part 2!
It was weird. So weird that it left this hollow ache in your chest every time you thought about it. Beomgyu wasn’t like this—he wasn’t the kind of person who left you wondering, second-guessing. He’d always been so easy to read, an open book with no missing pages. If something was wrong, you’d know. If he had a secret, he’d tell you. But now? Now he was shutting you out, and you didn’t understand why.
You tried to brush it off at first. Everyone gets busy, right? He had a life, you had a life, and it wasn’t like he owed you every second of his time. But standing you up three times in one week? That wasn’t just “busy.” That was deliberate.
And you weren’t mad—you told yourself you weren’t mad. You were just… confused. Hurt, maybe. Because this wasn’t like him. Beomgyu was your best friend. The guy who had spent hours trying to braid your hair after watching some random tutorial, only to give up and suggest cutting it all off instead. The guy who knew all your favorite snacks and always bought extras just in case. The guy who swore he’d never leave you hanging.
Except now he was. And every time you tried to talk to him about it, he’d brush you off with some flimsy excuse, like he couldn’t even be bothered to lie properly.
“I was just late,” he’d say, his voice light, casual, like he wasn’t tearing you up inside.
Late? For three days straight?
It was ridiculous. But instead of pushing, you waited. Because what else could you do? You couldn’t exactly drag the truth out of him, and part of you—an annoyingly soft part—was scared of what you might hear if you did.
So you waited. You sat in your apartment, half-watching reruns of a show you weren’t even interested in, your phone next to you on the couch just in case he called. And he always did, eventually, with that same apologetic tone that somehow made it worse.
“Don’t watch it without me!” he’d said the last time you saw him, practically begging. “Promise me you won’t!”
And you had. You promised. Because that’s what you always did when it came to Beomgyu—you kept your promises, even when he didn’t keep his.
But now it had been weeks since you’d paused that stupid show, and you were starting to wonder if you’d made a mistake. Maybe you should’ve just watched it without him. Maybe you should’ve stopped waiting altogether.
You sighed, slumping further into the couch. “Stupid Beomgyu,” you muttered under your breath.
And yet, you knew the moment he showed up, all of this would melt away. Your frustration, your hurt—it would disappear the second he smiled at you, like it always did. Maybe you were too soft. Or maybe…
Maybe you felt more for him than you wanted to admit.
(You did. You absolutely did.)
But it didn’t matter, right? You shook the thought out of your head. He was your best friend. That was all. Adding feelings into the mix would only ruin things, and you weren’t going to risk that.
Still, the ache in your chest didn’t go away.
You must’ve drifted off at some point because the next thing you felt was someone nudging your shoulder.
“Hey…”
Your eyes blinked open, hazy and unfocused. And there he was, crouching in front of you with that same apologetic look.
“Gyu?”
“Yeah, it’s me.” His voice was soft, quieter than usual. “Did you fall asleep?”
You wiped at your mouth, realizing you’d been drooling. Great. “How’d you even get in? I locked the door.”
His eyes flicked to the side. “You left your keys out front again.”
“I… I don’t think I did.” You frowned, sitting up and pulling your blanket tighter around yourself. “And why’s the window open? I thought I closed it.”
“You probably forgot.” His voice was quick, dismissive.
You narrowed your eyes but let it slide. “I guess. So, where’ve you been?”
“Just out,” he said, avoiding your gaze.
“Out where?”
“The grocery store,” he muttered. “You know… stuff like that.”
“Grocery store?” You looked him up and down. “Where are the groceries, then?”
His laugh was awkward, almost forced. “Why the interrogation? I thought we were watching our show.”
“Maybe we would be if you actually showed up on time,” you shot back, the words sharper than you intended.
“I said I was out!” His voice cracked, a sudden edge of frustration breaking through. “Can we just… watch the show?”
The shift caught you off guard. Beomgyu never snapped at you—not like this. You stared at him, trying to figure out what was going on in that head of his, but his expression was locked tight.
“Fine,” you said softly, scooting over to make space for him on the couch.
He sat down beside you, a little too close, and for a moment, you thought about pressing him again. But the tension in his shoulders stopped you. Whatever was going on, he wasn’t ready to talk about it.
The room felt heavier than usual. The two of you sat side by side on the couch, eyes glued to the screen, but it wasn’t the same. Normally, there’d be sarcastic commentary flying back and forth, bursts of laughter at the ridiculous plot twists, or arguments over which character made the dumbest decisions. But tonight? Silence. The kind that didn’t just fill the air—it seeped into it, cold and suffocating.
The show was playing, but neither of you were really watching. The images moved, the characters spoke, but your mind was elsewhere, and you were sure his was too.
You stole a glance at him. His face was slightly turned away, hood pulled over his head like he was trying to shield himself from the world—or maybe from you.
And then the words slipped out, quieter than you intended.
“Are you sick of me?”
Your voice was so soft it barely felt like your own, but it cut through the silence like a sharp knife.
Beomgyu froze. For a moment, he didn’t move, didn’t even breathe. Then he turned to you, just slightly, still not meeting your eyes.
“What?” His voice cracked. He swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “No. Never. Why would you even think that?”
You shifted, pulling your knees to your chest and hugging them tightly. “Because… because you’ve been avoiding me like the plague. Did you really think I wouldn’t notice? You’re kind of my best friend, Beomgyu.”
Your words hung in the air, raw and vulnerable.
“I know,” he said quietly, his voice laced with guilt. “I know, and I’m sorry.”
But he still wouldn’t look at you. His eyes stayed fixed on the screen, his hood casting a shadow over his face.
That’s when you noticed. He hadn’t taken it off—not once since he arrived. Beomgyu never kept his hood up indoors. He hated it, said it made him feel stuffy.
“Beomgyu,” you said softly, sitting up straighter. “What’s going on?”
He shook his head, pulling the hood tighter around his face. “It’s nothing. I just—can we not do this right now? Please?”
Your chest tightened. The Beomgyu you knew was open, even painfully so at times. He wore his emotions on his sleeve, never hesitating to share what was on his mind. But now? He was closed off, guarded in a way you’d never seen before.
And it scared you.
You didn’t think. You just moved closer, scooting toward him until your knees brushed against his. Your hands found his cheeks, soft but firm as you turned his face toward you.
“Beomgyu…” Your voice wavered, your heart sinking the moment his eyes met yours.
Your breath caught. His face—the left side—was a mess. Swollen, raw, the kind of bruising that made your chest ache just looking at it. It wasn’t just a scrape or a tumble. It looked angry, like it had a story you didn’t want to hear.
You swallowed hard, forcing down the gasp that threatened to escape. He didn’t need that right now. Instead, you steadied your voice, though your hands trembled slightly.
“What happened?”
He tried to look away, but your hands held him there, gently but firmly.
“Nothing,” he mumbled, barely above a whisper. “I fell—”
“Bullshit.” The word came out harsher than you intended, but you didn’t care. “This doesn’t look like a fall, Beomgyu. Not even close.”
You could feel it now—the sting of tears threatening to spill. Everything from the past few weeks was bubbling up: the missed hangouts, the lies, the hood, the silence. And now this.
“Did someone do this to you?” Your voice cracked, barely holding it together.
He hesitated. His jaw tightened under your palms, and for a moment, you thought he’d lie again. But then he exhaled, defeated.
“No. I mean… yes.” He paused, his voice faltering. “I mean… kind of.”
Your brows furrowed.
“What do you mean kind of?” Your voice cracked, rising just enough to betray the knot tightening in your chest. “Beomgyu, what’s going on? Who did this to you?”
He sighed, pulling back slightly, your hands falling to your lap. “It’s nothing,” he muttered, his voice low. “It’ll heal in no time.”
“Beomgyu—”
“I’m fine,” he cut you off, avoiding your eyes.
And then—
“BREAKING NEWS!”
The sudden burst of sound from the TV made you both jump, your heads snapping toward the screen in unison.
The anchor’s voice was urgent, almost breathless. “Spider-Man vigilante almost gets caught in bank robbery two roads ahead from West Avenue earlier tonight. Witnesses report seeing him injured but still managing to escape authorities…”
“Look at how messy the world is. God, I can’t even fathom if you were out there doing stupid shit like this,” you sighed aloud, rubbing your temples and covering your face with your hands, the weight of the week catching up to you.
Beomgyu gulped audibly. “I–”
You didn’t hear him. Your eyes stayed glued to the screen, the video playing on repeat. Spider-Man, scraped up, barely getting to his feet, stumbling before launching away into the night. Something about it nagged at you, pulling at a thread you didn’t even know was there.
Instinctively, you grabbed the remote and paused the footage.
Your gaze flickered between the screen and Beomgyu.
Then back to the screen.
Spider-Man's bruise—the one on his face—was in the exact same place as Beomgyu’s.
Your heart stuttered.
You turned to him slowly, eyes scanning him up and down. He wasn’t looking at you anymore; instead, his gaze was glued to the floor, shoulders hunched. His hoodie sleeves were pulled down to his wrists, but now, the faintest hint of color peeked out—red and blue.
“Beomgyu,” you said carefully, your voice low, deliberate. “What are you wearing?”
You didn’t wait for an answer. Before he could react, you grabbed his arm and yanked the sleeve up.
And there it was.
Red and blue, unmistakable.
The fabric of the suit stretched over his skin, torn slightly in places, the bright colors muted by smudges of dirt and—was that blood?
“What. The. Fuck.”
Your words came out in a whisper, barely audible, but the weight behind them was deafening.
Beomgyu finally looked up, his wide eyes meeting yours, panic and guilt written all over his face. “I can explain,” he stammered, his voice trembling.
“You fucking—idiot.”
Your voice cracked as you spat the words, frustration laced with a trembling undertone of worry. You bolted from the living room, leaving Beomgyu staring after you with wide, uncertain eyes. A moment later, you came back, lugging your first aid kit and dumping it unceremoniously on the coffee table.
Dropping to your knees in front of him, you started rummaging through the kit, pulling out antiseptic wipes, gauze, and bandages like a woman possessed.
Beomgyu opened his mouth to say something, but you cut him off with a sharp glare. “Don’t,” you warned, your voice trembling with restrained anger. “Just sit there and let me deal with your idiocy.”
You grabbed his chin, pulling his face toward you. His eyes searched yours, but you avoided his gaze, too focused on the task at hand. The bruise on his face looked even worse up close, a deep purple that made your stomach twist in knots.
“You’re so stupid,” you murmured under your breath, the anger bubbling to the surface as you dabbed at the cut on his cheek with an antiseptic wipe. He flinched slightly, and you pressed harder, your hands trembling.
“An idiot,” you added, almost to yourself.
Beomgyu sighed, resigned to the scolding. “I know,” he mumbled.
You scoffed. “Putting yourself in danger to protect who? Huh? People who don’t even give two fucks about you?” Your voice cracked again as you pressed a little too hard with the wipe, making him wince. “You’re an idiot for doing this to yourself.”
“The biggest idiot I know,” you finished, your voice softer now, tinged with a mix of anger and worry.
Beomgyu chuckled, the sound low and almost sheepish. “You give a fuck about me,” he muttered under his breath.
Your hands froze. You looked up at him, narrowing your eyes. “What? Are you trying to say you’re doing this because of me? Because I didn’t ask you to do any of this. In fact, I didn’t even know you had spider-fucking powers.”
His lips quirked into a faint smile, amused despite the pain. “No, that’s not what I meant. I just—”
“Don’t,” you cut him off, shaking your head. “Don’t try to justify this. You scared the hell out of me, Beomgyu.”
Beomgyu watched you, his smile lingering as he took in your flustered state. This wasn’t how he imagined you’d react when you found out. In his head, you’d be awestruck, maybe even impressed. Maybe you’d finally see him as more than just your idiot best friend.
But this? The anger, the worry etched on your face, the way your hands shook as you patched him up—it wasn’t what he expected. And yet, somehow, it made him feel warm inside.
“You’re so mad at me,” he said, the corners of his lips twitching upward.
“Damn right I am,” you snapped, tying off the bandage a little too tightly.
“You’re mad because you care,” he teased, his voice soft, almost playful.
You rolled your eyes, but your cheeks flushed slightly, betraying you. “I’m mad because you’re a dumbass,” you shot back, but your voice had lost some of its bite.
Beomgyu laughed, and for a moment, the tension eased. Despite everything, despite the bruises and the secrets and the sheer absurdity of the situation, you couldn’t help but smile faintly. Because, as much as you hated to admit it, he wasn’t entirely wrong.
You dabbed the alcohol-soaked cotton ball gently on his bruised cheek, your tongue poking out slightly as you focused. Your brows knitted together in deep concentration, and every time he flinched, you did too, wincing like you could feel his pain yourself.
Beomgyu bit his lip, trying to stifle a smile. Even in the middle of this mess, you looked so ridiculously cute, so endearingly worried. He wanted to tell you to stop fussing, but honestly, he didn’t want this moment to end.
“Does it hurt?” you asked softly, your voice full of genuine concern.
“No,” he lied, shaking his head.
You squinted at him suspiciously. “How about this?”
Before he could register your words, you drove your knee into his groin.
“WHAT THE FUCK!” he yelped, doubling over in pain.
You crossed your arms, glaring down at him as he clutched his stomach. “Hurts, doesn’t it? That’s how I feel every single time you’re out there fighting God knows what,” you snapped, your voice trembling with anger and worry.
Beomgyu groaned, still catching his breath, but he couldn’t stop the faint smile creeping onto his face despite the unimaginable pain. “You’re insane,” he muttered, still grimacing.
