I think my favourite thing about Paige is, in season one, we know her as this passive office worker who just up and finds the courage to help the people who kidnapped her after she witnesses a very law-backed atrocity. And you think how brave and/or insane it is of her, to go from smiling along with a human sacrifice to impersonating a police officer!

And then you learn her dad's an accomplished and previously convicted con man. If anything she probably could've impersonated a cop better if she wasn't so rusty.

20- laptop! but i used to almost exclusively write stories by hand, and i've been getting kind of nostalgic for it recently, so i might start doing that more :]

Hi Jay!

Just wanted to thank you for putting all that mental health stuff on my dash throughout the year, especially today. I try to avoid social media as much as i could today, as everyones posts just constantly remind me of what i don't have. But your little messages in between are like little rays of hope, reminding me to keep going.

So thank you Jay, from the bottom of my heart, for making this last year a bit easier for me. I hope that next year, life will treat you good with all the things you deserve.

yes, keep going! i’m honored to have been able to help, truly--it’s an unusually hard time of year to pull away from the whirlpool of despair when your life is hard enough as it is, and i know that social media (heck, also traditional media) puts out messages that weigh on the mind heavily, even if you use it sparingly. and something else that personally has been tripping me up this year is how rough it is to keep hearing advice about how to cope that feels a bit hollow. so i’m extremely glad that passing on the stuff i’ve found that feels authentic and useful to me is doing real good for others! i know that ‘just a little easier’ is everything.
