Bernie, even though Karen is still adamant that the family are not ready to take on another dog, complaining that the new pup, which they've named, Banjo, has taken a liking to her slippers. The only thing on Mitch's mind though is how happy the dog has made Bailey, plus he gives a very valid point to Karen - they are not the kind of family who will turn anyone away if they haven't got a home to go to.
As Mitch goes off to collect some dog food for the new family member, and after a funny and yet slightly awkward conversation with Lola, he happens to notice a poster in the Minute Mart advertising about a missing dog. Unfortunately, the dog that's mentioned as missing happens to be the dog that Bailey has grown attached to. It looks as if Mitch now has to make a devastating decision. Eventually he meets the rest of the family back home and surprisingly Karen has had a change of heart. She recalls how much Bailey has lost, someone at such a young age has lost her Mum and her sister and her pet dog, she's had too much loss and needs something to make her happy, and if it just so happens to be Banjo, than Karen is allowing him to stay. Mitch seems a little surprised by her change of heart, it looked as if he was about to admit to Karen what he had found. But as Karen walks away to see to Bailey and the pup, Mitch decides to crumple up the poster of the missing dog.
The only thing that crosses my mind now is, will the poster be found? My prediction is that Bailey will be one who finds the poster and being the kind little girl that she is, she'll want to do the decent thing and find the rightful owners of the dog. Deep down I am hoping that the Taylor family will keep it, but I do fear that this little fluff ball will only be here for a small amount of time.

So as well as this episode being the day of Sharon's leaving do, it's also the day of Ash's hearing result, it's today she'll find out whether her job is safe or not. After everything that's happened she appears to voicing her concerns to her brother about after one stupid mistake her career as a doctor could be completely over! The interesting thing is as she and her brother are having this conversation, Suki appears to be listening in, taking in every word her daughter is saying. Ash is even adamant that even if she does lose her job, she really doesn't want to be take part in the family business. Knowing that his sister's career could be at stake, Kheerat wishes his sister luck as they all go their separate ways.
Suki makes a type of funny comment to her daughter, that she put her faith and trust in a Beale, so she needs to hope and pray that things go her way regarding her job now. As she leaves her daughter alone and makes her way onto the Square, Suki is once again confronted by Peter. It's here that they have another row/disagreement regarding Ash. Suki isn't one bit impressed by the way Peter cost her daughter her job, regardless if he's apologetic or not. She seems to think that he's nothing but trouble, it's then that Peter lashes out claiming that she has actually done nothing for her children and it's no wonder that she's so hated by her own kids.
Now this claim seems to really hit Suki where it hurts. I don't know about you guys but I saw a big change in Suki in this episode. It looks as if Peter's words play on her mind, so she decides to take it upon herself and visit the hospital. At first I was a bit concerned as to what she was doing, what was she up to? Was she really going to put her daughter's job at more risk? Later, everyone gathers in the Vic waiting to hear news of Ash's job. Poor Ash has been waiting all day for the very important phone call. Kheerat, Suki and Peter are all there to support her in her time of need. As Ash's phone begins to ring she answers the call privately as they all watch her walk away, eventually she comes away looking completely lost, but of course it was all a big show as she jumps up and down excitedly claiming that her job is safe and there's no reason for them to carry on the investigation.
As the excitement kicks in, Peter rushes to the bar to buy drinks to celebrate - only this seems to give Kheerat and Suki the impression that they simply don't care about making their same mistakes. Kheerat even mentions that his sister isn't even grateful about being able to keep her job. To their point of view, they're rushing into getting drunk again and making the same mistake which got her into the mess to begin with. Suki decides to act fast and informs her daughter to stop socialising with Peter and focus on her career. It's then that we learn the full extent as to why Suki went to the hospital, it turns out that she actually confronted Ash's boss and pretty much blackmailed her into giving Ash her job back. Hearing this news, Ash is completely disgusted in her Mother for her actions, and this is where things get really nasty. Ash claims that Suki's life revolves around blackmail and deceit, as long as things go her way she doesn't care about who she hurts in the process. She claims her Mum think's she's something special, but in actual fact she's a nobody and always will be.
This is the turning point for Suki I believe, hearing her daughter say these words without an ounce of sympathy or guilt absolutely breaks her. Ash she leaves her daughter to drink with Peter, she reassures Kheerat that it'll more than that to get under her skin. But as she leaves the Vic alone, she softly begins to cry. If I'm not mistaken - this is the first time we've actually seen Suki cry! I'm beginning to think that the whole reason Suki went to the hospital, was to initially help her daughter, in her mind she was helping her daughter get her career back on track. This wall that Suki has been holding up against herself for such a long time has now been completely broken down by her own daughter.