“And you’re an idiot,” you shot back, your arms still crossed, but your voice softened slightly.
“I’m fine,” he said after a moment, straightening up as best as he could. “I’ll be fine.”
“Beomgyu, you don’t get it,” you said, your voice breaking now as the worry in your chest spilled out. “Sure, you’re fine now. Sure, you’ll be fine tomorrow. But these people…they’re getting weirder, stronger. Yesterday it was a bank robber. And you saw the news two weeks ago—the Avengers are fighting aliens from outer space!”
He stayed quiet, his gaze dropping to the floor.
You took a shaky breath, blinking back tears. “We’re just kids, Beomgyu. From a small-town neighborhood. You’re out here fighting things you shouldn’t even be near. What happens when you come up against something you can’t handle?”
He looked up at you then, his face serious, but there was something tender in his expression too. “I can handle it,” he said softly, his voice steady.
You shook your head, biting your lip. “You don’t know that.”
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment before reaching out, his hand brushing against yours. “I’m not doing this because I want to,” he admitted. “I’m doing it because…because if I don’t, who will? If I can stop someone from getting hurt, then isn’t it worth it?”
Your heart ached at his words, but you couldn’t bring yourself to argue. Because as much as you hated it, deep down, you knew he believed what he was saying.
“Beomgyu,” you began, your voice trembling as you tried to steady the whirlwind of emotions inside you. “The people you’re saving out there…they mean the world to the people who love them. I get that. But you—” your voice cracked, and you took a shaky breath. “You mean the world to me.”
His eyes softened, the guilt in them deepening with every word you spoke.
“It’s not that I don’t care about what the fuck’s been happening with the world, but when they look at you, they see a hero,” you continued. “But…when I look at you, I see my best friend. The person who’s been there for me through everything. I can’t let you get hurt. I just… I can’t.”
Your words hung heavy in the air, and for a moment, all he could do was watch you, his lips parted as if he wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words.
“I’ll be careful,” he said finally, his voice soft but steady. “I promise. I’ll be here. Always.”
You stared at him, searching his face for something—certainty, reassurance, anything to make you believe him. “Can I count on it?”
“What?” he asked, taken aback by the raw vulnerability in your voice.
“Can I count on your promises?” you whispered, your hands clutching each other tightly, like you were holding yourself together. “Because if anything—and I mean anything—ever happens to you, I’d feel like it’s on me. For not stopping you. For not doing enough to keep you safe.”
Beomgyu’s heart broke at your words, at the way your tears glistened in your eyes but refused to fall, as if you were fighting against your own pain for his sake. He stepped closer, his hands reaching out to gently take yours.
“Nothing’s going to happen to me,” he said, his voice filled with a quiet determination. “You don’t have to carry that. It’s not on you. This is my choice, and I’ll do everything I can to keep that promise to you. To always come back. To always be here.”
You wanted to believe him, but the fear in your chest wouldn’t let go. Still, you nodded, swallowing back the tears that threatened to spill.
“Just… don’t make me regret this,” you murmured, your voice barely audible.
“I won’t,” he said, squeezing your hands gently. “I swear.”
But as much as you wanted to hold onto his words, you couldn’t help but feel the weight of everything: that no promise could shield him from the dangers he could face.
It had been a few hours, and all Beomgyu and you had done was lie on the couch, wrapped in each other's arms. Maybe a few tears here and there, mostly from you. Well, all from you, while Beomgyu kept insisting he'd be fine. It was a cycle of reassurance before things finally started to calm down.
"Why didn’t you tell me?" you asked, scratching the back of your neck, your voice quiet. "I thought we shared everything."
Beomgyu chuckled, clearly not taking you too seriously. "Well, look at how you reacted. Not too well, by the way."
You shot him a glare, not backing down. "What if you were in my shoes? You’d be telling me to take that suit off the second you found out."
Beomgyu smirked, clearly amused. "Well, that's because you have no athletic ability—"
You rolled your eyes. "The only reason you have athletic ability is because you got bitten by a radioactive spider. So... who’s really the winner here? Hint: it's the spider."
Beomgyu’s smirk faltered as he laughed softly, shaking his head. "Okay, you’ve got a point there. But still, it’s not about athleticism. It’s about being able to do something, anything, to make a difference."
You sighed, a little exhausted but grateful for the lighthearted moment amidst everything. "Just promise me, okay? No more secret superhero acts without telling me first."
His tone softened, the playful edge fading as sincerity took over. "I promise. Well, unless you don't pick up the phone and someone's getting robbed. I can't just sit back, right?"
You raised an eyebrow. "I trust you with some small-time bank robber armed with a knife or whatever, but an alien threatening to destroy Earth for eternity? That's a little different.”
Beomgyu’s grin returned, though there was a glint of seriousness behind it. "Okay, okay. I get it. Aliens are a little… above my pay grade," he teased, nudging you gently.
You crossed your arms, leaning back into the couch. "Exactly! See, now we're on the same page."
"Fine," he sighed dramatically, rolling his eyes. "I’ll leave the big, world-ending catastrophes to the professionals." He paused, then added with a smirk, "But if there's ever a small-time villain with a bad attitude, I’ll be there. I can't resist a good bank robbery."
You shot him a playful glare. "Just remember, you’ve got me to answer to if you get yourself killed trying to stop some thief."
"Wouldn’t dream of it," he said with a wink, though there was a hint of seriousness beneath the playful gesture. "Also," he muttered, "have I told you how Iron Man's basically mentoring me?"
"The Kang Taehyun? Get your head out of your ass, Beomgyu."
"Oh, I’ve got him on speed dial! Watch this." Beomgyu pulled out his phone and dialed a number, putting it on speaker. The phone rang for a while before abruptly cutting off, the screen showing that the call had been declined.
"Well... he might've been busy. I mean, he's Iron Man." Beomgyu shrugged with a grin, clearly trying to mask his embarrassment.
You rolled your eyes. "You do realize I don't care about this whole suave superhero life you're living, right? I'm mostly concerned about your safety."
Beomgyu raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, but if Mr. Kang Taehyun knocks on our door tonight, I'll just tell him to beat it. My girlfriend doesn't care."
"Girlfriend?" You raised an eyebrow, giving him a pointed look.
"Did I say girlfriend? I meant best friend. You know, because you're a girl and all…" Beomgyu chuckled nervously, quickly turning his face away from you.
“No, you said girlfriend,” you teased, raising an eyebrow. "And don't think I didn't catch that."
Beomgyu stiffened, his face turning a little red as he tried to play it off. "I—uh, I meant best friend! You know, because you're a girl and all... I—I’m just—uh, kidding. Obviously."
You crossed your arms, leaning in with a smirk. "Are you sure about that? Because it sounded like you were already claiming me as your girlfriend, Beomgyu."
“Okay, and what about it?” Beomgyu’s voice softened, his playful smirk turning into something more serious. “Let’s be real, we were this close to telling each other we liked each other anyway. So why not skip the whole confessional part and get to the point? Let’s date.”
You stared at him for a moment, unsure if you were hearing him right. The air between you felt different now, charged with something you hadn’t expected.
"Wait, are you—" You stopped yourself, suddenly self-conscious. "You’re serious?"
Beomgyu leaned back, his eyes not leaving yours. "Yeah, I’m serious. I don’t want to keep pretending like I don’t care about you more than just... this." He motioned between the two of you, his voice growing softer, yet full of conviction.
For a moment, all you could do was breathe, trying to process his words. But then, the feeling you’d been ignoring for so long bubbled up, and before you could stop yourself, you found yourself smiling.
“This is how you’re going to ask me out? Looking like Scar from The Lion King and telling me to date you while using that tone on me? This is almost too romantic,” you said, dripping with sarcasm.
Beomgyu blinked in mock offense, throwing his hands up dramatically. “Hey, Scar’s got style! I can’t help if I’m channeling his energy right now. And for the record, I wasn’t angry—I was being passionate.”
You raised an eyebrow, trying to keep a straight face. “Oh, passionate, huh? So now I’m supposed to swoon over your villainous charisma? Really selling it.”
He rolled his eyes playfully but then leaned in a little closer, his expression softening. “Look, I’m not great with words, but if you want the long, drawn-out confession, I can do that too. But you already know how I feel. I care about you. More than anyone else. So... what do you say?”
You took a deep breath, letting his words settle in, the sarcasm fading as your heart did the talking. "Well, when you put it like that...I kinda wanna hear the long, drawn-out confession.”
Beomgyu grinned, his eyes lighting up as he straightened up. “Alright, alright, if you insist.” He cleared his throat dramatically, then looked at you with all the seriousness he could muster, though a playful spark lingered in his gaze.
“I’ve spent countless nights trying to figure out how to say this. Should I tell you how every time I see you, my heart races? Or how I can’t help but smile whenever you walk into the room, like everything’s right in the world? Maybe I should mention how I think about you more than I care to admit, even when I’m supposed to be saving the city,” he said, each word sincere, though he tried to mask it with his usual humor. “But let’s get to the point. I care about you more than anything, and I think it’s about time I stopped pretending like I’m okay with just being your friend. So... what do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?”
“If you’ll take me as your girlfriend, then yes.”
Beomgyu's heart skipped a beat at your words, and for a moment, he forgot to breathe. He stared at you, eyes wide, as if processing what you had just said.
A grin slowly spread across his face, softer than his usual teasing smirk. "I think I can handle that. Might be a little tougher than fighting bad guys, but if I can take them on, I can handle you, right?"
You rolled your eyes, a playful smile tugging at your lips. "Oh, so now I'm your biggest challenge, huh?" you teased, raising an eyebrow.
Beomgyu smirked, his gaze softening as he leaned in a little closer. "You’re definitely the toughest one," he said, his voice low and sincere, "but I think I'm up for it."
"Well, good luck," you whispered, your voice suddenly quieter, the teasing giving way to something a little deeper. "You’re gonna need it."

Summary: in which you confront your boyfriend whose been hiding a secret from you for years
———————————————————————
You had been sitting in your bed for an hour waiting on your boyfriend to come over and spend some time with you. All you had gotten was a quick text from him telling you there was a ‘problem’.
You and Beomgyu have been dating for 2 years now, now both juniors in college, and he’s been keeping a secret from you the whole time. Not like you didn’t know his secret already, but when he would text you like this and call his crime fighting a ‘problem’ instead of straight up telling you he was Seoul’s very own spider-man you always felt your heart crack.
You know the man like the back of your hand and he still managed to not trust you enough to tell you. You’ve known since before you both even dated, your crush on him prominent before you even knew.
You would notice every time he wouldn’t show up to class, coming in late or missing lunch after watching a news recording on his phone. He always came back disheveled and flushed, like he had been running or working out. At first you had assumed he had sex a lot, always ditching class to get his dick wet.
But soon after that thought crossed your mind you caught him. You watched him take off the mask after throwing some petty robbers into prison. It only made your love for him grow, knowing he was so strong and brave enough to risk his life everyday just did something that made you fall for him harder than before.
Eventually you both began hanging out, he managed to keep his eye on you as well as being a hero and being top of his class. He really made you feel special that way so you always made sure to understand that when you have to wait for him, it’s okay because he’s saving lives.
As quickly as you fell into your thoughts you were dragged out of it by the sound of your phone ringing, notifying you that your boyfriend finally had a time of peace to come see you.
A smile was now stuck on your face, excited to see Beomgyu after a few days of him practically ghosting you. You quickly responded, throwing in a couple hearts out of excitement before hitting send.
—————
Half an hour has passed since Beomgyu sent you the text that he would be coming over. You’ve started to lose hope already, the food you made him,, your mothers tteokbboki recipe she gave you before you left for college,, was now cold.
As you began packing the food up back into the fridge you heard a knock. Closing the Tupperware of rice cakes you walked to the door, peeking into the peep hole just to find no one there. “what..?” you muttered before hearing a louder knock, this time behind you.
Slowly you looked behind you to the balcony your dorm was accompanied with. There was no way Beomgyu was coming in through your balcony right? You live on the 5th floor for fucks sake, this wasn’t really how he was going to tell you his secret right?
Your feet pattered against the floor as you made your way to the balcony, opening up the door with a confused look sketched all over your face, and there he was, Choi Beomgyu standing there with a bashful grin and annoyingly normal clothes. “Hi pretty.” He spoke with a slight rasp and whisker smile.
You just blinked, looking behind him at the drop of your balcony. “How did you get up here, Gyu?” You asked with faux confusion, more so wondering what he would say.
Beomgyu turned to look over his shoulder, peeking at the drop as well before looking back with a now nervous grin. “I- well- I climbed.” He admitted, unsure how to explain how he even did that.
His answer stunned you though, he just straight up told you. “How did you even do that, there’s nothing but balconies up here and it’s the fifth floor Gyu.” You called him out as he you gave him room to walk in and get his jacket off.
As Beomgyu walked in he took in your words trying to find an excuse. He only showed up on the balcony cause he forgot his spare keycard in his dorm, used to just jumping out his window whenever he’s needed by the police. “I sorta maybe forgot my keycard at my dorm.”
You rolled your eyes as you closed the balcony door. “Well no need to dwell. I made my mom’s tteokbboki, find a movie and i’ll heat it up.” You spoke, getting some pressure off his back as you gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before making your way to the kitchen.
Beomgyu gave you a firm nod before making his way into your room. You proceeded to reheat the food you packed up already, thinking about whether to tell him you knew his secret or not.
Once the microwave announced that the food was ready you took it out, giving it a quick stir and grabbing some drinks before heading into your room. You were a little tense, mentally pushing yourself to tell him after keeping it from him all this time.
