A Kingdom of Lies by Ben Alderson
☆☆☆☆☆
4.5
Robin was angry the Oakstorm Court wouldn't give him an army to fight Doran with so he decided the next best idea was to get captured by the hunters and taken to their leader The Hand so he could give him an army to fight with. The hunter who captured him was Duncan, somebody who we soon realizes has a lot in common with Robin. Basically this entire book was them traveling to meet with The Hand, and the troubles (and love) they went through to get there.
There was a lot more story building in this book than the first one, three different gods and explanations on each one and why they worship them!? Crazy. A whole cult. So many plot twists as well. I loved this book and will be getting the next one soon

double dare: kiss Althea in public or lock Hailey in a closet for an hour
Send “double dare” along with two dares and my muse has to do one or the other. / @voxvulgi
Ben blanched at such a request. This was such a stupid game -- a stupid, stupid game -- and yet he was also never one to shy away from a challenge. It was both a noble part of him and a curse, and in this moment, he juggled with which option would get him into the least bit of trouble.
Were he to accost Althea in public, it would assuredly lead to social shame -- supposing that they were amongst other acquaintances, of course -- while if he were to lock Hailey inside a closet, he worried about the irreparable damage it might due to her humors. He could never possibly draw her into such pain and trauma; the idea of her weeping made his stomach turn.
That was why, although it was equally unbecoming, Ben found himself loitering outside the iron gates of Althea's manor. She was due to go riding that afternoon, and at this time of day, people were often far too preoccupied with their own travels to much concern themselves with...well...the sort of debauchery he was about to commit.
Jittery and anxious, he started up the pathway just as the front door opened, and Althea bounced down the steps in her riding habit.
"Miss Belcher?" Already, his heart was being squeezed against his lungs, drumming painfully as he made his approach. Palms starting to sweat, he rubbed them against his coat while briskly walking up the pathway. "Madam, may I have a moment of your time?"
Althea's light eyes reflected the sun's afternoon rays, a kaleidoscope of warm, enchanting colors that normally would've made his stomach flip and twist for far different reasons. Now standing directly before her, his height caused a slant of shade to mute the vibrant, spectacular sparkle in her gaze. Swallowing, Ben darted his eyes in between her face and the passing crowd walking through the streets.
They do not know you, he tried to remind himself. She doesn't truly know you, either -- no harm can befall your family.
It was this thought that echoed throughout his subconscious, stark and frantic as he took Althea's chin between thumb and forefinger. This action alone was already breaching propriety.
"Forgive me," Ben whispered, and then his mouth was suddenly on hers, firm and unyielding as he angled into the giving slant of her lips. His cheeks burned and he fumbled at her waist, attempting to remain gentlemanly despite the very brazen overstep.
Angling more strongly into their kiss, he only tipped back into awareness once he remembered one very important thing: this affection was not invited -- and with a panicked breath, he immediately broke the kiss and staggered backwards, lifting his hands in a feeble shield of supplication.
"I needed...um...luck," he stammered. "In my family, it is tradition to kiss a beautiful woman in order to receive the news we are praying for, so I...er...thank you." God, please end my suffering.
Face heating in shame, Ben abruptly about-faced and started briskly cutting back toward the fence, no longer able to bear her eyes on him. He was going to kill whomever forced him into this dare!