Tumblr media
The interesting thing is EastEnders have announced that there is going to be devastating storyline ahead for Suki, revealing that they're going to take a look at her past. Did something happen in her childhood maybe or in her young adult life that made her who she is today? Did she experience some kind of trauma or was she abused in some way? Something has happened to her which has made her change her outlook on life, as if like she'll get nowhere in life if she's not going to be strong and in some ways, manipulative and nasty? Who knows? It's true that Suki has been a bit of nasty piece of work since she arrived on the Square, but with the news of her past being revealed, it's making me think that maybe there'll be a reason as to why she is this way, and I for one, can't wait to find out what that is!
--
The final thing I have to mention is Lucas, Chelsea and Denise. After Jack's proposal, the Fox family are completely excited about the news of Denise and Jack's engagement. Sheree is even beginning to show Denise ideas for wedding dresses, as much as Denise appreciates her trying to help, she insists that the wedding she wants is going to be elegant and grown-up! As everyone is enjoying the possibilities of the wedding, Chelsea makes an appearance informing her Mother that she is genuinely happy for them and mentions that they are meant to be together. It's then that she drops the bombshell to her Mum that she has a friend who has spare room for her to stay in, but it's in Birmingham, and she's planning on staying there for a while. This news seems to really hurt Denise, in her point of view - as soon she Chelsea is faced with problems she does a runner. Chelsea admits that she can't stay in London now after everything she's done, to her Mum's surprise she reveals that she's feels like she's nothing more than a screw up and all she does is disappoint her and brings trouble to her door. Denise pleads to her daughter to stay and move in with her but Chelsea insists that she can't. As Jack walks in after hearing the commotion, Denise reveals to her fiancé that it's always the same when it comes to her daughter, as soon as she thinks she's got her back, she runs off again!
I feel that Chelsea is being a bit too hard on herself, she is not a bad person, it's just unfortunate that she's gotten herself into bad situations after coming across and encountering bad people who seem to have even taken advantage of her, or who simply trap her and use her to their advantage. After Lucas willingly gave himself up to the police at the airport, Chelsea seems to have come to the realisation that he has simply thrown his life away, so she can live her life. Jack approaches Chelsea suggesting that maybe she should visit her Dad in prison, if she can't life with the guilt of what she's caused him, maybe she should go and visit him and ask for forgiveness.
Taking his advice, she decides to go the prison to visit her Dad. However as soon as she seems him, she sees the damage that's been made to him whilst he's been in prison. He approaches her table and it's clear to see that he's been given a black eye after being attacked in his cell. Chelsea is shocked at the state of her Dad and she bursts into tears when she realises it was people connected to Caleb who attacked him. I have to admit, this whole section of their visit I found really touching, moving, emotional. For the first time in a long time, Chelsea is showing emotion and feelings towards her Dad.
Lucas admits to her that this was all part of his plan. Chelsea is really surprised to hear this, but what Lucas states makes perfect sense. He informs her that he needed her to see the path of life, to realise that that person Caleb made her was not who she was. To make sure she'd be safe and have a life, a good life of a her own, he took the wrap for the drugs so she could live a happy and better life. This is no way means that he was doing this out of spite or hatred, it was simply out of love for his daughter. As Chelsea wipes her tears away she claims that her staying in Walford might be a good idea as it'll give her a chance to come a visit her Dad as often as she can.
However, Lucas gives her another devastating blow. He hasn't included her on his visitor's list. Once again, Chelsea is brought to tears by her Dad's bombshell, she questions him if he really hates her that much to not want her visiting him. But that couldn't be further from the truth. He loves his daughter more than anything, that we know for sure. I guess you could say Lucas really has changed his ways, since his return to the Square it's been hard to believe whether he simply had changed or whether it was all a ploy to get back into his family's life, but during recent episodes, I guess it's fair to say that Lucas has come out onto the other side. He makes Chelsea to promise him to stay away, enjoy her life on the outside and make something of herself, become successful and have as much happiness as she possibly can, she's a tough woman and if she finds herself in a sticky situation, she'll have her Mum to support her who is just as tough as she is!
Tumblr media
I found this final moment really emotional, Chelsea agrees to say one last final goodbye to her Dad. Wiping her tears away, she stands up and pushes her chair under the table. As Lucas also has tears building up in his eyes, Chelsea says one final thing, "I love you, Dad!" - those were the words that Lucas has been longing to hear for such a long time! Taking one last look to her Dad before she leaves, Lucas bits his lip as they tremble as he tries his best to hold back tears. It's probably been so so long that Lucas has heard those three little words from someone and for them to actually mean it, have it come from his daughter means the absolute world to him.
It has been revealed that this specific episode happened to be Lucas's final episode. I have to say I am a little saddened by that as I was hoping we'd have a lot more to see from him. Part of me feels happy that he hasn't been killed off. He has been sent back to prison again and will serve time smuggling drugs. But who's not to say that he won't return again one day to the Square? Who knows? I feel that if a character hasn't been killed off, there will always be a chance for them to return one day! I do hope that maybe in a few years to come, Lucas will return - it might not happen, but I can always live in hope!
