- Vox and the Wilfies -
Vox of The Red returns with a small revival as a Twiggmun with the beloved Wilfies. These guys now share a symbiotic relationship as allies.
As the brains and the fastest group member, Vox helps scout ahead for prey and resources while the Wilfies provide muscle. Consider this as another reboot for Vox but a return for the Wilfies. Introducing Benjamin and Elias. I'm referencing a lot of actual wolf colours and I enjoy drawing them. No promises but I will draw more~

"Honestly, I didn't think I'd see you here." Especially also rooming with a Russian. One that hardly ever spoke, too. "Are you sure you're going to come out alive? I mean, at least you won't have to be an errand boy for Big M."

“Speak for yourself,” her voice taking on the sickly sweet tone she so easily slipped into, an entirely different personality than the one that held an ounce of genuine glimmer, “Haven’t you heard?” Eyelids flutter as she meanders through her own apartment, picking up his drink and drawing it to her lips, “I’m the epitome of innocence,” she fawns eyeing him over the edge of glass, returning it to the table once it was empty.
“Look who’s made themselves right at home.” Given, Isla hadn’t left him with much choice after all that followed the after-party. Easier to fix busted stitches, among other things, if he was here.

the absolute grip that Jane™ has on male musicians in the pre 2010 era is very interesting. was Jane™ the early version of Y/N? Does it have to do with how unknown women are referred to as Jane Doe? I just have questions

where: the bar when: a few hours after their encounter who: @benjaminvox
Nadezhda spotted him sat at one of the couches at the bar for those on the rich side. She had promised him a drink, and one to keep her word, she fetched them both a drink.
"Thought you could use some company." She sat down beside him, placing a drink in his hand.

where: a park in london, very public who: @benjaminvox
It was hard not to miss him. Benjamin would always stand out to her, living rent free in her head ever since he killed her dog. He became public enemy number one, even bumping Ayaz down one. A feat to do; he should be honoured. She would relish in his demise when the time came.
When the time presented itself, the brunette stepped onto the pathway, a few strides had her in beside him, a mischievous smirk on her lips. "She let you off her leash." Disdain in her tone. "Not a smart thing. You might get lost." Or better yet, killed.

FOR: @johnnparsons WHEN: 22nd of March, 2024. WHERE: Berkeley Estate.
The night was young, alcohol coursing through his body as he excused himself from his circle. Benjamin already had the cigarette between his lips, walking through the double doors alone. However, he stopped dead, silencing the groan that was sitting on the tip of his tongue.
"Sorry Johnathan, I'll...come back -- later."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/10/16/kamala-harris-israel-gaza-lebanon/
The headline says: "Israel complicates election’s final stretch, an issue Democrats hoped would fade"
The sub-hed continues: "Benjamin Netanyahu’s escalating assaults in Gaza and Lebanon have become a growing vulnerability for Kamala Harris amid her bid for the presidency."
But the framing makes no sense. Why did Democrats expect this issue to fade?
Towards the end of the article, we have this:
But Biden and his top advisers agreed with Netanyahu’s premise that the weakening of Hezbollah could be exploited to reshape Lebanon’s politics and appoint a new president. A limited incursion was backed by Blinken, Hochstein, Austin, Middle East coordinator Brett McGurk and White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan, said officials familiar with the matter.
Biden and all his top advisors, including Lloyd Austin, Tony Blinken, and Trump superfan/Iraq puppet government operator Brett McGurk approved an invasion this month.
Again, why did Democrats think this issue would go away? They signed off on an invasion, attempting to install a puppet government in Lebanon, a couple of weeks ago. Invasions don't go away in a hurry.
Earlier in the article, even the Washington Post puts it in perspective:
Michigan has 300,000 people from the SWANA region and they strongly disapprove of the genocide and the Biden/Harris genocide and invasion strategy. This is not fresh news.
Politico reported on this in November 2023: https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/11/11/biden-israel-michigan-support-00125320
You can find it in Vox in February of 2024: https://www.vox.com/politics/2024/2/27/24084168/michigan-gaza-primary-biden-ceasefire-arabs
This is political malpractice, in addition to being murderous policy.
It's like they're trying to lose.