As you sat down, Beomgyu moved closer, helping you get settled on the bed with him. “So what movie did you pick?” you asked while passing him a soda can. Beomgyu happily took it from you, thanking you in the process before responding. “I picked that new spider-man movie, the new york spider-man everyone keeps making movies about.”
Beomgyu spoke with a tinge of jealousy. “Well he must be really good if he has this many movies.” You responded while fishing out a rice cake from the red sauce. “I like our spider-man more.” Beomgyu said firmly. With a giggle you nodded. “I like our spider-man more too.” You agreed, ignoring the way his face lit up in response.
Beomgyu reached for the remote to play the movie and you took a bite of the chewy and spicy meal, humming at the taste of it. After the movie began playing Beomgyu grabbed his chopsticks and went for the boiled egg at the bottom of the bowl, it was always his favorite part of the dish.
You watched through your top eyelashes as he practically scarfed down food. He must have grown an appetite from fighting. “Hungry Gyu?” You questioned him and he stiffened, pausing to actually chew and swallow his food before nodding. “I didn’t eat at all today.” he admitted as he grabbed more rice cakes and sauce.
You shook your head. “Why didn’t you eat?” You asked, half concerned and half scolding him. You knew the answer but if he wasn’t going to tell you, you might as well make him feel a little guilty about it. “Ah w-well..” He muttered, using his index finger to move his bangs out his eyes. “I don’t think you’d believe me if I told you.” He said with a pout.
You just stared, waiting. There was no way in hell he was going to come clean after all this time of leaving you in the dark. You watched as he lifted the sleeve of his hoodie. It seemed normal enough, but then he went and reached under the scrunched sleeve and pulled out the red sleeve of the suit, the iconic spider web design laced into it. No fucking way.
You just stared at it. Do you act shocked? Do you tell him that your knew? You were panicking. “I knew.” You muttered, looking back up just to freeze at the darkness in his eyes. You were expecting everything but that. “Since when?” Was all he said. He never let his satoori slip around you, he knew it sounded a bit harsh at times but in this point in time it seemed like he genuinely didn’t care, practically spitting it out harsher than it needed to be.
You frowned, not even wanting to answer his question. “Before we started dating.” You answered anyways, waiting for the harsh response to come in. But all that was given was a sigh and a soft “Why did you never tell me?” Your frown stayed however, knowing he was still upset. “I didn’t want to add on to your stress, being spider man is already hard enough without someone knowing your identity, why would i make it harder for you?” you answered with a question back, knowing there was no answer.
“Show me..?” You asked, leaning forward into him a bit more. Slowly but surely Beomgyu turned his wrists upward, the small holes in his wrists were barely noticeable, opening and closing with his heart beat only slightly. You watched as he reached across your room for your unplugged lava lamp. Nothing happened for a moment and you just looked at him, finally realizing he was staring at you. “You really knew for that long?” He questioned you again but all you did was nod, watching his wrists once more.
You had expected his to throw his hands into those iconic spider-man signs but instead he kept it open, flexing his forearm for a second before the webs came shooting out to the lava lamp, sticking to it immediately as he pulled it back to you both and catching it with one hand. You flinched at how close it got to your face but calmed down when you registered you were safe.
Slowly you reached over to touch the webs as he set down the lava lamp, it was thin and stringy, sticky and elastic. “So cool..” You muttered as you dragged a thumb over the holes against a wrist, jumping back when you heard him let out a noise. “Did that hurt? I’m sorry, Gyu!” You apologized ferociously, panicked that you had went too far.
Beomgyu just laughed at you. “ I liked it.. Felt good, I never had anyone touch my spinnerets before.” He admitted with a small blush to his ears. “Then may I?” You asked this time, unsure if he would be fine with it or not. Once he gave you a firm nod you went back, pressing a finger on the pulsating holes. You slightly grazed your nail over it and felt beomgyu squirm.
“Does it really feel that good?” You asked him, raising a brow. All he did was hum in response, a tight lipped nod following. “do the webs only shoot out fast? oh my god do you eat insects?” You threw questions at him left and right, now curious about how much of him is spider.
Beomgyu just snorted. “I eat like a normal human being Y/N, I’m not a complete spider. and my webs have always come out fast, sometimes there’s a blockage sometimes where they won’t come out at all but they’re never slow.” He answered tugging at his bottom lip as you kept running you thumb over the holes, fascinated. You never got to see them before, it’s all so new to you.
Beomgyu soon let out a whimper when you wouldn’t let up on his spinnerets. “Y-Y/N..” He whined and clutched his hand into a fist, not wanting to rip his hand from you because of the sensitivity all while trying not to make it so known he we slowly getting aroused by the feeling.
Eventually you pulled back, noticing how he was panting, practically begging for air. “Was that too much? I’m sorry I’ll calm down.” You said, now wondering how good it must feel if he’s reacting this way. It didn’t take long to figure it out however. Your eyes glanced down for a moment only to double take onto his gray sweat pants, specifically his crotch, a small patch darker than the rest in a tattletale manner that the superhero was leaking precome ready to cum in his pants untouched, not to mention the bulge that accompanied this small spot.
Beomgyu saw your eyes, flushing in embarrassment. “I- I didn’t know that would happen Y/N. I swear-“ He tried to explain himself, cheeks red. You cut him off however, placing a finger on his lips before leaning down to his wrist where the holes rested.
Once your finger moved he questioned you. “What are you do- ah fuck-“ He gasped out as you licked over the holes. Wanting to see just how sensitive he could get. The reaction was good enough for you so have another lick over the hole and blew on it, letting the cold air cause him to shiver.
The feeling went straight to Beomgyus cock, making him buck his hips at the pleasure. “That really does rile you up, Gyu.” You said with a smirk, dragging your lips up his arm to his shoulder, then to his neck, jaw, cheeks, and finally his lips.
Food and movie now forgotten you crawled into his lap, his arms immediately pulling you in at the waist as you explored each others mouths, teeth scraping each other and tongues covering every area of your mouths. Soon enough he pulled off, both you guys catching your breath as he lifted your chin up, you being a bit smaller in his lap allowed him to sink you down enough to fully look over you.
Beomgyu lifted your chin, holding your mouth open with his thumb on your bottom lip before spitting into it. “Swallow it.” He said with a growl and you did, a hum following before you both went back in, your hand going straight to his sweats, palming and gripping his cock through it. You guys were never really aggressive when it came to sex or foreplay, but with the way Beomgyu initiated this and the way you teased him you just knew this was going to be fun.
Eventually you both broke apart, filling your lungs back up before Beomgyu quite literally tore off your shirt, grabbing it by the hem and ripping it into two just to get to your breasts. With a moan you let him grope you, feeling his cold hands glide over your bra before lifting it up and exposing your breasts and hard nipples.
Beomgyu was usually soft and vanilla with you, gentle and calm but tonight it’s like he snapped, a whole new person. “God I should just stick you to this wall and have my fun.” You hear him mutter into your chest. “Fuck, Gyu-“ You whine as he starts sucking on your nipples, let them harden in his mouth and grow more sensitive.
Once your nipple is hard and you’re squirming in his lap he lets go, taking off his own shirt before pulling off your shorts and underwear in one go. You’re helping by unclipping your bra and going for his pants, which he slaps your hand away and picks you up. You let out a yelp as he quite literally manhandles you.
Once you both are off the bed he’s pinning you to the wall, his bigger hands over your smaller ones, keeping them above your head. All you could do was look at him, surprised more than anything that he was going through with his thoughts.
At some point in you staring at him he flips you to face the wall, mushing your head against it as he webbed your hands in place. It was sticky but soft at the same time, like a silk glove that was wet before being worn.
You tried to wiggle out, testing the strength of his webs for yourself and you didn’t even budge, completely stuck to the wall. You whined as you struggled to see him but it didn’t last long because you felt his hands on your hips pulling you back into an arch, ass out and hands stuck to the wall. Once he let go you were about to move but felt more webs stick you down, unable to move out of this uncomfortable position.
“Shhh just let me use your pretty hole baby, don’t worry i’ll make sure you get to cum.” he whispers into your ear, running a cold finger down your bare back, giving you a quick shiver that ran all the way down to your cunt. You feel him pull away and try to turn your head but your arms blocked from your sight.
soon you hear him shuffling, you can’t pin point what he’s doing so you whine, wiggling your ass to him in an attempt to fuck you already. Your skin was already burning up at this point, feeling hot under his silky webs.
“So impatient..” You hear him whisper before letting out a moan, taunting you. What is he doing? His he just getting off and leaving you here. You can’t see what he’s doing and it’s driving you mad.
That feeling went away however when you felt something wet rub against your folds. “A-ah~ Gyu please don’t tease.” You mumble as he hums, enjoying your wet folds on his cock. After a minute of back and forth rubbing he pushed through, You were so wet, so warm, so tight. A moan slipped from you and your head fell forward, caught by the wall you were of so close to.
As soon as he bottomed out he began fucking you, hands on your waist like you were some fuck toy for him to get off with. Whatever you had done to him had him in a haze, slowly his hands left you, fucking you with no hands as you followed his thrusts back anyways and brought his wrists up to his mouth, breath fanning over the holes as he pounded into your cunt. His heart was racing like he had taken aphrodisiacs.
“Fuck what did you do to me.” He muttered before licking at the holes that were pulsating with his heart. The feeling did nothing but travel straight to his cock, twitching hard inside you as he bucked harder. Your legs were trembling, unable to handle how aggressive he was being. The pace was unforgiving and the knot in your stomach was tightening painfully.
Just as you let out a whine, knowing you were gonna cum he pulled out. Your hips fell back into nothing but air and your heat clenched around itself angrily at the denied orgasm. “Why-“ You begin, protesting at the loss of your pleasure only to yelp in sensitivity as beomgyu comes back, his fingers on your clit.
You bucked into his fingers, he knew your body like the front and back of his hand, you always felt the most pleasure in your clit, being fingered didn’t do much for you unless it was his doing the work. “You did this to me, Y/N.” He panted, the speed of his fingers rubbing you building your orgasm right back up. All you could do was shift weight on different feet to try an get away, the pleasure was too much for you to handle, but that didn’t stop him from chasing your clit.
Soon your voice was so loud Beomgyu was sure you’d end up with several noise complaints. You, on the other hand, couldn’t even hear yourself anymore, only able to hear your heartbeat and ringing. Beomgyu watched the way your cunt clenched around itself, threatening to release more juices than it already had dripping out.
“Almost there, doll.” He hummed before dropping to his knees, fingers leaving you to start crying in frustration. You were impatient and in pain from the constant denial. Beomgyu watched your heat drip more and more pleasure, almost as a lure for him to come back. Luckily for you, he did, lips to lips he licked stripes up your cunt before completely going in.
His hands held you by your waist to keep your squirming to a minimum before he took your clit into his mouth, tongue rubbing in figure 8’s with no abandon. “O-Oh” Was all your brain could let out, Beomgyu loved eating you out, if he could live life with you attached to his face he would.
Your legs trembled at the feeling of his hot tongue making out with your lower half, you could feel his nose rubbing against your heat, prodding and teasing you further. Whimpers and moans mixed with the sound of Beomgyu lewdly slurping up your cunt like it’s his sole purpose was all that could be heard, along with the occasional “You taste so fucking good” he’d mutter against you in a pussy drunk haze.
Your position left Beomgyu frustrated at some point, wanting you flipped, so he left your cunt and stood up, wrapping an arm around your waist before reaching to your hands and ripping off the webs you struggled with, with ease. Your arms fell and your upper half with it, but Beomgyu tightened his grip so you only slouched and rubbed off the webs that stuck your feet in place with his own. Once you were free you were being thrown back onto the bed, completely avoided the half empty bowl of food.
Beomgyu followed your body to the bed, looking at the food in the corner of his eye before quickly slinging a web to the top that rested next to it and pulling it towards him. Catching the top with one hand as he crawls over you he pushes the lid onto the bowl before putting it on the nightstand. In the meantime you were whining and trying to get friction from his hard on as he crawled on top of you.
Once he felt it was safe to continue, and not in fear of staining everything with tteokbboki sauce he went back down, grabbing your thighs as he pulled you to the edge of the bed. Your legs opened fast, wanting him back to finish you off. “So impatient” He teased, knowing damn well he was edging you on purpose.
You let out another whine as he kissed your inner thigh, hands gripping your knees to keep you from shutting your legs on his face, not that he’d mind. His kisses fluttered from your knee to your bikini line before he placed a few kisses on your clit. You squeaked as you felt him slowly trace kisses from the hood of your clit to licking the ball of nerves.
Your hands, now free, shot down to his hair, intertwining your fingers into it before pulling when he flattened his tongue on your folds. Slowly he built up your orgasm again, kissing and slurping your arousal. He wanted you to cum just as much as you did, he wanted nothing more than to taste your pleasure as a reward for treating him so well, keeping his secret, and well he just loved to eat you out too.
His tongue teased your entrance a few times before pushing in. Your grip on his hair only tightening as you pulled his face in, grinding on his nose and suffocating him. Beomgyu was loving every bit of it, he took a hand off your knee and plunged his middle and ring finger into the wet throbbing hole after moving back up to your clit. “Oh-“ you let out. The sound were oh so lewd, making your heart pound even harder.
Quickly, your arousal soaked his fingers as he curled them up, hitting your g-spot with the pads of his fingers. “Oh god- Fuck Gyu.” You pant, arching yourself into him in hopes he quicken the speed. The feeling of your cunt in his mouth and his fingers in you had you severely overwhelmed, so sensitive from the failed orgasms, you were scared he was going to stop again so you held him tighter, grinding even harder into his face.