Tumblr media
The last bit of news I'd like to share with you is that it as been revealed that Kellie Bright is pregnant with her third child, a huge congratulations to her, but it does mean that Linda Carter will have to be written out of the soap temporarily when the actress goes on Maternity Leave. What will be Linda's leaving storyline? What do you guys think? Thank you all for reading! It really does mean the world to me and I cannot thank you all enough for your support! I'll be back again very soon! Love you all xXx

"She Will See The Light!"
Friday 12th March 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all feeling ready for the weekend! We've finally come to the end of another week on the Square! So much drama has happened this week, and to be honest, I've been loving it! Some storylines I like better than others, but even so, it's been a very emotional, dramatic week that's for sure!
Following Friday's episode the first thing I'm going to mention is Honey, Billy and Jay. After Honey's fall during the previous episode, both Billy and Jay continue to argue on how to look after her, I found it very comical when they were in the Cafe and they were arguing the toss about what Honey should and shouldn't have, considering they had both bought her hot water bottles. Poor Honey is fretting that the police had called the social workers after the misunderstanding that happened with Janet. Even though they both try to reassure her that everything will be fine, Honey can't help but put the blame on both of them, in all fairness, if they hadn't have been arguing this whole misunderstanding about Janet may never have happened. As they all commute to the pub after the meeting with the social worker, Jay tries to inform Honey that the person they had the meeting with seems really kind and friendly. It's easy to see that Janet has a loving family around her, it's just unfortunate that her Dad and her Mum's new boyfriend can't seem to get along.
Tumblr media
Even at the pub it was comical, arguing like an old married couple on who was going to order the drinks, none of them wanted to!! It's silly, pathetic but very relatable which makes it comedy gold! Both of them need their hands banging together, although I guess it is fair to say that the only thing that would make the situation easier is if Billy was to learn to accept Jay and Honey's relationship. However, when they're continuously arguing, Honey receives a call from Suki, unfortunately it turns out that Suki is unable to give Honey sick-pay, and with her being off work for a while until she recovers, there may be chance that she could lose her job. At this point, it looks as if Jay and Billy realise the extent of Honey's injury, they realise that she's not going to be able to look after the kids on her own and they might end up struggling for money, it's then that Jay proposes the idea of both himself and Billy sharing Honey's shift. It would work out well for everyone, Suki wouldn't have to get cover for the shop, plus Honey would get to keep her job. But when Billy voices his concerns about looking after the kids, doing the school runs and working their other jobs, Jay suggests that he moves back in and they cope as a family. Reluctantly, he agrees, but maybe this could be the huge first step they need to rekindle their friendship? Will it be a success? With they all be able to cope under the same roof, or will it be another nightmare?!
--
So the second thing I want to briefly mention is Bailey and the Taylor family. I probably should've mentioned this in the last post, but it's so nice to see Bailey back in the frame. The youngster has been feeling really low lately as Mother's Day is coming up, so as an idea to cheer her up, Isaac suggests t take part in, I'm assuming what is a science/space competition. As she's a very smart little girl who loves this all astronomical, it would be the perfect opportunity to lift her spirits. As she informs Karen and Mitch about the event, they rally round to help her build a model of space, including all the planets and stars.
In this episode we see a very moving moment between Mitch and his young daughter, as Bailey is still voicing her upset about missing her Mum. Mitch comforts his daughter by informing that she has stars looking down on her everywhere, not just her Mum, but Chantelle aswell! Devastatingly the happiness doesn't seem to last long for the young girl and her family as Bernadette appears on the street, almost in tears informing them that their beloved dog, Bronson, isn't all too well at all. As everyone gathers inside, it's heart-breaking to see the family pet lying on his side in the living room, I have to be honest though, the part which really got me was the sounds of the dog crying/whimpering. As a dog owner and lover, I can fully understand the devastating loss of losing a dog, it's one of the most heart-breaking things you ever go through. Dogs just live in the moment, they live in the now and all they want is a happy life full of treats, toys, playtime and hugs and kisses, they are truly a gift to the world, they really are. I'm not sure whether many of you have dogs, but I'm sure it's like any pet, losing one is truly devastating for the whole family. You feel like a piece of you is missing! That moment where Karen, Bernie and Bailey shed a tear for their dog ... that really got to me!
--
The next thing I have to mention of course is Stacey and the Fowler's. In this episode I felt for Jean also, it hasn't been long since Stacey returned to the Square, during her time away Jean was left to fight a lot of battles on her own, losing Daniel and fighting breast cancer - that's a thing, didn't she find another lump and decide not to tell the rest of the family? What happened to that story? Maybe things will once again escalate for Jean when Stacey leaves again? But it's clear Jean is worrying about her daughter going back to prison, she's just got her family back, her daughter and all her Grandchildren, Kat is away frolicking with Phil, so it's understandable that Jean is so wary?! Is she actually worrying about being on her own and having to battle through cancer again on her own?! I do have a feeling that this is going to happen, Lacey Turner is leaving her role temporarily as she goes on Maternity Leave, so what is going to happen in her absence?