EVENING TWO | EVENING. | FT. @BENJAMINVOX
It was a sight to behold, and one that very few would ever get to see. The bond between two people that were so unlikely, it made no sense: and yet, to them, it made every bit. At some point in the early hours, both Benjamin and Melissa had found themselves partaking in smoke a joint: something, unbeknown to most, they did every so often. It'd taken him six years before she'd given in, and the first time hadn't exactly gone to plan...
Benjamina, having left the unsmoked second half in the ashtray, walked and dropped onto the bed in which Melissa was also lay on. "Do you," he coughed, "Remember the first time you smoked weed with me?" she could already see his lips twitching, and she knew what was coming.
"Oh man, that was...whew." a whistle blowing between lips.
Dead silence rang out between the two for ten seconds before fits of laughter erupted from both of them. It was late, but that didn't stop them, or quieten them for that matter, as they both attempted to get a reign on themselves. It was doubled over, belly-pained, unstoppable laughter. "Ow, it hurts." Melissa managed with a hand, finding her stomach, and the other her mouth.
In was in that choking laughter, that she realised Gideon would probably be back soon, which meant she had to ask her questions now. Or she wouldn't get a chance until the following morning. And that thought sobered her, pushing to sit. Benjamin noticed it too, as he rolled his head to where she was.
"Did you speak to Nevra? Did she do what I asked?"
Benjamin nodded. "Yep, she followed Amélie, spoke to her, too. You've got nothing to worry about, Melissa, seriously. Nevra has it under control."
Gideon ignores the offer for Alka-Seltzer, neither wanting nor trusting anything the Underboss might want to peddle him right now. But it's what Melissa says next that jerks his attention, despite himself. 'I need something from you.'
The unlit cigarette nearly falls from his mouth. What on earth could Melissa possibly need from him?... It doesn't portend anything good. He suspects some sort of trap, some conniving game of hers that he's too inebriated to foresee right now. His own senses have him at a disadvantage tonight, he can't hope to match her in a game of wits. So he removes his boots and says nothing, waiting.
'Would you please stay in here?'
He hasn't looked at her since he entered their tent, but those words drag the man's glazed eyes up to meet hers. There's a surprising amount of vulnerability there, and something that looks like... Fear? But that's not right, Melissa Lin's never been afraid of anything or anyone, and he's known her since he was six. The same age Felix is, now.
In the morning, he'll tell himself he imagined it.
But for now, he watches her a beat longer before taking the cigarette slowly out of his mouth. Maybe he needn't succumb to the craving tonight. Maybe he can hold off until tomorrow. Gideon replaces it in the case Adriana had lent him, and puts that aside.
His head is too muddled to make sense of Melissa tonight, so he throws in the towel.
Alright Lin, you win this round, the Rutherford thinks, but doesn't say. It doesn't need to be said. Evidence enough by the way he's laying his jacket painstakingly out on the ground that he's acquiescing her request. Lays it at the foot of the bed, and hopes to God she won't step on him the next morning. Figuratively and literally.
With an ungraceful plop, the surgeon forfeits himself to the floor. It's difficult to get comfortable, but the alcohol helps to numb some of the unevenness of the ground pressing into his back. The stillness in the tent is uncanny, and even without looking, Gideon can tell she's still watching him. "Go to sleep, Mel..." He echoes a third time, although this time it's in a slurred sing-song. Soon after, he drifts off into fitful sleep.
When he wakes up In the morning, Melissa is gone.

Don't scare Mr. puzzles or trust me. You'll regret it
If you can't see the words:
The TV head in the purple hoodie is Alex Retro. Brenda Retro's twin brother. Even though he's in his late 20s, almost 30, he has the brain of a 15 year old, and likes to mess around on the job, and pulls pranks on his coworkers, always getting him fired in the process. but this time, he decided to pull a spooky prank on his newest boss, Mr. Puzzles, since the spooky season has rolled around and jumpscared him with the horror face from the exorcist show. But nobody told him that Mr. puzzles has incredible reflexes & is easily scared.. let's just say Alex got his screen punched in, glass in his boss's hand, and a scolding from his sister.
Mr. Puzzles doesn't actually mean that. He's just pissed off. He would never fire anyone from the puzzlevision TV crew. They're like family to him
For context of who Brenda is, she's Benjamin Adware's friend, who's an early retired actress who came to work for Mr. Puzzles with her husband, Franklin Pinstripe, after the studio she worked at shut down from bankruptcy. And she & Franklin helped Benjamin get Mr. puzzles out of the asylum as well
(This comic is a reference to casino cups, btw)
Anyone has full permission to dub my comics as long as you credit me
Also, here's references for all of them. And don't mind Benjamin's earlier design 😅
(I inspired Franklin's design off of Vox, if some of you were wondering)