The Liveship Traders by Robin Hobb (1998-2000)
Wizardwood, a sentient wood. The most precious commodity in the world. Like many other legendary wares, it comes only from the Rain River Wilds.
But how can one trade with the Rain Wilders, when only a liveship fashioned from wizardwood can negotiate the perilous waters of the Rain River? Rare and valuable a liveship will quicken only when three members, from successive generations, have died on board. The liveship Vivacia is about to undergo her quickening as Althea Vestrit’s father is carried on deck in his death-throes. Althea waits for the ship that she loves more than anything else in the world to awaken. Only to discover that the Vivacia has been signed away in her father’s will to her brutal brother-in-law, Kyle Haven...
Others plot to win or steal a liveship. The Paragon, known by many as the Pariah, went mad, turned turtle, and drowned his crew. Now he lies blind, lonely, and broken on a deserted beach. But greedy men have designs to restore him, to sail the waters of the Rain Wild River once more.
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke (1997-2021)
With lonely Ben aboard, brave dragon Firedrake seeks mythical place where silver dragons can live in peace. Over moonlit lands and sparkling seas, they meet fantastic creatures, summon up surprising courage - and cross a ruthless villain with an ancient grudge determined to end their quest. Only a secret destiny can save the dragons and bring them the true meaning of home.
The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow (2020)
In 1893, there's no such thing as witches. There used to be, in the wild, dark days before the burnings began, but now witching is nothing but tidy charms and nursery rhymes. If the modern woman wants any measure of power, she must find it at the ballot box.
But when the Eastwood sisters -- James Juniper, Agnes Amaranth, and Beatrice Belladonna -- join the suffragists of New Salem, they begin to pursue the forgotten words and ways that might turn the women's movement into the witch's movement. Stalked by shadows and sickness, hunted by forces who will not suffer a witch to vote -- and perhaps not even to live -- the sisters will need to delve into the oldest magics, draw new alliances, and heal the bond between them if they want to survive.
There's no such thing as witches. But there will be.
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon (2013-present)
In 2059, Scion has taken over most of the world's cities, promising safety for all the citizens it deems worthy and wiping out clairvoyants wherever it can find them.
Paige Mahoney, though, is a clairvoyant--and a criminal just for existing. Paige is determined to fight Scion's power, and as part of the Seven Seals, Paige has found a use for her powers: she scouts for information by breaking into others' minds as they dream.
But when Paige is captured and arrested, she encounters a power more sinister even than Scion. The voyant prison is a separate city, controlled by a powerful, otherworldly race. These creatures, the Rephaim, value the voyants highly--as soldiers in their army.
Paige is assigned to a Rephaite keeper, Warden, who will be in charge of her care and training. He is her master. Her natural enemy. But if she wants to regain her freedom, Paige will have to learn something of his mind and his own mysterious motives.
Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (2021-present)

When 18-year-old Zetian offers herself up as a concubine-pilot, it’s to assassinate the ace male pilot responsible for her sister’s death. But she gets her vengeance in a way nobody expected—she kills him through the psychic link between pilots and emerges from the cockpit unscathed. She is labeled an Iron Widow, a much-feared and much-silenced kind of female pilot who can sacrifice boys to power up Chrysalises instead.
To tame her unnerving yet invaluable mental strength, she is paired up with Li Shimin, the strongest and most controversial male pilot in Huaxia. But now that Zetian has had a taste of power, she will not cower so easily. She will miss no opportunity to leverage their combined might and infamy to survive attempt after attempt on her life, until she can figure out exactly why the pilot system works in its misogynist way—and stop more girls from being sacrificed.

Beauty by Robin McKinley (1978)
Beauty has never liked her nickname. She is thin and awkward; it is her two sisters who are the beautiful ones. But what she lacks in appearance, she can perhaps make up for in courage. When her father comes home with a tale of an enchanted castle in the forest and the terrible promise he had to make to the Beast who lives there, Beauty knows she must travel to the castle, a prisoner of her own free will. Her father insists that he will not let her go, but she responds, "Cannot a Beast be tamed?"

Seven Realms by Cinda Williams Chima (2009-2012)

The only thing of value he has is something he can't sell—the thick silver cuffs he's worn since birth. They're clearly magicked—as he grows, they grow, and he's never been able to get them off.
One day, Han and his clan friend, Dancer, confront three young wizards setting fire to the sacred mountain of Hanalea. Han takes an amulet from Micah Bayar, son of the High Wizard, to keep him from using it against them. Soon Han learns that the amulet has an evil history—it once belonged to the Demon King, the wizard who nearly destroyed the world a millennium ago. With a magical piece that powerful at stake, Han knows that the Bayars will stop at nothing to get it back.
Meanwhile, Raisa ana'Marianna, princess heir of the Fells, has her own battles to fight. She's just returned to court after three years of freedom in the mountains—riding, hunting, and working the famous clan markets. Raisa wants to be more than an ornament in a glittering cage. She aspires to be like Hanalea—the legendary warrior queen who killed the Demon King and saved the world. But her mother has other plans for her...
The Seven Realms tremble when the lives of Hans and Raisa collide, fanning the flames of the smoldering war between clans and wizards.