Later, once again, Stacey is having another interview with the police, informing them that she and Ruby have been friends for years but things have turned sour since she married her ex-husband. (Well, I think it was technically when Stacey was stealing money from Ruby) but either way, everything has escalated to this horrendous accusation that she pushed Ruby down the stairs and caused her to lose her baby. Of course we all know that that isn't the case, but being the sneaking so-and-so that she is, Ruby found more CCTV footage at a decent angle, clearly showing that Stacey never touched her, and deleted the footage! Meaning that the only CCTV footage the police have recovered is from another angled camera, where unfortunately it does look as if Stacey swiped her arm at Ruby, causing her to fall. (Even though it's been called a "Push", I wouldn't necessarily call it that!). In this interview, Stacey is ever so confident that her version of events will prove she's innocent, but as the police show her the footage they've recovered, the reality of her situation sinks in as she realises that from the footage, it does look like Ruby is telling the truth .... which I have to say, is completely unfair!!
Tumblr media
After asking for a lawyer, the next time we see Stacey is when she returns to the Square and confronting both Martin and Ruby! She can't seem to understand why Ruby would be lying about something so devastating! She puts on a front, informing that the evidence that Ruby has against her won't even stand! Is Ruby jealous of Stacey? Does she simply want her out of the frame just so she can make sure she won't steal her husband?! Who knows what the real reason is for backstabbing her friend? But devastatingly, when Stacey arrives back at home, she knows that she can't hide the truth from her Mum, she reveals to a trembling Jean that she has in fact been charged for assault and her solicitor thinks she could end up going back to prison. I guess it's fair to stay that Stacey's temporary exit storyline is in place and will be happening very soon?
--
The final thing I have to mention of course is Lucas and Chelsea. The one moment that did surprise me funnily enough is when Lucas had a meeting with Caleb, obviously under the false name of "Jordan", it looks as if he's having an interview to join in his line of work? Maybe? That's what I took from the scene. At first I thought that maybe he would be maybe joining Caleb to get his own back on his daughter, who knows, the way she's been treating him lately, I'd say she'd deserve it? Do any of you guys think Lucas is a changed man? I love how the soap keeps us guessing, is he? Isn't he? But from what I've seen so far, I'm starting to believe he's trying his damn hardest to live a better life, but of course there could be a huge twist that puts a spanner in the works?! Only as Lucas goes to leave, Caleb makes it known that he knows exactly who he is and calls him by his real name, which of course catches Lucas off guard. This particular moment I found very interesting, it actually made us understand in way why Chelsea is the way she is. Caleb claims that Chelsea enjoys the job, she actually enjoys the money, what it gets her and even more grotesque, the sex. Understandably, this angers Lucas, almost wanting to haul a chair at the man he's working for! But I think he realises that maybe Chelsea has become her own person, but she's chosen to take a different turn in life that he had wanted for her?
Returning to the Square after his confrontation with Caleb, once again, Lucas is confronted by his daughter shouting the odds at him, after finding out from Caleb what he had done. Fretting that Lucas is making things difficult for her, she shouts that she doesn't need saving! The only reason Lucas is doing this job, is to protect his daughter. He clearly doesn't want her going down the same path as he did, he proposes that he'll only do this drug job for her if she would do something for him in return. At first, I was trying to wrack my brains thinking what on Earth he would want her to do for him? But eventually, it looks as if that he's actually asked her to join him in church. It's here that he completely opens up to his daughter, claiming that he was too late to save his son, Jordan, but maybe, if Chelsea continues to go down the wrong path, he might not be too late to save her. As Lucas begins to pray, it looks as if his words play on her mind and Chelsea then decides to join in the prayer with her Dad, to Lucas's surprise.
However, later on when Chelsea has left the church and Lucas is sat alone,  Pastor Lawrence appears and compliments how nice it was to see Chelsea praying with her Dad at church. However, Lucas seems convinced that it was all just words, she didn't really mean any of it. It was a fake prayer! It's then that interestingly, Lucas seems to ponder that maybe Chelsea needs to go through what he himself has been through to see her way onto a better path of life. Does he mean that Chelsea should go to prison?! Is he somehow going to frame Chelsea so she'll end up being arrested and put in prison? If they end up doing the job together will he plant the drugs on her so she'd get caught? Who knows, but it looks as if that is what he's intending. Is he bring cruel to be kind? What do you guys think he's means, or what he's going to do? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you all for reading, have a wonderful weekend and for all you Mother's out there, have a very Happy Mother's Day! I'll be back very soon! Love you all xXx

"My Name's Jordan!"
