पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल को दिल्ली तलब तृणमूल सरकार के साथ ताजा मेलजोल से भाजपा नाराज | The governor of West Bengal was called to Delhi, BJP displeased with most recent amity with Trinamool government;
Tumblr media

Vivek Agnihotri made terrible joke on rape
For him rape is fine as long as it's not Kashmiri or Bangladeshi Hindu women getting raped because he can't make a sanghi propaganda movie and money out of it.
I hope he chokes and dies.

Marathas Did Not Care About Hindus, Mughals Did Not Care About Muslims - History Is More Nuanced Than These Stupid Binaries
It took the British around 100 years to fully conquer India. And by India, I mean British India consisting of Myanmar, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and present-day India. And in this, they were helped and aided by all sorts of Indian kingdoms and people. Rajputs and Marathas were major forces that helped the British conquer the most difficult of kingdoms. For instance, Tipu Sultan who…

So we, as a country, are just voting in bjp for another term, huh? We are voting in the party that thinks Israel is its idol in building a Hindu ethnostate. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh have all gone to BJP. Telengana is still standing strong. I don't know what will happen in Bengal because, holy shit the corruption of Trinamool Congress is out there in the open and it is nasty as fuck. But I don't want my state to fall to BJP, and the only party that can face off BJP in this state is Trinamool. BJP will destroy everything, they will destroy more of our people if they come to power here.

Quote
A democracy doesn't just mean having regular elections. You cannot be a democracy when 200 million people who constitute a religious minority are expected to live without rights. When you can lynch them, kill them, incarcerate them, economically and socially boycott them, bulldoze their homes with complete immunity and threaten to strip them of citizenship. When the murderers and lynchers can aspire to move swiftly up the political ladder. The systematic indoctrination of people on the scale on which it has taken place over decades is hard to reverse. Every institution that is supposed to make up the system of checks and balances has been hollowed out, repurposed and deployed against people as a weapon of Hindu nationalism. In terms of political opposition, there are political parties that have successfully opposed the BJP at the state level in Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, but opposition is virtually non-existent at the national level.

This fucking country doesn't punishes rapist, instead they honor them by making them wear garlands and they let the rapist flew out of the country🥰. Women security is a FUCKING JOKE. In India, everyday we come across COUNTLESS news that a girl was raped. I blame each and every fucking political party, whether it be BJP or INC or TMC. Not one can say confidently that they have a better record in their respective regions of women security. This is shit, why the fuck does no one cares? The problem is much much deeper than just rape, it's about the mindset of people in this country. As an Indian, I can vouch for this with countless other girls, that misogyny and patriarchy are so DEEPLY ROOTED in our culture. "Don't let your daughter go outside after 5pm" "Women are supposed to stay at home" "Women should dress appropriately to not invite any assault" and so many other illogical statements. They don't see the issue here. They don't see that it is MEN who are raping, torturing, brutally murdering my sisters, my mothers and my daughters. No, the whole country has NEVER EVER accepted it officially. We are a country of 1.4 billion people and not one seems to care about bettering this country so that me and each and every woman in this country feels safe. Fuck the government.
She has not just been raped and murdered, she was very much tortured and brutalized like Nirbhaya. It is all over the Bengali news. I don't understand why no one is talking about this.
A 2nd year Respiratory Medicine in a well known government medical college in Kolkata, West Bengal, India is found in a semi-naked state and the college/ hospital called it a suicide.
I'm a MBBS student in second year. After reading about her, what crossed my mind is the amount of times she would have felt this fear, before this worst fear of hers eventually materialized.
"A young resident doctor was found dead in the seminar room of her medical college in Kolkata. Initial autopsy report suggests possible rape and murder."
As all are saying,
She wasn't walking the street at odd hours. She wasn't wearing clothes that were provocative. She wasn't loitering in dangerous neighbourhoods.
She was a resident doctor, looking for a place to rest in her own hospital.
She had been on duty and had gone to rest in the early hours of Friday.
The one place which was supposed to guarantee her safety failed her, miserably.
Someone comes, rapes a female pg who is merely resting in a seminar hall because there is no proper place for her to rest, brutalized her and kills her. How did NO one know? The college and police initially call it a suicide. Excuse me? It is also being said that under pressure from local politicians, the Principal and Dean attempted to alter the post-mortem report. Autopsy confirms sexual assault.
Tumblr media
What are the actions taken? One man arrested because his behavior seemed "shady". This is clearly not an act of one man. And this was a very well aware of and a well executed criminal act.
Tumblr media
Also, all this happening in WB right when the situation of bangladesh is in turmoil and news of Bangladeshi Hindus being killed and tortured, seems wrong, VERY WRONG. Happening right before NEET-PG, as 24 lakh doctors prepare to write an exam on Sunday to be resident doctors, this news has wrapped us all in agony and rage,
What are they working so hard for? Why should they aspire to be in a system that ignores their basic needs? The minimum requirement of a workplace is safety. That should be non-negotiable.
This profession demands extereme hardwork, a lot of mental strength and Physical Assaults, harassment, low paying jobs with odd working hours with intense humiliation. Now its the worst of all seeing a bright mind losing her life in the most disrespectful state of all. This should never happen to any woman.
I'd also like to question why isn't any big media house covering this news, where are all the international news channels all this time.
What are the students in other medical colleges doing? This talks about their own safety and lives. What are the medical students across the world doing? It's time for us to stand for the most basic Human right, safety.
Yesterday when my roommate, an MBBS final year intern was heading for her night posting, I feared and prayed for her to come back safely. Thinking about it, in a few years I will also have night posting, I'll also return from my hospital duties late at night. I'll also have to go through the same fear, and I'll also have to keep praying that my worst fears don't turn into reality. So many female doctors, nursing staffs, other Healthcare workers, other working women, non-working women go through the same fear, probably multiple times a day.
It is a shame to be born in such a disgusting world and society, it is shame to witness such a brutal crime, and it is a shame to live in this fear daily.
Those RAPISTS need to be hunged infront of the whole natio...if needed burned alive. People should fear the idea of raping, more than getting raped.