The doctor was finally acquiescing. Good God, it was a true miracle, given how invasive he seemed. In many ways, Ben couldn't blame him -- not truly -- but when he had a mission to uphold, even the slightest delay could lead to a fatal error for his men.
"Thank you," Ben said, relief bleeding into his tone. Or at least, he had been relieved until the man revealed he'd traveled on foot.
Because of bloody course he had.
"Fine," Ben snapped, giving an impatient tug -- one that nearly caused them both to topple into a neighboring wall. "Artillery's more than capable of handling two people. Go on and help me outside."
When pressed for his appointment, Ben hesitated for a long moment. Naturally, he needed to give this information in order to arrive at his destination, but what if it was unsafe? What if he wasn't yet thinking clearly?
Gritting his teeth, Ben stepped with the doctor out into the cool night air, gripping at the man's waist while Ben gestured toward his white mare, who nickered impatiently over by her post. "There she is," he said. "Help me onto her back."
He had half a mind to just take off, but given his double vision, Ben knew it would ultimately be unwise. And sadly, so would be withholding any information.
With a grudging huff, he finally allowed, "I'm meeting a man named Adonis Belcher. Our business is completely irrelevant to you, so I'm hoping you can just get me there and let me continue on with my plans."
@honorhearted (cont from here bc new editor ruined my life)
A doctor’s office? God, the very notion itself was unfathomable. The last thing he needed was another stranger poking about through his business.
Shaking his head (and then immediately regretting it due to the nauseating waves of dizziness), Ben muttered, “No, no, that’s out of the question…but thank you. I’ve sustained far worse than this.”
A musket ball wound arguably was worse than this head injury, yet the continuous tunnel vision was beginning to become a problem. The man was suddenly at his flank, and despite his bruised pride, Ben finally slumped into the stranger’s hold and allowed the man to guide him toward the door.
“I can’t leave my horse,” he said more stubbornly. “Unless you can tether her to your carriage, I will not abandon her here.”
Cannot be more urgent? Oh, this man didn’t know the half of it…
Nearly snorting at the assumption, Ben gripped the man’s coat between his fingers, swaying along as they stumbled outdoors. “I have a meeting to attend,” he said. “I’m scheduled to visit with someone in town, and if I don’t make my appointment…well…” He nearly tripped, causing the two of them to stagger to the left. Placing a hand over his eyes, he slurred, “I’ll make a terrible first impression. Please…just help me get there. Then I’ll be someone else’s problem.”
This man was so stubborn! So stubborn and thankless and even stupid — but Adonis couldn’t leave him to his own devices. He could only stop arguing…and take the gentleman to a doctor’s office instead of whoever he was supposed to meet. Deception was a last resort, one he wouldn’t fall back on unless he deemed it urgent. And just the fact that this man had lost consciousness and was now unable to walk was enough to justify a lie. A lie to save a life; small price to pay.
“Very well, sir. I’ll take you to your appointment.” Only, Adonis had come on foot. There was no carriage to tether the horse to. His family’s carriage couldn’t be seen in this part of town, and his father didn’t even know he had gone for a ‘stroll’.
It would be hard — really hard — to ride a horse with a half-conscious man. Especially one who kept stumbling. But what other choice did Adonis have?
“I’m afraid I don’t have a carriage, sir. Do you think we can both ride on your horse?” he asked, concern practically oozing from his voice. “Where is this appointment you speak of? Who’s expecting you?”
#voxvulgi#uncertain ties#//LoL adonis is probably like *KILLBILLSIRENS*#though ngl i totally forgot what they're supposed to be meeting for sadjaosjdsa#like ben's probably offering fake services for some loyalist cause or another#and then he sees althea and is like *eyes emoji* oh hello#and ofc adonis just deserves none of this chaos lmao