Thursday 11th March 2021
Hello again everyone! The weekend is slowly approaching us! I hope you've all had a brilliant week so far and are looking forward to the weekend! I'm happy to say that this blog will finally bring up to speed with the rest of you! I've had so many things going on in my personal life, the only way I found it easier to catch up was to blog about 2 episodes in one post, but now everything should be back to normal!
There is quite a lot of drama happening in the Square right now that's fair to say. The first thing I'm going to mention is Bobby. Does anyone else feel for Bobby? Since his return to the Square he's been trying to do everything he can to live a happy and normal life for someone at his young age! But everything has been far from easy for him, being horrifically haunted by his deceased sister where he kept seeing her ghost. The poor lad had very few people to turn to, I guess he hasn't really got a best friend really has he, of course he has friends and family to look out for him, but he doesn't have that one best friend that everyone needs to turn to when they need someone. It comes as a surprise to find out that he has decided to join a dating app, and to be fair, why the hell not?
Whilst Kim is catching up with Iqra about her possible connection with Mila, Bobby is sat opposite them and Kim makes it known that finding someone for Bobby is going to be her next challenge. But before she can act, Bobby is astonished to notice that he's found a match on his dating app. Even though Kim's response is a little bit on the negative side, Iqra however shows Bobby her full support and congratulates him on his match, claiming that he deserves to be happy, which ever way he chooses to meet someone. Later in the day Bobby is home getting ready for his date with his new match, Jade. Kathy happens to get the smell of his aftershave and compliments that he's dressed up nice for the occasion, bless him. He's so cute! He voices his concerns about whether he's ready to start dating, but Kathy reassures him that it would be good for him if he was to meet someone new.
At the club, Bobby meets up with Jade, bless them both, they both look as nervous as the other. I guess you could say it was a little awkward, as they both sipped their drinks in silence before they built up the courage to make conversation. Poor Bobby, it's plain to see that he is completely and utterly nervous, and to be honest, it's understandable. It must be hard for someone like him who has spent the most of his young adult life in prison for accidentally killing his sister, to then be released and plunged into the real world, making new friendships and meeting new people, it must be a hell of scary thing! However, Jade seems really sweet asking the right sort of questions such as where he's from etc. However, when she excuses herself to use the restroom, Vinny does not help things. Whilst Bobby has been on his date, Vinny has been watching from a distance, he decides to give Bobby some advice and to just relax, thinking that he's reassuring the young lad when he mentions that Jade hasn't gone to the restroom to Google his name or anything! But of course, that DOES NOT help with Bobby! He instantly panics and does a runner, leaving poor Jade completely unaware as to why he's left. As Bobby returns home, we see him change his name on his dating profile app to Robert. I mean, is Bobby short for Robert? I really don't know, but either way, it looks as if Bobby is still really wary with people finding out who he is and what he did in his past. I don't know about you, but I kind of hope we see this Jade again, maybe she'll come back wanting an explanation from Bobby as to why he left their date? Who knows?

So the other thing we have to mention is Billy, Jay and Honey. It's the day of Janet's audition for the modelling agency and once again Billy and Jay can't seem to agree on who's going with who for the day. To stop the arguments, Honey decides to go to work, forcing Billy and Jay to go together with Janet to her audition. Sorry but I have to say, even though Billy needs to move on from Honey and accept she's with Jay, it's funny seeing the two grown men arguing like children! Unfortunately, Honey's idea doesn't go to plan. Where things are going smoothly for Janet at her audition, whilst at work, Honey has a nasty fall after climbing a ladder and reaching for some stock. After Jay and Billy hear the news about Honey's fall and she's been rushed to hospital, they once again start arguing like an old married couple about who should be with Honey and who should be with Janet.
Billy is furious to learn that Jay never answered his telephone calls, but as Jay rightly reminds him that the judge had asked them to put their phones on silent so not to disrupt the auditions. Eventually they come to the agreement that Billy should stay with Janet at her audition, as being her Father, it's only right that he should be there for his daughter. Jay will then go to check on Honey. Luckily Honey has no lasting damage to her fall, eventually she's brought home to rest up and Jay is thankful to see her safe and unharmed. However, things seem to escalate when there's a misunderstanding when Billy arrives. Billy arrives home, happy to see Honey looking safe, but as soon as Honey asks about her daughter's audition, it becomes clear that because of misread text messages, no one has been to pick up their daughter, poor Janet has simply been left at the venue on her own. In a blind panic, everyone starts to search the Square for the young girl, Jay informs them that the venue has all closed up and no one is around, it looks as if Janet could possibly have been kidnapped? For a very small brief moment, I did worry for the young girl, she's such a sweet girl and someone could easily take advantage of her disability to lure her somewhere - you just don't know really, do you?! But thankfully, she's found safe and well as a police officer walks her home. Maybe this could've been the lesson that both Jay and Billy need to make amends? Who cares who Honey is seeing as long as the children are safe? One thing is for certain, they're going to want to make sure that they can resolve their differences and put them aside for the children's sake. I'm intrigued to see how this mistake will affect them all?
