What's your all time favorite rizzles fic? Hype your own or someone else's.
It’s definitely not any of my own 😂 I consider myself to be the utility player of this fandom’s fic - not really anyone’s hall of famer but boy do I make some flashy plays from time to time. Like a lesbian fanfiction Ben Zobrist (whose wife has not cheated on her with a pastor yikes).
My favorite rizzles fic of all time is The Commitment by An-Exhibition. I feel I’ve probably said that before. But man oh man does that fic cut in the best way.
Thanks for asking!

I have feelings about several guys on the upcoming HOF ballot!!
Bobby Abreu, Carlos Beltrán, Mark Buehrle, Carlos González, Curtis Granderson, Félix Hernández, Torii Hunter, Adam Jones, Andruw Jones, Ian Kinsler, Russell Martin, Brian McCann, Dustin Pedroia, Andy Pettitte, Hanley Ramirez, Manny Ramirez, Fernando Rodney, Alex Rodriguez, Francisco Rodríguez, Jimmy Rollins, CC Sabathia, Ichiro Suzuki, Troy Tulowitzki, Chase Utley, Omar Vizquel, Billy Wagner, David Wright, Ben Zobrist
Russell Martin, I mean obviously. 🍁
I don't know how many of yall are old enough to remember the excitement of getting Tulo. He ended up being injured a lot, but just getting him signaled we're serious about this. Kinda like the more recent big contracts for Ryu and Springer.
Mark Buehrle! Goodness, I loved watching Buehrle pitch. 💕
Not many guys from this era with absolutely no Jays connections that I have warm fuzzy feelings for, but Ichiro and Felix are two of them.
I am, however, vehemently opposed to several of the guys for the simple fact of them playing well on other AL East teams 😆
👋 Oh hey, hi Will Wagner's dad!

4/2/13: Price Flummoxes Orioles, Rays Win
Tuesday, April 2, 2013 Tropicana Field
Final score: Rays 4, Orioles 2 MVP: LF Matt Joyce, Rays: 3-4, 2 RBI, 2 doubles
David Price kept the Orioles hitters in check over 7.1 innings, scattering 7 hits but allowing just 2 late runs, while the Rays used some early offense to emerge victorious in their opening game. Matt Joyce and Evan Longoria drove in 2 runs apiece, leading the Rays offense to overcome two separate early baserunning gaffes - the first featuring Sam Fuld trying to score from 2nd on a hit to right, the second a couple innings later when a bases-loaded, no-out situation was immediately erased as Longoria was picked off of 3rd base in a 'line out/throw out' double play that greatly stunted a potentially huge offensive inning. The Orioles did themselves no favors offensively, with left fielder LJ Hoes and his 9th inning pinch-hitter replacement, Nate McLouth, combining to ground into 3 double plays, including McLouth's game ending variation.
BAL 2/6/0 – LP: Jason Hammel (0-1) TB 4/10/0 – WP: David Price (1-0); S: Fernando Rodney (1)
TB 1st: Desmond Jennings lines a lead off single into left; Sam Fuld doubles to center; Ben Zobrist walks to load the bases with no outs; Evan Longoria flies out to shallow center; Matt Joyce ropes a RBI single to right, scoring Jennings easily, but Fuld is thrown out at home. 1-0 TB TB 3rd: Jennings leads off the inning with a walk; Fuld singles to center; Zobrist singles to center to load the bases with no outs; Longoria loops a 2 RBI single to left; Joyce drops a double in center, scoring Zobrist; Yunel Escobar walks to re-load the bases with no outs; James Loney hits a screaming liner right to Brian Roberts at second, who throws to 3rd to double off Longoria. 4-0 TB Bal 7th: Matt Wieters drops a lead-off single into left; Chris Davis singles to center, with Wieters sliding safely into 3rd ahead of the tag; JJ Hardy hits a sacrifice fly to plate Wieters. 4-1 TB Bal 8th: Steve Pearce doubles to right to lead off the inning; after a ground out, Nick Markakis singles to right, plating Pearce. 4-2 TB
(Strat note: Nolan Reimold was not present in the initial set of cards - he was in the additional cards, so he is present for games from now on out - and this may have cost the Orioles here, as the LF I used to replace him, LJ Hoes - who I know was still in the minors at this point, but he was a right-handed hitter, which I figured would give him an edge over Nate McLouth against the lefty Price - went 0-3 with 2 inning-ending double plays, including 1 with a man on 3rd. In the 9th, with Price out and a righty on the mound - closer Fernando Rodney - the Orioles turned to McLouth to bat with a man on 1st, and McLouth promptly grounded into his own double play. Not sure Reimold would've been any sort of opening day savior, but he probably wouldn't have had 3 inning-ending double plays in 4 at bats.)
Tampa Bay 1-0; Baltimore 0-1 Next game in replay: STL (García, 0-0) @ ARI (Cahill, 0-0)

Edman, who started the season with the St.
Louis Cardinals this season, left St. Louis in July in a triangular trade between the Dodgers, 다파벳우회주소St. Louis and the Chicago White Sox, and will wear the Dodgers uniform. He hit only 0.237 in 37 games since his transfer, but he made the Dodgers satisfied with his great postseason performance.
After hitting .235 with the San 해외배팅사이트순위Diego Padres in the National League Division Series, Edman became MVP of the series by batting .407 with one homer and 11 RBIs in six consecutive games of the New York Mets and the National League Championship Series. He then hit .294 with one homer and one RBI in the World Series with the Yankees.
Edman is a "utility player" whose main position is second baseman, but he can see 메이저사이트both shortstop and third baseman, and can even play outfield in the event of another season. The value of utility players in modern baseball is quite great, as Ben Zobrist has shown in the past.

The Chicago Cubs' 2016 World Series victory is one of the most legendary and emotional moments in sports history. After a staggering 108-year championship drought, the Cubs finally broke the curse and captured the title in a dramatic Game 7 against the Cleveland Indians (now known as the Guardians).
The series was a rollercoaster ride that saw the Cubs fall behind 3-1, facing elimination. However, they mounted a spirited comeback, winning Games 5 and 6 to force a decisive Game 7, played on November 2, 2016, in Cleveland.
Game 7 itself was nothing short of unforgettable. The Cubs took an early lead, but the Indians clawed back, tying the game in the eighth inning on a two-run home run by Rajai Davis, sending the contest into extra innings. The tension was palpable as both teams grappled with the weight of history.
Then, after a brief rain delay before the 10th inning, the Cubs rallied. Key hits from Ben Zobrist and Miguel Montero helped push the Cubs ahead 8-6. Though the Indians scored one run in the bottom of the 10th, Cubs pitcher Mike Montgomery induced a groundout to third baseman Kris Bryant, who threw to first baseman Anthony Rizzo to seal the victory.
The Cubs' long-awaited triumph ended the longest championship drought in American sports and unleashed a wave of euphoria for Cubs fans across the globe. Players like Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Javier Báez, and Ben Zobrist (who won the World Series MVP) became icons. Manager Joe Maddon’s unorthodox strategies paid off, while Theo Epstein, the Cubs' President of Baseball Operations, further solidified his legacy as a baseball genius, having also ended the Boston Red Sox's 86-year drought in 2004.
The victory was not just about baseball—it was about generations of Cubs fans, many of whom had lived their entire lives without seeing their beloved team win a World Series. It was an emotional, historic, and unifying moment for the city of Chicago and baseball fans everywhere.

the Zobrists having a scandalous middle-of-the-season divorce was not something I saw coming for the 2019 season. It makes me sad, they seemed happy.
