Inktober 2020 Day 9. Throw One of my favourite memories (and I have many) for the word “throw” was of a game I played with my boys and lots of the kids growing up in the community. We called it “the bench game”. At the park near our house was a baseball diamond with the tall metal backstop fences. In this winter game, I would stand about 20 metres away and the boys would stand on the bench. Then I’d make a stack of snowballs and try to hit the buys in the bench. The last one not hit would win. I’m pretty accurate 😊 As with all games, the rules changed so the boys would also try to knock each other off the bench! As you can see, I am a few weeks behind on the Inktober prompts. A major disruption in my life has completely derailed me, but in such a good way.