--
The final thing, and main thing I need to talk about of course is Lucas!! After meeting Karen at the laundrette and finding himself a date, it was obvious that Karen was besotted with the unknown stranger, but in concern of giving him his proper name, Lucas introduced himself with the wrong name, using his deceased son's name, Jordan. At first, I kind of thought it was a little suspicious, but the more I watch Lucas in these episodes, the more I'm starting to believe that he truly is trying to be a changed man, that's all he's really wanting, isn't it?! Or am I being fooled and is it all an act?! Karen appears to be really excited about the possibility of having a new man in her life, even though her family believe it's too soon. Bernie even admits that she wants picture proof of her date when she meets him.
Understandably, Mitch is concerned for his ex-wife, claiming that it's another emotional tool to get over the loss of Chantelle, which it might be the case, but who knows? Before Lucas heads to his date, it looks as if he gets a visit from a support worker, someone who's trying to help him get back on his feet. She gives him the good news that they've managed to find him a new job and a place to live, however, the only downside is that it's in Newcastle. Lucas frets that this opportunity would not be right for him, as it would be taking him away from the people he loves most and will ruin his chance of rebuilding his relationship with Chelsea and Denise.
Later Karen arrives at the club, looking all glammed up and ready for her date, she's sat waiting patiently for "Jordan" to arrive. Looking ever so suspicious, Lucas eventually turns up, informing Karen that he wasn't expecting her to turn up, even though she's very smiley and giddy and sneakily taking pictures of her date for her family. I guess it's fair to say that Lucas and Bobby's story in this episode are quite similar, both going on a date with someone new, who have absolutely no knowledge about their past. Just as Bobby's date was awkward, but cute - Lucas's date with Karen is also a little awkward, personally, I found it quite hard to tell whether Lucas was acting suspiciously, or whether it was simply just nerves?
Meanwhile, Mitch is at the club with Denise voicing his concerns about Karen dating someone new, questioning whether it's another way of trying to cope with the loss of Chantelle. Denise informs Mitch that maybe Karen needs something new in her life, who knows? But it's then that Mitch shows a picture of the man Karen is on a date with, to Denise! Her face drops at the recognition of the man in the picture. Without hesitation, she informs Mitch everything, warning that Karen needs to be super careful with who she's dating. But back the at club, Karen and "Jordan" seem to have hit it off as they come to realise that they both have lost children. Lucas questions Karen about her children and the Father's, it seems as if he's either fishing for information or he's genuinely interested about her life.
Suddenly, it looks as if Lucas decides to come clean to Karen, admitting that he's not who he says he is, that he gave her an incorrect name, it looks as if he's about to come clean and be honest with her. But before Lucas is even given the opportunity to finish his sentence or even explain himself, Mitch comes bursting in and breaks in on their date, informing Karen that the man she's on a date with is actually Denise's ex-husband and his name is in fact "Lucas Johnson!". Poor Karen is in absolute shock when she realises her date's true identity, her attitude towards him changes instantly, leaving Lucas feeling devastated and humiliated. Later as Lucas sits alone in the pub, both Chelsea and Denise confront him about his absurd date with Karen, and how vile he is for using his deceased son's name, I don't know about you guys, but it's a this point I actually feel sorry for Lucas, just like Bobby, he wanted a chance of feeling normal, being able to go somewhere without people staring or gossiping. This confrontation however turns into a blazing row in the middle of the pub, Lucas is trying to do everything he can to make amends for what he's done and he's been shown no kind of respect from anyone since his return, especially from his own daughter.
As everyone goes home, Denise tries to softly explain to Lucas that the only way to get back into his daughter's good books, if it's what he's wanting, is to do this job for her. That way, she'll be free to be able to move on from things with Caleb and focus on her own life without any worries. It seems as if this small talk plays on Lucas's mind as the episode ends with him making a call to Caleb, once again using the false name, "Jordan"! What is Lucas up to? Is he going to set up a meeting with Caleb behind everyone's back and try and sort the situation out himself? Or could he be up to something much worse? What do you guys think?! What are your thoughts on the soap's current storylines, are you enjoying some more than others? Please leave me a comment or a message letting me know your thoughts or opinions on anything EastEnders, I'd love to hear what you have to say! Thank you again for reading, I'll be back again tomorrow! Love you all xXx

"What Has He Done To Her?!"