When a writer gets to whumping...
It has been a while since I have attempted to actively post my own writing on here. But after a mostly successful NaNoWriMo attempt, and an overall increase in my whump writing, I have decided to take the leap... again. I have been a lover of whump for longer than I have known the name, and a writer of whump probably since I first started.
What you'll find here: - vampire whump - sibling whump - heavy caretaking - plenty of queer characters - creepy/intimate whumpers - smut - NSFW whump
What you won't find: - pet whump or BBU - heavy gore - whump without some form of caretaker - lady whumpee/whumper - major character death
Blog Masterlist:
A Dance of Stars and Curses- (primary WIP)
Tropes: M/M/M Relationship, two vampires and a human, fated mates, reincarnation, ex-lover whumper, NSFW whump, vampire whump, smut
Content warnings: kidnapping, manipulation, character death (with reincarnation), slavery, graphic noncon, as well as graphic consensual sex, mentions of past child abuse, general vampire whump (starvation, forced turning, hurt mates, etc.)
Synopsis:
Moments of spare happiness, that was all they had every been afforded. Oliver had not meant to fall for two human blood servants but when he rejected his noble-born mate, Merrick, it was with those two humans that he found happiness. His claim to them did not last. Merrick seeks them out and within hours takes away all that Oliver has come to call his. He forcibly changes one of his mates and places a soul-binding curse on the other. Forcing Oliver to play a cruel game in which he keeps one mate for eternity and watches the other slip through his fingers over and over by Merrick's hand.
In the present day, Oliver and his vampire mate, Leo, have made a sworn promise that when they find their mate this time, it will be the last. They will not lose their mate again. But Merrick is not ready to give up their game, even as the soul of their mate grows weaker. As Oliver and Leo race to find a way to break the soul-binding reincarnation spell on their mate and fight off Merrick, they may lose more this time than they bargained for.

A Betrayal of Storms by Ben Alderson
Official Blurb:
With the political intrigue and high heat of A Court of Thorns and Roses and From Blood and Ash, A Betrayal of Storms is perfect for readers who enjoy stories full of magic, romance, and adventure… but with added spice. Half-fey Robin Vale has grown up amongst humans, but that doesn’t save him from being captured for coin by fey hunters. When he’s rescued by a fey princess, he’s taken to Wychwood, the fey realm – where everyone is focused on preparing for war against the humans who hate, hunt, and kill them for coin. Robin doesn’t understand how he fits into the fey’s plans… until he’s revealed to be the lost heir to the Icethorn Court. Aided by the unclaimed, destructive power of the Winter Court, which had been thought destroyed with Robin’s mother’s death, the fey ready their numbers for complete domination of the human realm. But by claiming the throne with the help of his devastatingly handsome personal guard, Erix, Robin’s very presence opposes the long-planned invasion. Along with his allies – including Althea, a stern princess hellbent on stopping the human hunters from killing her kin – Robin is thrust into a world of betrayal, murder, and lies. He must survive long enough to have the choice: listen to fate and claim his family’s power, or let it wreak havoc on a realm that turned its back on him for becoming who he was truly meant to be.
My Thoughts:
A Betrayal of Storms was originally independently published and available through Kindle Unlimited. It, and all later books in the series, were bought by Angry Robot and are now being re-released. I did not read the series when it was originally posted, so I can't give details on any major changes but I did enjoy the book and I think fans of spicy male/male romance books will like it!
The book starts with Robin, our main character who is half-Fey, being kidnapped from his bed in the middle of the night. He quickly learns that his abduction is by an anti-Fey hate group. These first few chapters were surprisingly dark due to this horrifying political climate. Robin is soon saved and taken to Wychwood where the Fey (and other magical beings) live. He learns some life-changing information about his heritage and meets Erix, who will be his new personal guard.
Erix and Robin are immediately drawn to each other and have some fun banter. Erix is mysterious but incredibly protective of Robin - and not just because it's his job. Robin leans on Erix as one of his only trusted allies in a world he doesn't fully understand yet. The two are charming and I thought their dynamic was sweet and steamy.
While their relationship is playing out, there is a big political plot that Erix, Robin, and their friends must navigate. As with the politics in the human world, the politics of the Fae are also pretty dire. The two worlds are at a very dangerous crossroads. Robin is key to either preventing war or watching both of his people descend into bloodshed.
The romance between Robin/Erix is in its early stages in this book, as is the political story. Progress is made on both fronts but it's clear this is just the start of a much bigger story. The ending left me really interested in where the story could be heading in the future. I'm glad that the second book in the series releases so soon!
A Betrayal of Storms is a fast-paced political story woven into a very fun and spicy romance. The story follows some similar beats to other fantasy romances but it's told in a way that I found to be unputdownable. It's perfect for fans of "romantasy" who wish there were more queer options in the genre!
My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tropes/Tags: romance, romantasy, Achillean, forced proximity, spicy, slight love triangle
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5. There are multiple sex scenes that are “Open Door” and explicit.
Content Warnings: Kidnapping, murder/death, political violence
If you liked this I think you will like A Betrayal of Storms: Fans of spicy male/male romance and fans of Ben Alderson's independently published books should love this! I also think anyone who has wanted to see more gay romantasy will be happy to find this.
Other Notes: Ben Alderson has posted some great Robin/Erix art on his Instagram. You can see a few here, here, here, and here.
Links: Storygraph | GoodReads | BenAlderson.com
A Betrayal of Storms will be released on October 22, 2024, and is available for pre-order!
I received an advanced copy of this book for free thanks to NetGalley and Angry Robot. The above are my honest feelings about the book provided.

