Melody wrote her song with Peter Boström and Thomas G:Son (responsible for both of Loreen's entries in 2012 and 2023), Joy Deb (who wrote Måns Zelmerlöw's winning entry in 2015), Juan Sueiro, and Alberto Lorite.

On February 3rd, three Eurovision 2024 contestants were announced after they won their national finals.

After Melodi Grand Prix, Norway announced that the band Gåte and their song "Ulveham" would represent them in May.

Spain crowned Nebulossa the winner of Benidorm Fest, and as a result the duo will be singing "Zorra" in Malmö.

Finally, Malta will be sending Sarah Bonnici and her song "Loop" after her win at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest.