You orgasm snuck up on you, crashed over you before you knew it. Your legs shook and you mouth hung open into a silent scream as you seen stars, not even aware at the fact that you squirted in your boyfriends mouth, pulling him into and keeping him there to take it all. The feeling left you numb, you were dizzy and your body was buzzing.
“Fuck..” You heard Beomgyu in a muffled voice, slightly gargled. You slowly came back, letting him go little by little with heavy pants before looking down at him. Your thighs were soaked, along with his bangs and his lips and chin, some even making it to his cheeks and nose. A small groan rumbled from him as he came on himself, reacting to your orgasm.
“We aren’t done.” Beomgyu said, slurring over his pussy drunk haze. The hero pulled himself up and pulled you even closer, planting his hips in between yours before he slammed into you. A groan fell from him and a scream fell from you, overstimulated to hell because of him. “G-G Fuck Gyu- A-Ah~” You tried to pull him off, struggling to keep your legs open for him as you clit throbbed painfully.
Beomgyu only responded by closing your legs and pressing your knees to your chest, holding you into a mating press as he fucked into your gummy walls. “You’re so tight- So perfect for my cock.” He rambled as he slammed his hips into yours, pausing for a second to rut into you deep and hard before pulling out almost all the way and slamming back in. Your eyes rolled back as he leaned his head next to yours, licking the shell before whispering dirty words into them. Before you knew it, your orgasms aligned with one hit to your cervix and a matched groan left you both.
Beomgyu slowed down, moving back to rutting against your clit as he pumped his cum deep into you, practically breeding you as the tip of his cock kissed your cervix, begging to get you pregnant. Slowly Beomgyu pulled out, letting a long moan fall from his lips while you whined. His cock coated in both your cum, a ring around the base of his cock from the constant rutting and his cum came oozing out onto the sheets as he fully slipped out.
“Let’s get you cleaned up baby.” He panted, fighting another boner at the sight. You, however, didn’t hear him; completely passed out from the strength of both orgasms. “Fuck.” He muttered before pulling you up into his arms. “Ill have to clean you up myself.” He whispered before planting a kiss to your sweaty forehead and making his way to your dorm bathroom.

Tumblr media
It was late at night, you were trying to study for your chemistry exam. You were supposed to study with Huening Kai, since he was the best at chemistry in your class, but he canceled last minute because he had a doctor appointment or something like that.
You had already studied with him last semester since your chemistry teacher suggested it because your grades were very low, and surprisingly you understood everything he explained to you and you passed the final exam.
You were very excited to receive tutoring from him again, you had always find him very interesting and wanted to know him better, plus he was really handsome. You might’ve developed a small crush on him throughout this year. Every time you saw him walking down the stairs of the apartment complex you both lived in he would smile and wave and some other times if you were lucky he would walk with you to school.
You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard something outside your room. You stood up from your desk chair and went to check what the noise was. You went to your kitchen and realized the noise you heard was only your cat trying to reach his food container. You sighed and gave him some food and caressed his head.
“Try not to be so loud, I’m studying.”
With one last pat on your cat’s head you went back to your room. You opened the door and turned on the lights. But as soon as you did you realized there was someone else in your room.
A loud scream left your lips, and your eyes widened at the sight of this other person.
“Spiderm- Kai?!” You were so confused. In front of you there was a bruised and bleeding Huening Kai in a Spider-Man suit.
“Yn! What are you doing in my room?!” He said surprised and made an attempt to cover himself with his hands.
“Your room?! This is my room!” What are you doing in my room?!” You responded in his same surprised tone.
He looked around and his eyes widened. “Oh…Oh! I’m very sorry! It was so dark outside and I didn’t see where I was going, or climbing… well it doesn’t matter-“ he started rambling and muttering things until you stopped him.
“You’re Spider-Man?” He stopped talking and looked at you.
“Uh… well I guess there’s no point in denying it.” He scratched the back of his head but he winced at this.
“Are you okay?” You walked closer to him. “You’re all bruised and your lip is bleeding…”
“Oh, it’s nothing, I’m okay.” He smiled awkwardly.
“Let me go get my first aid kit.” You left your room and went to get the kit and some ice cubes. When you entered your room you saw Kai sitting in your bed.
“Oh I’m sorry, I don’t know if it’s okay if I sit here…” he chuckled nervously and stood up.
“It’s okay, you can sit. You seem really tired.” You sat besides him and opened your kit and took out some bandages and stuff to clean his wounds.
“Yeah, it was a long night.” You nodded and started to clean the dry blood from his face. His eyes went shut when you brushed an open cut on his cheek, and he winced in pain.
“I’m sorry!” He muttered a small “it’s okay” and you continued to help him. You were in silence but it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. After a few minutes you finished. “There. Just continue putting ice in your head so it doesn’t hurt too much.” You smiled and he nodded.
“You didn’t have to, you know?” He said holding the ice package on the side of his head.
“I know, but take as payback for helping me study.” He smiled and nodded.
“Thanks…” both of you stayed quiet while you put everything back in the kit.
“I’ll get you some water.” You stood up and went to the kitchen to get him a glass of water.
When you returned to your room you saw Kai with your cat on his lap, he was stroking his head gently while your cat purred.
“Seems like he likes you.” He chuckled and looked at you.
“I guess, not many cats are fond of me, but yours seem to like me.” He gave you a smile and you sat next to him.
“He’s an introvert, he usually hides when there’s people here.” You said and you handed him the glass of water and he gladly accepted it.
“I thought you were going to be more surprised about… you know.” He said after he took a sip of water.
“Well yeah i was surprised, but I was more worried about how bruised you were.” You chuckled. His cheeks turned into a soft shade of pink.
“Thank you yn…” he said and you smiled. “Can I ask you for a favor?”
“Sure, what is it?” You turned to face him.
“Please don’t tell anyone about it, I don’t know what would happen if everyone finds out I uh, am Spider-Man…” he sighed.
“Yeah, don’t worry. Your secret is safe with me.” You smiled at him and he returned the smile.
“I guess I should get going, we have school tomorrow.” You nodded and he stood up leaving your cat on your bed.
“Yeah, you should get some rest.” You stood up and he opened your window. “You’re going out the window? Don’t you prefer using the door?” You said with a puzzled expression.
“Oh, um you’re right.” He awkwardly said and closed the window. You led him to your door and opened it.
“Well, um I’ll see you tomorrow Kai.” You turned ti face him and he walked outside.
“Yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow yn.” He smiled and waved goodbye. He walked away and you closed the door.
You went back to your room and smiled to yourself.
“What the he’ll just happened?” You asked yourself. After a while you went to bed and fell asleep.
The days went by and every other day Kai would enter “accidentally” to your room, with the same excuse of mistaking your apartment with his. But he really wanted to see you. He wanted you to clean his wounds and spend time with you. He started spending more time with you at night, and it turned into an every day thing.
One day you woke up due to the sun rays peering through your window, you got out of bed to close the blinds but you realized there was something outside your window.
There was a spider web covering part of your window. You would normally get scared and start looking if there was a spider, but this spider web was different. It had a heart shape.
“Is that even possible?” You asked yourself.
“Could it have been Kai?”

(help me) a/n. i've wanted to do this for so long. and i'm so freaking excited posting this rn. i hope i did an okay job 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sometimes you wondered why you had been so unlucky in your life. Every unfortunate event seemed to happen to you, while everyone you knew was just swimming in good fortune. It simply wasn’t fair or even explainable.
Your bad luck seemed to be on a streak this particular week, Monday starting off with a failed test grade, Tuesday gifting you a new top-ten most embarrassing moments of your life encounter, and insomnia blessing your body with no sleep on Wednesday night. Whoever was up there in the sky deciding peoples fates was outdoing themselves with yours.
After taking a power nap until 11 pm to substitute for the lost sleep, you got out your textbooks and notes to study for your upcoming science exam. You were so sure you were going to fail. You couldn’t focus in class recently, which meant you didn’t understand any of the chemistry you were supposed to learn in the unit, and there wasn’t even time to ask your teacher for help or a study session. The test was tomorrow, so you knew you were screwed.
There were two reasons that you had pinpointed for why you were losing focus. The first was because of your boyfriend, Beomgyu. He always seemed to be busy, and your usual late night dates were always cancelled last minute. It felt like he was ignoring you, or even falling out of love, you weren’t sure.
You had noticed that he seemed to be weirdly focused on something particular lately, taking his focus off of school and you. He had been spacing out for a couple weeks now. You’d seen him researching spiders one day in your computer block and you had jokingly asked him if he was going to pursue being an arachnologist. But that was only the first thing taking up space in your brain.
The second was because you kept being reminded of the news report from Tuesday night. A teenage girl’s body was found dead in an alleyway not too far away from your apartment building. The report had you spooked ever since that night.  “Found stabbed to death. A total of 34 flesh wounds were located,” The investigations reported.
Worst of all, the victim had been around your age. When you first heard about it, you were surprised that it wasn’t you lying dead in the alleyway. With your bad luck, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched.
Apparently, a witness on the scene had claimed a masked red figure had swooped down to save them, “swinging from building to building with a sticky fluid similar to a spider web”. Because of the absurd claims of the witness, the nickname, Spider-Man, was quickly adopted for the mysterious hero.
To be honest, despite the blurry images of a guy in a black and red suit, you were skeptical of the rumours. If this superhero really did exist, how did he fail to save one of the girls? He seemed like a pretty lousy hero to you. Maybe he was inexperienced or something.
Your mother would probably laugh at your thoughts right now. You had always been untrusting towards the news since you were two. She said your skepticism was one of your strengths, even though most people found it annoying. At least you weren’t trusting the media blindly and actually putting in some thought of your own.
You had gotten through 5 problems on the practice test for science, and each answer was jotted down with 0 confidence that it was right. You were really hopeless when it came to science. You were very fascinated by it, but when it came to actually doing it, you were just bad at understanding the concepts. Biology was decent enough for you, but chemistry went straight over your head. Usually you would have your science genius boyfriend to help you with it, but due to the situation explained before, he didn’t make it to any of your recent study dates.
Your concentration on a question about ionic bonds was broken with a tapping at your window. You turned, confused and half-expecting that you were hallucinating or something. But there actually was someone tapping on your window. They had somehow managed to climb up the fire escape to reach your apartment on the 8th floor.
You were hesitant about opening the window at first, but the person kept thumping on it consistently and saying something you couldn’t quite pick up on. Curiosity combined with your novice martial arts skills gave you enough confidence to go to the window and take a closer look.
“Is that-” You whispered, shocked at what your eyes were seeing as you pushed open the window. “Are you… the Spider-Man?” You asked the masked person, wielding your pocket knife as an emergency weapon just in case.
“Yeah, that’s me- the one on the news.” He nodded furiously, choking out the words. You raised an eyebrow, wondering why he was struggling to get words out and also why he came to your apartment. “Please, can I just come in-? I don’t think I can stand-”
You hurriedly opened the window enough and pulled him in. He was holding his stomach tightly as if he was in pain. You glanced down at your hand that helped pull him through the window, now stained with blood.
“Are you bleeding?!” You asked urgently, mind freaking out. You weren’t prepared to patch up someone, let alone a superhero who probably had superhero level injuries as well.
He nodded slightly, sliding down your bed frame on the floor, “I was beating this guy up, and then they suddenly pulled out a knife and-” He stopped his rambling to look back at you, the eye-parts of his mask portraying his facial expression. He looked desperate and like he knew you would help.
You sighed slightly. You were at least glad that your room’s carpet had been replaced for hardwood floor last year. You would be able to clean up any blood stains on wood more easily than carpet.
You were about to rush to the bathroom to get some supplies, but you paused. Why were you helping him? Just 3 minutes earlier, you were thinking about how lousy a hero he was.
He winced in pain from the floor, some blood dripping from his side. You shook off your stupid thoughts. Who cares if you don’t know him at all? He was hurt, and he came to your room, so you should at least try to help him the best you could.
“I’ll be right back- shit, this is bad.” You muttered quickly, running to the bathroom. You grabbed whatever you could find that might help; gauze, disinfectant, water, towels, bandages, cotton swabs. You wished you had remembered that first aid class you had taken to become a babysitter when you were 14 a bit better, but it had barely gone over treating big injuries like this. The worst you ever had to deal with was a scraped knee.
You placed the supplies down, getting on your knees to be on the same level as him, “You should take the mask off, it’ll help you breathe better to not have it.” You said.
He shook his head, “I’m not taking it off.”
You shrugged, “Your choice, I guess. What is it with superheroes being so eager to hide their identity?” You rolled your eyes, grabbing a towel, “You’re all probably old men in your 30s or 40s covered in flashy spandex suits.”
“I am not!” Spider-Man protested, flustered at the thought.
“Whatever you say… Hmm, I didn’t think this through well-” You paused, wondering how you were going to patch him up while he was wearing a full-body suit. You couldn’t ask him to take it off, that would be absurd. “I think I still have some of my boyfriend’s clothes in my drawer, one sec.”
You searched through your bottom drawer where you kept your pyjamas and managed to find a black shirt with some science pun on it. You sniffed it first, and your boyfriend’s woody cologne still traced the cotton fabric of it despite it not having been worn by him for weeks. You threw it to Spider-Man along with some sweatpants.