starter for @benjaminxjackson
location: the delyle
Jaslene had missed her friends and family in East Haven. She had visited quite frequently before and after she was married. It was once she had her daughter Davina and then later, Althea that the travels became less frequent. But, that did no stop the phone calls, the face times and text messages exchanged between her and Ben. They had grown up together in East Haven and she always thought of him as one of her best friends even after all of these years. "So, how is it being the big hot shot owner of this restaurant?" Jaslene inquired in the closed location as she sat in the kitchen with him. "It's got to the nicest restaurant in town, yeah?"

ALDOR E ALTHEA
Rimase lì a muoversi guardandolo e lui guardandola divertito lasciò fare.
ops.

Coco Gauff Makes History with Thrilling U.S. Open Victory
Nineteen-year-old American tennis sensation Coco Gauff secured her first Grand Slam title by winning the U.S. Open women's singles championship in a thrilling three-set match against Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka.
Gauff's remarkable victory unfolded with a scoreline of 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, and it marked her as the third American teenager to clinch the final Grand Slam tournament of the year, following in the footsteps of tennis legends Serena Williams and Tracy Austin. The last time an American woman won the U.S. Open was in 2017 when Sloane Stephens triumphed over her compatriot Madison Keys.
In an Instagram video, Gauff expressed her feelings about the win, stating, "I feel like I'm a little bit in shock in this moment." She continued, "I'm just thankful for this moment; I don't have any words for it, to be honest."
Following her victory, Gauff rushed into the stands to embrace her parents, coach, and other members of her support team. Gauff revealed that it was the first time she had ever seen her father, making the moment even more special.
The young tennis star took a moment to address those who may have doubted her, saying, "Thank you to the people who didn't believe in me. To those who thought they were putting water on my fire, you were putting gas."
Gauff's triumph not only marked her as the 10th teenager to win the U.S. Open women's singles championship but also made her the youngest American to claim this title since Serena Williams did so in 1999 at the age of 17.
Gauff's impressive journey to the U.S. Open final was part of a historic moment for American tennis. She was one of four Black American players, along with Frances Tiafoe, Madison Keys, and Ben Shelton, to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament, a significant achievement in the sport's open era that began in 1968.
This victory is a significant milestone in Gauff's burgeoning career, and it places her in the company of tennis greats. In an interview, Gauff expressed her gratitude and hopes for the future, saying, "It's an honor to be in that stat with Althea Gibson, Serena, Venus [Williams], Naomi [Osaka], Sloane [Stephens]. They paved the way for me to be here… I hope another girl can see this and believe they can do it and hopefully their name can be on this trophy too."
President Joe Biden also extended his congratulations to Coco Gauff, emphasizing her inspiring journey and determination, stating, "Congrats to U.S. Open Champion @CocoGauff. You electrified Arthur Ashe stadium and the entire nation – the first of more to come and proof that anything is possible if you never give up and always believe."
Aryna Sabalenka, despite her loss in the final, will ascend to the No. 1 ranking in women's tennis when the Women's Tennis Association's rankings are updated, while Gauff's ranking will rise to No. 3.
For her remarkable victory, Coco Gauff will receive a prize of $3 million, while Aryna Sabalenka, as the runner-up, will take home $1.5 million.
In reaching the championship, Gauff overcame Karolina Muchova in a two-set match. The match was briefly delayed when climate change protesters disrupted the event, resulting in the arrest of two of the protesters.
Sabalenka's path to the final involved defeating Madison Keys in a hard-fought three-set match that included two tiebreakers.

