BTW this is probably the first isekai that I saw a mimic in.

That’s a little bit creepy that she loves seeing her female companion hurt and sees healing as a possessive act that makes her entitled to “own” a person in a romantic / sexual sense, but it’s also strangely... endearing? I can’t explain it. It’s disturbing, but also kinda super gay.

I feel like Ninia would be jealous if Flanlil let someone else heal her.

He can even make a backpack for a fairy that knows the value of her own services. (They try to sell it as greed, but this is just a normal, down to earth approach to any service, she even said it herself. You should be compensated for any work you do, even if it’s for your friends lol as they can try to use you. That’s very non-capitalist).

It’s hilarious to me that this is technically a comedic scene, but it represents the real life men so well - “I don’t want a woman who is close to me in age, I want a 20yo that I could treat like a child and easily control”. All of them have standards from space and when nobody wants to date them they bitch that women have “too high standards”. Honey, if bare minimum is a high standard for you, it’s a you problem. People don’t want to date self-righteous douchebags that think everything wrong in their life is a fault of women who decided to not pick toxic and nasty men. Women no longer want to lower their standards from barely above the ground to the rock bottom of the Earth, so you could make the cut. It’s called self-preservation in a hostile environment.

This is hilariously on the nose when it comes to Arturian legends. Also, this whole “Hero Party recruitment” feels like some TV show production. And indeed later there is a literal live via a glass ball on their activities. INCLUDING INTIMATE SCENES LIKE IN THE BIG FUCKING BROTHER LOL, WTF. This anime breaks everything.

Oh, so she isn’t greedy just because. She is greedy out of necessity, because she has to sacrifice the gold in order to save herself from possibly getting miniaturized into oblivion... I like this anime. The premise is a little bit silly, but it’s surprisingly deep, down to earth and well thought fantasy story. World building is really great here.