“I’ll give you 5 minutes to change and I’ll be back. I’d tell you to go to the bathroom, but I’d like to consolidate the blood to just my room, please.” You murmured, “And don’t touch any of my things-” You said finally, shutting the door.
You stayed right outside the door, hearing a small laugh and a little murmur that you could barely make out as, “cute”. You furrowed your brows. Did Spider-Man just think you were cute? You’d have to reinstate to him that you just gave him your boyfriend’s clothes, and that you were happily taken.
Then again, if Beomgyu was falling out of love with you, maybe he would break up with you soon- You tensed up, shaking the thought away.
“5 minutes are up, can I come back in?” You asked.
“Yeah, come in.” He called back.
You opened the door, the superhero now adorning your boyfriend’s clothes, but mask still on. He looked surprisingly natural with them on, or maybe you just thought that because your boyfriend hadn’t worn them in forever.  It had been weeks since you had seen him in a T-shirt, which was also weird cause he used to live in them. He wore exclusively long sleeves now, even though it was fairly warm. He often adorned big hoodies with the hood up, covering most of his face.
Your best friend said that he was probably trying to conceal hickeys from another girl that he was cheating on you with, but you knew Beomgyu wouldn’t ever think of cheating while in a relationship. He would at least break up first. The thought did confuse and bother you, but you didn’t want to seem like an annoying, naggy girlfriend, so you didn’t press him about it.
“You can keep these clothes, by the way. My boyfriend hasn't come over in a couple weeks. He’ll probably break up with me soon, and I’m sure he won't miss one pair of clothes.” You muttered bitterly, opening up the bottle of disinfectant and a packet of sterile cloths. You weren’t sure why you were telling this to a complete stranger, but it made it a bit less awkward while you disinfected his wound.
“What? Why would you think that?” Spider-Man asked. You smiled at how his tone seemed so concerned for you. Why would a superhero care about someone like you?
You shrugged, “We barely talk, and it feels like he has no time for me anymore… I would tell this to him, but I don’t want to ruin the times we actually get to spend together by interrogating him. Still, it feels like he’s hiding something from me.”
“Maybe he’s just waiting to tell you- ouch.” Spider-Man offered, tensing up from the sting of the disinfectant.
“Maybe… But how hard is it to spend some time with your girlfriend? He’s not out trying to save the world like you, so what the heck is he doing?” You pointed out, using the first example of something important you could think of, which happened to be the superhero seated in front of you.
“What if he is trying to save the world?”
You rolled your eyes, “My boyfriend doesn’t have what it takes to save the world. He’s scrawny and nerdy and goofy and I love him, but he’s nothing like people on TV.” You said while wrapping the gauze around his stomach, “Plus, he barely has any muscles, so he’d be pulp in any fight. I mean, look at your defined abs and muscular physique… If you took one look at my boyfriend you’d know what I’m talking about.” You explained with a smile.
You didn’t say it like it was anything bad— in fact, it was one of the things you liked about your boyfriend the most. He wasn’t intimidating or challenging. He was comfortable and approachable and safe. You weren’t one to fall for someone based on a muscular figure.
“Have you ever had a secret you were scared to share?” Spider-Man asked after a moment of silence.
You paused, thinking for a moment, “Yeah, I had one once. Why?”
“I’m kinda… struggling with that right now. I need to share it cause it’ll be worse if I keep on hiding it, but I’m really… really scared.” He admitted honestly. He sounded stuck and genuinely confused. You didn’t realise a superhero could sound this helpless and lost, but you felt the urge to help him with this as well.
“Do you need some advice?” You asked, packing up the kit. He nodded. “Just tell them. Whoever it is you’re hiding it from. It’s better to rip off the bandaid instead of waiting forever out of fear. If you want to tell them and are ready to, don’t hesitate. If they really love and care about you, nothing will change. They’ll still love you regardless of the thing you’re trying to hide.” You explained, surprising even yourself at how wise you sounded. Maybe you should reconsider going into psychology and becoming a therapist like your nine-year-old self wanted.
“I should tell them as soon as possible, then?”
You nodded, “The sooner the better. You’re all done, by the way. You think you’ll be okay to go out the same way you came in?”
Spider-Man sighed, eyeing the window, “I should be fine… But, I want to repay you for patching me up… and the words of advice. Do you mind following me?” You nodded a bit confused, standing up at the same time as the hero.
He opened your window and hopped down the 2 feet to the landing carefully and then offered a hand to help you get down. After you were both safely on the fire escape, you climbed up the stairs to the roof of the apartment building. You went up here often enough, so it wasn’t too hard to reach the top.
“Can you turn around for a second…?” Spider-Man asked you nervously. You did as he said, brain immediately thinking that this was the way you were going to die. You had been a fool to follow a stranger up to the top of the roof, and now he was about to jump you or throw you off the side of the building or-
“Y/n?”
You turned around, eyes meeting the bruised and cut face of your boyfriend, mask held loosely in his hand, face scared and anxious. You were stunned for a few seconds, frozen in place, unable to move or speak or even blink. You must have scared Beomgyu by your lack of response. He wrapped his arms around you, not knowing what else to do.
“I wanted to tell you so badly…” He whispered.
“Is- is this why you’re always gone?” You asked, tears slipping down your cheek.
He nodded furiously, “I’m so sorry, Y/n. You know I would never cheat on you, right? I love you so much- I hate that I left you to overthink all that time.” He sobbed, crying harder than you were now, “I’m so awful, Y/n, I’m sorry-”
“Stop, you’re not.” You assured him, hands bunching up the fabric of his T-shirt, inhaling his scent that you had been deprived of. You hadn’t hugged him like this in ages.
A minute later you sat down on the concrete of the building, Beomgyu being forced to stay still as you tried to inspect every single tiny cut and bruise on his perfect face with the crappy lighting from the dim bulb on the roof..
“Is this really necessary…?” He asked, eyes shut on instinct from how close your face was to his.
“You look worse than when you got bullied in 8th grade, shut it.” You dismissed him, hands still holding his cheeks and turning his face every which way to spot everything. He whined about he was fine and his newly acquired super powers helped him heal from wounds quicker, but you wouldn’t buy it.
He opened his eyes slightly, a stumped expression on his face like a child trying to figure out how to reach candy from a high-up shelf. Eventually, he found a solution.
He leaned forward abruptly, lips crashing onto yours before you could stop it. You tried to protest, but it was impossible to say anything when he was so determined to kiss you. He waited until after you were fully kissing him back to pull away, hoping that it would be enough to spare him from any more face-inspection.
“So, can you really shoot webs from your… web shooter thingies?” You asked, struggling to find the proper words to describe your boyfriend’s inventions.
He nodded with a big grin, “I constructed it all by myself. I went through over 15 trial versions of both web-fluid and shooter before landing on this.” He gushed, showing you the small container filled with white sticky fluid. “It holds the most web-fluid while still maintaining speed, accuracy, and power. Impressive, right?”
You nodded, even more confused than you had been while taking the practice test for science, but determined to keep the smile Beomgyu wore for as long as possible.
“What else can you do?” You questioned, excitement finally kicking in after the shock of finding out, though it was still hard to process that your boyfriend was a superhero.
“So much more-”
You smiled, eyes twinkling as you realised it would take all night to discover everything you needed to know about your boyfriend’s new identity.

haechan squad “chenle sugar babies”
(yeah chenle choose that name the first time and no one changed it since then)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
lee donghyuck (better know as haechan) is the typical rich boy that thinks everyone wants to be him or be with him. he comes from a (VERY!) wealthy family and doesn’t like to receive a “no” as an answer. he may look a bit arrogant at first but deep down every one of his friends knows that he has so much love to give.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
mark and renjun are haechan closest friends. they know each other since they were little kids and there are no secrets between them (and never will!). mark is slightly too much obsessed with spiderman and that’s the main reason why he doesn’t date much - i mean if you go out with a girl why do you talk all day about every single spiderman movie?- but he’s just that guy yk. you can’t do anything but love him. same for renjun, he’s the sweetest soul and kicks haechan’s ass every time he does something wrong (always). he happily engaged with the cute emo boy - choi beomgyu- and since they got together all his world started to spin around him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
jeno, jisung and chenle are the other members of the group. jeno is such a big softie you wish you could squeeze until he wears any kind of tshirt and you get a glimpse of how big his arms are. then you wish to be squeezed between those muscles. jisung is a fake emo boy, he’s the youngest of the group and every time he spoke it seems like he doesn’t have a clue on anything. like?? it’s this is first time on earth ever?? chenle is the sugar daddy. like they go out to dinner? chenle is gonna pay. they wanna play a new videogame? chenle got em. but! on top of everything, he LOVES his face, like so much. (can we blame him).
all the boys love each other so much and they’ve been growing up together, with their wrong and right. they finally managed to get the ticket for the Semester at the Sea and they are finally ready to sail!
masterlist !!

Ngl he does- coming your way!
Tumblr media
Spider-love
SEND IN A REQUEST
pairing: Spider-Man!Beomgyu x reader
genre: smut
warnings: unprotected sex, oral (m,f receiving), 69, fingering, handjob, blowjob, thigh kink, Beomgyu muscles being a huge turn on, grinding.
You watched the live broadcast of your boyfriend fighting in panic, very nervous that he was going to get really badly hurt. Luckily, he got away with a few scratches and his identity still secret. You watched the tv as he swung away, unaware he was coming towards your apartment. You turned the tv off, headed to the kitchen for some water, but you were startled at the sound of your window being knocked on.
Rushing over, you went and opened it, letting him in. “What happened Gyu? Are you hurt? Are you okay? Are you..” you rambled on, not realizing he had taken off his mask and gave you a kiss on the lips. “Can you patch me up? Please?” How could you resist when he asked so sweetly. You led him to the couch, sitting right on his lap and using the first aid kit that you kept under the couch in case of instances like this. He had taken off the suit and was just in some pants he found while you were trying to fish it out. As soon as you saw him without his shirt and just his abs and muscles, you knew you weren’t going to last. “Hey babe, the scratches are up here on my face.” He teased, snickering at your staring.
You looked up at his face, flustered and got out the cotton, band aids, and disinfectant. You got to work on patching him up, at one point you managed to get super close to him chest to chest, crotch to crotch.. but you didn’t notice and just kept on disinfecting his wounds. You kept squirming around to clean the wounds on his neck, awakening his big friend. He put his hands on your hips, stopping your movement. “Jagi.. stop..” he groaned softly, throwing his head back. “Gyu I have to clean- oh.” You stopped what you were saying as you felt it. He just chuckled, pushing you down on his crotch. You gasped, surprised at the action, your hands instinctively going to his shoulders. “Seems like you’re also a bit needy, huh?” He whispered into your ears. “Gyu please!” You begged as he started kissing down your neck.
He picked you up, you wrapped your legs around his waist, your clit rubbing perfectly against his abs through your panties (you were wearing a skirt). He started making out with you on the way to your bedroom, laying you down on your bed when you got inside. “Can I take this off darling?” He asked, tugging your top. You just nodded, breathing deep. “And your skirt?” He asked, not expecting you to say that he could take everything off. He took off your skirt, licking your pussy through the panties, sucking your clit hard. You moaned loudly as he did, tugging his hair. He took your panties off, licking your pussy as if it was a feast. “Mm, wait wait wait-“ he said, pulling away. You whined, trying to pull him back, he just chuckled at that. He turned around, so that his dock was in your face, after he took off his boxers and your bra of course. You immediately took him in your mouth, making him moan loud. The vibrations on your cunt making you moan loudly on his dick. He inserted his fingers in you, scissoring you open and he also moaned at the vibrations of your moaning since his comic was so deep in your throat he felt it tenfold than usual. He moaned right on your clit and not that long after you came on his face, hard.
he also came down your throat hard, you both spasmed really violently. He didn’t even bother moving you, he just moved back to where he was between your knees and started fucking you, not giving you any time to adjust. “Fuck- doing so good- ugh-“ he grunted, fucking you past overstimulation. (Bitch I suck at smut, I’m so sorry 😭 I’ll work on it).
he lied down next to you, panting hard as you hugged at his expression, you both got under the covers and drifted off. (I also wrote this in the worst condition I’m so sorry it’s like 1am here, please dm me if you want me to rewrite it.)

༺ ENHYPEN/OTHER READING RECOMMENDATIONS ༻
ᰔᩚ
#RIKI return of happiness | @tzuyusluv | being sunghoon biased, i was surprised to be swept off my feet. it’s very short but gets straight to the point of an adorable reunion. if you want feel like ur actually in a plane and in a real relationship with riki - this one is it.
#HYUNJIN breathe | @astraystayyh | UM UM UM. it’s been a while since i’ve read a hyunjin fic and IM BACK BABY. holy crap i’ve never felt so aroused. the writing was literally beautiful and so visually stunning. i definitely will be rereading this when i need to read and feel fluffy. please read this is you want to be delusional over hyunjin
#SUNGHOON captain’s log | @peachenle | THIS WAS PERFECTLY DIVINE. bruh just so good on character building and setting and dialogues. I mean, some smart words here and there but it was delectable (pff). recommend recommend for those who want steamy stuff but don’t want straight smut + just great high school story.
#DOKYEOM ☆ first kiss with dokyeom | @etherealyoungk | omg. i honestly haven't read a dk fic (or maybe in general) that has made it hard to stop smiling. so cute and i love the awkwardness/shyness. so well described [dies when you can feel the smile in the kiss]
#BEOMGYU not your average boyfriend | @slytherinshua | holy MOLY. i’ve never been so invested in a spiderman fic. the reveal was so good and the transition to a cute loving inspection of beomgyu was so adorable (i have a cavity, it was so sweet) SO RECOMMEND IF U LUV BENJAMIN AND SPIDER-MAN <3
#DOKYEOM bus tickets and receipts | @xurengu0 | my heart swelled with every sentence. it’s so beautiful and heartwarming that the love lasted. he’s a dork but he’s in love. like almost cried but didn’t - or i wouldn’t have stopped. who ever gets to marry dokyeom and live happily with him, i wish them this much happiness.
