#FridayWorkday: Happy “Friday Workday” everyone!! Today’s work office was spent covering my high school’s Class of 2021 commencement ceremony for “The Eastwick Press”!! I missed a little part of the ceremony due to my early morning doctor’s appointment (physical/mental health check) but was glad I was able to photo shoot this again for the 4th time!! This year’s commencement wasn’t held under a tent this time!! Families were able to remain seated on the football field behind the graduating students waiting to receive their diplomas!! No masks and temperature checks were needed this time around!! Superintendent Angeline Maloney gave an emotional speech to send off the graduating class before receiving their diploma holders. Despite everything that all students, faculty, and staff endured during the pandemic, this graduating class remained together & worked hard to get to where they are today!!! Congratulations to the Tamarac High School Class of 2021!! Best of luck, love, and well wishes to you all in your future!! May you all remain “Bengal Strong” & “Bengal Proud” of one another!! Happy Friday everyone! This afternoon, I cheered on the Tamarac High School graduating seniors who took part in today’s “Next Step Day Reverse Parade”. The seniors decked their cars out and wore their college shirts to celebrate what they’ll be doing post-graduation. Congratulations to the Tamarac seniors for all their hard work and thank you to my class of 2007 advisors, Mr. Jacques and Mrs. Bishop and Superintendent Maloney for putting on the event for the students & the community! #SaturdayThrowback: Last Saturday, I attended and covered the Tamarac High School Happiness Drive Thru event for “The Eastwick Press”! It was beautiful and emotional to witness the faculty, staff, students, and families unite to express words of encouragement, hope, and support during turbulent times!! #WaybackWednesday & #OnThisDate: Happy Wednesday everyone!! On this day last year (6/16/2020), I was at Tamarac HS covering an outdoor event! Elementary School students were dropping off their computer supplies, picking up their school supplies, and met with their teachers as they celebrated their moving up day from Pre-K, Kindergarten, & 5th Grade!! Today (6/16/2021) I covered another event at work at the school. This time it was a High School Sports event in which 9 Seniors signed their letters of intent to play sports at their college of choice held on the school track!!