Thursday 4th February 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope your week is going well so far. Before we jump into the episode, there has been a few spoilers I'd like to share with you! Do you remember Gavin Sullivan?! He was a character who was mentioned in the 90s as Sharon's Father and then again in 2001 as Kathy's husband, but never actually appeared onscreen until 2015. He was known for being an "Evil" character who controlled and abused Kathy during their marriage. When he finally appeared on the Square, I'm sure the majority of you will remember that he actually kidnapped Phil during his recovery of alcoholism and caused him to start drinking again. Interestingly, considering we had heard so much about this character, he only ever appeared in 30 episodes. The last time we saw Gavin was when he was arrested for attempting to kill both himself and Sharon back in July 2016! EastEnders have announced that they are going to be killing off Gavin Sullivan off-screen! Pictures have been released of cast members including Sharon and Kathy filming, dressed in black, attending a funeral. This is going to be something that might bring Sharon and Kathy together after weeks of them being at each other's throats over Ian's disappearance. What do you think? Are you intrigued to how this storyline will unfold? I for one am really looking forward to it!
Tumblr media
Also, it looks as if there could be some sign that Tina Carter could still be alive?! Apparently in recent spoilers, Tina is meant to be seen shoplifting by police in London. Viewers have been led to believe that she was actually in fact murdered by Gray, but what we never saw was where Gray left Tina, did he dump her body believing she was dead, when in fact she could've been just unconscious? The police will inform the Carter family about their finding, even thought it may give them some hope, could it also be a case of mistaken identity? Is Tina really alive? Also what will it mean for Gray if he gets informed about Tina's sightings? I for one hope she is and that the rumours and speculation could be true, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! What do you guys think?!
Now following up on today's episode ... Wow!!! What an explosive episode! I really enjoyed this one! The first thing I'm going to mention first is Billy. I guess it's fair to say that Billy isn't in the right frame of mind right now. Having to come to terms with Honey and Jay's relationship, I guess it's fair to say he's not enjoying working for Jay right now and so he decides to look for something different. Even seeing his children out on the Square and noticing they're wearing different footwear, when Will informs him that Jay bought the kids new trainers, it looks as if that really hits Billy where it hurts. I think he's always tried to be a good Dad, but it's obvious that he feels that he could do a bit more for his kids. He approaches Kheerat in asking whether he can have job, pointing out that he's very good when it comes to sales. Instead of giving him a job straight up, Kheerat agrees to give him a trial run. I have to say this scene was particularly comical - Billy thinking he's the big man as he attempts to lean back and put his feet up on the desk, causing everything to fall on the floor. Also can I just say how lovely it is to see Bernie!!! Where has she been?! It's been AGES since we've seen her!! After a good hour or so of talking to a potential customer, Billy doesn't quite manage to grab the sale he needs, leaving himself and Kheerat pretty disappointed. Suddenly, Vinny makes an appearance, excitedly informing his brother that he's preparing to pick up a new car, almost showing off he shows Billy a picture of the vehicle on his phone. Billy seems pretty impressed, but it looks as if a very bad idea is brewing in his mind. Later on he approaches Vinny quite subtly, informing him that he knew about him and Dotty selling a small stash of gear whilst they were in Ruby's club, he questions how selling that stuff pays well. Vinny informs him it just minor stuff compared to other things, but Billy instantly shows an interest. This is something which I fear could be a huge huge mistake, Vinny then informs Billy that he has contacts, people who sell pretty high rated drugs compared to what he sold, but Billy seems more than willing to take their number. Is this what Billy has been drawn to? Drug-dealing? I fear this is not going to go well and it could lead him on a dangerous and/or dark path?!
The second thing I need to talk about is The Carter's and Phil and Sharon! After learning the truth about Sharon being the culprit who attacked Ian, both Linda and Mick are absolutely devastated to learn that they've been lied to and that Tina has been made to take the rap for her actions. Mick desperately tries to reach out to his sister, he makes a call to her but to of no avail, he ends up leaving a voice message informing her that they know who was behind Ian's attack, she's safe to come home! Something which doesn't make sense though, in their mind, is why she would send a text message admitting she had done it. Of course they have no idea that it was in actual fact Gray who sent that message from Tina's phone.  Mick and Linda are both fearing that his poor sister is out there on the street, living in fear of coming home. Meanwhile, after bumping into each other on the street, Kathy begs Phil to try and help her search for Ian. Little does she know how he was involved in her son's attack. Phil states that he simply doesn't want to get involved, leaving Kathy, understandably very disappointed and upset. As Phil turns to walk away, he bumps into Sharon, she drops the bombshell on him that she's told Linda everything. As they return to the Mitchell household, they begin to fret of what's going to happen next and whether the police are going to come knocking, suddenly they're backed into a corner when Mick and Linda arrive at the front door. They explain to them that they never meant for Tina's name to be dragged into their situation, in all fairness they don't seem to care about what they've done to Ian, just what they've done to Tina. Phil asks Mick straight out what he really wants from him, to which Mick informs him he just wants his little sister home. To be fair, they haven't threatened to go to the police, it's only right that Tina should be able to return home and not have people think it was her who attacked Ian. Meanwhile, Gray is still fawning over Whitney. He suggests going out for a drink that night, to which she agrees. However their plans seem to be ruined when Phil urgently gives Gray a call. Gray apologises to Whitney and they postpone their evening drinks, As Gray finally arrives at the Mitchell household he questions what was so urgent, as he's led into the living room, it's almost like he's been stuck by lightning - Mick, Linda and Sharon are all waiting for him, he asks how he could be of assistance. That when Phil informs him that they his help to try and find Tina and bring her home!!! Oh my gosh - that was a twist I didn't see coming! How the hell is Gray going to squirm himself out of this one? He's going to have to tread very carefully if he doesn't want them to find out his dark secret??!!