Sometimes I wonder if the people forming the government are simply too ignorant or too spineless to actually do something about West Bengal. It's a state in shambles. There's nothing resembling law and order, elections mean nightmares, and if you're an Opposition aka BJP supporter in this state you get to have a target painted on your back, and if you or your family get killed the state protects your killers.
I don't understand what's stopping them from taking any steps regarding this state? Do you want the situation to get as bad as Kashmir before you do anything? Are you willfully ignorant? Or in cahoots with the state? I cannot believe that this party, whose workers are killed on an almost daily basis in this state, are just sitting around doing nothing. Why can't you do something for them? You form the government at the Centre!!! Why must Suvendu Adhikari be the one to speak up every time?
Support those working for your party at the ground level! They risk their lives only to have no one from the top brass even glance their way. I'm not even bringing up actually making sure the victims get justice. Call me crazy but maybe if you stood by your workers, supported them and actually helped them further their political careers because they know the ground realities of this state, you'd have better results. I know CPI(M) (the most prominent communist party in Bengal) and Congress workers get beaten up too, but they're hypocrites, so it's expected of them. But not from the BJP. You are the government ! Why won't you help the people of West Bengal?
Years and years of hearing that Modi, Amit Shah, etc are fearless leaders, and that this government is not afraid to make tough decisions, and none of it ever applies to their policies for Bengal. "The government of India will interfere when things get bad!!!" Must be nice to live in a dreamworld where that is the reality.

Left-Congress Combine Dents BJP's Prospects in Bengal: Analyzing the Impact
In the latest election cycle, the Left-Congress alliance emerged as a formidable force, significantly affecting the BJP’s performance in West Bengal. Despite the BJP banking on the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) to win over voters, the combined opposition of the Left and Congress, along with other factors, played a crucial role in the BJP’s setbacks. The Left-Congress alliance secured 12% of…