Joshua Keating at Vox:
Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was back in a very familiar building. Not only was he making his fourth address to a joint session of Congress — breaking Winston Churchill’s record for foreign leaders — he’s also been a presence in the building’s halls since serving as a diplomat in the early 1980s. Since he made his first speech to Congress in 1996, Netanyahu has been almost as much a fixture of politics in America as in Israel.
Things felt different today. It’s not just that Netanyahu is a controversial figure, one who drew thousands of protesters onto the streets of Washington. That’s not new; Netanyahu’s 2011 speech to Congress was interrupted by a pro-Palestinian protester in the chamber. What is new is that he has become an increasingly marginalized one. Even a few weeks ago, when Netanyahu’s speech was announced, it had the makings of a marquee political event. Today, it was overshadowed by President Joe Biden’s highly anticipated Wednesday night speech to address his decision to drop out of the presidential election. Dozens of lawmakers — around half of Congress’s Democrats — skipped Netanyahu’s speech altogether.
Soon-to-retire Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin’s presence behind Netanyahu on the rostrum attested to how much of a partisan figure Netanyahu has become. Vice President Kamala Harris, Senate President Pro Tempore Patty Murray, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, one of whom would normally have been in that seat, all declined the role. Netanyahu, who has been Israel’s prime minister for 17 of the last 30 years, has done more than anyone to make support for the country an increasingly partisan issue in the United States, in part through actions like his speech to Congress in 2015. That time, he was invited by congressional Republicans to lobby against the Iran nuclear deal then being negotiated by the Obama administration in what was considered a remarkably partisan speech for a foreign leader. In today’s address, by contrast, Netanyahu made little news. It was a speech that gave little indication of a plan to end the war in Gaza, and likely undermined diplomatic efforts underway to do so. It was a notably defensive speech for Netanyahu, devoted more to refuting criticism of Israel than to charting a way forward out of the morass it has found itself in. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called it “by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States.”
What Netanyahu said — and what he’s doing
Netanyahu recounted the horrors of Hamas’s October 7 attacks and vowed to the families of hostages currently being held in Gaza that he “would not rest until all their loved ones are home.” Not all of those families may be inclined to take him at his word. Many of them are calling for the prime minister to accept a ceasefire deal to secure the hostages’ release, but today Netanyahu vowed that “Israel will fight until we destroy Hamas’s military capabilities and its rule in Gaza and bring all our hostages home,” adding, “That’s what total victory means and we will settle for nothing less.” Netanyahu also said, as he has in several previous remarks, that “[Israel] must retain overriding control [in Gaza] to ensure that Gaza never again poses a security threat to Israel” — a demand likely to be a nonstarter for any ceasefire deal. Despite that, Netanyahu has said in recent days that a ceasefire deal may be near, and the deal currently being negotiated is likely to be the focus of the prime minister’s meeting at the White House with Biden on Thursday. The Biden administration has tended not to respond directly to Netanyahu’s public statements on the deal, and this time was no exception. Asked if Netanyahu’s remarks made that deal less likely, a senior US administration official told reporters on Wednesday afternoon, “We were in the Situation Room doing some other stuff, so I have not seen the speech.”
[...]
How to lose friends and influence
Netanyahu praised President Biden for his “half a century of friendship to Israel” and noted that the president describes himself as a “proud Zionist.” But that only served to highlight the shrinking number of Democratic politicians who would publicly describe themselves that way. Polls have consistently shown a deep partisan divide opening up over sympathy toward Israel. He also thanked former president and current Republican nominee Donald Trump for actions in support of Israel during his presidency, including recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. Netanyahu will be traveling to Florida to meet with Trump (and possibly celebrate the birthday of his son, who lives in Miami). Still, while Trump has not exactly turned on Israel, he has clearly soured somewhat on Netanyahu, who he is still angry at for congratulating Biden on his election victory in 2020. It doesn’t seem like a coincidence that Trump posted a friendly letter from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the day he announced the Netanyahu meeting.
Yesterday’s joint address to Congress from war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu is further proof that his support is restricted to hard-line pro-Israeli supporters in the USA.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) had the right response to his grotesquely hateful speech with the “War Criminal” sign.
