[Audentity] [Klaus Schulze] [1983] [Double LP] 40th anniversary of "Audentity". Another great masterpiece! An artist makes an effort to offer something new and already dyed-in-the-wool fans turn away from him. This is what happened to Klaus Schulze with the unusual but highly interesting and impressive double album "Audentity". Already with the two predecessors "Dig It" and "Trancefer" Klaus Schulze had a hard time to convince his dyed-in-the-wool fan community that digital doesn't have to be automatically bad compared to analog. Unfortunately, many 80's electronic albums were not really intoxicating. Even Klaus Schulze did not make the best albums in the 80s and 90s. “Dig It" and "Trancefer" as well as the here presented "Audentity" belong to the best from this creative phase. Well, "Audentity" is a very unusual album. It deals with the tragic and short life of the poet "Georg Trakl" to whom Klaus Schulze dedicated the short but brilliant piece "Georg Trakl" on his milestone album "X" in 1978. "Audentity" is a concept album that has its weaknesses. For example, I don't think the pieces on the first Record "Tango - Saty" and "Opheylissem" were very successful. On the other hand, I like "Cellistica", which is hated by the fans because of its allegedly clumsy rhythm, and the very romantic "Amourage"! On the second record, Klaus Schulze proves his ingenious ability to handle the latest technologies with virtuosity. Especially the piece "Sebastian im Traum", which really looks like a dream, is fantastic! For this alone it is worth to be allowed to call the record his own. . #klausschulze #klausshulze #wolfgangtiepold #michaelshrieve #rainerbloss #innovativecommunication #nowlisteningto #krautrock #klausschulzemusic #berlinschoolmusic #synthesizermusic #elektronischemusik #kosmischemusik #kosmischekuriere #kosmische #deutscheelektronischemusik #germanelectronicmusic #berlinschool #berlinschoolsound #berlinschoolofelectronicmusic #deutscheelektronischemusik #germanelectronicmusic #nowspinning #elektronikmusik #avantgardemusic #synths #nowplaying #ambientmusic #georgtrakl #sebastianimtraum #georgtraklpoetry https://www.instagram.com/p/CoSe-Q1Iu9W/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

[Sternzeit] [Adelbert von Deyen] [1978] [LP] The artist "Adelbert Von Deyen" was a big Klaus Schulze fan. You can also hear that in his musical works. This does not mean that he simply copied Klaus Schulze's works. That would not be possible because of the genius of the great master of electronic music. But Adelbert von Deyen had a similar approach and, like Klaus Schulze, loved the slow, almost static structure of his 20-minute tracks. . His debut album "Sternzeit", along with the two subsequent works "Nordborg" and "Atmosphere", is one of the best albums he has released . . Beautiful, static, monotonous, spherical sound sculptures whose hypnotic effect you can't escape and don't even want to.

[Friendship] [Ash Ra Tempel] [2000] [CD] In 2000 the friends Klaus Schulze and Manuel Göttsching decided to produce a joint album as "Ash Ra Tempel" with the meaningful title "Friendship". Yes, it's true, the two pioneers of electronic Krautrock had already gone by the band name "Ash Ra Tempel" a long time ago and had already become living legends with their fantastic sound paintings. At that time Klaus Schulze (who by the way left the band right after Ash Ra Tempel's debut album) contributed real drums next to quite few but excellent electronics. Manuel Göttsching sang(!), played guitar like crazy and also used various electronics. Almost 30 years later Klaus Schulze shines this time with electronic percussion and with the synths anyway. Manuel Göttsching conjures up wonderful reveries as ever on both electric and acoustic guitar. . The great thing about this 2000 album is the perfect harmony. Klaus Schulze plays sovereignly with an admirable restraint in the background without being dominated by Manuel Göttsching. The two exceptional musicians understand each other in a magical way without words. The sound carpets they weave together result in a uniquely fascinating total work of art of the highest perfection. Klaus Schulze and Göttsching play as if they had been permanently on stage together for 30 years. . The album title "Friendship" testifies to a truly deep and intimate friendship, otherwise the unspeakably beautiful 80 minutes full of harmony and bliss cannot be explained. . . . . .

[Moondawn] [Klaus Schulze] [1976] [LP] As is well known, Klaus Schulze and Harald Großkopf have already played together with Ash Ra Tempel. So the album "Moondawn" from 1976 could almost be an Ash Ra Tempel (whithout Manuel Goettsching)album. But with reversed roles. Klaus Schulze takes over the synthesizers and sequencers, Harald Großkopf the drums. Since both musicians are great drummers as well as electronics masters, both understand each other extremely well. That's why the collaboration on this album is so incredibly great. There are two tracks on here that come across very differently but still have the same atmospheric density. . Actually, "Moondawn" is one of the best that the "Berlin School" has to offer and I wonder why I haven't reviewed this pearl here yet! Those who did not know "Moondawn" or ignored it for some unknown reason are missing out on one of Klaus Schulze's best works (in congenial collaboration with Harald Großkopf). Sacred, pastoral, spherical sound carpets (as you know them from Klaus Schulze) interweave with real drums to an almost hypnotic trance trip that won't let go. The drums, played so beastly good by an Human(Harald Großkopf), form a perfect synthesis with Klaus Schulze's inimitably masterful electronics that I willingly let myself become addicted to this damned (but oh so wonderful) drug again and again! . . . . . #Moondawn https://www.instagram.com/p/CU2uNCno3fB/?utm_medium=tumblr

[Blackdance] [Klaus Schulze] [1974] [LP] "Blackdance" is the third official LP by Klaus Schulze. On this third album Klaus Schulze paves the way for his later known style. That is, for the first time it becomes rhythmic in his music. . Besides the new style, there is a special feature on this album, for the first time Klaus Schulze uses a singing voice. And immediately something else unusual, Klaus Schulze plays here occasionally on a 12-string guitar. . The album begins with the meaningful track "Ways of Changes". This track actually continues where the album "Cyborg" left off. But after about two minutes the guitar kicks in and a rather fast rhythm builds up supported by various percussion instruments. Sublime organ sounds carry this track over a long stretch with conga sounds(!) gaining dominance in the meantime before the electronic effects with the sublime organ slowly fade out towards the end. A very hypnotic track. . The second track "Some velvet phasing" comes completely without rhythm. Beautiful spherical synthesizer vocals. . The last track "Voices of Syn" starts with real human singing performed by the German opera singer Ernst Walter Siemon. A beautiful melancholic male voice that you can listen to for a long time without having to understand the words. After a few minutes, Klaus Schulze operates in the manner for which he has become known. Hypnotic synthesizer sequences and pulsating rhythms underpinned by a slightly dark and eerie mood. That's how I love Klaus Schulze's music! . . . . . . #Blackdance #klausschulze #klausshulze #ErnstWalterSiemon #vcs3 #brainrecords #ohrrecords #krautrock #klausschulzemusic #berlinschoolmusic #synthesizermusic #elektronischemusik #kosmischemusik #kosmischekuriere #kosmische #deutscheelektronischemusik #germanelectronicmusic #berlinschool #berlinschoolsound #berlinschoolofelectronicmusic #deutscheelektronischemusik #germanelectronicmusic #nowspinning #elektronikmusik #avantgardemusic #darkambient #nowplaying #nowlisteningto #ursamann #ambientmusic https://www.instagram.com/p/CIoAfmHpPHj/?utm_medium=tumblr