#SUNGHOON secret soft boy revealed | @elysianeclipxe | absolutely loved the domestic scenario of build a bear making alongside sunghoon (whom is adorably refusing to tell you he loved the experience) honestly recommend for needed sunghoon hours
#SANGYEON lee sangyeon's (almost) villain origin story | @mingtinys | i really enjoyed it.. being a newly biased sangyeon bias, i really visualized him well. laughed out loud when kevin intruded at a cafe date. if you want to fawn over sangyeon being clingy and also having a dilemma of being a father of his friends - highly recommend!!

beomgyu!spiderman au (part 2)
summary: just a few scenarios of how it would be like having beomgyu!spiderman as ur bf
genre: fluff
characters: beomgyu!spiderman x f!reader
words: 3.5
a/n: i wasn't done
warnings: danger! knives! guns!
part 1!
Your boyfriend was Spider-Man. The Spider-Man. The one who kept your little town safe, who swung through the streets like a silent guardian, leaving behind ripples of hope. The one who, despite the weight of a city on his shoulders, always stopped to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
Just the other day, your grandma couldn’t stop talking about him.
“Oh, what a fine young man,” she said, eyes sparkling as she recounted the story for the third time. “He helped me cross the road and even carried my groceries all the way home!”
You had laughed softly then, a knowing kind of laugh. Because you knew the truth. You knew he wasn’t just helping some random sweet old lady—he had helped her because she was your grandma.
But the thought lingered longer than you expected. There was something deeply personal about knowing that Spider-Man, the hero everyone adored, was yours. That he went out of his way for the people you loved. That even in the midst of saving the world—or at least this small corner of it—he still remembered the little things.
It warmed your heart, but it ached too. How could one person carry so much? The city adored Spider-Man, but they didn’t know him like you did. They didn’t see the bruises he came home with or the weight he carried in the slump of his shoulders when no one was watching. They didn’t hear the way his voice cracked when he confessed how hard it was to keep everyone safe—how much he wished he could do more.
“You’re doing fine,” you murmured against Beomgyu’s neck, your voice low, trying to be supportive.. “You have to stop thinking that you owe the world everything. You don’t, Gyu. You really don’t.” Your arms tightened around him slightly, hoping that this small gesture, this closeness, could carry what words couldn’t.
For a moment, he didn’t respond. His breathing was steady, but you could feel the tension in his shoulders, the way his body held itself too tightly, like a coiled spring. Finally, his voice broke the silence, barely above a whisper.
“I almost got Soobin hurt the other day.”
You froze, pulling back just enough to look at him. “What?”
He wasn’t meeting your eyes. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the wall behind you, as though staring into some memory he couldn’t shake. “Someone was following me. I–I didn’t even know. I don’t know how I didn’t know, but I didn’t—”
“Don’t you have those tingles? Like, when something bad’s about to happen?” Your voice rose slightly, more out of disbelief than anger. “What’s it called again?”
“Spidey senses,” he said quietly, almost like he was embarrassed to admit it.
“Right.”
He nodded, exhaling shakily. “Which is why this freaked me out so much. They followed me. Back to school.”
You felt your stomach drop. “Our school?”
He sighed, his hand coming up to drag down his face. “It was the day of the test. I guess my anxiety just… I wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t even realize they’d been trailing me until it was too late. And then…” His voice cracked, and for a moment, you thought he might stop altogether.
“And then what, Gyu?” you pressed, your own heart racing now.
“Soobin,” he said, his voice trembling. “He was there. He was just…waving down to me, you know? Trying to make sure no one else saw me. But they did see him. They saw him.”
Your breath hitched as you imagined the scene. Soobin, his usual warm and carefree self, unknowingly stepping into danger just by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“God, Gyu…” You reached for his hand, squeezing it tightly. He finally looked at you then, his dark eyes full of guilt, fear, and something raw you couldn’t quite name.
“I can’t let that happen again,” he said firmly, though his voice wavered. “I can’t let someone I care about get hurt because of me. Because of this.”
You shook your head, your grip on his hand tightening. “No one got hurt. Soobin’s fine. You’re fine. But, Gyu, you can’t keep carrying this on your own. You don’t have to. Please…”
He didn’t respond, but the way his hand clung to yours told you everything. For now, it would have to be enough. But in the back of your mind, you knew this wasn’t over—not for him, not for either of you.
Beomgyu, the neighborhood’s ever-friendly superhero, had always been the happy-go-lucky guy at school—the one who cracked jokes even during exams and smiled at everyone in the halls. But lately, everything felt heavier. The shadows felt closer, and the weight of his secret life seemed to press down on him more than ever. No one really noticed the change, not at school, not in the streets where he swung between buildings. But he felt it.
Lost in thought, replaying every close call, every mistake, Beomgyu didn’t even notice the bird heading straight for him until—
“AUUUGH!”
The collision sent him tumbling through the air, momentum completely lost. He flailed helplessly before crashing down five levels and landing, with an undignified thud, in a dumpster.
“Dang,” he groaned, clutching his ribs as he tried to sit up. The stench was an assault on his senses, but at least the garbage had cushioned his fall. Small blessings, right?
He barely had a second to regain his bearings before he froze, realizing he wasn’t alone. Two figures loomed over him, their faces obscured by ski masks. Guns peeked out from behind their backs.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” one of them muttered, staring down at the very superhero who had been tailing them for weeks.
Beomgyu blinked up at them, then sighed. “What a night,” he muttered before pulling on a smirk under his mask. “Well, well, well. What do we have here? Are we heading to some kind of costume party, fellas? I wasn’t invited—kind of hurtful, honestly.”
The guy on the left swore under his breath, visibly rattled as he yanked a gun from behind his back and aimed it at Beomgyu.
“Ooh, wrong move there, buddy.” Beomgyu didn’t even flinch. A second later, a sharp thwip echoed through the alley as his web shooter activated, yanking the gun from the man’s grip and sending it clattering to the ground. In a single, fluid motion, Beomgyu swung up and ensnared the guy in a sticky cocoon of webbing.
“C’mon,” he teased, landing lightly on the ground. “We could’ve gone to the party together. I’ve got a killer mask, and I hear ski masks are making a comeback.”
“He’s fucking with us,” the second guy growled, pulling his gun and advancing.
Beomgyu tilted his head. “I mean, yeah. What’s the point of doing this gig if I can’t have a little fun?”
The second guy lunged, but Beomgyu was faster. Another flick of his wrist sent a web shooting out, pinning the man’s arm to the nearest wall. He struggled, growling like a trapped animal, but it was no use.
“Pro tip,” Beomgyu said, perching casually on a nearby railing. “If you’re going to pull off some shady back-alley operation, maybe avoid the guy who just fell out of the sky. Statistically, probably not your night.”
Both men glared daggers at him, though their predicament made it more comical than intimidating.
“Anyway,” Beomgyu continued, hopping down and dusting himself off, “I’d love to stay and chat, but I have homework to procrastinate on, so…” He shot another web, this time connecting the two robbers together like a makeshift package. “Consider this a group bonding exercise. Teamwork makes the dream work, right?”
As the distant sound of police sirens began to echo through the alley, Beomgyu gave them a mock salute before swinging away, muttering to himself.
“God, I need to start watching out for birds.”
Your head rested heavily on the table in your room, the soft glow of your desk lamp doing little to soothe the mounting frustration. The math homework in front of you blurred together into incomprehensible scribbles. You groaned aloud. Where was your genius boyfriend when you needed him? He’d promised to help with at least half of these impossible questions.
A sharp knock on your apartment window jolted you upright, a scream escaping your lips. It wasn’t a small sound either—it was the full-on, “I’m being murdered” kind of scream. To be fair, you lived on the 14th floor, and unexpected visitors weren’t exactly common.
When you turned, your heart still racing, there he was. Red and blue spandex clinging to him like a second skin, mask slightly crooked, and an unapologetic grin plastered beneath it. You sighed, pressing a hand to your chest.
“Geez, Gyu,” you said, walking over to unlock the window. “You need to start giving me some warning. I could’ve died from a heart attack.”
He slipped inside with practiced ease, his suit slightly scuffed but still intact. “Sorry,” he chuckled, stretching his arms above his head. “I’ll work on my window etiquette.”
As he adjusted his gloves, you couldn’t help but smirk. “Y’know…” you began, leaning against your desk and giving him an exaggerated once-over, “I kinda get why girls like this whole superhero thing.”
“Oh?” he teased, pulling off one glove and flexing his fingers. “And why’s that?”
“Well, you can kinda see everything,” you said with a wicked grin, poking at the firm outline of his abs. “Like, literally everything.”
Beomgyu groaned, swatting your hand away. “Great. I gotta talk to Mr. Kang about some suit upgrades. Hopefully, that includes censorship.”
“Even from me?” you teased.
“Especially from you,” he quipped before leaning in to press a soft kiss to your lips. His lips lingered for a moment longer than usual, his way of apologizing for being late.
“Sorry,” he said softly, pulling back just enough to meet your eyes. “I kinda swung into a bird, fell into a dumpster, and got two guys arrested. You know, just another Tuesday.”
“What?” you asked, wide-eyed and incredulous. “You swung into a bird?”
“It’s a long story,” he laughed, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. “Anyway, which page are you on?”
“Uh…” you trailed off, a bit sheepishly. “Still the second page.”
Beomgyu raised an eyebrow. “Second? You’ve been at this for hours.”
You shrugged, your cheeks warming. “Math isn’t exactly my strong suit. It’s yours.”
“Alright, alright.” He grinned, pulling out the chair beside you and plopping down with an exaggerated groan. “Let’s see what we’re working with.”
As he adjusted himself to get comfortable, Beomgyu tugged at his mask, lifting it ever so slowly. Your eyes were glued to him, watching as the fabric revealed his face inch by inch. His messy, shaggy hair flopped into his eyes, the slight sheen of sweat only making him look more effortlessly perfect.
You hated to admit it, but every time Beomgyu pulled off that mask, something inside you… shifted. Maybe it was the way his sharp features softened when he smiled at you. Or the way his hair always seemed to look even better messy. Whatever it was, it made your heart do cartwheels.
He caught you staring, of course, his lips quirking into a knowing smile. “What?” he asked, leaning in closer.
“Nothing,” you lied, quickly turning back to your textbook. “Just… hurry up and help me before I fail this assignment.”
“Sure, sure.” Beomgyu chuckled, resting his chin on his hand as he looked at you. “But you’re staring at me like I’m the homework you’re trying to solve.”
You flushed, shoving him lightly. “Shut up and teach me algebra, Spider-Boy.”
It had barely been ten minutes since school started, but the routine was already in full swing. You and Soobin had a well-rehearsed system for dealing with Beomgyu's inevitable late arrivals, thanks to his extracurricular Spider-Man responsibilities.
You called yourselves Team Spider-Man. It wasn’t a title you chose willingly, but you had to admit it had a nice ring to it. Unfortunately, being the newest member came with its fair share of grievances—like finding out Soobin had been in on the secret way before you.
“So, let me get this straight. This idiot knew before me?” you had demanded, months ago, glaring at both of them like they were the absolute bane of your existence.
“Well, I was at home waiting for him, and… my aunt let him in,” Beomgyu had explained with a wince. “I climbed on the ceiling, and he saw me. What was I supposed to do, pretend I wasn’t there?”
Needless to say, you weren’t over it.
Now, as you sat in class with Soobin, the two of you brainstorming yet another excuse for Beomgyu’s tardiness, the absurdity of the situation almost made you laugh. Almost.
“So,” Soobin began, tapping his pencil against his desk, “diarrhoea excuse? We haven’t used that one in a while.”
You shot him a look. “Seriously? He’s my boyfriend now, Soobin. My reputation is kind of on the line here too, you know.”
“Oh, please,” Soobin snorted. “As if anything could tarnish his already perfect reputation.”
You hated to admit it, but he had a point. Beomgyu wasn’t just well-liked—he was practically a school legend. Teachers adored him. Students gravitated toward him. Even the custodian always waved at him with a fond smile. It was infuriating. (You just didn’t want to admit that you had to share him with well, everyone else.)
Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed movement outside the classroom window. There he was, crouched behind a tree in his unmistakable red and blue suit, though the white gym shirt thrown on top of it was… new.
Your phone buzzed.
Beomgyu: Friday, send message. You: What? Beomgyu: Don’t send message. Send message. Beomgyu: DAMN IT FRIDAY. Beomgyu: I mean send message—I forgot pants. I have no pants. Send message.
You stared at the screen, barely holding back a laugh.
You: You don’t have an extra pair of pants?
Soobin: Well, this does tie in nicely with the diarrhoea excuse.
You snorted. “You’re unbelievable.”
Beomgyu: Wait, wait, wait! Are you saying the teachers think I’ve had diarrhoea this whole time? Is that why Mrs. Lee asked if I was okay two nights ago at the store?
Soobin: That’s why Mrs. Lee probably bought you a whole bottle of Pedialyte. You: Just stay put. I’ll grab you some pants. Beomgyu: You’re the best. Also, don’t let Soobin talk to the teachers anymore.
