Because I love Rey but don't trust that the next movie won't absolutely kill everything for me, I'm bringing this back as what I'd really hoped would happen.

Following the events on Exogal, Poe, Rose and the rest of what’s left of the rebellion attempt to rebuild and establish a new system of government and track down the last of the First Order dissenters. Finn, Jannah and Lando head out in search of the remaining Stormtroopers in hopes of rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Rey struggles to find her place in this post-war society. Feeling hollow after the loss of her Dyad she heads off world to track down more Jedi and Sith artifacts only to learn that all hope is not lost for Ben Solo. There is no death, there is only the force.