Jitendra Kumar Tiwari: The Controversial Political Journey
Jitendra Kumar Tiwari, a prominent political figure from Asansol in West Bengal, has recently found himself embroiled in controversy once again. Formerly associated with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and now a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tiwari's political trajectory has been marked by significant ups and downs.
Tumblr media
Tiwari's latest controversy stems from allegations made by the TMC, accusing him of meeting a National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer to conspire against TMC leaders in exchange for money. These claims have been vehemently denied by Tiwari and the BJP.
Born in Asansol, Tiwari began his political career in 2006 with the TMC, contesting his first Assembly election from Raniganj. Over the years, he held various positions within the TMC, including mayor of the Asansol Municipal Corporation and TMC MLA from Pandabeswar. Tiwari's fluency in Hindi proved advantageous in Asansol, a region with a significant Hindi-speaking population.
In 2021, Tiwari switched allegiance to the BJP amid internal disputes within the TMC. He contested the Assembly elections on a BJP ticket but faced defeat. Despite this setback, Tiwari remains a key figure in Asansol politics, especially considering the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Recent events have further intensified speculation around Tiwari's role in the BJP's electoral strategy for Asansol. With the BJP yet to announce its candidate for the seat, Tiwari's name is circulating as a potential contender due to his local roots and Hindi-speaking background.
Amidst the unfolding political drama, Tiwari has threatened to file a defamation suit against those making allegations against him. He remains steadfast in his commitment to the BJP's cause in Asansol, emphasizing the electorate's support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi regardless of the candidate.
The unfolding narrative surrounding Jitendra Kumar Tiwari underscores the complex dynamics of regional politics and the evolving landscape of West Bengal's political arena.

See I don't know if I should support the ban of The Kerala Story or not. On one hand it acts like a catalyst that further tries to incite hate and divide on communal and religious lines. It absolutely is a propaganda in a atmosphere where islamophobia is rampant and where the nationalist hindutva freaks are constantly looking for anything and everything to justify their hate. But my question is won't this ban be politicized and used as "see! They want to hide something! That's why they are suppressing our voice and banning the film under the guise of secularism!" Etc etc. Besides what about a free media? But then again after what people have done with The Kashmir Files, where the violence that happened was exaggerated and the exaggeration then got used to instill a feeling of being at war with a religious community, it doesn't take much to conclude that the Kerala story too is a work of the same political genre. So I personally don't know what to say. Like in the US you have copaganda. Is it better to ban those shows? Or to let it run but form your own educated decisions.
Can it even be compared because in India it is a propaganda against a community and the resulting boiled over pots would be riots and targeted assaults on the people of the community

Political Controversy Erupts as Police Block Visits to Sandeshkhali: Congress and BJP Delegations Stopped
The political atmosphere in West Bengal has become charged following the police’s obstruction of visits to Sandeshkhali by both Congress and BJP delegations. The BJP’s planned visit saw a diversion to the West Bengal Raj Bhavan, while Congress’s Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury staged a protest where he was halted.
Tumblr media
The actions of the police drew sharp criticism from both parties, with accusations of unconstitutional and unethical behavior directed towards West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
The six-member BJP delegation, including Union Ministers Annapurna Devi and Pratima Bhowmick, was halted merely five kilometers from Sandeshkhali, at Rampur. Similarly, the Congress team, led by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, faced obstacles at Sarberia and Rampur. The parties condemned these actions in unison.
The unrest in Sandeshkhali has led to the imposition of prohibitory orders under CrPC Section 144, following violent protests by local villagers. Allegations against local Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Shahjahan Sheikh and associates include land grabbing, sexual harassment, and assault on local laborers.
Reports indicate that the BJP leaders were stopped by the police upon reaching Rampur, where they alleged mistreatment and were compelled to stage a dharna for hours. Annapurna Devi expressed dismay, highlighting the contradiction of allowing criminals freedom while impeding elected representatives from addressing citizens’ concerns.
BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul emphasized their attempts to comply with regulations, only to be met with persistent obstruction. Despite this, the delegation managed to connect with women in Sandeshkhali via video call before redirecting their efforts to the Raj Bhawan in Kolkata to meet Governor C V Ananda Bose.
Meanwhile, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s protest in Rampur underscored his questioning of the legitimacy of police barricades on public roads. He dismissed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s allegations linking the BJP and RSS to instigating trouble in Sandeshkhali, condemning what he deemed divisive politics.
In contrast, TMC MP Shantanu Sen defended the police’s actions, questioning the BJP’s motives and citing their alleged lack of proactiveness in previous incidents. Sen echoed the sentiment that allowing the BJP delegation entry could destabilize the state’s atmosphere.