You sighed, glancing at Soobin, who was now snickering into his notebook. Sometimes, being part of Team Spider-Man felt more like babysitting a group of overgrown toddlers.
The three of you were crammed into the corner booth of the diner you occasionally visited, the one with sticky menus and the best milkshakes in town. The warm hum of conversation and clatter of dishes filled the air, but none of it distracted you from Soobin’s next words.
“Hey,” Soobin started, far too casually, as he leaned back in his seat. “Isn’t that the guy you said was cute?” He gestured—not subtly—toward the waiter, the one you had offhandedly mentioned finding attractive months ago, long before Beomgyu was even a consideration in your love life.
Your heart dropped. “What?” You shot Soobin a warning look, kicking him lightly under the table. “No. Absolutely not.”
“No, you definitely did!” Soobin grinned, ignoring the daggers you were shooting at him. “I remember it clearly because he was carrying that JJK keychain on his–”
“Choi Soobin.” Your voice was low, a deadly whisper, as you glared at him, teeth gritted.
Beomgyu, who had been happily sipping his milkshake until that very moment, set it down with deliberate slowness. His lips twitched, the kind of expression that meant trouble. He leaned back in his seat, arms crossed, poking his tongue against the inside of his cheek. “So…” he drawled, voice teasing but edged with curiosity. “The waiter, huh?”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “This was before we started dating!” You said defensively, looking up at Beomgyu with wide eyes. “Way before. Ancient history. Irrelevant.”
Beomgyu tilted his head, his expression unreadable. “And where was I during all this?”
“How would I know?!” You threw your hands up.
Soobin, who was clearly having the time of his life, leaned in conspiratorially, voice just low enough to sound like he was helping. “It was the day you were over at Mr. Kang’s office.”
Beomgyu’s brows shot up in mock realization, and you immediately regretted ever confiding in Soobin about anything.
“Mr. Kang’s office, huh?” Beomgyu repeated, turning his gaze back to you. “So while I was working on tech to save the city, you were out here scouting waiters?”
“Oh my god.” You buried your face in your hands again, your cheeks burning. “It wasn’t like that!”
Beomgyu smirked, reaching over to flick a fry at Soobin, who was now laughing so hard he nearly fell out of the booth. “Remind me to block this guy’s number,” Beomgyu teased.
“You’re insufferable,” you mumbled, hiding your face behind the menu.
“Hey, if it makes you feel better,” Beomgyu said, leaning closer, his voice dropping low just for you, “I’m cuter.”
You peeked out from behind the menu, your lips twitching despite your best efforts to stay annoyed. “Debatable.”
Beomgyu was excited. It had been days—no, weeks—since he’d had time alone with you. Between school and his Spider-Man duties, quality time with you had become rare. Especially since Soobin was usually a third wheel, even on your study dates.
He swung through the city, doing a final sweep before heading to your house. “Well, isn’t Seoul just so safe today, all thanks to me,” he muttered to himself, breaking into a little moonwalk mid-swing.
But he spoke too soon.
A chilling scream echoed in his ears.
A scream too close to home.
A scream from near your apartment.
“BEOM–GYUAAA!”
His blood ran cold.
Without wasting another second, he swung towards the sound, heart pounding in his chest. As he neared, the scene came into view—you, clutching your bag, screaming as you struggled against a thief.
His heart dropped.
He never expected to see you in harm’s way. A wave of guilt and terror swept over him, gnawing at his insides. He felt terrible.
Beomgyu's heart raced as he swung toward the sound of your voice. The scream—your scream—kept echoing in his head, shaking him to his core. He'd handled countless situations like this before, but this was different. This was you.
The thief yanked at your bag, his grip tightening as you refused to let go. Beomgyu could see the fear in your eyes, even from a distance, and his blood boiled. But fear wasn’t an option now. He had to act quickly—and smartly.
Clinging to the side of the building just above the alleyway, Beomgyu scanned the situation. The thief was armed, a glinting knife in his free hand. Too close for comfort. One wrong move and—no, don’t think about that, he told himself.
“Hey, buddy,” Beomgyu called out, voice steady but sharp, “how about you pick on someone your own size?”
The thief froze, glancing around wildly until he spotted Beomgyu perched above him. “What the–”
Before the thief could finish, Beomgyu leapt down, landing behind him. His sudden appearance startled the man enough to loosen his grip on your bag. You took the chance to stumble back, clutching it tightly to your chest.
“Stay back,” Beomgyu said, his voice low and commanding as he positioned himself between you and the thief. “Unless you wanna find out how this web feels up your ass.”
The thief lunged with the knife, but Beomgyu was faster. With a flick of his wrist, a web shot out, sticking the knife to the wall. The thief panicked, trying to run, but Beomgyu had already shot another web, trapping him against a lamppost.
“Okay, now you just hang tight, buddy” Beomgyu said, brushing his hands off dramatically. “Police will be here any minute. And by the way, knives? Seriously?”
With the danger neutralized, Beomgyu turned to you, his voice laced with worry, even through the mask. “Are you okay? Did he hurt you?”
You shook your head, though your hands trembled, and tears pooled in your eyes as the adrenaline coursing through your body began to subside. “I-I’m fine,” you stammered, voice barely above a whisper.
Beomgyu hesitated for a moment, his shoulders visibly relaxing now that he knew you were unharmed. He stepped closer, his gloved hands coming to rest gently on your shoulders. “You’re safe now,” he said softly, his usual playful tone replaced by something tender. He leaned in slightly, his forehead almost brushing yours.
You sniffled, a faint smile breaking through the tears as you raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure…you’re gonna kiss me in public, Mr. Spider-Man?”
Beomgyu froze, his masked face tilting in realization. “Oh. Right.” He quickly straightened up, clearing his throat. “You’re safe, citizen! You may now go home!” he announced dramatically, his hands moving to his hips in mock superhero fashion.
“Thank you, Mr. Spider-Man,” you replied, unable to hold back your laughter, though your voice still wavered with lingering emotion.
Beomgyu winked—or at least you thought he did—before muttering under his breath as he turned to leave, “You're not gonna let this go, aren't you?
You shook your head.

Tumblr media
CHOI YEONJUN
💽 ( SONG_REC. ) “POPULAR” — THE WEEKND
a schoolboy who just wants to be amongst the class. a teenage boy outgrowing his youth, and beginning to realize he's pushed everyone in his circle away, and panicking because maybe it's too late to mend relationships. the boy who's watching everyone grow with him, yet not with him. a boy watching his distanced friends link arms as they jog towards the canteen, watching the girls sit together as they absorb each other's quiet in the library, watching the group of friends sneak out of class and sit by the benches. a boy realizing he's not like everyone else; pictures of friends taking trips together on social media, envying the respective bonds of friends underneath a girl's post— her girlfriends commenting “you look amazing!!” “god, marriage when!?”, and then boys who'd tease her with throwing up emojis.
yeonjun is written by a boy who watches people partake in street fashion, groups of friends catching the train after school and falling asleep on each other's shoulders. yeonjun is the result of a boy who's learning to refuse isolation, a boy who's accepting his flaws and embracing them, a boy who's working on himself. a boy slowly realizing what beauty he can hold in himself, a boy realizing he's alone— but refuses to stay that way.
Tumblr media
CHOI SOOBIN
💽 ( SONG_REC. ) “SNOW ON THE BEACH” — TAYLOR SWIFT
a woman who's watched her lover change into a cold person. a woman who's craving the warmth of an old lover, the comfort of a relationship that was too good to be true. a woman whose emotions get the better of her, a woman who misses the twinkle in the eyes of their lover. a woman who realizes that her love isn't being reciprocated the same way anymore, who watches her lover's skin turn colder by the second. a woman watching her lover be consumed by the winter of the universe, to be changed completely and transformed. and she can't do anything but cry— watch them and cry and hold their cheeks and beg for them to come back.
soobin's eyes reflect what love was lost after being savored for a while, soobin's smile thaws hearts of those like his author. soobin is not picture perfect; but he cups teary wet cheeks and empathizes like no other.
Tumblr media
CHOI BEOMGYU
💽 ( SONG_REC.) “CALLING” — METRO BOOMIN
a peter parker who's just gotten bitten by his spider. beomgyu is everything that peter's expectations for himself are. peter, who wants to bury the factor of his own fear, who wants to be the hero everyone feels reassured to see. peter wants for his first instinct to not be panic, confusion, or to start making a far-fetched calculation that doesn't help him in the task at hand. peter wants to shrug at the face of danger— to not be afraid for his own leap of faith. peter wants to be carefree, a cheerful soul who doesn't have time to worry because of how fast he moves.
but as time moves on, maturity is what peter sought, not a pretty face with a cocky smile. and peter gives beomgyu depth as he grows himself, a sense of responsibility sharpening the features of a new spiderman, learning the ability to accept his own fear instead of just pushing it below. peter writes beomgyu to be brave; not fearless. someone who's humbled at his wins, who grows stronger at his loss.
but peter unknowingly soon manages to parallel the expectations he never thought he'd meet— and instead of building beomgyu to be someone he'd wish he were, he grew him to be just like him. to know when to laugh and to accept his own emotions when necessary, beomgyu turned out to be a carefree soul who believes in justice and his right to his own story.
Tumblr media
KANG TAEHYUN
💽 ( SONG_REC. ) “THANK U, NEXT” — ARIANA GRANDE
a young lady who was nit-picked by the beauty standards of a black and white society. a young lady who never understood where her greys would fit. a woman who is growing to shun away a mold she is aware she would never fit. taehyun's unique beauty is a result of a mind curious to sculpt their own standard. a stubborn soul, who embraces their differences, who moves on from the fact that they are not like the others, and recognizes that it's what catches everyone else's attention.
taehyun's emotions are quick to reach his features, moulding themselves to reflect what his heart feels. his eyes turning softer, the corners of his lips growing into a smile, the tension in his forehead dissolving as he grows fonder; taehyun was written to be observed by those who were just like his author. those who recognized their own place in a community, or the lack of said position, and always embraced it. taehyun was the result of self indulgent art that stood as a symbol for those who appeared to not fit a “beauty standard” — whatever beauty standard meant, anyway. subjectivity was never meant to be moulded into a standard, and taehyun stood to be a reflection of that.
Tumblr media
HUENINGKAI
💽 ( SONG_REC. ) “A MARRIED LIFE” FROM UP
two 5 year olds who met at preschool and now have distance in their friendship due to one of them moving out of town. a pair of children who sneakily panic when they realize they scribbled on the wall with crayon. children who struggle to throw snowballs at each other because of how cold snow feels. two kids who stare out the window and guess the cost of cars passing by based on how expensive they look. two kids who announce that they'd like to get married as a way to show their tight knit bond.
two kids who always left the corners of their sandwiches, and argued if the head or the butt of the dinosaur nugget should be eaten first. two kids, who'd cry if the other cries. two kids who are now too far apart from each other; overwhelming sadness only emerging from a tiny body in the form of incomprehensible tears.
two kids who begin writing to each other in colorful crayons, whose journey of writing to each other never reaches its end. two children who exceeded the height marks on their walls, who grew up to be able to fit more words in their letters. hueningkai is the spark of their relationship, the cursive and the colorful. an innocence which never grew into maturity when it came to each other, a pair of kids who were too old to sit on the porch and swing their legs, or watch clouds.
hueningkai is the tears prickling in their eyes when they run to each other after years, an embrace that sends heart palpitations towards toes. hueningkai is the innocence they never grew out of, a pair of former children crying in each other's arms, an overload of sensory, a platonic kiss to each other's forehead. a soulmate bond, and an unspoken understanding.

INTERTWINED Headcanons (Spidermen!ENHA)
HYUNG LINE'S IN DEPTH BACKGROUND:
"All right, let's do this one more time."
Tumblr media
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hyung line's personal background story! TBH, it's literally a summary of the Spider-Man movies. Heeseung's summary is based on Tom Holland's Spider-Man... etc. So if you've watched any of the Spider-Man movies then you get the gist of it! I added some twists though! I also didn't intend for Sunghoon's part to be that long but here we are LOL. This was actually because Gwen's background in spider verse was short so I wanted to fill in the gaps as I pleased!
NOT PROOF READ: Apologies for any grammatical errors, my loves!
HEESEUNG:
In Heeseung's universe, he was approached by Kim Namjoon (Tony Stark) and recruited into the Avengers temporarily.
He went through literal hell and back. He blipped the five years in his universe.
After the death of Mr. Kim, he did everything he could to be the friendly neighborhood spider-man.
Then the whole Mysterio scandal happened and his identity was revealed.
Nothing seemed to work out for him though. He lost his older brother, Seokmin, trying to save his universe from clashing with other universes.
That's how he met Jay. Heeseung's best friend Jeongin accidentally summoned the wrong spider-man from a different universe.
Yunjin, their other best friend (and Jeongin's girlfriend), had to take away the sling ring from him.
Heeseung's one-sided feelings for her didn't go unnoticed by Jeongin but Heeseung was nothing but supportive for his best friends.
Innie was so grateful to have a best friend like Seung.
Which is why Yunjin and Jeongin were devastated when Heeseung told him what he had to do in order to save the universe.
He had to make everyone forget about him.
After a few months, he finds Jay inside of his apartment. And Hee wonders how Jay managed to get back into his universe.
After a turn of events, he meets Jake and Hoon, along with a few others. Eventually the four of them end up in Y/N's universe.
JAY:
In Jay's universe, he lost his older sister Jihyo. She went out searching for him after they had a fight. She was stabbed in a robbery gone wrong.