this is just a little thing/idea that has been stuck in my head for some time...don't know if I will continue or not if I do then this post will be updated with the new parts.
Note: Mark that the protagonist (Eustacia) is meant to be 5 so the misspellings and grammar errors are intentional. Also, this is a journal-styled thing so...
Date: 2/3/1728
Hello umm Mr? Miss? I don’t really know how to right in a diary- or a jornal yet. -Mommy- Mother said she usd to have a journal and that she named it Nikky but I dont undirsdand. she sayd it’s okay not to undirsdand so it is okay. i think i dont have to undirsand but i will give you a name to. I thout about it lots and I think I know. I will call you Althea name of one of most famous Sirs in hystori, sir refers to nights but Althea was a girl night oh wait! Im Eustacia Aster Drakos daughter of Luciel Anteo Drakos. My dad Father is a biiiig deal! he is the king of all kings an…umm an empiror! but he isn’t around much, I dont remember him really but mother sayd I meet him wen I was reaaally little but i dont remember how he looks mother said it’s because he has war i don’t know what war means when i asked mother she said that father was beating up bad pepol to keep us save and syd i dont have to worry
Miss mayd sayd Madame cora needs me for my lessons maybe i will right again to you althea but good day for now!
Date: 5/3/1728
Dear Althea
its me princess Eustacia from The Khoneian Empyre again! I didnt right like i promised becase of my lessons they are alot and really hard. Madame Penelope is not happy with my righting writing. she say my punctio-somthing is bad and so is my spilling and pronounsasion but Madame cora says that im really doing good compar to lots of others for my age but Madame Penelope says Im the girl Emprerrors only child so I have to be relly smart so I to becom a good girl emperor (I forget what girl emperors are called) I have to not eat lots and practice dancing and get good with my lessons. Mother usd to say its okay for me to eat lots and that I dont have to wory about my lessons that much yet but she isnt here to tell madame penelope of no more. when I think about it i feel relly werd and icky and my eys spil water sometimes. Madame cora says its fine and its normal but i don’t like being icky
Date: 2/4/1728
I know lots of new words now! like ‘hypocrisy’ ‘sympathy’ ‘diameter’! Madame penelope has ben taking alll my time so I cant ri write a lots. Madame Penelope is my Nanny, she chooses my teacher and manage my time. Madame cora is much better thou she might be really stony faced but she is very kind I wish she was my Nanny instead. she is my godmother though because she is mothers lady in waiting, Madame penelope is assigned to me by one of fathers mistresses they are taking care of me until my coming of age when I turn 17. I don’t really think they like me though because they always say mean things to me and compare me to my siblings half siblings. Cora said that it’s fine and I don’t need to wory about it because she won’t let them hurt me. I don’t know why she sayd said that though, I don’t think Fathers mistresses are bad they didn’t hurt me so they are good. I think.
Date: 4/4/1728
Today was relly confusioning. I was subbosed to have my very first tea party with other ladies because Madame penelope says that I have to get used to them cause i will have many when I am grown up but I don’t think it went that good. Lady selene of the Ambrosa dukedom was there. Madame penelope said that when we’re both grown up she’ll be my personal mayd and her brother Helios my -night- knight because the Ambrosa duke ancestor made a deal with the Drakos dynasty ancestors so the Ambrosa children serve the royal family but only the ‘legemate’ children that means only the crowned empress child gets speshial treatment. I don't undirstand all of it but now I know I’m special case becas my mother was the queen of all queens. Selene is waaay older than me, she’s 11! i am 5 almost 6, she s realy talented and cool but she was mad at me for some reason.
i am back althea! Madame penelope was not done scolding me she’s saying im a rude child and that i should not have point out the red in lady selene’s dress but i don’t know why. i thought her green dress was -sooo- really pretty! it realy fit her prety eyes so i dold her that red detail she put on the back of her dress was not fitting and she got all emparased and mad and then stormed out wile crying. and some of the other ladyies were laughing and snikering like i sayd something funny ad madame penelope face was soooo red i thought she would kill me then and there! when i followed lady selene she just point at me and look like she also wanted to kill me but she did not say anything but scream “LEAFE ME ALONE! YOU ALREADY DID ENOUF” and left. I do not undirstand I reaaally did want to be friends :(
if someone wants to continue this idea please tag me I wanna see how it would turn out
#og character#random#child mc#can be a reader insert#I just find it interesting how a child would try to understand adults without actually understanding#probably not historically accurate but whatever