The final thing I have to mention is Denise, Chelsea and Denise!! Wow, wow, wow!!! This also took a turn which, to be fair, was only a matter of time before it was going to happen! At the beginning of the episode, Chelsea is seen packing her Dad's suitcase in preparation for her and her Dad's trip to Ibiza, however - (I think this is where it becomes clear) - she grabs what looks to be huge package of some kind and stores it within the lining of the suitcase. Drugs? Is she involved in or been caught up in some kind of drug trafficking gang and she's wanting to drag her Dad into it, potentially framing him? As she stuffs the brown package out of sight and zips up the suitcase, Lucas appears from behind her informing her that he's not feeling very well, he hasn't slept and proposes that they still shouldn't go. Chelsea is all smiles when she reassures her Dad, suggesting that she goes to the shops to buy him some tablets to settle his nerves. However the look on Lucas's face is more than suspicious. It's obvious that he knows his daughter is up to something. Later on when their taxi arrives to take them to the airport, Lucas puts everything in his power for them to miss their flight. Chelsea is shouting for her Dad from outside of the apartment informing him to hurry, but there is absolutely no response. Realising that her plan is falling apart, she claims defeat and informs the taxi driver to leave, as it becomes clear to her that they're not going to make their flight for Ibiza. Lucas is nowhere to be seen, but it looks as if he simply refuses to leave the flat, knowing that no matter how long he takes, he will make them miss their flight. As Chelsea walks across the Square in a state, Denise notices her daughter's emotions, claiming that once again her Dad is behind her feeling upset. Unbeknown to Chelsea, Denise takes it upon herself to give Lucas a piece of her mind. Now THIS is where the episode really explodes for me! Lucas is sat in the dark, she walks in to seem him alone with the suitcases. Once again she ridicules him, states how much of a disappointment he is as a Father, a man! How dangerous he is to even be on the Square and back in his daughter's life. Lucas doesn't say a word and allows Denise to go on and on, degrading him, insulting him. The editing of this section is absolutely brilliant!! The slow motion of Denise's words, Lucas's breathing, the tapping noise, the tension, the emotion, the camera work, every single moment of this was an absolute pleasure to watch, really creative and powerful! Suddenly Lucas just completely explodes, smashing everything in sight, throwing furniture across the room as Denise stands back in fear. It's then that Lucas claims he knows how everyone around him hates, how everyone he loves, hates his guts. He tries to explain that no matter how hard he tries to better himself as a man, as a Dad, there is always that notion of his past that people hold against him. Okay, yes he is a convicted murderer, but can people really change their ways? He closes in on Denise, informing her that she has no idea how it feels to be driven to hatred because of being hated. Meanwhile, as this confrontation is taking place, Chelsea is alone in Ruby's club as she makes a quick call to Caleb, deeply apologetic for her plan going the way she wanted it to. From what I can gather from the phone call, it's looks as if Chelsea owes this Caleb in some way, she's in debt to him - but what kind of debt is it? Drugs? Money? Who knows? Is this why she's attempted to drag her Dad into her problems so she can make him pay her debt? Who knows? I'm still trying to follow her story as much as I can, without getting a little confused. Caleb agrees that there will be other ways for her to pay her debt, to which Chelsea is ever so grateful. Elsewhere, after his conversation with Billy, Vinny goes to enter his apartment but as he approaches the doorframe, he notices the door ajar, with the apartment completely trashed, as he looks around he also notices splotches of blood on the front step. Taking in the scenery around him, he quickly dashes to find Jack. As they return to the apartment with Chelsea, Lucas appears to have vanished, the only thing I happened to notice is that there is only Chelsea's suitcase left waiting in the living room. As they all look around the apartment, Chelsea find's her Mum's iconic gold necklace with her initial "D" on it. Has Lucas taken his own suitcase and kidnapped Denise for second time? Will Denise be found alive?!
Ooooo overall a very powerful and explosive episode! So much drama! I love it! The more the episodes go on, the more excited I get, I simply cannot wait to see what's going to happen next. There are all sorts of directions each storyline can go. It certainly gets my heart pumping that for sure! Thank you all so much for reading, the weekend is nearly upon us! Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll be back very soon! Please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message, I'll always make the time to respond! Love you all xXx