He was is such a dark place after that. He went out every night trying to find his sisters killer.
His best friends, Sunghoon (Harry Osborn) and Jake [Gwen Stacy (platonic)], were so worried about him.
Eventually when he started to get more involved in crime fighting.
During the whole Dr. Connors trying to turn all of New York City into lizards, Jake catches Jay in his Spider suit without his mask.
With the help of Jake they saved New York City (because Jake was an intern at Oscorp).
At the end of graduation, they find out that Sunghoon is sick. Hoon asks Jay to get in contact with Spider-Man because he needs his blood. It doesn't work out though.
Sunghoon finds, what he believes to be, another way (a serum) to live but that also doesn't work out.
And Sunghoon becomes Green goblin.
Jay and Jake try to save Hoon, that's when Hoon figures out that Jay is Spider-Man.
They fight, and Jake gets in between them but he falls off the clock tower doing so.
Before Jay can save Jake it's too late.
Hoon's serum didn't work either, rather it intesified his illness and he eventually succumbed to his sickness.
Jay lost both of his best friends.
A few years later, when he's making his rounds of the city, a bright orange spark just randomly appears in front of him.
Then it moves in a circular motions and become bigger and then next thing he knows its a portal.
That's how he meets Heesung.
JAKE:
Jake is really smart. He earned a spot at Brooklyn Visions Program at NYU. His parents were so proud.
Was really close to his older cousin Felix.
Was bitten by a radioactive spider when he and Lix were messing around in the abandoned subways lines.
Was learning how to to get his powers under control.
Met Sunghoon for the first time in his literature class.
Sunghoon had a leaf in his hair and when Jake went to get it out, his hand was stuck to Hoon's hair...
Like his hand would NOT unstick and it resulted is hoon getting an impromptu undercut at the nurse's office.
Started off on the wrong foot.
Then Jake met Spider-Man!Christopher Bang from a different universe???!!!
Chris finds out that Jake is just like him (spidey-tingle and all) and then offers to teach him how to use his powers.
They also try to figure out what Chris is doing in Jake's universe.
In turn, they find out Hoon also has spider powers and is from another universe.
Upon learning how the merging of different universes started, Jake also finds out, the hard way, that Felix is involved.
Felix is the Prowler, working for King Pin. Just when Lix is about to off Spider-Man!Jake, Jake takes off his mask.
Lix pauses and panics and lets go of Jake and then next thing Jake knows, he hears a bang and Lix is falling into his arms.
Lix doesn't make it :(, Jake's cop dad spot them and Jake has to move quickly.
He goes back to his dorms, Chris and Hoon and are waiting for him with their other spider hero friends and they tell Jake that he shouldn't come and fight with them. But Jake is supposed to be the one that shuts down all the portals so that no one gets left behind and dies from not being back in their own universe.
Jake get webbed down to his chair, not able to move.
While he's struggling to escape, his dad comes to deliver the news about Lix. Cue the emotional and motivational speech from dad.
Jake gets free, powers are under control and he's off to save his spider friends!
Long story short (not really), he wins! Friends? Back home! Portals? Shut down! King Pin? Defeated!
Then a couple months pass of him being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man when randomly, when he's in bed, he hears Sunghoon's voice calling out for him?
SUNGHOON:
In Sunghoon's universe, his dad is the chief of police.
Sunghoon was a well known figure skater!
Hoon just really wanted to make his dad proud.
Then he was bitten by a radioactive spider.
Thus becoming Spider-Hoon!
As chief of police, his dad DID NOT approve of Spider-Hoon!
This made Hoon feel guilty for his double life, so he kept it a secret so as long as he could.
Sunghoon was best friends with Lee Heeseung but because Hoon started to pick up Ice skating they drifted apart for a little bit.
Only talking and hanging out every now and then.
Heeseung would get picked on a lot by his school mates.
Hoon tried his best but Hee asked him not to get involved with his life anymore. This really upset Hoon.
The bullying gets bad and Heeseung snaps. He steals the serum that he and Dr. Connor's were working on at Oscrop and injects himself.
Everyone at school sees him (hee) as worthless and all his life he's just wanted to be seen as something more. Something special. Like Spider-Man.
Hoon was interning at Oscorp and on the day Hee injects himself with the serum.
Then there's crashing and people screaming and running.
Hoon springs into action and bumps in a 9 foot lizard. He doesn't know it's Heeseung.
Hoon gets hurt and Hee retreats. Hoon dips as soon as he hears sirens and his dad's voice.
Heeseung comes up with a plan get revenge on the classmates that have done nothing but torment him. He also planned to turn all of New York City into lizards just like him.
Meanwhile at home, Hoon's dad tells him that Heeseung's aunt contacted him. He tells Hoon that Heeseung and Dr. Connors have been missing since the lizard appeared at Oscorp.
Hoons panics. He remembers talking to Heeseung about the serum that they were working on. How it was supposed genetically repair the human body... like a lizard.
Hoon also remembers that Dr. Connors lost his arm in a car accident.
Hoon suspects that Connors injected himself with the serum to some how regrow his lost arm. He also wonders if Heeseung figured out what Connors was up to and as a result was taken by him.
Did Connors need Heeseung alive? If so, what for?
Too many questions race through Hoon's mind and he's off into New York's sewage system.
He stumbles upon the lizard's lair. He starts to dig around when he hears a groan. He runs and prays its Heeseung but he's shocked when he sees Dr. Connors, severely injured.
Connor's tells Hoon that he was kidnapped by the lizard to make adjustments to the serum and build a diffuser.
Hoon asks about Heeseung but all Dr. Connor's can mumble is "He's gone" to Hoon.
Before Hoon could press any further there's a crash in the lair and he see the lizard.
They fight and the lizard gets the upper hand. It takes the serum and diffuser. Poor Sunghoon is so stresses about saving his beat friend and the city.
Hoon asks Dr. Connor's where the lizard is headed.
That night Heeseung planned to use the diffuser as Oscorp. He thought it would be perfect because Oscorp was host a fundraising Gala to restore and repair damages the building had suffered.
Elite families and honorable guests would be there... includig his tormentors.
Hoon's dad, as chief of police, was an honorable guest and present at the Gala. Hoon was expected to be there as well and he shows up in his suit as a cover.
He's on edge and when his dad asks him what was going on with him their conversation is cut short by screaming and running.
Hoon's dad springs into action and tells Hoon to get out of there. When his dad is out of sight, Hoon changes into his spider suit.
Hoon is searching for the lizard and sees his dad fighting off, then his dad is knocked out by it. Hoon rushed his dad away from the fight then goes back to find the lizard.
Cue more fighting. Hoon manages to get the upper hand this time and web shoots the lizard. It loses it's balance and falls and with it the ceiling and roof falls too.
The lizard is crushed and Hoon watches in horror as the lizard transforms into human. It's Heeseung.
Hoon sprints and is on his knees crying.
"What did you do, Hee?" he's sobbing.
Heeseung tells Spider-Man, "I just wanted to be special like you".
Sunghoon tells Heeseung that it's him, that he's spider-man.
And Hee tells Hoon that he'll be okay. The Heeseung's eyes close and he stops breathing.
And Hoon lets out a heart wrenching sob.
At this point, Hoon's dad is awake again and worried about him so he goes to look for Hoon.
When he enters, he sees spider-man's back and face mask off but he can't quite see Hoon's face.
he tells Hoon to freeze but Hoon quickly grabs hi mask and makes a run for it.
His dad chases after him telling him to stop but then freezes when he sees Heeseung laying in a pile of debris.
Hoon and his dad are mourning. HIs dad blames spider-man for Heeseung's death and swears to get justice for Heeseung.
Hoon is just broken at this point. He feels so helpless and alone.
He doesn't really do the "friend" thing.
Jump to a year later and he's in a different universe.
And he meets Jake.

Genre: fluff, Spider-Man au, non idol au, coffee shop au
Spider-Man series!
Lua’s note: hello everyone! Welcome to a new episode of my Spider-Man series! For now I’m only doing txt, but eventually I’ll do enhypen too!
Warnings: mentions of fights, slight injuries, weapons, might contain grammar mistakes. English is not my first language.
The Night Shift was never your favorite. You were working on Nap of a Star Café, you needed money to pay for your tutoring sessions. While you were working you used your free time to study, you needed to pass your final exams.
It was 9 p.m. and the coffee shop was empty. Since no one was there you decided to open your books and study for a while. A few minutes passed and you heard someone enter the shop. It was Soobin, your friend from chemistry class.
“Hey yn, are you almost done for today?.” He walked towards the counter.
“Hey Soob, yeah I’m almost done, we close at ten. I’m just studying right now, and waiting for any customers.”
Soobin nodded. “You’re studying for chemistry?” He said as he glanced at your opened books.
“Yeah, I need to study for my tutoring session tomorrow, I’m having a review exam tomorrow before the actual exam.”
“I can help you study! I’m good at chemistry, or at least that’s what they’ve told me.” He chuckled.
“Really? I’d be very grateful for that Soobin, I really need help with this.”
“It’s no problem.”
“Oh I’m sorry, did you want to order anything?” You forgot you were the barista of the coffee shop.
Soobin chuckled. “Umm a regular coffee would be okay, please.” You nodded and started preparing his coffee.
“Here.” You handed it to him.
“How much is it?” He said reaching for his wallet.
“It’s on the house, don’t worry.” You smiled to him and he looked at you surprised but he eventually smiled.
“Thank you.”
Soobin felt somewhat mesmerized by you. Everyone, except you apparently, knew that Soobin had a really big crush on you. Everyone noticed how we looked at you and how he followed you around most of the time. You just thought he was being friendly and that it was probably something normal.
Suddenly, Soobin started feeling something, as if something bad was going to happen. It was his spider senses. Usually he could tell that something bad was going to happen with his senses and reflexes, it was very useful for him to prevent accidents and other things.
He looked outside the window and saw a group of men getting out of a Van, they were wearing masks and they looked like they were looking towards the shop. Soobin had to do something. He needed to put on his suit. He didn’t want to leave you there alone, but he couldn’t risk to be seen by someone.
“Um Yn, I have to go now, I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?” He said rapidly and left without hearing your goodbye.
This made you confused but you didn’t paid any mind. “Maybe he remembered he was busy..”
Suddenly there was a loud noise. A group of four men entered the front door. They were wearing masks and had weapons in hand. You froze in your place. “What now?”
“Stay there, honey. We’re not gonna hurt you we just need you to give us all the money.” One the men said as he got closer to you.
You stood still, you were to shocked to do anything. You felt like your feet were stuck to the ground.
“Better be quick, you don’t want one of these hurting you, right?” He signaled the weapon which made you even more scared.
“I don’t think that would be necessary.” Another voice talked in the store. It sounded familiar but you were tu busy being scared to think about who it could be.
One of the men let out a bitter chuckle. “Who even are you?”
“Man, I thought it was obvious. I’m Spider-Man! But there’s no time for introducing each other.” You felt a wave of relief when you saw him. He shoot a web towards the guy’s gun making him drop it.
Spider-Man started fighting with the men and you hid behind the counter and called the police.
The fight kept going for at least 10 minutes until the police arrived and arrested the men.
Spider-Man stood there talking to the police answering some questions until you walked outside of the café.
“Are you okay?” He walked towards you. You couldn’t see his face, because of his mask, but he looked like he was worried.
“I’m alright, they didn’t do anything to me.” You shrugged.
“That’s a relief. Are you going home now?” He asked.
“Yeah. I already closed the café.” You were still a little scared about the whole situation that happened just a few minutes ago.
“You shouldn’t go back alone. I’ll walk you.” He offered and you agreed.
“Alright then.”
The two of you walked in silence. Your apartment wasn’t very far from your workplace so it wasn’t a long walk.
“You know, you should probably start faking your voice. You don’t want anyone knowing you’re Soobin, right?” You said as you walked. He stayed still for a second.
“What?! No, no! I’m not Soobin! Who’s Soobin? I don’t know a Soobin!” He started rambling and making up excuses, which made you chuckle.
“It’s alright Soob, I won’t tell anyone if that’s what you’re worried about.”
He sighed and nodded. “How did you figure it out?”
“Your voice. I knew it sounded familiar.” You shrugged and he nodded.
“Well maybe i should fake my voice or something.” He sighed.
“Yeah, you should.”
“You know, I was planning on telling you… but I guess I just didn’t know how. I thought that maybe you would make fun of me…”
“Why would I? You’re literally Spider-Man! That’s so cool.” You said enthusiastically trying to cheer him up.
“You think so?” You nodded and he smiled to himself. “I’m glad you think it’s cool.”
You arrived at your apartment after a few minutes.
“Hey, uh do you want to stay for a bit?” You asked him nervously. You were scared he would found it weird and say no.
“Oh, I’d love too, but isn’t it a little late?” He was right, it was almost 11:30 p.m.
“I…uh, I was saying, you know…umm” You needed to find something to say. “Your arm! I saw one of those guys hit you there, it probably hurts. Let me help you!” You quickly said. You didn’t know why you wanted him to stay, it felt like you didn’t want him to leave.
“Well, it does hurt a little.” He said. Then he agreed and you both entered your apartment. You sat on the sofa and held an ice pack to his arm while he told you stories and things that had happen in his superhero activities.
You forgot about time and everything around you. You didn’t want him to stop talking. You could hear him all day long, and see his pretty smile with dimples on his cheeks. Maybe your heart started to flutter for him that night.
“Thank you for saving me today, Soobin.” You smiled at him.
“It’s no problem. I’ll stay by your side.”
